Random Greek Mythology thought
So Pallas is the name of a daughter of Triton. She was a friend of Athena.
And there’s also Pallas the Titan of Warcraft, husband of Styx, son of Crius and Eurybia.
So what if at a Family reunion for the gods Athena hears Pallas’ name called, the titan, and thinks that they mean her childhood friend, which she accidentally killed, only to be greeted by the Titan.
Then she would probably apologize saying she thought he was someone else whilst crying on the inside.

The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology
Styx (Στυξ meaning "Hated") was the Titan goddess of the underworld River Styx in Greek mythology. She was the embodiment of hatred and detestation. This made her one of the most feard Titans. During the "Golden Age" of the Titans, Styx was the guardian of the Underworld. Before the war, she was married to her cousin Pallas (god of warcraft), son of Crius (god of heavenly constellations) and Eurybia (goddess of mastery of the sea). However, Pallas was killed during the war. Throughout most of the war, Styx remained neutral, like her parents and siblings, the River gods and Ocean nymphs. During the last battle of the Titan War, she chose to side with Zeus (king of the gods) and the Olympians, giving her four children, Bia (goddess of force), Cratus (god of power), Zelos (god of rivalry) and Nike (goddess of victory) in her service. To honour her, Zeus decreed that the solemn oaths of the gods be sworn by the water of Styx

this is part of the Gavlebocken murder story game
A SINGLE TRAINED RAVEN
Watching the jackdaws eat the Gävlebocken in 2023 gave you an idea. You spent the last year training a member of your local species of Corvinae, the raven, to destroy the Gävlebocken.
You swore you weren’t going to name the raven, but you named him Pallas anyway. Maybe because of the Poe poem, or pallas cats or because Pallas was the Titan of warcraft. Regardless of your reasons, when you released Pallas a few blocks down from the Gävlebocken, you called him by his name as you commanded him to kill the goat.
At first, Pallas followed his training, leveraging the goat’s door open and flying inside. Then the plan was for Pallas to set the goat on fire. Instead, he made a bird call the likes of which you’ve never heard before.
Birds of all species large and small flocked from every direction, swooping into the goat. They rearranged the straw walls, adding bits of fluff and fabric until each square of the goat’s massive frame was a nest. On the outside the Gävlebocken became a bulbous eldritch monster, rumbling from the host of cooing birds.

hello and welcome! this blog is an AU of the greek gods. In order to punish the Gods for tormenting humanity due to godly affairs, Zeus has banished them to the mortal realm, to live like mortals. However, Athena and Hera saw this as unfair, as Zeus himself committed atrocities against humanity as well. Therefore, they worked together to banish Zeus to the mortal realm too. The Gods powers and immortality are still in tact, they are simply not allowed to live in their respective realms.
(this is not myth compliant! most of them are probably not going to be related due to shipping)

If Cass is pagan what do you think are the main gods she worships?
Nike, the Greek goddess of victory (I've always associated her with Cass), and her immediate family - Styx (the Oceanid goddess of a river in the Underworld), Pallas (the Titan god of battle and warcraft), Zelus (the god of glory and emulation), Kratos (the god of strength and dominion), and Bia (the goddess of force and violence).

Rage, anger, hatred, and sacred, solemn oaths defined Bull-horned like your ambivalent father Oldest of the Okeanids, terrifying your river The turning point between victory and defeat Wife of Pallas, Titan of warcraft and battle Mother to the sentinels of loud thundering Zeus Nike, Bia, Kratos, and Zelos your eternal pride
Companion of Persephone, the dead's first sight your silver home Titanide whose corrosive waters bind wayward spirits to your bank By the will of Zeus, you make immortals quiver at your mention Stern and unbending as you punish deities that break oaths As they pour your infernal, silver-swirling water hand delivered by Iris For with false words and lies they will fall, they will know your curse One that lasts for a year unconscious and bitter tears for nine years All alone, isolated from every deity and their festivals full of honor A true woe upon those that are iron-locked by your spoken word

