More Than You Say (Spencer Reid x Fem!BAU!Reader)
——————
Author Masterlist
Part 1: More Than You Know
Part 3: More Than You Expect (the end)
——————
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Fem!BAU!Reader.
Summary: Spencer mulls over what you said and your love confession during your last fight. And he knows how deeply he fucked up this time. After admitting he is in love with you, Spencer wants to fix things. Are you willing to let him?
Word Count: 5.6k
TW: ANGST. Strong language. Mention of abduction, drug use, getting shot, death of relatives and loved ones, jail, and unsafe sex. If I forgot anything, let me know.
A/N: This is the aftermath of 'More Than You Know' from Spencer's POV. I'm not going to lie. This one ends worse than the previous one. The good news is that there is a third chance, meaning a third part. Maybe they will have luck in that one.
——————
Spencer doesn't know how long he has stood there, looking at the door you shut when you left. His first thought was to run after you, but he refrained.
What could he have said to you?
Sitting in the chair that you left vacant, he takes a deep breath. The room feels suffocating to him.
Your words keep reverberating in his brain, and Spencer wants to feel utterly surprised, but it would be a lie. Not that he precisely knew what was going on; it was more like he sensed something was off, and he ignored it.
Like a royal asshole.
The hurt in your eyes is something he knows he will never forget. Those kind eyes that were always welcoming and understanding, this time, only reflected betrayal and pain.
Spencer hates his mouth and the way his words can do so much harm.
Rewinding the past months in his brain, Spencer tries to figure out how you both ended like this.
You never told him how you felt, and Spencer is sure about it. He would have done something if you did.
He is so caught up in his thoughts that he doesn't notice Emily walking into the room.
"She told you, didn't she? You must have hella pissed her off," Emily muses. And Spencer can't help but return a confused look.
"Wait. You knew?"
Emily let out a frustrated sigh, sitting in front of Spencer.
"Sometimes I wonder why that amount of IQ doesn't pay off," she wonders. Seeing the man still clueless, she continues talking. "Spencer, possibly the only one who didn't know at this point was you."
Great. Everyone knew but him. Spencer wants to dig a hole and disappear right now.
"Why she didn't tell me?"
The question is more to himself than Emily. She answers nonetheless.
"I'm not sure if she ever wanted you to know. If you hadn't pushed her the way you did, she would never have told you, I guess."
Spencer takes in Emily's words and starts questioning everything about you and him in the past months.
"I assumed so many things lately, and now I'm unsure if they are true or part of my imagination," he says, frustrated, raking his hands through his hair.
"You have the answers, Spencer. Even if you think you don't."
Spencer scoffs at that. He doesn't fucking know anything. That's the problem. He needs to fix something but doesn't know what it is.
"I need to talk to her," he decides, standing and walking to the door. Before he could cross the threshold, Emily calls his name.
"Reid, wait."
Spencer turns to see Emily. She has a stern look.
"Don't talk to her unless you know what you want to say."
Spencer's eyes narrow. He can't conceive of not talking to you right now. He wants to run to your place right away.
"What? But Emily, I need to know-"
Spencer argues, but Emily doesn't let him finish.
"You'll figure it out. Just don't rush it. She has been through a lot. At least you owe her that. Think about what she told you first."
Spencer doesn't know what to do—the compulsion to run after you clouds his senses, but Emily has a point. He doesn't know what to say. Yeah, he is sorry for what he said to you and how he treated you, but an 'I'm sorry' won't fix it.
Besides, until that day, Spencer thought you both were only friends, and you were okay with it. He only pegged all your apprehensions and the words of concern like a friend's worry.
It seems he did a great job ignoring what it was in front of his eyes.
You said you loved him. And Spencer has no reason to doubt your words, even if he told you he does.
Spencer leaves the conference room defeated and with a weight over his shoulders he hasn't felt in a long time.
As he passes your desk, he sees it empty, and his stomach clenches. It's like being in a parallel world where you are not next to him, and just imagining it disturbs him.
The rest of the team watches as Spencer wanders around the BAU like a lost puppy, wondering if this will make him really reflect on how he's been leading his life lately. They know the bond between you and Spencer is important to both of you, but they've also seen how it has deteriorated over time.
That night, as he steps into his apartment after work, he only wants to grab the phone and call you. But Emily's words start replaying again.
'You'll figure it out. At least you owe her that.'
Spencer opts to sit on the couch with the lights off and his head back.
He needs to fix this.
When he closes his eyes, his mind wanders to the day he met you.
-
He was a scared kid, a freshman FBI agent recruited by Jason Gideon. He put a foot in the bullpen that day, and Hotch was the first to greet him. His stern look was different from Gideon's and more intimidating for sure. He led Spencer to the conference room, where you were perched in a corner with a mug of coffee in your hands.
'This is SSA (Y/N) (Y/L/N). It's her first day, too. Agent (Y/L/N), he is SSA Dr. Spencer Reid; he is joining the team as well.'
You glanced at him and rapidly stood from your spot, stretching your hand to him. He should have shaken it, but his germaphobe self kicked off.
'The number of pathogens passed during a handshake is staggering. It's actually safer to kiss.'
After the words left his mouth, he wanted to be buried alive. You retracted your hand with an amused smile.
'I didn't know. But I guess we should skip the kiss part for now,' you said, and Spencer's cheeks burned in embarrassment. Seeing him all flustered, you quickly added. 'But It's good to know new things. I think I'll learn a lot from you, Dr. Reid.'
This time, Spencer's cheeks burned from more than embarrassment.
It might sound cliché to say that for the first time in his life, Spencer felt so comfortable with someone. You quickly became his best friend and unmatched support. People wondered why. To outsider's eyes, you both looked so different. You were more confident than him, with an extraordinary ability to listen and say the right words at the right time. You were one of the few people who wasn't intimidated by either Hotch or Gideon, a thing he could not say about himself.
And, by far, you have been the only person there for him when Spencer has needed it the most.
He remembers having the vial in his hand. He stared at the item for a while, deciding whether to use it. It has been weeks since Hankel kidnapped him, and he stole the Dilaudid from his dead body.
He was feeling trapped and hopeless. Spencer thought he could handle it, but every day, it seemed worse than the previous one.
His feet carried him to your door that night. He knocked but didn't know why. Maybe he hoped to find some strength he didn't have.
You opened the door and glanced at him, confused. He wasn't okay, and he didn't look alright, either.
'Spencer? What are you doing here?' you asked, your voice laced with worry.
'I'm sorry I didn't call before coming.'
He didn't know how he managed to get words out of his mouth. Spencer was to a second to crumble.
'It's okay. What happened? Are you hurt?' Your eyes scanned his body for a sign of what was going on.
'I don't - I can't (Y/N). I can't do this. I need help.'
Spencer broke, sobbing at your door. You rushed to hug him; you didn't even care that you were in the middle of the hallway.
That night, Spencer confessed his sins, and he found nothing but understanding and support in you. He didn't know he deserved either of these things until he met you.
As you both got closer, he learned everything about you. In the same way that he confided his life to you, you did the same to him. And Spencer never hesitated when you needed him.
You called him sobbing that night. Your dad was suddenly admitted into the hospital due to an illness he hadn't told anyone before. You were his only close family member. Your mom left the country when your parents divorced a decade ago, and your two older siblings lived in other towns.
'Hey, I came the faster I could. What happened?' Spencer rushed into the hospital waiting room where you were. You darted your glassy eyes at him, with lips quivering.
'He isn't okay, Spencer. The doctor says he- oh God - he will not make it,' you broke, with a sob raking through you.
Spencer engulfed you in a tight embrace. You cried with your head on his chest. He would have given everything to rip off your pain and carry it himself.
You both stayed in the hospital that night. You at least could see your dad for a moment to say goodbye. At dawn the next day, he passed away.
Spencer remained with you through your grieving process and swore to be by your side and protect you for the rest of his life, no matter what.
And like that, life kept testing your bond with Spencer—failed relationships, elusive psychopaths, work injuries, friends gone, faked deaths, and so on. The BAU changed, but you both remained.
Sometimes, Spencer wondered if destiny was a real thing. Maybe with you, it was—his best friend.
He was truly happy having you in his life, but why sometimes did it feel like something was missing?
Spencer questioned his feelings about you for a long time. Was it something more than a platonic sentiment? Why was his heart filled with joy every time he saw your smile or heard your laugh? And it plugged with gloom when you were sad?
With time, Spencer was convinced he loved you but kept his mouth shut. He told himself he was over-reading the signs. And Spencer blamed his early lack of affection and inexperience in the heart's department. You undoubtedly didn't feel the way he did, and he was creating a whole imaginary world that would crush the moment the bubble popped.
People around weren't helping either. After telling Morgan how he felt about you, he kept telling Spencer that he needed to make a move.
JJ, for her part, let out her insinuations about how he should do something and the high probability of his feelings being reciprocated.
But Spencer wasn't sure, and the risk of losing you for overstepping your bond terrified him, so he said nothing.
And things could have stayed that way, but a light of hope for him opened time after.
Morgan and Hotch had left the BAU, and the team was focused on trying to catch Scratch. At the same time, Spencer was dealing with his mom's illness and her recently diagnosed Alzheimer's. As always, you were there for him.
"Are you sure you don't want me to go with you to Houston?" you asked him, sitting on his couch one night.
"No. It's okay. It will be only two days," Spencer assured you. He felt terrible for lying to you. He never did that before, but he knew you would talk some sense to him about what he was doing on his trips to Mexico.
"Will you call me if you need anything?" you insisted, and Spencer could only think how much he wanted to hug and kiss you. But he won't do that. He can't do that without telling you he loves you. Not without risking losing you due to a stupid love confession.
Spencer was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice his lack of response to your question.
"Spencer? Are you okay?"
With still a semi-hazed brain, his hands reached yours, and his eyes locked with yours. A frown of worry appeared on your face.
"Have I ever told you how grateful I am for having you in my life?"
A blush crept from your neck to your cheeks. It wasn't the first time Spencer had told you something like that, but how he looked at you that night, with that intensity, was making you weak on the knees.
"Yeah. A couple of times, if I recall correctly," you replied, trying to sound casual, but inside, you were aflame with his gaze.
"I think I should say it more. And to show it like it really is," Spencer mumbled, and you were confused. What was he trying to say?
"You mean like buying me more coffees and bagels?" you joked. You always did that when you were nervous, and Spencer knew it.
In a bold move and without letting your hands go, he scooted closer to you on the couch.
It was now or never. Spencer knew then this was his chance, and if he didn't take it, he would never do it again.
"Can - can I tell you something?" he asked, flicking his gaze between your eyes and your lips back and forth.
You noticed the gesture and were about to combust. Why was Spencer looking at your lips like that?
"Yes." Your voice above a whisper, fearing it could falter if you spoke louder.
"I want to kiss you so bad right now," he whispered back, so close you could feel his breath fanning your face. Your lips parted to say something, but no words came from them. Instead, you were the one who closed the gap between you both and kissed him.
Spencer kissed you back immediately with such urgency that you could feel the longing and desperation on his lips.
Deepening the kiss, neither you nor he wanted to stop. Fearing if you did, the moment would vanish, and you would wake up from this beautiful dream.
Maybe this was the chance you both needed to confess your feelings for each other. But fate could be cruel more than once.
In the middle of that years-making kiss, your phone rang suddenly. The infamous sound made you both jump back and return to reality.
Still dazed, you fished the device from your pocket. Emily was calling. You didn't know what to do. Should you answer your phone and cut the moment? Or ignore it and grasp Spencer's lapels to kiss him again?
Your bewildered look made Spencer decide for you.
"You should take that. Could be important," he said, voice laced with doom. He knew what was coming. You wanted to argue, but maybe he was right. Reluctantly, you slid your finger on the green bottom.
"Emily?"
The team had a new case, and it was urgent. You needed to be on the tarmac in twenty minutes.
"Can we - can we talk about this later?"
You were unsure where you were standing. Sure, you felt the electricity of that kiss; you didn't imagine it. But maybe it wasn't like you were thinking. Perhaps it was just the heat of the moment. A lot of things were happening, and you both were vulnerable.
On his part, Spencer saw this as a sign. This wasn't the time or the place. He didn't feel prepared to face his true feelings at the moment.
"Sure. Uh, but now you should go; they are waiting."
The bad thing is you never talked about that again. You went with the team to Connecticut while Spencer left the following day, not to Houston like he said to you. He went to Mexico.
The next time you saw each other was with Spencer in a cell in Matamoros.
There are a lot of things Spencer regrets about that infamous trip. One of them is to lose his chance to know if he could have built something more with you. How could Spencer imagine having a relationship with you now? After he lied to you? After falling in disgrace like this? You deserved more than a broken man, incarcerated and lost. Spencer didn't want to drag you with him and his misery. He couldn't stand the idea of breaking your heart for a failed relationship, but he didn't want to lose you either. The reasonable middle ground for Spencer was keeping you like his friend, as it has been until now.
After Spencer was released from prison, neither you nor him spoke of that night. He presumed you regretted kissing him, and he was afraid to say what it meant to him.
Everything got lost after his release. Spencer became reckless and superficial. He was a different guy. But everyone dispensed him due to the traumatic events he endured. You did it, too. You had stayed and committed yourself to him in the role you knew so well: as his best friend.
And that's what Spencer saw since then: you by his side, supporting him like the good friend you were. And he thought it was okay. You were alright, and he should have to live with the idea of not knowing what it could be to love you openly.
That's how Spencer immersed himself in a shallow and meaningless life, failing his true self and becoming a person he despised but who shielded him in his vulnerability.
-
The cell phone ringtone brings Spencer back from his thoughts. He quickly pulls it out of his pants pocket, secretly hoping it's you. It's a long shot, but he wants it so badly to be real. A short-lived wish because the caller ID shows it's Gabrielle, his late conquest.
Spencer lets out a heavy sigh, and your words come back to him.
'No! It's everything! Can't you see it? It's the way you lie to your teammates and the way you do your job like it doesn't matter to you. The way you turn everything into something meaningless. The relationships you have, your job, your friends. Everything!'
Spencer feels his body stiffen. It's like he's looking at himself from the outside, and what he sees terrifies him.
That's what you've seen in him, and he understands why you've walked away from him like that. The person he has become is to blame for your pain, and Spencer feels sick. He, who swore years ago to protect you from all harm, is the one who caused this.
'Do you really believe that? Do you really believe your self-destructive behavior only affects you? I didn't think you were so selfish, Spencer.'
Selfish. It's what he's been all along. And you had to be the one to throw it in his face to realize his mistakes.
Spencer doesn't have the energy or courage to answer the phone. He knows why Gabrielle is calling, and what 24 hours ago would have been a tempting offer now feels futile and pointless.
It's meaningless because the only truly significant relationship he has wanted all along is with you, nobody else.
