If.' eye contact over lucanis' shoulder sometimes, with the utter grave calm that only someone who's a speaker to the dead (and the dead are savage) and who has killed several gods and wouldn't back down from second deicide if necessary could bring to bear. she sucks and deserves this and more but she also does have a whole Situation on her hands here

(I love that rye's relationship to lucanis' family is basically 'I met some of the most insufferable people. but, they also met me'. he tangoed with the god of lies and betrayal so he could waltz his way through a dellamorte family dinner relatively unscathed)

im saying this as someone who likes a lot of “obscure” things and is prone to have certain complexes about it but some of the people on here confuse me. The second something becomes popular you stop liking it, you think it’s cringe, you get mad that other people like it etc. and im like ok did you actually like the thing in the first place or did you just like it because it was not well known so you could wear a weird badge of honor bc you knew about it.

Like i do understand getting frustrated when something becomes popular and people start reducing it down to tropes and mischaracterizing your favorite characters because that’s just the inevitable end of such a large quantity of people liking something, but really some of you have nasty attitudes about your precious media being sullied by the general public. like chill idk.
