Madara would answer that he’s happy doing anything with this partner, which is true - outdoor dates, traditional dinners, local festivals and cozy nights are all wonderful ways to spend time together.  Considering both of them have such busy schedules, Madara is grateful for every opportunity to spend time together.

Madara will go one of two ways, depending on what his partner needs. Do you want to be encouraged, to smile again, to laugh? He ups his antics and says something truly outrageous to distract you. He’ll keep going, saying all sorts of nonsense while hugging them tight until their cries turn to hiccupping laughs. 

But sometimes that isn’t what’s needed, and Madara is just as good as taking his partner’s hands and listening. They can squeeze his hands as tight as possible, it won’t hurt. Hell, they can hug him too tight or shout and hit, it makes no difference to him. If Madara could take all of that hurt into himself, he would. Madara takes his partner’s happiness very seriously, and is willing to be their punching bag and/or security blanket for as long as they need.

D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

It creeps up slowly, these thoughts of domestic living. Madara doesn’t turn away from them or feel embarrassed. He turns the pleasant thoughts over in his head, considering all the hopeful what ifs. He wonders if his partner has the same daydreams. It doesn’t have to be the “ white picket fence with kids and a dog”; that doesn’t suit him, anyway. 

He just wants a future where he and his s/o continue to be together and support each other, and he finds himself thinking of simpler, smaller things first - like, if you two moved in together, would you borrow his clothes? Wouldn’t it be nice to have your shoes next to each other at the door? 

E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

Madara leans dominant, but that doesn’t mean he’s domineering or forceful. Rather, he has a quiet confidence in his feelings and desires, and has no issues being the one taking the lead in dates, affection and intimacy. If his partner would rather take initiative, by all means! Madara is pleasantly surprised to be on the pampered side for once. He’ll also easily give into his partner’s desires, not wanting to deny them anything - but he will be a tease about it. 

F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

Yes, Madara will forgive easily, even if he wasn’t in the wrong. He doesn’t want to fight with his partner. In fact, he’s willing to tolerate and “lose” a lot of fights for their sake, but he does have a limit. 

If the fight is over something trivial, Madara will give his s/o some space first. He needs to sort out his own thoughts and words, too, then he checks in to see if they’re willing to talk. He wants to keep it calm and make sure both their feelings are heard and understood. 

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Generally, yes, Madara is deeply grateful for his partner and tells them as much! Really, not a day goes by when he isn’t praising them. However, if his partner is more subdued and closed off in their feelings, or does things to help him secretly, Madara is not as aware. He still adores them, but might quietly wonder if he ever bothers them.

(That’s until a little birdie tells him all these things his s/o did or said for him - then he rushes straight to them to heap tons of affection!!)

H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

Well .. …. Yes, there are secrets. His reasons for not divulging them range anywhere from it really doesn’t matter to it’s something I have to do on my own. His partner likely isn’t aware of even half of what Madara was and is involved in, and as long as it doesn’t directly affect them, he plans to keep it that way. He can be tempted to confide in them … and maybe someday, in a very roundabout way, he will. 

I nspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

It could easily work out both ways; Madara is so used to doing things for others, he falls naturally into that “fixer” role when his partner is troubled. If they denied him that role, and tried to help him - well, that’d be one hell of a surprise. Around the right partner, Madara would be more relaxed, less stressed, more assured of himself. Those who don’t know him well wouldn’t see a difference, but those who do would pick up on his improved energy.

J ealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

First of all, Madara is fully aware of how childish his jealousy is and how quickly it can spring up. He’s good at suppressing it, especially when it’s over something foolish. Yes, his partner is popular and has lots of affectionate friends, and yes, sometimes he feels an itch of jealousy when said male friends are clinging on his s/o. It used to be worse when they weren’t dating, Madara would feel compelled to wedge himself between them with a smile and joke. 

Now that they’re dating, Madara is much more patient (usually) and understands he can’t always be the center of attention. If his s/o ever notices this jealousy in him, Madara’s a bit embarrassed … but then just cheekily asks them for attention.

After dating for a while, his partner might notice that sometimes his jealousy flares up the worst around strangers or business acquaintances. Madara will outright place himself right behind or beside his partner, giving a menacing aura and faux-cheery words. His partner isn’t totally sure why their boyfriend dislikes certain men so strongly, but at least they feel protected.