And possibly you are in your apartment thinking Spencer is an asshole, believing he doesn't value you, that he doesn't care about you, that he doesn't love you. And while the asshole part it's true, he does care about you, and he does love you.
It may be too overdue, but it's time for you to know, he thinks.
With a resolution Spencer didn't know he had, he stands from his couch to grab his coat and keys. He is going to reveal his secret tonight. He is going to admit his underlying love to you and stop his charade.
During the car ride, he is having a pep talk with himself, trying not to lose the bravery that made him leave the apartment.
You have to know. He has to clear things up and get you back.
Spencer keeps repeating the words until he's at your door, calling with two solid knocks.
After some rustling from inside, the door opens, revealing your unhappy face. Spencer knows he deserves all the bitterness and pettiness you have and will throw at him, and he's going to take it all.
"You didn't check the clock before coming here, did you?" is the first thing coming from your mouth.
Spencer takes in your appearance. You're in your pajamas already, but the bags under your eyes tell him you weren't sleeping, and possibly you have been tossing and turning for hours now.
"I'm sorry. I know it's late, but we need to talk."
The roll in your eyes doesn't go unnoticed by him; it's like you weren't surprised by him standing at your door at 2 am.
"Spencer, if you want to talk about what happened this afternoon, I don't think-"
"Please? I know I behaved like an idiot today, but please let me explain," Spencer insists, and he really hopes you don't close the door in his face.
You contemplate your response for a second. Spencer knows you know he won't leave without talking to you, so you open the door just enough and signal him to come inside.
Spencer comes in and waits for you to close the door. The resolve with which he came is fading as his brain tries to organize his ideas and all the things he wants to say.
You gesture towards the couch, and he takes a seat. You too, but in a chair next to it.
Where to start? Spencer thinks about just blurting out everything and spilling his heart in front of you. But you are the one who starts talking.
"Why are you here?"
Spencer clears his throat. "I - I want to apologize for what I said. I hurt you, and I didn't mean to do that. I really didn't mean to do that."
"But you did," you say flatly, and he nods.
"I know. And I'm sorry. I let you down, and I feel horrible misreading the whole thing. I should have noticed."
Spencer barely blinks, trying to gauge your expression. You're difficult to read right now, and he hates it. You guys always were so good at reading each other, and he lost that ability, too.
"If you are talking about-" You seem ready to say something to not address the subject, so Spencer only blurts his question.
"Is it true? Do you love me?"
You sigh, shaking your head.
"Spencer-" You start, but Spencer doesn't budge. He needs to know and to hear it from you.
"Please, tell me," he pleads, and you let out a bitter chuckle.
"Why? It doesn't matter. It won't change where we stand right now," you convey with some treacherous tears fighting to fall. You avert his gaze.
Spencer stands and kneels in front of you.
"Please, look at me."
His index tilts up your chin so he can see your eyes. You surprisingly let him do that. "I need to know if you feel the same way I do about you," he whispers, his eyes fixated on yours. You furrow your eyebrows.
"What are you talking about?" One of his hands tenderly poses on your cheek to dry some of the tears falling.
"What I'm trying to say is that I love you. I have always loved you."
God, it feels so good to say it finally.
"W - What?" You look perplexed, and Spencer knows this is the opportunity he has to come clean with you.
"I know I didn't tell you sooner. It's long overdue, and even if I have my reasons, they don't excuse how I have treated you in the past months. But I promise things will change. I won't hide this anymore. Please, give me a chance to love you."
You seem overwhelmed with the information, so much so that you stand and start to pace in your living room. Spencer gets up as well and follows you with his eyes.
"Spencer, how- I - I don't understand. Why are you telling me this?"
"Because it's true. You are the one for me. I love you (Y/N)."
It seems now that he's said it once, Spencer spares no effort in repeating he loves you over and over again.
You stop pacing to look at him, an accusatory look in your eyes.
"Why now?"
Spencer understands your apprehensions. Of course, after everything that had taken place in the last hours, he comes to your door proclaiming his love. Logically, you are confused and don't expect it.
"Do you remember the night we kissed? The night before I went to Mexico?" He asks, and your gaze softens at the mention of that night.
"I do. But I thought you forgot," you say, casting your eyes down.
"How could I?! I wanted to do that for a long time. I couldn't believe we were finally kissing. It was like a dream come true for me," he recognizes, shorting the distance between you both and tentatively cupping your cheeks. You let him.
"But - but after the call, you - you told me-" you stutter, recalling the details of what occurred there.
"I know. I chickened out. After Emily's call, I thought it was a sign and not the right moment, so I backed off. There is no single day I don't regret doing that." Spencer's eyes glasses over, thinking about how foolish and blind he has been all this time.
"Why you didn't tell me?" you murmur, almost in a whisper.
"Because I'm stupid. Because I thought I was protecting you. I was in jail (Y/N); what could I have offered you?"
You huff and shake your head, putting distance between you both. Spencer's arms fall to his sides.
"And after that?"
Spencer knows you're talking about the time after he was released from Milburn. He gives you an apologetic look before answering.
"I thought I was doing the same. That having you as a friend was better than not having you at all," he concedes. Maybe it's the hardest part for him to admit because, when that happened, everything started to crumble between you both.
"So that was the friendship bullshit," you sneer. Spencer nods.
"Yeah. And I'll always be sorry for doing that to you. But I promise you, if you let me, things will change."
You go silent, mulling over his words, and it's like your defenses start to turn down. You look at Spencer with a mix of emotions he can't still crack. Maybe his words are void for you right now. That's why Spencer thinks showing you what he means is better than keep talking.
He slowly approaches you without breaking eye contact. With one of his hands, Spencer tilts up your chin while he leans down. He can hear the air hitching in your throat. His heart beats faster and faster as he gets closer and closer.
You do not move a muscle, nor do you reject his touch.
When his lips make contact with yours, you both let out a sigh you were holding. Your lips begin to move in sync. Spencer is kissing you, you're kissing him back, and there is no phone ringing.
Spencer gives you everything he has, trying to express he is yours and no one else's. You are both lost in a kiss that seems increasingly urgent and desperate.
But suddenly, you push him away. It's as if a jolt of electricity has struck you, shoving you away from him.
"Please, don't. Don't -" you mewl in a broken voice. Still dazed, Spencer looks at you, baffled.
"W - What's wrong?"
"I - I can't," you mumble, running your hands through your hair and shaking your head.
"Why not?" Spencer asks, and when you keep shaking your head and saying nothing, he starts to panic. "(Y/N), please. Talk to me."
"Spencer, I'm sorry. I can't do this," you repeat—this time with a steadier voice. "This isn't going to work."
Isn't it going to work? Spencer doesn't understand why you are saying that when you both just have admitted the truth.
"But I thought you loved me?"
Spencer's voice is small, frightened. It's as if, in five seconds, he went from the top of a mountain to a free fall into the void.
You look at him for a second, and it's like a realization hits you.
"So that's the reason? You are here and saying all these things because I told you I loved you?"
The accusing, defensive tone returns to you. And Spencer doesn't know what to do.
"No! I mean, yes! I thought a lot about what you told me. And I realized my feelings for you have always been there. That's why I'm here," he defends.
You insistently rub your eyes with your palms like someone who desperately wants to wake up from a dream.
"I'm sorry, but I can't believe you."
Spencer's eyes widen. You've closed yourself completely and thrown the key out the window.
"But it's true! I can prove it. I can be a better man for you if you give me a chance. Please." Spencer is begging, tears rolling down his face, but he doesn't care. He will do anything to get you back at this point.
"Spencer. Listen to me. Things don't work like that, okay? You hurt me, and I'm not talking about my romantic feelings for you. You questioned my loyalty as your friend. Do you know how that made me feel?"
"I'm sorry-" he tries to explain, but you cut him off.
"It's true what I told you earlier. I chose our friendship above acting on my love for you. And it seems I did it in vain."
Spencer shakes his head. "No, no, no. Don't say that. I know I did wrong, but I can make it up to you."
Can he really?
"Spencer, you need to make it up, but to you, not to me." Spencer's head snaps up.
"What - what are you talking about?"
You let out a deep sigh. "We both know you know."
"Prison," he confirms, embarrassed of what that word implies.
"And how your life has been since then."
"I know I fucked up. I hurt you-"
If thousands of apologies are necessary, he's willing to give you all of them.
"You hurt people, Spencer! Not only me! You fooled around; you have been treating women poorly and playing with their feelings. You have lied to your friends and pushed them away. And the worst part is you have been hurting yourself with all this!"
Spencer's eyes squeeze shut. You are right. He knows that. But he is so terrified about you walking away from him that he can't see the big picture.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
"I know you do. But I can't do this anymore. Supporting your self-destructive actions is not helping anyone."
"I know. And I'm not asking you to do that. I'm asking for a chance to show you I'm the guy who would do anything for you. Please?"
"Spencer, that's exactly my point. You must heal because of yourself, not because of me or anyone for that matter."
"I'm not-"
"Listen to yourself. You say you want a chance? But you only ask it after I poured out my heart this afternoon. How can I trust you when you have only shown me this version of you? Don't ask me to believe it."
There are a lot of things Spencer knows he has to do. He has a lot of mistakes to face and make amends for. But he fails to realize that the first amendment he needs to make is to himself.
That's what you have been trying to tell him.
"Are you saying there are no us?"
It's almost a rhetorical question at this point, but Spencer asks it anyway.
You look at him with sorrow in your eyes.
"There is nothing I want more than to be in your life, but in these circumstances, I don't think it's possible. Not when you must clear your head and think about what you want first. For real."
"But I love you; please don't ask me to step away."
It's another plea. The last resource Spencer has in him.
"I'm not asking you for that. What I'm asking you is if you really love me, don't drag me with you in this process you're going through now. I can't - I don't have the strength to stay by your side in this one. I'm sorry, but I need to think of myself this time."
"(Y/N)-"
"And now, I ask you for you to leave, please. It's late," you say, walking to the entrance and opening the front door.
It's late. Those words mean so much more to Spencer now.
It's too late for a love confession when you've already ruined everything that supported it.
It's too late to try to fix the mistakes he has made with you. Even tonight, it was daring to come to your home late at night, being inconsiderate of your space and time.
There is no way he can do something now without hurting you.
Maybe time will give him a hand, and the wounds will soften. Spencer hopes that by making real changes in his life, you will see he really meant everything he has said tonight.
What Spencer doesn't know is that you won't be around to see those changes happen.

Hi! Hope your doing well!
I wanted to know if I could do a request with David Rossi? He has a daughter who has a higher IQ than Reid (it’s like 190 or 200?) has following in her father‘s footsteps and is high up in the FBI like higher than Strauss and he calls her down for a favor because Strauss is bothering Aaron and the team so she’s cracks down on Strauss and stuff?
David Rossi X Daughter Reader
Request: I wanted to know if I could do a request with David Rossi? He has a daughter who has a higher IQ than Reid (it’s like 190 or 200?) has following in her father‘s footsteps and is high up in the FBI like higher than Strauss and he calls her down for a favor because Strauss is bothering Aaron and the team so she’s cracks down on Strauss and stuff?
Third person pov...
Y/N Rossi was in her office in Quantico, she was in thr FBI, she had worked hard and was in a high position within it, Only being 18 she was making a good life of herself with an IQ of 200, it was a normal day she was in her office going over some files when she gets a call.
Wondering who was calling her she picks up. "Agent Rossi speaking" she answers, for work she uses 'Agent' as its easier. "Well hello Agent, this is your padre talking" come her Dad voice, this makes the adult laugh.
"papà non si era accorto che eri tu (1) "she laughs, the man chuckles lightly, she puts down her pen and spins around in her chair.
She looks out the window, her office being on one of the highest floors, a couple below the leader of the FBI. "allora perché chiami, c'è qualcosa che non va? (2) " she asks getting straight into business.
The man sighs wearly before answering
"It's Erin figlia (3) she going after Aaron and the tea. Again, can you do anything?" He askes, the man has just lost his wife a couple months ago.
Struass is pushing the man to leave the BAU, Y/N sighs once again Struass, the woman never knows when to shut up. "I'll see what I can do Papà (4) see you soom" she says, Rossi sighs he sounds less stressed out.
"Thank you piccolo" he says, Y/N sighs ans rubs her forehead looks like she's going to take a trip down to the BAUs floor tomorrow.
The next morning...
Strauss was taking over the case once again, the team gathered around the table, all with sullen looks as Struass looked around.
They were missing one person. "Has Agent Rossi not arrive yet?" She asks the silent room, even the evert rambling Spencer Reid didn't feel like talking to her.
Growing annoyed she goes to talk when a commotion starts in the bullpen, hearing it the team and Strauss stand up and walk out of the room, they are shocked to see Rossi standing with Agent Y/N F/N, one of the only Agents with ties to the chief of the Bureau.
"What is the meaning of this!" Exclaims Strauss, this made Y/N look at the woman, a glare on her young face. He the looks at her Dad. "I guess that's Struass" he says, the man nods his head.
Y/N cracks her knuckles. "You know Struass if you paid more attention to ypur family than this family then maybe you wouldn't be hated as much" she says, this earns her gasps of shock from around the bullpen.
Struass opens her mouth to retort but the H/C girl is quick with more. "You better leave this team alone unless you want a certain fact of yours to come into conversation" Y/Ns ruthless.
Eventually Struass has enough andeaves the bullpen fuming with anger, Y/N smirks at the woman, She gets a smile of thanks from her Dad.
After everyone calms down Y/N gets to meet her Dad team. She looks at Hotch and waves. "Hello Uncle Aaron" she smiles.
The others stare at their boss in shock. "You know her!" Exclaims Derek and Emily, Hotch just gives them a look. "Of course he knows me !" Smiles Y/N.
Rossi soon saves the team from confusion, as he wraps an arm around his daughter pulling her in for a hug and kisses her forehead. "lavoro assolutamente meraviglioso, piccola, hai bruciato quella strega (5) "He says in Italian.
"What how do you know her!" Yells Penelope, the team stare at the two, wondering how close they were, looking at her Dad Y/N laughs.
"You haven't told them about me" she accuses making the old man blushes embarrassed.
Pulling away her him Y/N straightens her suit of before talking, she looks around at the team smiling. "Nice to meet you all I'm Y/N Rossi, F/N is my Mothers last name, I use it so Papà and I are safe from people who wish to kill me or hurt him to get to me." She explains.
Everyone takes the nes well and welcomes Y/N into the family, they all thank her for what she did, Derek and Emily loving how she black mailed Struass into finally leaving them alone.
"It was no problem, Papà called about the old witch, of course I had to help him out"she says, Reid was surprised to meet someone who had a higher IQ than him but was happy when she actually listened to his ramblings about anything and could actually keep up with him.