“That is rather sentimental.” he murmured in response as he rummaged through some paperwork he had been looking for. Coeus had been a part in Crius’ offspring’s education, so he had been quite familiar with his sons. Pallas, the stubborn one. Perses the serious one and Astraeus the dreamer. The elder had always imagined Perses to be the more sensible match for one of his daughters. An alliance would of course be preferable. Luckily he hadn’t been in charge of that subject. Coeus never did well with sentiments of the heart. He often didn’t even know how to deal with his own. So often he chose a scientific approach. Science was rarely wrong, after all. “I am sure we covered the subject and I would prefer not to repeat myself, but when a male and a female come together love can form. Love can be distilled into three categories: lust, attraction, and attachment. Though there are overlaps and subtleties to each, each type is characterized by its own set of hormones. Testosterone and estrogen drive lust; dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin create attraction; and oxytocin and vasopressin mediate attachment. Lust is driven by the desire for sexual gratification. The evolutionary basis for this stems from our need to reproduce, a need shared among all living things. Through reproduction, organisms pass on their genes, and thus contribute to the perpetuation of their species. Hence why it is not a good idea for you to copulate with an Oceanid if we wish to keep our species strong.” He paused, blue eyes finding the other’s gaze. “I am not going to pretend to be a matchmaker. I am sure your mother and my wife are better sells-people than I. All I know is that I have two lovely daughters and it is rather insulting you seem so very opposed to the idea of marriage to either of them. Now I cannot be bothered to be angered by these kinds of sentiments but your own father is and he is my brother and I love him dearly. How shall we settle this matter?”
Hearing about copulation and mating from his uncle wasn't a topic he cared to listen to. Coeus always took the clinical route: logic and science versus the alternative. Emotional and theoretical. But what was the other option? Hearing the same from his father? No, he didn't need to hear any more useless ranting from the Ram especially when it came to marriage and creating offspring. Establishing legacy. Legacy...his father's favorite word.
"Metis was granted Titan status. But two titans don't automatically create titans. Ninety nine percent of Oceanus and Tethys's offspring are not titans. But Metis is. She beat those odds. There could be a probable chance we can create titans. Further the titan line." Pallas retorted, keeping his voice firm with strong conviction. If his father couldn't approve of Metis, maybe Pallas could persuade Coeus of her worthiness. Speak to the logical mind of his uncle and further more, have him convince Crius to allow and bless his union with Metis. How could the titaness of wise counsel not be a worthy mate for him? She could aid him in his domain and she already soothed and calmed his temper. Metis was the steady and levelheaded presence he needed; to tame the hot headed titan of battle and warcraft.
Pallas's intention wasn't to offend his uncle by refusing Asteria and Leto. In fact, he wanted them to have mates who suited them and with Pallas's temper and stubbornness, could they even handle his true nature? Their domains didn't even reflect his and titans were often matched with counterparts in mind. "I don't mean to insult you or your daughters, uncle." He began, remembering the manners and pleasantries Crius taught him. "you know that I have two brothers. Both unwed and viable mates for both of your daughters. Just because I am the eldest doesn't mean I am automatically the only option to husband Asteria or Leto." He mused. "Asteria would be perfect for Astraeus. Even in namesake! They are titans of the stars. And Leto...well...demure isn't exactly a part of battle and warcraft. Nor destruction. Uncle Iapetus and Cronus have yet to father children. Perhaps one of them will provide a befitting husband for her."

They call him that because in the game he fucking murdered everyone and everything including Ares. Dude kicked ass and literally took names.
Kratos (not the game character) does exist in myth somewhat as one of the an ancient God beings called the Titans, with Kratos being the Titan/ embodiment of physical Strength, but in this form he can also go by Cratus and Cratos, and his dad Pallas is sometimes thought to be the embodiment of warcraft sooo
this website’s easy watch. *dangles a bunch of greek gods like keys*

