THIS is the ideal eddie and robin dynamic (steve is obv the one filming). “they’d be best friends they’d be mlm/wlw solidarity” NOPE! maybe there was a moment of kinship in their “hunt the freak” shared look but whatever tentative friendship could have blossomed btwn them wilted and DIED the SECOND eddie tried lighting a cig and robin smacked it out of his hands. do you understand. that was a mutual “ⓘ eddie / robin will remember that” event and half the time they spoke to each other afterward they sounded annoyed and/or bitchy and/or rude and it was BEAUTIFUL. rolled eyes emoji all over the place. talking abt the war zone surplus store “how is any of this legal” “well LUCKY FOR US it is. so.” like that shit floored me don’t you want more of that don’t you think it would be hilarious. bc robin thinks that eddie is annoying and loud which he is and eddie thinks that robin might have been cool until 1. she denied him a smoke in trying times (framed for demon possession murder + hell confirmed real + steve now shirtless) and 2. she insulted his music taste by implying that all his beloved tapes were #not music. and then somehow everybody turned that into an “eddie is a metal purist” moment when it literally wasn’t but that’s besides the point. the point is eddie and robin get along as far as they can throw each other which is not very far at all but they like to try
