for paradise, I'm thinking of making it hermitcraft

Athena will be pearl in evo and the snippits of other songs will be lines referencing the different people and groups in evo, property Police, netty's treehouse, Taurus Republic, the Mafia, bigbs cookie house, etc

Odysseus is grian, he went watcher then ended up on hermitcraft knowing the dangers of the watchers and wanting to go back to help evo escape

Calypso will be mumbo, sometimes x, keeping grian in hermitcraft, not wanting him to leave, not wanting him in danger but not understanding his situation

i've been BELTING out the Epic concept album in the car to and from work the past couple of weeks, esp. the bit where Odysseus cries out for Athena at the end of Love in Paradise, and I thought it would be funny if the goddess herself was like WHY is this person in rural NY state calling for me every day at 8:40am and after 5pm

The dissociation—Odysseus was in no shape to carry on. Jay didn’t even need to bring up anything abt s.a. that happened on the island—just a simple comparison between the behaviors of Odysseus when he arrived and that of Odysseus seven years later: just look what happened on this island that caused him to breakdown so thoroughly. This is so perfectly done.

God, love in paradise made me feel sick to my stomach in ways you couldn't imagine. Like my god, I have never been so scared for Odysseus than in that moment- and don't get me started of Calypso she gave me chills.

The way that she pointedly ignored Odysseus words when he told her Penelope was his wife, and how she blatantly ignored his rejections like he was a cute animal that didn't know any better. My god, I truly think she is the scariest god in this musical and fully encompass how terrifying they can be for a mortal who can't fight back.

Like my god just let him go back home!!!!! He doesn't deserve this!!!!!

Progress on my "Love in Paradise" Animatic Still feels rough and needs more touch ups before i begin sketching the second half of it, but it's coming along!!! for a first animatic, this is coming along alright :3 Hope you guys enjoy it and look forward to the full thing! I'm really trying to make every scene it's own standalone painting in terms of composition and how well it looks. like if you paused at any part of it, it'd be wallpaper worthy
