It just occurred to me that turnabout countdown would be an incredible place for the Apollo Trucy sibling reveal

bombing happens, Apollo is in the hospital, they're not letting anyone in except family no matter how many legal loopholes Phoenix tries, but Trucy is just So Desperate to see him and make sure that he's ok. Phoenix sees her about to break down in the hospital waiting room and decides that Thalassa's promise is not so important that he can let Trucy go through this so he pulls out the pictures of documents Thalassa had sent him and explains to the doctor that no, Trucy is his half-sister, she's family, you have to let her in. and they do! And now Trucy has to sit there in that room with nothing but machines and her own thoughts hoping beyond hope that the boy she now knows to be her brother is going to make it long enough to find out the truth

It adds another layer to Apollo taking his lil leave of absence too

Athena is pretty explicitly a lawyer that Phoenix chose, that he had faith in, that he tells everyone to trust and believe. And if, in the middle of his whole murder and bombing situation, Apollo finds out that Phoenix hid this from him and Trucy for YEARS? how can he trust him about Athena? What ELSE is Phoenix keeping secret

I think I'm going to have to save up for a trip to the northern hemisphere for snow in the future. All this Christmas imagery is making me want to go ice skating outside again. (The rink here that has pools of water at the edges and smells like a freezer just doesn't have quite the same atmosphere. 😅 ) I'd also love to learn how to cross country ski properly.

Okay, I'm EXTREMELY late watching murder drones, I've been putting off watching it for just under a year. But that might have been the best decision of my life to sit down and watch the first 7 episodes in one sitting.

I just finished episode 8, I've been waiting to watch it because I knew it was gonna be good. And it literally blew up my expectations. That was fucking beautiful.
