This was really fun to do and I probably wouldn't have done it without this event so thank you to the lcf discord!!

Guys, I just had a very crack thought: LCF fic that is a Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale AU, except Og!Cale is Barbie and Arm is the rival copycat boutique.

This means:

—Since og!Cale is basically Barbie, instead of being famous he was infamous. He was really good at his job (if you haven't seen the movie, in this one Barbie was an actress who got in an argument with the director, which ends with her fired), but he had a really bad reputation so everyone thought he's a bad person with talent. He still has fans because he's iconic and has amazing acting skills, but no one is surprised when he gets fired and so.

—This is a modern AU and Og!Cale has his own acting career, therefore there isn't a big succession trouble (for him to solve) like in canon. He just said he was going to be an actor and the head of the company trainment went to the only child who wasn't too opposed to the position: Bassen.

—Where does his bad reputation come from then? He pissed off someone, who decided to ruin his reputation in an attempt to make him miserable, but he just thought this was funny and convenient, so he let it be. "I can insult so many people like this" Insult = being rude but honest.

—Kent can be either Alberu or Kim Rok Soo. I prefer Alberu, but having Rok Soo go through a comedy of errors because he accidentally broke up with his bf is equally funny. In the other side, making a basically modern prince travel in the most low budget and gradually worst ways (because he couldn't get a first class flight fast enough) to recover him is fantastic of Cale's part.

—Aunt Millicent is Olienne because he's his godfather here.

I'm going to go back at this later but I want breakfast first.

Secondary characters need more love! o(>< )o (Part 3: Olienne)

Olienne is a character we all know but only because he was important to one of the protagonists.

Although their relationship is not delved into, the mere fact that Eruhaben was detained and had a time of mourning after discovering his death says it all (ಡ‸ಡ)

For a dragon that has lived 1000 years he should be used to death, but Olienne was different.

I like the idea that the two of them were close friends, not enough for it to be a Queerplatonic relationship but enough for them to leave traces on each other (*^^*)♡

(In fact, that's because I saw an interpretation like that in a fanfic and I loved it! Him being an otaku is an idea I had never seen before and I loved it.)

We don't know much about him in canon, but what we do know is that he was cheeky, he liked sculptures (he probably made them himself) and long baths, it took him fifteen years to be born and his attribute is wood, and it can be assumed that He was good at creating barriers.

I feel like he could have been used in a better way, his character is incredible and needs more depth but he could have complemented the family very well °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

Perhaps over time he and Eruhaben could have improved their relationship, becoming a romantic or queerplatonic couple who would adopt Cale and Rosalyn as his children (o´∀`o)

Why Rosalyn? Because I feel that if Olienne is as shameless as Eruhaben says, seeing that he took Rosa as her apprentice, he could contribute and over time they would develop a fairly healthy father-daughter relationship ♡＼(￣▽￣)／♡

Besides, during the battle of the jungle vs the empire he could have helped Cale make the trees collect the dead mana or even shoot down the airship.

And without mentioning Apitoyu, I haven't read beyond chapter 1042 at the time of writing this post but Olienne's participation in the war against the purple blood dragons and the church of the holy empire already has me salivating with anticipation ☆ｏ(＞＜；)○

Do Dragons mate? How?

(most of these are unserious answers I brainrotted with @zorlovinghue this morning but I wouldn't be that surprised if one of them turned out to be correct)

This is completely based on part 1 knowledge. It IS mostly brainrot, you have been warned.

First theory: they don't.

-> they impregnate themselves

-> it's possible this might apply to all genders

Second theory: praying mantises

-> after mating, the female Dragons eat the male Dragons

It's unlikely they're cannibals but I can somewhat see them killing off their mates xdd

Third theory: Dragon lifespans

-> Dragons have long lifespans compared to other beings but mate only once

-> the male Dragons simply die once 'their job is done'

-> it could naturally be the end of male Dragons lifespan, they die once they mate so they do so at their last moments (?)