Have you ever thought of a House System of your own? Pretty sure plenty of people have thought of one at some point in life, yourself included.
Yeah, I'll admit it, I've once thought of one myself.
The Wondarian House System that never came to be was based on the Amazoness/Sailor Quartet: Juno, Vesta, Ceres and Palla.
They'd take cues from the Roman Gods/Titans, rather than their mahou counterparts, though (given that the Sailor Quartet wasn't explored well enough in canon):
Juno, Goddess of Matrimony - Those who stayed at the Juno House would be romantic and passionate;
Vesta, Goddess of Agriculture - Those who stayed at the Vesta House would be diligent and resourceful;
Ceres, Goddess of Laws* - Those who stayed at the Ceres House would be intelligent and pragmatical;
Palla, Titan of Warcraft - Those who stayed at the Palla House would be strong and resilient;
But now that I think about it, I'm personally glad I didn't went far with this whole idea; not only because I'd be accused of plagiarism, but also because I wasn't aiming to spite JKR at the time, but rather Gen Urobuchi (and Magia Quartet in general) and Asari Endo instead.
So, I've created the Magi Classes System (Hero, Performer and Helper) in its place instead, where people have total free will and control to choose which one appeals to them the most, rather than the system itself assigning it.
*Ceres goes by many representations, including being the patron of laws and rights.

While Pallas was initially unimpressed with his match, started to learn she could challenge him. Stand up for herself in a unique brand of fierceness. He thought of her as dispassionate and monotonous but she wouldn't let any offense on his part go. Maybe he could try getting more reactions out of her, shred the strict tight skin she wore. And who better than the titan of warcraft and battle?
His lips curled, smirking even deeper and he was about to open his mouth for another snide comment, but he stopped before he could even start. For once, Asteria made him a loss for words. While he accepted the arrangement, he didn't treat his marriage seriously. Surely he had not sought out a mistress nor planned on fathering bastards, but he needed more from her. Openness. Vulnerability. If they were to spend eternity together, he needed to get to know her on a deeper level. Maybe then they could bond and respect one another outside of spouses but as friends. Maybe even lovers?
Pallas presented a hand to Asteria, hoping she would expect it and he could hold her there for a moment. But then he peered down at his hand, covered in a mixture of mortal blood and golden ichor. He huffed before finding a table cloth dressing a small table. In one swift movement, he pulled off the cloth without the items on top falling and breaking. More mess would only annoy his wife more.
He quickly wiped his hand clean and dropped the dirty cloth on top of his armor. At least the mess he started would stay in one place...to be eventually disposed of. The titan moved closer to Asteria, leaving little space between them. He once again offered his hand, waiting for her response. "I know neither of us are what we envisioned as consorts. We are oil and water but maybe we can find a common ground here. I'm not the easiest person to be around but I'm not a beast. At least to those who matter." He added as his tone softened along with his smirk.
She flinched subtly at the loud thud she already expected before metal hit marble. Darks orbs followed the objects descend - disdain apparent on her features. Asteria would've preferred it if the servants would be allowed to do their job. To immediately grab the dirty equipment and get rid of it. Clean her floors. Make irony stench of blood disappear from her halls.
"You should." she agreed, eyes returning sharply to meet his gaze. Asteria wasn't very demanding. At least she thought so herself. She did not have many expectations of him. Pallas was Pallas, after all. She knew who she married. He always tried to kick against other's shins. For the fun of it, she presumed. It had always seemed petty. Childlike. Throwing tantrums like one big baby. At least that was how it came across to someone as poised as she was.
"I am grateful you at least have managed to learn how to clean after yourself. I hope that is not a false statement, that is." She sucked in a breath, chest heaving heavily as if to rid herself of the pending frustration. "And you should stop jesting. Our marriage is not a joke. I suggest you stop insulting me and take it more seriously."

