Yeehawgust Day 1: Gather the Posse

This absolute mess of people is my Red Dead Online posse comprised of me, my two younger brothers and our friend.

My baby brother becomes an unhinged killing machine in this game, My middle brother is a shopaholic and is constantly changing his look and picking up the free outfit no matter how bad it looks ;) Our friend likes a fun bit of friendly fire now and again and me, well, I can cook TWO pieces of meat at once now so I'm pretty much a pro gamer ;)

Hoping the rest of my Yeehawgust art is a bit more refined but I'm gonna try to do the whole thing so some pieces might be of a... lesser caliber ;)

Hello!

Quick question- how would GT touring races work in the Cars-verse? I mean, I’m going out on a limb here, but as far as I know, GT Touring in our world is pretty much restricted to e-racing and Le Mans (which is only one time a year…) So is GT-touring racing in Cars-verse just Piston Cup but in Europe? (Aka weekly races. Around Europe… yeah.)

Hello to you, too! I think we might be working with different definitions, because I don't typically think about e-racing and Le Mans in the same class. Oh wait, unless e-racing = endurance racing? (I was thinking electric cars, LOL, like Formula E.) In which case, Le Mans is an endurance race, so it fits under the broader category of endurance racing, and is presently part of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

There are lots and lots of different GT series, not all of them endurance race-based and not all of them in Europe. Super GT, for example, a renowned Japanese series. There's also GT America in, well, America. XD I don't follow sports cars, so I don't know a whole lot about them, but because of its proximity to NASCAR via "rich people who own all the racecars, I guess," I'm pretty sure IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship and the Rolex 24 have GT classes and are in that same general family.

The reason I'm not really sure if I understand your question/am not sure if I'm actually answering it is because I can't think of a reason these classes of racing would function differently in the Carsverse than in ours. It seems like it would be a pretty direct translation, particularly given that a number of the WGP cars are probably GT racers, and whatever Jeff Gorvette is up to is probably closer to that than it is to the Piston Cup.

If you mean how would endurance races work, specifically, I imagine there's two kinds--relay-type endurance races (AKA cars switching off shifts of the Rolex 24, rather than human drivers), and solo endurance races, where it's just the one car for the whole thing.

Would Lightning be down to try an endurance race? Of course. You had him at "race." They're probably not his favorite, because Lightning appreciates his sleep, but in our world NASCAR hosts some of the longest races known to man (LOOKING AT YOU, COKE 600--but even just on average, a Cup race tends to be longer than most other race series' bread and butter races), so I imagine the Piston Cup has also prepared Lightning well for such things.
