Script Writing Assignment:

((Curtain Opens/ Camera Pans from the back to the front of couple) Walking out of the Barnes and Noble on Chestnut Street. The couple turns left onto 17th and the husband stares at Clevers and you can see his eyes get wider))

Nathan: Should we go home……..orrr should we get something to eat

(Nathan grins from ear to ear and gestures to Clevers)

(Veronica smiles and sighs)

Veronica: I don’t care, the train comes in forty minutes.   

(Their pace starts to slow from a brisk walk to a stroll)

Veronica: We have food at home if you just want to walk around

(Nathans grin vanishes and his stroll becomes sluggish)

Nathan: This is a lot of walking around, my feet HURT!

(Veronica and Nathan turn on to Walnut and they sluggishly walk through Rittenhouse square)

(Veronica looks over at her favorite restaurant and her eyes beam with joy)

Veronica: OHHH – an open table outside at Parc

(Nathan exhales dramatically and rolls his eyes. Veronica pulls his arm and glares up to him with her bright eyes)

Veronica: We can cook at home orrrrr we can eat here! I want the French Onion Soup

(Veronica does a happy little dance and takes Nathans other arm)

Veronica: It is beautiful outside!

(Nathan gives her a smirk twirls her around, and tugs at the chest of his sweatshirt- indicating that he is warm)

Veronica: We can ask them turn the heaters off if you get too hot!

(Veronica is now skipping in a circle around Nathan, she takes off her scarf and twirls it around Nathan while childishly and lovingly running circles around him)

(Nathan takes Veronicas hand lovingly, getting her to be still for a moment and pulling he rin for an embrace)

Nathan: How about take out?

(Veronicas smile turns from a gleam to a pout you can see her excitement fade)

Veronica: Home or eat here

(Veronica tugs on Nathans arms and then throws herself back into the warm embrace of her lover)

(Nathan sighs deeply and audially. It is easy to tell he is fatigued.)

Nathan: Lets eat here

(Nathan lets go of Veronica and whips of his courdourou jacket and throws it to Veronica playfully. He then takes off his sweatshirt and takes back the layer he just tossed to Veronica)

(Nathan and Veronica walk through the square again and cross the street)

Nathan: My feet hurt.

(Once again, Nathan sighs)

Darragh would never grow accustomed to going out in establishments that suggested (read: demanded) an outfit that didn't consist of the same work boots, jeans, and flannel. But, Darragh had also grown up beside Madi's brother, and therefore was accustomed to a 'drink' meaning some bougie bar in Rittenhouse that he'd never be able to afford alongside groceries that week. When his shift had concluded, Darragh had changed into real pants, not jeans, and a button up, the top few buttons undone. Haley was working a night shift, so he knew he wouldn't be missed, not that he ever thought he was, lately.

It was clear he was out of place when he arrived at Parc, glancing around for a few moments before he located the familiar head of blonde hair. Weaving his way between others, he eventually arrived before Madi with a smile. "I can't remember the last time I had to iron shirt that wasn't a part of my uniform." If he really thought about it, then Darragh would know it was for his wedding day. "I tried to look presentable, but uh... You know me." He'd made a concerted effort, at least.

Brunch at Parc; Rittenhouse w/ @milesofasher

For someone who spent a majority of his twenties partying at the best bars and clubs, you'd think Sebastian would have gotten it all completely out of his system,. However, that just wasn't the case. After a night of bar hopping the previous night with Miles, Sebastian found himself at an afternoon brunch reservation. "Alright, million dollar question — are we gonna be good or are we gonna be..." His words drifted off as he made contact with the table next to them who had ordered bottomless mimosas. "...bad?" He seemed to know the answer before he even finished the question as he gave Miles a knowing look. With his smile widening, Sebastian threw out the statement casually as if it would have made a difference to either of them, "A little hair of the dog is just what the doctor recommends, right?"

It would not be a proper Buxbaum trip to Philly if I did not stop for brunch at Parc either on my way into or on my way out of 30th Street Station. As I was passing by Rittenhouse Square, a dude in a pork pie hat in a VW convertible was stopped at the crosswalk, BLASTING “Low Light” by Pearl Jam. I feel like this is the most pure, concentrated Philadelphia encounter I’ve had short of the drunken hordes of Eagles fans on Thursday night.

I’ll take my eggs with a side of Chanel 😉 Did you know that the word “Bistro” (as in French bistro) is rumored to have originated from Russian? During the Russian Occupation of Paris in 1915, Russian soldiers would impatiently say, “Bistro!
