Paul Aron x Fem!Reader Paul is sometimes shy about asking to touch you. He just wants to make sure he never assumes consent.
Warning: One (1) word in Estonian idk I tried. Mentions (and innocent touching) of boobies *gasp*
1.1k words hihihi
“Kallis?” [Sweetheart?]
You lifted your head from the class notes in front of you to see your boyfriend, Paul, standing at the door of your home office. He looked nervous, as if he wasn’t sure if he was allowed to be in the room.
“Paul? Did you need something?” You hoped that softening your voice would help him not be as nervous. Having been dating for just over half a year, you were quickly becoming aware of some of his ‘tells’. Things like how his nostrils would flare a little if he wanted to laugh but thought it’d be inappropriate. Or how he would be extra nervous when he wanted to ask you something because he didn’t want to worry you with things while you were doing your coursework for uni.
“I uh, I can come back later if you’re busy. It wasn’t really important.” Paul stammered a little as he answered you. It intrigued you immensely when Paul got shy, because it was such a difference to his very outgoing personality when he’s around his friends and teammates.
“Please tell me what’s wrong? I promise you’re not disturbing or interrupting me.” You held your hand out towards him, inviting him to walk further into the room. He was careful as he walked towards you, like he didn’t want to disturb the research papers you had on the desk. You stood up as he reached you and lifted a hand to caress his face.
“What did you need of me, My Love?” You kept your voice soft and your touch gentle.
Paul lifted a hand and gripped your hand that was cradling his face. “I just- I really missed you.”
A smile found its way onto your face. You finally realised that he was nervous because he wanted to be around you but didn’t want to distract you from your studies. Gently, you guided him to sit in the chair you were just in. Paul tried to protest that it was your chair and that he could find another one to sit on but you were having none of it. You sat down on his lap and told him that this way you could get some of your work done while still being around him. He settled pretty quickly after that.
Admittedly it did take you a while to notice that Paul hadn’t moved his arms from the armrests of your chair,. So when you did notice, you were just a little confused.
“Are you alright Darling?” You asked over your shoulder.
“Uh huh.” He replied.
“Are you sure? Because you haven’t moved your arms from the chair once.” You turned as much as you could to look at him face to face. His face was flushed a light pink colour as you twisted around on his lap.
“I just wasn’t sure if you wanted me to touch you.”
“Why would you think that?” You watched as his face slowly became more and more red.
“I don’t think you ever said if you were okay with it and I didn't want to just assume that it would be alright to.” He moved his eyes away from yours. “I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.”
Barely stopping yourself from cooing at his adorably red cheeks, you twisted back around and leant back so you were resting on his torso. Grabbing both of his hands, you moved them to hug you around your midriff. Adjusting your head to look at his face, you whispered and peppered kisses to the underside of his jaw.
“I don’t think it’s possible for me to be uncomfortable when you touch me. You're always so careful and gentle. If anything I want you to touch me more.”
“But what if I accidentally overstep?”
“I will tell you. But for now I want you to do something for me.”
“Anything.” He left a shy, barely-even-there kiss behind your ear.
“I want you to hold my boobs.”
Paul was stunned into silence. Had he heard you correctly? You wanted him to do what?
“You- Me- What?” He couldn’t get the words to exit his mouth.
“I want you to hold my boobs. For two reasons. One, to prove that I trust you to touch me and be more casually intimate, and two, because believe it or not I actually find it very comforting. However, I need both my hands to finish typing up my class notes, which means I can’t hold them myself.” You placed a kiss on his jawline before sitting up a little so you could finish typing your notes. You felt as Paul also sat up a bit, presumably to keep the contact between your back and his chest.
Just before you were about to set in and start on finishing your notes, Paul’s hands began playing with the hem of your shirt.
“Can I lift it Kallis?” He whispered.
“Of course you can My Love. You can do whatever you need, to make it easier if you’d like.”
“Thank you.” He said, nuzzling his face into the back of your neck and leaving little feather-light kisses. His hands moved underneath your shirt and shyly travelled up your body before resting briefly at the apex of your breasts. Seeing as you had given him verbal permission, Paul decided he could easier grab hold of your breasts without your bra in the way.
You hummed in acknowledgement when he mumbled that he was going to unhook the offending item of your clothing, focusing as much as you could on your notes. You knew that as much as the skin on skin contact was comforting for you, it was also incredibly important for Paul because it allowed him to test how far he was willing to go. He could set the pace knowing that if he accidentally took it too far, he could rely on you to tell him when to stop.
You sat there on his lap for roughly 2 hours, Paul’s chin resting on your shoulder. Every now and then, Paul would give your breasts a gentle squeeze, making sure not to be too harsh. Occasionally, when you finished a paragraph of notes, you would give Paul a peck on the nose, his smile making your own smile grow with each kiss.
Neither you nor Paul moved once you were done, except to lean a bit further back in the chair to be a little more comfortable. You were far too engrossed with the feeling of each other to even briefly entertain the idea of moving from where you sat. Too wrapped up in the love you had for each other.
It was Paul who eventually whispered to you, breaking the silence.
“Can I do this again tomorrow?”
You huffed out a tiny laugh, reaching up to run your fingers through his hair as best you could.
“Oh my sweet boy, you don’t even have to ask.”

Hello!!! First of all, I love your writings♡ Second of all, May I please request a fanfic of Paul Aron with reader who's like bestfriends with his sister and reader is like unsure of how to feel about Paul's crush on her cause yk hes got a bit of playboy vibes to him, but Paul's actually in love with her and can it lead to eventual smut?
I'll give you my first born for this fic 🙏💗
playboy- p.aron
summary: you've been weary about paul and his advances, a confrontation changes everything.
pairing: paul aron x reader
a/n: no need to give me your first born :)

“Looking good, Y/n,” Paul winked at you. He was one smug bastard.
You rolled your eyes, not giving him the time of day (for once), and his smirk dropped.
“Getting sick of me?” he mused.
“I’ve been sick of you for a while Paul, you just didn’t care before,” you scoffed. You weren’t sick of Paul, you never would be. You’d been… weary of his advances for years. Paul had more than a reputation. He was known for hooking up with girls and discarding them, the typical playboy you had avoided your whole life. You were getting a bit annoyed with the fact that he was still trying to get with you, even though you were his little sisters’ best friend, someone who wouldn’t leave his life if you two broke up. The worst part? You’d overheard him speaking with one of his friends. He was talking about what he wanted with you.
“She’s so hot, you don’t understand. I’d do anything to get with her.”
And what else were you supposed to think? There’s no way he actually liked you for you, just for your body.
He frowned. This wasn’t you. He was used to playful banter and flirty smiles. He was used to ending up with either a headache or heartache from being around you all night (usually heartache when he saw you going off with some other guy). He liked it that way. He liked that he had your attention, even when you didn’t want to give it to him. He liked that he annoyed you. A negative emotion is emotion all the same, and it meant you cared. He cared a lot. He wanted you, more than anyone, he wanted you.
He grabbed your arm, holding you back from walking on with the group. “What’s up with you?”
You pushed him off, trying to walk on, but he got a grip on your waist this time, and he was holding on tight. “What do you mean?” you asked.
“You won’t talk to me, you barely look at me, and you’ve been in a mood all night,” he listed. “What’s wrong?”
“You should stop flirting with me,” you told him. “Some people aren’t into being used for sex and then discarded. Go find your casual hook-up with someone else-”
“Stop, what do you mean?” he questioned.
“I heard you talking with Ollie. A-about me.”
His face drained of colour. “So then… you heard.”
“Yeah,” you scoffed.
“And you don’t feel the same?”
You stared at him for a moment. “What do you mean?”
He stared back, equally confused. “What? You heard me saying what I said, yes?”
“I didn’t hear everything-” you admitted. He slapped a hand over his face.
“Y/n I was telling them I was in love with you, that’s what I was doing!” he stressed. “And if you don’t feel the same that’s alright, I just-”
You stopped him, actually clapping a hand over his mouth.
“Ouch,” he said, muffled. You ripped your hands off of him, apologies falling from your lips, he chuckled and took your hands, putting them by your sides, and wrapping his hands around your waist. “I’m fine,” he told you. “I-”
“I li-love-like you too!” you blurted out. He chuckled and gently pressed his lips to yours. It felt… right. He was soft and gentle, but there was no doubt in your mind that he wanted you. You pulled back. “This is a relationship, right?”
He nodded.
“So no more flirting with random girls we meet, yeah?”
He pressed a kiss to your cheek. “I only did that to get your attention.”
You rolled your eyes. “Such an idiot.” “Your idiot,” he smirked.

Bed Chem (PA17)
Paul Aron x fem!reader
Summary: when in desperate need for good food, get a cute guy's phone number.
Warnings: fluff, maybe some minor smut, cursing,
Wordcount:
Masterlist, Short n'Sweet Series
Coast. Sun. The Italian beauty surrounding you in a way you hoped would stay in your memory forever. Friends around you that you wished would stay by your side forever. The stones under your feet so soft and soothing in a way it could only happen in the summer.
Y/n looked up from her book, watching out for her friends every once in a while to see if they were still both alive in the ocean. Seeing them have fun and play mermaids made her smile. A feeling of warmth spreading through her chest that only they could make her feel. The shadow of the cliff next to their secret spot was providing her the medicine she needed most from a headache forming from the heat.
They were in Italy for a few days already. Mostly in the water or taking pictures or eating. It was what they were there for. Getting time off from university and living life a little more fully. They have been friends ever since kindergarten and with summer being the only time they could see each other, they spent their whole time together.
She could hear voices talking on top of the cliff and soon enough a body landed in the water. Breaking the surface with a big splash and scaring the three girls with the sudden movement they didn’t expect. Abby let out a loud scream of shock and Lola only laughed at her reaction. Not as faced by the action as her friends, Y/n stayed back. Observing rather than interfering. She didn’t know where this would go but if it was good, she didn’t wanna ruin it.
Watching the interaction from afar, she had a clearer view on how many people were in the water. 4 guys and her two friends.
“I’m sorry if we scared you, but we called out,” he said, apologizing and defending himself at the same time. Holding his hands up in defense.
“Don’t worry, just a small shock,” Abby said, waving his guilt off and assuring him that they were alright.
“Isn’t it dangerous to jump from so far high up without knowing where you’ll land?” Lola interfered in their conversation. Bugging in with her motherly protective nature.
“We do this very year, it’s fine,” another guy said. He had thick blond hair and seemed rather muscular. The corner of his lips pulling up slightly as he talked.
“You are here every year?” Lola asked, her eyes widen and hope flickering through her pupils. They all nodded, confused at her sudden happiness. “We’ve been trying to find a good dinner place that isn’t already booked out every night but also tastes good. Maybe you have some recommendations?”
“Sure,” the blonde answered. “You’ve got a phone with you? We could send you some addresses if you want to.”
“That would be amazing,” Abby said. She was already starving for great food ever since they arrived, hearing the possibility of great Italian food was all that she needed to get out of the water. The blonde followed her.
They walked over to where Y/n sat, who was still watching, Abby taking the girls phone and opening the contacts. She held it to the guy and waited for him to take it before she glanced down at her friends scowling face. Being the only completely single friend, it was always her phone that was used for guys’ phone numbers. ‘It could be someone good between all the other assholes,’ Lola explained the first time they did it. It hadn’t worked once.
He gave it back to Abby, before looking at the other girl too. “Hey.” He smiled at her. The way he looked at her making her face heat up and her chest churn.
“Hi,” she said back, squinting her eyes from the sun and smiling back awkwardly.
God was he hot.
Abby gave her the phone back before leaving the pair to their own devices and jumping back into the water.
“I’m Y/n,” she introduced herself. The least she could do now that she already had his number in her phone.
“Paul,” he said back, shaking her hand that she had stuck out to him.
“Paul, come on. We’re doing another round,” one of his friends shouted their way, making them both look at him waving for Paul to walk over.
“I’ll see you,” Paul said before hurrying off.
“What are you doing now?” Abby asked, laying down next to her friend on the bed.
They were back in their beach house, waiting for Paul to send them the locations.
“Nothing,” Y/n answered, looking at her phone in hopes of the boy texting her. He didn’t.
“Maybe just ask him,” Lola proposed from the table she was seated at, her mirror in front of her and make up strewn around the surface.
“I’m not texting him again,” Y/n said. “One time is more than enough.”
A simple, ‘hey, it’s Y/n from the cliff today. Got any good dinner places for us yet?’
Not her text, not her confidence.
Abby stole her phone after she wondered too long about what to write for her liking. It was always about taking risks for her. Even on the cost of others.
In the next second, her phone lit up, signaling a new message incoming. Looking at the screen, the two girls on the bed squealed.
Paul had answered.
‘Hey, got a few of our favourites for you.’
And then 4 links to websites of restaurants near them. The three of them looked through them, after sending a ‘thank you’ and eagerly imagining the delicious food they will hopefully soon taste.
Another text from him, when they were on the second website, looking through the menu and prices.
‘Maybe we could take y’all out, a little tour guide around restaurants if you will ;)’
“Holy shit,” Lola said, smiling at the pop-up. “Holy shit. Answer him!”
“What am I supposed to say?” Y/n panicked as she clicked on the text icon.
“Say yes!” Abby urged her, shaking her by her shoulders in excitement. “Maybe he’ll take you out all alone tomorrow.”
“Abby, calm down,” Y/n said, blushing. A deep shade of red creeping up her face. “I barely know him.”
“The way you looked at him said enough,” Lola joined in on the teasing.
“I didn’t look at him in any way.”
“Sure, you didn’t,” they both said at the same time, rolling their eyes in the process. “But then there was they way he looked at you.”
“He didn’t look at me in any way!” She kept on trying to make them shut up.
“Yeah, right.”
“I bet he’s good in bed,” Abby said, never having a filter over what should stay in her head and what was appropriate to be shared with the world.
“Oh my god, stop it!” Y/n let out frustrated, letting her head fall on the mattress.
“Just admit that you think he’s cute.” They didn’t receive an answer, but a groan instead. Probably an eye roll too. Still she couldn’t get the pictures out of her head. With him hovering over her, his arms brushing over her skin so delicately and yet so desperately. Could he be the exception?
His lips on her hips, on her collarbone, on her own. His voice whispering in her ear in such a filthy manner. What would he sound like the morning after? Would his voice be raspy? His accent thicker than it already was? Would his body feel softer, more relaxed?
She imagined their bodies moving together, almost melting into one. Them laughing when something didn’t go the way they planned. Her laughing at the feel of his hair against her bare skin.
A feeling of warmth spreading through her body that only he could make her feel. With his sweet voice whispering in her ear. His hands on her waist, on her face, on her thighs.
‘We would love to.’