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

He certainly is, even without lots of experience before his partner … but now he has them to experiment on practice with! The jerk will figure out veeeery quickly what his partner likes best, how they react to this or that, which spots make them sigh and which makes them startle. Madara is relentless in his offensive kiss attacks, especially if he was already feeling snuggly. No escape! 

His first kiss with his partner was something he'd been wanting to do for a while. That's not to say he planned it, but Madara had certainly thought about it, so when it happened he eagerly cupped their face in his hand and led a slow, sweet kiss. He was actually being pretty serious, too ... up until he teases them for their cute expression.

L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

Madara would wait, even if he was sure his crush liked him back. He wants to tease and goad them until they’re red-faced and sputtering. He can be patient and stubborn about this! He wants to hear them say it! 

There are two exceptions, though - if his crush is someone who is far too shy and nervous, Madara will take the initiative once he’s sure of their feelings.

The second exception is the fact he often finds himself in dangerous situations - before or even after, Madara might seek you out or call you and just confess right there. It sounds desperate, more of a plea for your affection than a confession of his own. Again, he wants to hear the confirmation.

M arriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

Yes he would, but not because he’s a traditionalist or anything. Madara is perfectly fine with a non-typical wedding or no ceremony at all, he’s just beyond happy and grateful that his partner is in it for the long haul. This is especially true for idols, who have to be so careful about their personal lives. It feels like his partner is “choosing” him over that, which makes him feel very special. 

And yes, the wedding clothes and ceremony and party are all wonderful things, but he’d be just as happy with a dramatic elopement or private ceremony.

N icknames - What do they call their s/o?

Where to begin? He has dozens of names ready, ranging from sickeningly sweet pet names to endless variations on his partner’s name … oh, and he probably was calling them by half of these before the dating started. He doesn’t mind receiving sappy nicknames, and even encourages it. Something like Mā-chan or Mikemin; so overly cutesy, but it delights him anyway.

O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

To people who don’t know Madara well, it seems like he’s acting his usual self around you. Those closer or more savvy will pick up how he hovers just slightly closer, how he’s more eager to give hugs and praise, how he seems to soak up his crush’s attention and watches very closely if someone else is taking up all their attention. He and his crush will already seem like a couple, and he’s obviously delighted by anyone making that mistake.

For them, he gives a lot of himself. His time, his advice, his affection, his trust. Madara will do it instinctively, not thinking about himself, wanting to focus on his (future) s/o singularly. Maybe there’s a little possessiveness in there, too … A little hope that you’ll depend on him more than others.

P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

Yes. If it wasn’t obvious by how he dotes on them and showers them in affection and praise, Madara loves talking about his partner. He’ll bring them up anytime something reminds him of them, which is a lot. Even before he was dating his s/o, he was very clear about his affections.

There’s could be a problem with PDA, though. Madara would love nothing more than to constantly hold and touch and cling to his partner, but as idols, they need to maintain a certain distance in public. In the private offices of ES - where everyone knows about it anyway - Madara and his partner can be more open (they’re still told to get a room, lol). Madara really resents having to hold himself back for the sake of an “image”, doubly so if it also troubles his partner. That just means he’s extra affectionate and clingy once they’re in private again.

Madara has lots of skills, and many translate well to helping his partner out. First there's his experience in the idol business and less savory things but let's not worry about that, he's excellent at reading their moods, and he's calm and composed under pressure. His language skills are great during travel, he's big and strong and protective ... Okay, There are many benefits to dating Madara Mikejima. How can their partner pick one?

R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Mama has the range! He can be anywhere from silly to painfully sentimental to very sensual. It’s half what he’s feeling in the moment, half what flusters his partner best! That’s the best part! But no matter what, he makes his affection and love for his partner clear. It’s obvious in his words, physical affection and things he does for them - not to mention the little dates and time spent together. Madara might not call himself a romantic, but his partner would certainly think it. 

S upport - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?

Oh yes, Madara is willing to go quite far to assist his adorable, beloved partner; especially if they have a great dream in life. It can be simple, considerate support - making them meals, hearing their ideas out, giving feedback - this is especially true if his partner is involved in the idol business, as that's his wheelhouse. Mama will always tell them how much he believes in them and supports them ... and, well, if there's some kind of person obstacle that upsets them or seriously hinders them and he could take care of it ... Madara probably will? He'll seriously consider it, at least.

T hrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?

