Random Greek Mythology thought
So Pallas is the name of a daughter of Triton. She was a friend of Athena.
And there’s also Pallas the Titan of Warcraft, husband of Styx, son of Crius and Eurybia.
So what if at a Family reunion for the gods Athena hears Pallas’ name called, the titan, and thinks that they mean her childhood friend, which she accidentally killed, only to be greeted by the Titan.
Then she would probably apologize saying she thought he was someone else whilst crying on the inside.

The Final Titan --- Azeroth. The Pantheon believed her to have such great potential that should she ever awaken, she would become the most powerful titan ever seen… For now she rests…

Hhhh I wish we had more games set in the warcraft universe. Like. I think a warcraft farming sim where you travel to different regions in Azeroth learning from different farmers would fuck severely actually.

Ok so being more serious about the Alexstrasza & Vyranoth cinematic that we got with this update. I am soooooo not normal about it. I keep rewatching it again and honestly it might be one of my favorites of the entire expansion.
It has made me immensely more interested in Vyranoth. (Look at what happens, Blizzard, when you give us good dialogue between characters and create depth to your antagonist!) They actually addressed how fucked up the Titans messing with eggs to make the whelps innately more likely to bend to their vision.
They intensified my dislike of Alexstrasza!
Who put her in charge of every flight’s eggs??? Stop that. Stop it. Smashing blue eggs in the past, the awful experiments that ultimately resulted in Wrathion, the Titan-water “nurturing” all the eggs. Why is she in charge of everyone’s unborn babies? She is fucking them up!!
“Oh no the Titans changing the whelps inside the eggs was a bad thing and I regret my part in it every day :(“ GIRL YOU ARE STILL UPHOLDING IT!!! SHUT UP!!! YOU ARE STILL SITTING ALL YOUR EGGS RIGHT INTO THE TITAN-INFUSED WATERS!!! Siding with Vyranoth on calling her out about that lie.
“You promised you wouldn’t force the Titans’ will upon us.” Oooooh and then if Raszageth’s account is reliable, the Incarnates were locked away for not conforming to the Titans’ vision.
Vyranoth going “vengeance is all that’s left” like ohhh my god. Her world is GONE. The proto-dragons cannot exist like they used to. Modern Azeroth is soooo hostile to them. An antagonist who, according to one of the ‘good guys’, was known to have always been acting with dragonkind’s best interests in mind deciding that the only course now is to avenge a world lost? I’m eating it up tbh. I want more of her.
I really really hope Dragonflight continues to explore these topics. I really hope they don’t take the route they did with Sarkareth and go “here’s a villain- no, stop, don’t sympathize with him, actually he’s eating the Void and insane and you have to kill him look how unreasonable he is”. I want an antagonist that isn’t trying to be presented as a clear-cut good vs evil. I want so much more out of this story (that I probably won’t get tbh but oh well, that’s what being delusional is for <3)

