Funnily enough this outfit does not fit the main style trope my friends often give me: sexy librarian. Sometimes I want to look like a forest gremlin who crawled out of a redwood. Sometimes I love a vampy indies sleaze vibe. Sometimes I want to look a sunflower personified. 98% of the time you’ll find me in a mini skirt or little dress. “My skirt is vintage Y’s Yohji Yamamoto, shoes are Onitsuka Tiger and bag is 90s Banana Republic. Sunglasses are Rudy Project cycling glasses, originally bought them for bike rides but I ended up using them more in the city. Wearing two necklaces, a silver chain by Third Reasons and a pearl necklace by Tachibana Zakaten. The pieces I wear the most are things I’ve bought on impulse from racks on the street or by walking into a store in person – every time I wear these pieces I remember the romance and story of finding a gem. Most of my outfits are built around those pieces, and I just pair my usual tried and true basics with those.”