As the day was coming to an end the team had gone home, apart from two,
Y/N and her Dad, the woman was waiting for him to finish up, once he was done the two walk to bus car.
"Thank you again piccolo, we couldn't of done it without you" he confessed. Y/n hugged the man, "it was nothing Papà, you can pay me back by cooking your famous pasta for dinner" she bargained.
This man the man laugh, of course as always she speaks with her stomache. "Pasta it is piccolo!" He announces making the girl laugh.
The end!

2023 End of Year Post - kdrama edition
Yes, we have a some of December left, and I want to check out Death's Game but whatever. I got time for this now and not sure if I will have later so here goes.
This is only going to cover kdramas that aired in 2023; if I watched it but it was made in a different year, it’s not on the list. This was an excellent kdrama year, the likes of which we hadn't had in a long time.
DRAMAS WATCHED
In order of liking from least to most as opposed to pure quality so pls don't come for me, fans of some popular dramas that are on my nope list. Also, I am including if I’ve seen enough to make up my mind; yes I realize that’s inaccurate, but that’s my list.
33. The Escape of the Seven - this is so aggressively stupid and mean that it feels like the makers are playing a practical joke seeing how much their audience will take. This has a season 2 coming, so the answer is a lot.
32. Behind Your Touch - the FL gets superpowers by touching people's and animals' butts. Yes, you read this right. Do I really need to add anything?
31. King the Land - yes, it was a hit. Yes, it stars popular actors. I HATED IT LIKE IT TOUCHED MY BUTT TO GET SUPERPOWERS!!! Plastic people in paint by the numbers story, with about as much genuineness or retability as a barbie aisle in walmart. I never expect much from Yoona so whatever, but to have LJH go from The Red Sleeve to this boggles the mind.
30. Mrs Durian - this is so dumb that I think I lost a few IQ points watching this, but its insanity becomes entertaining - I mean what kdrama can you name where a daughter in law declares her love and lust for her mother in law at a family dinner?
29. The Matchmakers - there is nothing offensive about this drama at all. But there is nothing in the least interesting either. If elevator music took drama shape, it would be this show.
28. Destined with You - sorry, Rowoon, I am still fond of you, but you are two for two in drama duds department this year. This is a drama where I loved ep 1, liked ep 2, was indifferent to 3 and...you get the point. Each ep was worse than the one before, and I bailed before I was dragged into a cosmic singularity.
27. Oasis - great first two episodes. Unfortunately it was not a two ep show. The performances are solid but the story is just not there - the effect is like a fancy chef making an amazing sauce to put on pig slop.
26. Boyhood - it's not you, it's me in action. I can see why people would like it but a 34-year old playing a high schooler in a Weak Hero Class 1 Slapstick Edition is no go for me.
25. Castaway Diva - it's so precious and kooky in the most annoying ways, with the most well-adjusted abused castaway in history. I like magic realism when done by Jorge Amado, but this ain't Amado.
24. Island - it had a good concept, good cast and fun visuals but the execution deserved one of ML's swords through the neck.
23. The Worst of Evil - if I wanted an American show, I'd watch one. Very solid performances though.
22. Song of the Bandits - period edition of what I said about The Worst of Evil.
21. Welcome to Samdalri - and goodbye to any hope of emotional involvement.
20. Joseon Attorney - I have yet to like a single sageuk centered around a profession and this was not an exception. I guess it could be worse but it also could have been so much better.
19. Twinkling Watermelon - everyone loved this drama. Everyone except for me. It's the kind of precious that sets my teeth on edge and I couldn't stand half the main characters we were supposed to root for. I guess I like my fruits to shine steadily.
18. Our Blooming Youth - probably the biggest disappointment on this list. This is not a bad drama by any means, but with that cast and that story (I loved the novel), I was hoping for a memorable sageuk not merely all right.
17. Vigilante - it has the emotional complexity and nuance of a punch to the throat but it gives us quasi-gay openly-murderous dudes going after psychos and Yoo Ji Tae holding feral Nam Joo Hyuk by his hoodie at his feet.
16. The Forbidden Marriage - expected nothing but it was a surprisingly enjoyable trifle of a costume drama that was also quite pretty.
15. Arthdal Chronicles: Sword of Aramun - a hot mess but such an entertaining epic one. And it gave us TWO Lee Jun Kis in period gear and who am I to cavil at the bounty of God?
14. The Story of Park's Marriage - it's a trifle, a souffle, so light it might blow away, but it keeps my attention and is so fun and sweet.
13. My Lovely Liar - a huge surprise, that manages to mix a murder mystery and a romcom, and shocked me by showing Hwang Minhyun can act.
12. Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 - the original ToNT was my fave drama of its year and I did not think it needed a sequel. But this is not a sequel but more of a side-quel and is such a total delight with brotherly love, adventures, romance and hijinks. It's a joy.
11. Perfect Marriage Revenge - it's actually very hard to do a soap right but this slim 12 ep drama managed. So fun, so crazy, such a good ship!
10. My Lovely Boxer - not really about sports, but about two broken people finding salvation because of and in each other. Also, if you like age gap romances, this is delicious. Sort of loses steam by the end but c’est la vie.
9. The Secret Romantic Guesthouse - this was a sageuk that was not on my radar with a bunch of actors I was not familiar with but it took my heart away. A good plot that was perfectly paced, characters and ships I adored, a logical ending. This is one of the biggest positive surprises of the year for me.
8. Tell Me That You Love Me - a slice of life remake (sort of, it's more "inspired by") of my favorite jdrama of all time. It's not as good as the jdrama because nothing could be, but it's an aching lovely story with some incredible performances.
7. See You In My 19th Life - funny and romantic and haunting and hopeful and odd. This was one of my favorites of the year.
6. Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow - it's rare for me to like a (1) sequel (2) with FL actress change (3) that is a Hong Sisters drama. But this was such a gorgeous, surprisingly achy story of love and loss and love regained with some cool monster fighting in the middle. Between the two seasons, this is the first Hong Sisters' drama I enjoyed from beginning to end in well over a decade.
5. My Demon - so tropey (chaebols, supernaturals) but it proves that these tropes are popular for a reason. The chemistry is fire, the story is unpredictable and the whole thing is an addictive delight. A rare drama where I like each new ep more than the last one.
4. Goryeo Khitan War - an old school sageuk in every meaning of the term (no romance, no eye candy, lots of bearded men, battles and politics), this feels like watching an epic movie more than a drama. The vast cast all earns their place and the performances (mainly from character actors given a chance to shine) are incredible.
3. Call It Love - two very very damaged people finding love and healing with each other. This is a narrative very hard to do to my satisfaction but when it's done well, as here, there are few things that can hold a candle to it.
2. My Dearest - a masterpiece of cinematography, narrative, performances. This is an old-school epic romance in the best sense of the term. If it doesn't make you swoon or break your heart, there is something wrong with you. A story of two untraditional, strong-willed, flawed people who fall in love in the middle of the horrifying Qing invasion of Korea and have to deal with all that the world throws at them, this is a bona fide masterpiece.
1 - Moon in the Day - who knew my favorite kdrama of the year will star a store brand Domyoji from Extraordinary You and an actress I was never familiar with. But this part period/part modern fantasy tale of doomed cursed lovers is everything I knew I wanted and everything I didn't know I wanted but did. Two lovers where their love did not save them and in modern day it might not again, has got me obsessed the way I haven't been in years.
FAVORITE DRAMA
Moon in the Day - if there is such a thing as a drama made perfectly for me, this gorgeous, emotionally haunting, utterly romantic, twisty tale is it.
WORST DRAMA
The Escape of the Seven. This drama is proof that demons exist and not sexy ones like Song Kang but horrible nasty ones who delight in the torment this hot mess inflicted on its viewers.
FAVORITE MALE CHARACTER
Do Ha, Moon in the Day - a Silla general and a consummate killer who committed atrocities on the orders of his monster father and yearned to die for them, who found the meaning in life in loving his enemy but it did not make him better, a man so obsessed he literally was around for 1500 years of horrifying ghostly existence and still went "worth it" for a woman who killed him as long as he knew she loved him while she did it. He's intense and competent and beyond fucked up and has never had a normal day and I love him so so so very much from a safe distance.
FAVORITE FEMALE CHARACTER
Gil Chae, My Dearest - she starts out as vain and spoiled but the horrors that break so many others bring out all her fierce survivor potential and she becomes such a force of nature - capable of incredible love but also sacrifice and strength and compassion.
Runner Up: Shin Hye Sun's reincarnator in See You In My 19th Life - quirky, damaged, strong, so odd and so vulnerable at once.
NEEDS TO BE MURDERED
There are a lot of characters who fit that category (King Injo in My Dearest? My God) but the crown belongs to So Ri Bu from Moon in the Day. You think you've seen abusive parents but until you've seen a man abuse his son his whole life and then continue for 1500 years after his death, you ain't seen nothing!
FAVORITE SHIP
The doomed by the narrative OTP of Moon in The Day. Only thing that's better than enemies to lovers is enemies while lovers and their impossible relationship where her killing him is a supreme act of love and his refusing to let go is so strong that he stays around for 1500 years watching her, helpless as she dies over and over again, is everything you ever want.
Runner up: Jang Hyun/Gil Chae, My Dearest. They are so strong and so damaged and it takes them so long to figure out what they feel and what the other person feels but their love and sacrifice and complexities are perfect.
FAVORITE SECONDARY OTP
Kim Shi Yeol/Hong Joo, The Secret Romantic Guesthouse - an assassin bodyguard pretending to be a carefree scholar and a widow of the man he killed to protect his king (and whose life was destroyed as a result.) I enjoyed the main OTP of this drama but I was utterly and completely unhinged for the secondary couple.
I'd have probably picked Rang and his mermaid from TotNT 1938 even over them, but they really were the main OTP of that drama.
NOTP
King the Land couple seems like an easy target but honestly, they are both so terribly bland and antiseptic and marketing by committee, they kinda deserve each other. So I am gonna go with Destined with You, one half of which thinks supernaturally roofying someone into loving them is cute and the other half thinks dating one woman while wooing another is totally a-ok. Ugh.
FAVORITE SCENE
There is no competition for the scene in the slave market in My Dearest, where Jang Hyun finds Gil Chae - the way he screams and tries to clutch the hem of her skirt will live in my head forever.
And the scene where he 'wins' that horrifying bet, or the scene where she finds him in a pile of bodies - they are as good also. Or when he fights off a squad to protect her even though he's sick. That whole drama is perfect.
Runner up: the scene of Do Ha executing Ri Ta's family, covered in blood, as she looks at him from the crowd in Moon in the Day.
Or the scene where he talks about how he cannot live as a person but at least maybe she will kill him and he will die as one. Or when her confession in the past intercuts with his walking in the present, or when he comes home in his bloodied armor and she finds he has a fever and it's the first tender touch he's probably ever known. Her murdering So Ri Bu saying she knows she's going against filial piety in loving her parents' murderer, the way they hug, both bloody, as he says "let's live." The way she says she can't go on as she's hit rock bottom and he replies she cannot quit because she must accompany him to his rock bottom now. Honestly, the drama is a font of amazingness.
Also, the opening scene of Goryeo Khitan War or the scene of Yang Gyu ordering to shoot the captives and having to do so himself.
The OTP meeting again at the intersection at the end of ep 1 of Tell Me That You Love Me. SHS comforting ABH as he's having a traumatic breakdown in 19th Life. The love-making scene in Call It Love. There were a lot of great scenes this year.
BIGGEST CRUSH
Lee Jang Hyun, My Dearest - is that even a competition? He's flawed - vain, often emotionally closed off, not great at processing emotions, lashing out when hurt. He is also incredibly heroic in a real, knows the cost but bears it, kind of way. Whatever he does, he commits utterly but it's never without understanding the cost. He felt both larger than life and utterly real. He went through hell and maintained his soul and the way he loved Gil Chae was breath-taking to behold.
Runner Up: Yang Gyu, Goryeo Khitan War - an experienced military commander who wins an impossible victory even as it ravages his soul. Competence is sexy as fuck.
BEST SCENE STEALER CHARACTER
Rang, Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 - 1938 really was Rang's chance to shine and he took it. For a character I started out disliking in the original, he really stole my entire heart in this drama. I am so glad he got his happy ending with his brother and his girl.
Runner Up: Crown Prince, My Dearest. He started out as a sheltered, spoiled aristocrat, convinced the world owed him for existing. He grew up slowly and painfully into an amazing man. And then was murdered for it and I cried.
NEEDS A SEQUEL
Arthdal - it leaves the story at a good stopping point but it's very much a "world in flux, adventures and conflicts continue" ending and I would love to see more of these characters. I know we won't but it would have been nice.
NEEDS SCISSORS TAKEN TO IT
Behind Your Touch - should have been snipped at birth.
TOO MANY SCISSORS TAKEN TO IT
Vigilante - I don't mean it had scissors taken to it because it's not cdrama and there is no NRTA, but this drama would have benefitted from being longer. I mean, I love fights and gay polycules as much as the next tumblr person but a bit more character development would not have come amiss. (ahaha - I said come. Leave me alone.)
TROPE THAT NEEDS TO DIE
I don't care about cops/doctors/trash collectors/whoever - workplace drama centering on their "cases" needs to die. I hate procedurals from any country and Korea is no exception.
FAVORITE TROPE WE’VE SEEN A LOT OF
Supernatural critter devoted to their OTP with all the power of their long life.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT
Our Blooming Youth - it was far from terrible but it was a giant meh. I was so excited to see Park Hyung Sik in a sageuk (that wasn't the hot mess that was Hwarang) and I adored the source novel. It actually started well and then...it's like Revenge of the Beige!
BIGGEST GOOD SURPRISE
I want to say Moon in the Day but to be honest, I was excited by posters and trailers so it wasn't wholly a surprise despite not having much of an opinion on the actors before I saw them. So I am going to say My Demon. I was bored by the trailers, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Kim Yoo Jung drama and before this year I would have said Song Kang was an incredibly limited actor in everything I've seen him in and not appealing to me at all. And here I am rabidly rabiding for this drama!
If I am not limiting myself to dramas but can use this for actors - Hwang Minhyun in My Lovely Liar. I genuinely did not think the man could act and then he gave such a pitch-perfect, nuanced performance out of nowhere!
2023 DRAMAS I HAVEN’T SEEN THAT I MOST WANT TO WATCH
I have actually watched all the kdramas that aired this year that I wanted to check out except for Evilive. I am saving this for when I have time.
BEST NON-2023 DRAMA I’VE WATCHED IN 2023
I don't know if I'd say it's the best but Say You Love Me (2004) with Kim Rae Won as a quasi monk seduced away from his true love by an evil older woman was a hell of a ride.