My beliefs for the status of each Old God.
I believe it has been said that all of the Old Gods are dead, but it has also been stated that death is not final.
Unfortunately the page containing the original interview that said this is gone, but the English translation of the quote in question still exists on Wowhead.
"I would say we should consider them dead. However as with all things in World of Warcraft and the Warcraft's universe dead isn't always dead. If there was a coming of forth of the Old Gods or herald of the Old Gods come down from the great dark-- I can see that easily happening. Not saying that happening, I'm just saying death isn't the end of the line in World of Warcraft, and it really never has been. I think that's kind of been from your character to the world around you. There is a cycle."
The Warcraft Wiki cites a slightly different translation of this quote.
"I would say that we should consider them dead. But! As with all things in World of Warcraft and in general in the Warcraft universe, death is not always final. Therefore, if there is the coming of the Old Gods, or some precursor of the Old Gods appear from the eternal darkness, from the Void, for example, if there is any way or opportunity to return them, I imagine that this may well happen."
Y'shaarj - Dead. Possibly could come back but I think it is unlikely.
Yogg-Saron - I refuse to believe he is dead. Ulduar was just pushing him back into his prison. From what I've heard, according to Exploring Azeroth: Northrend, some still hear his whispers, although I have not read it myself and I have heard that some things in it do not align with the actual lore. It could be a situation like with the heart/blood of Y'shaarj, but I doubt it.
C'thun - Was probably still alive until 7.3. Sword of Sargeras most likely killed him though. It is possible that parts of his body could still exert power like what happened with the heart of Y'shaarj.
N'Zoth - Since N'zoth died in Ny'alotha, which is an alternate plane of existence, it is possible that we destroyed a vision of him and he is fully alive, the plane is connected to the void and his spirit was also destroyed, or the plane is more connected to Azeroth leading to his spirit being sent back to the void. I think option 3 is most likely. We know that past N'zoth, or the Knowing Presence, saw the events of The War Within. ("With many eyes, they will see again. They will drink, and be uplifted." clearly matches the plot summary of Azj-Kahet) If he saw our future, he likely also saw our past, including us killing him. N'zoth likely worked his own death into his plans. Either, his death is forwarding his plans, or he has a contingency to come back from death.
Theories for the Future
N'zoth - I personally believe that N'zoth will be in Midnight. We know that the void has been trying to gain access to the Sunwell, and we know that it possesses the power to summon beings and restore spirits. (Summoning of Kil'jaeden and revival of Kel'thuzad as a lich) I don't think we are going to see full zone sized N'zoth looming over the skybox of Silvermoon, but I do think that Xal'atath (or some other void aligned entity) is going to summon N'zoth's spirit to store in a mortal vessel.
Y'sharrj & C'thun - I don't think we will see either of them. It is possible that with my N'zoth theory, all three could come back, but they aren't really enough of planners to benefit from existing in a mortal vessel.
Yogg-Saron - Come on, we are returning to Ulduar in The Last Titan. Yogg-Saron's prison. There's no way he doesn't come back. On top of that, The War Within is already giving us Nerubians, which were Aqir descendants connected to him.

so ive never blogged before, ive never used this website before. then why am i on here? great question, idk. heres to me spilling my every thought onto a tumblr page
i did however look up 'how to blog' heres what it said: 1. choose a topic 2. design it (and configure it) 3. understand your audience 4. write compelling and valuable content (rightttt... ive seen sm of that)
so heres me identifying my audience, hi im a 17 yr old who is graduating in less then a month but is failing their classes. ive done theatre all my life, i watch anime, play online games and read like hell (i just bought a book set for 300$). theres not much to me other then that and my actual fear of butterflies. count this as my introduction ill put more things i like in the tags
also whats ur take on drake vs kdot (kendrick 100%) bc im studying their lore more then i am for finals rn

When The Last Titan drops...
and we go back to Northrend, I wonder what the new capital will be for the expansion. I doubt they'll go with Dalaran again, so operating on the assumption that we'll be using an existing location, I think that the likely options will be...
Grizzlemaw - now ruled over by Furbolgs that are finally purified
Zul'Drak/Gundrak - Could easily see surviving Drakkari finally banding together to rebuild, and maybe opening up to the other factions to ensure survival/out of desperation. I like to think it would be a coalition of living and undead trolls
Wintergrasp - Finally find some greater use for it
Moa'ki Harbor - According to Exploring Northrend, the largest Tuskarr settlement since losing Kaskala
Kaskala - Finally reclaimed
Pal'ea - According to Exploring Northrend, has been reclaimed by the Tuskarr and is currently expanding
Isle of Conquest
Strand of the Ancients
Azjol-Nerub - Not too sure about this one considering what's going on in tWW, but I feel like it's a fair possibility
Coldarra/the Nexus
Crystalsong Forest - Unlikely, but I could see them rebuilding in the Highborne Ruins, especially if they go with a Dalaran connection and the elven factions. Doubt it though, considering the expansion before this will be so Elf-focused
Didn't consider any Storm Peaks locations, considering that it seems we'll be fighting the Titans who will be based out of Ulduar, or Icecrown locations, considering I doubt that anybody would choose that. Sholazar also has Titan connections and also no locations that seem like they would fit for a capital city.
