Es la segunda ocasión en su carrera que consigue esta distinción HUMBERTO CONTRERAS El dirigente de los Bravos de Margarita José Moreno se quedó con el “Chico” Carrasquel de la temporada 2023-2024, distinción que premia al mejor manager del año. Moreno recibió 38 votos al primer lugar y siete al segundo para 121 puntos, el manager de Cardenales de Lara, Henry Blanco, le siguió con nueve votos al primer lugar y 35 al segundo (62 puntos. José Alguacil de los Leones del Caracas terminó tercero con dos votos al primer lugar y cinco al segundo (11 puntos), mientras que Buddy Bailey de Tigres de Aragua sacó un voto al primer lugar y tres al segundo lugar (seis puntos). Con José Moreno al frente, los Bravos de Margarita fueron la grata sorpresa de la ronda eliminatoria terminando en el tercer lugar de la tabla de posiciones con 30-25, logrando además que la primera clasificación al Round Robin de la novena margariteña desde la temporada 2018-2019. Moreno consigue así su segunda distinción como Manager del Año, ya había ganado el premio en la temporada 2020-2021 con Cardenales de Lara. Hoy hemos disfrutado de un magnifico día de senderismo con lxs compas de @aspaanda en uno de los lugares más interesantes de la Sierra Morena cordobesa: el Monasterio de Pedrique en Villaharta. Iniciamos la ruta en el restaurante Santa Elisa. A pocos metros de la salida nos encontramos la primera sorpresa: el Horno de cal "La Moheda". A lo largo de unos cuatro kilómetros caminamos entre olivos, coníferas y zumaques, junto al desfiladero que lleva hasta el antiguo monasterio. Este fue lugar de oración y recogimiento. En los últimos años de su vida el escultor Aurelio Teno lo convertió en su hogar y museo, donde hoy se encuentra la mayor parte de su obra. A la vuelta nos desviamos por el camino Pedriquejo hacia la Fuente Boca del Infierno. Como no la encontramos, deshacemos el camino y nos dirigimos hacia las Fuentes Malos Pasos y Agria. Tres ciudadanos fueron aprehendidos durante un operativo de seguridad y prevención #DCDO, realizado en el sector Teatros de la parroquia La Catedral, municipio Libertador del #DistritoCapital. Dos de los sujetos identificados como Jesús Daniel Lara Del Toro y Gilverson Brito Duarte, fueron detenidos por el delito de posesión ilícita de sustancias estupefacientes y psicotrópicas, incautándoseles 61 envoltorios de presunta droga denominada cocaína. Igualmente, se practicó la aprehensión flagrante de la ciudadana Yajaris Yoleixis Pedrique Martínez por el delito de obstrucción, ultraje y resistencia a la autoridad al tratar de evitar la captura de los sujetos antes mencionados. Cabe destacar, que la detenida causó daños materiales a un vehículo particular y lesiones a un funcionario lesionado. El mánager de los Pericos de Puebla, el venezolano Willie Romero, se adjudicó el galardón Alfonso "Chico" Carrasquel, al ser nombrado mánager del año con los Navegantes del Magallanes, en la Liga Invernal Venezolana, al terminar el calendario regular como líderes con foja de 32-17. Dentro del rol regular, alcanzó una racha de 11 triunfos consecutivos que permitió afianzarse en la cima y, del 4 al 12 de diciembre, ganó 7 de 8 juegos para así ganarle la carrera a los Cardenales de Lara, novena a la que aventajó con cuatro juegos. En su roster, contó con el norteamericano Nellie Rodríguez, pelotero que aportó 14 cuadrangulares, el dominicano Alejandro De Aza y el brasileño Leonardo Reginatto, quienes fueron líderes de imparables con 58. Colegio Hebreo Monte Sinaí – Digital Media Library

To the southwest of Mexico City is located the Monte Sinaí School, an institution of more than 60 years that has trained guys in their primary and secondary education. The design of the digital media library arose from the identification of an underused space of the school, a remaining area in the basement of the auditorium of approximately 4,000 sq. m that was adjacent to the elementary building and some computer rooms.

The project opens up new circulations and connects the different levels of the school through new stairs, turning the epicentre of the school towards this area. The media library divides the spaces by age groups and uses the height of the ceilings at heritage, computer area and steps, furniture and graphic design to highlight this distinction.

The media library has wooden steps that break the emptiness of a great double height that dominates the space, creating a more welcoming scale and inviting a multiplicity of uses and positions to encourage students to meet and hang. When we reach the end of the wooden bleachers, a reading and study room connects the area to the classrooms and other study rooms. Here, the media library shows off its great height with an industrial aesthetic ceiling that achieves a special rhythm by combining the front and back of the perforated sheets that balance the scale of the place.

On the other hand, by reducing the height due to the original structure of the Colegio Hebreo Monte Sinaí building, the existing dimensions are used to create a library where furniture, walls and floor are bathed in a striking yellow. In the last space we find the children’s media library, where the furniture was specially designed for the scale and use of the children at the school.

A new classroom was designed with the Makerspace format, this format is based on an educational laboratory, where it is explored and works with all kinds of tools: 3D printers, carpentry, textiles, robotics and cooking in order to make theoretical knowledge practical. The project reinforces the new educational conception that proposes to integrate knowledge through experimentation.

These new classrooms are related to the corridors and the access plaza with glass walls that allow students who are in another space to observe how learning is taking place within these classrooms and laboratories, becoming a more transcendent event than that of the classroom traditional. Curiosity is opened to other age and interest groups.

The furniture and different facilities of the place are what ignite the spark of collaboration and exchange. All the technical aspects that allow and promote the study in this new space were taken care of the lighting design and acoustic control make working in these new facilities very comfortable and efficient.

Given that the public the school serves is children and youth, colour was used boldly; saturating with intensity the transitional spaces or where little time is spent and balancing it more in the spaces of longer stay; resulting in a jovial, professional and cheerful space.