Vans I need help. I have another obscure Greek god that I'm slowly developing a hyperfixation over but THERE'S NOT ENOUGH STUFF ABOUT HIM so may I please ask for your headcanon of Phthonos?
YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE ME GET BRAIN ROT!!!1!!1
okkk so Phthonos is a very very very "rare" god.. not much is known about him.
he may be a son of Aphrodite.. or he could be the same god as Zelos (or Zelus) who was a son of Pallas & Styx.. in which case, his siblings include Nike, Kratos, and Bia.
but personally... i don't think the latter parentage theory makes sense- Nike, Kratos, and Bia personify forces that seem to come hand-in-hand with war.. victory, power, and force. this makes sense given that Pallas was probably the titan of warcraft...
but Phthonos.. or Zelos.. is the god of envy and jealousy, especially related to romance and love.. so.. he doesn't exactly fit the pattern with Nike, Kratos, and Bia.
so i think that Phthonos and Zelos should be two different gods.. though they may be very similar.
as one of Aphrodite's sons, you can bet he's mischievous AND nosey,, and so he probably gets on everyone's nerves.
i can imagine that, being the god of jealousy, he loovessss to stir up trouble between people,, particularly lovers. i think he's always skulking around Olympus and keeping an ear out for potential trouble.
when i was reading up about him, i came across two particular stories that feature Phthonos; the first involving Apollo (because of course it does).
in this myth,, Phthonos tries to rile Apollo up by saying that quantity is better than quantity.. but, naturally, Apollo argues the opposite and spurns Phthonos' greed/jealousy.
because of this,, i can imagine that Phthonos has it out for Apollo especially.. and poor Apollo is a prime target for Phthonos' antics because he has such a long and tragic romantic record.. it's easy for Phthonos to mess around with Apollo and make him jealous or doubt himself.
saying this, i'm realising that Apollo seems to have a really, really bad time anytime he's with a son of Aphrodite.. first Eros, now Phthonos... it's tough :((
now, the second myth with Phthonos is very interesting indeed; in this version of Dionysus' birth, Phthonos is jealous of Dionysus (yes, even though he's just a little baby still unborn!!), and so he intentionally makes a loud noise to rile up Athena, and convince Hera that Semele may be the next Queen of Olympus.
Hera is, as we all know, a decently jealous goddess... and that's understandable-- she's always finding herself having to compete with fellow goddesses and even mere mortals..
but!! even though in this myth, Phthonos is kind of alerting Hera for his own sake,, i really really like the idea that Hera is probably one of the few gods out there whom Phthonos actually respects.
i mean.. no one could understand her deep envy more than the embodiment of envy himself.
even though he likes to mess around with most gods, i think Phthonos actually acts pretty genuine with Hera.. not just because she's the Queen and she could kick his ass if she wanted to,, but i like the idea that they have some sort of common ground.
i'm not sure if i'd call them "friends".. but i think they would share gossip with each other, and enjoy creating conniving, wicked plans together... she'd be one of the few who actually tolerate Phthonos.
besides Hera, i can see Phthonos also participating in the Erotes' antics. he may not be a regular member of the retinue, but he is still their brother, and i think envy + jealousy in romantic relationships is commonplace-enough to earn Phthonos a claim to the Erotes' little clique.
of course, since i think Phthonos would be quite the gossiper and antagoniser, it's only natural that he should be friends with Hermes... Apollo and Dionysus despise this relationship greatly, but alas, Hermes does as Hermes wants.

