Ayyye I’m back! (For now lol) I finished my first semester yippee :D I finally got the time to draw once again before the next semester starts :/

They are both young and love to experiment with emotions and symbolism. They love to be transgressive and make their audience feel uncomfortable or impaled with intricate plots full of drama and unpredictable and powerful plot twists. They love to push the boundaries of audience expectations and scale everything to unimaginable levels...

Both are experimental but no less incredible for that...

Paula - Disney

She love the simple and extravagant even if it is silly, empty and repetitive... Their formula has worked many times and their career is built on those stories and they believe that their formula is fireproof. They are comfortable within that formula and do not intend to leave that comfort zone... They are stuck until they learn to let go and believe that the children for whom they think they do magic are not stupid...

Besides, the movie/dream with colorful musicals already worked for them... Why not make the same silly musical with other colors another 1000 more times?!

Janelle - Pixar

They have been under the shadow and protection of "Paula" for a long time, but they are talented and can do great things.

They know what their audience needs, they know how to do wonderful things, they just need "Paula" to trust their strategy... Because even if it's not a colorful musical, she can handle powerful plots.

Pixar Unveils "Dream Productions" Spin-Off Slated For 2025 At D23 Expo

It has been a very busy weekend for the Disney/Pixar teams. Fans were treated to a lot of news, sneak peeks, trailers and star-studded presentations at the first day of the D23 fan event on Friday.

The three-hour-long showcase offered news and reveals about the studio’s upcoming animated features Disney’s Moana 2 and Frozen 3, Zootopia 2 Pixar’s Hoppers, Elio, The Incredibles 3 and Toy Story 5, Pixar Animation Television's first original series Win Or Lose and the upcoming Inside Out TV series "Dream Productions".

Pixar chief Pete Docter greeted a cheerful crown and revealed some exciting news about the studio’s blockbuster sequel, Inside Out 2, which has grossed over $1.561 billion worldwide.

Not surprisingly, a Disney+ spinoff series called Dream Productions got announced. Docter said the shorts are set in the studio where Riley’s dream are made every night and shared a brief clip where Joy gave a tour of the dream studio with all the emotions hard at work to create a big dream for the young girl. The four-episode show is created by Paula Persimmon (Turning Red) who voices of Paula Pell, written and directed by Mike Jones (Luca) and produced by Jaclyn Simon (Soul), and features the voices of Richard Ayoade, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Alli Maki, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black and Phyllis Smith.

Xeni & Paula Human Version + mini headcanons Part 2

This is a sketch of Paula, a little more "realistic"... Because in the series they make us understand that she already has much more experience than Xeni, so she rejects all the ideas that he wants to share. Perhaps, Paula is in her early 40's

Here's one more sketch of Xeni annoying Paula, perhaps reminding her that she's much smaller. Or by reminding him that his aunt is the CEO... Her Boss.

I know I already made a drawing of Paula with the original concept and making her look older... But I still love the idea of ​​her being just a couple of years older than Xeni, that he still knows it and that he still teases her anyway and even harder...

And here I tried to make a comic based on my Headcanon that I made in my first post.

That Headcanon said that Xeni was a fervent admirer of Paula when he was very young... And that over time, he decided to stop admiring her because her work declined.

And after having carved out a career based on his cold and distant character to what is not risky or "Indie". In addition to having a reputation for being contemptuous of what is popular, generic and what is not unique... Even of being much rougher with Paula, (casually, the only director who still has that fame).

Therefore, it is terrible that "someone" would have shouted what he did not want to confess.

He LOVED Paula's work. And it is still his guilty taste...

My Headcanon of this post is: Xeni is the kind of friend who will let you know if you are wrong about something, he will correct you (many times with the intention of annoying you), sometimes he will appropriate your personal space, if he scolds you often it is because he is worried about you, the line that separates YOUR THINGS from HIS, it DOESN'T exist... He will take away your sweets, coffes or desserts, just because he wants... Anyway, it's not that he minds bothering you about everything.

And Paula's Headcanon is that she would be the kind of friend who will almost be your caregiver and almost a second mother. She doesn't usually get upset that often, but when she does, she'll act on impulse... She's the one carrying candy, wipes, and paper in case anyone needs them... She's going to comfort you until you stop crying, she's going to hug you and tell you that everything will be okay.