-> the reason for Eruhaben living so long would be that he never mated (is a virgin)

-> it would also explain why we only see the Mothers of the eggs with no mentions of Fathers

-> also possible reason why there's only so few older dragons (apart from Arm getting rid of most)

Fourth theory: dominant dragons

-> for Dragons, since they're shape shifters and not many are born (you need to wait quite a bit for some eggs to hatch too), it would also make sense in case they do mate that the gender is not as important as who's 'dominant'

-> Dragons, apart from their genders, would also be categorized by 'more dominant' or 'less dominant' compared to each other

-> kinda like omegaverse (with or without the scent part)

-> I can't see Mila as anything but dominant though the same I can't say for Eruhaben... So I would say, compared to him she's 'more dominant' but compared to someone else she might be 'less dominant'

-> it could be that, after mating, not dominant Dragons become more vulnerable

As for Olienne, what if he actually died to an Arm ambush because he just mated? (I doubt bro would but still-)

What if all male dragons are easy preys that way?

And what if Arm targeted female dragons after they lays eggs for the same reason?

It's always pretty weird to think how many dragons Arm killed since they supposed to be the strongest existences on Nameless 1 and if someone has an attribute like Rasheel what can you even do about that... unless he mates... Pfftt

Fifth theory: absent fathers

-> Dragons are said and shown to be protective of their youths, despite that, we have only seen two parents: Sheritt and Mila

-> Dragons are also very prideful, it could be that Dragons have only one mate and if the mate dies first then the other would not mate again.

It would explain how sparsely seen dragons are.

-> Eruhaben has helped multiple younger Dragons get through their growth phases. He protected them since that is when they're most vulnerable

When else are they be most vulnerable tho? When they're still inside an egg.

-> here, the Dragon fathers would stay around either until the deed is done/egg is layed or up until the eggs hatch

-> after that they disappear and leave it up to the mother to deal with

Sixth theory: magic

-> the eggs could be made by a form of magic

-> this might or might not require actually mating

Alright, now would be a good time to mention these are just ideas and for funsies

7-TOTCF

An Au where little Og Cale liked to go on adventures alone and somehow got inside a part of the Forest of Darkness and met a dragon.

At first the dragon simply glared at Cale and told him to go away but Cale was stubborn so he visited the dragon as often as he could and slowly the dragon started welcoming Cale and grow close to him.

Who is the dragon that Cale met? It can be who the bone dragon was before dying, Olienne or a random dragon(not one of the others because they wouldn't really make sense to be there...well maybe Rasheel would).

There is two ways this idea can go:

First one- Cale still starts his act as trash but when everyone thinks he is out drinking he is actually visiting the dragon but a few months before Cale meets Choi Han, the dragon informs Cale he needs to go on a trip so Cale shouldn't come to their meeting place. Unfortunately the dragon is found by ARM and killed so things end up following TBOAH canon and later TCF canon except that when KRS!Cale go to the Forest of Darkness with the Whales they meet the spirit of the dragon that Cale befriend(who would recognize that KRS!Cale is not Og Cale). Anything else would be up to the writer including if the dragon and Og Cale ever met again.

Second one- Cale loses Jour(he meets the dragon before she dies) and when Deruth basically abandones him, Cale believes he wasn't loved by his father and runs away without the Molan duo noticing. He grabs everything he knows he needs to survive plus a few objects that important to him or connect him to Jour and goes to the dragon. You can guess the dragon isn't happy when he is told about why Cale run away but he still welcomes him and protects him from the creatures of the forest. As the years pass, the dragon notices that he and Cale formed a bond that hasn't been heard of in more then 2000 years which is the bond of a dragon and his rider. The dragon starts training Cale has if any kingdom finds out about him being a rider and their bond they would try to take him and manipulate him. Cale doesn't stay always in the forest, he has the dragon disguise him and travels to different places but keeps away from the Rain City so he ends up hearing about the Alliance plans to attack Rain City and while he does not have a relationship with anyone there, he still cherishes the city and most of their people so he talks with the dragon and they decided to save the Henituse territory. Anything else would be up to the writer but I had the idea that the dragon would stay in his dragon form most of the time and the first time he would take his human form would be when the fight in the Henituse territory ends and Deruth plus others approach Cale to question where he had been all this time, how did he meet a dragon and all that.