Sort of both. Madara has an adventurous and daring spirit, so he meshes well with a partner whose similar and will tease and challenge him. But if his partner is more easygoing and predictable, he can adapt well to that … still expect the teasing, though, and he might suggest more than a few things to them. Madara is always considerate of their comfort level, though.

Madara's already excellent at reading others, not to mention information he can dig up. Presumably, he knew his partner well before dating - he kind of has to before he's willing to open himself up to a relationship. Madara was always good at reading their intentions and moods, and now that they're dating, he's even better. One might say he's a little too perceptive ...

Very important; and perhaps if his s/o knew him very well before they dated, they'd understand this well. Madara has lost much in his life and those who have become this close to him are something precious. He places a great deal of worth on his partner; probably more than what's healthy, honestly. The longer he and his partner are together, the more this worth grows and solidifies in his mind.

W ild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

He will melt if his partner plays with his hair, or wants to brush and style it. Madara didn't think it was something he liked until they began running their fingers through his hair, then they wanted to mess with it ... and he gladly lets them. His messy hair was originally because he was unsure how to style it (and didn't always have the energy), but it became something of a trademark, so he didn't worry. Madara's hair is nice and soft, and when his partner starts playing with it, he immediately stops whatever he was doing to enjoy the attention.

X OXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

I mean, we know who we’re talking about, right?

There is no escape from Mama’s hugs to begin with, but his partner? The hugs and cuddles and pick-ups and princess carries and kisses are doubly inescapable!! You already knew he was going to be an affectionate guy going into this relationship, but wow it's up to eleven. Other idols (or you!) have scolded Madara for being so free with his affection in public, or even amongst friends - he just can't help himself.

... Well, he can, if his partner wasn't crazy about the PDA or the relationship was secret. Madara can control himself, you know. It just means his partner will get pounced the second they're alone. Madara likes receiving all kinds of touches in return, but especially if his partner likes to kiss or play with his hair.

Biiiiiig sighs… just so someone can ask and Madara can go on about how much he adores and misses his s/o. If they're gone for just a few days, he might up his antics just for fun. Cue Kohaku texting them to hurry up and come home already. 

On a more serious note, for long trips Madara is great with communication. He’s familiar with time zone differences, so he will wake up at 3am just to give his s/o a call (and!) encouraging text when they're just finishing work or waking up. It’s rough if his partner is an idol too and also has a schedule full of touring and events; but he understands it can’t be helped and does his best to stay in contact so they don’t feel so lonely. He’s delighted by their own enthusiastic texts and voice notes, and saves them for a time when he’s feeling down.

vanilla: what is a food or scent that carries a lot of nostalgia for them? how do they feel if they smell it now?

anything relating to the farm is the closest to nostalgia oscar experiences. old wood, fresh mud, cigarette smoke, cheap alcohol. laundry that’s been left for too long and now smells like mildew or stale air, but also smells clean underneath that. he gets hit with a wave of something when he passes horses in the streets and smells them, and would get the same tenfold if he ever passed cows or chickens or anything of the like, but thankfully he hasn’t seen any since they left the farm. he won’t go anywhere near farms anymore, sticks near the city centre, and keeps morris there with him.

in terms of food, it’s fresh vegetables as they’re chopped, then the fouler smell as they’re boiled into stew. the roasting of meat every now and then, cut from a slaughtered pig or cow, that only pa would get to eat. the sweet smell of fresh berries that he and mo would only get to eat if they picked them themselves - or, more accurately, oscar picked them, because morris was always too clumsy to avoid the thorns. plain dough as their ma kneaded it and rolled it out, the soggy parts even after it’d been cooked that oscar’d eat right through and eat morris’ share of too as he picked them out of his own small plateful.

the memories with morris happy attached are the only ones with remotely positive emotions triggered when oscar’s reminded of them. he still picks a few berries for the both of them if he sees any, and tries not to think about how the juice on his hands always looks like blood, instead focusing on the sweet smell and the sour taste. he always makes sure not to leave the stew boiling too long so the smell doesn’t turn all melded and foul, instead ensuring it stays vivid and healthy. he dries the laundry properly, and uses the soap morris likes.

lemon: what is something seemingly inconsequential that can put them in a bad mood for the rest of the day?

a smell - or any sense - attached to a bad memory, or just a memory of worse times, is a surefire way to send oscar right into a vicious bad mood. passing someone smoking the same brand that pa used to, smelling ma’s favourite drink on the breath of someone he’s beating to the ground, smelling farm air clinging to a person’s dirty clothes.

