I wouldn't expect this home to be so artsy and colorful inside, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a 1946 traditional, updated brick home in Fort Smith, AR. 4bds, 5ba, 5,627 sq ft, $4.575m.
Enter the blue front door to an impeccably decorated home filled with art.
It's so pretty.
Moody family room with bright splashes of color.
They have flawlessly combined formal antiques with playful modern art.
It looks like the dining room is in a lovely sun room. Great marble floor.
Love the kitchen. It doesn't even really look like a kitchen.
That gold exhaust hood.
Off the sitting room, there's an entertaining space. Love how the bar is situated above the sunken room. The bar is a beauty.
And, the room is very comfortable for guests.
The guest powder room is so classy. Look at the marble sink.
The main stairs are castle-like. Love the stained glass windows.
Fabulous.
The primary bedroom is beautiful.
And, look at this bath. This home has to be the work of a designer.
The shiny modern take on a vintage tub, paired with that shower, are spot on.
Even the hall is amazing- look at the table.
Love this orange room- so well done.
Matching ensuite.
Great family room. It's so comfortable looking.
The home office really looks like it means business.
This is formal, but look at the playful figurines and bright art.
The other stairs have a wonderful little desk nook.
Outdoor living is amazing. Beautiful pool and patio.
Basketball.
Outdoor kitchen/living room.
Plus this incredible private park, all on a 2 acre lot.

Lilia Vanrouge and Silver - Sleeping Beauty Sleeps On
Silver, Age 3 - Many Years Ago…
Life in the woods was a peaceful life, quiet and happy for what seemed like everyday for Lilia and his precious son. Everyday was practically filled with sunshine, laughter, and endless smiles from his beautiful little boy. Nothing could ever go wrong- or at least that is what Lilia thought, after all, how could one simply slip past him and his watchful eyes and incredible senses? Certainly no one would dare enter his territory without expecting severe consequences for their actions. He was a father, naturally he was on high alert for his toddler’s safety.
Though, nothing could ever have prepared him for the fright that was to unfold before his eyes…
As he stood at the kitchen counter preparing himself some tea, Silver played happily on the rug by the fireplace still happily in his night clothes looking cozy that chilly February morning. Lilia was in no rush, it was to be a slow day with snow and light winter weather so he had no need to quickly change Silver to his day clothes and prep the child for the outdoors, for now it was more than alright to keep the little one indoors all cozy by the fire.
Silver was an energetic boy, always happy to wake up and greet the day and be the most sunshine filled child Lilia had ever seen. He was normally a ball of energy, little sleepiness inside him, other than at nap time or bedtime- however, that was about to change and Lilia’s whole world was about to shatter.
The child hummed a small tune he heard many a time from his father’s lullabies as he coloured, Lilia smiled, only turning away for a second to pour the kettle until silence was all he heard… then a thud. A loud thud.
Lilia froze, blood running colder than the winter air outside the cottage, the old fae turned around to see his once happy toddler now laying on the ground still… deadly still. He wasted no time in running to his fallen child, praying to any devine being above that his baby was alright.
“Silver?! SILVER?! ANSWER ME!” Lilia yelled frantically as he checked the child over for a pulse- there was a pulse and some small, deep breaths… he was alive but asleep… how? Silver showed no signs of sleepiness before… “SILVER?! SILVER?!” WAKE UP, CHILD!”
No response… only a sleepy exhale and a twitch from the sleeping boy. Lilia panicked, what could have caused this? How could his very awake child suddenly pass out without warning? Silver was just fed his breakfast, no possible way it could have been from lack of food and low blood sugar levels- was it exhaustion? No, it could not be that either… Silver slept as soundly as ever that night, no waking up from a nightmare or an accident, no cries or anything of the sort.
A small yawn left the boy’s lips as he stretched adorably from his sleep, waking up slowly and opening his aurora eyes to greet his frightened father who had tears in his eyes.
“Hmm…? Papa? Papa, what’s wrong? You okay?” The tiny boy asks sleepily, reaching up to lovingly pat his father’s face with his tiny hand. “You okay now, I’m here.”
Lilia could not hold back, he embraced his still sleepy child and held him tightly to his frame. In all his many years of life and experiences of the horrors of war and suffering he had never been more frightened in his life. The sight of his own son, his baby, on the floor appearing as if he were kissed by death itself sent him into a fearful state he had never experienced before.
“My baby… I thought I lost you… oh my baby, my baby boy… you frightened this old man so.” Lilia felt a tear escape his eye, he carefully picked up his son and walked to their favourite rocking chair by the fireplace.
“But- but I’m okay… I sleepy though…” Silver yawned. “Dunno why I’m so sleepy, papa… wanna take a nap now…”
Lilia could not help but crack a smile at his little one’s remark and his adorable sleepy whine. “Alright, just a short nap, alright? Then it’s straight to the doctors office, young man. You cannot be frightening papa here, I love you too much.”
Silver giggled sleepily and then fell right to sleep with his head resting on his father’s heart. The elder fae only held his son closer, trying not to break down in tears again. For the first time ever he feared his child sleeping, what if he never awakened from his slumber? What if he…
No, no, he must not think such awful scenarios. His baby was fine, he was fast asleep cradled in his arms where he should be.
“Great Sevens above, please do not take my child from me… do not take my baby… anything but my baby…”
———
Silver, Age 17 - Present Day…
Classes finished that crisp fall evening and all students were ready for a restful Friday night after a week of hard work and dedication. Midterms were over and everyone was finally feeling the need to unwind and relax. In Diasomnia, many of the boys were finding the time to watch television and keep up with their favourite series, read, learn a new card game, or simply try their hardest not to get food poisoning from a certain Vice Housewarden…
Malleus and Sebek were learning to play a new board game in the lounge when Silver sleepily walked past them and up the staircase to his bedroom. New book in hand, he wanted to attempt to get some much needed reading done before classes started back up on Monday morning. He loved to read, and it just so happened that the literature planned for history was a beloved tale from the Briar Valley about the Sleeping Princess and the Knightly Prince. This was a story he knew well, after all, his father or Malleus would read it to him before bed. The story of true love awakening a fair princess made his heart soar and a soft blush appear on his face.
‘I’m oddly sleepy again…’ the silver haired boy sighed to himself. ‘I just have to try and keep myself awake for as long as possible so I can try and get ahead of the upcoming assignments…’
The sleepiness was definitely not going away. Not anytime soon that is.
Silver opened the bedroom door and sat at his desk, book in hand and began to read….
3… 2…1…. Out comes the snores.
Nope! Not now! Silver jolted himself awake and shook his head like a puppy who got itself wet. He placed the book face down and patted his face a bit in an attempt to keep awake- though, he knew it would probably not get him very far it was still worth a shot. Silver sighed and closed the book, there was no way he would get anywhere near his goal with this drowsy spell so he pulled out his worksheets for Crewel’s class and started to work on those instead.
‘Perhaps the story is making me sleepier because it used to be my bedtime story as a child… hmm, yeah, that must be it. Bedtime stories would make anyone… sleepy… Zzzzzz…’
Silver slumped forward and began to drift off into a deep sleep, much deeper than one of his regular naps. His arm lay limp above where his head rested and his other arm as a pillow. He was still, too still… his breathing slowed and his body became heavy. Sleep had claimed him once more, earning yet another victory over Silver.
Silver began to enter the dream world, stepping fully away from the world outside his closed eyes and into a world where anything was possible, even the impossible was possible. Perhaps even in the dream world his father would become a better cook, he wondered many a times in his dreams.
Soon enough, that very father appeared in his bedroom with a suspicious bowl of what he called mushroom risotto, smiling happily at treating his handsome son to a healthy and nutritious dinner.
“Silver! I made your favourite! Mushroom Risotto~ with some add-ins of course~! Very nutritious!” Lilia paused, his eyes falling onto the slumped over figure of his son laying at his desk, homework scattered under him.
“Oh dear, asleep again? Wakey wakey, sleepyhead! Time to eat~!”
No response… once more his son lay before him unresponsive and still, deathly still…
“Nothing hm? Still.. why.. why am I…?” Lilia began to tremble violently, his breath gasping, he reached a trembling hand forward towards his son but nothing- he could not touch him. He froze in his place.
“Deep breaths, deep breaths… calm down… this is not the first time this has happened. Why on earth am I shaking?” The ancient fae began to take deep breaths, trying his hardest not to hyperventilate, he had to remain strong for his son, for Silver…
“That’s right… this is not the first time this has happened. I must check his- no… it’s not the…”
Lilia’s panics ceased at the sound of a sleepy whine and a shuffle coming from the boy, Silver was waking up.
Oh thank the sevens! His boy was alive!
“Hmm…? How long was I… out…?” Silver stared into his father’s now fear filled eyes, concern now flooded through him, perhaps something happened when he was asleep?
Lilia leaped forward, tackling Silver into a tight hug, a hug he could feel his father trembling.
“I’m okay, father… we are okay…”
Lilia shook his head, sighing softly, “No, no we are most certainly not! You frightened me terribly again, young man! Once more I think it’s time I drag you to the doctor to make sure you are really alright… but before that I made you dinner~ best eat up now, dear!”
Silver eyed the bowl of suspicious mushroom risotto and then to his father nodding. Oh how he prayed that he would survive this round of culinary war crimes- and by the looks of the mushrooms in the dish he was thankful to be going to the doctors soon after.
“I asked that lovely young man in Octavinelle for some of his home grown mushrooms, he seemed so happy to share his lovely little fungi with me~ kufufufufu~!”
Oh great sevens above… help him survive this…
“T-thank you, father…”
“Of course! Oh and that reminds me, I will be spending the night here with you~ I cannot leave my baby after he scared the absolute crap out of me! So I’ll be here all night~! Lullabies included, dear~!”

