so, i didn’t end up posting anything for spirk day (or very much at all recently), and that's because i was celebrating an anniversary of my own! it's very ironic, since the reason i met my partner, who y’all know as @cursedtrekedits, was because of this blog, the fight sarek soc discord server, and star trek itself :)

here’s a few pics of us from over a year ago (official cursedtrekedits face reveal ig 😌), before we got together, when we decided to go on a vaguely star trek themed vacation. we had no real good reason to do so, and i can never be thankful enough we did!!

i want to give a big thank you to spock and kirk homoerotically rolling around in the sand 57 years ago, or else there's no way we would have ever met. they bring so much joy, love, and absolutely terrible puns to my life, and i adore every minute of it. i will always be so happy that this silly lil space show gave me such a blessing :)

Since I live in Toronto and my rewatch of HANNIBAL has ignited a Fannibal fire within me I'm visiting some of the shooting locations. So far I've been to the ext for

*Francis Dollarhyde's house (Hamilton)

*Dr. Lecter's Office Baltimore (Toronto)

*Hannibal's House (Toronto)

Definitely going to go to more spots. Unfortunately the beautiful house that was used as Will Graham's home in Wolftrap was torn down due to real estate development in Pickering Ont where the house was located. A beautiful property lost to the greed of Ontario developers is not uncommon here, a sad turn of events for the family who were forced to vacate the property.

I hear awhile ago tj & amal was getting licensed for a movie. Is that still a thing? Any news you could share?

There was the very earliest stages of movie licensing talk back before the pandemic, but it fell through as these things often do. I still hope it gets picked up; it could be done on a low budget!

As a teacher I use a lot of Google Slides presentations. I start each day with a morning slide. The morning slide always has some kind of themed background - more entertainment for me than anything. Two days ago I was looking for information on Scotland (no idea why!). I typed "Scotland" into my Google search. Clicked on images and the above picture was one of the first ones to come up! Connected to an article about the top 10 tourist sites in Scotland.

Recognize it? It's Crowley's Laneway from S2! I honestly did a double take and wondered where the Bentley was!