oscar is also very easily triggered by morris. he tries to keep it hidden, but little things like morris flinching away from him or slapping his hands away or outright lashing out at him rattles him to his core. having morris separated from him also has him off for the whole day, it takes him hours of having morris back for him to feel levelled again.

being snapped at or shown disapproval by someone with power over him. being unable to get his usual brand of cigarettes. being unable to keep an eye on morris exactly how he needs to.

patchouli: what sort of outdoor activities do they enjoy most? do they get the chance to do that activity often?

oscar likes fighting. fighting outdoors in the filthy streets is his favourite, and he gets the chance to do it near every day of his life. but he also likes playing with dogs, the big strays he’ll occasionally come across - particularly when morris goes off to “talk to the dog” and oscar has no choice but to follow him - that can hold their own in a game of tug of war or near knock him over when he lets their heads and they throw themselves at him for more.

Issue 7, 5/31/2023 - The Overseer

The Hermitcitizen Hub is still going strong! As of this week, those in charge are looking for applications to mod a potential minecraft server- more to test the waters and see how much interest there is than anything, but check the announcements channel nonetheless!

The Incident: Whats happened so far, and what to look out for

As many of you know by now, Grian and Scar have accidentally blown up Doc’s Tunnel Bore when they took a short break from building. While the Tunnel Bore had been tested and shown to be both Grian proof and Scar proof, it was not prepared, nor safe, for the two of them at the same time and it has been theorized by many that it is impossible to create a machine immune to the duo’s combined chaos. 

The two soon attempted to fix it using their limited Redstone knowledge after a brief panic, mainly using photos of the Tunnel Bore from before the incident and experience watching other Redstoners building similar machines; they sadly failed after several attempts and opted to leave gifts instead! Amongst these gifts where diamonds, ScarLand merchandise and even TCG cards!

Unfortunately, when they showed Doc the destroyed Tunnel Bore on a tour of the Perimeter, he was not swayed by their gifts or numerous compliments, although they complimented his base and his redstone. Grian and Scar then flew out a pre-prepared escape hole, only narrowly avoiding Doc.

Although Doc enjoyed the ScarLand merch , especially the hats, he still decided that revenge must be taken against them, in the form of haunting the two trouble makers. He began by making an Update Skipper, a simplified version of the Update Suppressor to shrink Grian’s Nether portal to one block, and turning it sideways. Grian’s portal was invisible from approach, and according to inside sources, decided to keep it, and has not attempted to fix it. He has instead decided to take this opportunity to work on the back of the Crastle.

Afterwards, Doc began work on the Wither Reactor, an especially dangerous machine, after receiving five stacks of Wither skulls courtesy of Impulse. In addition to plans for using it for Concrete farming, he added a feature allowing him to collect blue skulls, as although they are rarer and more destructive, loose their extra properties once unloaded.

Soon after its construction, the Wither Reactor provided Doc with enough skulls, and he began placing them over ScarLand forming an ominous cloud over the “Happiest place on Hermitcraft.” Doc furthered his prank by teaming up with Bdubs, after realizing the latter had left horses to freely roam the area as revenge for the death of his first horse. They chose to challenge Scar to a TCG game, and whilst Bdubs and Scar went against each other in Docs arena, the Anvil Canon had been set to randomly launch anvils into the arena, several of them nearly taking out Scar, who was none the wiser, thanks to Bdubs and Docs quick cover ups.

Additionally, many of the citizens residing and working in Grian’s Base, as well as Scarland, have already temporarily relocated, and those who have not done so yet are advised to make plans to do so or prepare for hauntings in and around their places of residence and work.

Gurhulk Begins Hermit Citizen Hub Build in Minecraft

Hermit Citizen Hub member and builder Gurhulk has begun a project to construct a digital architectural version of the Hermit Citizen Hub through Minecraft. While the Hermit Citizen Hub did not previously have a set blueprint for a virtual building, it currently exists as a Discord Server for Hermitcraft viewers, artists, writers, musicians, builders, and engineers. This Discord Server was created by Tumblr user Ink-Ghoul after they had drawn up a Citizen I.D. card template for anyone wishing to create a fictional character to live on the Hermitcraft Server. Since April 11th, the Hermit Citizen Hub Discord Server has amassed approximately 625 members.