The Sims 4 Elemental Legacy Challenge Inspired by Genshin Impact
This is an Elemental Legacy Challenge in The Sims 4 based on the elemental system from Genshin Impact. Each generation represents one of the seven elements in the game: Anemo (Wind), Geo (Earth), Electro (Electricity), Dendro (Nature), Hydro (Water), Pyro (Fire), and Cryo (Ice). Each generation will embody the personality traits, careers, and goals associated with their element, along with a distinct home aesthetic and play style inspired by their powers. It does use a lot of packs, but it can be easily edited for what you already own.
General Rules:
Each generation must represent one of the seven Genshin elements.
Traits, careers, skills, and homes must align with the assigned element’s theme.
Follow the goals outlined for each generation.
No cheats allowed (except for build cheats or mods that don't give unfair advantages).
You can randomize the starting element, or assign them in a specific order.
Each generation must have outfits where their signature color is dominant. Formal, everyday, and athletic outfits can vary, but the signature color should always be present in some way.
The color scheme should be prominent in the home design, particularly in key areas like the living room, bedroom, or kitchen. You could even assign specific rooms to feature the signature colors more heavily, like having a red kitchen for Pyro, a blue bathroom for Hydro, etc.
The clothing styles and homes don’t have to be based on the nations, since the game doesn’t give us the option to keep both the styles and the colors, but feel free to use CC as long as it’s purely for the aesthetic.
Generation 1 – Anemo (Wind)
The Anemo generation is free-spirited, calm, and adaptable. They love exploration, independence, and solving problems creatively.
Traits: Loves Outdoors, Loner, Noncommittal
Aspiration: Renaissance Sim or Outdoor Enthusiast
Career: Scientist, or any freelance career
Signature Color: Light Green and White
Theme: Breezy, light, and airy
Goals:
Max the Singing and Guitar skills.
Travel to different locations often (take at least 5 vacations in their lifetime).
Own a home that features open spaces, light colors, and lots of plants or wind chimes.
Avoid long-term romantic relationships until later in life (Anemo Sims value freedom).
Have at least one child after a long period of wandering, to "settle down."
Optional: Complete the Bird Feather collection.
Generation 2 – Geo (Earth)
The Geo generation is stable, reliable, and seeks to build a lasting legacy. They are practical and hard-working, focused on wealth and security.
Traits: Ambitious, Materialistic, Self-Assured
Aspiration: Mansion Baron or Fabulously Wealthy
Career: Business or Architect (modded careers can work here)
Signature Color: Gold and Brown
Theme: Stability, strength, and opulence
Goals:
Max the Handiness and Gemology skills.
Build or purchase the largest house possible by the end of their lifetime.
Collect rare stones or gems.
Have a large family (minimum of 3 children) to secure their "dynasty."
Their home must be large and built with strong materials (use stone textures, earthy tones, and gold accents).
Optional: Complete the Crystal collection.
Generation 3 – Electro (Electricity)
The Electro generation is energetic, impulsive, and creative. They thrive on innovation and technology but can be unpredictable.
Traits: Genius, Hot-Headed, Erratic
Aspiration: Computer Whiz or Master Maker
Career: Engineer or Tech Guru
Signature Color: Purple and Black
Theme: Bold, modern, and futuristic
Goals:
Max the Programming and Robotics skills.
Build at least 3 electronic devices from scratch (robotic helpers, drones, etc.).
Create a "high-tech" home, featuring lots of gadgets, electronic lights, and futuristic décor.
Occasionally sabotage friendships or relationships due to impulsive behavior, but make amends afterward.
Have 2 children, both of whom must be raised to appreciate technology and innovation.
Optional: Complete the Space Prints collection.
Generation 4 – Dendro (Nature)
The Dendro generation has a deep connection with plants and animals. They value growth, nurturing, and environmental stewardship.
Traits: Loves Outdoors, Vegetarian, Green Fiend
Aspiration: Freelance Botanist or Country Caretaker (if you have Cottage Living)
Career: Gardener or Veterinarian
Signature Color: Green and Yellow
Theme: Natural, lush, and earthy
Goals:
Max the Gardening and Herbalism skills.
Maintain a large garden with at least 8 different types of plants, including rare and exotic species.
Live in a home that is mostly natural materials and surrounded by greenery (think lots of wood, plants, and natural light).
Befriend at least 5 animals and adopt at least one pet.
Have 2-3 children who help maintain the garden or care for animals.
Optional: Complete the Gardening collection.
Generation 5 – Hydro (Water)
The Hydro generation is peaceful, creative, and adaptable, often focused on emotions and connection to others. They enjoy helping and healing others.
Traits: Creative, Family-Oriented, Child of the Ocean
Aspiration: Painter Extraordinaire or Friend of the World
Career: Doctor, Painter, or Conservationist
Signature Color: Blue and Teal
Theme: Flowing, serene, and aquatic
Goals:
Max the Painting and Fitness skills.
Build a home near water (by a pool, lake, or beach) with soft blues and aquatic-themed décor.
Spend as much time as possible swimming or in water-related activities.
Throw at least 3 major family gatherings or parties during their lifetime.

