but. does ivan know that…?

the ivan that regards his own feelings as shallow, the ivan that learned how emotions are expressed only from copying others… does he even know that the love he’s felt for so long is love? probably not. and part of the reason is the one he loves himself

because the easiest example he has of love is till's feelings to mizi. till outright calls it love, and ivan watches him so much he has to be aware of this and till’s love to mizi is totally unselfish, right. he doesn’t seem to actually want much from her—just that she's still there and still "mizi"

but ivan can't be satisfied with just watching he… wants. ivan wants till’s attention, till’s affection—

surely this selfish wanting can’t be love

...no wonder he was never able to express his feelings straightforwardly when he belittles them so much but he can’t stand not having anything either, so he does… whatever he does instead to get any scraps of attention he can, from someone he's convinced doesn't care about him at all only showing affection when till can't see it, right until he knows he's going to die

but ivan's feelings for till are all he still has of himself... to think of them as shallow...

I've seen this translated as "I should've been kinder" to him (till) or to her (sua)

but really, the one he should've been kinder to was himself

I always feel like the worst kind of character redemptions (other than redemptions where a character immediately redeems themselves after one conversation) are ones where the villain is betrayed and so they switch sides, and it's treated like they've become a better person.

There's something about men getting flustered when you talk to them like you would to a dog. When that animalistic part of them speaks louder and reason vanishes. All they want is the thrill of feeling so good their minds go blank and that spot between their legs is a sinful mess.

And that goes from "Good boy! Who's my good boy?" to commands. "Sit. Lay down," always keeping it simple because in that moment their mind is too fuzzy to comprehend anything that's not tied to their pleasure.

You can't think right now, love. I'll do it for you. Sit there and watch. Stay still while mommy takes care of you. Be quiet. Do you need to be gagged like a pet needs to be muzzled? Leashed and collared so you can behave? We can do all that but eventually you'll learn.

Love the concept of having them like an obedient pet, watching while I play with myself but don't allow them to do anything but stare. Self-control is so important, it only leads to a reward. Brats are fun but when a sub has an "obedience is pleasure" mindset they can get anything from me.

Something I think is cute is that - y’know how Raph’s eyes are more on the yellow side?

Well, you know who also has slightly yellowed eyes? Donnie.

While Raph’s are more yellow, I think it’s cute that this is something that they share and I don’t see it pointed out too often?

It’s also something they both share with Draxum and Splinter’s current form (though again, these two have much more yellow sclera than the boys do.)

But yeah, I like that there’s this little detail that ties Raph and Donnie together, even if it’s small.
