okay so. like. wan ed 12. dazai is stopped by a log in the river and starts actually drowning. funny haha wan bit.
but repeating something ive said (hi haven) i think this is actually a really good example for how ada dazai doesn't really want to kill himself. he could've actually drowned here. thats his 'goal' right? but the moment it starts happening he's trying to get his head back above water.

"I thought I was dead"
hilariously wet and horrified or not he obviously didn't want to die here. theres nobody around to hear what he said anymore anyway. and that's why, despite being yk... a wan ending animation? i still think this is such like. a case in point.

Starting work on a new painting. This one is a photo I took of my producer eric performing at the last show I went to. It's going to be a surprise but he doesn't use tumblr so I can post here!
I started it yesterday, just blocking out the shapes in yellow and orange using the grid lines for reference. Today I made a plan of what colors I wanted he painting to have by exploring them with my oil pastels. Next step will be to paint the drawings colors over my orange base I made.
This was a new methodology for me, using oil pastel to plan my paintings colors in a more loose quick way that I can't achieve with paint. I hope it translates effectively to the painting but we will have to see.

In my continuing quest to wring meaning from the filler bits of Bleach anime episode #32, why are there 55 gallon oil drums in Inuzuri?
The obvious explanation is that the Seireitei ships its nuclear forbidden-kidou waste products out there, which also explains why there are so many carts.

Tennessee to Kentucky to Indianapolis & Back
If any of you enjoy DCI (Drum Core International - Competitive field show), go check out the Worlds that are held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Totally worth a few late nights out on the town.

I got this really sick yellow ammunition box from an antique store for $30 and I'm so excited to see if I can make it into a letterbox. It's so interesting looking and I wonder if the posties won't just chuck the mail on the lawn because it doesn't have a letter slit, you'd have to open it up, or if someone's just gonna nick it. But the price was such a steal I wouldn't even be mad.

This is an old track of mine that has remained unreleased for many years until now. I made this with FL Studio back in mid 2011. The single is called "Coming Home" and is an original track of mine. This remix made by me is also the 2nd track off of the Single. The artwork is an early oil-pastel painting by me as a younger adolescent. Genres are a fusion of Acid House, Techno, Dubstep, EDM, Breakbeat and IDM. I no longer use this alias. Unfortunately one of the synths somehow came out a little too loud due to a rendering error which I am going to have to try to fix when I master this. Hope ya like it!

hc + 👎 dallas !
hc + 👎 for a headcanon about things they dislike
... i mean, what DOESN'T dallas dislike?
i think it would be redundant to talk about what he doesn't like for that reason, so i'll treat you to a headcanon about the feelings and experiences that drive that general dislike and hatred of almost everything in the world.
dallas sort of grew up as someone who wasn't really trusted with much and was generally considered the black sheep of his family because of his hard time reading sentences properly or understanding the functions of the family business. as such, his father often impressed into him an attitude like "no one will ever want you", something he internalized deeply and still feels now.
but he's not really a take-things-lying-down sort of person, so he ended up at a place that was like, "nobody has to like me, but i'm going to hate all of them back. i'll hate everyone but eve."
thematic headcanons. / accepting.