Career: Chef, Actor, or Athlete
Signature Color: Red and Orange
Theme: Bold, passionate, and energetic
Goals:
Max the Cooking (or Mixology) and Romance skills.
Throw a minimum of 5 major parties during their lifetime, with as many sims as possible attending.
Create a home with bold, bright colors (especially red and orange) and a focus on social spaces like kitchens or bars.
Have a fiery romance with multiple partners, but ultimately settle down with one true love.
Have 1-2 children, but with a strained relationship early on (resolve it as they age).
Optional: Complete the Voidcritter collection.
Generation 7 – Cryo (Ice)
The Cryo generation is calm, stoic, and sometimes distant. They can be emotionally guarded but are reliable and thoughtful once you get to know them.
Traits: Loner, Perfectionist, Gloomy
Aspiration: Nerd Brain or Academic
Career: Scientist or Detective
Signature Color: Light Blue and White
Theme: Cool, calm, and reserved
Goals:
Max the Logic and Research & Debate skills.
Build a home in a cold or wintery area (with ice-themed décor, white or light blue tones).
Avoid close relationships for much of their young adult life, but form a deep bond with a single Sim later on.
Visit Mt. Komorebi or another winter vacation spot at least twice.
Have 1-2 children who grow up in a more reserved, intellectual environment.
Bring the founder back to life.
Optional: Complete the Snowglobe collection.
Bonus: Legacy Symbolism
To tie the legacy together, introduce a family heirloom or symbol that changes with each generation but keeps the essence of the element. For example a painting from reference of each heir, or a photograph.
Build a museum to display the heirlooms and collectibles for future generations.
Have the legacy founder write The Book of Life and pass it down through each generation, then revive them in the last generation.

Sims Au: The Primehood, Downtown Crystal City, The Optimal Estate| Optimus Prime/Elita One & Rodimus Prime

Welcome to the first home on our tour of the fabulous properties and homes of what's affectionately known as The Primehood! This prestigious district is said to have been home to the Original Thirteen Primes, and may even play host to their successors. Our first stop is at the lovely suburban cabin home of the infamous Optimus Prime, his lovely wife Elita One, and their college-aged son, Rodimus Prime! Starting at the street view we can see how welcoming the rustic charm is of this colonial style cabin with it's wrap-around porch and front-facing, second story deck. With plenty of old growth trees and lovely greenery this home is certainly a welcome sight to anyone looking for a safe place to kick-back.

We continue our tour by taking a closer look at the lovely wrap-around porch and it's cozy, rustic charm. With plenty of plants and places to just sit and admire the neighborhood, there are plenty of chances to grab a bit of sun or to simply welcome in the neighbors.

On the eastern side of the house we can see where Elita has made the space her own, filling it with places to garden, arrange flowers, and just sit to discuss the local goings-on with a friend while enjoying the outdoors.

Mirroring Elita's space is a spot Optimus can call his own with places to tinker, plan the local scout meetings, and carve either wood or jack o'lanterns for Halloween. This space is open, rustic and full of sincere purpose and a love for the outdoors.

Of course it's not a home fit for a prime if there's not space to grill and entertain. With a half-size basketball court, a built in grill area, and an in-ground pool there's plenty of activities to do here year-round. Particularly for a family who enjoys having people over and spending time outdoors.

We busted out the drone to get a better shot of the entire backyard, revealing the cozy jacuzzi space, the charming gardening area, and the outdoor court in all their glory. With a diving space and plenty of room to swim together the fun never stops here.

