Jude had spent a lot of time with people that had been called monsters or had labelled themselves as such. There didn't need to be any monsters, men and free will was enough monstrosity in the world. But that being the case also meant that anyone could be redeemed. As everyone had already fallen short. The more Jude learned about Mathias the easier it was to give him the space and time to point out the good in him. To nurture love in the other.

It wasn't about fixing Mathias, it was showing Mathias that the way he'd lived wasn't the only way left for him. And he had found loyalty, curiosity, an abiding kindness for animals and yes, even love in Mathias.

The physical part had always been the most difficult piece of this relationship to navigate for Jude. He wanted to give good moments, good experiences to Mathias. But he had so much guilt about the vows he'd taken. The promises he'd made. Kissing Mathias was like being drunk after a while. All of that pent up desire. Small movements of hands, brushes of knees, the soft needful sounds. It was more than a little maddening. But above all Jude needed to know that Mathias was alright. When Mathias broke the kiss Jude opened his eyes, blinking with kiss swollen lips as Mathias pulled on his sleeves.

He followed, unable to do anything else. Slipping off shoes as he laid down next to Mathias, pulling the smaller man against his longer frame. He held them together, before he bent his head and kissed Mathias softly. Putting a hand on Mathias' chest and feeling his heartbeat as he asked quietly, "Alright?"

Patience was all that was ever needed. Mathias needed someone that wasn't quick to write him off as a lost cause. He had been too young to know it, but all the doctors and professionals had failed him as a child. They saw what he had done and never once thought to figure out why. They just labeled him as a monster and then set him aside with the rest of the unwanted things. Jude had given him that patience and a way to live out a life he never thought he could.

There were many reasons why he felt the way he did. From how Jude never seemed to turn Mathias way, to how he touched and held him gently. Life didn't have to be so cold and unloving. Any past sins he committed were forgiven, washed away by the promise of a life without them.

Mathias could have stayed there kissing Jude forever. Kissing him was the best way he could show Jude what he felt without speaking. But it was dangerous. The thin line they often tip toed across, careful not to take things too far (even if they both maybe wanted it). It was a game of making sure the other was certain and okay, while trying to calm nerves and be secure in their own choices. He had to pull back from Jude again, breathing hard. His hands trembled as he tugged on Jude's sleeves, pulling him back towards the bed. Words wouldn't do it justice.

He wanted to lay with Jude, and he let go of the other just so he could climb into the bed they shared. Mathias laid down among the pillows and sheets and reached his arms out to Jude, inviting him in with a reassuring smile.

In TWP I do hope we see more Julian with Dru and Ty with Dru

But I also hope to see Dru with Tavvy dynamic in TWP.

And I’m interested to possibly see more of Tavvy’s character (I know he’ll just be 10 but still)

But Dru is def closest with Tavvy than her other siblings as she has spent the most time with him growing up. Even though Dru is closer in age with Ty, Livvy and Julian— they were always paired up Ty+Livvy, Emma+Julian

Also in TDA from Jules’ pov Tavvy is “the baby” whereas to Dru Tavvy is more her “baby brother.” So even though Dru has taken care of Tavvy, she is not as parentified as Julian

Plus Ty moves to the scholomance and Julian starts his travel year post TDA while Dru still stays in LA with Tavvy since she still has a few years till she can attend the academy.

And it’ll still takes Tavvy and Dru time to get used to Helen and Aline so they stick together. Plus when Helen and Aline go out, Dru still hangs with Tavvy.

So yeah in TWP since Ty and Dru will be the main Blackthorn siblings (like Mark and Julian in tda) hopefully Tavvy will be the main little sibling (Like Dru in tda) and have more of a role

when I tag things as not sfw or similar terms, I hope people realise it's following the Actual definition of "not safe for work," i.e. material best not to view around certain places/people because it may get you in trouble and therefore filter, such as at work.

I saw someone go on a little rant on some art somewhere over how a person before them had tagged it as partial nudity, in their words, to be on the safe side, bc there was a very obvious peek of animal woman nipple in one of the drawings. and this second person got so passive aggressive about it, like, "ohhh nooo, a Nipple!" because they thought people should focus on destigmatizing nudity as inherently sexual, which I agree with, but I really don't think the initial tags came from a place of prudishness, and more, you know, if you get caught scrolling past big furry nipples in the wrong place, people might have something to say about it.

"I Saw The TV Glow" was a really great film! Highly recommend it!

...Though I must say I should be cautious about thinking I can determine the vibe of a film solely by tumblr posts about it. I genuinely thought I was going to experience a psychological horror film with a fair amount of body horror and Lynchian storytelling when really it's a PG-13 drama that I could comfortably watch with my parents lol

i mean they can censor the blood for an OoT remake and make it like… black. I mean it could have the same effect. However the game might just be E 10+ because modern nintendy is full of cowards

If the blood was the only issue I would agree. I'm pretty sure they just took the blood out entirely for the 3D version (except for the patterning on the deadhands maybe) and changed Gan's to green instead?

They usually go with blue or green to make it less gorey than red. Black might be too stark, and make the player think it's a shadow or something interactive.

I think modern Zelda games are already rated E10+ though, unfortunately, and that's pretty much as far as that can go.
