My Record Store Day haul + fav spins of the week. Nothing excitedly stresses me out quite like RSD. Saving up for months for it, freaking out wondering if I’ll get my hands on anything, always finding them and then sitting over them like a dragon guarding his treasures.

Let’s get into it:

You guys ready for my favorite spins of the week? Because I scored some new albums - and my credit score somehow didn’t suffer for it (I was desperate for RSD vinyl and I am irresponsible - don’t be like me).

Let’s get into it:

1: The fancy clear Give Way live 1995 Australian Show by Pearl Jam - easily one of my favorites. The version of Hail Hail on this soothed my small 5’7” stature.

2: The Rockfords RSD record! This record blew my mind. I didn’t hear it before buying it so it was a risk, but I’m incredibly thankful to be a “fuck around and find out” sort’a collector.

3: Pearl Jam’s self titled avocado album. One of my favorite albums by my favorite band. I’d tell you what song is my favorite, but there’s not a song on here that I skip.

4: Painted Sheild! Holy shit, give this a close listen. You won’t regret it, trust me.

5: Elephant by The White Stripes - which is the album that got me into them.

6: Dave Grohl’s early band, Scream. If you can give this album a listen, definitely do it. It’s so fucking good.

7: Songbook by Chris Cornell - which is such an emotional album to listen to now. My mom was lucky enough to see one of these shows and I had almost gone but didn’t like a fool. Wishing so hard I’d just gone.
