He is accurate within 10 seconds of 5am every day.#I think the Jiang disciples are most likely used to waking up around 6:00-7:00am#But the allure of having a guaranteed time keeper getting you up in the morning is worth the earlier hour.#I imagine they started outside lwj's door and slowly moved closer as the weeks went on.#Now LWJ has to cope with being way too warm in the night from all the extra body heat.#LWJ is not a fan of this but they scamper off immediately after he wakes up and they at least show initiative to follow routine.#NHS joins in only because he is a chronically heavy sleeper and needs this level of intervention to get up early.#His boldness would be a death sentence in the cloud recesses but here? Whole new game.#Yungmeng Jiang isn't a lawless land. The culture around creation right now is fascinating to me, because whether we’re talking a blogger with a couple hundred followers on a dying website or the biggest artist in a generation, huge groups of people seem to think that creators should mold their creations to suit the consumer and get angry when they do not. When in reality, the creator gets to decide the direction and it is on the consumer to let it go and find something else to consume if it isn’t what they want.
#this shows up time and again#with anons asking bloggers to change something about how they blog#or fans demanding their faves change who they work with or how they create#that isn’t the consumer’s call#the consumer can choose to consume the creation or not#but they don’t get to decide the direction#and it’s not to say no one should have an opinion#but it’s they way the opinions are expressed that feels different#it used to be ‘yeah I love This Band…their second album wasn’t my fave but man do I love their third and fourth’#and now it’s ‘This Band should completely change their sound because I personally am bored of it’

So it only took us about an hour and at least a dozen pulls, but through the sheer power of camaraderie, coordination, and pure sticktoitiveness (and no small amount of perverse stubbornness), 24 strangers managed to down The Minstrel's Ballad: Amon's Revenge!
#ffxiv#patch 7.0#syrcus tower#amon#friend and i did alliance roulette and it dumped us in there#that first group vote abandoned#but it put us right back in and we realized this was probably gonna keep happening#thankfullythe second group had enough people that wanted to keep trying we could outvote any abandoners and get them to leave instead#and we eventually amassed a full crew of people who wanted to beat the bugged version#and we did it!!!#i figure msq will still be there tomorrow but this bug might not be#yes i would prefer that one person were not wearing the awful warbonnet glam but i cannot control other ppl >.>
