the restart especially hurt ace, who belongs to a twin cabinet of the exact same game, and is the exact same character. ace blames curveball for his brother's death, leaving curveball finding company in a glitched out, gameless racer, who has been unable to leave the abandoned remnants of a cabinet which got unplugged 9 years ago

the racer wants curveball's help. he can't leave the ruins unless he fixes his glitch and changes his appearance entirely. surely helping him won't hurt, right...?

Very important legend headcannon,

I see him as the physically weakest link as a baseline, he's relied on power bracelets and titan mitts his whole life, in some of his earlier games he can't even push a pot around. That and a bad diet his whole life.

That being said! How does he gain the respect of the macho gorons? He dances! Everyone's aware that the gorons have a movement culture but it's really in the oracle games you get to join in on their sessions.

Picture this, twilight and legend have to get through some goron sacred ground and they have to achieve "brother" status to get through. Twilight tosses their biggest guy no problem, but he's worried. Legend's so small, they're gonna crush him! And they made him take off all his gear waist up! He starts to try talking his way through it but legend shuts him up.

Legend gets up in the ring with the goron he's supposed to face, and proceeds to execute the most acrobatic breakdance routine twilight has ever seen in his damn life. The gorons go insane, egging him on. At the end of it they cheer and recognize him as a brother immediately. Legend puts his clothes back on and smirks back at twilight, still dumbfounded.