Creating a Hermit Citizen involves a few simple decisions, with participants choosing a name, species, occupation, and home base for their brainchild that they bring to the Server, in addition to determining a few Minecraft-related skills for said Citizen. These skills involve building, combat, engineering (Redstone), agility (movement), navigation (exploration), farming, mining, and prank execution. Afterward, an incredible amount of members have enjoyed throwing their Citizens into scenarios that could easily fit the tone of several genres of media and entertainment, including but not limited to prime-time comedy television shows, soap operas, teenage drama novels, workplace comedies, psychological thrillers, horror films, and fantasy serials.

While the creation of a Citizen to hypothetically live in the world of Hermitcraft may seem odd to those unfamiliar with making fan characters, those who have participated have stated that it is a deeply enriching experience for their inspiration to formulate extensive backstories, artwork, writing pieces, and thought-provoking character traits, as well as build interpersonal connections with other fans within this Server’s welcoming environment. The presence of Hermits is often inconsequential to many of the Citizens, as almost all of them have entirely separated arcs, homes, and personalities from their Affiliated Hermits.

The Hermit Citizen Hub Discord Server encompasses channels for artwork, writing pieces, music, and a brainstorming area for participants to ask for suggestions regarding their character creation. Perhaps one of the most significant implementations of the community center is the addition of the Citizen Connections. This feature has helped to kickstart a great number of stories for the majority of Hermit Citizens who are searching for their place among their fellow residents. Notable Citizen Connections Groups with high amounts of activity include the Birds of The Birdhouse, the Sculk Research Team, the Decked Out Crew, the staff of The Overseer, the Scarland Staff, and those affiliated with Watchers among many others.

Gurhulk’s Hermit Citizen is a robot named G.U.R. who works as a caretaker of his maker, Grumbot, living in his cave. He excels in engineering (Redstone) and building. He joined Hermitcraft in Season 7 and functions as a walking redstone torch, in addition to containing multiple decades of knowledge. He keeps a sample of the amethyst that infected the Hermatrix so that he may continue to analyze it. The design of Gurhulk’s Citizen is a humanoid robot standing at six feet tall with a red and gray color scheme and sleek mechanical frame, hearkening back to the days of Isaac Aasimov’s robot science fiction, especially that of Caliban, the archetypal tale of a robot grappling with its place in human society and the advancement of robots to fully sentient beings. G.U.R. arrived on our Discord Server on April 15th.

The Hermit Citizen Hub Build is not the first digital architectural representation of a structure on the Server. The previously completed Build was The Birdhouse, a highly detailed and meticulously crafted tree house with a fully decorated interior. The original concept art for The Birdhouse was drawn by Morph, and a fully realized Minecraft version of said Birdhouse was hand-crafted by Discord User Redfeather, creator of the laboratory technician, mob biologist, and animal behaviorist Citizen of the same name. 

This Birdhouse includes several floors all with different purposes to be the quintessential artistic rendition of the Haven for the Avians. It includes a communal kitchen, infirmary and bird bath, living room, library, sleeping quarters with hammocks and beds, an observatory, a trellis, an outdoor cafe, a large community table at the very top with a beautifully colored stain-glass roof, and all of the luxuries an Avian could ever want. The inside is filled with couches, books, knick-knacks, study areas, plant life, bird toys, and bean bag chairs, and the outside includes private conversational areas, a tire swing, a parkour challenge, and landing pads for new and returning visitors.

To Gurhulk, the Hermit Citizen Hub is a place to interact with numerous wonderful people from the Hermitcraft fan community. Here, he was able to connect with them more so than he was through his Twitter page, finding this as the ideal community center of his escapades. The digital architecture of the actual Build is intended to appear similar to an inside marketplace, taking heavy inspiration from Greek architectural styles. Gurhulk states that he is “definitely going for the Big Quartz Build,” as the idea had come across him during one of his work days. He did not note any specific inspirations for the project, though he had previously seen The Birdhouse. With the use of the Immersive Portals modification, Gurhulk plans to make the structure on a large scale from the inside to represent the various channels on the Server. Therefore, its interior will be much larger than its exterior. He sees this location as a place for Hermit Citizens to come together outside of their affiliated bases, as well as being a gathering place for various groups such as The Overseer staff, SSS, and SUS, among multiple other groups.