Entering from the back porch we come into the large, spacious, and charming kitchen that serves up plenty of block party meals with flare and classic rustic charm. The mix of stone and wood is a good grounding point for the blending of colors we can see in this space as Elita and Optimus' palettes blend and compliment one another.

From this angle we can see the breakfast bar and pantry space, allowing for plenty of storage as well as dining options for guests during large dinner parties. The large family table is also kept pristine with flowers that are rotated to match the seasons.

The dining room moves seamlessly into the entryway where two coat-cabinets frame the wide and welcoming front doors and allow for plenty of space for friends to gather without feeling crammed whether coming or going.

Moving across the entryway we enter the ground floor living room and here we can meet our hosts, clearly getting ready for a Christmas get together. Or at least, Optimus and Elita are. Rodimus appears to be finishing up a tv binge watching session. *ahem* Regardless, the space is charming, welcoming, and screams of cozy charm that's sure to cling to you like a warm hug.

The guest bathroom here on the ground floor features an antique bath and wooden shower stall which serve as a compliment to the wood sink and rustic decor.

From the guest bathroom we enter the gaming room, which I'm told used to be a sun room. The space certainly has plenty of natural light as well as plenty of fun storage for all of the family's games to enjoy with one another.

Heading downstairs first, into the basement we discover- Oh. Oh dear. Oh this is...clearly Rodimus' space isn't it? No. No I can tell. The uh, glowing bar sort of gives it away. Welp, abrupt departure in style aside the space does still exude a sort of welcoming air. Even if it fits a more, let's call it, college party spot style.

Coming around the corner we can see that not all of the rustic charm has been lost in our descent downstairs. Merely buried beneath the more youthful additions. Regardless it's quite clear that Elita and Optimus have cared about their son and his friends and provided them a safe space to have fun and relax (under some supportive supervision of course).

Heading down the hall we enter the door on the right and find the guest room. It might be small but the space has certainly ensured that plenty of wayward youths can crash safely without feeling claustrophobic.

down the hall from the guest room is the laundry room. This space also serves as storage and utility space as it's home to the houses large waterheater and has plenty of space to store party supplies and family heirlooms lovingly cherished but currently without a place.

Finally the basement tour comes to. Oh good lord. Rodimus' room. This boy clearly never outgrew his highschool phase. This is one hell of a disaster college boy's crash-pad.

He's really confident about making it as an influencer/gaming streamer isn't he? Well he's certainly, I'm not sure dedicated is the word but something close to that.

Moving into Rodimus' bathroom and, honestly I'm not sure what I expected but this space COULD have been worse. It's honestly pretty stylish with it's modern touches and open shower space.

The wallpaper pattern in the water closet is certainly. A choice. I wouldn't call it bad. Just... a choice was made.

And heading out of the bathroom we get a look at the corner jacuzzi tub where- is that a fried egg rug? Okay. That's it. We're going back upstairs to where the grown-ups live.

See this? This is tasteful! It's charming, it's rustic, it has class and a sense of history and care given to it. Lovely.

Heading to the left side of the hallway first we enter the master bedroom. This space has clearly been thoughtfully and lovingly put together to suit both Elita's elegant tastes and Optimus' more down-to-earth style. The mix has resulted in something that is truly charming and warm.

The master bath has plenty of space as well as storage and charm to suit either of the couple. With touches of pink and blue melding charmingly. There might not be a double-sink but you'd hardly need it when the bathroom feels this well put-together.

The water-closet features some bold wallpaper patterns but is still brought back down to earth by the antique style of the toilet and general accoutrements.

Moving across the hall we enter Optimus and Elita's office space which also serves as something of a romantic escape for them both to relax and reconnect at the end of a busy day. To the right you can see Elita's classic charm and softer color palette reallly come to life in her personalized work space.

And around the corner Optimus' workspace shows off his love for the traditional as well as his insatiable reading habit with plenty of storage space for his large book collection.

Finally we come to the upstairs balcony from which our power-couple can look out at the neighborhood and surrounding area in peace. With a cozy and charming coffee bar and space to sit and eat together outside the space reveals their love for each other as well as their love for nature and their fellow man.

But of course we end our tour here, in a spot ideal for the two of them to relax together and cuddle up while watching the sunset. We hope you've enjoyed this tour and will join us on our next adventure into The Primehood!

TOP 8 RV AND CAMPER DECOR IDEAS FOR 2025

Are you the owner of an RV in desperate need of a remodel? Maybe it’s been your family’s home on the road for years, or perhaps you just bought your first fixer-upper camper. Either way, renovations for even a small vehicle can quickly become expensive and time-consuming.
Luckily, there are many ways to rehab your home away from home without breaking your back or the bank. The right interior decor can breathe new life into a well-worn RV or camper and give tight spaces a contemporary feel and usefulness. We’ve pulled together eight fabulous, flexible decor options that will work in just about any recreational vehicle. Check these out!
Sheer Linen Curtains
Depending on the layout of your travel home, it might be tough to keep things bright without leaving the curtains to your windows open. A great compromise is some lightweight natural linen curtains. Here’s a great set we recommend! Even if you draw them, you’ll get a nice amount of natural light while still blocking out some of the heat.

Felt Curtains
Curtains can also be used to make any room in your RV or Camper feel a little cozier! They can also serve as a pop of color that will save you from having to repaint, like this lovely set here. Felt curtains are also quite durable and machine washable, making them perfect for life on the open road.

Some Colorful Throw Pillows
Want to spice up that window seat without having to reupholster? Some well-made throw pillows might be just the trick! They’ll add a great bit of flair to space and help make the room more comfortable, giving you something to place between your back and a wall. Check out these fun pop art linen throw pillow covers we found here.
A Cozy Cotton - Silk Throw Blanket
Just like throw pillows, a decorative but functional throw can make any sitting area in your RV or Camper that much more comfortable. A well-made silk-cotton blend, like this one here, is perfect for travel because it will give that ideal layer of warmth on a summer evening while not getting uncomfortably hot on a sunny day.

A Great Floor Pouf
Even if your travels involve a lot of time outdoors, the condensed layout of your home on wheels can pretty quickly lead to a bit of cabin fever. We love adding a pouf to your RV or Camper furniture because it turns just about anywhere into another space to unwind. It’s also great for pulling up another chair when you’ve got company over or stretching out and putting your feet up. You get a lot of new ways to relax with just one pouf!

