Had an artistic vision come to me the other day and even though I can’t draw the best I wanted to translate it to art form! I present my work, “Perceived”.

A little note about what inspired this:

There is an area on the way home from my grandparents that would have deer and coyotes and whenever I would drive by they would give me a look that felt like they were looking into my soul. Specifically the fever would just kinda sit there and stare intensely, even more than the coyotes, and it was a bit unsettling. I wanted to translate this feeling and I thought, what if that feeling was a lot, lot worse? And what’s worse than one pair of eyes looking into your being? Multiple! I also thought deer horns looked cool and I thought this many eye idea would fit well into the space between the deer horns.

Building on this, I always found mounted heads of wildlife uncomfortable whenever I saw them at family friend’s houses (that one episode of Gravity Falls def didn’t help at all), and I thought how spooky it would be to see a head of an animal we typically don’t see mounted on a wall up there. This led me to the human head idea, combined with the deer horn eyes from earlier to get this idea in my head I tried to translate here. Wether we like it or not, we are perceived in many ways, and this was my way of trying to show it. I hope you like the little art I spent the last 2 to 3 hours translating my very little art skills into. I thought it came out kinda neat and hope you find it neat too!
