One of my favourite tropes in fics is peter reluctant to tell erik he’s his son because he fear erik will be disappointed in him- only for when its revealed erik is so so proud AND/OR mad at himself for not realizing sooner

stop facilitating the erik doesn’t like/is disappointed in pietro/peter fallacy!! erik would be SO proud of him have u SEEN what he’s done bro broke into the PENTAGON that would be like. my minimum requirements in a child besides functional. at MOST he’d have that air of long suffering abt him when someone asks ‘is that one urs’ and it pans over to peter stuffing a third twinkie into his mouth longways. like it’s more of that loving exasperation energy
