Idk what these lads look like and I'm not looking it up because I REFUSE to be spoiled. I just based John (Jon?) off of that one drawing of him with the fisher price tape recorder my buddy sent me. Martin just looks like that to me. I usually always draw the spirals in eyes but in my head he has black eyes like a shark :> (Martin they could never make me hate you). I got past the episode where the police lady said John and Tim have scars? So I added them. Rip worms on the face. They're not in the "Martin are you a ghost" thing cuz I guess him and Tim got them in their fight out of the catacombs when they were separated from Martin? Idk I'm not going to look at anything till I finish cuz I wanna go through one thing without being spoiled for once

i didn't exactly binge the magnus archives at first (listened from august 2022 to february 2023..) but now i'm hooked. now i know how many possibilities there are for these blorbos. now my head is full of thoughts and i need to know what is going to happen!!!!!!

Where is Jon getting the money to travel around, was he not just living with Georgie because he had nowhere else to go???? Don’t got too much to say on this statement.

EP 106: A Matter Of Perspective

Melanie Statement!!! Oh?? There’s that one guy who was isolated and saw a spacesuit outside. OMG MELANIE AND BASIRA!! I love them they’re such cute friends. HELP??? MARTIN IS JEALOUS??? THEY’RE DISCUSSING MARTIN AND JON???? I’m losing it lmaoooo. JON AND GEORGIE DATED??????????? ALSO ASEXUAL JON????? Okay actually that actually makes a lot of sense. I love these little moments so much I wish we got them more (even though this is a horror..) A performance review?? What the hell lmao??????? This whole last bit is so ridiculous I love this. Ivy Meadows??? WHAT THE HELL?? THIS WAS RIDICULOUS AND SILLY??? Melanie nooooo :( They give me silly and then remind me that it's a horror :'( NUMBER ONE ELIAS HATER!!!

Jon being a little investigator is so fun. Shoutout to the magus archives for showing how untrustworthy cops can be. I can't tell if Jon is spiraling again or if he's actually being followed. What is this guy's luck, why does he keep getting beat up and kidnapped oh my godddd. Julia!! Trevor??? What is going on?? Actually losing it?????

EP 108: Monologue

MARTIN!!!!! As someone who does high school theatre and is in no way experienced or professional, this guy sounds insufferable. Is the audience really that bad if they're not doing anything? Martin "Don't come any closer I've got a knife" Blackwood is my favorite character, what is that knife doing against a weird creepy entity?? "Do I scare you Marti-" "Yes." LMAO??? LESS MURDER IS A GOOD OBSERVATION?? S3 is definitely my favorite season.

EP 109: Nightfall

Oh this is a very big callout. Help I love Julia and Trevor's little interactions as they tell their statement: Guess we're past vampires now. Is Elias the only thing listening in or is it more? Maybe the distortion too since it's radio?

Thinking about Martin conflating asexuality and aromantism and being perfectly content in his unrequited feelings for Jon, he knows he never had a chance, it’s not him it’s just that Jon doesn’t want that from anyone.

Thinking about him learning in season three that Georgie is Jon’s ex-girlfriend and being so confused because he didn’t think Jon really? Dated? At all?

Thinking about him actually getting up the guts to talk to Jon about it, to say “hey, I think I’ve misunderstood something here, if it’s not too personal a question to ask could you explain to me what asexuality really means because I think I’ve got entirely the wrong end of the stick.”

Thinking about him listening to Jon’s explanation and having a minor existential crises as he realizes holy shit, I think I’m asexual too.

TMA time travel AU where 21st century librarian Martin goes back in time and meets 19th century researcher Jon. I have no idea what the plot would be, the sole reasoning behind this is that with the way language has changed over the years you could have this scene:

Jon, scribbling furiously in his research notebook: There is something very peculiar about this man who claims to be from the future, this so-called 'time traveler;' he is a very queer phenomenon.

Martin, reading over his shoulder: I sure am!