Deliver me from darkness
Poly! The Lost Boys x GN! Reader
A/n: This piece is very special to my heart. This is for everyone who felt self-hatred before or like they didn’t deserve to be loved (me included). Of course, these issues are not so easy to solve, but I hope this little thing can make at least a few people feel better. Please, if you know someone who has these thought, show them kindness, a few caring words really can go a long way.
Word count: ~3.2k
Warning: depressive thoughts, feelings of self-hatred, of not being enough, self-isolation, angst with a happy ending
Prompt: “Nobody’s seen you in days.”
Song recommendation: In The Androgynous Dark by Brambles (I know it doesn't fit the vibe of the movie, but it's what I was listening to while writing.)
The fluttering of wings infiltrated the quiet of your bedroom. A slight push, and your windows slowly opened, bringing with them the scent of the warm summer night. Your heavy curtains that kept the room dark for the last couple of days got caught in the breeze, and in the small gap between them a sliver of moonlight stretched across your floor. It was soon blocked out, however, as a familiar figure stepped into the room, pausing for a second as he noticed the lump of blankets on the bed. When all he could hear was soft breathing, he made his way over there, his footsteps echoing loudly in the stillness.
You knew who he was the second he entered, the smell of cigarette smoke clinging to him like a second skin. And as you felt the bed dip behind you and a hand on your shoulder above all the layers, you could faintly make out a scent underneath, one that was all him, so indescribably David.
“Nobody’s seen you in days, darling. We were starting to get worried. I came to check on you.” He spoke with such tenderness, as if afraid that you would shatter any second. It was a tone so uncharacteristic of him, but it made your chest ache with longing. When you didn’t answer, he continued. “Can you say something? Just so I know you’re alright?”
You wanted to scoff at that. You were obviously not alright, and he could clearly see that as well.
“Why did you come here, David?” Your voice sounded rough and unfamiliar, not having been used in a while, and although you couldn’t see it, his eyebrows furrowed in concern at the sound.
“Like I said, we were worried. You didn’t come to meet us on the boardwalk, and none of us heard from you in a while. We even went to ask Michael if he knew anything.”
As he was explaining, you slowly tuned him out, not wanting to hear anymore, not wanting to listen to his concern. It only made you feel more miserable. When he stopped, you spoke up again.
“You shouldn’t have come here,” you whispered. Sensing his confusion you added, “I didn’t want you to see me like this.”
David’s heart clenched at how pathetic you sounded, and it only made him more sure of himself.
“Well, I’m not going anywhere, and neither are they.”
You heard whispering as more people stepped in through your window. They were probably waiting outside for a sign to come in, not wanting to overwhelm you all at once. The thought caused your chest to ache even more.
“We won’t let you suffer alone, sugar,” Marko declared.
“We’re here to take care of you, dollface,” Paul added.
“Whatever you need,” Dwayne finished.
You felt tears welling up in your eyes as you finally made a move, slowly turning over and looking at them. Their heart broke when they took in you appearance. You hair was a mess, your skin pale and tired, your eyes puffy and red from crying, fresh tears running down your cheeks. You looked sad and exhausted, and all they wanted was to take the pain away from you, to see your sunny smile once again.
Paul was the first to move. “Oh, honey,” he sighed as he came over, scooping you up and into his lap, enveloping you in his arms. You sniffled as you buried your face into his chest. You felt more hands on you, Marko draping himself over you from the other side, and Dwayne sneaking his arms around all three of you. Not feeling like he had any space left in the group hug, David opted to link his fingers with yours, holding your hand and caressing your knuckles gently.
Feeling all this love around you, you broke down. This time, crying your heart out actually felt cathartic, not full of bitterness and sorrow like the past few days. As if their mere presence, the smallest sign that they cared, that someone cared at all opened the floodgates and washed away all the miserable thoughts you bombarded yourself with while no one was watching.
Their love was overwhelming. It’s what drove you to lock yourself away in a dark moment, the small voice in your head slowly poisoning your mind with doubt. Not feeling like you deserved any of it, your thoughts spiraled, constantly questioning why they chose you, hurling insult after insult towards yourself until you felt like breaking. After a while, there was just numbness, having tired yourself out with trying to withstand the waves of self-hate. But it was also their love that drove the darkness away, and as your sobs quietened down, so did the small voice in the back of your head. When you lifted your head, your eyes meeting David’s over the limbs and shoulders, all you saw was affection and reassurance, and after a long few days, you finally started to feel like you were going to be alright.
When they felt you shift, the boys unwrapped themselves from around you. Your heart swelled as you saw the tear tracks on Paul’s cheeks, moved that he cared enough to cry for you. You reached over and wiped them down, not wanting to see him sad anymore. You couldn’t help but notice that Marko’s eyes also glistened suspiciously, but he turned away, rubbing at his own face in hopes you wouldn’t see.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Dwayne’s gentle voice drew your attention.
“No, at least not now,” you shook your head, your voice hoarse from all the crying. “Maybe I’ll be ready to talk about it later, but right now I just want to be with you guys.”
He nodded in understanding. “We’ll be here when you’re ready.”
You took his hand and gave it a thankful squeeze, your words failing you. He smiled back at you warmly.
“Well then,” David spoke up, his gloved hand still holding your own. “How about we help make you feel better, kitten? Come with me, let’s take a warm shower while the boys set everything up.”
He was already pulling you with him, out of your cocoon of blankets, out of the bed you barely left in the past few days. The only time you got up was to get something to eat from the kitchen or dragging yourself to use the bathroom, your limited amount of willpower only able to do so much. Now you let him guide you out the door, sending one last glance behind him at the others, silently communicating as you’ve seen them do so many times before, and you couldn’t help but wonder what he meant by ‘set everything up’.
He brought you to the bathroom, letting go of your hand to turn on the faucet, even pulling off his glove to check the temperature. When he was satisfied, he started making his way towards the door to give you some privacy. A sudden desperation clenched your lungs, and the next instant you were holding onto his hand tight. His face mirrored your own surprise, both of you caught off-guard by your fast movements. You felt your stomach flip, anxiety gradually turning into embarrassment, and you had to drop your gaze to the floor.
“Could you… would you stay with me?” You had to force the words out of your mouth. Shame crept into your mind about how pathetic you sounded, but after the last few days the thought of being alone for just a second sounded even more unbearable. After a long moment, gentle fingers cupped your cheek, the chill from his bare skin creeping into your own. David brought your gaze back up at him, and every little doubt disappeared at the understanding that radiated from his cool blue eyes.
“Of course I’ll stay, kitten, if that’s what you need.”
A smile turned the corners of your lips upward, a small one, but a smile nonetheless.
“There you are,” he teased softly. “That’s my darling I like to see.”
When your smile grew even brighter, he looked visibly relieved, feeling glad that he could finally pull you out of that suffocating cocoon of darkness bit by bit. He sat down on the closed lid of the toilet, making himself comfortable. You looked at him fondly a moment longer, letting the bathroom fill with steam from the hot water, fogging up the mirror. You wondered if he was feeling warm in all those layers as you turned your back at him and started peeling off your own clothes.
Your embarrassment returned when you felt his eyes on your bare back, your shirt dropping to the floor, soon joined by your pants and underwear. You felt completely bare standing in front of him in every sense of the word. He’s seen you naked before, they all have, but this was the first time you’ve been so vulnerable. You didn’t share your dark thought with people, not wanting to hear their pity, not wanting to seem as weak as you felt sometimes. But for the first time, he’s seen your everything, all your flaws and doubts and fears. It was a whole new type of nakedness, and it made you self-conscious. However, when you turned around to face him, all you saw was love in his eyes, and just like that, baring your soul didn’t feel so scary anymore. You knew this was a huge step, a new, deeper kind of trust was forming between you, and it made you feel safer than ever.
You stepped under the warm spray of water, not bothering to close the shower curtains all the way. You didn’t feel the need for it anymore, you had nothing to hide, and in your current state, you couldn’t care less if water got all over your floor anyway. Slowly, the tension in your muscles started to ease up, the hot shower washing away any remnants of the dark cloud that’s been festering in your mind. And you were pretty sure that David’s presence just a few feet away had a lot to do with that too. Just knowing that he’s there was enough.
As you got out of the shower, feeling refreshed and warm after the grime and sadness of the past few days have been washed away, David was already waiting for you with a towel. He wrapped you up, rubbing over your arms and back as you leaned into him, burying your nose against his collar and breathing in his scent.
“I’m gonna bring you some clothes, okay? I’ll be right back.” He seemed just as reluctant to let go as you were, but the shower helped, and you nodded, signaling that you would be alright to stay alone for a few minutes.
As he opened the door to leave, the sound of Paul and Marko bickering filtered into the bathroom along with clattering and something crashing. David and you shared a look.
“It’s okay, go and sort it out. I’ll be fine,” you reassured him. He let out a sigh as left to see what the hell those two were up to. Before you closed the door behind him, you could hear his chastising voice, followed with Marko’s complaining, and you cracked a smile.
By the time David came back, you’ve already dried you hair and was just sitting around, waiting for him. Accepting the pajamas he brought you, you dropped the towel and started getting dressed. This time, the feeling of his eyes on your body stirred something inside you, but you pushed it aside. There will be time for that later, when you didn’t feel so raw, when the memory of your pain wasn’t so fresh.
After you finished, he took your hand again and guided you back into your room. You were amazed at how different it felt now, as if someone sucked out all the darkness and negativity while you were in the shower. You had a feeling that Dwayne had something to do with that, as he was just finishing up with piling every pillow he found in the house on your bed. He had changed the sheets, and made a little nest from pillows and blankets that you honestly couldn’t wait to sink into. You also noticed that all the trash you accumulated the last few days and couldn’t bother to clean up, every single food wrapper, empty water bottle and used tissue disappeared. He even found some candles god knows where and lit them up around the room, creating a truly cozy atmosphere. The curtains were fully open now, the balmy summer night air seeping in through the open windows.
Dwayne raised his head when he heard your footsteps, and by the way his eyes wandered from you to David, you were sure he felt that something had changed between you two. Guided by a sudden urge, you went over to him and wrapped your arms around him, burying your face into his chest, wanting to reassure him that you were better now. You felt him hugging you back, but you couldn’t see him exchanging a look with David over your head, the leader sending him a silent answer to his unspoked question. He smiled at last, satisfied with what he heard, and finally letting himself really sink into your embrace.
The moment was broken by the sound of more footsteps and bickering back and forth, stopping at the door, then everything went silent.
“Babe?” Paul’s voice was hesitant, but as you unwrapped yourself from Dwayne, turned around and smiled at them, all his worry seemed to disappear. A huge grin lit up both his and Marko’s faces, and quickly discarding what was in their hands, they were on you the next second, wrapping you in a tight hug from both sides, almost knocking you over.
“It’s so good to see you smiling again, sugar,” Marko laughed into your ear from behind, while Paul peppered kisses all over your face, causing you to burst out in giggles as well. You couldn’t help but feel your heart grow twice in size, so full of love for these four. A few tears escaped your eyes, and hearing you sniffle softly, they instantly let you go, fussing over you with panicked faces.
“It’s okay, guys, these are happy tears,” you smiled, your voice thick from all the emotions you felt at once. Paul moved to wipe them away from your cheeks, just like you had done to him before. The moment he was out of the way, Marko pulled you against him, his fingers digging into you as he held you tight, his forehead resting on your shoulder.
“We were so worried when you didn’t show up for days. You could’ve gotten hurt for all we knew,” he mumbled against you. “And when we came to check on you and saw that you really were hurting and didn’t tell us I couldn’t… I felt to useless. I felt like I failed you.” His voice cracked at the end, and a fresh bout of tears escaped your eyes as you tightened your hold on him, your fingers sneaking into his hair and stroking his head.
“I’m sorry I made you worry. But you are not useless, you hear me? Do not blame for yourself for this. I should have come to you when I first started slipping into darkness. But that doesn’t matter anymore. What matters is that you are here right now, and that’s more than enough,” your voice started to waver. “I love you all so much. And even though I might have some similarly dark moments in the future, I want you to know that you make me so incredibly happy, and I couldn’t be luckier to be loved by all of you.”
By now, tears were flowing freely from your eyes again. However, these weren’t tears of sadness anymore, but of healing. It took a few more minutes for Marko to let go of you, and as you looked into his eyes after retreating from his embrace, they were as red as your own. You sent him a watery smile, and swore to yourself deep within your heart that you would do everything in your power to not make him cry again.
“So,” you started, not wanting to talk about sadness anymore that night, “what were you guys doing in my kitchen?” you peered over Marko’s shoulder to discover two big trays they discarded on top of your dresser when they came in. They were practically overflowing with stuff.
“Oh, right,” Paul picked them up and brought them over one by one, setting them on the coffee table they brought in from the living room. “We got some snacks and some takeout, and we even made hot choco.” He looked very proud at that. “We would have marshmallows in it if someone hadn’t forgotten about them.”
“Hey, I told you already, that was your job,” Marko countered.
“No, it wasn’t!”
“Guys, it’s fine,” you chuckled. “It’s going to be just as good without marshmallows.”
“No, it’s not,” Paul pouted. “I wanted everything to be perfect for you.”
Your heart swooned. “I appreciate it, Paulie. That fact that you guys did all this for me,” you motioned over your little cozy setup of pillows and blankets and snacks, “is already more than enough.”
He seemed to relax at that, his ever present smile sneaking back onto his face.
“And there’s one more thing,” he pulled out a VHS of your favourite movie, having gotten it from the video store earlier. He put it in the player under your small TV, and as the opening credits started to roll, he pulled you with him onto the bed, positioning you into his lap, your back against his chest, cuddling up to you.
“Dude, don’t hog our sweetheart,” Marko complained, already next to you and draping your legs over his lap.
Dwayne handed you a mug of hot choco before settling down on your other side, taking one of your hands in his. Not having any more room right around you, David draped himself over the foot of your bed, resting his head against one of your pillows. He didn’t mind it, the precious moments the two of you shared in the bathroom earlier satiated his need for your attention.
Not long after everyone settled, right before the movie really started to pick up, you felt Dwayne gently squeeze your hand. Glancing up at him, you already found him looking at you, his eyes filled with fondness.
“If you feel like you’re starting to sink again, just tell us,” he whispered. “We’ll be there. We will always be there.”
You heart swelled at his words, nodding that you understood. And you did. You knew that after this night, you bond with them will be even stronger, your trust even deeper, and your love even more all-consuming.

⋆ The 15 Year Problem Masterlist ⋆
⇠ Go Back & Read Chapter 1
"One room please," Dean said, as he plopped down his credit card onto the desk in front of the motel worker: a big grin on his face.
The worker looked at him tiredly and picked up the card. Looking at the name on the card, he looked at Dean, who maintained the same smile. "John Paul Jones?" He asked, his voice matching the tiredness in his eyes. "Like the dude from Led Zeppelin?"
"I get that a lot," Dean stated, trying to sound convincing, despite the motel worker probably not needing to be as he looked tired enough as it is. The worker nodded and started putting Dean's information into the computer; Dean swayed back and forth on his heels, looking around the motel lobby, not enjoying the awkward silence that was between the two. "It's a good thing I'm a Zepp fan," he added, a bit of humor in his voice, as he attempted to make awkward small talk with the man.
"Huh uh," the worker mumbled, not seeming interested in having any sort of conversation with Dean, as he was trying his best to concentrate on what he was doing, as the lack of sleep and pulling all-nighters the last couple of nights was starting to catch up to him in this moment.
Dean started to get slightly nervous, as the worker seemed to be taking a little bit more time than usual to be placing the information into the computer. "Is there a problem with the card?" Dean asked, after the motel worker started making a face that looked similar to confusion.
The worker shook his head. "Nah man. Just tired. It's my third night shift in a row and it's been a killer. Can barely keep my fucking eyes open. But I'm thankful to be doing anything at least. You're the first person I've seen in days, since the regulars haven't even come by." Dean decided not to ask about who or what the regulars were, but he would be lying if he wasn't the least bit curious.
"Surprising," Dean said. "Thought you'd get more on-going business being right on the highway like this. I mean, I've been to Tulsa a few times, and it's always pretty lively, even this time of night."
The man scoffed, almost chuckling at his words. "People don't like motels like they used to. They rather stay at the Holiday Inn down the street. Apparently, motels give people the creeps now," he said, rolling his eyes. "Too much shadiness I guess for people."
"I've stayed at more motels than I can count, and uh, they basically feel like home to me. They've never once given me the creeps," Dean told him, partially telling the truth, as he has stayed at plenty of motels over the years that have had questionable stains and clientele more times than he could count.
The worker nodded, handing Dean back his card. "Alright, we have one room available with a queen," he said.
Dean gave him a semi-puzzled look, unsure how true that really was, as the worker just said that he was the only person he's seen in a few days, and the parking lot was essentially empty besides his and who he assumed to be this man's car. "Nothing with two beds?" Dean asked. He didn't mind sharing a bed with you, but he wanted to get two to be safe, as he was afraid that he'd somehow hurt you in the middle night if he had one of his PTSD style nightmares he occasionally got, more often than he'd like to admit.
"Look, I have one room left. And that one room has one bed that you're either going to have to share with your guest, or one of you is sleeping on the floor," his voice had no hint of tiredness anymore.
"One bed it is," Dean said, his lips forming into a fake smile.
"And you're in room three," the worker smiled, handing Dean the room key.
After getting off the phone with your boyfriend, you hit your head repeatedly against the headrest, frustrated that you had let him get to you again. He was hours away, and yet, he had managed to re-anger you, which was something that you were close to getting rid of during your nice and peaceful drive here.
In addition to your re-anger, you were minutes away from meeting someone new, and there was a part of you that felt bad for Dean, because being angry and mean was the last thing you wanted as your first impression. "Okay, you got this," you whispered to yourself, taking a few breaths before exiting your truck.
Walking out of the motel lobby, Dean started thinking of ways in which he was going to break the cliche news to you, as a one bed for two strangers seemed like something that came straight out of a chick flick or romance novel. "So bad news, we have to share a bed because for some reason despite the motel parking lot being empty as fuck, there was only one room that had a single bed in it," he thought to himself, cocking his head, thinking how saying that to you might work. Then again, he didn't want you thinking that he got a room with a single bed on purpose because you were a chick, and hoping to get lucky. Then again, he certainly wasn't against it...Then again, Sam told him that you had a boyfriend and you were off-limits.
As he started walking toward the room to put his stuff inside and examine the room, he looked at the parking lot, and noticed another vehicle had pulled into the lot since he had come into the motel; and it was parked a few spaces away from Baby. It was a Generation Seven, F150, in a brownish beige color that looked to be in brand new condition.
And that's when he saw you, or at least he hoped it was you, pulling out a large duffel back from the truck bed, that seemed to be a little beat up.
He started walking toward you, making a mental note to introduce himself just far enough way, because he wasn't sure how quick to the draw you were.
You sighed, grabbing your duffel, and slung it over your shoulder, as you were mentally preparing yourself to meet someone new. But you were tired, angry, and a little bit hungry; and all you really wanted to do right now was take a scolding hot shower and hit the pillow face first, instead of making awkward small talk.
"Hey, you must be Y/N," you heard a male voice say from a few feet away from you. Closing your truck bed, you noticed a blonde-haired man, who appeared to be a little over six feet tall, wearing a flannel and denim jacket similar to you, walking in your direction. This must be Dean, you thought.
"And you must be Dean," you said, when he was just a few feet in front of you. As he stood there, he leaned his arm on your truck bed, and stared at you with a smile that could easily melt the iciness that was inside your heart; you hoped that you weren't blushing. You're here to do a job, and you have a boyfriend, you told yourself.
"Nice truck," he complimented, as he patted the side. "Gen seven?" He questioned, but his tone insinuated that he already knew the model; he just wanted to see if you knew. And of course you did, as this truck was one that you had practically re-built over the course of a single summer without barely any help.
You nodded, and smiled at him, practically grinning from ear to ear; your smile was breathtaking. "He sure is. I practically re-built him over the course of a single summer before I started hunting. You should have seen the shape he was in; the whole body was practically rust," you explained.
Dean listened to the way you spoke about your truck, and he admired it, as it was similar to the way he would speak about Baby. But the way you spoke about the truck was not the only thing he was admiring; he was admiring the way the denim jacket you were wearing was slightly falling off your shoulders because of how big it was, as if you had borrowed it from someone Sam's size. Even though it was still slightly dark out, and the harsh yellow lighting was doing nobody any favors, you still somehow looked absolutely gorgeous in this lighting. Your skin looked so smooth, except for a few scars that he noticed in several places. He couldn't help but wonder the stories behind them. You're here to do a job, he reminded himself.
"That's pretty impressive that you re-built him without any help. Not a lot of people can do that," he said, trying his best to pay you a compliment. "Especially since you taught yourself."
"Yeah. My dad knows some stuff about cars, but he's no expert or anything. My best friend was the one who..." your voice trailed off, and you slightly had a blank stare on your face, as if you were reminiscing about something.
"I've re-built Baby more times than I could possibly count," he said, pointing at her for a moment before turning back to you. Your blank stare finally fading.
"When Sam told me, I honestly didn't believe him. You must be really good with your hands," you said, with a slight hint of...was that...flirting? Were you flirting with me? Dean thought. No, there's no way.
He chuckled a little. "I'd like to think so." I'd do anything to put my hands all over you....he thought. "Oh, um, since I got here first," he began, attempting to change the subject before his brain started to create some fantasies. "I was able to get us a room. But, there's only one bed, so we either have to share, or one of us is going to have to sleep on the floor."
You felt your heart starting to race a bit faster now, and your throat was beginning to get a tad dry. Were you actually nervous about the possibility of sharing a bed with the eldest Winchester?
"I don't mind sharing a bed as long as you don't," you said. But as soon as you said those words, your brain was starting to create a moral dilemma. You have a boyfriend, this counts as cheating, you thought. No, it doesn't count as cheating, I don't plan on sleeping with him as much as I'd like to.
"I don't mind. But uh...just a heads up, I get um...nightmares," he said, sounding hesitant.
"It's okay, I get them too," you reassured. "Want to head inside then and see if we can get a few hours before we go to the station tomorrow?"
Dean nodded. "Sounds good to me," he smiled.

Can u do a Seth x lahote sister where everyone thinks he’s innocent and that’s why Paul is ok with him dating his little sister but they get caught by everyone one by one but Paul in a different situation with Seth being a little freaky so Paul and Leah argue saying the other corrupted their sibling lol
This is after breaking dawn part 2!
Also, completely out of my comfort zone lol. I gave this a try. I do write some spicy stuff but not in this much detail or like thisssss lol. So I hope you enjoy it!!!!
You jump on the washing machine at Leah's house, waiting for Seth to come back. "So, you're saying that Seth has never?.." You watch as she pulls clothes from the dryer into the basket. "Nope!" She laughs. "Well, damn! I regret the things I've done in high school. Or.. people I've done." You awkwardly laugh. She shrugs and just the dryer. "Hey, we've all made mistakes. Don't feel guilty! Seth is the one for you, and you know that. That's all that matters." She smiles and then walks out of the laundry room. You follow her, going into the living room and plopping down on the couch.
Seth walks through the door and instantly smiles at your face. "Baby!" You call out and wrap him into a hug. He hugs you back, kissing your cheek. "My sweet, sweet girl." He says. Leah fake gags. "I can't believe my little brother imprinted before me." She says. "Hey, don't hate. It took waiting, Leah." He laughs.
At your house, you and Paul live together. It's just you two, but Seth spends a lot of time there. Paul really doesn't care because he's up Rachel's ass too. In fact, they are looking for a house together. Paul is giving you and Seth this house.
Seth is sitting on your bed, eating some gummies. You walk in your room from the shower. Your hair is wet, your body is soft and covered with shorts, and a small shirt. Seth looks up at you and blushes. You've never asked Seth to do anything. You've been waiting for him. He's the virgin. He's the innocent guy. Even though he's twenty, the guy has waited for his imprint for even a simple kiss, which you've taken already.
You sit next to him, and he watches you slowly. He looks back down at his snack, closes the bag, sets it on your dresser, and then steps in front of you. You look up at him, playing with your blanket nervously with your fingers. He wraps his fingers under your hair on the back of your neck. He slightly tugs your head back, and it startles you. The way he's looking at you is sending you into the stars. "May I?" He smirks. What has gotten into him?! You nod your head quickly. You will NOT pass up this opportunity.
His lips crash onto yours. His fingers dip into the band of your shorts, slowly pulling them down. Once they are off, he pulls away, sitting on the end of the bed, grabbing your waist and pulling you down. His fingers bury into your waist. Your body is pulled down, so he's right on top of you. His eyes are telling you everything you need to know. "Are you nervous, Seth?" You ask. "Nope. Because I love you." He takes his shirt off, showing his hot body. "I bet I can do better than the others." He smirks. You know he will. But you are getting butterflies. This side of him is new!
Now, you are both fully naked. He's leaving kisses on your inner thighs, biting down softly in certain spots. His fingers begin to work, and you're already a moaning mess.
---------------
Paul and Rachel step inside the house. Paul sniffs a bit, and then his eyes go wide. "Ain't no fucking way." He laughs. Rachel looks at him confused before your loud moans are heard through the house. Rachel jumps and puts a hand on her chest. "Sounds like he's doing good. Alright, let's go." She says, grabbing Paul's wrist. "That's disgusting. Seth is taking away her innocence." Paul laughs, leaving the house.
----------
You walk through the forest with Seth. You guys are having a little stroll for fun. You're following him while he has his arm behind him, holding your hand. You see his muscles with every step he takes. The veins go through his arms and hand. You stop walking, which makes him stop. He slowly turns to you. "You're so beautiful." You smile at him. He smiles, looking down, before turning his body to yours. His hands cup your face, and he leans in to kiss you.
Ever since the first time, it's been almost every day. Any chance this boy gets, he will do it. He's addicted to you, and you're addicted to him.
You kiss him back, not expecting a thing until you feel him on your thigh. You giggle and pull back. His hands grab your ass roughly, and he pulls you into him. "Ever done it outside?" He smirks. You shake your head no. "Plus, maybe we should head back. I know Kim,-" his lips stop you from speaking. "Tell me no if you don't want me right now." He mumbles on your lips. You definitely do want him. Outside is a completely new game to you. This boy gets kinkier and kinkier every time. His favorite thing to do is pull your hair and choke you.
After you don't say no and keep kissing him, he pushes you against a tree. He grabs the top of your neck near your chin, pushing your head up. His lips touch your neck, then his tongue, then his teeth. He pulls back after seeing the purple bruise forming. You're looking up at him, wanting more. He sees and understands what you want.
Clothes are off, your knees are on the grass, and he's behind you.
------
Jared and Embry are trying to find y/n and Seth! Everyone's been waiting for them to get back. "I can smell them. We're getting closer." Jared says. Everyone thinks something happened, especially after the whole Renesmee situation with the volturi. Everyone is on edge about what could happen next.
But then, the two boys stop.
------
"Guys, I think they're okay." Embry tells everyone with fear in his eyes.
------
You wake up next to your sleeping Seth. You run your fingers over his back as he stays snoozing. You roll over on his bed to check your phone. Nothing. Lol, miss unpopular. You roll over, which wakes up Seth. "I love you, beautiful." He smiles, softly touching your face. "I love you too, my handsome." You reply. "Don't you have to patrol today?" You ask with sadness. He nods and kisses your forehead. "Unfortunately." He says. "We haven't had much alone time the last couple of days." You point out to him. "We've got this morning." He smiles, looking into your eyes. "Love me like it's our last time." You whisper.
-----
Leah wakes up to loud banging on the wall and whimpers. "God damn it!" She puts a pillow over her face. She knows exactly what's going on. "It's y/n's fault!" She laughs and picks up her phone to tell Paul.
-----
Paul, Leah, Embry, Quil, Jacob, Jared, and Sam are arguing while doing yard work.
"Naw, naw! Y/n didn't even know about imprinting! She's had how many boyfriends?" Quil looks over at Paul, who's rolling his eyes. "Guys, does it even matter?" Sam sighs. "No! That's not the point! The point is Seth is NOT innocent anymore, and it's either himself or y/n. We are placing bets." Jared replies to a grumbling Sam. "Isn't there more important stuff to do?" Sam says. "Seth should be here helping us." Leah smirks, looking at Paul. "But he's got y/n latched into his skin." She giggles. "Seth is a guy! Of course, he's seen porn. Poor guy didn't conjure this up himself!" Paul fights back. "Yeah, because y/n did." She laughs. "Subject should be changed now." Sam says. "Fine. Fine." Paul raises his hands up in defense. "I wonder what Seth's like in bed." Quil whispers to Embry. "UGH!" Everyone says to Quil. He looks around awkwardly. "Well?!"
--------
Seth's belt wrapped around your wrists, holding your arms up, is starting to burn as his body moves yours from pushing. Your eyes are watering, and your throat is so dry from his shirt being there and tied to the back of your head.
-------
Paul has his earbuds in, cleaning around the kitchen. To him, y/n and Seth are gone at Leah's. He doesn't keep up with them often. He finds y/n's hairbrush on the dining table. He picks it up and goes to her bedroom. He opens the door and....
------
"Your brother is a menace!" Paul yells at Leah. "That's actually disturbing." Leah says with a disgusted face. "Still think it's my sister?!" He asks. "Okay, maybe it's both of them. Either way, it's time for them to get their own damn place. This is ridiculous. It's genuinely starting to annoy me." Leah chuckles. "Yeah, me and Rachel don't even .... well...." Paul stops his sentence. "Yeah! Yeah! I know you were finna lie buddy." Leah laughs.