With the attitude of taking one step at a time and seeking ways to enhance his work, he sees this as a perfect opportunity to show how he has improved over time. The project has been in the works since Wednesday, May 24th, when he asked for other members’ input about color ideas and began putting together the modifications he would need for the structure. On the following day, he confirmed that the other members would enjoy the use of the Greek-inspired architectural style with a blue and cyan color palette, and began building its front porch section. Modifications for the project have also been implemented, including the Create Modification, Chipped, Immersive Portals, and MrCrayfish’s Furniture Modification, along with a few others. Due to the number of modifications being used, Gurhulk is uncertain about the feasibility of an efficient world download but stated that he would consider it when the project is finished.

Gurhulk’s representation of the Hermit Citizen Hub in architectural format is one we intensely look forward to, as it takes an analytical and innovative individual to translate these features of such a large online space to a physical version within Minecraft, and a creator with an unfathomable amount of gumption to present the result as an intended location for the entire population of the Server. In addition to a description of the overall beginning stages, the community has received two photographs from Gurhulk of the initial progress of the Hermit Citizen Hub Build. These photographs depict the front porch area and the front balcony. These photographs were taken on May 25th, May 26th,  and May 30th.

Soup Cats, Legit or Souptaster?

Recently opened by the Pearlescentmoon affiliates with locations across the server near any and all Twinkly Trash outlets, Soup Cats is a surprisingly punny store selling a variety of goods of the soup variety, including soup themed clothing. Although innocent at first glance, upon further inspection, some anomalies arise. The most pressing being that of all the workers being cats or cat hybrids, which seems quite normal until you consider these people were not cat hybrids last week. Join reporter and writer Nes as she visits one of these locations to uncover the truth beneath the soup. 

Upon first entering their shopping district location, I was immediately overwhelmed by the cozy yet chaotic nature of the interior, followed shortly by the equally chaotic nature of two workers named Zera and Larimar. Although it took some adjustment, I did find myself enjoying the atmosphere after some time, especially the cozy seating and cat cafe vibes that came with the various felines lounging in and around the establishment. 

Before placing my order, I had the chance to speak with Head Chef Zera and Head of Marketing Larimar. Apparently, they had been expecting me. During a conversation laced with soup-based puns and general excitement for the store being in the paper, I was unable to learn much outside of my already existing knowledge on the establishment. Regardless, I enjoyed my time with them both immensely and highly recommend visiting just to talk to them and all the other staff!

This article isn’t about the staff and their amazing hospitality. This is about the soup and the secrets that lie within. Upon Larimar’s suggestion, I liked and soupscribed to Pearlescentmoon before ordering the mystery soup, as suggested by Zera. After ordering, they assured me that the meal was completely safe, which did not bode well for me, but I carried on despite my hesitance. 

The soup I received was deceivingly appetizing in appearance, and I was left alone to enjoy my meal. Interestingly, there was a faint glow radiating from the otherwise plain looking potato soup. I would be lying if I claimed I wasn’t slightly concerned for my well being as I took my first bite, but despite the anomalies, it tasted fine! In fact, I’d be willing to bet it was the best soup I had ever had. 

Overall, I would rate the experience a 10/10, with amazing service staff and even better food. Not only that, but as I left, I was able to buy myself my very own soup themed shirt! I had a wonderful time and meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow*

Lost and Found

Item 1: A lodestone compass, Found in a pile of barrels in front of of Bdubs’ castle. The pile was eleven barrels high at its tallest and seventeen barrels wide at its widest. The barrels were completely empty except for a barrel at the center, which contained a single lodestone compass. Following the compass led to a bedrock pocket in the perimeter, which did not contain a lodestone but did contain Item 2. The compass is now spinning endlessly with no apparent target in sight. If the compass is not collected, it will be returned to its pile of barrels for Bdubs to handle as he sees fit.

Item 2: A pair of sunglasses with six lenses, found on the floor of the Perimeter. These glasses, when held up to the eye, allow a player to view set locations in six different servers, with each server corresponding to a different lens. Citizens reported splitting headaches and double vision for up to an hour after use. The glasses have been placed inside an ender chest for safekeeping, and will be removed only upon request for return.

Item 3: A bag of seven polyhedral dice, found on the roof of Cleo’s megabase. When one die is taken out of the bag, another die of identical shape but different color takes its place. There seems to be no end to the amount of dice the bag can produce, as careful tests (read: holding it upside down for an hour) have demonstrated the bag’s regenerative capabilities to be mildly impossible. If the bag belongs to you, make sure not to slip on the dice-covered floor when you come to pick it up. 