Some Fabric Baskets for Storage
Plentiful storage is the key to keep your interior both useful and spacious. If your cabinets are getting a little full, or you just want some easier access to your most commonly used items, these stylish fabric baskets might be just the thing! You can also use one to replace that bulky, plastic laundry hamper you can never find a good place for.
The Perfect Piece of Wall Art
Painting and wall art are a staple in most people’s homes or apartments, yet this decor option often goes overlooked when restyling an RV or camper. Part of the issue may be finding some cute options that are small enough to be a comfortable fit. This ivory burlap flower art is only 12” x 12” and is available in a wide range of colors. The fabric design may also help it feel more cohesive in a small but cozy space.
Linen Placemats
Just because you’re on the road doesn’t mean you can’t set a lovely table for two! We love these linen placemats for a kitchen dinette because they’re easy to wash and keep clean, plus they’re understated enough to not feel out of place on a small table. Depending on the size of yours, you might even be able to use one as a mini table runner!
Wrapping Up
Starting with updated furniture and decor in your RV or camper is a great way to determine what remodels are truly necessary. It’s very easy to feel like an unsightly or uncomfortable spot needs to be completely ripped out and redone, but sometimes, they just need the right finishing touch. No matter what you decide, all of these options will stay stylish and useful for years of traveling.

National Corn on the Cob Day
Nothing says summer quite like a perfectly grilled (or boiled) corn on the cob, doused with butter, salt, pepper, or perhaps a more creative seasoning profile.
In the height of summer, under a cornflower blue sky filled with cotton-ball clouds, the smell of grilled meat fills the air. Children are laughing and playing in the creek, and the adults are setting up the picnic tables with checkered table cloths, red solo cups and paper plates.
In the middle of the table sits a giant bowl covered with a layer of aluminum foil, with steam gently escaping from around the edges, rich with the smell of fabulous, buttery corn on the cob.
Corn on the Cob Day celebrates events like these, whether held outdoors or indoors. It reminisces about the gathering of family around one of the sweetest healthy cookout treats that is available throughout the summer.
It’s Corn on the Cob Day!
History of Corn On The Cob Day
The history of Corn On The Cob Day goes back to a time even before European settlers actually first came to the Americas. Corn is a new world plant, native to the American lands, that was originally enjoyed by the Native Americans who were there before the westerners “discovered” the land.
Since then, corn has made various appearances in dishes all over the world, and the by-products of this plant have been used in quite literally millions of different products. For instance, in the United States, high fructose corn syrup is found in almost every candy, and certainly, in almost every carbonated beverage that can be found. Other corn products that are used en masse include oil, cereals, snacks, breads and even fuel.
Corn on the cob comes in more varieties than a person might think! Sure there’s the traditional yellow corn, but there are also white and mixed colored corn that can be eaten on the cob.
In any case, almost every type of corn can be prepared into corn on the cob through various methods of preparation, and each brings its own combination of tastes and flavors. There is no limit to the delicious meals and fantastic flavors when a little corn on the cob is added to the table.
Corn On The Cob Day is the opportunity to try different flavors, grab the butter, and enjoy delicious corn on the cob!
How To Celebrate Corn On The Cob Day
Celebrating Corn On The Cob Day is simple and fun! Try these ideas for celebrating or create new ideas:
Try Different Ways of Cooking Corn on the Cob
Start by cooking up some corn on the cob in the traditional way–boiling. It only takes a few minutes in the water (don’t salt it first!). Then enjoy eating it with a generous heap of butter and salt!
Now that opens the doorway to a whole variety of options to be considered. Another way to prepare the dish is to wrap corn on the cob in aluminum foil and let it roast in the coals of a campfire (or in the same way on a gas or charcoal barbecue grill) until it’s positively bursting with deliciousness.
Explore Seasoning Options
Anyone knows that corn on the cob needs butter and can be delicious just on its own. But don’t stop there because other options are worth a try as well! Start by adding butter as a base, and then dust the corn on the cob with a choice of seasonings. Simple salt can work just fine, or get more creative with seasoning salt, pepper, or any of a variety of spices that suit your palette.
Try these varieties:
Cajun Corn on the Cob. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper, paprika and oregano, then sprinkle lightly.
Corn on the Cob Citrus Seasoned Salt. Add sea salt, hot smoked paprika, black pepper, smoked salt, and finely grated orange zest, then rub on (while cooking on the grill, if preferred).
Italian Corn on the Cob. Go Italian by sprinkling buttered corn on the cob with parmesan cheese, powdered garlic and italian seasonings (basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme and marjoram).
Learn More About Corn
While it is in most people’s kitchens at one time or another, many people don’t know some of these fun facts about corn. For instance, although the most common corn color is yellow, it can also be cultivated to be purple, green, blue-gray, red, white and even black. Here are some other fun facts about corn:
The word ‘maiz’ or ‘maize’ has Native American/Spanish language origins and that is what this grain is called in many languages.
Most cobs of corn have an average of 800 kernels, arranged in 16 rows around the cob.
Corn is produced on all of the inhabited continents on the planet (but it cannot grow in Antarctica).
The United States is the largest single producer of corn on the planet, providing at least 40% of the world’s corn harvest.
Celebrate Corn on the Cob All Summer Long
While corn on the cob day comes at the beginning of June, anyone from the corn growing belt in the US knows that the best time to get fresh corn on the cob is at the end of the summer. The great news is that it isn’t necessary to choose between the two–just go ahead and celebrate at both times. In fact, corn on the cob can be celebrated all throughout the summer!