have some transmasc reader with the 141 silliness that just popped into my head.
tags/tw: transmasc reader has a backstory, attempts at humour, discussions of the english school system, brief mentions of classism, "cunt" used as a term of endearment.
unedited and written straight into the drafts as per usual.
790ish words of platonic silliness.
you can't remember how the conversation started exactly, it seems that one minute they're all chatting about the football scores (dull, but you make all the right noises in the right places) and then the next they're talking about their experiences at school.
you share a fondly exasperated look with gaz when soap explains his long list of lunch time and after school detentions (how he got away with making that many beakers explode in a chemistry lab you'll never know), you wince when ghost curtly informs soap that he was "too thick" for school (patently untrue from the way you've seen him demolish a crossword), you elbow soap in the ribs when he starts getting carried away taking the piss out of price's a-level in english literature (even if you did grin at the thought of him slogging his way through twelfth night).
and then gaz turns to you.
"come on then, mate. what was school like for you?" he grins, still enjoying the buzz of hearing price recite the famous quote about a man's "greatness".
"it was alright. just school, y'know?" you shrug carelessly feeling relaxed and comfortable.
"aye, but what was it like? we ken yer the only bastard here who had private school education." soap chips in, purposefully making his voice posh and plummy on the last three words.
"shut up, you knob. it wasn't like that." you scoff and elbow soap again, "and i'm not the only bastard here with private school education! gaz went to, fucking what'sitcalled, st paul's!"
"fide et literis." price intones gravely.
there's a pause where everyone looks at price with varying levels of surprise until ghost snorts a laugh.
"pretty sure my school's motto was 'stay out of prison you shit'eads'."
you all laugh boisterously and you spot ghost's eyes crinkle at the corners as his own mouth pulls into a grin behind his mask. you sigh happily and make yourself more comfortable by butting up against soap's arm. you let your mind drift a little until gaz interrupts your thoughts.
"go on then, what school did you go to?"
"hmm?" you blink tiredly, "oh, uh, st helen's and st katharine's."
gaz whistles lowly, impressed.
"bit posh that, mate."
you cringe, suddenly embarrassed, and your ears burn up with mortification.
"i got a scholarship, alright?" you mutter, as if that justifies the inherent classism of your education. ghost kicks your ankle and you shoot him a weak smile even as your face feels like it's bursting into flame.
soap makes a confused sound and looks between his phone and your face.
"are ye sure you've got the name of yer school right?" he asks.
"yeah?" you look at him quizzically as his eyebrows draw together forming a crease. you shoot a look at price who holds his hands up in the universal "don't fucking ask me" gesture in response.
"yer positive?" soap questions again sounding baffled.
"...yeah?" you say slowly, feeling just as confused at soap's questions.
there's a pause while soap scrolls through his phone.
"but, it's a girl's school?"
you blink. you blink again. what the hell is he confused about? you look over at ghost who has gone stock still before his shoulders start jerking up and down with silent laughter. you turn to gaz who looks confused before his face clears and his mouth splits into a wide grin.
"how can ye have gone tae a girl's school if yer a boy - a man?"
price groans and hides his face into his hands at soap's question and mutters something about soap being "a proper fucking muppet" to himself. ghost wheezes out a surprisingly breathy laugh.
you blink for a third time before tilting your head back and howling with uncontrollable laughter. your ribs ache and tears collect in the corner of your eyes.
"soap -" you snort, still giggling madly when you go to speak, "did y- did you forget -" you stop to heave in a breath to calm yourself "did you forget i'm trans... again?" you finish, tears streaking their way down your hot face.
soap's face is nearly crimson over his stubble when you turn to face him again, clearly embarrassed as gaz hollers.
"he did! he fucking did! oh my god!"
"how the fuck can you f'get summat like that?" ghost manages to wheeze out before breaking out into laughter again.
"you silly cunt." you say warmly, deeply pleased by the accidental affirmation as you knock your shoulder into soap's affectionately.
soap offers you a lopsided grin in response even as gaz and ghost continue to laugh and price groans.
"i can't believe i know you pricks."
and for some reason that makes you break out into laughter all over again, but this time soap's braying laugh joins in.
#binders and boyfriends#<- it feels disingenuous to use that tag when it's a platonic fic#jm#kg#sr#jp#the quote i'm referring to is of course:#“some are born great / some achieve greatness / and some have greatness thrust upon them”#(it's a dick joke)#transmasc reader

Kate’s eyes are curious, roaming over Wanda like she’s looking for an answer to the flush on her cheeks and the small smile she keeps trying to stifle. Her brown eyes meet Wanda’s, a silent question in them as the redhead walks up to the group.
“Hey, you guys,” Wanda says, feeling her blush return when both Vision and Paul look up. “I’m going to head back a little later, but thank you for helping with this photoshoot.”
Vision blushes hotly and stutters as he mumbles something that sounds vaguely like a thank you while Paul just smiles widely at her, his hands moving quickly as he dismantles a tripod. Kate fixes her with a look, before her hand is tight around her upper arm and dragging her towards the corner of the room.
The feeling of Ms. Romanoff’s eyes on them settle underneath Wanda’s skin, the comfortable weight of those dark green irises causing her heart to pound. She’s acutely aware of the older woman’s gaze, but valiantly directs her focus toward Kate’s imploring gaze.
“So, do you want to tell me why you’re staying here?” Kate asks, scoffing at Wanda’s attempt to feign confusion. “You hate big cities, Wands. Does this have something to do with Ms. I'm-Super-Hot-And-Intimidating over there?”
“Okay, maybe,” Wanda relents, her head snapping up as she processes. “Wait, what did you just call her?”
Kate waves her off, “That’s not important right now. What on earth did Ms. Romanoff say to get you to stay longer?”
“Oh,” Wanda flushes, risking a glance over at the woman. Ms. Romanoff’s green eyes stare intently back at her, the woman’s posture relaxed even as she crosses her arms, those forearms standing out and taking Wanda’s attention away from the conversation at hand. She coughs slightly, turning back to Kate, who regards her with an unamused look.
“She sort of, kind of… asked me out for coffee?”
“Oh my fucking god, Wanda.”
In retrospect, Wanda supposed that was kind of a big deal. After all, from her hours of research on the woman, she couldn’t ever recall Ms. Romanoff ever publicly dating anyone. Obviously the woman was extremely selective in every aspect of her life, given her all-blonde staff and art pieces she’s selected for her office. Wanda wondered what she had that appealed to the woman.
Shaking off the self-deprecating thoughts that rose around her, Wanda looked back at Kate with a pleading expression. “Please don’t make this a big deal, I'm just… trying something new and putting myself out there.”
Kate’s incredulous look morphed into one of understanding, and she nodded slightly as a spark appeared in her eyes.
“Alright, but I expect a full debrief when you get back home.” She started walking towards the boys again, pushing Wanda towards the CEO waiting for her near the door. “And that includes every detail, especially if you guys make out.”
Wanda doesn’t have time to berate her, the brunette quickly walking away while simultaneously shoving her further toward the door. She quickly steels herself, taking a shuddering breath and forcing her nerves down until they weren’t a pit on her stomach.
She could do this. It was just a date, and Wanda had been on dates before. All those dates had been spectacular failures, of course. But, she knew what to expect and what sort of etiquette was appropriate. Plus, she could be cool and interesting when she wanted to be.
Looking up Wanda made eye contact with Ms. Romanoff again, and stumbled slightly as her gait was thrown off. Yeah, she was really selling the ‘cool’ part of her new act.
Fuck that, Wanda was going to be herself. Obviously it had already started to work on the older woman, and what more did she have to lose?
“Hi,” Wanda says once she’s an arms-length distance from the woman, her voice softer than she’d intended.
“Hello,” Ms. Romanoff replies, her tone laced with amusement. “Are you ready for our date?”
Flushing Wanda lets herself smile as a giddy feeling rises within her. Hearing the other woman confirm that this was, in fact, a date made her unreasonably happy. “Yes, let's grab coffee, I need some caffeine.”
“As do I.” The comment is casual, but Wanda can sense the undercurrent of warmth beneath it. It’s so different from the cold, detached manner in which Ms. Romanoff had spoken to her friends. This tone is friendly and bordering on familiarity. Wanda immediately wants to hear more of it.
They walk to the elevator in an anticipatory silence, Wanda trying to come up with something to ask the woman that wasn’t completely lame. Honestly, it’s not like she could just ask the woman what her favorite color was, that was so… pedestrian.
Wait. Why couldn’t she ask? Because she thought Ms. Romanoff would think her childish or immature for asking such a simple question? Wanda had only been around the woman for a total of around 45 minutes, but she knew the woman wasn’t one to judge on something so simple.
“So, what’s your favorite color?”
Ms. Romanoff pauses, her fingers inches from the elevator button. She seems to shake herself, pressing the button before turning her body towards Wanda, regarding her intently. Wanda feels herself flush, sure that she’s just made a mistake, but holds the woman’s gaze resolutely.
“Nobody has ever asked me that,” she says, her dark green eyes searching Wanda’s for a moment. Then, she smiles softly. It’s genuine and small, but Wanda’s heart swells at the sight of it gracing her lips.
“My favorite color is burgundy, a darker shade of red.”
“Mine is Carmine, a bit lighter in shades, but still red,” Wanda responds, smiling at the wonder in Natasha’s eyes.
“Well, what a happy coincidence. We’ll never fight over color palettes,” Ms. Romanoff says, her eyes sparkling.
Chuckling, Wanda nods. “I’m a fan of dark, earthy tones. If you couldn’t tell from my wardrobe.” She gestures towards her outfit, and Ms. Romanoff’s eyes travel down her green shirt and dark brown pants. They linger for just a second too long to be friendly, and Wanda doesn't find herself minding all that much.
“I’m also a fan of a darker color palette, if you couldn’t tell from my office.” Those dark green eyes are shining with amusement, and Wanda just smirks as she remembers the muted tone of black and white.
“We can work on adding some variety to your workspace,” Wanda counters, and a delighted look springs into the CEO’s eyes at the light-hearted jab.
Those delicious, dark-red stained lips open to counter, but the elevator chooses that exact moment to arrive. The echoing ding startles Wanda, and she blinks as the doors open.
Inside the elevator, a couple springs apart, their lips puffy and eyes wide. The girl’s face is flushed, and the young man next to her has mussed hair and his hands in front of his body, attempting to conceal his reaction to the obviously passionate make-out session they’d stumbled upon.
“After you,” Ms. Romanoff smirks and gestures with her hand, and Wanda flushes at the manners as she steps into the elevator. As the older woman moves into the small space after her, Wanda bites her lip at the smell of cinnamon wafting over her. There isn’t much room with the other couple, and she feels warmth spread throughout her entire body as Ms. Romanoff’s shoulder presses against hers.
The air is still, the atmosphere awkwardly silent. The other couple stares guilty at the floor, and when Wanda risks a glance to her right, Ms. Romanoff has a hint of a smirk dancing on her lips. Unfortunately, the hotel the rich CEO picked doesn't play trashy elevator music, so they descend the floors to the tune of embarrassed silence and smooth jazz.
Wanda struggles to keep a straight face and breathes a sigh of relief as the doors open on the ground floor. To her surprise, Ms. Romanoff takes her hand, lacing her cool fingers with Wanda’s. Pulling her with her, she strides confidently out towards the front door.
“What is it with elevators,” The woman remarks in that low, raspy voice of hers, seemingly oblivious to Wanda’s stunned silence. She can feel her heartbeat racing, warmth flooding through her from where Ms. Romanoff’s hand is clasped against her own. The suppressed giggles of the couple sound out from behind them, but Wanda pays them no mind.
Truly, the most attractive thing about Ms. Romanoff is her quiet, self-assured confidence. Wanda admires the way she walks with her head high, her words sharp but not unkind. She expects the best and doesn't accept any less, and Wanda once again wonders where she fits into the puzzle of the woman’s life.
Outside, the sun is shining, a cool breeze making its way through Wanda’s hair as Ms. Romanoff gently pulls her towards the sidewalk. They walk for a bit, chatting about specific shades that make up the perfect color palette, when Wanda realizes something.
No one has ever held Wanda’s hand, not like this. Ms. Romanoff hasn’t made any moves to remove her fingers, lacing them with Wanda’s as if it’s the easiest, most natural thing in the world. Wanda feels lightheaded with giddiness.
Is this what it feels like to be with someone who’s not ashamed or afraid to show her off?
They reach the coffee shop, and Ms. Romanoff slowly removes her hand from Wanda’s as she opens the door. She holds it open, and Wanda marvels once again at her impeccable manners as she’s ushered through the door.
Stopping a few feet away from the start of the line, Wanda looks around as she attempts to gain her bearings. The coffee shop is large, the menu expansive and the music low as the sound of low voices fills the espresso-scented air.
Ms. Romanoff stops just behind her and Wanda shudders involuntarily at the feeling of the woman pressing against her gently.
“Why don’t you go find us a seat and I’ll order. What would you like?”
Holy fuck.
The sound of the CEO’s low words send a shiver down Wanda’s spine, an unknown feeling pooling in her gut. She can feel warm breath hitting her ear as the woman speaks, and knows that if she were to turn her head, those tempting lips would be mere inches from her face. God, she wants to turn her head, to see if the woman behind her would get just as flustered as she is at the sight of her lips close to hers.
Wanda turns her head, hearing a sharp intake of breath as her eyes find Ms. Romanoff’s. The woman’s body has gone rigid, her eyes locked on Wanda’s lips for a second too long to be a mistake. Then, slowly, she drags her gaze up towards Wanda’s. It’s purposeful and intent, the heat of those eyes sending flashes of electricity shooting straight to Wanda’s core.
Suddenly remembering the question she’d just been asked, Wanda speaks, keeping her voice low. This moment feels too personal, too… intimate to ruin.
“I’d like an iced chai with vanilla, please.”
“A wonderful order,” Ms. Romanoff remarks, her eyes glancing down again, catching Wanda doing the same thing. Her smirk widens. “I’m partial to a hot mocha with cinnamon powder, myself.”
“I’ll keep that in mind,” Wanda murmurs, before she takes a deep breath and brushes her hand against the older woman’s waist. It’s light, her fingers barely applying any pressure, but the daring move has Ms. Romanoff’s eyes darkening and her tongue darting out to wetten those tantalizing lips.
Leaning in slightly, Wanda hears the CEO’s breath hitch slightly. “I’ll go find us a seat.”
Pulling away, Wanda registers the shocked look on Ms. Romanoff’s face and grins to herself as she finds a quiet table near the window. She watches the woman from under her lashes, taking in the confident stance and light flush on her cheeks. A part of Wanda feels immensely proud that she was the one who caused that sort of reaction to the well-put-together woman.
She wants to find every crack in that perfect facade and reveal them until Ms. Romanoff’s truest self is revealed, and she’s found one way to do so. Who knew that the woman was so thrown off by a little teasing?
Wanda muses that Ms. Romanoff probably doesn’t expect teasing in return, given that most of the advances made so far between them have been made exclusively by the older woman. She’s deep in thought when a cup is placed before her, the comforting scent of chai reaching her nose as she blinks in surprise.
“Penny for your thoughts?”
Flushing, Wanda racks her brain for an appropriate response. She couldn’t very well say, oh I was just thinking about if you would moan if I squeezed your hip, or if you get flustered when your bottom lip is bitten, or if you’re as controlling in the bedroom as you are in real life. She couldn’t say that, so instead she made something up.
“I was wondering what type of perfume you wear.”
“Oh?” Ms. Romanoff gracefully takes her seat, raising a single eyebrow at her. It’s a silent command to continue, and Wanda chooses her next words carefully, not wanting to accidentally offend the woman.
“You smell like cinnamon, which isn’t a common perfume scent,” Wanda begins, noticing the way Ms. Romanoff sits back in her chair as she regards her with interest. “So I was thinking about what sort of perfume you wear.”
“And did you come to a conclusion?”
“I did not.”
Ms. Romanoff hums in response, smiling as she sips her mocha. She doesn’t offer an answer, and Wanda doesn’t ask further. She’ll let the woman keep her secrets for now.
“Is he your boyfriend?”
Wait. What?
“Who?” Wanda asks, confused.
“The photographer.”
Ms. Romanoff’s relaxed pose tells a story of indifference, but the tenseness on her face and the way her eyes search Wanda’s tell a completely different tale.
“Vision?” Wanda shakes her head, sipping her chai as she scoffs. “No, he’s not my boyfriend.”
“I sense derision.”
“Well, he’d like to be my boyfriend,” Wanda explains. “But I don’t…”
There’s a moment of silence, and Ms. Romanoff leans forward. Her attention is solely focused on Wanda, but instead of intimidated, she feels rather comforted.
“You don’t, what?” The words are gentle, and Wanda takes another sip of her chai while blushing.
“I don’t like him that way,” she finally says. It’s not the answer she really wanted to give, but it’s the one she feels comfortable saying. Ms. Romanoff nods once, understanding dawning on her features. She seems satisfied with Wanda’s response and doesn’t inquire anymore about Vision and his obvious crush on her.
“How do you feel about me?” Ms. Romanoff asks, and Wanda nearly chokes on her drink. She hadn’t expected such a straightforward question, but after looking at the serious expression on Ms. Romanoff’s face, she decides to match the woman’s brutal honesty.
“I find you intimidating,” Wanda says, before she flushes and gazes intently at the lid of her chai cup. This cafe uses a strawless lid, one with an extra-wide mouth. She supposes they’re probably doing it for the sake of the environment.
“You should,” Ms. Romanoff replies. “I appreciate the honesty, but please, don’t look away when I’m speaking to you. I like to see your face.”
“I- you… like to see my face?”
“You have a wide range of expressions, it’s cute,” Ms. Romanoff smirks, her eyes glancing pointedly at Wanda’s reddening cheeks. “You’re a mystery to me, Wanda.”
“Oh?” Wanda asks, curious. She leans forward, “How am I the mystery between the two of us?”
Ms. Romanoff smiles at that, setting her drink on the table between them as she tilts her head. “You’re self-contained, you only show the world what you think it wants to see, not what you truly are.”
“I could say the same about you.”
“Ah yes, but the difference between the two of us is that I’m a well-known public figure. Having an air of aloofness and mystery is essentially part of the job description. You, however, have the freedom to be whoever you want to be, to interact with the world however you choose. And yet, you remain private.”
Wanda blinks at the assessment, and Ms. Romanoff leans back in a manner that could be read as smug, if not for the gentle smile on her face.
“Do you offer up personal observations like that?”
“Are you offended?”
“No,” Wanda says slowly, considering what she was about to say. “But I have an observation of my own.”
There’s a spark of interest, and a bit of challenge in Ms. Romanoff’s dark green eyes. “Go on.”
“You like control.”
“I do,” she nods, “I exercise control in every aspect of my life, Wanda.”
“Including the part where you haven’t offered to let me call you by your first name?”
“Exactly.” Ms. Romanoff’s tone is far too smug for Wanda’s liking. God, the audacity of this woman. Everything about her screamed that she was in control of this conversation. Why did Wanda find that so hot?
The refusal to let Wanda call her by her first name was just another element of her control. Another way to show Wanda that they were not yet on the same playing field. And honestly, Wanda would’ve cared more if she didn’t find the power dynamic so appealing.
“What does your sister do?” Wanda asks, and judging by the way Ms. Romanoff’s eyebrows fly up, the woman is caught extremely off guard. Ha. Take that, Wanda can ask invasive questions too.
“She teaches a professional martial arts class in New York.” The response is clipped, short. Evidently, Ms. Romanoff isn’t pleased with the personal change of topic.
“I’ve always wanted to visit New York,” Wanda says, and interest sparks in those green eyes across from hers, any signs of earlier irritation long gone.
“It’s beautiful, especially in the fall.”
They sit in a comfortable silence for a while, with Wanda eyeing the long fingers on Ms. Romanoff’s hand as it rests near the center of the small table. It would be so easy to reach over and rest her hand next to it, but Wanda’s never been that bold. So instead, she sits and sips her chai and wishes she had to bravery to grab Ms. Romanoff’s hand the same way the woman had in the elevator.
As they chat about lighter topics, Wanda notices that Ms. Romanoff’s knee is slowly pressing against hers underneath the table. She’s in the middle of talking about her finals when she first notices it, her words halting for a brief moment before Ms. Romanoff tilts her head slightly, prompting her to continue.
It’s infuriating, and Wanda tries to suppress the heat that coils in her stomach with each passing second as she feels the pressure of Ms. Romanoff’s steady knee increase. It’s comforting, it’s arousing, and it’s throwing Wanda off balance.
Well, Wanda can give the same energy right back.
“So do you have a girlfriend?”
It doesn’t work. Ms. Romanoff remains as cool and collected as ever, the only evidence of surprise shown by her raised eyebrow.
“If I was in a relationship, I would not have asked you out on a date, Ms. Maximoff.”
“So this is an official date?”
“It is.” Ms. Romanoff’s eyes sparkle with amusement, and Wanda smiles slightly.
“Just making sure,” she mumbles, finishing her chai. “Did it go well? Did I pass the test?”
“What test?”
To her credit, Ms. Romanoff sounds genuinely confused. Wanda immediately wishes she could take it back, but instead lets her mouth start talking without thinking.
“I just meant… I don’t know. I feel like I’ve been trying to pass some sort of test to be worthy of your presence ever since the interview.”
“Well,” dark green eyes find hers, shining with sincerity. “I’m sorry I’ve made you feel that way. I am genuinely interested in you, Ms. Maximoff. I want us to be on an even playing field as we get to know each other, hence this public coffee shop.”
“Oh.” Wanda doesn’t quite know what to say, but something inside her chest settles. She smiles instead, that giddy feeling rising once again as she meets Ms. Romanoff’s eyes. Fuck, the older woman is so effortlessly beautiful.
Standing, Ms. Romanoff offers her hand. “Shall we?”
Chuckling slightly, Wanda takes the offered hand, blushing at the comforting grip of Ms. Romanoff’s fingers clasped around her own. It feels so natural, her fingers interlocked with the older woman’s, and Wanda finds herself leaning into her.
They walk back towards the hotel, their pace slow and perfectly in sync with each other. Ms. Romanoff’s cinnamon perfume gently wafts toward Wanda, enveloping her mind in a comforting sort of haze. She’s struck with the sudden desire to know everything about the other woman, to break through that outer shell and reveal the complex person she knows is buried deep within her.
However, even Wanda knows that it’s too early to discover the secrets of Ms. Romanoff. So, instead, she turns towards the woman once they reach her car, and leans in.
“I’ll text you when I get home, okay?”
Ms. Romanoff lets out a small huff, her eyes closing briefly to avoid looking at Wanda’s lips, which are about an inch away from her own.
“Ms. Maximoff, please refrain from teasing me.”
“Or what?”
Wanda barely has any time to gloat in the first crack she’s made to Ms. Romanoff’s facade before she’s being pushed backward and pressed against the side of her car. Those strong hands are on either side of her, trapping her between her car and the woman before her. She can see those muscles flexing underneath the silky fabric of Ms. Romanoff’s shirt, and hears her own shaky breaths as the woman leans in.
Her lips are mere centimeters away, and Wanda is filled with the urge to taste them. God, they’re so… fucking… close…
“Or I will have to retaliate until you break and crumble beneath me.”
It’s official, Wanda is fucked.