Eruhaben x Olienne (Sunflower) Headcanons

Olienne acts like a child only in front of Eruhaben.Eruhaben likes it when Olienne acts spoiled.

Olienne enjoys being held by Eruhaben. It makes him feel more relaxed, he says.

Eruhaben likes leaving hickeys. Even though Olienne doesn't like them.

Eruhaben likes going with Olienne into human towns to buy the groceries even though they could just warp it home.

Olienne gives Eruhaben kisses on the cheek whenever he sees him or wants to show affection. Eruhaben loves this.

They both braid each other’s hair, or simply try different hairstyles on each other.

Olienne’s clothes and appearance are all inspired from Eruhaben’s elf form.

Whenever Eruhaben travels to the Eastern Continent, even if he’s terribly busy, he never forgets to stop over at Olienne’s place at least once.

They like bathing together, and wash each other’s hair since both of their hair is on the long side, Olienne’s being shorter.

They meet at least thrice in 50 years. And their stays last at least a year or two.

Olienne always writes cheesy love letters to Eruhaben whenever he wants to inform him of his visit.

Olienne’s favorite color is pale yellow, and Eruhaben’s favorite color is olive.

 Eruhaben and Olienne brew and own wine collections. They both are wine connoisseurs and both compare the tastes by drinking each other and giving reviews.

Whenever they sleep Eruhaben uses a separate blanket since he knows that Olienne takes the entire blanket in his sleep.

Olienne gets panic attacks in the middle of the night when he thinks about Eruhaben dying. This is the only time he hugs Eruhaben and digs his head in his partner’s arms.

Eruhaben has never shown Olienne any of his weaknesses since he fears that Olienne would no longer rely on him if he did. Olienne however, notices all of Eruhaben’s thoughts and never allows Eruhaben to feel powerless.

When they eat, they take turns on who’s cooking. Sometimes they even warp each other warm food so that they have a little company, since dragons are beings known to be lonely.

Olienne helps Eruhaben take care of the dragons going through their first growth phase, and always makes sure to take some time out and visit Eruhaben during that time.

Whenever either one of them is sick, the other always brings the same chicken soup for the other. 

Olienne confessed by giving Eruhaben a Gloxinia flower (love at first sight) and Eruhaben answered by giving Olienne an Ambrosia flower(mutual love). Now whenever Olienne sees Eruhaben he always gives him an Ambrosia flower, which leaves  Eruhaben flustered.

Eruhaben has a single olive ornament amongst the hordes of gold in his lair. Similarly, Olienne has a single completely gold ornament that he cherishes.

When he was still young, Eruhaben learnt the entire flower language just to impress Olienne.

They mostly prefer staying at each other’s caves instead of going anywhere else, since they want to enjoy the limited time they have with each other.

I think we know why he became a decent kid in the face of past Eruhaben.

Cale could not say anything. He could tell why Eruhaben had been angry.

A portion of the dead Dragon’s body was dug into with the heart at the center.

It was fitting to say that someone had eaten him, well, someone had taken a few bites out of him, as the heart and the surrounding flesh were gone.

Eruhaben did not share any more of his past memories as he started to walk.

I know that I was not the only one who was excited for them to have another dragon tag along to their group. Raon could have had another gramps which he would have named 'GREENIE GRAMPS!' I just sometimes think about this and my heart still aches for this character that was killed without giving it a chance in the story.

I mean who wouldn't want more Tsundere Dragons in TCF?

I was passing through, when I stumbled onto this. Cale. And the seven dragons. My mind went IMMEDIATELY to TCF, because there is Cale. And dragons. Then I had to start counting to make sure that I wasn't seeing things.

Raon, Eruhaben, Olienne, Dodori, Mila, Rasheel, Sherritt, the dead red dragon, I think that's it? Wait, there's a Half-Blood.

So technically, this is Cale, the Eight Dragons, and a Half-Blood.

Then I had to count again. And what do you know, there are seven named dragons, one unnamed one, and a Half-Blood.

My mind is very close to screaming. And adding onto that note, we need more dragons.

Cale and the twenty-three dragons! Dragons!!!