Fizzbin's Fabulous Cabin, part 3
(part 1) (part 2) (part 3) (part 4) (part 5)
Let's step into the mansion now for a tour of the first floor!
✨
Foyer
The spell Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion states: "Beyond the portal is a magnificent foyer with numerous chambers beyond." To me this meant I had to build a foyer, and a "magnificent" one. Probably something like a Lawyer Foyer with a mezzanine and huge curving staircases, but I just didn't have room for that, so this is what I ended up with. Obviously the stand-out feature is the Rising Loons crest designed by our very own @calsabatini!
I never really know how to furnish foyers, so there's some seating and a fireplace; the rest is all decor items and fancy carpet.
✨
Arboretum
Since we can't have an outdoor garden, I brought the nature inside!
I'd particularly like to point out the snowdrops in the planter there. While our party was exploring the Shadowfell, Fizzbin tried to cheer up an archdruid we were trying to rescue by giving him a sneak peek of the mansion in a dream. She asked him, what's your favorite flower? and he said... snowdrops. Which you can't just buy in The Sims 4. I had to cheat to spawn in a seed, plant it, cheat to make it fully grown, then fast forward time because it would only start to bloom at 5am, and then it started thunderstorming while I was fast forwarding and fixing the weather became a whole thing too. All because Duramash liked snowdrops instead of a flower I could just buy like roses or sunflowers!
✨
Dining Hall
From Magnificent Mansion's description: "It contains sufficient food to serve a nine course banquet for up to 100 people." That's WAY too many people to fit in here but at least we know we won't run out of snacks. This dining hall seats 12. It's still a little cramped, and I hope whoever sits in front of the fireplace won't be too uncomfortable!
Also I put way too much effort into selecting the rug that's almost entirely covered up by the big table.
✨
Kitchen
The kitchen is in the basement directly underneath the dining hall. I gave it an overhaul when I bought the Cottage Living DLC because the old-fashioned icebox fridge was perfect down here! I knew the kitchen and bathrooms would be where I'd struggle the most to keep this place from looking too modern.
Conjured ingredients and etherial staff probably can't make anything as good as Fizzbin's dad, but it's certainly a step up from Goodberries! That cauldron can serve up some big portions of soup. Snacks are scattered throughout the house too, as a treat.
✨
Next time, upstairs living spaces!

Printable Wall Art for Your Home
Hello, lovely art enthusiasts! I'm Tina, your friendly British art blogger, and today, we'll dive into the world of printable wall art. As a digital artist myself, I can't tell you how much it warms my heart to know that people from all corners of the globe enjoy and purchase my art. It truly motivates me to keep creating beautiful digital paintings.

A. Introduce the concept of printable wall art
Printable wall art is a modern, convenient, and affordable way to decorate your home with stunning designs. Instead of purchasing a physical print, you receive a high-quality digital file that you can print at home, at a local print shop, or through an online service like Etsy or Society6. This format allows for flexibility in size, material, and framing, making it an ideal solution for art lovers and collectors like us.

B. Explain the versatility and convenience of digital art prints
One of the many reasons I adore digital art prints is their versatility. You can print the same design in various sizes or materials, making it perfect for experimenting with different looks in your home. Plus, there's no need to wait for shipping; just download, print, and you're all set!
C. Describe the appeal of watercolor art in modern wall decor
Watercolor art has a unique charm that's perfect for modern wall decor. It's soft, delicate, and brimming with personality. The transparency and fluidity of watercolor paintings add depth and texture to your walls, creating a captivating focal point. The best part? You can find a vast array of watercolor printable wall art designs to suit your taste, from abstract and minimalist to botanical and coastal themes. So, let's explore some of these styles, shall we?

Exploring Different Styles of Watercolor Printable Wall Art
A. Abstract art and its unique charm
Abstract watercolor art has a way of sparking curiosity and igniting the imagination. The colors blend and dance together, creating unexpected shapes and patterns. It's a brilliant way to add a touch of mystery and artistic flair to your home. And, I must admit, there's something quite therapeutic about gazing at an abstract piece while sipping a cup of tea. Pro tip: Check out Coloristar for some stunning abstract watercolor designs.
B. Minimalist art for a clean, modern aesthetic
For those who crave simplicity, minimalist watercolor art is the way to go. These designs often feature a limited color palette, clean lines, and plenty of negative space. The result is an uncluttered, elegant look that complements a modern aesthetic. Minimalist watercolor art is like a breath of fresh air, and I can't help but feel a sense of calm when I see it on my walls.

C. Botanical prints for nature lovers
If you're anything like me, you can't resist the beauty of nature. Watercolor botanical prints capture the essence of flowers, leaves, and plants, bringing the outdoors into your home. The soft colors and delicate brushstrokes evoke a sense of serenity and wonder, perfect for creating a calming atmosphere. I highly recommend exploring the botanical collection at The Color of Love Club for some truly enchanting pieces.

How to Choose the Perfect Watercolor Printable Wall Art for Your Home
Finding the ideal watercolor printable wall art for your home can be a delightful, yet sometimes overwhelming, experience. Fret not, lovely art aficionados! I'm here to guide you through the process of selecting the perfect piece to complement your space and personal style.

A. Consider your existing home decor style
Before diving into the vast ocean of watercolor printable wall art, take a moment to assess your current home decor style. This will help you narrow down your options and ensure the artwork you choose will harmonize with your existing furnishings and color schemes.
Here are some popular decor styles to consider:
Modern: Clean lines, minimalism, and neutral colors
Traditional: Classic, timeless designs with rich colors and patterns
Bohemian: Eclectic, free-spirited, and full of texture
Farmhouse: Rustic, cozy, and charming with natural elements
Coastal: Light, airy, and beach-inspired
B. Keep in mind the size and layout of your space
One of the perks of printable wall art is the flexibility to print your chosen design in various sizes. However, it's essential to consider the size and layout of your space when selecting your watercolor print.
Here are some tips to help you choose the right size:
Measure your wall space: Determine the dimensions of the area you'd like to fill, keeping in mind any nearby furniture or architectural features.
Visualize the layout: Use painter's tape or paper cutouts to mock up the size and arrangement of your artwork on the wall. This will give you a better idea of how the final result will look.
Be mindful of proportions: Consider the scale of your room and the surrounding furniture. Avoid choosing a piece that's too large for a small space or too small for a large room.