out of your league - paul x reader
AN: thank you all for love and support of the last nineteen parts of this story ! you all are awesome 💜
<<prev >>next
As you continued to see the art that was Larry Gagosian’s pick to be displayed in his gallery, he began to promise you your own artistic spot in his gallery.
“I have to fly to LA soon. I would really like it if you could accompany me.” he says to you.
“Wow. Me?” you breathed out.
“You think you can have something done?”
“I know I will have something done.” you say and this caused him to laugh at your confidence as he liked how sure you were of yourself.
You sit in front of him at the restaurant table, he had explained earlier how if you were represented by him, what all he can offer you.
Edward reassured you on the way there, Larry’s intentions were genuine. The wine and dining was strictly for business. Larry’s assistant planted the white important paper on the table.
More opportunities, more work, more sales, more money. More, more, more. It felt like you hit the jackpot.
As you walked out of the somewhat business lunch, you were still in a daze. Edward watched in amusement as you kept saying, “This can’t be real.”
Edward held the paper contract that Larry’s assistant had brought. It contained the proof of his promises and your signature would solidify everything.
You slowed your walk and start to frown.
“What’s the matter?” Edward asks.
“Does that mean…I have to live here?” you ask.
Edward skims over it.
“Maybe. He wants to shop you around for an entire year.”
Damn.
“I gotta go.” you say.
“Is everything alright?” he asks as he watched your expression. It went from excitement to a touch of grief.
“I have to call Paul. I have to- I gotta talk to him.” you say.
“You shouldn’t panic. Everything will be alright.” he says reassuringly.
“It’s really annoying when you tell me what I shouldn’t do.” you say.
Edward doesn’t take offense to this as he grins a little.
“You just got an exciting opportunity. Just enjoy it.” he says, “How do you feel?” he then softly asks.
“On top of the world.” you whisper as you look down. You don’t hear anything but you look up to see Edward looking at you with captivation.
You felt unbelievably nervous. You look away after feeling a bit intimated.
“Where’s Alice?” you ask softly to change the atmosphere and subject.
“She’s at home.” he answers in the same volume.
You look to him again. He’s still staring.
“Home?” you ask in confusion.
“We have a penthouse.”
“Oh.” you say while nodding.
“Would you like to see her?” he asks.
“I just asked because I haven’t seen her since the symphony. That’s all.”
“What did you think of it?” he asks.
“It was..Alright.”
He chuckles and this makes you take another look at him.
“What?” you ask slightly annoyed.
“It’s funny when you lie.” he says.
“You think I’m lying?”
“You are lying. It was more than ‘alright’. You tend to say that a lot to mask what you’re really feeling.”
“Since you know it all, what am I really feeling?” you ask.
You continue the stroll, not wanting to feel stagnant. He follows you with ease.
“As a whole, you think this entire situation plays on the side of vice.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean…If you didn’t hold back, you would’ve signed the deal right then and there. Something else is distracting you.”
“See? There you go. Would you stop it? Paul is not a distraction.”
He furrows his eyebrows, “I didn’t say Paul. I meant it as you’re overthinking.”
You flopped down on the bench of Central Park. You put your face in your hands.
“This is really hard.” you say.
You feel a rub on your back and you sit up straight and look to him.
“Edward.” you warn.
His hand falls as he sits back. You look ahead.
“What are you going to do?”
“I can’t accept it.” you say.
“Y/N, don’t be foolish.” he says.
“I can’t leave what I know behind.”
He shakes his head, almost as if he’s a teacher who’s staring at a student with wasted potential.
“I thought this is what you were trying to build up to?” he asks.
“It is but…” you say and watch the carefree people go about their day. You wonder what sacrifices they had to make in their lifetime. You wonder if it was lesser or greater than yours.
“Why do you even care anyway?” you ask, feeling moody. You wanted someone to blame.
“You have a gift. I know what it’s like to have one. To just throw it away would be throwing away your life.” he calmly answers.
You stand up and start to walk.
“Where are you going?” he asks.
“Back to my room.” you say and you continue walking.
You called Paul on your cellphone. You didn’t trust him to see your face. Each ring dropped your stomach.
“Hello?” he answered.
“Hey.” you say.
“Hey yourself.” he says.
“It’s nice to hear your voice.” you say.
“Likewise.”
You both stay on the phone as you don’t say anything after that.
“Y/N. What’s wrong?”
You laugh lightly, “Why do you think something’s wrong.”
“Because something’s wrong. Tell me.” he says.
You sigh softly as you think of how to bring your words together.
“I met someone. Someone who…Who will soar my career.”
“Who?”
“Larry.”
“Mm.” he says at the name. You gushed about him to Paul the night you met him. With his tone, you could see his face now.
Paul gripped the phone in his hand. He knew this conversation wasn’t going to be smooth.
“So, what happened? What do you have to tell me?” he asks lowly that scared you a bit.
“He…wants to represent me. He’s..going to shop me and my paintings around and well…I might have… to live here for a year since his big clients are here. He wants me to accompany him to LA right after I leave New York.” you say and take a breath as you close your eyes and look down. It was out there and you couldn’t take back your words.
There’s silence on the line.
“Paul.” you say in the phone.
“Yeah.” he says deeply.
“Can you say..Something?” you plead.
“When are you coming home?” he asks.
“I..” you say and stop. You didn’t have an answer because you felt like everything was up for grabs.
“Y/N.” he calls.
“Yes?” you answer small.
“When are you are coming home?” he asks with more clarity.
“I don’t know.”
“What do you mean you don’t know? You were supposed to come home in two days.”
“I know. I know.” you say.
“Well?”
“All of this stuff happened.” you say as your heart did jumping jacks in your chest.
“Is there someone else?” he asks bluntly.
“I don’t get what you mean.” you say.
“You do. Someone keeping you company? You just told me you missed me.” he replies and you can hear the agitation in his voice.
“No. There’s no one here with me. I do miss you. I miss you so much. What? You think I’m cheating on you or something? Is that’s why you think I want to stay here?”
“I didn’t say that.” he says.
“Well that’s what it seems like.” you say.
“If that’s what it seems, then is it true?” he says and you can hear his gritted teeth.
“Paul. I don’t want to argue.”
“We’re not arguing. Y/N, come home.” he says.
“I will.” you say.
“Y/N.”
“I said I will.” you say.
You hang up from him and you pack. Frustrated tears form in your eyes as you fold your bunched clothes and a knock rings out.
You wipe your tears that sneaked out and open the door, too upset to see who it is.
“I don’t want to see you right now.” you say to Edward.
“You left without taking this.” he says holding up the white paper that held your destiny.
“I don’t need it.” you snap at him. His somewhat hurt expression make you sigh, “I’m sorry.”
“What’s wrong?” he steps forward and peers down at you.
“I will be okay.” you say.
His eyes flicker over to the suitcase that was laid on your bed behind you.
“You’re leaving?”
“Getting ready to.” you say.
“Why?”
“Because I am. Okay?” you say without any patience.
“Let me guess…You called him.”
“Edward just go.” you say in broken words as your face started to crumble.
“Why do you push me away? I just want to help.”
“You’re making things worse!” you say as your hands cover your face and you turn away. Edward pushed the door from automatically shutting, he steps in closer.
He watched as your shoulders shiver and he sets the paper down on the nearby desk, he does something that surprised you. You felt something firm with coldness, surround you.
“Don’t be upset Y/N.” he says soothingly. The velvety voice rings out and he slowly rubs your back.
You sniff and step back. He slowly raised his hand and you watch his hand closely. He placed it on your cheek and let his thumb glide and gently wipe the hot tear that escaped from your eye. The coolness of his hand cooled your hot face for a moment. You blinked at him and his face was filled with deep benevolence.
You turn away. You walk to your suitcase.
“Y/N, just don’t leave.” he says like a lullaby.
“I have to leave in two days anyway.”
“I was worried that you were leaving early.”
You shake your head as you look down at the open suitcase.
“Alice has asked to see you.”
“I’m too upset.” You say sadly as you sit down.
“She’s good at cheering people up.” he says as he grins softly as he sits next to you.
You don’t say anything as the floor was more interesting. Edward focused to see what he could read, or rather see, from your mind, your mind was like one big black scribble circle. He was used to the beautiful colors that bounced around.
“Will making something calm you down?” he asks softly after some time. He watched as you looked up at him with slightly puffed eyes.
“I guess. I usually make how I’m feeling.” you whisper with a slight shrug.
“How do you feel? Besides upset.” He asks.
“Conflicted. Frustrated.” you admittedly say.
“Let’s get you a canvas.” he says as he rises up and before you could blink, your jacket is in his hand.
“It’s fine.” you say with defeat, “I will be okay.”
“I can’t trust that.” he says with humor to try to cheer you up.
You sigh softly as you look ahead at him in front of you.
He walks over to the nightstand and picks up your sketchbook.
You perk up with energy as you stand up and you walk to him.
“Can I take a look?” he asks.
“Why?” you ask.
“I just want to see your world.” he says.
You look at the book in his hands as he slowly opens the book.
He watched carefully as you worked your hand. You could see even though it was dark because of the city life shining brightly through the car window.
The graphite pencil was snug in your hand as you really sketched how you were really feeling in the pad that rested on your lap. You swiftly sketched different faces with different emotions that merged with one another. Edward was glad that he was in the backseat with you instead of driving. He always wanted to watch you create something.
He watched how your face softened as you continued to work. The soft sound of the pencil scraping against the paper was like music to his ears. The backed up traffic was something that he was for once grateful for.
He pressed the button on the elevator to the top floor as you clutched your book to you.
When he unlocked his door, Alice rushed you and you say, “Oof.” from the force.
She squeals your name as she hugged you tight but not too tightly.
“Alice, let her breathe.” Edward says to his sister.
“Come in!” she says excitedly as she still holds onto your arm and brings you into the luxurious penthouse.
It hit you like a truck. You felt calm. As if you weren’t upset just earlier. Your shoulders even relax.
“Jazz, look who’s here.” she says with excitement as she takes your hand.
Jasper gives you a friendly smile. Something on his face made you feel like he knew something. You still wave hello to him.
“Are the others here in the city with you?” you ask.
“Ithaca.” Jasper answers.
“It’s so nice there. We should go before you have to leave. We can surprise the others with a visit.” Alice says with enthusiasm.
“I’ll pass. Plus, I’m sure they don’t care to see me.” you say because you weren’t sure if it was a good idea, they collectively say, “What?”
“Y/N, that’s not true.” Edward says.
“They ask about you.” Alice says to you and sits you down on the superb sofa right with her.
You sit back and sink in the sofa.
Paul paced back and forth. He clenched and unclenched his fists. His wolf scratched inside of his body to be free.
“She’s going to be back.” Sam says as he watched him.
Paul doesn’t say anything.
“Oh my god.” Kim suddenly says.
Jared looks over, “What?”
“Look.” She says to him and shows a picture, of you posing with Larry in his gallery, that had been reposted on the net. Jared didn’t know who it was, but the comments recognizing the man, showed he was important. The blue check marked account displayed a caption.
“She’s the one to watch out for”
Paul didn’t want to look. He already knew. He would of loved for you to take the deal but, an entire year being away from you would kill him. He just couldn’t do it.
Paul let the door slap close behind him as he heaved and flung himself forward to burst through with his wolf.
After running for some time, he realized he was in Fork’s neck of the woods, a flash of red darted past. He calculated her speed with his eyesight as he tracked her movements. He instinctively chased her, her small figure flinging gracefully through the woody trees. There were moments when he was centimeters close to landing his razor sharp teeth on her. He snapped his jaw at her.
Paul growled as she kept dodging getting caught. He pushed forward, feeling frustrated that she was right at his paws but, she kept slipping away easily. He chased her off until he couldn’t see her anymore. He patrolled the surrounding area to make sure there wasn’t any others lurking around.
Alice sits still as Jasper confirms to you of his lack of thirst with you being around.
“I’m new to the animal diet. You’re like a pain reliever.” he says to you with a smirk.
Edward doesn’t make it known as he’s sitting beside you, but he’s watching Alice’s vision blow by blow.
You look over to Edward having a deep look of concentration. You look to Jasper as he talks to you again to unknowingly distract you.
“I felt your sorrow when you walked in. Notice how you felt calm?”
“That was your doing?” you ask in surprise.
He confirms.
“So, you can make people feel emotions?” you ask.
“I sense and I can control them. I raised your endorphin levels a little.” he answers.
He watched your face as you are somewhat impressed at this information.
Edward watched with intensity as his sister’s eyes dart back and forth and even move her fingers subtly, as if she was grabbing something. Her mouth was slightly open as if she was in a trance. It scared Edward. Jasper sensed this.
Alice blinks rapidly as she looks down. Jasper is next to her in a flash as they clutch each other’s hand for support and he looks to her. Which makes you look. If Alice was human, she would’ve panted.
“Are you alright?” you ask.
“Y/N, you can’t go back home.” she rushed out almost too loudly.
Chuckling a bit, “I have to. You know this.”
“She’s right. You can’t.” Edward says carefully but firmly.
You look at him with a perplexed look.
“What did you see?” Jasper asks. Fully concentrating on her. Alice speaks but draws her eyes up to you. The vision was about you.
“Victoria. She’s in Washington. Bella picked you up from the airport and with you being around, you took away Victoria’s thirst for Bella. She decided to make you her new target. You don’t even make it to La Push.” she rambles on but whispers out the last part.
You stand up. The cloud of calmness is still hovering over you.
“She jumped out onto the road which caused Bella to swerve. She jumped right onto Bella’s truck and grabbed you out.” Alice continues on.
“Who’s Victoria?” you ask immediately.
“Do you remember in the library when I explained to you how Bella was attacked by James and how we killed him?” he asks you.
“Yes.” you say in a small voice and a nod.
“James is Victoria’s mate.” he answers.
“So, I’ll just call someone else from the pack to pick me up. I can’t stay here. I have to get home. I have to.” you say.
Alice shakes her head too fast, “You called them, they won’t answer. You call someone else, a friend I’m guessing from La Push. You find out that she was told to not go anywhere because of being told of the news of a loose vampire. She lets you know that Paul and the others are away tracking the vampire down. It has to be Victoria. You then decide to call Bella to pick you up. She will attack you. We can’t let that happen. I try to track her but she goes into La Push land and I can’t see her. Something’s blocking me from seeing her next move.” she says trying her best to find a reason why.
You slowly sit down, unable to feel what you want to feel. Jasper’s ability won’t let you freak out. But, you’re desperate for answers.
“I saw her bite you and change you for her gain. Eventually, even turning you against us. ” she says and you gasp.
“This isn’t good.” you whisper as you sit back and look up at the high architectural ceiling, hoping something would fall down and would give you a miracle of this not being reality.
“She won’t touch you. I won’t let it happen.” Edward says soothingly to you.
“Yes but, what about Paul? What about my life at home?” you ask him seriously, not breaking eye contact to let him know how serious this was.
“He can survive you not coming home right away. However, I’m sure he won’t be happy with you being dead or turned.” he says to you trying to get you to understand.
“So…What do I do?” you ask, looking at them all.
“Well..You can stay here..With us. Twenty-four hour surveillance.” Alice says, somewhat hopeful about the idea.
“What if she comes here?” you ask.
“She won’t. That’s why it’s important for you to decide to stay. She can’t know you exist.” Edward says.
“So, what do I tell Paul?”
“You have to tell him you accepted the deal even if you don’t. It will only make sense for why you have to stay here. It will hurt but, you have to stay away until she’s at least taken care of.” Alice says.
You sit back down on the couch with defeat. You stare at the coffee table that screamed exclusiveness. You look up after moments of silence.
You glanced at Alice and seen that Alice gave Edward a quick look. Edward silently looks back at her. You notice this.
“Is there something else?” you perk up to ask her.
“That was it.” Edward says switching to pierce his gaze at you and you watch closely as he swallows a bit. You can tell he’s lying. You narrow your eyes a bit at him.
You weren’t worried about the pack, knowing how quickly they killed the last vampire they came after you. You had faith that they would kill Victoria as well.
“Great. There goes my goodnight’s sleep.” you say lowly.
“It will be okay.” Alice says in her best voice to soothe someone.
“I don’t want anyone to get hurt. What’s the outcome if I do stay?” you ask.
“I don’t see her after some time. I assume she’s dead. I don’t see anyone close to you being hurt.” she says with certainty. She narrows her eyes a bit before shaking her head, “Not even Bella. I can still see some of her future.”
“Well, I hope that really means that she’s dead. But, who’s to say how long it will take.” you say and you cross your arms, “Why is she going into La Push land anyway?”
“My guess is she stumbles upon it because I don’t see her making a plan to go there.” Alice answers.
“If I stay, I can still come home, right?” you ask.
She nods with confidence, “It’s just temporary.”
Alice then hops up and grab your hands and you’re up with her before you knew it.
“Enough with the sad stuff. Come look at my designs Y/N!” Alice says.
The room you enter had a strong but glamorous desk with papers on it. You saw the colors of the sketches as you walked closer.
“You drew these?” you ask her in astonishment as you held up one paper. The design was so ahead of its time.
“Of course!”
“Amazing!” you say as you look at the other unique designs that were illustrated. You then look to see a mannequin with a finished outfit snug to it.
“So, you design the clothes and then you make them?” you ask as you look at the mannequin’s unbelievably stylish outfit.
“Yup!” she says, proud of her work, “What do you think of this one?”
“I could see this on a runway. It looks straight out of a magazine, it’s crazy.” you say with a small smile as you look at it.
“Thanks.” she says with her own gleaming smile, “I love using my powers for this. Glimpsing into the future to envision the next big design is much more happier than seeing oncoming danger.” she explains.
“I can see that. I think it’s cool that you guys have powers. It sucks that the negative can make you kind of forget the beauty in the power that you do have.” you say.
“Exactly. It’s much more tangible this way.” she says.
You watch as she then perks up, “Should we create something together?”
“Me? Design clothes?” you ask her and she nods excitedly.
“I can’t do that.” you say chuckling at the thought of yourself trying to create an outfit. You’d much rather leave the job to someone else instead of attempting such thing.
“You can. If you can draw everything else, you can.” she says as if you were ridiculous for not thinking so.
“I don’t know the first thing of sketching designs.” you say as you follow her to her desk. She brings out fresh sheets of paper and speedily puts the created designs away.
“We can start by making something that you would actually wear.” she says cheekily.
You lazily start to draw a person just like you saw how she did, except it wasn’t as perfect as hers. As you drew the upper part of the body, you look down to see Alice already drawing a comprehensive skirt.
You try your best to draw a good looking top, it seemed plain in your eyes. Alice didn’t mind.
“This is only the rough sketch.” she says.
“Rough?!” you say as you point to the design she already drew. She got a kick out of it as she laughs.
As you both were in the middle of drawing up stylized flat sketches, you hear Alice’s colored pencil be abandoned as she meets Jasper’s entrance. She wrapped her arms around him and they kissed.
The smooches were strong as they got lost into each other. You smoothly leave out of the room as they had no plans on letting up from each other. Your guess was right as you look back to see the door closed.
You sober up your chuckle as you enter the front of the home, finding Edward there, as if he was waiting for you to enter.
“Are you alright?” he asks to you.
“I can tough it out.” you say, trying your best to stay light.
He touches your arm as he walks past. You look as he walks to the piano that was now in this home. It was more grand than the last one.
Sitting on the bench, he scoots over so you can sit. He takes one hand and lets his fingers touch on certain keys, making an easy but complex sound with the flick of his wrist.
You watch him and his fingers as he takes one of your hands and lift it to the keys. You retract. He looks to you.
“I definitely don’t know how to play.” you say sheepishly.
He smiles a bit, “Just press these two keys like this.”
He picks you hand back up and place two fingers on different keys and press them down creating the desired rhythm. You continue to press down on the heavy keys without the help of his hand. The sound of the notes you played was heard in your own ears with Edward’s note that he’s already playing. He joins his second hand and soon, you’re playing the piano together.
The song he wanted to play was over. You press your finger on a different key to get a different sound, experimenting, he makes a note to go with that. You smile but look up at him. The look that he gave you was very intense that it almost scared you. It was enough to make your stomach flip and you immediately felt shame.
You put your eyes back to the keys that were in front of you and swallow with a sense of seriousness. Your musical movements slow to a stop.
“What are you thinking?” he asked you.
You take a moment to answer as he patiently waited.
“Is it bad..That I want to say screw it and do my own thing? Believing that it won’t come true if I just see for myself?” you throw out. He racks his own brain for the right answers as he says, “It’s frustrating, I know. The danger in this situation is just temporary.”
“I’m dreading the phone call.” you say with uneasy feelings. Edward nods in understanding as he looks at the keys.
“Don’t stress too much. You forget that I know what happens. Things will be okay.” he says as he looks back up to you.
You tear your eyes away from his and you hear a chuckle.
“You were suckered into making designs with Alice?” he asks.
You roll your eyes at his teasing, “It feels like a different ball game.” you tell him. Out of your peripheral vision, you catch his grin.
“I played the piano. How about you draw something.” you say as you rise up and walk to your sketchbook. Since, comfort zones were not occupied.
“Draw what?” he asks.
“Whatever.” you say with a shrug as you flip open the book to an empty page.
He sucks in an unnecessary breath as he slips the pencil out of your fingers. You follow him to the couch that had the coffee table in front of it. He leans a bit to place the book on the table. You watch his speedy hand create a stick figure. You give him a look that makes him laugh.
“Seriously?”
“You said whatever.” he says in rebuttal with a smirk. You don’t say anything as he was right. You lean back on the couch and look at the huge television showing a black screen.
“Want to watch something?” he asks as he sees what you’re looking at. You nod and he hands you the slim remote. You flick on the television and the first thing that comes on is the Animal Channel. This makes you crack a smile as a thought came into your head.
“What?” Edward asks as he fidgets with the pencil in his fingertips.
“Nothing just…Thought it was funny how this is like the vampire version of a fast food commercial.” you say as you watch the screen and a quiet chuckle is heard from him.
“You can watch it. I have my favorite.” he says. You watch the television as you ask, “Different animal blood taste different?”
“Yes.”
“What’s..What’s your favorite?” You ask carefully as the story follows the herd of zebras running from danger. Very few were unsuccessful as it’s captured in slow motion with somber music.
“Big cats. Mountain lions preferably.” he answers. You nod as you continue watching the screen.
Some time passes and he asks, “Why art?”
“It’s my first love.” you answer simply. You couldn’t imagine life without it.
“If you couldn’t do it anymore, what would you do?” he asks.
“I wouldn’t do anything. I wouldn’t exist.” you say. You look at him and then down and your stomach drops at the sight. You froze as he watched you. You reach your body close to him to pick up your book. You slam it closed and put it next to you. You close your eyes as you focused on breathing steady.
“What? Was it that bad?” Edward says with humor. You look at him with a thoughtful look and you pick your book back up and flip back to the page of what he drew.
He drew the whole time you were talking to him while you weren’t paying attention. You had no idea. He drew you watching television with a peaceful expression. There was a touch of innocence almost in the sketch. It was effortless as if he did this time and time again. His art style was a simple sketch but with more practice, it was easily photorealistic. He made you look…Beautiful.
“I thought you didn’t know how to draw.” you say quietly as your heart thumps loudly in your ears.
“I really didn’t. I haven’t put much of an effort for it before.” he says.
“Yeah right, it’s as if you lied to me.” you say.
“So, I have your approval?” he asks and you give him a look.
“It’s..Alright.” you say. Edward smiled to himself as he watched you still look at it. You take in a breath and let it close as you didn’t know how to feel.
“Do you want to keep it?” you quietly ask as it rests in your lap.
“I will keep it.” he answered back, subtly enthused.
You tear it out slowly and carefully holding it. As stimulating the artwork was, you couldn’t keep it. It felt too intimate.
You couldn’t sleep that night. You tried calling Paul, but no answer.
You text him.
“I hope you’re safe. I miss you.”
You stare at it a bit before turning your phone off. You turn over and listened to the quiet hum of the AC in the hotel room.
A pair of intense eyes in your head followed you into slumber. You dreamed of a male cool finger that traces your cheek, to the side of your neck, and you felt the cold air of his breath on your skin.
You woke up and immediately check your phone to see Paul sending you a text two hours before you woke up.
“I’m safe. I miss you too. You don’t know how much I’m looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.”
You sigh and put your head down in the pillow.
You put your scarf on snug and walk outside, Edward holds the car door open.
“I can’t do it.” you say shaking your head, staring at the road ahead.
“Did you talk to him?” he asks.
“He texted me this morning. It will crush him.” you say quietly as you looked out of the window.
“Worse will crush him.” he says with one hand on the wheel, shaking his head a bit at the thought of the worse outcome.
You keep your hands in your lap. You thought super hard for solutions as Edward kept on driving. You kept your eyes out of the window.
You didn’t expect hugs to come when Carlisle answered the door. He looked to you and then to his son in great surprise, speaking next to a smiling Esme, “What a wonderful surprise.”
Alice and Jasper come in behind you two, Carlisle pleased to see them as well.
“Let me guess..This was Alice’s idea.” he asks in a knowing tone.
“Was it that obvious?” she asks.
“Yes. You managed to bring Y/N here.” he says chuckling.
“Emmett and Rosalie will be here in a moment. They’re out hunting.” Esme says on behalf of their absence.
Talks of how you’ve been have been brought up. Edward help boast about what you’ve done here so far once the opportunity came. Carlisle got a kick out of learning from Alice that you even sketched designs with her.
Just then, Emmett and Rosalie enter, their eyes surprised at the company.
Alice poses a little, “Surprise!”
Emmett was happy to see everyone, Rosalie was iffy. She still says a polite hello to you. Emmett even surprised you with a hug.
After hearing how the rest of the Cullen family was enjoying New York so far, you asked for the bathroom.
You didn’t have to use it. You needed to think. You sat on the toilet with the lid down as you rest your arms on your knees.
After you got yourself together, you come back into the room with everyone looking at you. Rosalie was clenching her jaw as if she was shut down about something.
“Is something on me?” you ask self cautiously as you look down at your clothes.
Chuckles comes out from different mouths as Esme reassures you with a smile and says, “No, dear.”
“We were just having a friendly discussion.” Rosalie says and you detect the sarcasm. You decide to play her game.
“Rosalie.” Edward says firmly.
“Oh. About what?” you ask her with a straight face. She takes a look at you as the room fell silent.
“I’m afraid, we don’t have time for pets.” Rosalie says and you narrow your eyes and before you could take a step forward, Edward is already in front of you in a flash.
He gave Rosalie one look and she backed off. You watched as she fixed her hardened face and watch as she took her eyes away from his, looking down and Emmett rubs her shoulder, “Babe just apologize.”
“Sorry.” Rosalie says almost too quietly but, luckily you were able to still hear it.
“Come on, this is a happy moment.” Emmett says to liven up the room.
Edward turns around and looks down at you.
Following you as you walked off to the side, he asked a tense, “Are you alright?”
Your back is leaned against the wall as your arms are crossed.
Smiling a bit to not let anyone see you sweat, “Why wouldn’t I be?”
This eases him as he brings his own small smile.
“Don’t worry about Rosalie. She’s like that with almost everyone.”
You shift a little, “It’s alright…And no, I’m not saying that just to cover something up.” you say as you take a look at his face. He brings on a look of amusement. You look at his shirt covered chest.
“Can I show you something?” he asks.
“Depends. Is it bad?” you ask as you look back up.
“No. Not at all.” he says as he steps out of the secluded home. You follow him out. Before you could blink, he takes your arm and puts his around him so you’re on his back. You’re hearing nothing but whizzing sounds. You don’t notice your eyes were squeezed shut until you hear in a steady voice, “Open your eyes, it’s okay.”
You slowly open your eyes to see nothing but red, orange and yellow surrounding you. The leaves moved fast past you and you clutched onto Edward as he maneuvered through the trees with inhumane speed. You let your body relax as you noticed that you’ve never seen a view like the one you’re seeing now. It felt like you were floating with him as he ran with speed as your eyes take in the sight.
His movements slow as he makes his way to the top of a waterfall. The water falling is heard in your ears as you slide off of his back. He takes your wrist gently, guiding you to a spot that’s desirable.
“What do you think?” he asks.
“I have….No words.” you say as you continue to look around.
You both look down at the waterfall, you tilt your head a little as you observe it. During your observance, Edward got a peak of what you were thinking. It wasn’t words of course, but colorful ideas. He was very much interested as he focused on that more than the nature sight in front of him.
“Wow. Beautiful.” you breathe as you look to comment to him about the sight.
“Indeed.” he quietly comments back to you.
You sigh out a bit and take some steps. You shrug a little as you watch the sight, “I guess, I gotta get to work on something. If I’m staying here, might as well make the most of it.”
“So, this means you’re taking up Larry’s offer?”
“Yeah,” you say, “I might as well.”
“You wanted to anyway.” he says as if he’s known you since forever.
“I wanted to go home.” you say. He gives you look that makes you then say, “What?”
“You wouldn’t have been that upset if you didn’t want to.” he says.
“You don’t know what you’re talking about.” you say calmly say.
“So, tell me. Why did your mood change? Why were you crying?”
“Edward, please.” you say with your eyes closed.
“Y/N, I’m just trying to understand why you won’t just be selfish for once. This is your dream, not anyone else’s.” he says.
“Yes. It is my dream. So, you can’t tell me what to do with it. If it weren’t for your kind, my boyfriend would still be a normal boy. He would be here with me right now!” you say with frustration.
“It was bound to happen if it was in his bloodline. Just like he can’t help who he is, some of us can’t either. Like me. I didn’t ask for Carlisle to bite me.” he says stepping forward. You look down as you remember his story.
“After all of this is over, will me and your family, including yourself, go our separate ways?” you ask as you look at the leaves that hung from the branches. A leaf that you’re watching slowly falls and you hear Edward say, “I don’t know. I hope not.”
“Why?” you question genuinely.
“It’s just how I feel.” he says.
You look to him.
“Edward, I just want to let you know, it will be Paul everytime.” you say.
“I just want to let you know, it should be you everytime.” he says.
You stuffed your hands in your pockets. He walks further up and you follow him to not get lost.
A large rock is near, he lifts you and sits you on it before you could process his movements. He leans his body beside very close to your legs. You both can still clearly see the waterfall.
“I do feel like…I am your pet.” you say.
“Y/N.” he says in a voice that makes you jump just a little, with you looking at him, he didn’t like the accusation at all.
“Look at it from the outside looking in.” you say.
“You’re not.” he says firmly holding your eyes in his for a moment before he takes his eyes away, “You’re more than that. I don’t want to hear you say that again.”
“How did Bella take the breakup?” you ask.
He shakes his head a little with a slight grimace, “It wasn’t a breakup.”
“Edward, do you really expect me to believe that? I saw how she would look at you.” you say.
“I dazzle people. I can even make you look at me like that if I wanted to but, I won’t.” he says.
“That’s kind of messed up to do that to her. She seemed to be in love with you.” you say.
“She’s stubborn. I told her to stay away. She was intrigued but, in her defense she couldn’t help it. Me leaving is the best thing to happen to her. Whenever you see her again, you will find that I’m telling the truth.” he says.
You don’t say anything as you dangle your legs as you look ahead.
“You can’t make me look at you like that. I’m tied to Paul for life.” you say in disagreement of his accusation.
Edward chuckles, “Don’t get too confident Y/N.”
You look at him and he displays a look that shows his own confidence in his abilities.
“I dazzle you.” you point out with disagreement and look away with a smirk.
“Do you?” he asks and he’s right in your eyesight. The amber eyes burn into your eyes as you nod with confidence. You peer at him with a smug look. His liquid gold eyes swam in your eyes as you were focused on not being swayed. You wanted to take a good look at him. His eyes really being the color of an amber gem was so strange but with the autumn background, it looked as if it was an avant-garde idea. The slow shimmer of his skin was on display as he slowly blinked.
“Nice try.” you say as close your eyes a bit with a light chuckle.
“I didn’t do anything.” he says to you quietly with a slight smirk, taking long and good look at you. You slide forward to get off but two hands hold you up to set you down gracefully on your feet.
“I could’ve done it myself.” you say as you walk along the earthy path.
“I meant to compliment you.” he says after some time. You look at him so he can continue.
“You’re quite observant for a human. You have the ability to see the beauty in the unordinary. Don’t lose this ability.” he says.
As you thought about what he said, he took his moment to grab your hand and make your body go right back onto his back. He flings himself through the trees and starts to run back to the home where his family was.
He slows to a stop and you slide off of his back. You didn’t want to go straight inside so you stalled outside. You walked a bit to his car. As you stared at the sleek design, you say out loud in a calm voice, “Everything’s too perfect.” He nods to you as you were correct. The same thought ran through his mind once before.
“Do you want to drive it?” he then asks as you looked ahead at the hood of his car. It shined even though it was a cloudy day. It looked as if it were never touched.
“No way.” you say shaking your head at it. Edward chuckles as you gawk a bit at the thought of driving the vehicle.
He reached into his own pocket and opened the car door.
“At least around the house.” he says in persuasion.
You suck in a breath as he tossed the keys and you caught them.
You placed your hands on the steering wheel as the engine purred smoothly.
“It rides so smooth for a vintage car. What year is it?” you ask as you cruised.
“1954 Corvette.”
“Nice.” you say as you peered out of the windshield of the convertible.
Edward groans a bit as the wind made the gate start to swing to a close. “I got it.” you say as you hop out of the car and push it a bit to make it open wider.
You turn around and Edward is in the driver seat. You frown a bit as you then slid onto the hood of his car. He finds this funny. You do not.
“I thought I was driving?” You ask narrowing your eyes a bit and you see a flash of white coming from his mouth.
You noticed that the car was moving gently as he then raised one hand on the edge of the windshield. You slap his hand in a chastised way and he chortled out as you then grip onto his hand, still cautious of sliding off. But, you were balanced as he worked the wheel and braked back in the parking space in front of the home. He’s then out of the car in a flash, right beside you and takes the same hand to lift you up. A surprised gasp comes out of your mouth as your stomach was on his shoulder. You lift your upper body a bit and put your arms around his neck to hold on and he held his hands on your back.
You were now sliding down and his face was close, so you leaned your head back, his lips barely missed your throat as you felt them brush against your skin. You felt it was accidental but you weren’t too sure. You’re placed on ground onto your feet with grace.
Looking up at him, “You think you’re so cool.”
The statement only fed his confidence, displaying his own smug demeanor.
You take your one arm off from around him and walk to the fountain that had a perfectly posed statue that was wet from the water pouring from out of it. Sitting on the granite, you hear the soft sounds of the water pouring.
It was an interesting feeling that you were feeling. It was almost serenity but you were too sure. The property seemed to fit the family so well. Spacious, also isolated as you could only see the groomed acres of field and orange and yellow leaves that were hung and scattered on the grass around the trees. The home had a cottage touch to it. It was someone’s dream home that looked straight out of a brochure.
“Do you have other vintage cars like that?” you ask him as he skipped a small pebble into the fountain water. You watch it make a small splash.
“Yes. I collect some.” he answers.
“Is that another one of your hobbies?” you ask him and watch him break a small crooked grin and nod.
You felt a buzz in your pocket as you rose to a stand. Alice sends you a photo. A soft groan emits from you as you look at your phone, a picture of Edward lifting you from the car.
“You look like you’re about to body slam me.” you say as you playfully frown.
“It does not.” he says with an amused look and touched his hand on a small spot on your back.
You heard Alice before you could step into the home.
“You didn’t take pictures of what you saw up there.” she says.
“It’s nice to see you too.” you say and soft chuckles are heard.
You look over to see Jasper and Emmett in a chess match. Now knowing Jasper’s power, you wondered if he could affect his opponents while playing. You wondered if there was a rule in place within the family from using powers during games.
When you turned to look elsewhere, you didn’t notice that Alice had you in a hug until she unwrapped her arms.
She then stands back and takes your hands, “Are you hungry?” she asks.
She leads you into the kitchen without waiting to hear your answer. You weren’t too sure though. You took in the scenery of Esme standing at the large kitchen island, putting what seems to be fresh vegetables into the clear bowl of salad. Rosalie was pouring a bowl of pasta sauce into a pot on the stove.
“She hasn’t eaten anything today.” Edward says. You shoot him a dirty look. This doesn’t affect him as he peered down at you.
“At all? That’s not good. It’s almost after the afternoon!” Esme says with concern but in a motherly tone.
“I just forgot.” you sheepishly admit.
Rosalie to your surprise raised an eyebrow as she bubbled out a small chuckle.
“A human who forgets to eat.” Edward jokes. With your arms folded you take steps towards him, “I’ve been stressed. How could I remember?” you hiss at him.
You felt Alice’s fingers place on your shoulders as she massages a bit, “That’s why you’re snappy. Eat and your levels will come down.” she says.
You walk a bit over to Rosalie to peer into the pot.
“It’s pasta. How could one mess it up?” she says to you with a look.
“We shall see.” you say with a shrug.
“It’s fresh sauce. I helped crush the tomatoes.” Alice chirps.
You watch Esme put salad onto a plate and hand it toward you with a warm smile. It was salad. You were grateful that it was easy to make. You didn’t have to pretend it was good.
One by one, they filed out of the room as Edward took a seat next to you. He had handed you a small block of cheese and a handheld cheese grater. As you made the cheese fall over the pasta sauce that on the pasta on your plate, he tells you, “They are hunting.”
“You’re not going with them?” you ask as you twirl your fork.
He shakes his head a little, “I fed earlier. I will go later on tonight.”
“I really didn’t like how you put me on the spot like that.” you say after you swallow.
He says with a crooked grin, “You have to take care of yourself.”
“Easy for you to say.” you say as you look down at your plate.
“You know, I can’t play chess with any of my family members.” he says to you.
“Oh, yeah.” you say in realization, “I can only imagine the times your opponent quit.”
Edward actually chuckles at some of the memories of his siblings giving up. He could only read their next move.
“Think about Alice.” he says.
“That must suck.” you say to him chuckling as well and he joins in.
“Should we play? You’re the only one who I can’t read your next move.” he offers to you and perks up with hope.
You froze a bit, you then shake your head as you scooped the last bit of pasta on your plate.
“You don’t know how to play?” he asks.
“I…I can play. I just…Can’t play with you.” you say.
“I don’t understand.” he says with knitted eyebrows. You rise up and place your dishes into the sink.
He follows you into the living room. The game pieces are back to their original spots. The chess pieces were made of glass instead of the wood you were used to.
“That’s me and Paul’s thing. It’s…One of the first games we played when we met.” you say as you remember the moments he laughed at his victories. You could remember as if it were yesterday.
“Did you beat him a lot?” he asks.
“Pfft. As if. I haven’t won a single game against him.” you say.
“Try me out.” he says. You look at him as he sits in one of the swivel chairs at the small corner table that had the game ready to be played.
“Edward…” you say and shake your head.
You sit on the plush couch. You noticed he hasn’t moved. You hear a soft clink on the glass game. You turn around with your knees on the couch and see that he’s playing it by himself.
“You’re really playing by yourself.” you point out to him.
“It’s what I do anyway.” he says with a small shrug. He reached over the other team and makes a move based on his recent move.
You sighed as you turn back around. It looked depressing.
You flop in the chair and he slides the pieces back into the correct places.
You lean forward as he goes first. You decide to just copy what he does. If he lived longer, he definitely had time to perfect this game.
You bounce your leg a bit as you noticed him taking your pieces but, you were satisfied with his shocked look when you took his queen. You couldn’t help your smirk.
You kept asking yourself, “What would Paul do?”
Your own question was answered when space was open for you to make one move and you jump out of your seat with excitement, “Check mate.”
He looks at the board with a soft grin, happy to have place a real game in what he felt like was in ages.
“I let you win.” he says and you say, “Nice try, you did not.” You do a small shimmy around him, you couldn’t believe it.
You walk over to the couch and sit down with a smile.
He sits down next to you and you turn to him, “I can’t believe I whooped a vampire.”
He placed a hand on your face in an immature way that made him laugh a bit at your squeal from the coldness. Your hands is on his wrist as you pull it away.
“When is your birthday?” he asks as he sits back.
“In a couple of weeks. Why?” you ask.
“It’s a great thing to know.” he says.
You tell him the date, which makes you ask, “Do you and your family celebrate your birthday every year?”
He lifts one shoulder a bit, “The last of our family to have a real birthday was Emmett’s. In 1935.”
“Jesus.” you whisper out.
“When is your birthday?” you then ask with your head on the back of the couch. He seemed hesitant as he silently moved his lips a bit before answering.
“So, it passed. Why didn’t you celebrate?”
“Celebrate. I can’t exactly eat cake.” he says showing his smile.
“Hm..You could place candles on your mountain lion.” you say to him and you both share a laugh. You didn’t realize how the sky was darkening until the rest of the Cullen family had entered.
“I should take you back.” he says to you. You nod as you rise up.
Esme and Carslile hug you at the same time from each side.
“It was so nice to see you.” Esme rings out.
“It’s nice to see you doing well.” Carslile says. They step out and peer at you. They looked like proud parents.
Emmett gives you a bear hug, swaying you, which makes you laugh.
“Be careful with her.” Edward says.
As you land on your feet, Emmett pays him no mind as you laugh at his annoyed face.
You were shocked that Rosalie stepped forward.
“Your pasta was good. Thank you. Thank you Esme. I enjoyed everything.” you say. Rosalie gives you a quick but genuine hug and steps out and flicks her blond hair as she goes back to Emmett’s side.
“Great. I can finish your outfit for tomorrow.” Alice says as you are now outside about to enter Edward’s car. He held the door open.
“What’s tomorrow?” you ask.
“You meet with Larry at his office. Trust me, this outfit will make you look simply professional.”
“I want to be comfortable. I want to be able to breathe too.” you say.
“I know.” she says and gives you a hug. Jasper waves goodbye before departing with Alice.
After a shower, you had to face reality. You paced a bit before turning on your laptop. You decide to check your email to stall time. Larry emails you saying he will be by his office at a certain time if you wanted to drop off your signed contract.
You grab the sheet and grab a nearby pin. You scribble your name and push it to side.
You sigh and push the call button. The soft sound of the trill of the call is heard.
Paul comes into view.
“Hey.” you say with a small smile.
“Hey.” he says tiredly. He looked rough.
You frown a bit, “Is everything alright? You look like you haven’t slept in years.”
“No. I need you in my bed.” he says with a deep sigh.
You peer at him through the screen and he comments, “At least you look good. You look happy.”
“I do?” you ask and he nods.
“How’s patrol going? You only get like that if threats are running rampant.” you say to him.
He looks to the side, “It’s…Honestly kicking all of our asses. Jacob might even phase sooner than we thought. We even have a new pack member.”
“Really? Who?” you ask.
“Embry. His best friend. This shit turned into a soap opera. Apparently nobody knows who’s this kid’s father is so now the elders are trying to narrow it all down to who it is.”
“Wow. I missed all of the scoop.” you say.
He chuckles a bit, “You definitely did. Don’t worry when you come home, you’ll get all of the details.”
You nod and he noticed you get quiet.
“What’s wrong with you?” he asks.
“Nothing.”
“I hate it when you lie.” he says.
You look at the camera, “Nothing is wrong. You don’t think I should wait until the threat is gone?”
He looks down for a bit, “I mean..The leech we’re chasing isn’t going to touch you. We chase her down to the Canadian border when she does come. It’s like she’s taunting us and she gets away every time.”
“Everytime?” you ask to be sure.
“Everytime.” he says staring back at you. He takes a look at you before asking, “What did you do today?”
“I went to Ithaca.” you admit.
“Where’s that?”
You tell him how it’s only a couple of hours from where you currently are.
“What made you go there? What did you even do?”
“I was bored. I had no duties today. I seen this beautiful waterfall. I should’ve taken pictures.” you say a little bummed.
You quickly say something before he asked more questions, “I have something to tell you.”
“What is it?” he asks.
You immediately get nervous and you swallow as you slowly slide the paper on the desk to you. He waits until you are able to look back at him.
“I…I signed it.”
“Signed what?” he asks.
“I took the offer.” you say quietly.
“What?” he asked so you can say it louder.
You clear your throat. “I took..The offer.” you say this time with clarity but you upped your volume.
He lets out a breath as he didn’t say anything.
“I know, that this is…”
“This is fucked up.” he says.
“Paul-”
“No!” he firmly says.
You place your head in your hands before lifting back up.
“This is what I’ve been working for. This is for us. I’m going to do nothing share the fruits of my labor with you.” you say.
“Bullshit.” he says shaking his head.
“It’s not!” you say and you scoff, “There’s nothing like that in Washington.”
“What did you tell me when we first met? It was one of the first things you told me.” he says with bass.
“I told you that this was my dream.” you tell him.
“No. You told me you had everything you needed here. Correct?” he says. The correct memory of you telling him that, hit you with a pang. You nod.
“So what the fuck changed?” he asks.
“That was before I knew what was here. I’m…I’m being selfish.”
“Really fucking selfish. I haven’t gotten any sleep since you’ve been here. You coming back home was the main thing that was keeping me going.” he says and ends it with a bang as you knew it was from his hand hitting on the table from where his device was sitting on.
“It’s been like that for me too. I’ve been stressed out. I love this.” you breathed out.
His gaze is piercing you through the screen as he’s studying you. The silence was deafening in your ears as you fidget with the pen.
“It feels like I’ve lost you.” he says as he shakes his head in a slow disapproval.
“That’s ridiculous.” you say and you even laugh a little.
“No, something’s not right.” he says narrowing his eyes a bit.
“I can say the same for you. I mean, would you really want me home, worrying about you chasing a vampire that keeps getting away while I sit at home and can’t do anything? Here, I can at least keep my mind occupied. I really need this.” you say and whisper out the last part.
“Did you sleep with him?”
“Gross, Paul. No.” you say as you roll your eyes.
“Look at you. You were going to cancel even coming there and here you are fighting me to stay there. It doesn’t. Make. Sense.” he says.
“It might not make sense for you, but it makes sense for me.” you tell him.
“Y/N. Come home.” he says.
You look at him. He looks back.
“Y/N.” he says again.
“Did you read my letter?” you ask him.
He stared at you. His face was slowly turning into a scowl.
“No. I didn’t. You were supposed to come home and read it to me yourself.” he says to you.
“You can read it.”
Him suddenly standing kind of caught you off guard as he stood to pace. You can still hear him, “If you don’t come home, fuck what Sam says, I’m coming to get you.”
Your mind starts racing and your heart starts pounding as you thought of Victoria following him. If she was taunting them, it was definitely to pass her immortal time. She wasn’t going to let up after finding out a pack of wolves exist.
“Paul, I’m not dying. I’m just working.” you tell him.
He’s back in the camera and actually sitting back down. He says, “Do you love this more than me?”
“That’s not fair.” you say.
“Answer the question.”
“I’m not answering that! You know how much this means to me.” you say, feeling a tad bit fustrated.
“Do you even love me?” he asks with confusion.
“This went far.” you say to him.
“I want to know. I want to know why you didn’t say it back.” he says.
“Okay, stop. I don’t want either of us to say things we don’t mean-“
“Well I fucking meant it when I told you I love you.” he says, “I do. I love you.”
You drop your head and you close your eyes as you sucked in a breath.
“I’m in love with you Paul.” you tell him.
“But, do you love me?” he asks you.
Silence hung in the air as you try to open your mouth. You didn’t want to say it just to say it. You felt it was a very strong word. It wasn’t a word that was meant to be thrown around.
You looked up and Paul’s crushed face was something you will never forget. It actually made you weak and hot tears began to sting your eyes. All you could think of doing was risking the consequences, but the possibility of becoming his mortal enemy was definitely worse.
“I’ll talk to you later.” he says without energy.
You place your hands in your face to cover up your eyes, you then hear the hang up button being pushed.