The Museum Situation

A few weeks ago, we here at The Overseer provided you with a comprehensive guide to Cleo's fabulous collection. This week we are covering the escalation of the "museum situation."

You may ask what “museum situation” means, and I am glad to say that it is my name for the current and past events surrounding all museums on Hermitcraft. That’s right, there is more than just Cleo’s collection, and this is less a guide for the rest and more of a history rundown on them.

Starting with Cub’s museum, we are happy to inform you that there are a few parkour courses inside and outside the facility. Another great part of it is the experience that it provides you when getting from the third to the second floor with the use of slime blocks. Just this time, we encourage you to jump from the barriers. 

Regarding the exponents, Cub has collected all of the easter eggs from the Easter Egg Hunt, including the Gold Eggs used in the final round to determine the champion. The redaction of The Overseer would like to remind you that said Egg Hunt took place over a year ago. 

Another fine thing you may find in that museum is an interactive music display, where you can listen to important music discs from Hermitcraft history. For example, “The Ballad of Joe Hills” is there. Most of those discs, as well as multiple heads of Empires members, were collected from the Christmas area.

Speaking of collected heads, due to the kingmaking and dungeoncreating nature of BdoubleO, he has his own display in the museum that consists of his head, his original bed, and a crescent moon made by Cub to represent the nature of the exhibit.

Hermit history is not the only thing collected in the museum as we heard that there are some rare ores on display there.

For now, the last part of the exhibition is a small stand for King Ren that involves some old tomatoes that were thrown at him, a statue representing him, and the Invite to the Vault Party that started the downfall of monarchy.

If you want to take a more comprehensive look at the story surrounding King Ren, we are happy to inform you that across the road from Cub’s museum, you can see the Royal museum focuses only on that part of our history. Cleo managed to find absolute rarities to put in said museum, including a replica of the actual King’s throne and a replica of the cage in which Ren was put after the King’s Vault events. 

Aside from those showstopping replicas on the parter, we can find all of the crystals and infamous pumpkins from the King’s Quest time. Next to them, there is a representation of the rewards from it. On that same level, we can find a head of the good King Ren, a replica of the tiny crown, and right beside them is an entire exhibit dedicated to the Vault Party, which has the original “No, No, No” music disc, the Invite, a crystal from the quest, and head of one of twelve Xisumas that are to blame for said party.

On the other side of the throne, we have a representation of the Bad King Ren’s rule, including Gigapies™, Royal Emeralds, affirmations written by the King Ren himself, armours representing those given to the contestants in King’s Vault, and the original Sword of Lady Cleo from that event.

Upstairs, members of King’s Court are represented in small displays. With them, there are original diamond glasses that belonged to Lady Cleo. The last exhibit shows the further story of the now only figurative monarchy on Hermitcraft.

We are glad to inform you that both museums are looking for donations both in the form of items and diamonds. We are also happy to inform you that Jevin already is trying to profit off this and that the original King Ren’s netherite armor from the King’s Vault event is still on display in Pearl’s Trash Shop.

After the situation escalates a bit, we will give you another short rundown on the museums with further developments in both collections.

Appearance

Makina is a slender girl of below-average height with porcelain skin and apricot-colored puppy-like eyes. Her wild and unkempt lilac hair is loosely styled into half pigtails and pinned in place with her indigo and silver puzzle piece-shaped barrettes.

Her attire usually consists of a black fitted sleeveless crop top paired with bubblegum-pink lace-up shorts, held with white overalls and a chain belt. Attached to her overall is a small zip-up pouch in the shape of a black bunny that she uses to carry her medicines as well as her vape. She sports an oversized white and ruby-pink cropped hooded jacket where the sleeves extend far past her hands, covering her clear and pastel purple painted nails littering with holographic flakes. Her only piercings consist of her lobes: one side being a black rose-shaped stud attached to a silver skull joined with a black coffin, the other being a longer earring with a black coffin attached to a dangling silver chain with a silver skull on the end. She finishes her look with white thigh high socks and black lace-up platform boots with holographic zippers and buckles to make up for her lack of height. When she's streaming, she dolls up by painting her eyes a bright red and light purple and stamping chunky glitter in the centre of her eyelid and below her eyes, mimicking a teary-eyed look.

When away from the camera, she wears a ridiculously oversized sweatshirt that reaches the middle of her thighs, the colors split down the middle— one side being baby blue, the other being bubblegum pink. The bottom portions of her sleeves alternate between the cotton material and a sheer cloth in a stripe pattern.

