I don't know anything about anything, but I'm fascinated by the PR angle of that Daniel and Max interview. The Project (the show this aired on) is an popular current events show in Australia, so there's going to be a lot of general audience members who don't know a thing about F1, and this will be their first time being exposed to either Max or Daniel - so imagine you don't know them, and the first thing you see is a character interview designed not only to make these two drivers likeable, but also as if they like each other.
Daniel's team want general audiences to look at Max and think of Daniel. They want people to think Daniel and Max are 'bound' in some capacity, even though they're technically no more connected than any other drivers on separate teams. It lends credibility to the bid of Daniel at Red Bull, without explicitly saying so. Even if audience members don't know anything about F1 or Max & Daniel's history, they're going to understand on some level that you wouldn't be doing a cheesy fun interview together if you were only 'competitors'. Some might be interested enough to google Daniel after the show, and find out that he's in the mix to go to Red Bull, i.e. the team that's been dominating for the last few years - and an Australian audience will respond very well to that.
Meanwhile, Max has been dogged by his reputation of being rude and standoffish basically his entire career, so imagine the benefits of a primetime show introducing him to a whole group of new people as basically this giggly, sweet guy who happens to be very good at racing. What about that 'domino' effect of easily likeable Daniel liking Max, aka "we like Daniel and Daniel likes Max, so we like Max"? There have already been Australian shows perpetuating the narrative that Max's dominance is boring, and this is a counterweight; he'll win, but that's okay because we (the audience of the Project) like him. Max is a polarising figure in the sport, but this interview isn't about F1 fans - it's about the general public, and getting them on Max's side.
It's all just interesting to me!

The image was the first official photograph released following the princess' abdominal surgery in January and was circulated by major news and photography agencies.
However, four of the largest agencies issued a "kill notice" for the image, asking those who were using it to remove it.
AP reported the reason for the image recall was: "It appears that the source [Kensington Palace] has manipulated the image in a way that did not meet AP’s photo standards."
"The photo shows an inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte’s left hand," AP stated.
Reuters later reported it had removed the photo for similar reasons to AP.
"Reuters picture editors said part of the sleeve of Kate's daughter's cardigan did not line up properly, suggesting that the image had been altered," it said.
"Reuters could not immediately establish how, why or by whom the alteration had been made.
"Leading picture agencies distributing news photographs prohibit the publication of images that have been overly edited."
The Reuters Handbook of Journalism states that Photoshop can only be used in limited matters like formatting, cropping, sizing and balancing tone and colour.
"Materially altering a picture in Photoshop or any other image editing software will lead to dismissal," it says.
AFP and Getty Images also issued their own notices and removed the image from their sites.
The photo is still up on the Princess' social media accounts.
Dr TJ Thomson, senior lecturer in visual communication and digital media at RMIT, says the image shows clear evidence of manipulation.
"The most obvious example is around Princess Charlotte’s left sleeve cuff. The left side of Princess Kate’s hair and her right hand also appear to be unnaturally blurred," he says.
Tumblr media
Dr Thomson also ran the image through a forensic analysis software called WeVerify.
"That suggests that in addition to the cuff area on Princess Charlotte, the branches in the top-right corner of the image were also manipulated."

do you think louis’ gonna have a new stunt soon? i feel like it’s weird that right around the same time the stunt with the blonde happened last year louis’ now in australia hanging around girls and liking alycia’s pictures while she’s also in aus or maybe im just paranoid and it’s a weird coincidence
It’s definitely weird for him. He’s never been one for following models/actresses etc. But, it does go along with the image he’s created for himself. Maybe he’ll have a PR relationship with one of them. Maybe the visuals of being a “horny dude” is enough.
It seems to me that there are plenty of Louies who think he’s straight anyway and he’s made it clear that he’s a “father” so… do we really need him to be dating a model too? 🙄🙄🙄

Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love, Theoretically has usurped The Love Hypothesis as my favourite Ali Hazelwood book. Let’s see if I can articulate why 😅
Like all of Hazelwood’s books, I found this incredibly easy to read. I flew through it, finishing it in a day or two (instead of sticking to the readalong schedule oops). It’s got the same humour, science references (which I loved because I like science, though I’m bad at physics), and some fun character cameos and Easter eggs.
I need to take a moment of appreciation for the side characters! Millicent is a riot; Greg is precious and deserves to be protected at all costs. I wish they (and Cece with her mysterious Kirk) had more page time.
My two favourite things about Love, Theoretically were Elsie’s growth and Jack.
Elsie is a people pleaser who adapts herself to whatever she thinks people want her to be, even when it’s detrimental to her life. I related to those aspects of her personality WAY more than I thought I would 🫣 It was empowering to see Elsie find a person she could truly be herself with and learn to speak up for what she wants and desires.
Now, Jack! Where do we find our own Jack? 😍 He was so supportive while also knowing exactly how to push and encourage Elsie to step out of her comfort zone and speak up. He’s also the definition of the “he falls first” trope and I admire he was willing to step back and wait for Elsie to be ready. Their opposites-attract relationship might just be my favourite of all Hazelwood’s couples.
Thank you, Hachette Australia, for sending me a copy of this one as part of a Tandem Collective readalong.

Finding the Best Migration Consultants
When it comes to relocating to a new country, there are many factors to consider. From visa requirements to cultural differences, the process can be overwhelming. That's where migration consultants come in. These professionals specialize in helping individuals and businesses navigate the complex world of immigration law. But how do you find the best migration consultants? Here are some tips to help you find the right consultant for your needs.
Research: The first step in finding the best migration consultants is to do your research. Look for consultants who specialize in the country you're interested in relocating to. Check their website and read reviews from previous clients. This will give you an idea of their level of expertise and the quality of their services.
Experience: Look for consultants who have a proven track record of success. Experience matters when it comes to navigating the complexities of immigration law. Look for consultants who have been in business for several years and have a strong reputation in the industry.
Communication: Communication is key when working with a migration consultant. Look for consultants who are responsive and easy to communicate with. They should be able to answer your questions and provide clear and accurate information about the immigration process.
Personalized Service: Look for consultants who offer personalized service. Every client's situation is unique, and the best migration consultants will take the time to understand your specific needs and provide tailored advice and support.
Value for Money: Finally, consider the cost of the consultant's services. While you don't want to compromise on quality, you also don't want to overpay for services that you don't need. Look for consultants who offer competitive rates and value for money.