1D x Reader - Beach Day
Summary: After months of hard work, you and the five boys get a day off and head to the beach for some fun.
Word Count: 837
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s rare for you and the boys to be allowed free time to go out while on tour. You’re either rehearsing, doing sound check, performing, or working on recording the next album.
When you’re not working, you’re forced to stay in the hotel. Sometimes you’re permitted to hang together, but other times you’re all relegated to your own rooms. Without fail, it only takes a few weeks of this for you all to feel like prisoners.
You’re in Italy for a couple of shows, and it looks beautiful outside. It’s mid-morning on a day off. You’re standing on the patio of your hotel room, breathing in fresh air and wishing you were swimming in the gorgeous blue water you can see just across the street.
You sit on the ground when suddenly you hear a sliding door open to your right. Louis steps out onto his deck and greets you. “Hey there Dolly,” he says, calling you by the nickname you’d earned due to your Dolly Parton obsession.
“Hey, what are you up to?” you ask.
“Well, I was keeping pretty busy staring at the wall but I started seeing shapes in the wallpaper so I figured I should go outside before I fully lose my mind,” he replies.
“Well I’m glad you didn’t go all Yellow Wallpaper on us.”
“It’s only a matter of time before we all go mad, being locked up like this,” he says and you nod in agreement.
He gives you a look and starts to climb over the railing that separates the two decks. “What are you doing? You’re going to hurt yourself!” you exclaim.
“Relax love, we’re only on the second floor. I could easily jump to the ground from here.” Another mischievous look crosses his face. “What do you say to a jail break?”
“Are you insane?”
“Nope, but I will be if I have to keep staring at that beach that’s just out of reach. C’mon, go get your stuff and let’s escape for a couple hours.”
You take in his idea, and while you hate breaking rules, you’re a teenager. You’re wired to be just a little bit rebellious. You agree and both of you rush to pack a small bag with essentials.
“Alright, I’ll climb down first and then help you,” Louis says.
Of course, the second he starts to go over the railing, Paul happens to walk by on a nearby path.
“And just what do you think you’re doing?” he says.
Well crap, you think to yourself. Now we’re caught. You all love Paul, he’s like a big teddy bear, but still he’s head of security. Which means your plan is completely foiled, and you’re likely to get in a heap of trouble with management.
Even Louis can’t talk back to Paul, and explains, “We’re trying to prevent insanity. There’s a perfectly good beach right there and we’re forced to stare at it. It's cruel, Paul. Psychological torture.”
The man looks at the two of you for a moment and says, “Give me one hour. I’ll see what I can do.” With that he walks away. You and Louis look at each other in confusion, but you both trust the man so you decide to sit and wait.
Thirty minutes later, there’s a text in the group chat that the six of you have with Paul. It reads “Roger and I will be up in fifteen minutes to take you all to the beach.”
True to his word, the security guards show up and within minutes you and the boys are setting up in the sand.
“Last one in the water’s a rotten egg!” Niall shouts and the six of you all start running. You’re grateful for Louis tackling Liam, ensuring you won’t come in last place. Moments later the two of them decide to become a team and challenge the rest of you in a game of chicken. You and Zayn being the least competitive decide to be partners and quickly lose every round. You don’t even care about repeatedly splashing into the chilly water, just happy to be normal for a while.
Back on the sand, you, Harry, and Niall work together to make a sand castle. It may not be perfect, but it sure is made with love.
Lunch gets delivered to you all, meaning you get to stay and hang out even longer. After eating, you all set out your towels and nap, warmed by the sun's rays. The two security guards watch over the group closely, and if Paul takes a couple pictures so you can reminisce on the day later, well no one needs to know that.
That evening you all go back to your rooms to shower and change before meeting up for dinner. For one day, this feels like a vacation, rather than the constant work and stress you normally feel.
You’re all just a tad sunburnt at the show the following night, but a day spent having fun with your best friends is worth it.

