What we have here is a classic breakfast combo from the #ghettoChef there was ab early struggle in choosing cooking oil vs butter. The butter put up a great fight but lost in the first round as the crisco bottle was much taller and intimidating. 😬 We chose a basic "add water only" mix cause well bros ain't have no milk. The pancake batter was whipped until there were no lumps but no so thin as to make them paper thin pannycakes. All while six mild sausage patties were selected to swim in the cast iron skillet. As the pancakes firmed up they were flipped "only once" so as not to disturb the golden brown top side. Why the bottom never look like the top? We dont know and we dont show. 🤣🤦����‍♂️in the second round that CountryCrock Butta took the win, landing not so gracefully on top of them Once Flipped Pancakes. At the last minute a single egg got into a fight with a bad frying pan and almost ended up scrambled. I mean who messed up my frying pans using metal utensils and now I cant even fry an egg without it sticking [insert my kids names here]🤦🏾‍♂️🤭 I managed to not scramble it but has to wait until it was way over cooked but I bet it still got on that plate. We had some Aunt Jamima syrup who didn't want to be shown due to recent strikes and lawsuits. But I'll be a rats uncle if I let society tell me what syrup to use. 🤣🤣🤣 any of yous can feel free to buy and ship me whatever syrup or pancake mix you want me to try. There is too much love on this plate to be negative. some of this stuff has been open a little while but I haven’t yet talked much about them, some of this stuff is about to be opened, and some have just been opened…. so let’s sit down and talk through them, hopefully I don’t make anyone mad lol

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum: unopened, I know some people say it’s fairly basic but the minis that I tried my skin absolutely adored and it’s cheaper than my current hydration + niacinamide combo so I’m giving her a proper go

Drunk Elephant Sili Body Lotion: bought this on my never ending hunt for lotions I can wear to bed and not be stuck to the sheets, this one is a beautiful contender, however the packaging makes me wanna cry - this is not disabled hands friendly, the plastic is on the harder end of squishable (and it’s actively hurting my hands to get product out)

Cipher Skincare Shorties - the potion*, night shift, beam me up, c-shield: first two are unopened (and yes night shift isn’t new to me), I’m enjoying c-shield but unsure if I want to spend its full price in order to understand its full potential for my skin (ya know vit c results can take a little while), and I had a couple false starts with applying beam me up so it didn’t pill (I think I’ll wait till it’s an empty before I discuss more).. overall thoughts loading

Good Molecules Vitamin C Booster Powder: will be my next vitamin c product, am excited to get into it as I’ve not tried a powder ascorbic acid before!

Good Molecules Silicone-Free Priming Moisturiser: ma’am... I love you 🥺 two days into using this and I already want to buy more 😂 will likely do a review as it’s very likely this will indeed end up being my regular daytime moisturiser

Paula’s Choice Omega+ Complex Eye Cream: I’ve really enjoyed both eye products I’ve tried so far from Paula’s Choice so I’m real keen to finally open this, hopefully it will be as good under makeup as the anti-aging eye cream 🤞🏼

Revolution Skincare Mattify Boost Niacinamide Mattifying Cream*: um, nope 😂on paper this doesn’t immediately ring alarm bells but damn I really don’t like it irl, smells funny, makes my skin dry-matte (like my skin feels stripped?) and pills around the edges of the applied area

Victoria Health Garden of Wisdom Neurophroline Serum: marketed for stressed skin (which all my skin is lmao) but unfortunately I’m coming to the conclusion it’s just not hydrating enough by itself if, like me, you struggle a lot with dehydration

The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm: took a few tries to get the method of use right and feel like I could enjoy this but now I have I really do like this, will discuss further when I update my cleanser collection (in a few months probably)

Mecca Cosmetica Weekend Skin Hydra Skin Tint in Ivory: listen this product is reminding me why I gave up makeup, I feel like I shouldn’t have to be great at makeup AND use less than the recommended amount of sunscreen to get this to blend nicely……. does makeup hate me or am I really just that bad at putting on foundation type products? also the shade range sucks and I don’t have a shade match (which definitely exacerbates the blending issue) (also this is the lightest shade and it’s too orange on me, and I’m not the palest person I know)

Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer in Butta Biscuit: baby girl don’t know wtf she’s doing enough to use powder makeup that much so this was calling my name, loving the colour on me so far and it blends really nicely so heart eyes

Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Amber: I have never used contour before but that’s what this shade is supposed to be for light skin tones, I’m going to have to come back to my thoughts because I’ll be honest I’m still working out wtf I’m doing with it 😂 the colour is good for my skin tone though so yay!

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Weightless Mask*: a freebie from Mecca, I don’t often see hair masks without silicones so this is staying on my bathroom shelf while I decide if I want to challenge the fragrance gods

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Nude Cream: I’m going to be dead honest, I have conspiracy feelings about this, it smells amazing but doesn’t have added fragrance, and while I’m not sure which ingredient/s are giving it that scent…. I think it might be irritating me slightly, I use this on my arms where I have quite gnarly keratosis pilaris and when I switched from this to the Drunk Elephant lotion just because I have no patience and I wanted to, my arms stopped visibly flaring in the evenings (like hives but without the raised skin), somebody please help me understand what makes this smell nice because idk wtf is going on

Fluff Casual Cosmetics Lip Oil in Clear: opened but not yet used, my current lip-serum-type-situation is lastly way way longer than I expected, I generally don’t find this kind of product enough on its own so stay tuned for updates

Flo Travel Nasal Spray: listen sometimes the skin inside my nose bugs me more than the skin on my face so imma talk about nose skincare too, this stuff (which features the ingredient carrageenan) is honestly no better than regular saline…. NEXT