Character Intro: Draco (Kingdom of Ichor)
Nicknames- The Great Dragon, Lord of Fire by the people of Olympius
Pop by his daughter
Age- 48 (immortal)
Location- Sparta, Olympius
Personality- Like a true dragon he's fiery, passionate, & wildly animalistic. He's protective of those he cares about as well as being sophisticated and intelligent- though he may come across as a bit somber & intense to others. He's married.
He has the standard abilities of a god. As the god of dragons his powers/abilities include being able to shapeshift his physical form into that of a great dragon, pyrokinesis (can breathe fire too), fire & heat immunity, being able to communicate with all species of dragon, and is able to adapt dragon physiology into his physical form (atmospheric adaptation, body shedding, dermal armor/scale manifestation, supernatural roar, enhanced/supernatural senses, thermoreception, claw/fang retraction, thermal resistance, verical pupils, wing manifestation...)
Draco mainly resides in Sparta at the mansion estate with his family- his wife Adikia (goddess of injustice & wrongdoing) and daughter Dysnomia (goddess of anarchy & lawlessness). Because of his domain, he & his family have unlimited access to the beautiful yet fearsome fire breathing creatures.
Draco has his own companion, a dragon named Darksmoke. The dragon has dark golden yellow eyes, black horns, & gunmetal dark silver scales.
He loves his beer! He also likes the steaming hot brewed black tea his wife makes for him in the mornings. Other go-to drinks include roast coffee (no cream, two sugars), rum & cokes, bloody marys, whiskey, bourbon, and the firecracker (an alcoholic drink made with aged rum, cayenne pepper, lime juice, triple sec, & watermelon).
He has nearly three score of dragon eggs incubating in a nearby volcano.
Draco is really passionate about creatures' rights- especially those of dragons. He's disgusted & vehemently against illegal dragon hunting, breeding, and underground fighting. He also hates when dragons are a part of performing circuses. It's the reason he believes he's the ethical choice when it comes to someone wanting a dragon to own. His dragon pet store as well as the store he sells dragon saddles are located in the Little Sparta neighborhood of New Olympus. Draco also has his business' official website where he also sells extra products catered towars dragon care. He also offers services- teaching new owners how to train & bond with their dragons. Draco also oversees the Museum of Dragons as well.
In the pantheon Draco's good friends with Phlegethon (Titan god of fire), Dyssebeia (goddess of ungodliness & impiety), Polemos (god of the war cry), Perses (Titan god of destruction), Amphillogia (goddess of arguments, disputes, & altercations), Pallas (Titan god of battle & warcraft), Menoetius (Titan god of rage, violence, & rash actions), Ponos (god of hard labor & toil), Isorropía (Isorro) (god of duality, balance, & equilibrium), and Psionikós (god of the mind).
Draco was the official mentor to Adranos (god of fire).
He also holds Anchiale (Titaness of fire) in high regard.
He really likes the spicy breakfast burrito (made with scrambled eggs, various peppers, crispy chorizo, bacon, sriracha, avocado, and spicy lime salsa) from The Bread Box, usually buying a dozen of them on his way to work.
Aside from being "The Dragon", his most important jobs are being a father & husband. Draco placed a dragon's egg in his daughter's bassinet before she was born. He was the first to teach her how to lava surf and smiled brighter than any flame watching her take her first flight on her dragon. Draco has always said he met his match with his wife, finding it hard to resist her when she's angry. He'll sometimes jokingly instigate petty arguments with his wife just to have angry sex.
Draco fondly remembers his wedding. The ceremony took place inside Mt. Etna. Adikia was a vision, her dreadlocks down her back decorated with stunning red sapphires. He's also proud of the ring he got for her- a rose gold cushion cut garnet ring surrounded by two black diamonds.
His favorite thing to get from Olympic Chef is the Inferno Burger (a lb sirloin patty with monterey jack cheese slices, roasted jalapeños, ghost peppers, sweet smoky barbeque sauce, inferno hot sauce, & sriracha) with olympian sized cajun fries.
For an anniversary gift he was presented with an Astrean Silver armor (crafted by Steropes) from his wife along with a pair of Celestial Bronze toed boots.
In his free time (aside from riding on dragonback), he enjoys a wide range of physical pursuits like lava surfing, sword dueling, target shooting, martial arts, hunting, mountian climbing, football (soccer), ice hockey, and axe throwing.
Draco's all time favorite meal is his wife's 5-alarm chili (added with serranos, jalapeños, scotch bonnet peppers, & pasilla peppers) served with cornbread.
"It's a fool's game to come between a dragon and its wrath."

Been kinda noticing that you didn't do a Design for Hermes' Mom, Maia.
Do you even plan to make Hermes' Mother a Goddess like what you did to the Other Olympians' Mothers?
Well, I do know that in original mythology that Hermes is the son of Zeus and the Pleiade, Maia. But I have different parents in mind for Hermes in my AU and I already designed them, Aura the Goddess of the Breeze and Pallas the Titan God of Battle and Warcraft
I know this is straying VERY far from the original Mythology headcanon, but you and I both know that Disney's Hercules doesn't follow Mythology down to every last detail (mostly because of the very controversial subjects that take place, like the brutal killings and the love affairs). And I already made up a couple of wood nymphs and named one of them Maia in my Hercules and the Golden Apples fanfic and I'm not too fond of giving my characters names that sound too similar to others (at least not very often)
But the Pleiades themselves are pretty interesting, maybe I will design Maia at one point