MOST ANTICIPATED
Love Song for Illusion (Lady assassin falls for her royal target who has two personalities), Captivating the King (lady spy falls for her royal target who is tormented) - notice a theme? Also Flower that Blooms at Night because Honey Lee in a sageuk, The Life of Mrs Ock (Lim Ji Yeon in a sageuk), The Love Story of Chun Hwa (an "erotic" sageuk, hmmmm, what?!), Hong Rang (Lee Jae Wook in a super angst sageuk), Queen Woo (that cast and set in Goguryeo!), Wong Kyung (about Lee Bang Won's wife and I love the cast.) Basically, if it's period, I am there with bells on.

Inspired by a poll someone else posted months ago, I want to challenge you all to a little game to test your Lupin III knowledge. We all know how silly the series can get, but how smart is your threshold for the weird?
Can you guess which of these plot points was completely made up by me?
Jigen challenges Lupin to steal back a euro bill he deposited in the bank or else clean the hideout for a whole year.
Descendants of Sherlock Holmes, Lew Archer, and Kosuke Kindaichi are riding a blimp as part of a rich guy's challenge for Lupin to steal his prized ruby.
Lupin steals an Italian church's mummified crocodile, which turns out to have a map hidden in its stomach that leads to the secret treasure of a Satanic cult.
Lupin is challenged by a duo of destitute handymen into opening a safe that can only be opened by someone with literally 0 IQ.
Fujiko fakes her death in order to locate Lupin's hidden treasure in Crete, which is guarded by a shapeshifting minotaur robot.
Goemon accidentally fishes a corpse out of the Hudson river and is subsequently haunted by the ghost of a young lady in an aerobics outfit.
A former child star spreads a tabloid rumor that Lupin stole her pet cat. Also, her cat eats pencil shavings for some reason.
Lupin goes to a doctor to have his athlete's foot treated, but the doctor uses his skin sample to create Lupin clones for profit.
Zenigata thinks he's a Russian gentleman thief after suffering from amnesia, and he keeps stealing Lupin's thunder.
Lupin becomes a Confucian priest after drinking a special elixir that was filtered through a philosophy book.
This poll will run for a week, after which I will reblog it with the correct answer and a breakdown of which plot points happened where.

"Brawn & Brains"
Jschlatt x Reader | Video Game Highschool AU | Enemies to Lovers
part 1 part 2 part 3 part 4
Schlatt watched her intently as she gave a pep talk to her team, probably praising them for the first round. He had to hand it to her, she may not be as good as him (of course she isn't) but what she lacks in aim, she makes up for with her sneaky 200 IQ plays.
He expected her to read him, but he didn't expect that she was willing to die to get her team the win. He had this idea of her, only an idea not a full thought out view of her— She was smart, one of those girls who did things by the book, that's how she'd win, all purely by skill not by luck while he on the other hand, liked to gamble with his chances. Sometimes throwing a whole game just so he can win it back in one round. His team hates him for it, but they couldn't complain with their win ratio.
He remembered hearing her name for the first time, he was waiting for his acceptance letter into VGHS but he got rejected, the principal named Calhoun said some bullshit that he barely listened to. Something along the lines of "It's all about the game" or some shit like that, he mentioned how Schlatt focused too much on the winning aspect and not the time that goes into the game, not the skill, not what it means to be passionate.
He is passionate though! Only with winning, not much the game... Guess that's why he didn't get in. He heard her name from peers, how she was the first female varsity captain in VGHS. He remembered searching up her top clips, seeing her no scope people from a distance. To him, the person on screen was barely visible but to her? It seemed like she perceived them in an arms length distance, he was blown away, impressed even and he is hard to please.
He was jealous, he could never snipe like that, he could never read opponents like that. People chat about how he was lucky, how he's so talented but nobody ever knew the nights he spent balling his fists and slamming his desk, losing sleep for tournaments to become the best of the best, he would never settle for less.
He couldn't tell if he was her number one fan or her number one hater, or maybe both. Whatever it is, he still wanted to watch her games out of curiosity so when the opportunity came and she was in a tournament he watched and she played well until the last round, she completely fucked up and missed a shot on a guy last minute as he reached objective. He remembered seeing that look in her eye, he couldn't see her whole face but just from her eyes.
He knew she would never let herself live that down.
He couldn't tell if he wanted to hug her, tell her all about his own experiences and how he's had a lot of fuck ups too or if he wanted to laugh in her face and brag how he'd never miss such an easy shot.
He's an asshole, he knows it and there's this gnawing feeling at the back of his head, guilt maybe? Shame? Probably both.
He just didn't know how to face it.
Soon when the two got into their respective schools and started competing it was only natural they'd run into each other.
The game started and Schlatt didn't even bother telling his team shit, it was a common occurrence where he wouldn't give his team a plan and he'd just kill everyone or the majority.
"Captain, any plan?" Connor asked, one of his team mates that he grew to like. "The usual, just kill 'em'." He responded lazily, Connor nodded, used to his antics by now.
Schlatt walked off on his on, not caring whether or not his team lives. He camped up on a hill, waiting for Y/N to get near their base. He waits a couple minutes and sees her team but no sign of her. He frowned a little as he realizes she probably stayed at base.
He equips his gun and aims, the recoil making him jolt back as the bullet breaks through the air, cleanly hitting an enemy in the head. He smirks as he hears the crowd cheer, of course they were spectating him. He widely grins as he pulls back.
Few minutes go by and nothing happens, pure silence.
His team starts getting paranoid, giving comms through their walkie talkies.
"Where are they? It's oddly quiet."
"I'm looking through my scope, I don't see anything?"
Schlatt scoffs, these fuckers are over reacting.
"Schlatt? Is anything happening on your end?" Ted asks, the tall man with glasses sighed, knowing that he wouldn't respond. The rest of the team would be left alone to fend for themselves.
Schlatt mutes his walkie talkie and lays against a tree as he grumbles to himself how stupid his team is, how they won't shut their damn mouth and all they had to do was pretend that they were putting effort in the game while he did all the work.
Crack!
He whips his head to the other direction across from his base, multiple shots were fired in such specific locations.
Fuck that fucking bitch was mapping out our base.
He grabbed his gun and redirected it to the enemy's base, trying to find whoever was shooting. He couldn't tell where the main source was coming from, the sound of shots from all sorts of directions filled his ears. From a distance he heard the yells of panic from his team mates. Connor was yelling out his name in attempt to call their captain back and help them while Ted was shouting at him to shut up and focus.
"Goddamn idiots." He grunted, shuffling on the bare dirt on his stomach to properly get a look through the scope of his sniper.
He grabbed his walkie talkie again, unmuting it.
"Connor, give me the run down."
Everyone on his team sighed in relief that their captain was still alive and not wounded in anyway.
"I- They're shooting from their base but I saw some behind trees and other angles, we can't pin point where they are because they're playing aggressive, one of us tried peeking but he immediately got shot in the head-" Connor said quickly, word stumbling out of his mouth.
Trees? Schlatt looked around and spotted one behind a tree not too far off from enemy territory. He got a hit and repositioned, finding another place to hide in since the opposition probably realized where he was now.
He watched as his team in their base refused to peek, any place that they could look through was being shot at. Windows, doors, any entrance or place someone could come from was adorned with markings from the bullets.
They were making sure they couldn't step foot out of base.
Schlatt immediately grabbed his walkie talkie.
"Fuck, three of you idiots get out from the back, make sure they don't see you. Start trying to pick them off, distract them."
Before Connor, Ted, and Charlie could reply Schlatt immediately muted his walkie talkie and took a pistol and an AK47 with him.
Watching as Charlie slowly opened the back door and cleared it, Ted and Connor shuffle along. They start peeking, making sure that the enemy team knows of their presence. Nobody dies, it's mostly an exchange of utility and bullets flying through the air.
Schlatt makes a run for it across the wooded area, making sure nobody sees or hears him. He looks off to the side, taking note of where the enemies were stationed. One on top of a tree, two looking out of the window, and last two weren't visable.
He checked his equipment and took a deep inhale.
He swiftly pulled out his assault rifle, a clean shot to the head towards one of the enemies in the trees. In the corner of his eye he can see the two figures in the window of the base, their heads snapping towards the sound of his gun. Schlatt was only able to shoot one down but the other was swift and went back into base.
He grunts in frustration, realizing how everyone in their team now knew where he was. He started getting antsy, looking around and getting a bit paranoid. He hasn't seen Y/n all round as well as another one of her team mates.
He could storm into their base, clear it and try to get as much information for his team as much as possible, as much as he didn't say it much— they were very capable and good players, I mean duh they are, how else could they have joined the varsity team?
But chances are he'll die and he didn't know if he wanted to risk that.
He could also regroup with his team, give them the run down of what he knows so far (which is not much) but if they all go in blind while the other team knows all of their positions and plans, it might just end in a full team wipe out.
"God fucking damn it" He cocks his gun and decides the former was better, he grabbed his walkie talkie.
"Goin' in blind, gonna stay unmuted and comm whatever I see so we have intel. If I die, you fuckers better win." He busts down the door and clears all his corners.
"First floor clear so far," He said in a hushed tone into his walkie talkie. He continued scanning the area.
He heard a foot step up stairs, his eyes immediately dart to the stair case. "Heard someone up stairs, any info?" He whispers even lower into his walkie talkie.
Charlie peers from behind a wall, he stayed outside to patrol while Connor stayed inside and Ted was on the roof looking over at enemy territory.
"I don't see anything on the roof." Charlie's slightly distorted voice came through the device, Schlatt winced at how loud his voice was, he turned down the volume. Charlie went back to his original position, no longer wanting to look out into the other base but before he could even step further he hit a tree behind him.
A quick mumble of an apology escaped his lips out of habit.
"It's alright, I don't mind." a female voice rang out from behind him.
He sighed, not thinking much of it. His eyes grew wide.
"Wait, fuck isn't that?—"
He recognized the voice after a split second. He flicks to look behind him to meet face to face with the enemy team's captain. She gives an apologetic smile, mumbling out a sorry before she fires a bullet into his head.
Ted, Connor, and Schlatt heard the gun shot, without another word Ted looked over the railing from the roof and before he could even make out the girl's features he gets shot by Y/n. She already took note of where everyone would be position and where they could possibly reposition.
She smirked to herself, her heart swelling with pride. She could finally prove aim isn't everything, you need brains to win a damn game.
She picked up the walkie talkie on the ground that Charlie left behind.
"Hiiiiiii Schlatt!! Are you proud? I didn't miss this time." She dragged her words, greeting him in a mocking tone.
"Fuck you." His tone cold, no longer finding this funny. She cackled into the walkie talkie. His knuckles turned white, clutching the device in his hand tightly. "I'm gonna fuckin' kill you."
"I'd like to see you try." She's never seen him this pissed off, he always kept his cool or just laughed in people's faces anytime they tried anything.
"You're playing hard ball for a bitch that missed the easiest fucking shot a few tournaments ago." He sneered at her.
Connor listened to the conversation, the two were loud, not caring at this point if everyone knew their position was. While Y/n was distracted Connor snuck up towards the door that led to the back of the building. He pushed it open slightly, a loud creaked followed.
She let out a small gasp out of her lips and immediately slid towards the door, shutting it as Connor tried to kick it down. She waited for him to continuously kick, as he kicked forward she let go of the door.
The weight of his body pushed the door open, not expecting that she would suddenly let go he stumbled and fell face first. The sound of a gunshot ensued, making Schlatt look out the window in concern. He was left wondering what happened until he saw the kill feed.

Brewing Romance Chapter 1 Cafe Dream
A Collab Story with @lizaluvsthis SMG3 and SMG4 design for the AU by Liz! Next Chapter Summary: SMG4 starts to struggle with his finances when he learns living in his newly built castle is more pricey than he thought. So when he gets an invite to the grand opening of SMG3 Coffee n Bombs he manages to land himself a second job as the cafe waiter where both men will learn that coffee won't be the only thing brewing in this cafe.
Tags: Slow burn, fluff, comedy, just two idiots in love, love confession, first kiss
The alarm rings, waking up SMG4 from his deep slumber, with a groan he smacks around the side table till he finally hits the alarm. He yawns and stretches, still feeling drained as he walks to the bathroom of his newly built castle. He was still getting used to having a place to call his own, it was nice and the perfect place for making videos without interruptions.
Though he still felt guilty over how he ended up in his current residents, no matter how hard he tries to look at the positives. For example, his rival of several years finally became his friend. He brushes his teeth then splashes water on his face to wake up, he really needed to stop staying up so late editing videos. As he walks back into the main hall he hears the front doors get kicked in, there was his rival and friend SMG3 charging in with a huge smile. He blinked when Three flashed an envelope at him “Oi! You know that cafe I have been saving up for? Well you're invited to the grand opening tonight!”
Four takes the envelope and opens it “Wow! This is amazing Three, i didnt even think you could make coffee.” SMG3 glares at the man before noticing that Four was still in his pajamas, not to mention his hair was still a mess. He sighs and crosses his arms “It’s one in the afternoon Four, don't tell me you just woke up.” SMG4 gives the other man a sheepish smile as he puts the invite away “I might have stayed up a little too late…” SMG3 rolled his eyes then started walking to the kitchen, curious Four followed to see what he was up to. He sits on the counter as he watches Three grab a bag of coffee beans “Watch and learn scrub as i show you how good my coffee is!” Four smirks and crosses his arms “You sure you can make that good of coffee? I have you know as a coffee drinker myself it actually requires a very high IQ and a level of artistry-” before he can finish his sentence SMG3 throws a roll of paper towels at him to shut him up. Pleased that the towels shut the man up he turns to go back to making coffee, of course he was making the coffee to show he had running a cafe in the bag and not because of how drained SMG4 looked. Four glares at Three for the sudden attack in the middle of his sentence only to then end up staring in awe of the cup of coffee Three sets in front of him. He picks up the cup and hums at the smell of the fresh brew, he takes a sip and notices the smug look on SMG3. SMG4 turns and takes another sip. “Meh, it's not bad, maybe you can run a cafe.” Three nods with a huge grin on his face “Guess that means I have that high IQ you were blabbing about earlier.” Four rolls his eyes and puts his cup down “Now now i didn't say you did just said you might be able to run a cafe,” before the two men could start arguing they hear the front door open. Three takes out more invites and walks out of the kitchen, once the man is gone Four looks at the coffee and smiles softly “He is even a tsundere when making coffee.”
Finishing the drink he walks out of the kitchen to see the crew congratulating Three on the opening of his cafe. Mario grabs the invite and starts chanting “Spaghetti spaghetti!” SMG3 sighs trying to get the plumber to calm down “Mario it's a cafe, We don't serve spaghetti!” The words only made things worse as Mario’s demands got louder to the point that Three gave up “Okay yes spaghetti just for you so don't set anything on fire when you get there tonight.” Meggy pats Three’s back “Don't worry Three i will watch over Mario!”