Notes on Nowhere Boy
Finally posting the long version of the close-watch I did for @sleeper9's Fete zine. The bad thing about me is I hate spending money and love pirating shitty quality versions of movies. The good thing about the Beatles fandom is we're used to dealing with grainy pics. Anyways, here goes!
The opening ten seconds really do set the tone for the film, and here's why. It's the opening of A Hard Day’s Night where the boys are running from a hoard of screaming fans and George biffs it. John sees him go down, laughs, and keeps running. Only here, it's just John. George’s fall has been erased, making John into a cocky, if slightly insane, little lone hero.
Mimi: do I ignore you? No. So please don't ignore me. Me: ummm, yeah you do ignore him, Mimi. Enough to leave deep psychological scars. But it's fine. Moving on.
Ugh, Uncle George is so sweet! I wonder how much of John's sweetness he learned from him. I wish we knew more about him.
Actually that was Jim that set up a cord running into Paul's room from the radio downstairs. But it fits Uncle George's character, so it works.
Why did they make Mendips look a lot more working class than it actually was? No fancy iron fence, no pretty hexagonal outcropping, no stained glass veranda?
Aaron Taylor Johnson is nailing it though. The laugh sounds very John, and this posture? Perfect.
Okay but if that doesn't heartbreakingly encapsulate John and Mimi I don't know what does. Uncle George has just died. John goes to Mimi, wraps her from behind in a tight embrace and lets out a sob. Her response is to push him away. “Please, let's not be silly. If you want to do that, go to your room.” Alright, it's making me feel things, it's winning me over.
John making his cousin Stan go and ask Mimi where Julia is is also extremely accurate. Always had someone to do the dirty work for them, all of them.
Mimi's concern as John's going to visit his mother in the “bad” part of town is very good to have in too. “And you will be careful, hmm? Careful who you talk to.” And John's response, “it's only Blackpool, Mimi.” It's true. It could've been Speke, or the Dingle. Which Quarryman did I read saying Mimi didn't like John even leaving Woolton?
John's hurt little face when he finds out his mum, all this time, has been less than a bus ride away is a very clever way to show us his painful confusion about the whole situation.
Trying to remind myself that this is a very anti-Julia pro-Mimi movie that will try to make me think she's crazy. But it sure is doing a hell of a good job. She hasn't seen him in years and suddenly she's hand feeding him desserts, kissing him every chance she's got, flirting all over the place. “Do you know what it means? Rock and Roll? Sex.” “Don't tell Mimi, alright? This is our little secret. Promise me.” And to a poor affection-starved boy, that's going to feel good. That's going to put thoughts in his head like “this is how it should be”. I mean I know she was wild and fun and sexy and irresponsible. And I know John did have weird thoughts about her. But I hope she wasn't actually this crazy.
But the weird Freudian thing aside, he's got to be so terribly confused hearing the woman who effectively abandoned him declaring her love for him. Between Mimi and Julia, John would've had such a messed up idea of what that word meant.
The Daily Howl, my absolute beloved!!
Nowhere Boy John watching Elvis: damn I've gotta get the girls screaming for me like that! Actual John watching Elvis: he's so beautiful! He's perfect! I'm in love!
Also I do not think sixteen year old John was that good at fingering. Just saying.
This part always drops my heart cold into my stomach. Poor John. Poor poor baby. You can hear his little boy voice calling, “mum? It's me.” And she mutters, very annoyed, “go away.” Again. I have to remind myself that this is a purposely negative portrait of Julia. But then. It is true that she was a mostly absent and wholly undependable figure in John's life.
Sometimes dialogue is absolutely perfect. Like this – “Aw, why couldn't God make me Elvis Presley?” “Cause he was saving you for John Lennon.” “Aw I'll get you back for that, God!” And this – “you haven't told Mimi, have you?” “No point going through her bullocks if I don't have to.” “Why? She has to go through yours.” “Yeah well I never asked her to, did I?”
Ugh this whole movie just hurts so bad! How he looks to Julia as Mimi is ordering him out of her house, just begging her to claim him this time. And she doesn't until he makes a stand for himself. And then, later. “How long can I stay?” Is met with nothing. Not even a fake “long as you want, love.” It really plays into the title of the film. This boy's got nowhere to call home. And then, the final straw. Look at his face as he hears Julia agree that he does in fact need to go back to Mimi's. If I did that kind of thing, I'd actually be crying right now. Fuck, why was I knit-picking, this movie is working so well.
As he's announcing he's leaving Julia's, John wants her to tell him to stay. To at least pretend it's not what she wants. And she doesn't even look at him. Imagine if they did something like this in the John biopic mirrored with a scene with Paul in the breakup?
He's just so adorable looking at that guitar like he can't believe it's real.
John's gathered the og Quarrymen in the bathroom and Pete goes “I take it we're not here for a communal crap.” Idk Pete, wouldn't put it past him. It's not far off what you all do already.
It's making the Quarrymen look kinda cool here, and I really want them all to be shit except John, just because that's what I get from Paul's description. Not that he's biased or anything. He could've been watching John play with Elton John and David Bowie and he'd still say everyone faded into the background.
Also Mimi would Not have been there. Not on her life.
Okay now we're sort of seeing them from Paul's perspective. Bunch of losers surrounding this inimitable shining star.
Accurate that the first thing John says to Paul is about jerking off.
The dynamic in general is just so well-done in this first scene. John instantly testing Paul. How much shit will he put up with? And Paul instantly having none of it, showing off, and winning John over.
All the other Quarrymen just know it's time to dust off the ole resume.
But! Paul's fete “audition” is so toned down for this film. Although of course, accounts vary. He did 20 flight rock, yeah. But he also did it on someone's borrowed right hand guitar turned upside down. And he did little Richard and played the piano, and tuned John's guitar for him. In one telling of it, John says he asked him to be in the group right there on the spot. So. Yeah.
But either way, watching John watch Paul is just gorgeously gay. It's giving extreme “Oooooh, he likes hiiiiiim!” It's actually illegal not to queerbate using Lennon/McCartney and I'm glad all moviemakers seem to understand the law.
Cut to “John, your little friend's here!” Can you imagine if they'd showed the “chalk and cheese” whirling dervish moment? Or Mimi making Paul use the back door? Those might change some thoughts and feelings in this movie.
And then we get the reciprocated “Oooooh, he likes hiiiiiim!” Moment as Paul's too busy checking out John’s buddy Holly Look to remember where he is, let alone what cord they're on. And it's so sweet because Paul's the first person who gives John the idea that his real self is actually cooler than his tough-guy act.
The little matching feet tapping?? Eee it's so cute!
But why miss the opportunity for them to sing in harmony here?
Sometimes the dialogue is extremely inaccurate. “So mummy’s cool about baby Paul wanting to be Elvis?” “Oh she would've loved it.” Like hell she would've. She would've been as disapproving as Mimi. Then again, maybe it is accurate for Paul to be lying about that.
“Well she – she sort of – died. You know, em. If we're gonna do this we should write our own stuff.” Okay yep there he is. That's Paul.
Also love how John gets his first calluses after Paul the bossy taskmaster comes into his life. (You know. And the reason to push himself and a person who cares enough to take the time to show him things and it makes John all dreamy staring at the stars that night etc) Anyway. It's perfect.
And the first gig we see after Paul joins is in a venue on a real stage with a much bigger audience, and the matching suits of course.
Mimi selling John's guitar because of a bad report card is like the lighter, kinder translation of what happened in reality when she had his dog put down while he was staying at Julia's.
So they kinda make up for not letting Paul sing etc by having him nail the guitar instead of screw up at this gig like he did irl.
And he's stealing Julia's attention, which is clearly Not okay with John. Reminds me of that quote of Paul's about how they were both in love with John's mum.
George is appropriately infantile. Good. Cutie.
The Quarrymen playing “That's Alright, Mama” as John's making up with Julia since she bought his guitar back for him. Okay. Very clever.
Paul does Not like John disrespecting his mother after the show for obvious reasons. (“I said something wrong now I long for yesterday.”) But clearly he doesn't have the full picture here. I wonder at what point irl Paul got a full run-down from John on his messed-up family life. Or did he just have to pull it together piece by piece over the years?
And of course he jumps to light Julia's cigarette. Boy was patting his pocket for a lighter like it was the race of his life. Mister steal your mum.
Here we are, ladies and gentlemen, Paul McCartney’s number two complaint about this movie: John was Not taller than him. How dare they? Slander.
That's one hell of a jacket.
At the party, John's of course pissed to find Paul serenading Julia in the kitchen. But Paul just wants a mommy so bad, John. Why can't you just let him have yours since you clearly don't want her? Right, because you really, really do. More than anyone can understand. But when you showed her that – how bad you wanted her to be your mum, not just a friend – she hurt you. Forced you to go through your abandonment all over again. So now you can't show that anymore.
The washboard over Pete's head is almost exactly accurate, isn't it? John does not handle people leaving him well.
Ugh his little voice cracking on the word “mum.” John Lennon is a poor poor baby and I will die on that hill.
I wonder how John did find out about Victoria and the real story of why he was with Mimi. No matter how, though, that's certainly a lot of mess for a young man to be carrying around with him all the time in his head.
“When your father came back from the merchant Navy, he wanted to try and save the marriage, but your mother would have none of it.” I do feel like we're going with Alf’s version of events here, the one he sold John in order to get into his good graces after he was famous. Which is, again, not fair to Julia. I wonder how little Julia feels about this movie.
In fact, I think this part – “who do you wanna be with, John? Do you wanna be with me or do you wanna be with your mum?” – has been categorically disproven. But it certainly does make for some high drama. And John himself did believe his father's story, so there has to be at least some emotional truth there.
Nowhere Boy John: There's no point in hating someone you love. I mean really love. IRL John: How do you sleep, you cunt?!
There he is. Art School John. Though he fell in love with every iteration of John, I think this one never left his head because he was one of the earliest Johns, and he was a John Paul had to fight for, you know, with all the Stu business and dead mother anger.
He really does an excellent job of playing John, though, when he's written right. “Woman took her kit off and we painted her breasts. Not actually physically. I got my eye on you two.” Ridiculous. Charming. Off- putting. Adorable.
Ignoring the fact that I prefer to think of “Hello, Little Girl” as being about Paul (“you never seem to see me standing there”) and they're making it about Julia, this is a lovely scene. With John somewhat unsure still of his songwriting abilities and Paul looking up at him from the floor full of admiration.
Oh he's gonna murder someone. To be fair, I think playing Julia's banjo at her funeral is exactly the type of insensitive thing Paul would do, because he just thinks and feels in music and it makes Sense to him even though of course it's going to piss John off.
Hilarious, and probably accurate tbh, that Paul's pissed John off so he gives Pete a bloody nose.
But here we go, the number one complaint about this movie from Paul, which I think is actually valid. John never hit him and that was important to both of them and it's disrespectful to portray it and play into the myth of their rocky, angry relationship.
But maybe in 2009 that's what it took for them to be able to show John Lennon and Paul McCartney in a genuine, loving embrace, crying into each other's necks about mothers. It has to be preceded by John punching Paul in the mouth.
If I was John's writing partner, my biggest beef with this movie would actually be the scene where they're recording ISOATD and making it look like John wrote it and played the guitar solo. But Paul's never even mentioned it. Which I guess really shows he cares far more about the legacy of his relationship with John than his career legacy. Which. If you mean more to Paul McCartney than his fucking music? Well then you must be just about important enough to have your own movie.
This is really the Vote for Mimi Smith campaign, isn't it? Putting across the screen the fact that John called Mimi every week until he died as “Mother” plays in the background is brutal. Ouch. But it's true. “It's Mimi time.”