Personality

She often presents relatively soft and mild mannerisms and promotes a comfortable and cozy aura. Which, offline, can sometimes come across as unenthusiastic and uninterested in whatever is going on around her. She feels no shame in running off to avoid any trouble and refuses to make decisions, since she doesn't want anything to be her fault, and doesn't want to disappoint anyone. She does tend to be sharp-tongued and often banters with her viewers, though all in good fun.

The game world, however, is where her intense competitiveness shows. She has a strong drive to place 1st or complete every game she plays and tends to throw a fit when things don’t go her way.

In spite of her usually sarcastic nature, she is kind-hearted and loyal to her viewers. She feels that they make her feel accepted and she no longer feels alone. She often expresses her gratitude to them.

Hawah, the Woman | Hawah a Mulher

Hawah is a Sim from Original Age - Genesis in the Legacy History Challenge. She is the partner of Adamah, the First Sim and lives in Paradise together with him. Hawah is based on the biblical character Eve.

Hawah was created along with Adamah, but he convinced her that she was created by The Watcher only to keep him company in Paradise. Thus, Hawah became Adamah's partner. Being like Adamah, she initially had the same personality, but over time she discovered more things about herself, becoming Active, Familiar and Neat. With Adamah, Hawah discovered woohoo and its consequences.

Hawah foi criada junto com Adamah, mas ele a convenceu de que ela foi criada pelo Observador apenas para lhe fazer companhia no Paraíso. Assim, Hawah se tornou companheira de Adamah. Por ser igual a Adamah, ela inicialmente tinha a mesma personalidade, mas com o tempo foi descobrindo mais coisas sobre si mesma, se tornando Ativa, Familiar e Asseada. Junto com Adamah, Hawah descobriu o oba-oba e suas consequências.

PISTOL - do they trust people easily? how easily will they turn their back to someone? have they been backstabbed before? will they betray someone if given an ultimatum?

não confia nem na própria sombra. ela não se importa tanto assim com ninguém então ela nem considera virar as costas já que ela nunca sequer... esteve ali de frente pra alguém num primeiro momento. claro, ela tem uma certa lealdade com o time de líderes de torcida, também é muito leal ao jason, à própria mãe e à yuna, aí as coisas mudam de figura. falando neles... sim, foi traída pelo melhor amigo, jason, e atualmente está muito magoada, porém, há uma porcentagem dela que até pensa em perdoar. tendo isso dito, ela não trairia essas pessoas específicas, mas todo o resto? sim. confie nela por sua própria conta e risco, a suzy sequer parece alguém com quem você contaria, honestamente. ela é honesta, beleza, mas é só porque ela é desagradável de propósito mesmo não porque ela é super genuína nem nada do tipo.

o que ela considera mais importante são as notas e o desempenho esportivo, quem ela considera mais importante é uma questão mais complicada. a vida inteira foi a mãe dela, depois, foi o jason. ultimamente ela está se sentindo muito em conflito porque 1: yuna e 2: traição. depois que ela descobriu sobre o jason com a irmã dela, a mãe dela ficou provisoriamente como primeiro lugar, mas a yuna tá bem ali no encalço, inclusive, de um jeito muito mais saudável do que o amor obsessivo e ressentido que ela sente pela mãe dela. e considerando que a mãe dela odiaria saber sobre a yuna, é o começo de um processo onde ela vai deixar de se importar com isso pra priorizar quem realmente gosta dela.

FALLING LEAF - do they enjoy being in nature? what is their favourite outdoor activity?

essa riquinha mimada aqui? bom, ela gosta de fazer caminhadas matinais no parque, e ela acha que isso já é contato o suficiente com a natureza.

PUNCH - are they quick to violence?

não tanto, mas definitivamente pode acontecer. a suzy se irrita bem fácil, especialmente com quem ela considera burro/idiota/perda de tempo/feio, então existe sim a possibilidade de que ela vá acabar empurrando alguém e puxando uma discussão se estiver em um dia ruim.

ANGER - what are some habits they have that will take some getting used to?

ela é bastante mau humorada. não sorri fácil, está o tempo todo com a postura irritantemente reta e parece estar julgando as pessoas o tempo todo. é como se o tom natural dela já fosse um julgamento, então pode ser difícil de lidar com ela porque ela nunca parece satisfeita com nada.