Four chuckles seeing the group being rowdy, he could only picture how the trip to Three’s cafe will be like. SMG3 says his goodbyes as he heads off to his cafe, everything was going to plan he had employees at the ready plus his new friends were invited. Nothing could ruin the day for him, he makes it home and takes the elevator to his room. He removes his hat revealing his hair in a bun before setting his long hair loose. He sits on his bed and starts writing in his notebook, he couldn't hold back his excitement at finally opening his cafe. Eggdog seeing his father home hops on the bed and snuggles up to him, Three smiles softly as he pets the pup.
He still wasn't sure on uniforms for his cafe yet, every cafe he went to had them so he knew they were a must to make him stand out. At the moment all he had were aprons with the cafe logo on them, he hums as he makes a note to himself to doodle some designs after the grand opening. Looking at the time he still had four hours before he had to get ready for work, he cuddles up with Eggdog to take a nap.
Suddenly the phone starts ringing, he rubs his eyes picking up the phone “Hello?” he hears a sigh on the other line “I’m sorry boss i won't be able to go in.” Three sighs pinching the bridge of his nose “Okay thank you for letting me know,” it was just one employee it's not like everyone is going to call out. His phone starts blowing up with text messages from the others saying the same thing, panic starts to rise. Looking at the time he frowns, they all called an hour before opening. How could this happen?
He gets dressed and hurriedly puts his hair in a bun with his favorite blue hair tie then slaps his hat on, he goes up the elevator nervous. He invited so many people to the grand opening, it will be just him and everyone he invited. He takes a deep breath. There is no way everyone will come, he can do this. He opens the door with the best smile he can muster “Welcome everyone to the grand opening of SMG3 Coffee N Bombs!” Everyone charges in looking around excitedly, Three stands at the ready for the orders to come in. Just him and a full house of people, noticing people lining up he takes out his notepad. It was smooth at the start only a few people ordered giving him time to make the drinks and drop them off.
Mario walks up “Hmmm spaghetti!” SMG3 rolls his eyes at the order “Yeah sure be right on that.” He watches Mario excitedly take his seat with the crew, then SMG4 walks up with a small list “Here is what everyone wants, have to say Three this place is pretty packed i'm sure you and your employees have your work cut out huh?” “Yep so busy I had to send some out to get more beans, guess that means i'm a success!” He takes the list hoping that Four bought the lie. SMG4 smiles at Three “I'm happy for you three,” he walks away to sit with the crew. He starts making everyone's coffee then remembers Mario’s order “I have no choice…I must commit coffee sin if I don't want that idiot to melt down.” looking around he goes to the kitchen to make spaghetti then mixes it in a cup of coffee for Mario. He stares at the drink in disgust but he knows his avatar will be ecstatic about the drink.
As he hands the crew their coffee he hears the door open, turning he sees a huge swarm of people go in. His eyes go wide at the amount of people that walked in, he runs to take everyone's orders getting confused with which table what order went to. Four frowns looking at the line and then at Three, he started to wonder where the other employees were. He had a feeling they were not on a bean run. SMG3 was panicking, this wasn't how his first day was supposed to go he couldn't take it anymore “Excuse me everyone, i need to get more coffee from the back!”
He runs to the back room and sits on the couch trying to catch his breath. He was starting to burn himself out and he had no idea how to fix this mess. Suddenly he hears footsteps, looking up, he glares at the unexpected guest “SMG4 this is for employees last i check you don't work here!” Ignoring the aggressive tone, Four sits next to Three “I notice things are pretty busy and I don't see anyone else but you…are they really on a bean run?”
SMG3 sighs, figures the idiot would put things together “They all called out, i'm the only one working here.” he gets up and grabs a bag of coffee beans getting ready to face the crowd waiting for him “I have work to do, so leave and drink your coffee.” Four steps in front of the man with a determined look “Let me help, I have been a waiter before and with the two of us I'm sure we can calm this storm happening!” SMG3 shakes his head “I don't need your help,” he tries to step around Four only for SMG4 to move with him. With a groan he grabs an apron with the cafe logo “I will pay you for today, but don't think you work here now. The last thing I want is a scrub like you around me all the time.”
SMG4 smiles and takes the apron, both men nod at each other as they step out ready to face those waiting in line. Four takes out a red hair tie picking up his hair, he taps his shoes for wheels to come out. Three looks at the wheels surprised “You wear Heelys?!” Four nods as he slides around the cafe dropping the orders at the tables “Helps me get around faster!”
SMG3 kept taking orders then making the coffee for SMG4 to take, he couldn't help himself watching Four skate around handing people their coffee. How can his rival look so adorable in a ponytail, realizing his thoughts he blushes shaking them out of his head. There was no way he would be attracted to the idiot, he was just distracted by the man's work skill. As time passed the hoard of people thinned out till it was closing time, the moment Three locked the door both men collapsed on the floor “So that went well.”
SMG4 lets out a small chuckle “Yeah you can say that, we make a pretty good team.” Three and Four look at each other and smile softly before looking around and seeing the mess the cafe is in. SMG3 groans “I will pay you overtime if you help me clean this place,” SMG4 gets up and offers his hand to Three “Sure, lets clean up!” The two of them finish cleaning the cafe while teasing each other on who was the fastest on fixing the tables. Four had to admit he had fun working with Three like this, sure it was busy with the huge crowd they drew in but seeing another side of SMG3 was worth it for Four. He takes off the apron and hands it to Three, they both say their goodbyes and separate.
Both of them go to their own room smiling in bed at the fun they had working together in the cafe, slowly both men pass out with their minds filled with each other.

Top 7 WORST Dragon Ball Transformations
Honorable mention: Beast Zarbon
Because they turned my muscle twink into a bear...
Super Saiyan God
This fucker. As much as I like Battle of Gods, this redhead continued a trend that started with a green tinged Broly and ended with orange fucking Piccolo and a cast of otter pop flavored Super Saiyans.
At least Super Saiyan 4 wasn't just a recolor of a recolor...
Orange Piccolo
Speaking of lazy, visually unappealing, late stage capitalism embodying recolors, Piccolo is orange now. Yes I know he hasn't been relevant in a fight since his introduction in the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament and briefly when Toriyama remembered against Second Form Frieza and Imperfect Cell, but it's ok, don't worry kids, HE'S ORANGE.
Super Android 13
How is there still downhill from a trucker hat? Do you like this? Leave a comment on this webzone if you like this? Explain why you like his Vegeta hair and 90s earrings if you like this. Detail your obsession with blue skinned gingers if you like this.
Third Form Frieza
Why is he a xenomorph? Why is he a xenomorph?! I guess I wasn't expecting him to be a xenomorph, which is typical for Toriyama, but WHY IS HE A XENOMORPH??? Like it's weird he's the alien from Alien, right? And it's weirder that he's almost 1:1 the pirate robot Goku fought in OG Dragon Ball
Fifth Form Cooler
Oh fuck you. You fucking piece of shit. Fifth form? You're so non-canon it hurts. This couldn't just be his second form or idk his third form, since Frieza's second form was already Cooler. But it's his fifth! And Goku has to be there, because it's filler, so the threat needs to be bigger. It's not like the Frieza race are shapeshifters. Of course they're not dipshit, they all follow the same template. They're like the evolution chart detailing prehistoric ape to cromagnon man to blond guy. And this is his fifth form!
Imagine if this had been a Piccolo movie set while Goku was on Yardrat. We have Frieza's bro, who's not just miraculous stronger despite never doing anything about it, but he's still more powerful than the second form Frieza Piccolo fought. Idk. Fuck Coola
Super Buu
This one is basically a Dragon Ball IQ test. At first glance he looks ok, maybe even cool. However, those with sufficient gray matter can easily ascertain that he's actually garbage, and that Fat Buu was the best design all along. He's just so generic looking, which is almost impressive for a guy so pink and sponge-y looking. Oh. And his transformation includes raiding people's wardrobe without realizing that shit don't even match
Super Saiyan 3
See, a bad transformation isn't just about aesthetics. And don't get me wrong, the aesthetics are also awful. That caveman brow, the Raditz hair, those obscene spikes. But no, the worst part about Super Saiyan 3, the thing that I truly absolutely despise, is how effortlessly it cheapens Super Saiyan and Gohan's feat of going Beyond Super Saiyan
Because everyone had that thought the second Trunks arrived and went blond. That they could do it. Gohan, Vegeta, Ghost of Nappa, and any other Saiyan that might be out there. All of them could go Super Saiyan now, it's not prophecy after all. And that leads to the question of escalation. What next?
Well the Cell Saga answered this. Gohan was next. He went Beyond Super Saiyan. The boy did what his dad don't, he fucking mastered that shit. Then out comes Super Saiyan 3 like a baaaaad fart. But it only gets worse. It's a flawed, incomplete transformation that only works if you're dead. It's strong, but burns through energy faster than the body can collect it. And that's that. Dragon Ball ends, Goku saving the day without even using his new form. Dragon Ball GT introduces SS4 and DBS provides a crayon box of recolors for you to shove up your nose, all the while Super Saiyan 3 is left in the dust. It came, we all saw it, it sucked.

come see inside my heart (1)
spencer reid x fem! reader
Summary: You’re rehabilitated! You swear on it! So, when a serial killer turns up, with the same killing method as you, it threatens everything you have worked not-so hard for.
tw/cw: CANON TYPICAL VOILENCE AND THEMES! This chapter is mild but! Further chapters will deal with mature topics, read at your own risk! I am not responsible for you guys. I take no critism btw
Read on AO3 for better formatting + tagging. Enjoy.
This isn’t Spencer´s scene. He knew it, his team knew it, and so did the woman and men who approached him. A successful caught criminal means a night out at a bar, or club in this scenario. Usually he could handle it, the people, the sounds, the overstimulation of his senses.
Sadly, today was a bad day, where everything was just a bit too much. So he excused himself to the restrooms, but he just ended up going through the back door, into an alley. It was dirty, with trash everywhere, but it was better then being inside right now. Spencer planned to be alone, for like 10 minutes to recharge and try again.
But, well, he wasn’t alone. A girl was crouching on the floor. Her arms over her knees, hiding away her face.
“I’m sorry… are you in need of assistance? Are you hurt?” Spencer carefully asked.
The girl lifted her head up, looking right at him with cold eyes. He wishes she was just looking at him, it felt like he was being looked right into. She was unraveling him, simply with her eyes. His soul was laid bare before her.
“…No, sorry if I scared you. I’m just trying to recharge my social battery.” Her hands rubbed over her forehead. She still made no move to get up.
Spencer carefully nodded, a small voice told him if he said the wrong thing, or made the wrong move that she would leave. He doesn’t want her to leave.
“I can relate to that, that’s why I also came out here.” Spencer said, he then tried to casually lean against the wall behind him. Once he came in contact with the wall, he felt it crumble under him. He quickly pulled away and wiped away the dirt from his cardigan.
And even though Spencer hates dirt, and he knows he will have to bleach his clothes and himself once he get’s home, he thinks it’s worth it. Simply because you giggled at him. He looked at you, still on the ground, but your lips were pulled into a grin. He couldn’t help but smile at you back.
“I thought you looked like a smart guy, guess I was wrong.” Your tone was teasing, and the playful insult causes him to blush in embarrassment.
“Yeah, well…Uhmm…Yeah..” And usually Spencer was quick with his words, his brain constantly on overdrive. And he could easily come up with some witty respond. His problem right now? The intense eye contact you guys held. Spencers only salvation was looking away. He took a deep breath and finally spoke,
“Well, actually I have three Phds and an IQ of 187. You tell me if that makes me an smart guy.”
“Three? Dude, how old are you?” You looked at him with big eyes.
“24.” At his answer you looked even more shocked, “Do I look that old?” He tried to tease you.
“No! No, its just I am 26 and I am not even close to three Phds, or an IQ of 187. I’m kind of envying you right now.” You slowly stood up, shaking out your legs.
“I also have eidetic memory.” You looked at him with confusion, “It’s, uh, commonly known as an photographic memory.”
“Now you’re just bragging. But being able to remember everything? That’s something I don’t envy. I love my mind for being able to repress things.”
“It’s true, it’s not always…easy. It’s very practical though in my line of work.” Spencer shifted from one leg to the other. Speaking to people wasn’t his forte, especially ones in his age rage who he was attracted to.
“Oh? What’s your occupation?” You tilted your head slightly to the side, looking him up and down.
“I work for the FBI, in the, uh, Behavioural Analysis Unit.” Spencer cleared his throat, trying to shake off his nervousness. He can talk to serial killers, but one pretty girl leaves him speechless.
“Wow! A doctor and agent? You are really an high achiever.” Spencer laughed slightly at your words, “Yeah, my name is Spencer Reid, by the way.”
You told him your name and stretched out your hands towards him. “Uhm, actually, did you know its safer to kiss then to shake hands? Yeah! It’s because of the-“
“Well, let’s kiss then.” You giggled at his stuttering, and the blush coating his cheeks and ears, “I’m just kidding! Unless..” Tip toeing towards him, you leaned your shoulder against the wall, looking right at Spencers side profile. He turned his head towards you, not wanting to miss a secound of looking at you.
His heart was pounding in his chest, his hands were starting to sweat.
“Can I have your number?” Spencer helplessly blurred out. Hopefully you were as interested in him as he was in you.
“Ah, I don’t think you will actually like me..” You trailed off, but still smiled at him.
“Why? You can’t know that.”
“Hmm, I do know, sadly. I’m not really…a good person, you know? I’m probably on some kind of watchlist.” You looked away from him, your finger was playing around with your lips.
“No way! I don’t believe you.” Spencer tried to convince you otherwise. In his head, he knew that this was a warn sign from you. Either you suffered from low self esteem, were not interested in him and tried to shake him off, or you were telling the truth. Please, be a liar. “What terrible thing did you commit?”
You hummed, your face losing its smile and you spoke in a whisper, “I’m a serial killer.”
Spencer’s blood ran cold at your words, he couldn’t tell if you were joking or not. But his question was quickly answered, because you started laughing, “You should have seen your face! For legal reasons I was joking, obviously.” You bumped your shoulder against his and made your way back to the door. “Bye bye, doctor Reid, you might get my number the next time we meet.” And with that you disappeared inside.
His saving grace was Morgan calling him, asking if he fell down the toilet or something. Spencer hurried back inside, the whole night he didn’t see your face again.
___
You always meet someone twice. Spencer could curse whoever came up with that phrase, but well. He also cursed himself. Wishing to meet the pretty stranger from last week shouldn’t be too much to ask for. But, with his bad luck, it is apparently.
Spencer got what he asked for, he met you again. Sadly, under bad circumstances. While he daydreamed about sitting across from you at a dinner, he didn’t really expect to see you sitting in the interrogation room at the DC police station. While he could see you through the glass, you weren’t able to see him.
