No matter how fierce the storm, it can not last long. While you are in it, it seems like nothing else exists, but rest assured there is calm outside of the storm and after the storm. Christ with us gives us peace in the storm. The storm will not last. His peace will!

Aunque no me veas, confía

Ha pasado tiempo desde la última vez que escribí algo por aquí, y tengo que decir que han cambiado muchas cosas. Y no ha sido como yo había planeado.

Cambié trabajo. Tres veces. Hace 6 meses pensaba que la voluntad de Dios era que yo cambiase mi trabajo por otro más cercano a mi casa, y daba por obvio que, si era Su plan, todo iba a ir bien. Pero no fue así. A los 25 días me despidieron sin motivos. Fue en ese momento de sufrimiento e incomprensión cuando recordé que Su plan era más grande de lo que yo imaginaba. Y después de estar trabajando un mes como dependienta en una tienda, puedo decir que estoy finalmente en un trabajo con el que muchas veces he soñado, un trabajo que me hace feliz, que me llena y que me hace sentir valorada. Ha costado. He dudado mucho de Dios en este área de mi vida, no entendía porque tenía que dejar un trabajo muy bueno para, fiándome de Él, quedarme sin nada. Y ahora veo como Su visión es siempre más grande, y como cada despido, cada cambio, era para llevarme en el lugar donde estoy ahora. No sé cuánto durará, pero ahora mismo estoy feliz, y veo como desde el minuto uno Dios estaba encajando todas las piezas. Soy yo la que no se fiaba de ello.

A esto, hay que añadir que llevo casi ya un año casada, y ha sido un año bastante complicado. En otro post hablaré seguramente de lo difícil que ha sido juntar dos personas completamente opuestas, pero iguales en orgullo, y lo espectacular que es ver que a pesar de todo seguimos en la misma casa. Pues, resulta que hace un año, me imaginaba ya siendo madre, pero es algo que no ha pasado todavía. Y aunque haya días donde ese tema le da mil vueltas a mi cabeza, intento ver que Dios sabe lo que es mejor para mi, y me lo regalará cuando Él querrá. Cuando será el momento correcto, no para mi, sino para Él. Veo que Dios tiene mucho trabajo que hacer conmigo todavía - y con mi esposo - y hasta que no estemos preparados, no va a regalárnoslo.

Solo son dos ejemplos de situaciones que en estos últimos meses me han revuelto y me han hecho darle mil vueltas a mi cabeza, y a mi relación con Dios. Porque admito que he llegado a dudar de Él muchas veces (de verdad, muchas). Aun me cuesta mucho confiar en Dios en la espera, en el sufrimiento, me cuesta pensar que de verdad al final todo va a ir bien. Pero lo veo en mi vida, y en la de la gente que me rodea, que fiarme de Dios es lo mejor que puedo hacer, aunque no entienda nada de lo que está pasando.

Porque yo no lo veo, pero Dios está ahí cada día trabajando conmigo.

"Y estoy convencido y seguro de esto, que aquel que comenzó la buena obra en ti, la continuará hasta el día de Jesucristo, desarrollando, perfeccionándolo y llevándolo a su finalización completa en ti". Filipenses 1:6

Porque Dios está en lo escondido haciendo malabares para que todas mis piezas encajen y para que Su plan triunfe. Y siempre va a triunfar, si Le dejo actuar en mi vida. Veo como Dios me pide que confíe en Él cuando no esté viendo resultados, aunque no esté viviendo lo que deseo o lo que Le pido, porque Él nunca deja de trabajar para cumplir Su plan conmigo, para cumplir Sus promesas.

"Y duerme y se levanta, de noche y de día, y la semilla brota y crece sin que él sepa cómo". Marcos 4:27

Dios no va a dejar de moverlo todo para que llegue a cumplir Su plan en mi. Le pido que me enseñe a fiarme realmente de Él, a entender que Su propósito no es el mío, sino que es aún más grande. A confiar en que mis sueños no son nada respecto a los que Él tiene pensados para mi.

Confío en que hará maravillas.

Solo tengo que ser paciente y no alejarme de Él.

"El Señor cumplirá su propósito en mí; Tu misericordia, oh Dios, es para siempre; No desampares la obra de tus manos". Salmos 138:8

just found out my cousin (who lives in England) is in the art department of a bunch of shows??? And she worked oN DOCTOR WHO? AND HAD LUNCH WITH DAVID TENNANT???? and she just told me so casually because she's interested in the art, not the show? I mean, excuse me? She worked on SHERLOCK???? FOR A WHOLE SEASON?? She worked on Peaky Blinders and Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones??? And probably other things because she has a shitty memory and according to her everything is a blur?? AND AT ONE POINT SHE WAS LIKE: "oh and have you ever heard of Neil Gaiman?" And I was trying not to scream, because yes, of course I've heard of Neil, he's only my favorite author, I've only read like all of his books multiple times, and if you say you worked on Good Omens or the Sandman I'm going to lose it completely. So I said "yeah I've read a couple of his books," -you know, like a liar- "what about him?" and she goes "well I worked on one of his shows and he's brilliant i just can't remember which one" and i go "w-what do you mean he's brilliant? You're.. you're talking about his writing... his writing is brilliant, right?" And she cheerfully says "oh no I don't read books, I ment he was really nice and brilliant when I talked to him" and i go "WHAT DID YOU TALK ABOUT WHAT DID YOU TALK ABOUT" and she thinks for a moment and goes "oh! BRICKS" WHAT IN THE WORLD YES NO THAT MAKES SENSE YOU GET TO WORK AND TALK WITH NEIL FUCKING GAIMAN AND YOU TALK ABOUT BRICKS?
