I want to know how did Dr teeth started to have a crush on Sam? Please and thank you

I personally see Teeth as the type of guy that just finds people attractive, like he’s a big ol’ pan inside and out. And, let’s be honest, Sam’s a cutie patootie. As soon as Teeth laid his eyes on him he was like “Hellloooooo nurse!” So it started off as less of a crush and more of Teeth being… well… Teeth.

It didn’t delve into crush territory until they properly got to know each other. Of course Sam didn’t want anything to do with that weirdo, but unfortunately for him, his foppish mannerisms and overly exaggerated reactions to Teeth’s flirting made him all the more irresistible to the good doctor. This went on for a while, Teeth flirting, Sam getting mad, and Teeth laughing at Sam getting mad at his flirting. Then I imagine at some point they do end up actually talking.

Sam is very surprised that he can hold a real conversation with Teeth, and Teeth, despite what others may think, does genuinely like Sam and respects his battle for culture. Even if he does disagree with it to an extent and thinks Sam should chill out a little. But he’s passionate and that’s something Teeth can get behind.

Through their conversations they realize that they actually have quite a few things in common, despite being from completely different worlds. They start hanging out more, preferably without the rest of the band on Sam’s part as he’s dubbed Teeth as the most tolerable of the group, and it just hits the two of them at once that they might have feelings for each other.

You may think Teeth wouldn’t care, being into free love and all that, but free love is far different from being in love. And Sam would be all freaked out that he, the preserver of all things dignified and righteous, would be enamored with Dr. Teeth!

Teeth goes on pretending like this whole thing doesn’t exist and acts the same around Sam, while Sam is screaming inside. Constantly.

I haven’t really thought about what would make them officially come to terms with their crushes and start going steady, but I imagine either Teeth would finally be like ‘screw it’ and tells Sam, or Sam ends up blurting everything out like the embarrassed mess that he is.

so i like to think that over a period of time of being romantic with Dr Teeth Sam starts developing a sort or pressure stim? he gets really used to the feeling of those stupid long arms of Dr Teeth’s around him and it becomes a sort of calming mechanism once Dr Teeth figures it out. Sam’ll be panicking about something or w/e and Teeth can just wrap an arm around him and his feathers stop puffing up he starts to relax and he takes a breath or two to calm down it grounds him very quickly

Sam. After he accidentally, and very loudly, declared his love to Teeth they were both completely wide-eyed and silent. So to break the unbearable tension Sam just grabs Teeth’s face and smONCH!

Listen. You cannot look me in they eye and say Teeth would never take advantage of his long arms and talented fingers to land a merciless sneak attack on Sam. While they’re at work.

Teeth. “Ya need any help with those feverish feathers, baby?

• Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch

Teeth. He just bursts into Sam’s office with take out boxes like, “Hungry?”

• Who was nervous and shy on the first date

Sam. He’s been out of the dating game for so long and is probably a little rusty, but Teeth doesn’t mind the slight awkwardness.

• Who kills/takes out the spiders

Teeth will try to take out the spider while Sam, without even looking, smacks it with a newspaper.

• Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk

realistic: his feathers fluff up when hes flustered or complimentednon-realistic but hilarious: he got a very visible brood patch when he had to incubate his eggs which in canon he has two eagletsHeart-crushing and awful: Eagles are known to mate for life and build their nest bigger each year they’re together. Sam is divorced imagine how that must have affected him emotionally and romantically he got his heart fucking crushed and he couldnt do a damn thing about itunrealistic, but i reject canon and substitute my own: that bird loves himself some good doctor HIGHKEY