Hotch and Gideon stood beside Spencer, looking into the room, studying you, “She won’t crack, she didn’t when she was 16 and she sure won’t now at 26.” Gideon said into the silent room, Hotch nodded his head.
“We still have to try, we have no other choice.” Hotch replied in his usual even tone.
Gideon looked at the file in his hand, he then made his way inside to you. He sat himself across from you and sighed, “Weren’t you supposed to keep out of trouble?”
“…I do.” Your voice was stable, your hand was playing around with your handcuff.
“Yeah? Well, it doesn’t look like that to me.” With that Gideon opened the file and put the pictures of the crime scenes on the table. Only catching a glimpse of the content of the pictures, you turn your head away to the wall. Spencer was able to catch you grimacing.
“Yikes, want me to pass out?”
“There is no blood in those pictures. Take a look at them.”
Slowly, you turned your head back towards Gideon, avoiding looking at the table. With a deep sigh you looked at the pictures, Your brows were furrowed, studying the pictures, or more like trying to, because after a few seconds you started gagging and quickly turned them around, so you didn’t have to see them again.
“What the hell does this have to do with me?”
The pictures weren’t even gruesome, for the standard of the FBI. It were simple corpses, no guts, blood, or even visible bruises.
“Where were you last Tuesday, from 8PM to 11PM?”
“…I was at home?”
“You have any witnesses?”
“Yeah, actually. We have cameras all around and inside the house. My car and phone are also both being constantly tracked. Don’t worry, Jason, I can’t make a step without everyone knowing.” And with that you leaned against your chair, your arms crossed across your chest. You were shutting down.
Gideon noticed this and got up, knowing this was as much as he could get. He joined the other men on the other side of the glass.
The team was depriving with the police department, on what next steps they should take.
“The Heart, known for his obsession with blood. It is actually an unsolved case in the FBI, the Heart was active from 2010 to 2013 and seemingly stopped his killing abruptly. The profile which was established back then was of a white male, in his 20’s to early 30’s, someone who was charismatic and worked in the medical field. What’s really interesting about this case is the time frame, or more like the time in which the kills committed. Usually, serial killers evolve, the time between kills becomes less and less, the need for a high rising. With this one here, the time frame between the kills becomes more, as if the killer is seemingly lost interest.” Spencer rambled on.
“That’s great and all, but what does this have to do with the girl we took into custody? I know her Daddy, and I’m afraid he will come in here raise Hell soon. Do we even have any evidence.” A random police officer called into the room.
“We are aware that our current custodee seems innocent, but we have reasons to believe that she is in fact the Heart killer. We just…weren’t able to prosecute her. This may change now. We can hold someone in custody without evidence for 48 hours, I advise that was use the time wisely.” Aaron said, establishing dominance. The team was aware that the police officers were antsy, convincing them to take you into custody was hard enough.
Their job was just about to become harder, because two men entered the police department.
“Tell me a good reason on why I shouldn’t sue you and your whole bloodline.” One of the men spoke angrily.
“Sir, do you know where your daughter was last Tuesday from 8PM to 11PM?” Gideon calmly asked the upset father, “She claims to have been at home. Can you support that statement?”
“I don’t have to, we have cameras at our hose. We can check right now, if you want to. The video files are uploaded to our cloud.” The father carefully phrased, not wanting to incriminate his daughter any further. He made eye contact with the other man, a lawyer, who nodded his head.
This was a quick process, the video files were send to Garcia and she checked for any kind of manipulation.
“Well, depending on who hears this, it’s either good or bad news. The alibi is waterproof, no! It’s bulletproof. Not even for last Tuesday, but for all the murder times. On the day she wasn’t home, you can easily track her to the campus library, where they have video surveillance. So, yeah, not our guy…gal.”
“Thanks, Garcia.” With that Hotch ended the phone call. He looked at the projection of you in your home in one video, in the next it’s set in the library. He really hoped this would be an easy wrap up.
“What if she has a partner?” Morgan threw into the room, wanting to nothing more then to send you away for life.
“No. She keeps to herself and seems to be introverted.” Hotch answered. “We have no other choice but to let her go. Reid, release her. This doesn’t mean we won’t keep an eye on her, of course.” With these words Hotch left the room, probably sharing the news with the other law enforcement members.
Spencer made his way to you, keys in his hand. He opened the door, and took his time studying you without the glass separating you both. It was the middle of the night, you simply wore a tank top and shorts, sleep wear. Across your legs and arms were countless bruises, some old and some new. Scars lined your skin, some on your neck, those were small and delicate. Others were an your arm, your wrists, your thighs. Of course, the mandatory knee scars from being a kid weren’t missing. And Spencer would nearly miss it, if he wasn’t painfully familiar with them.
Small, circular scars on your arm. Old track marks. They were scarred over and there was no bruising, a good sign.
You didn’t bother looking at who came through the door, your house being raided in the middle of the night kinda ruined your mood. All you want to do is sleep. For once in your life, you were innocent!
Spencer walked towards you, he then carefully unlocked your handcuffs. Looking up, you saw the cute guy from the club. You kinda missed him.
“I didn’t do it.” You quickly said, not knowing what else to do.
“…I know.” Spencer spoke quietly, your alibi saved you. “The, ah, victimology doesn’t fit at all, the Heart killed at random while this one, while using the same killing method, has a specific victim type.”
“Yeah, girls who look like me. Just because I’m squeamish as hell, doesn’t mean I can’t make the obvious connection.”
This is embarrassing for Spencer, because truthfully, he didn’t make the connection. Yet. Maybe he should look for a different career path. Once your hand was free, you massaged your temples. You left the room and walked into the police station, the officers looked uncomfortable. Spencer followed you.
“…It might be a copycat. The killing methods and Victimology suggest that it’s an obsessive fan. Have you noticed anyone following you recently? Or a constant feeling of being watched?” Spencer couldn’t help but ask you, any information is good information. And any attention from you is good attention.
You turned towards Spencer, looking up at him. He could feel the anger radiating off you.
“Or, unpopular opinion, I also didn’t commit the first murders and it’s the true killer returning. Ever thought of that, Phd boy? I was just accused of murder back then! Without any evidence! Why is there no evidence? Because I’m innocent! Just because your fucking senior over there used his what? Magic super powers of reading fucking body language? Get fucked, honestly.” You turned away from Spencer completely, choosing to only look at your father.
“We are…Sorry for the inconvenience, the profile just fit and we didn’t think it through. Life’s are at stake here, and you did commit a murder.” Hotch tried to defuse the tense atmosphere, the team knew that the police officers were very sceptical towards the BAU. This could ruin any relationship and progress they made.
“You call it murder, the Judge and I call it self defense. Agree to disagree, I guess? Or are you salty that you weren’t able to catch the phedophillic serial rapist back then? Sorry that I killed him when he attacked me, next time I will remember to just not defend myself, asshole.”
Your father put a hand on your shoulder, a signal to stop. Your lawyer thankfully didn’t look stressed out, so you didn’t say anything too incriminating. Crossing your hands over your chest, you decided to shut up for the rest of your stay here.
“We would love to help you, Agent. We truly do, but if this is all we would like to leave now.” Your father carefully said. Innocent until proven otherwise.
There is not much Hotch could do, since it was now clear that you were not behind the murders. He nodded his head, “Of course, once again we are sorry for the intrusion.”
With that you once again leave Spencer behind. How inappropriate would it have been to ask you for your number?

I freaking HATE being the "Good smart kid"
I used to love it and be proud
But I HATE it now
Context:
I'm the youngest (and only girl) of four siblings
All my brothers are significantly older than me
Like 5, 10 and 13 years
The thing is they're very booksmart
Key word
BOOKsmart
But they don't apply themselves and even try
2 of them were in gifted and beta but they dropped out and didn't care
1 (who has a genius IQ) ended up doing drugs and stealing and ended up in prison
One knocked 2 girls up (one baby mama being legit cray cray) and is a dead beat to both kids
1 nearly dropped out of highschool and us 19 married to a 28 year old with 3 kids (who only really seems to be there for his paycheck)
Well (minus when I was younger) I am the "good child"
I behave do well and apply myself in school
Just got into gifted and starting out freshman year with all honors classes and in beta
I LOVE learning and stuff
But the pressure is getting to be a LOT
Im known by my classmates for being the smart kid and they only really talk to me and include me for awnsers on stuff
They get mad when I try to just help and guide them instead of flat out giving the awnsers
With my parents I'm their "last hope" cause the other three screwed up
I've always been known as the happy little girl and so I don't like crying in front of them because I don't want to worry them
Especially about stupid like this
And I've always done well in school
SO MUCH SO that when I get any sort of grade below a 90 they ask me "are you ok do you need help"
And it makes me feel like I'm not doing good enough (even though they are objectively GOOD GRADES)
Even if they don't say anything when I see anything below a 90 I feel really dissappin in myself
Yeah those jokes about "Oh I did so bad on a test I got a 88"
Yeah that's me
Then furthermore
I just had to miss 2 weeks of the first weeks of school from surgery
And when I got all my makeup work I just had a breakdown because it was SO MUCH to do
First week of high-school EVER in honors
That's a lot
I had a full on BREAKDOWN cause I was stressed out and I didn't want to miss that much school
My mama got upset with me because I was having a freak out (cause I don't usually act like that)
It's not my parents are bad
Not at all whatsoever and love them so so so much
But I feel like I'm not allowed to mess up or get a bad grade now and again because I've always been known for the smart good happy girl
I feel like I can't stray from that in being afraid of dissappinting them and myself
The bar I set myself is so high cause I want to do something with my life because my brothers just dont
I feel like I need to make up for what they didn't do with the potential they had
I don't want them to be sad when I'm lonely at school cause I have friends (I guess)
But I'm not really included in the planning they do (like homecoming) and I don't want to ask to join cause I don't want to be needy and annoying
I'm sure they'd be fine if I did ask but I don't feel like I know them enough to do thay and I don't want to be weird
And when my mama asked me today if they did include me unlike my other school where I just sat and watched I just told her they dud cause I didn't want her to be sad
I literally don't know what's wrong with me
Ik they don't HAVE to be my friend and include me in everything
Thats why I don't ask
Cause they literally DONT have to
I don't want them to feel obligated to either
Cause I've been on that and of the aisle too
And being stuck around someone you don't like but pretend to tk not hurt their feelings sucks
But at the same time.... I just really miss my best friend
I just want to know why I can never get good friends who include me in things and listen
They're either toxic or I'm the pitty friend
Am I really that annoying
But then when I act "normal" and I'm more quiet I just still....
I feel like they don't like me
I've HEARS some of these girls talk about saying others are annoying thay I thought were friends and didn't want to hurt the others feelings
I always get scared I'm that friend
I'd stay by myself but
I CRAVE companionship
Ik some of you are happy to be on your own
But I'm not that
But I'm starting to think feeling lonely is just my best option at this point
I feel like I don't have anyone to talk to about it
I don't want tk worry my parents
I'm not gonna go around asking my friends "am I annoying"
By bsf lives an hour away
I just... don't know what to do about anything anymore

William j. Moriarty x Fem! Ranpo! Reader Part 1
Again, bsd x yuumori content.
• fukuzawa has asked you to go to london, as the queen has asked for the agency's assistance about the criminals
• or specifically, the lord of crime
• atsushi offers to accompany you, but you decline his offer, saying that you alone is enough to handle the lord of crime.
• the truth is you don't want anyone from the agency except dazai to meet him. You can tell that this lord of crime is smarter than dazai, only a little bit.
• maybe his iq is 210? (based on reddit)
• you, of course, have the higher iq, which is 215 (google)
• you don't want your family to get manipulated now, do you?
• atsushi assists you until you reach the train, and then you're alone.
• and guess what? The train you're in is chaos.
• a murder occurs and you can't help but get involved.
• when two people, who you figure as William James Moriarty (you know that it's not his real name) and Sherlock Holmes are investigating the crime scene, you nonchalantly join them.
• you tell lestrade that you're a detective from japan so he gives you permission to investigate too.
• the moment you enter the crime scene, the two people don't notice you.
• until you speak up.
"You two," you call out, and two pairs of eyes look at you. "Solve this case in 60 seconds."
Sherlock is flabbergasted and immediately protests. "Wha- who are you?! And how can we solve this case in a minute?!" He exclaims.
"40 seconds left."
You ignore his protest, making him frustrated. The blonde, William, immediately accepts your challenge.
Why? Because he simply finds it amusing.
He tries to get all the clues and connects all the dots. But his adrenaline is rushing through his blood, and he finds himself failing to get the conclusion.
"Time's up!"
You clap your hands twice. "Is this all you can do, Sherlock Holmes?" You ask, sighing in disappointment. "What is that supposed to mean?! How about you try to solve it in a minute yourself?!"
You smirk, "Challenge accepted." You walk closer to the corpse and stare at him silently, and Sherlock wonders how you can find clues with your eyes closed.
He smirks, already confident that you can't solve the case as fast as a minute.
However, after a good 30 seconds of observing, you snap your fingers.
"I already get the answer," you open your eyes, revealing your beautiful, breathtaking emerald orbs. Lestrade immediately asks you to tell them.
"This man is a jeweler from London, Trevor Redwood." You mutter as you glance at Sherlock who is currently holding the identity card of the victim. "Am I right, Holmes?"
The way he grits his teeth proves you are correct.
"The culprit tried to drug the victim to sleep to rob him, but failed so he stabbed him with a knife." You continue as you turn to the blonde noble. "Can you pass me the glass and the bottle of whiskey?"
He obliques and passes you the things you ask for. You thank him and sniff the glass, and smile. "There is a faint smell of chloral hydrate in the glass. It mixed with the whiskey, and became a powerful sedative."
Lestrade takes the glass and sniffs it himself. "So the culprit tried to drug the victim and commit robbery?" You nod your head, "Correct. This murder is definitely an uncalled one."
"Can you elaborate on it, miss y/n?" Lestrade asks urgently.
You smile, "There is no way for the culprit to have planned to kill the victim in the train because he can't escape afterwards. So when he tried to rob him, the victim woke up, and the culprit had no choice but to kill him. He panicked, and tried to stop the bleeding. But with his nervous state, he obviously failed."
You open your eyes again, an unknown glint shimmers in your emerald orbs. "This is a crime scene where the culprit's confusion gave away everything." You finish.
"Then... how do we find the culprit?" Lestrade asks as you smirk at him. "Gather all the crew members,"
• as lestrade gathers all the crew members, you, william and sherlock go to an empty car of the train to make it easy to interrogate the culprit. They also ask for the crew members' list name and pictures.
• that is when he talks to you.
"Nice to meet you, miss," he reaches out his hand which you take it, assuming that he wants to shake your hand. But when he brings your hand to his lips, you are dumbfounded. "My name is William James Moriarty."
