Jaiden was the one who woke up the earliest in the house they all called home. She would roll out of bed, out of Niki’s arms most of the time and head to the kitchen. Never having been the best cook, she had asked Niki ages ago to help her learn some. Now every morning she woke before the sun to make eggs for the whole family. It was so tender her eyes would tear up if she thought about it for too long. 

Mouse was the second one to wake up. Anywhere between a half hour and a hour after Jaiden woke and started breakfast, Mouse would wander into the kitchen in a pair of pj’s that were absolutely never hers and greet her with a peck on the cheek. They kept each other company in the early mornings. The rest of the women were much bigger sleepers than them. 

Empanada woke up around the same time that Bagi did so Bagi was the one designated to fetch the young girl from her room and bring her out to eat. Bagi made the most delicious pancakes. Jaiden and Empanada would rave about them every morning that she made them while Mouse just watched them with a sleepy content expression. Domestic bliss. 

Tina was up next, crawling out of her and Bagi’s room with a yawn and an adorable tired smile. She would wrap her arms around her girlfriend as she cooked, going non-verbal for the first hour or so after she awoke. Everyone who was awake would take Em to school. Pile in the minivan, turn up the music, and they would be off. They had used to worry that there would be a time when Empanada would be embarrassed of them but every single day without fail, she kissed them all before she got out of the car, signing i love you after them until they had driven out of sight. 

When they finally got back, Baghera would be half awake perched on the kitchen counter eating their breakfast leftovers. “We can make you something?” 

“Baghera, please let us make you some food for once.” 

She always brushed them off. “Non, non. This is fine, mes petits choux. I am content.” 

Niki would awaken last but always managed to be the most bright eyed. She would make them all tea, not taking any of their “oh you don’t have to”’s with any seriousness. 

“I insist. Let me spoil you all.” 

It was unusual, they all knew that. But it was home. Ellas son casa.

Hot take and not to be a killjoy or the shipping police but people treating Viktor or Jinx's aroace headcanons as if they were canon is not the revolutionary take people think it is.

Headcanons are always all right but we have to acknowledge that they are somehow damaging when they apply to stereotypes. It might not be the case for everyone but most of the time people unconsciously assume that disability/mental illness=asexuality. These headcanons erase the freedom of attraction from people who are already seen as unable to have sexual/romantic experiences/desires, when it's completely untrue and harmful.

You can headcanon Viktor and Jinx as aroace, but I have seen people changing their minds once Viktor is no longer disabled (s2 with all of his other forms) and Jinx is no longer as mentally ill (alternate universe Powder). And it speaks wonders of how people see these characters.

"I never thought about Jinx being able to feel romantic/sexual attraction until s2!" To believe she's actually only capable of that when she's not "damaged" is incredibly disturbing. Especially since Jinx has always had a bit of a flirty personality too.

"I've always seen Viktor as asexual, I don't know why!" That's fine. You can headcanon him as ace. But I believe there is a reason behind it, most of the time, if for some inexplicable reason the "vibes" of the disabled character are making you think he's ace.

I say all of this being aroaspec myself, by the way. Headcanon all you want but going to people's posts commenting how "it's weird for you that they have romantic/sexual plots when they're clearly aroace" is not a win at all. It's a headcanon, after all, and it should be treated as such, and that's fine. But it also is damaging to spread stereotypes like these.

Of course the disabled character is asexual. Of course the mentally ill character is aromantic. It's not as revolutionary as you might think, tbh.

Fandom is not activism and it's all right to have any headcanons you want BUT some of them are filled with damaging stuff and perhaps we should look into ourselves more before treating these assumptions as something canon.

Not all legendary pokemon are highly intelligent, Yveltal for example are akin to regular wild animals. Acting on instinct.

Xerneas, however are one of the more highly intelligent Legendaries. And they really do earn their status as a 'Legendary' as far as they've been researched only two have been found, one in Kalos and the other in the opposite side of the world. Xerneas are highly sociable, they tend to seek out populated areas and tend to be tolerant to human presence.

Xerneas are seemingly fond of their destructive counterpart- as they have been seen picking out 'Brood Parasites' out of their nests. Yveltal tend to linger around areas where a Xerneas is present too, mainly due to the fact that they practically expel an extreme amount of life energy which the Yveltal feed on.

i love when words fit right. seize was always supposed to be that word, and so was jester. tuesday isn't quite right but thursday should be thursday, that's a good word for it. daisy has the perfect shape to it, almost like you're laughing when you say it; and tulip is correct most of the time. while keynote is fun to say, it's super wrong - i think they have to change the label for that one. but fox is spot-on.

most words are just, like, good enough, even if what they are describing is lovely. the night sky is a fine term for it but it isn't perfect the way november is the correct term for that month.

it's not just in english because in spanish the phrase eso si que es is correct, it should be that. sometimes other languages are also better than the english words, like how blue is sloped too far downwards but azul is perfect and hangs in the air like glitter. while butterfly is sweet, i think probably papillion is more correct, although for some butterflies féileacán is much better. year is fine but bliain is better. sometimes multiple languages got it right though, like how jueves and Πέμπτη are also the right names for thursday. maybe we as a species are just really good at naming thursdays.

and if we were really bored and had a moment and a picnic to split we could all sit down for a moment and sort out all the words that exist and find all the perfect words in every language. i would show you that while i like the word tree (it makes you smile to say it), i think arbor is correct. you could teach me from your language what words fit the right way, and that would be very exciting (exciting is not correct, it's just fine).

i think probably this is what was happening at the tower of babel, before the languages all got shifted across the world and smudged by the hand of god. by the way, hand isn't quite right, but i do like that the word god is only 3 letters, and that it is shaped like it is reflecting into itself, and that it kind of makes your mouth move into an echoing chapel when you cluck it. but the word god could also fit really well with a coathanger, and i can't explain that. i think donut has (weirdly) the same shape as a toothbrush, but we really got bagel right and i am really grateful for that.

grateful is close, but not like thunder. hopefully one day i am going to figure out how to shape the way i love my friends into a little ceramic (ceramic is very good, almost perfect) pot and when they hold it they can feel the weight of my care for them. they can put a plant in there. maybe a daisy.

Phillip: absolute trouble maker, will escape and will cause chaos. Has to be separated from the group sometimes because he will start fights.

Gregory: Polite and gentle young lad, loves his berries. Ghost tends to let first time rat handlers hold him first to get a feel as Gregory isn’t fussy.

Ivo: Most skittish but over all nice. Never bites, will go bald soon.

Toms: most energetic and curious rat, is usually the one scrapping with Phillip. Fussy eater, might bite of feeling moody. But on a good day, very happy to get pets and to be held. Might run away if too excited.

I love them. So much.

I always wondered why they don't nickname Chilchuck to "Chil". Because Chilchuck is quite a long name, it's way easier calling him just Chil. And then this.

It's all the opposite of how it would normally work. Usually, people call each other by their first (or second sometimes) names, but when they're called by the full thing... it means either nothing good is happening, or they're being called in a formal way.

Isn't imposible to think that the party actually called him Chil, since it's his first name and a nice nickname for him. In fact, they probably did, and Chilchuck told them they shouldn't call him that and explained why. They stopped calling him Chil, and accepted calling him Chilchuck for the rest of their lifes, apparently. Actually, we don't see anybody calling him like that until...

Laios tries to get his attention with something that normally would. Calling him his first name, something that he told them specifically not to do doesn't even makes him flinch. And then he's sure that Chilchuck is out of it and proceeds to intervene.

It's such a subtle detail, I don't remember if they call him "Chil" on other panels, if they do, reblog with evidence so we have all the oficial Chil moments here.