What do you think about Paul meeting Jason and being completely confused by this VERY WEIRD CHILD
All demigods are werid. Paul's beginning to learn that just comes with the terrority at this point.
However, Jason Grace is werid even by demigod standards.
He's polite, unwaveringly polite to him. Only speaking when he's spoken too. It almost feels like he's one of Paul's students, but even they don't treat him with such respect.
And maybe Paul would accept that's just how Jason is, except it feels off.
It's the same feeling he got when he first met Percy. Percy Jackson is not polite, not in the slightest.
But he was with Paul, for a while. Percy didn't know how to act around him, he was nervous and didn't want to mess anything up
When Paul looks at Jason he feels this is a similar situation.
Because there are moments Jason's mask falls. Like when Leo and Jason laughs so hard he almost falls off his chair.
They'll be talking about an adventure and Jason will chime in with his own witty remarks and comments.
Those are the moments Jason is himself. But the second Jason realises they have an audience he goes silent. And it's not just Paul, Jason treats Sally the same.
Jason doesn't make a sound when he walks. But he will deliberately make his footsteps loud to not startle anyone.
He's helped Paul with his lessons plans before. Apparently he's used to dealing with young kids and organising activities at his camp.
Paul has to stop himself from saying Jason's a kid too. It doesn't escape him how Percy and the rest of his friends get uncomfortable when Jason mentions his camp.
Jason knows very little about modern technology. He's wicked smart and knows more about wolves than Paul thought was possible.
He's.. Taken aback when Jason shrugs and says yeah my mum was one. Percy explains it to him and Paul feels, not for the first time the urge to hug this poor child.
But knows Jason would probably not like that.
He's rather touch starved, but luckily his friends make up for that. By hugging him, putting an arm around him and such.
Jason will sleep over and Paul will walk into the kitchen to make coffee before work. And find him doing one armed push ups in the living room.
"Jason?!"
"Oh, hi Mr Blofis."
"It's just Paul kid, what... What are you doing?"
"Training."
"Right... Do you, want some coffee?"
"Oh, erm... If that's alright."
Paul's not sure he'll ever get used to that sight. But Jason's a good kid, and Paul knows he's grown on him.

OMG HIII!! I see you write for KISS now. I lit hit the jackpot with your page omgg..
My request is Ace Frehley x Reader who is Pauls younger sister? Like Paul is super overprotective of her and yeah do as you wish with that.
SECRET .
; pairing ; ace frehley x reader
; note ; i'm so happy i love these all 4 of these sillies so much i love you anon
; warnings ; none
paul’s overprotective nature kicked in as he introduced you to the band – his closest friends.
ace, with his signature grin, was the first to speak up.
"hey there, little sis. paul's been keepin' you a secret," he said, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
paul shot ace a warning look. "ace, this is y/n. my sister. and she’s off limits, got it? and that goes for both of you too." he said looking over at gene and peter.
ace raised his hands in mock surrender. "alright, alright. sister is off-limits, i hear you loud and clear."
after that, surprisingly, they respected his wishes. and from that day forward, the band welcomed you like an honorary member.
as the years rolled by, your friendship with the band, especially ace, got a lot deeper, and the once-clear lines of "off-limits" became a really blurry mix. late-night parties turned into lingering glances, and inside jokes became a secret language only the two of you understood.
one day, during a rehearsal break, you found yourself sitting next to ace. he leaned in, a sly grin playing on his lips. "y'know, y/n, if i didn't know any better, i'd say you're flirting with me."
you shot back with a playful smirk. "flirting? me? never. must be your imagination."
ace chuckled, his eyes lingering on yours. "imagination, huh? well, it's either that or you're developin' a serious crush on the spaceman."
you nudged him playfully. "please, ace, i think you've been spending too much time with those guitars. they're warping your sense of reality."
he leaned in closer, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "or maybe," he whispered, "reality’s finally catching up with the both of us."
a sudden throat-clearing sound broke the intimate moment. both you and ace turned to find gene and peter standing behind you, wearing knowing smirks.
"well, well, well," gene said, a wicked grin on his face. "looks like the lovebirds are finally figuring it out."
peter joined in, chuckling. "about time. we've been placing bets on when you two would stop dancin' around each other."
you shot ace a look of disbelief, and he just shrugged, a sheepish grin playing on his lips. "guess the secret's out, huh?"
gene raised an eyebrow. "oh, please. we've known for ages. paul, on the other hand, is a bit slow on the uptake."
peter nodded in agreement. "he's been clueless about the whole thing. you might wanna break the news to him, ace."
ace scratched his head, looking a bit guilty. "yeah, about that..."
gene and peter erupted into a chorus of exaggerated groans and mock complaints. "oh, great. just what we needed," gene lamented, rolling his eyes dramatically.
peter chimed in with a mock whine. "seriously, we're gonna need a whole new set of rules for this. 'off-limits' my ass."
you exchanged amused glances with ace as the duo continued their exaggerated complaints, their reactions more akin to little boys than seasoned rockstars.
ace raised his hands in mock surrender. "alright, alright, settle down. it's not like we planned this."
gene shot ace a deadpan look. "not planned? with those looks you've been giving each other, it's like a soap opera around here."
peter added, "next thing ya know, we'll be playin' at weddings instead a' concerts."
as the banter reached its peak, the door creaked open, and in walked paul, looking as stern as ever. the room fell silent as everyone turned their attention to him.
for a moment, paul just stood there, a confused expression on his face, scanning the room with a raised eyebrow. gene opened his mouth to say something, but before a single word escaped, peter delivered a swift punch to his arm, shutting him up instantly.
paul walked around the couch slowly, eyeing each of you with a piercing gaze, but still pretty confused. the tension in the room was palpable as he approached, his eyes locking onto ace and you.
without a word, paul continued to stare for what felt like an eternity. the room was filled with an awkward silence as paul made his way towards the door behind you guys.
as he exited and closed the door, the silence exploded into something else. gene and peter immediately started throwing hurling insults at each other.
"what the fuck, paul's gonna kill us!"
"did you see the look on his face?"
"fuck you!"
"what!?"
ace shot a glare at the duo. "you couldn't keep it together for two minutes, could you?" he grumbled.
peter shot back, "well, maybe if someone knew how t' control his fuckin' hormones!"
gene chimed in, "yeah, ace, keep it in your pants."
ace shot back, "at least i have hormones. there's no sign of any in your pants!" ace laughed, and peter joined in
"you guys are unbelievable," you sighed, shaking your head at the absurdity of the situation. "paul doesn't even know what's going on, and you're acting like a bunch of teenagers caught doing something they shouldn't."
gene scoffed. "you think he won't find out? he's got a sixth sense for these things."
"no he doesn-"
ace cut you off. "well, if he didn't know before, he sure as hell knows now. thanks, guys."
peter rolled his eyes. "was bound to happen sooner or later."
as time went on, your relationship with ace continued to progress. you managed to keep it a secret from paul, and surprisingly, peter and gene were respectful of your privacy.
one evening, as you and ace snuck from the band's after-party to have a moment on the rooftop, peter casually approached, pretending to be absorbed in his drumsticks.
peter smirked, glancing up from the sticks. "enjoyin' the view up here?"
ace chuckled, throwing an arm around your shoulder. "yeah, it's not bad."
peter raised an eyebrow, his eyes flickering between the two of you. "so, how long has this been goin' on anyway? like when'd you guys become official?"
you shot him a skeptical look. "you knew about us actually getting together?"
peter grinned. "of course, we fuckin' knew. we're not blind, y'know."
ace added with a smirk, "apparently, gene n' peter are still runnin' a betting pool on when paul would finally catch on."
you rolled your eyes. "figures."
peter leaned against the rooftop railing, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "you guys betta' be careful. if paul finds out, he might lecture ace on the dos and don'ts of dating his sister."
ace laughed. "i can handle paul. besides, he's still clueless. we've been.. discreet."
gene appeared out of nowhere, joining the conversation with a smirk. "discreet, my ass."
gene's comment was met with a collective eye roll from both you and ace. "yeah, yeah, laugh it up." ace retorted, waving him off.
peter added, "he's just jealous he's not parta' the love story."
the rooftop banter with gene and peter had lightened the mood, and the two troublemakers left you and ace alone under the night sky. as they vanished from sight, ace turned to you with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"well, that was interesting," he said, a playful grin on his face.
you laughed, shaking your head. "yup. those two are something else."
ace leaned in, his lips close to your ear. "you know what would be even more interesting?"
you raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on your lips. "enlighten me."
without another word, ace closed the gap between you, his lips meeting yours in a soft, lingering kiss. the world around you seemed to fade as the rooftop became an intimate space just for the two of you.
when you pulled away, the grin on ace's face told you everything you needed to know. "now, that was interesting," he said.
you chuckled, your fingers tracing the contours of his face. "very interesting."
the tender moment between you and ace was abruptly interrupted by the sound of a slamming door. both of you turned to see paul standing there, a furious expression etched on his face. the atmosphere shifted from sweet to tense in an instant.
"paul," ace began, attempting to defuse the situation, but paul held up a hand, cutting him off.
"don't.," paul seethed. "you thought i wouldn't find out?"
ace glanced at you briefly, then back at paul. "did gene and peter tell you?"
"what!?" paul's eyes widened in disbelief. "gene and peter knew? and they didn't tell me? what?"
you couldn't help but interject, frustration creeping into your voice. "why are you so mad? i'm an adult, and i can do whatever i want. it's not hurting me or anyone."
paul's anger seemed to waver as he looked at you, realizing the truth in your words. he took a deep breath and sighed, the tension in the palpable.
"i can't believe they knew and didn't say anything," paul muttered, his initial fury giving way to a sense of betrayal.
ace put a hand on paul's shoulder. "look, it wasn't their secret to share. we wanted to tell you when the time was right."
paul turned to ace, a mix of frustration and curiosity in his eyes. "so, when did this happen? how long have you two been… you know?"
ace grinned, sensing a change in paul's tone. "well, it's been a while, but we were tryna figure out the best way t' tell ya."
paul's expression softened. "you two? really?"
you nodded, a small smile forming. "yeah. he's been my best friend for so long, and we just realized that we care about each other in a different way."
paul's initial frustration gave way to a subtle grin. "ace, you sneaky son of a bitch. of all the people, it had to be you."
ace chuckled. "yeah, well, you know me."
paul laughed, shaking his head. "can't believe I didn't see this coming."
you playfully nudged paul. "surprise! now, are you okay with this?"
paul looked at both of you, a genuine smile on his face. "honestly, i'm sorta relieved. at least it's ace. i'd rather have my best friend dating my sister than some random guy. just promise me you'll take care of her, okay?"
ace gave him a mock salute. "you got it."
paul clapped ace on the shoulder. "alright, okay. now, go be happy or whatever."

Twilight- Unknowing: Chapter Three, Intruder
(Alice x Reader x Jasper)
[two] [three] [four]
"Hey [Name], Sam's been calling the line." Charlie tells me as I scarf down a buttered toast.
Ever since I found out that I can eat food again it's been my favorite thing to pass time.
Even if I don't need it. I've missed the taste of everything. "Mm," I finished the food in my mouth.
"What'd he say?" I ask before taking another bite of food.
Every single time I eat too I know I look like I haven't eaten in days. Like a starved child.
"Just that he needs to talk to you about something important." My dad simply shrugs his shoulders, taking a berry off my plate and popping it in his mouth.
"Think he's pregnant?" I jokingly ask only to get hit in my shoulder. "You're stupid." He shakes his head.
"What? I can't be a teen mom, dad. I'm telling you. He'd be on his own." I say with a mouthful of food.
"Yeah because we need another [Name] in the universe." Charlie sarcastically speaks aloud. I let out a gasp. "Rude." I finish off my plate, standing up to put it in the sink. "You should seriously speak with him soon, he's blowing up the line. I'm about ready to throw it away." He half-heartedly jokes, even though he was a little serious.
"I'll get to it soon." I sigh, I stretch out my limbs, twisting my sides.
"You've been gaining some muscle." Charlie suddenly says out loud. "You think?" I lift both my arms, flexing off the muscles I obviously knew were there. Just feeling a little cocky lately.
"Okay, show off." He nudges me.
I smile, grabbing my leather jacket from the hook, throwing it on. Bella comes downstairs and then I hear a car pull up.
"You wanna eat something, Bella?" Charlie asks, she only shakes her head, putting her sweater on as well. "Alright, you two have a good day." He tells us, we both wave on our way out the door.
At the school, I sit on my bike, waiting for Jasper and Alice. In my jacket I'm beginning to feel a little uncomfortable. It's tight against my arms, almost close to not zipping up anymore.
"Hey lovebug." I feel a hand land on my thigh, squeezing it tightly. "Hey." I smile back. I go to say something to Jasper as well but a roar of another motorcycle erupts into the parking lot.
Bella and Edward get out of the Volvo. Jacob climbed off his own bike, striding towards them. "Jake!" I furrow my eyebrows, watching my sister get excited to see her once best friend. I grip onto Alice's hand that was still on my thigh.
"Hey, Charlie said you left town." He states. "Yeah. To visit my mom, why?" Bella questions him back. "Just checking to see if you're still human." I lean back listening to their conversation. My arms crossed. "I'm coming here to warn you. If your kind come on our land again..."
"Wait, what?" Bella cuts him off, confused. I glance at my partners. They already told me what happened.
"You didn't tell her?" Jacob glares at Edward, this is where I stand up and join them. Alice and Jasper stay in proximity just in case.
"Just leave it alone, Jacob." I tell the wolf who seems shocked by my words. "Tell me what?" Bella asks.
"Emmett and Paul had a misunderstanding, there's nothing to worry about." Edward shortly explains.
'Listen to you. Did you lie to get her out of town too? I can't believe you got [Name] in on it too." Jacob scoffs in disbelief, I roll my eyes. "You should leave. Now." Edward warns him. I stand straighter, hands on my hips as I stand beside Edward.
"She has a right to know. She is the one the red-head wants." Jacob spits it out knowing that's exactly what we want hidden. "Victoria? Alice's vision." My sister realizes.
"We were trying to protect you." Edward tells her sincerely. "By lying to me. [Name] you too? You two are like- we're gonna talk about this." She points between Edward and I. "But, you. Why haven't you called me back?" Bella questions Jacob. "I had nothing to say." He answers.
"Well, I have tons." Bella walks closer to Jacob. "Hold on. Hey. Bella." Her boyfriend attempts to stop her.
"Edward, you have to trust me." She pleads with him. "I do trust you, it's him I don't trust." Edward exclaims. He lets her go and she jogs to Jacob, climbing on his bike.
"Hey, [Name]. Before I leave. You should really talk with Sam." He then smirks to himself as Bella wraps her arms around his waist. "Lose the grin, Jacob. We're just going for a ride." I hear my sister tell the boy.
"Hold on tight." He kick starts the bike, driving off.
As they drive past, Edward just watches. "Want me to go?" I look at him. He glances over at me, bowing his head slightly down.
"Your sister is stubborn." He then nods his head, motioning for me to go.
I headed over to my bike, Alice and Jasper were still standing there. "You can't go, [Name]." Is the first thing to leave Alice's mouth.
"Babe, it's alright. Would you rather Bella be on the rez alone? I'm the only one that can go and not get threatened." I remind her to which she glances up at Jasper but knows I'm right. Her eyes flickering back down to the ground.
"She's right," Jasper starts off at Alice then at me. "Just be careful please, darling." He brings me into a small kiss.
"Of course, I'm a fucking hybrid. Who's going to threaten me beside the Volturi?" I whisper, knowing only they could hear. Alice slaps my arm, even though she knows it's a joke she doesn't find it funny. Jasper does though which helps my ego a little bit.
"Alright, don't worry, my love. I'll call you right away when we leave the reservation." I promise her, kissing her cheek but before I can let go she pulls me in for another kiss. "Good." She mumbles under her breath, letting me go.
I get on my bike, kicking up the stand as I start it. "I love you both." I mouth, both of them smiling in return as I drive off.
Pulling into the rez, the energy was different than it had been before. People aren't glaring me down as I drive past. Instead I got smiles. Even if they were small. Billy was also already on his porch as if he had been expecting me even though Sam was the one who requested to speak with me through Jacob.
Speaking of, the large man is right behind the older one. To which I rolled my eyes at. "Hi, Billy." I smile, not acknowledging Sam.
"Well, you've gotten some muscle on you." Billy grins in return. I park my bike then flex my arms through the jacket I was wearing, just like I did with my dad.
"How's being a hybrid?" He rolls his wheelchair down to get closer to me as I was walking toward him.
"It's alright. Love being able to eat food again without it tasting like sand." I half-joked. There was definitely some truth to that sentence.
"I bet. I'm gonna have to set up a feast for you someday." He looks up at me.
"I would love that." I grinned. Then as quick as he was cheerful, it went quiet. Billy became solemn.
"You're always welcome here, [Name]. The pack agreed to stay neutral. More than that, they are very welcoming. You should learn both sides of yourself." He tells me, grabbing onto my hand I could tell he wanted to feel my warmth.
So I let him. I think back to the agreement I had made with my partners. Swearing that I would never turn into a wolf unless absolutely necessary.
"Thank you." I bow my head momentarily. "You don't plan to do that though, do you?" Billy quietly asks me, not in an angry or upset way. But knowingly. My silence of course answers for me.
Sam scoffs, "of course you don't." He shakes his head, finally putting himself into the conversation. "Excuse me?" I cross my arms, glaring right at him.
"Those bloodsuckers, they told you not to and since you're their little bitch you do exactly as they say." He gets in my face, I step back so Billy doesn't get hurt.
Knowing that I can barely control myself after my emotions I close my eyes for a split second. Taking in deep breaths. Slowly, in and out...
"Sam, she's stronger, back off before something stupid happens." Billy warns him, placing a hand on his arm to stop him but Sam shoves it off.
"I want an answer. They convinced you to not use it, didn't they?" His shoulder presses against mine and that's when I shove him away from me. His body flailing backwards to the dirt.
"I didn't come for this, I barely even came here to talk to you. I'm here to make sure Jacob isn't reckless with my sister. I angrily spat at the man who's getting up off the ground.
"Why I don't turn into a wolf is my business. Not yours. Never will it be yours." I got in his face this time. "I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself but I do not want you near me. So stop trying." I push off of him, this time a lot softer but it does cause him to lose his balance just a little bit.
"I'm sorry for the show, Billy. I'll see you some other time." I looked him in the eye, ignoring Sam who was just standing there now. "It's alright, your sisters in the garage." He points, I thank him as I walk away from them.
Before I enter the garage I hear Jacob getting upset. "You knew this was gonna happen." I hear Bella say. "Not in a month." He argues, he;s pacing. I stand outside quietly knowing that they can't sense me. Something that is a part of being a hybrid. No one can catch my scent or presence.
"I mean, not before you've even lived! Or before I could... for a second." He pauses to think about his next choice of words.
"For a second I thought... But he's got his hooks in you so deep." He growls out "I decided this, not him." Bella argues with the werewolf.
"Bella, they're not even alive. It makes me sick. Better you really be dead than one of them." He says out of anger and as much as I want to go in there and back my sister up I know she wouldn't want that right now.
"I can't believe you said that Edward was right. I shouldn't have come. She mutters and I frown from hearing the pain in her voice. I hear Bella step forward to leave. "Bella, come on. Please, I'm sorry." He says but I'm starting to question if he's even sincere anymore.
I hear her step further into the garage and uncover something. "We should stick to safer subjects like motorcycles." She speaks up to cut the tension in the air.
"Only thing safe about you on a motorcycle is when you turn it off." Jacob teases and I use this as a cue to join in. "Ain't that the truth." I walk in with a smirk. "Hey, no need to gang up on me." My older sister frowns as Jake and I laugh.
Bella and I get home late and when we walked in our father was right there in the kitchen. "You know the Cullens could at least respect meal times." Charlie tells us. "We were with Jake." Bella says and I hum too.
"Oh... Good, did you speak with Sam while you were over there?" he asks as I was smelling something unfamiliar in the house, it was mainly in Bella and my room.
"Uhm, yeah yeah." I was a little distracted but the conversation was quickly cut off by a knock on the door.
"I'll give you guys some privacy then." Charlie walks out into the living room. Edward walks in after Bella lets him in but I'm trying to smell the scent more, not being able to put my finger on where it's from.
I quickly went up the stairs to my sister's room first.
"What's going on?" Bella asks. "[Name] smells something. It's strong, I smell it as well. Something's wrong." He follows behind me. They watch as I'm checking things out. Touching the things this person touched.
"Edward, [Name], what's wrong?" My sister worriedly questions us. "Someone's been in here." Edward says for me.
Alice comes to my side as we all gather in the Cullen's living room. "Who was it? Someone we know?" She quizzes us.
"Just a stranger. I didn't recognize his scent, neither did [Name]." Edward tells everyone. "A nomad passing through?" Esme asks.
"A passer-by wouldn't have left Bella and [Name]s father alive." Rosalie argues. I suck on the inside of my cheeks at the thought of Charlie getting hurt. Alice hugs my arm tighter for support. Jasper then bursts through the door.
"His scent disappeared about five miles south of their house." He tells everyone before waking up to me. Taking my hand into his, planting a kiss on Alice's head as well.
"Someone's orchestrating this." Edward states the obvious. "Victoria?" Carlisle says. "I would've seen her deciding." Alice shakes her head ruling the redhead out.
"It has to be the Volturi." Edward butts in. "I don't think it's the Volturi either. I've been watching Aro's decisions too." Alice again disagrees. "So we keep looking." Emmett speaks.
"We also take shifts, guarding Bella at her house. I think [Name] can handle herself along with helping us." Carlisle gives me a small smile.
"Another protection call?" Rosalie interjects. "Rosalie." Esme warns.
"No, she's right. You can't protect me, watch our dad and search for the intruder and for Victoria and keep yourselves fed." Bella agrees with the beaut.
"I'm not leaving you here defenseless." Edward explains.
"Well, I'm not gonna let you starve. And I wouldn't be unprotected. I have [Name], and I have..." She stops herself then glances up.
"What?" Edward questions but I already know what it is.
I apologize for how long this took lol. I was very busy with a bunch of stuff I had to deal with moving lol. I also have a new cat and he has so much energy lol