"She already knows it," Sherlock mutters as he sighs. "I can't believe I lost to a woman..." he groans, making you smirk. "Try to believe it then."
You then turn to the blonde in front of you as you take your hand from his hold. "I'm Y/n Edogawa, the world's greatest detective." You say smugly.
Sherlock scoffs, "Hah. As if." You snap your head at him. "What was that, Sherly?" He widens his eyes at the nickname.
"Don't call me that!"
"Why, your brother calls you that!" You giggle amusedly.
William's scarlet eyes have a glint of interest as he observes you, which doesn't go unnoticed by you, of course.
"Miss y/n!" Lestrade approaches you, along with the crew members. "I've gathered them."
You smile at him softly. "Thank you." You look at each face of the crew members, but then you plop yourself on the cushion of the sofa in the train.
"Now, both of you, try to figure out who the culprit is." You say nonchalantly.
And they both did. Lestrade is in awe, seeing how you manage to order Sherlock and a noble around.
"Those who wear 8-inch shoe size, step forward!" Sherlock exclaims, and two men step out as they are called. "Now.. we'll take a look at your gloves, one by one."
You whistle at his confidence as you watch them. Lestrade checks the gloves of a crew member and finds nothing before going to the other. He holds the guy with glasses' hands, and feels his sleeves are wet.
"...! Sir, show me your hand." He commands.
The car attendant hesitantly shows his hands, and they widen their eyes. "Wha-!" Lestrade gasps.
"Bingo!" Sherlock exclaims as he steps forward. "Car attendant Eddie Hawthorne, you're the culprit!"
Murmurs and whispers of the crew members fill the silence as Hawthorne screams,
"You're wrong!!" You frown at the male. "This blood is.. this is...w-wounds!" He exclaims.
Lestrade narrows his eyes, "Wounds, you say? Take off your gloves, then." And he did.
There is indeed blood on his palms. But you won't sit still.
"How foolish," you sigh as you stand up and approach him. You grab his hand and take his wet glove, before rubbing it against his palm.
Your actions make him panic even more.
After you rub enough, the blood disappears and his palm is revealed to be unharmed.
"You're talking to the greatest detective in the world, brat. Think twice before you trick us."
Hawthorne grits his teeth before pushing you harshly. You gasp and brace yourself for the impact but you feel no pain. Instead, a pair of arms wrap around your small figure.
Sherlock captures Hawthorne as Lestrade immediately puts handcuffs on his wrists, successfully catching him.
You look up to see a pair of scarlet eyes staring into your emerald ones. William holds you tightly against his chest, as saves you from the pain of falling.
"..." you awkwardly release yourself from his arms before mumbling a thank you. Then you complain, "How dare he push me like that! Who does he think he is?!" You whine childishly. "Gee, I need some sweets."
You hear William chuckles as he looks down to your height. "If you want, I can bring you to shops to buy sweets. It's a sign of our gratitude for helping us solve this case." He offers as he looks at his brother. "My brother, Louis is also talented in making desserts. If you'd like, you can visit our manor,"
You stare at him for a while before looking away. "Thanks for the offer, but I'm not a fan of pastries. I only like sweets, such as candies and chocolates." You decline his offer.
"Then-"
"No need to bother yourself. Plus, I have a friend waiting for me." You mutter as he nods his head. "...too bad, then."
After reaching your station, you, William and Louis get off the train. You bid them farewell before William stops you.
"Are we going to meet again?" Considering you are from japan, it is less likely you will get the chance to see each other again, William thinks.
You take out the lollipop from your mouth as you smile at him, your eyes slowly open to look at him.
"We'll surely meet again," you say as the train moves again, a very loud honk sound drowns your voice as you reveal his identity.
"...Lord of crime."
You're pretty sure he almost can hear it, as his eyes widen. But then you smile at him and pat his shoulder twice before walking away.
Now you need to wait for dazai to come.

About the Kaito keeping his secret ID through Refuge In Audacity do you think Conan stuck with his first guess that KID was younger than 20 or later dismissed it as KID wearing a mask? (Ik this isn't relevant to the kuroba sitcom but I had Ditto in the brain haha)
I personally hc that he logicked it away as "he can't be THAT young, learning all those skills he has would take time" and then Kaito TOLD HIM his mom was Phantom Lady who did crazy gymnastics so she couldn't have been very old and dissappeared a scant 20 years ago and Conan went "welp"
Ik that Hakuba figured KID's age through DNA and then compared to highschool databases across the country, but first that's not how DNA tests work, the length that tells how old someone is changes from person to person, and second, I'm not familiar w Japanese laws regarding privacy and DNA databases but I'm fairly sure that what Hakuba did was like. Super illegal. Probably why Hakuba hauled ass back to London after that case actually, I bet he only got away with it bc nepotism (IT'S SURE ILLEGAL IN THE UK)
I still rlly want to know if Hakuba sat KID down w an optometrist board and an IQ test though, HOW did he get that data. Like I bet Toichi and Chikage never even got Kaito tested bc they thought it funnier to keep people guessing just HOW smart he was, plus Kaito wanted to share class with Aoko and Nakamori wanted her to be in a class where she could make friends her age, and that was the end of the topic
(oh man this ended up long, MY BAD)
first of all, omg im honored, tysm for reading ditto :D <3
GREAT QUESTION I think conan kept it in mind, but became less sure of himself over time. conan/shinichi has a pretty skewed idea of what kids are capable of doing, and I think he knows this about himself, so it’s reasonable for him to think “...nah, it would be insane if a high schooler was doing all this… right?” and if he was basing his original age guess off of what he could see of kid’s face and body shape, well, he learned very quickly that kid can change any of those traits at any time. who’s to say that kid wasn’t wearing makeup/a mask/anything else that might change his silhouette? …left to his own devices for long enough, conan can become a victim of his own overthinking, lol.
aaaand then kaito dropped the Phantom Lady tidbit. that, if anything, seemed to me like a peace offering of some kind? possibly meant to even the playing field between them? as always, it’s hard to tell what shinichi and kaito actually Know in canon, though I’m of course personally a fan of them knowing the least amount of information possible while still being as intelligent as we know they are. because shenanigans >:D
if we want to have fun with it ;) , I think the phantom lady reveal only narrows down kid’s age to,,,,, younger than 30? ish? it mostly gives conan an upper limit, since he doesn’t know whether kid was born before or after her retirement, and she easily could’ve retired in her early 30s. what it Does confirm is that this kid isn’t the original one, but that only narrows his identity down to “probably a protege of kid #1.” from there, the biggest bit of provable evidence against kaito is that his father died right when the original kid disappeared, but that’s still a pretty big logic leap to make when you aren’t around kaito all the time (like hakuba is). and toichi had students, too! who knows who else he taught besides yukiko and sharon? who is more likely to be kaitou kid: an undercover protege of toichi’s, or his teenage son who has an alibi for multiple heists?
best I can tell from some brief research, in Japan, DNA collection isn’t regulated for law enforcement, but hakuba isn’t law enforcement, he’s a consultant at best. I think other DNA tests for ppl age 16+ require consent of the person, and 16 or younger require the consent of a parent. hakuba has NEITHER. hakuba was saved from being a juvenile criminal by nepotism and the fact that nakamori laughed in his face instead of charging him with obstruction of justice or something. and yeah, that’s Absolutely Not How DNA Tests Work adjfksjdj
FR THO!! now I’m imagining hakuba chasing kid through a museum yelling “WHAT NUMBER LOGICALLY FOLLOWS THE SERIES ACCORDING TO THE GIVEN PATTERN” while kid answers with, like, extremely confused perfect accuracy. “400 iq” honestly sounds more like something hakuba made up to explain the fact that kid could answer the iq test questions while rappelling down a skyscraper lol. and I totally agree, kaito’s probably never been officially tested—it’s important for kids to be with their peers, especially when you’re already likely to have child prodigy syndrome. also because kaito and aoko get along so well, they would run the risk of never making other friends (cough shinichi cough). plus, the kurobas probably like to avoid official records as much as possible, and scoring even in the 160+ range would gather attention that their family of internationally-wanted criminals does Not need
#without Specific Situations happening to them kaito and shinichi have very little context for each other’s lives#hakuba is a hilarious character. kaito takes refuge in audacity but audacity really is hakuba’s downfall#ditto posting#kuroba family sitcom#dcmk#dc#mk#schrasks#magic kaito

Do you think Law would be more into men or women as a sex partner? Or both? 🤔
First, a warning: this post will answer multiple asks at the same time! Mostly because I partially answered those questions elsewhere and because of that my answers are shorter than usual, so I decided to group them together. Now let's get to the first question <3
I think Law would like boys. He just seems to like to hang out with males, his crew kinda reflects that, 19 males, 1 female. But at the same time, I feel like he doesn't care about genders all that much, at least considering canon material, he doesn't really treat girls in any special way, be it patronizing or especially protective. All the way back in Dressrosa he put Robin in his Caesar's exchange team (which, mind you, was the team that did the most risky operation!). So it's possible he actually doesn't care about gender all that much at the end of the day. He would be totally fine with Yamato (Yamabro <3) too.
Simple answer is: he just gives me the gay vibes. He seems to naturally gravitate towards other males, like Luffy, Zoro, Penguin and Shachi, even Usopp and Sanji (he did enjoy being carried by Sanji, didn't he?). Meanwhile he seems to have only approached Robin and Nami in canon, and it was always about business then lol. I would usually think it's because he's respectfully keeping his distance from females because of his traditional upbringing, if not for the fact he didn't care that he put Robin (so, a woman) in most dangerous group in his plan. I would usually elaborate more on the topic, but I literally miss source material for that: Law just doesn't interact much with females at all. Let's also keep in mind he blatantly refused Monett's flirting as well lol. It doesn't have to mean anything, but it definitely could.
Of course the answer I'm giving here completely dismisses the possibility that his lack of interest or avoidance of females simply stems from his amber lead syndrome. But that's also a fair possibility!
Hi anon! I answered this one already :D I will copy-paste it for your convenience!
One could consider that intellectual attraction would be a big thing to Law, if not for two things: his crew doesn't seem to be the smartest, and Luffy also is not, yet we all know he likes to hang out with both. So I guess he doesn't mind it that much and intellect isn't the most important factor to him when being attracted. Unless you consider him being intellectually attracted to Luffy, because Luffy is good at reading emotions, but you know, I think Law himself wouldn't agree to call it "intellectual attraction", haha.
So I guess my answer would be "no", because it doesn't seem to matter so much to Law. He doesn't seem to gravitate towards smart people, but he clearly gravitates towards cheerful people instead, no matter their IQ levels. And I think the same applies to his possible dating partners. The most important thing is that he can protect and pamper them and relate to them emotionally, so intelligence would be just an extra bonus imo. Of course when it comes to plans and alliances, smart allies would be probably better, but then Law made an alliance with Luffy while fully aware how crazy and carefree he is, so that again proves the point I'm making here.
Also Law is just modest, so he doesn't think of himself as some sort of genius that has to date only some other genius to feel satisfied with the relationship. In fact, he's often impressed with Luffy despite Luffy not being the smartest.
I mean, is he a workaholic? I guess in AU modern settings in which he's a surgeon he would be, because in reality many doctors are workaholics by default. But in canon? When does he give that vibe? When he's lazying around on the deck of Polar Tang? When he falls asleep on Sunny despite the fact he should have kept watch for Doflamingo and his men before they approached Dressrosa? Or maybe in Wano, because in the very first scene we see of him it's Law just lazying around in some abandoned, destroyed roadside shrine-like building? Yeah, no, he isn't overworking himself, he has his people for that, meanwhile he will just lie around and think over stuff. His hobby of wandering also doesn't give any "workaholic" vibe if his idea of spending free time is just bumming around without any specific aim or goal.
He is an overworrier, that's for sure. But that doesn't neccessarily make him a workaholic. He even tries to discard samurais request to help organize the Onigashima raid's plan after the traitor had been exposed, that's not exactly something a workaholic would do, right? In Law's novel it was actually Wolf who had to teach Law some responsibility for his crew, for example, because Law was acting sly about that. It also took him weeks to actually do anything else than just stay home and enjoy daily life back then too. He's definitely not a workaholic by nature. He is big on discipline and can study hard, I will give you that though. We see that when he studies medicine like a top student with his father in the flashback, we see his dedication as well when he trains and studies with Doflamingo's Family and later also on his own. But this still doesn't make him a workaholic to me. I think exactly because he's smart he doesn't have to be a workaholic to get his work done, because it simply takes him less time to get the same result.
Now that this part is out of the way, let's do the second part of the question. Would sex relax him after he's busy or studying hard? Well... I would say, it depends. I imagine that after a hard training, or lots of studying, or just dealing with overall chaos that Heart Pirates or Strawhats are, he would instead prefer some peace and quiet. I do not think sex is a purely relaxing experience, unless you expect your partner to do everything for you. Sex actually requires some work done to be good, lol. It's not just happy endorphins, body doing motions on it's own, and we're done. What about emotional connection? That needs work, vulnerability, opening up. In Law's case, that's a lot of work, especially if he's dealing with a trauma (and he is, all the time). At the end of the day he would probably choose to get rid of the tension on his own, it would be faster, more effective, doesn't require extra work or processing a trauma. And that would be probably his choice after a day that was very busy/tiring for him. After all, you don't want to add more stress on top of stress to deal with it, right? That's very counterproductive and would end up with a result of even more tired Law. Not even endorphins would be enough to sooth him afterwards, lol. He would simply just collapse.
But in all honesty, I think reading Sora's comics would do much more for relaxation. Or drawing, for example some ideas for clothes customization, he seems to really enjoy doing that.
I assume you mean in canon story? He wouldn't even engage in an activity that would result in a child, because that child would probably not survive till age of 10. I covered that in my answer to this ask: https://www.tumblr.com/l-in-the-light/759927365045485568/ Those girls would have to literally put him in seastone cuffs and force themselves on him for that situation to happen. He's a responsible adult, no matter how reckless he can sometimes get. That also means no drunk sex, because dubious consent.
I also don't believe he would be into one night stands, because he's a complete emotional wreck that has trouble emotionally engaging with people, and also because I believe he's actually more into commited relationships than flings (which means no Robin or Ikkaku situation, unless they're The Love of his life on Cora-san's level). If you want to read more about the reasons why I think he just wouldn't be into one night stands, here's the link (there's a whole section marked with a headline dedicated to that): https://www.tumblr.com/l-in-the-light/759545339455930368
I will be very honest here, I don't like the idea that a handsome guy just has to get macho sex with any female that he meets on his way, just because he's the male and they are the female. I also think it's extremely disrespectful to have occassional flings with your own crew, no matter the gender, because you can't escape the forced power dynamics there. Who would actually say "no" to their captain if it can result in being kicked out of their literal home that is Heart Pirates crew and the submarine? This is noncon territory right here. Do you really like to imagine Law this way, because I don't. I'm pretty sure he has the rule of "no romance on the crew".
