If you like ghosts, paranormal, after-life, demons, or such, with a touch of lgbtq+ characters, this is the show for you right now.

The show is a spinoff of The Sandman, but you can totally watch it as a stand alone if you haven't watched the Sandman, there is no spoilers whatsoever between the two series.

Plus, if you have a high savior syndrome, the show is being cancelled due to low viewership even though the fans (like myself) are very present. I'd hate to see this show being cancelled and not reaching a larger audience.

I tried to give each villain/organization (and Hawks) their own section, but I ran out of space (the league is sharing with Hawks and the MLA for now).

So latest news on Dabi seems to be that he looks to be on an ambulance stretcher it (I mean we can't be sure when we can only see a while 16 pixels of generic anime hair, but it does match Touya's anime hair). Which is great if true because that means he's alive and going to get care.

But as someone who wasn't too worried he was going to die anyway; my only thought on this is that I hope there's a way for him to get from hero custody to the battle at Mt. Fuji. Because not only do I not want him kept out of the big climax when everyone else is coming back; but at this stage, it really looks like Tomura will need as many of the other villains from the League as possible to get free from AFO.

I mean a lot of us have already reached this conclusion: with AFO having invalidated so much of Tomura/Tenko's life and motivations and it visibly crushing and destroying his soul; his connections to the League are all he'd have left to hold on to, and that means they're the best choices to remind him of that and wake him up, to light that fire in him to beat AFO from the inside one last time. And like, I don't think readers want to acknowledge this very much, but even with everyone here, no one is hear to save Tomura (same as ever); they're here to fight Tomura/AFO and they don't care who it is. I mean Deku might be (though tragically, ch. 420 has instilled some doubts I'm afraid. Still not sure what to think of that.), but we've seen where his help has gotten Tomura so far; and even then, he's one teenage boy who is not exactly equipped for this task no more. Besides that, no one else can save Tomura; he needs the League, Dabi very much included.

So, like, maybe Toga can free Dabi in an upcoming chapter (I've heard theories that she may have split from Uraraka & gotten away before the news helicopters arrived, hence no one mentioning her.) and meet up with Spinner to get a ride from a woken-up Kurogiri or something. Because man does Tomura need them now more than ever.

I just remembered a really funny story from comic-con. i got to meet hamish steele (deadendia/dead end creator) and me and a couple of other people at their booth got chatting about the musical episode, and he told us about how apparently they got patrick stump involved after he auditioned for one of the regular roles. then at the end of making it he gave hamish tickets to his band, and hamish hadn't heard of fall out boy and thought patrick would just be performing at a little club or something

Liz says nothing for a moment. She doesn’t know how to go back to normal life either, in an apartment that feels that much more empty, in a life that she can only see as hollow.

She doesn’t know how to put into words that his choice has determined her own.

”Yes,” she says. “I’m staying.” She shrugs. “It’ll be find. We know what to expect now, don’t we?”

Thiago leans on an elbow, staring out the window. “Yeah,” he says.

The Blood Bride by CD Reiss

I knew this was going to end on a cliffhanger, but I was completely unprepared for the ending that we got! This was wonderful storytelling, uncovering layers while building the world as we got to know the characters. While so many things that happened were unexpected, they fit with the unfolding of the events. Things really picked up pace for the quarter of the book, and I was completely swept up in everything until that shocking finale. Definitely will be diving in for more as soon as it is out!

Hmm. In reading over my own writing, I've come to an unfortunate realization.

I have Luz make fun of Vee pretty often. Like, it's all light-hearted jabs, poking fun about crushes and writing gullible on the ceiling, stuff like what my own siblings put me through growing up, but it's still a lot more than she's ever done in canon. I worry it might come across as out-of-character, and perhaps even mean-spirited?

...Maybe I should make that one of the sideplots in the episode where it's most egregious? Luz learning that she needs to tone down her teasing?

Ugh, but it's already so full of stuff going on; the ghost hunt, Vee coming out to Cabin 7, the Hexsquad and Cabin 7 teaming up and mingling, at least one date... hhhhh.