“Paul, what are you staring at?” You locked eyes with your blonde boyfriend as he shot you a strange look. his gaze was stuck on you, or rather.. your breasts.
you continued to feed your baby bat, sore and not up for any bullshit Paul might be planning in his head. Paul continued to ignore your question, still staring. If he stared any harder he’d have burned holes in your chest.
Paul’s gaze gently went over your chest’s features, a silk blanket covered the other side of your chests. Your baby was smooshed up to your boobs for easier access to your milk.
His eyes glanced up at your tired expression, obviously a little uncomfortable at the feeling of a baby on your nipples, and maybe the soreness of carrying so much milk and not knowing where to put it.
your baby had your nipple in her mouth as she had her fill of nutrients. Paul watched with intensity, his eyebrows furrowing.
You looked at Paul a bit more before shaking your head, as if to say that you’d rather not deal with his shenanigans.
It was obvious the blonde was curious and confused, was it that good? He just could feel his finger twitch anxiously as your baby finished feeding, her pouty lips falling off from your breasts as she dozed off in your arms.
You coo softly, pulling your nightgown over your breasts before slowly standing up from the bed to put your baby bat in her nursery.
Unfortunately, that meant that Paul would be left to his own thoughts.
Your feet ached as you walked to and from the nursery, holding your sore back as slouching from your breasts. You let out an uncomfortable sigh as you tried relieve some soreness by gently massaging the sensitive areas of your under-boob.
Paul was still at his original spot, it seemed like he hadn’t moved an inch from where you last saw him.
you finally had your break for the night, happily sitting back on you and your boys’ bed. Though, they rarely slept in it, more so using it for more…explicit deeds.
“Gonna tell me what’s on your mind, pretty boy? I’m not a vampire yet, you know.” You looked off at Paul, carefully bringing your swollen feet up on the bed as you awaited his reply.
“nothin’..” Paul shrugged, finally breaking his gaze from your seat to look down at his fingers, chipping at his black nail polish.
You sighed, leaning your head back against the headboard. Your gaze looked around, the silence of the room making you feel uncomfortable.
“Alright, tell me, you’ve got me curious.”
Paul bit the inside of his cheek before walking up to you, sitting by the edge of the bed. “Don’t think I’m weird, babe, but I really want to try your milk..” A silence leaves the both of you, the cave felt cold and you had stopped massaging your sore chest.
“You want to what?” You shot him a confused look, wanting him to clarify what he had asked. “You know, your tits..you always say they’re sore from carrying..” Paul sat closer to you, obviously trying to convince you to let him drink from your breasts.
“Paulie, why do you wanna do that?” You were surprised at his suggestion, feeling his weight move next to you, Paul gently wrapped his arms around your stomach.
“You’re always saying how you’re sore and it always feels heavy, wanna see if I can help you..” Paul looked up at you with his pretty blues, looking like a little puppy asking for a treat.
You couldn’t help but feel your heart melt at Paul’s pretty pout, looking up at you with such gusto. “I guess..I can let you, since you’re asking so nicely.” Paul seemed to perk up at your words, looking at you with a bright smile.
You let Paul position you the way he wanted, his hands lifted you onto his lap. You squirmed in his arms, trying to get comfortable.
You felt Paul’s hands place themselves on your thighs before they moved up, slipping under your nightgown.
“Calm down, Paulie. I’m not going anywhere.” You whispered, caressing his cheek with your palm, your lips meeting his for a quick second before pulling away, your heart palpitating in your chest.
Paul grinned excitedly, as you wrapped your arms around his neck, his hands happily explored under your nightgown. The pads of his fingers gently tapped against your waist, then again in the middle of your chest.
Paul felt himself get shivers up his spine from hearing your fastened heartbeat, he knew he was touching the right places to rile your pretty self up.
You let out a few soft sighs as Paul’s cold hands felt amazing to your sore breasts. You felt his hand finally cup your breasts and swipe his thumb over your nipple, making you flutter your eyes closed at the relaxing feeling.
Paul closed his eyes for a minute just to feel in your presence, he was amazed at how gorgeous you were.
His eyes looked up at you with adoration for his girlfriend, his smile widening by the second. “Can’t wait to have you in my mouth, mamas..” he quietly mumbled, his hands leaving your hot body for a little while.
You seemed annoyed at the lack of contact, watching Paul impatiently as he pulled off his leather jacket, the various jewelry and chains clinking against each other.
“Hurry up..” you mumbled, getting antsier by the minute. Paul chuckled, looking at you with a smug grin. “And here I thought I was the needy one..” He mused, his fingertips pinching the silk nightgown you wore.
You rolled your eyes before starting to move off his lap, done with Paul’s teasing. “Babe, no! M’sorry! I’ll be good.” Paul instantly turned to begging you, feeling your weight slowly leave his lap.
“Won’t joke around n‘more..” his lidded eyes looked up at you with a pout, upset at you for even moving a few inches off his lap.
You smirked, returning Paul’s smug grin. “That’s what I thought, now pull this off me, pretty boy.” You cooed, raising your arms up for easier removal of your nightgown.
You stopped moving as Paul hastily pulled at the garment, going over your head and onto the floor, your breasts were in full display and Paul couldn’t help but feel his loins stir.
“Fuck babe, I forgot you had such gorgeous girls.” He snickered, his hands instantly cupping both of your tits into his rough hands, his hands felt cold and soothed your soreness immensely, making you moan softly in content.
Paul could feel his mouth salivating at just seeing your breasts in his hands. If he wasn’t a vampire, he’d cower in his bashfulness at the fact that he was basically drooling over your tits.
His hands gently massaged them, almost juggling the two mounds in a pattern. A hum left your lips, letting Paul take his time with your tits.
Paul was enamoured with the two weights in his hands as you felt so warm to him, a perfect match. Hot to Cold, body to body. He continued to massage your breasts, watching your eyelashes flutter and your eyes close in pure relief.
His face happily digged itself into your neck, placing soft kisses from your collarbone and made a path up behind your ear. His lips retreated back to the nook in your neck, licking a long stripe before his fangs gently grazed the skin, making a scratch at most.
Paul felt his eyes close in pure ecstasy in smelling his girlfriend’s sweet blood, his body seemed to twitch excited, so excited that he accidentally squeezed your breasts.
He wasn’t guilty about it though, because suddenly, a liquid ran down his hands, sticky and white. “Mamas…you’re dripping..” He joked, one of his hands leaving your breast as you looked off in embarrassment, Paul’s long tongue made an appearance as he lifted his wet arm up to his lips.
You hit him in the thigh, scoffing at his joke before you realized what he was doing.
His long tongue followed the droplets of milk that made paths on his arm, the sweet nectar spreading across his taste buds as he sucked every last bit of it from his arms.
Your lips opened to say something but nothing seemed to come out, feeling your throat dry at Paul’s dirty display.
You watched with a heated face as Paul hungrily licked every evidence of the liquid on his arms before he growled, looking at you with a hungry look.
Paul pulled your face to meet his, his thick hands gripping the back of your head with needy strength. his teeth clashed with yours as you tasted the bittersweet flavour from his tongue.
you decided to give him some relief, slowly grinding down on his lap, feeling his clothed cock harden under you. His groaned into the kiss, a growl resounding once again.
“Oh baby, now I need to get a taste..” He grunted, his lips latching onto your nipples in record speed as you gasped at the sudden contact.
You jumped from his cold lips making contact with your breasts, your grip tightening around his neck as Paul felt his eyes flutter at feeling you in his mouth.
His tongue flicked over your buds, as a reaction your legs unwillingly squeezed his lap squealing at the cold temperature Paul’s mouth emitted. Your arms made quick work to wrap themselves around his neck, his arms doing the same to your waist.
You couldn’t hold your moans as you felt your milk being sucked out by Paul, unwilling to stop, his lips continued to latch onto your nipples, making the area around it red as his grip seemed to tighten around your waist.
His free hand continued to massage the breast he didn’t suck on, your breastmilk dripping down his arms. You should’ve known this would happen, Paul loved to play with his food, and he was a messy eater.
Paul happily enjoyed the fact that you filled his mouth so, gulping with unstoppable thirst. His hips started to buck, gaining pleasure from drinking you dry in other ways, he’d never thought he’d get to drain you besides your blood.
“Baby, you’ve got me going crazy,” Paul detached from your tits to look up at you once again, his eyes glimmering with want and lust after you, his gorgeous girl.
“I wanna drink from your pretty tits every time I get thirsty, over and over again..” Paul mumbled against your skin, his lips grazing over your chest, obviously enamoured by the way you taste, god he’d never tasted something so delicious before. It’s as if his young vampire years had reawakened, the need to drink strong.
“Paul…careful..” you warned your blonde boyfriend, feeling his fangs against your chest, almost scratching and making a mark on you. “Sorry.. you just taste so good..” he whined, digging his head into the middle of your chest, enjoying the warmth your tits generated.
Paul kissed up your cleavage, he couldn’t help himself with sucking hickeys in the middle of your tits, hoping that one of the other boys gets a go at you so that they could see his artwork on your body.
His thick hands moved to your thighs, his cold palms being heated by your thick thighs. Paul continued to make his marks, his sharp fangs giving you a sense of rush as it felt cold to the touch.
His fingers tapped against your thick mounds before the moved towards your inner thigh, his thumb swiping rhythmic patterns to calm you down as he inches towards your cunt.
Being a vampire has its pros, one of them being a good sense of smell. Paul could smell your sweet pussy from under your shorts and your underwear, he could feel himself almost cum from just smelling you.
“Paul—..” you called out for him, knowing he could smell your arousal from this proximity, you held your breath, waiting for him to make a move.
He growled at your call, only opting to push his finger into your shorts, making a small ripple. His long fingernails managed to make a hole big enough for his fingers to come through, ripping it slowly.
His display of pure carnal thirst made you even wetter than before, your hormones were everywhere even though it had been a few months since your baby was born. A desperate, breathy whine left your lips, almost begging Paul to do something.
Your blonde boyfriend moved too slow for your liking, you were in your ripped shorts, only your panties shielded your pussy from the monster who held you in his grasps.
One of his hands wrapped around your waist as he pulled you close to his face once again, his lips stationed instantly on one of your buds, returning to drinking the sweet liquid that left your breasts.
His fingers moved with precision, hooking them into your underwear with little to no trouble. Paul didn’t bother to give your clothes any mercy as he only ripped your panties off in a few seconds.
A jump leaves your body, both at Paul’s tongue and the sudden bareness you felt down under. Your eyes were lidded, unable to get a grip on reality as the buzzing feeling in your stomach grew at the sight of Paul enjoying his meal.
You could see the glint of yellow in Paul’s irises, his vampiric side starting to show. The blonde slowly caressed your inner thighs, your warmth enjoyed by Paul.
He continued to drink from your breasts, his mouth filled up fast with your milk and he had to be gulping every few seconds to keep up with how fast the sweet liquid came out.
Paul looked up at you, his eyes locking onto yours. You were met with the pretty sight of Paul’s messy display. Milk dribbled from the sides of his lips, making streams down his jaw. His free arm had been massaging your other breast, your milk tainting it as well.
It was completely nasty, and Paul knew it, his dick was rock-hard and needed to be released from his jeans, he felt like he could just cum from drinking you. His eyes seemed to roll back, trying to remember the way you taste.
he inadvertently groaned, the buzzing sending waves of pleasure up to your head as you whined, your hands no longer stationed around his arms but propped up to tangle themselves into the blonde’s locks.
Paul’s other arm finally stopped rubbing circles into your inner thigh, inching closer to your cunt where it glistened with lust and need. He pulled back from your nipple, licking his lip for any residue on his lips of you.
“Baby, I can just cum from seeing you like this.” He mumbled, his thumb grazing your clit as your hands gripped his hair tighter in reaction. “I can’t be the only one having fun, right mama?” He spoke into your skin, his lips placing kisses onto your shoulder.
Your eyes closed as Paul’s thumb rubbed your clit in a circular motion, a gasp leaving your lips as unwillingly pushed against Paul’s hand.
He grinned at your reaction, stopping his action and using his thumb to spread your cunt open, it glistened in the natural light of one of the many barrel fires in the cave.
“Fuck. You’d let me get a taste at this pretty pussy, too, won’t you?” He asked, although he already knew the answer. You nodded, desperate for him to do something. “Yes, yes Paul, just, please..” you uttered a breathy complaint, wanting your boyfriend to just do something.
“It’s okay pretty, I’ve got you.” He cooed, he used two of his digits to dig into your cunt, instantly surrounding his cold fingers with warmth. You squeezed your eyes shut at the feeling of coldness in you.
Paul was amused at your expression, slowly pushing his fingers into you, trying to remember every feeling of you. His grin widened, allowing himself to return to your neglected nipple, eager to finish his meal.
a sound of squelching was heard in the alcove, breathy whines and groans accompanied it, Paul was sure the other boys would’ve heard it.
Paul was on a high, the way you tightened around his fingers and how your milk continued to spill no matter how long he sucked was too much; he could feel himself twitch in his jeans.
He was sure you could feel him too. More focused on your release, the pads of his fingers searched for a particular spot inside of you, almost scissoring his digits, making you moan. You digged your fingers into his hair, your other hand sliding down to give yourself a grip onto Paul’s shoulder.
Your fingernails made crescent marks on his shoulder, too immersed in the pleasure your blonde boyfriend gave you.
He hummed at you, the sound adding to the pleasure of your pussy being fingered well. His fingers fastened their pace; trying to get you to your release. Your moans heightened in pitch, feeling the coil in your stomach start to tighten.
Your pussy seemed get more and more sensitive the more Paul dug into it. His palms connected with your clit, adding more to the bliss that ran through your whole body.
Paul could feel how wet you had gotten in his hand, it dripped down to his pants, making a patch of your essence right under you, he didn’t care though, he cared that he could make you scream out by the end of it all.
“Are you close, honey? Just say the word, I can give it to you.” He ushered quietly; Paul looked to you for a go. You nodded desperately, “yes, yes paulie!” You whined, starting to grind your hips into his fingers to get you closer so you could cum.
A squeal left your lips; Paul had fastened his pace. The squelching your cunt made became intense, it was loud enough the rest of the guys should’ve heard what you two have been doing by now.
The coil in your stomach tightened second by second, the overwhelming feeling of Paul’s tongue flicking against your nipple, your moans pitched up, along with your high. Your pussy tightened against his fingers.
Paul had long ago switched to your other breast, drinking the remaining milk left in your boobs, his free hand no longer massaged by held you by the waist.
Everything seemed too much, the overstimulating sensation of Paul being everywhere in your body, the way Paul’s clothed cock poked through his pants and you could feel it on your ass, you were desperate to just ride him.
Your eyes rolled back at the feeling of Paul’s lips and fingers stimulating you to a high you could’ve never reached yourself.
You seemed to grip Paul’s head tightly to your breasts as the coil in your stomach finally snapped, your high reaching so high you could see white spots in your vision. You squeezed your eyes tight, your thighs shaking; you gushed around Paul’s fingers as a long moan left your lips.
Paul stopped latching onto your nipple, pulling away with only a string of saliva connecting the two of you. Paul looked at you once again, a huge small on his face, his pearly fangs clearly showing.
“Enjoyed it mama? Don’t feel sore n’more?” Paul asked, placing his chin in between your cleavage, his pretty blues looking at your features, trying to decipher what you thought.
You nodded at his question, your hands gently petting Paul’s lion mane as both of you huffed at the tiring thrill you both just had.
“That was…amazing, honey.” You mumbled tiredly, a small dopey smile on your face. Paul nodded eagerly, as if to say ‘that’s good.’ He returned back to your nipple, ready to latch on once again.
Your dopey smile turned to confusion, stopping your blonde boyfriend seconds before he could bring your nipple into his mouth once again, “Paulie, haven’t you drank enough?” You asked curiously, placing your hand on his cheek to tilt his head up.
He only excitedly grinned, “I want more, mamas, I always want more.” He replied, before continuing his mission of sucking your breasts dry.
“Paulie, wait! You need to save some for the baby—“ you giggled, trying to pull the blonde away before he grabbed both of your arms with his hands, you gasped at his sudden change in demeanour, more demanding and serious.
“Mama, I know you can make more.” He warned, you and Paul knew better than to test a vampire’s want and thirst. His eyes lidded, but you could tell that his eyes swirled with yellow, you knew it wasn’t going to take any longer until he let his vampire take over.
“You’ll make more milk, won’t you? For me and our baby?”