But let's consider this scenario: Law loves Robin and she's literally the love of his life. Robin wants a baby. Since they're both responsible and mature people, they would talk about it and before doing anything in that regard, they would reach the conclusion that having a baby is probably not the smartest decision here. Imagine loving a child for 10 years only to live every single day knowing your beloved child won't live up to their 11th birthday. You want that trauma, would you choose that trauma for yourself? Knowing exactly that would be the result? And if for some stupid reason Law did get it on with Robin and that resulted in unplanned pregnancy, would you really dedicate 10 years of your life to this? What will you tell your child then if they start to have dreams for their future, thinking they want to become this or that, only to crush them all down by telling them "sorry, you won't live that long, it was the result of our selfish decision". I mean this is all levels of fucked up imo.
Now, the final scenario. We disregard the Amber Lead Syndrome, it never happened, Law is completely fine. His love life doesn't change, he still would engage himself only with The Love of his life. If that resulted in planned or unplanned pregnancy it wouldn't matter, of course he would want to be a father. Even if mentally he wouldn't be ready he would play it cool and try to be responsible and step up, even if he would lack confidence himself. He would pamper his partner to a disgusting degree to show his support (not in sweet words though, he still hates overly emotional things and reactions) and since he's a doctor he would be probably pretty good at this. This is totally an AU territory here though and I admit I'm not so interested in that.
Hi! Glad you enjoy my posts! I kinda already answered those questions before, I will leave you here with the link!
Here's the answer to whether I think Law would enjoy sex without being in love: https://www.tumblr.com/l-in-the-light/759545339455930368 short version: no, I think he would want the deep emotional connection he can get only from commited relationship. Since he wouldn't get it out of a fling, because he's too emotionally withdrawn with people he doesn't know well (actually, even with his close ones he is kinda withdrawn), all he would get is lots of physical closeness which might not even make him feel all that comfortable (let's not forget about his touch trauma after all!). I elaborate on the reasons in that link, especially in the beginning of the answer!
I will instead expand here on the only exception I can think of (but please keep in mind that I consider him aroace or at least ace). I suppose he could be open to queer type of relationships, which could mean "sex with a friend". But it would look like that only from the outsider's perspective. Because for Law that would be The Relationship of his life, equal to a romantic one for people who aren't queer. So, it wouldn't be casual and it would be actually very commited setup there, just outside the box. I mean, come on, this guy is super passionate even if he doesn't show it outwardly much, you really think occassional fling would be even close to satisfying for him?
Not to mention the obvious problem here: he's not very open even to his own friends (be it physically or emotionally). This guy is a lot of work when it comes to emotional attachment. He literally has only few people he even told about Cora-san, that being Bepo, Penguin, Shachi and Luffy. Would he "get it on" with any of them then? I think not, unless he decides this is The Relationship on the same level of commitment he had to Cora-san, at the very least. But yeah, those are your potential targets in the "sex with friends" department, no others on the horizon for now! Also it wouldn't be an easy fling, this guy is traumatized and *it will* get in the way of any sex he could attempt to have, which means he would probably not be getting any at the end of the day, simple as that.
As for the last part of your question: I think he is more of a giver than receiver. He would definitely spoil his significant other to no end, no matter if it's about dating, friendships or sex. Pampering someone who is dear to him is very important to him, because he lost so many people he cared about and he craves to show his care in some way and to have someone to care for. Unless he eventually just clams up due to his trauma, which is as likely. The trauma is exactly the reason why his love would be so overwhelming.
That being said he probably wouldn't mind to be on receiving end and get spoiled as well, because he likes equality in human relations (I mean actual human relations, not just him ordering strangers around!). He needs to feel loved and to give love back, but… surprisingly I think he would also be alright if his love is one-sided and if he would never try to "go for it". And that's why ultimately I think he sways to be the "giver" more than "receiver". But it's pretty damn close at the end of the day, because he is really love starved, isn't he?
Thank you, anon! This ask made my day <3 without you, your enthusiasm, and other lovely people like you enjoying reading my insights, I wouldn't even start sharing them. Many of my posts are actually inspired by all the positive energy I received here, many of you have given me a lot of ideas, in one way or another, thanks to your reblog tags, asks etc. So believe me, the gratefulness is definitely mutual :D

About my Criminal Minds DR
Full name: Gagak (Yes, that's it. I was born in Java, Indonesia, in this DR)
My nicknames: Corvid/ae/ (most of the team), Raden Mas (most of the world), Bird boy (Luke), The Crow (film fans)
My faceclaim: LØREN
Gender identity: Cis-male
Orientation: Demi-romantic/sexual
Age upon first shift: 20
More about me and changes I made below the cut <3
My style:
I wasn't going to have this kind of style, as evidenced by my previous post about this DR, but I read through one (1!) fanfiction series about cowboy!reader x Criminal Minds yesterday and… Also, for some reason, black, red, and white were thee colors when I was making the wardrobe section on this Pinterest board? I blame my top #6 video game characters: Ash (King of Fighters), Iori (KOF), Rock (also, KOF), Shadow (Sonic), Skarlet (MK), and Vice (KOF, again). Ahaha, guess what my favorite video game is 🤔 Anyway, RDR2 outfit pic creds to user @/kaddishaun on Pinterest!
Fun facts about me and my life:
Youngest FBI informant a month after moving to the US (subsequently also a month after I turned 10), I'm sort of replacing White Boy Rick in a sense, but without the bad ending and horrible father figure.
Officially joined the FBI at age 11 once I got dual citizenship for the US and Indonesia (yes, I know that's not possible in this reality).
IQ of 304 because I'm an attention whore 😀.
Tallest person ever, as per usual, "only" 9'3 this time, though.
Youngest person to graduate high school, age five at SMA Taruna Nusantara
Youngest person to ever graduate college, age six, via an accelerated course thanks to a 127-page dissertation on serial killers that earned me my first PhD, one in Criminal Justice, at the University of Indonesia.
Besides my first PhD, I have twelve others, one in Chemistry, another in Computer and Information Sciences, then Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, Pharmacology, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, and Statistics.
Took the CTY entry exam, after it was mailed to me, and aced it, but they originally said I would have to move to Maryland, which I simply refused to do, so I almost turned it down before my parents mailed them a letter back asking if I could do dual enrollment and they'd, as rich people, pay for the transport of my schoolwork to and from our estate in Java, and it was not a surprise when the school board agreed.
When I first opened my eyes in the emergency room, my dad was holding me, and he was wearing a jade necklace, one long enough for me to reach out and grab—I did so, though, my grip wasn't very strong. As such, my mother suggested I be named after the jewel, but my grandfather, who recently visited Banggai, suggested the name Gagak, meaning crow, and my parents liked that better.
I spoke for the first time at 4 weeks and four days, simply said the word "shiny," and grabbed at my great aunt's pearl earring. This further reinforced for my family that my name was meant to be.
It's rude to call an Indonesian person by their full first name, so most have nicknames, and, my first name being what it is, my nickname wasn't hard for Spencer the team to think up.
Unit chief of the BAU since Hotch and Jack went into Witness Protection
I can speak, write, and comprehend all 700+ languages used in Indonesia.
I can read 30,000 words per minute and write 15,000.
Autodidact with an eidetic memory.
I played Eric Draven in the 1994 action fantasy film, The Crow (I will go on to play the same role in the 2024 remake)
From ages 14-19, I was the lead singer and backup guitarist in a faceless V-Kei trio called Birds Dig Us under the stage name, Rook, and we were actually the number one boy band at the time 😭. We haven't released music since 2001, but we didn't break up either [Insider info: things are cooking].
My other bandmates were Miyavi (Dué le Quartz, Skin, The Last Rockstars) on guitar and backup vocals, stage name Tsubasa, and Kai (the GazettE) on drums, stage name Torrio, by the way.
Also, Birds Dig Us made all the songs for The Crow's soundtrack.
I have a southern accent because, after moving to the US and before joining the BAU, I lived in Texas.
Reid's autism and mine feed off of one another, if you couldn't tell…
Some other things I changed:
I scripted that Austin the Bartender, Beth Clemmons, Elle Greenaway, Jason Gideon, Jordan Todd, Kevin Lynch, Maeve Donovan, Maxine Brenner, Stephen Walker, and Tyler Green don't exist, as well as that Aaron Hotchner, Alex Blake, Derek Morgan, and Kate Callahan never leave the BAU (for good, at least).
After Scratch dies, Hotch comes back to the BAU, but I keep my new position as unit chief, and Hotch just becomes a regular member of the team.
Reid and I both get actual diagnoses 😓
It takes longer for the team to go through the motions of Rossi's past because it felt far too quickly done in canon for me. Rearranged a bunch of episodes in the timeline for this and other reasons.
Morgan has lessened trust issues.
JJ didn't emotionally cheat on Will, her fucking baby daddy, because what the fuck was that??
Also, Haley and Hotch were less toxic because WOAH and Strauss and Rossi aren't hunching.
To sum things up: As of now, the BAU consists of its legal expert and former Unit Chief, Aaron Hotchner; Alex Blake, a linguist who assists with nuances in communication; David Rossi, one of the first BAU agents and a specialist in hostage negotiation; Derek Morgan, an ex-Chicago policeman with proficiency in obsessional crimes and explosives; Emily Prentiss, a master at child advocacy and counter-terrorism; Jennifer Jareau, the communications liaison and a standard profiler; John Blackwolf, a standard profiler; Kate Callahan, an experienced undercover agent; Luke Alvez, an adept fugitive tracker; Matt Simmons, a skilled profiler from the FBI International Response Team; Penelope Garcia, the technical analyst; Spencer Reid, an elite geographic profiler and chirography analyst; Tara Lewis, a forensic psychologist; and myself, the squad's current Unit Chief and sex crime expert.
PS: My voice claim is Corpse Husband because when given the choice to become my ideal self, why wouldn't I? Before anyone comes at me, I did use to have GERD! I didn't script myself having any disorders I don't or didn't have in this reality.

Not a hot take, a general question
What are levels that most hate that you enjoy, and levels that most enjoy that you hate? :>
Sorry this took a few days, but I've been trying to stick with examples that are near-unanimously loved or hated rather than being simply divisive. I also excluded examples of the "this game in general has weird physics, etc" variety… with one exception that won't surprise you.
I Give It a Gex/10:
Marble - The level design is blocky, though I can forgive that more than most since it was the first game, but the aesthetic is really unique for a lava stage, let alone the first one in the series.
Labyrinth - This one is cheating because I'm mainly including it for various mods that have given it a serious glow up, such as the Mania Misfits Pack. As such, I can't bring myself to hate the original, because I always think of those versions now.
Sky Base - Autoscrolling doesn't work so well for Sonic, but conceptually it's a climactic zone.
Wacky Workbench - Growing up is when you realise it's not a tragedy, but a comedy. Whereas other people jeer at it, I jeer with it. Also, the Good Future is beautiful, and so is the Past.
Marble Garden - Slightly downplayed since few outright hate it, but it's often considered the weakest zone in S3&K. I don't know how this can be, given the music, the spinning tops, the boss encounter with Tails helping you out, and the gratuitous pools of Pepsi.
Sandopolis - Act 1 is perfectly fine in my book, and I will not sit here while fans continue to slander it. Act 2 may involve a lot of stopping and waiting, but even so, I find it less tedious than other examples.
Egg Rocket - I really love the concept here, and while it kicked my shit in as a young'un, I don't think it's that bad as an adult.
Mania's Oil Ocean - I saw frequent complaints about why they included this zone, to which I say "Did you forget about the Fire Shield? Did you forget about the remixes?"
This Is Like Underselling Eggman At Crusher's House:
Prison hallway levels in SA2 - Overly cramped grey hallways are not particularly fun. And before someone points out the small graphical details, yes, those are nice and all, but ultimately they can't change how I feel about these stages overall. While I'm not keen on the mech shooting in SA2 in general, the other stages at least give you some room to breathe.
Lost Impact - I feel like this one stage has received the '06 treatment where it was once hated, but is now hailed as a 2deep4u masterpiece because of vibes and interpretation. This is not the case with me. I don't care what your intention is, I don't care what infinite IQ stunt you're pulling with your method of gameplay and story integration: if it's not fun, you've lost me. "But Crusher, this is perfect because it compliments the context of the story, it makes you feel just like Shadow in his situation, muh deep layers would be lost if it was actually enjoyable-" Call me basic, but if the only way you can paint a narrative is by making it shite, I don't think I can trust you with anything. And remember, this is Sonic the Hedgehog, not some indie RPG that most people watch other people's playthroughs of rather than play it themselves.
'06 Crisis City - Generic dilapidated city is not too interesting, despite the tornado carrying a car's best efforts. The Generations version is thankfully salvaged by having fun level design, even if it's the same aesthetically.
All the islands in Frontiers - The Cyber Space stages don't count since they're just Non-Specific Highway and reused Generations assets. Otherwise… well, as you might have guessed by now, bland atmosphere is my Kryptonite. I can put up with some questionable design choices if it's at least memorable in other areas, as that can soften the blow for me to an extent, but if it can't even provide the latter, it makes the former so much more excruciating for me. Needless to say, I do not have much nice things to say about Grass Simulator, Sand Simulator, Rock Simulator, Grass Simulator 2: The Return of Jafar, or Grass Simulator 3: This Is Why Eggman's In Mario Land Now.

okay
just now realising the elevator situation in the CCT doesn't make much sense
see in Ozpin's office, we see there are two elevators along the back wall (using IQ screenshots for some of these but they're 1:1 with how it is in the main show)
and this makes sense with the communications area that students are allowed to use
two elevators along the back, windows along the sides (which, side note, does not make much sense with the outside of the tower that we see, which mostly has small windows if any, and none that fan out like this - unless this is directly below Ozpin's office maybe), but yeah, so far so good
then you get to the ground floor
only the one set of elevator doors, no idea what the door on the right leads to, but yeah you can see the key issue, there's only one elevator when there should be two
best i can figure the maybe explanation for this is that the ground level elevator only goes up so far and then you have to switch to the two parallel ones to get further up the building - which going back through these scenes does seem to be the case
when Cinder is in Ozpin's office, the lefthand elevator is left open, which is strange because there's no reason for that to be the case
and we saw Cinder flying through the other elevator with her maiden powers, but there's no indication she forced the elevator doors open that Pyrrha's about to come through
and the elevator Pyrrha arrives in is completely undamaged compared to the one Cinder broke through
so mystery raised and solved i guess, good job me
#RWBY#this /would/ explain why Weiss interacted with the CCT AI the one time she was in this and then it was never seen again#because we were looking at other elevators#which means Pyrrha had to go through /two/ awkward elevator rides with Oz's lollypop guild