C. Choose designs that resonate with your personal taste
At the end of the day, the most important factor when selecting watercolor printable wall art is choosing a design that speaks to your heart. Art is deeply personal and subjective, so trust your instincts and select pieces that evoke positive emotions and resonate with your unique taste.
Here are some questions to ask yourself when selecting your watercolor print:
Does this piece make me feel happy, inspired, or calm?
Do the colors and style complement my existing decor?
Can I envision this artwork on my wall, and will I enjoy looking at it every day?
Creative ways to arrange art posters on your walls
When it comes to displaying your watercolor printable wall art, the arrangement is just as important as the art itself. Experimenting with different layouts can dramatically change the look and feel of your space.
youtube
Here are some ideas for arranging your art prints:
Gallery wall: Mix and match different sizes, styles, and themes of art to create an eye-catching gallery wall. Start by laying out your prints on the floor to plan your arrangement before committing to hanging them.
Symmetrical grid: For a more orderly display, arrange your prints in a symmetrical grid pattern, with equal spacing between each piece.
Vertical or horizontal line: Showcase your art in a single vertical or horizontal line for a clean, modern look. This works particularly well in narrow spaces, such as hallways or above a bed or sofa.
C. Mixing and matching different styles and themes for a unique look
Don't be afraid to mix and match different styles, colors, and themes when displaying your watercolor printable wall art. Combining contrasting elements can create a visually stunning and one-of-a-kind look.
Here are some tips for mixing and matching your art:
Vary the sizes: Using a mix of small, medium, and large prints can add visual interest and depth to your arrangement.
Unify through color: Choose prints with a shared color palette to create a cohesive look, even if the styles and themes are different.
Combine different themes: Mixing different themes, such as nature-inspired designs and architectural prints, can create an eclectic and personalized display.

Very cool and unique 1972 house in Champion, PA has 6bds, 5ba, 5,098 sq ft, $1.595m. Look at this one:
It looks like you walk into the entrance hall and there's a pool room to the right. Or, it can be whatever kind of room the new owner likes.
This is nice, though. If you have company, there's no need for them to go upstairs. There's even a small fridge down here.
Plus, a nice big sauna.
Stairs to the main floor.
Large living room with outdoor access has a fabulous fireplace- look at the masonry.
The dining area has doors to the deck, plus a view of the mezzanine above.
Beautiful updated kitchen with original cabinetry.
It looks like the counters and backsplash were replaced, and look at the great exhaust hood.
Double freezers and a wine fridge in the pantry.
Large main floor guest suite.
The other bedrooms are up the stairs across the mezzanine.
The primary bedroom has a private terrace.
Plus, a walk-in closet and ensuite.
Look at this. An indoor balcony over the living room.
This bedroom on the uppermost floor has built-in bunks.
Plus a view from another mezzanine to the kitchen.
It looks like there's another dormitory style room across the hall.
Lots of cool balconies and mezzanines in this house.
I was confused at first, but this is another bunk room.
Patio off the living room.
This is a nice private patio, but I don't think I'd keep a carpet here.
2.40 acre lot

Elevate Your Space with a Designer Stool: Where Style Meets Functionality

When it comes to home décor, it’s often the smallest details that make the biggest impact. Enter the designer stool — a piece that effortlessly blends practicality with style. Whether you’re revamping your kitchen, sprucing up your living room, or adding a touch of luxury to your bedroom, a stylish stool can completely transform the look and feel of your space. It’s more than just a seat — it’s a statement.
Why Stools Are the Unsung Heroes of Interior Design
Stools have long flown under the radar in the world of interior design. Traditionally associated with bars and kitchen counters, they were once considered purely functional. But not anymore. The modern designer stool is a beautiful blend of art and utility. Sleek, stylish, and versatile, stools are now key players in creating spaces that are both comfortable and chic.
In today’s homes, stools can be used in almost any room. Need a compact seat for a small apartment? A stool has your back. Looking for a unique side table? Try stacking a few stylish stools for a creative twist. Want to add a pop of personality to a minimalist room? A colorful designer stool can do the trick.
Style for Every Taste
One of the best things about designer stools is their sheer variety. Whether your aesthetic leans toward Scandinavian simplicity, industrial edge, boho charm, or mid-century modern, there’s a stool out there for you.
Minimalist Lovers: Clean lines, neutral tones, and simple silhouettes are your go-to. Look for wooden stools with natural finishes or matte metal frames.
Bold & Artistic: If you love making a statement, opt for stools with vibrant colors, sculptural shapes, or unexpected materials like acrylic or terrazzo.
Vintage Vibes: Retro lovers can find designer stools that bring back the charm of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s with rich hues, velvet upholstery, and brass accents.
Rustic Charm: For that cozy farmhouse feel, think reclaimed wood, distressed finishes, and sturdy craftsmanship.
No matter your personal style, a well-chosen stool can become the pièce de résistance of any room.
Perfect for Small Spaces
If you’re working with a compact area, stools are a lifesaver. Unlike bulkier chairs or sofas, stools take up minimal space and can be easily tucked away when not in use. A stylish stool can serve as an extra seat, a plant stand, or even a bedside table in a pinch. And when guests arrive? Just pull them out for instant seating.
Some stools even come with hidden storage, making them an even smarter choice for apartment living or multipurpose rooms.
Functional, Yet Fabulous
Functionality doesn’t have to be boring. Designer stools prove that everyday items can be just as eye-catching as they are useful. Many brands now offer stools that combine ergonomic comfort with luxurious materials — think plush velvet seats, sleek metal bases, and hand-carved wooden details.
Need adjustable height? Swivel functionality? Cushioned tops? You got it. Today’s stylish stools are designed with both aesthetics and convenience in mind, ensuring you never have to compromise.
A Trend That’s Here to Stay
The rise of open-plan living and multipurpose spaces has only boosted the popularity of designer stools. In kitchens, they line up beautifully along breakfast bars or islands. In living rooms, they serve as chic footrests or impromptu coffee tables. Even in bathrooms, a small wooden stool can add spa-like elegance and serve as a handy perch for towels or bath products.
And let’s not forget outdoor spaces. Weather-resistant designer stools are a perfect match for patios, balconies, and garden areas, creating cozy nooks for entertaining or unwinding with a good book.
How to Choose the Right Designer Stool
Feeling inspired to add one (or a few) stylish stools to your space? Here are a few quick tips:
Consider Height: Match the stool height to its purpose — bar stools for higher counters, counter stools for kitchen islands, and low stools for casual seating.
Think About Materials: Wood, metal, plastic, or upholstered — each material has its own vibe and durability. Choose one that suits both your aesthetic and lifestyle.
Prioritize Comfort: If you plan to sit on your stool often, go for cushioned tops or ergonomic shapes.
Make It Match (or Not): You can match your stool to the rest of your furniture, or intentionally go for contrast to create a focal point.
Versatility is Key: Pick a stool that can adapt to multiple roles — extra seating, side table, plant stand, and more.
Final Thoughts
A designer stool might seem like a small piece of furniture, but don’t underestimate its power to elevate your home. Stylish, versatile, and space-saving, stools are the secret weapon of smart interior design. Whether you want to make a bold statement or simply add a touch of elegance, the right stool can tie your whole room together.
So go ahead, explore the world of stylish stools — your space deserves a little lift.

