I think I need to explain: one of the show's writers, Mae Catt explained that they were originally going to have an episode that introduced Drift and Ratchet as a "married couple" who would help the Maltos and the Terrans on how to unlock the cyber sleeve powers. Drift would approach things from a spiritual angle while Ratchet would approach it via a medical or scientific angle. Eventually the Terrans and the Malto kids would have figured out a way combining both of their takes.

So yeah, Drift and Ratchet were very nearly in season 1 of Earthspark.

I think there’s a good chance that Jazz would at least be mentioned if not show up and become an actual character in the 2nd half of earthspark.

Earthspark obviously has no qualms with introducing old characters and it’s pretty much the entire show.

I mean if you look at Alex’s story about the war back in the first episode; the scene where they destroy the space bridge you can see that Prowl, Jazz, and I’m pretty sure Ironhide we’re definitely still on earth when they destroyed it. 

you can also say that Alex wasn’t totally accurate or that was just what the kids were imagining when he was telling it, but i’d like to believe for my own sanity that there’s a good chance we’ll see not only Prowl but also Jazz.

40 years of franchise

Optimus Prime has had Elita(g1, tfa, and tfe), no? But also that weird tension with Shockwave(g1 idw), Dion (g1), and of course his obsession with Megatron(everything), right?

Okay, so you know... pretty bi to me :D

But then you have Megatron. So with Megatron, you see Kiloton, Ultra Magnus (idw and Netflix trilogy) Rodimus (idw) Starscream(choose your media) and of course his obsession with Optimus Prime, right?

No women, I see no tension with any female-presenting robot in the franchise, right? I remember him being close with elita in the Netflix trilogy before the war broke out, but I don't remember it being a love triangle kind of thing.

And he once said Nightbird was "hot enough to replaced you (Starscream)" when said mech said "she's not so hot" (g1 cartoon)

Other than that nothing.

We have both make and female characters lusting over him, tho. However, he hasn't reciprocated their avances (unicron trilogy)

SO... what I'm trying to say is that nothing in 40 years of franchise negates the possibility of Megatron being gay since Megatron has never hinted any interest towards women or female-presenting robots.