a lepacy challenge focuses each generation on an expension pack. it is useful so you can explore game features that you either have never played with or didn't even know existed.
i believe the original creator for the sims 3 is simpishly. i wanted to give it a try because the sims 4 comes out with new packs all the time and i was feeling overwhelmed. it's like i was still stuck in 2016, when i really started playing the game for good.
i took inspiration and rules from the following creators: Sims 4 LEPacy by anneliesembsims / Sims 4 LEPacy by simpishly /Sims 4 LEPacy Challenge by simsply-challenges / Sims 4 Lepacy Challenge by mojomeleven.
these rules are not my own! but i picked and chose which i felt worked for me and my current gameplay style. i'm publishing the first 10 generations here for myself and others that might also want to give it a try. i would love to see more lepacies in the sims 4 community, but i understand that sometimes the game feels incomplete without all the packs lol.
there are a lot of packs for this game so this challenge is way longer than 10 generations, but i personally like to pick the rules when i'm close to the next gen so i don't have all of them written here. for more rules, see the creators above!
starter notes:
- i disable all my packs and i add the next one once the heir is a teenager so i can start working on the next generation - i kept all the kits because they are glorified cc packs - lifespan is on normal but edited & aging is usually on, but i pause at times because the main goal is for me to enjoy playing the game - traits are mostly randomized as i didn’t care to list traits in my rules - i don't have a storyline! i'm a gameplay player so i pretty much just like to have rules and let the game take me whenever - some stuff packs are missing/out of order because they fit a better generation later! - i have a compilation of useful mods for a lepacy challenge here, separated by generation - here's a doc with the rules and a handy checklist!

Angie Homes suggests experimenting with dimmable lighting to set the tone throughout the day.

Mix materials like velvet, jute, and marble to create contrast and dimension.
5. Bring the Outdoors In
Nature-inspired interiors are still going strong in 2025. Incorporate plants, wooden accents, botanical prints, and earthy textures to connect your home with the calming energy of the outdoors.
6. Go Big with Wallpapers and Accent Walls

Traditional room divisions are out. Angie Homes suggests creating “zones” within open-plan layouts—reading nooks, cozy coffee corners, or mini libraries—to give purpose and personality to each area.
12. Curved Furniture for Softness
Harsh edges are giving way to rounded sofas, circular coffee tables, and organic-shaped decor. Angie Homes recommends these pieces for their inviting, fluid aesthetic.

Small Space Optimization: Innovative Laneway House Designs for Vancouver Homes
Residents can get the most out of every square meter with cutting-edge designs. Expert laneway house builders in Vancouver specialize in space-saving features and stylish layouts.

Smart Layouts for Maximum Efficiency A laneway house starts with a well-conceived layout. Open-plan living areas make the house seem more spacious. Cutting out unnecessary walls allows sunlight to flow through the house. Storage built into cabinetry, such as under-stair shelves or wall cabinets, keeps clutter from accumulating. Fold-down furniture, such as Murphy beds or pop-up tables, provides flexibility. These innovative options make the home appear larger and more comfortable.
Multi-Functional Spaces Every part of a laneway house has to be multifunctional. A kitchen island can double as a dining table. A sofa can be paired with a hidden storage space below. A small office nook can be integrated into the living room. Good planning makes every space functional without being messy. Laneway house builders in Vancouver strive to make spaces functional and stylish.
Innovative Storage Solutions Storage is also one of the most significant issues with tiny homes. Vertical storage optimizes space. Loft beds, tall cabinets, and high shelves use the wall height. Built-in wardrobes save floor space, and rooms are tidy. Furniture that stores keeps things in order. Basic but utilitarian ideas keep everything in its place.
Natural Light and Airflow Light-filled rooms are spacious and welcoming—large windows, skylights, and glass doors open to natural light. Mirrors reflect light and provide an open atmosphere to rooms. Walls painted in pale colors and plain furniture add to the airy ambiance. Good airflow is also crucial in a small home. Open-plan layouts and sliding doors assist in airflow. Laneway house builders in Vancouver design spacious homes despite their small sizes. Outdoor Extensions Outdoor space adds extra living space to a laneway house. A balcony, rooftop deck, or patio is a big statement. They can be used as dining areas, relaxation spaces, or gardens.
Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Features Solar panels, low-E windows, and insulation turn a house into an eco-friendly dwelling. The use of recycled products and sustainable wood helps green design. Laneway house builders in Vancouver incorporate these features to create green homes.
Sophisticated Interiors with Minimal Mess A small space needs to be cozy, not cramped. A simple, modern aesthetic with soft tones creates a calm atmosphere. Versatile pieces with clean lines continue the space's aesthetic and utility. Choosing bold pieces in number rather than excessively accessorizing sustains a clean look. Well-considered design choices yield a warm, welcoming living room.
Unique Touches to Create a One-of-a-Kind Look Every homeowner is an individual with their requirements and tastes. Custom design elements enable the laneway house to be personalized. Some may prefer a loft bedroom, and others need a home office.
Creating a Functional and Aesthetic Laneway Home Creativity and thoughtful planning are required to develop a laneway house. Proper design can make a small space a fabulous and functional home. With open-plan spaces, multifunctional rooms, and creative storage systems, occupants can enjoy a cozy living space. Developing a well-designed and functional laneway home through the services of experienced laneway house builders in Vancouver is simple.
