what are your favourite roleplaying themes?

Honestly? Romance maybe, with adventure being the main focus. I want the couple I’m invested in to venture around the world, have enemies, and have allies. I want them to bond and go through trials and tribulations. I want character development to come out of those experiences.

The same goes for friendship and family relationships too. I want plots, I want stories. I want to create a timeline of events. Random threads are cool but they’re not always my favorite/preference if they don’t have an end goal which is why sometimes you’ll see me ignite a plot in a random thread to keep the momentum.

This is to say I guess I don’t really have any favorite roleplaying themes because if we click really well, I’m going to want to plot storylines, bring in canon characters as needed (I don’t mind writing them on the side), as well as other ocs to make the world around our muses to feel alive.

My devotion once captured is consuming. All I need is a partner that matches it. If you ship (friend/family/or romantic) with me, there will be storylines. How deep they go depends on us. I want to tell stories. I want angst, happiness, loss, etc.

being a female oc in the rpc (dare i say, ANY rpc) is still hard, and i dont care how people say it's gotten better or whatever. it definitely has, but it's still a task.

i will never be a lady character in any rpc because i still have the negative experiences of writing women oc's.

but i will always give female oc's love, because they're interesting and i do genuinely love them. i still hold a resentment for how i was treated eons ago and i'm still really suspicious and jaded of the community because of my own experiences and i hold a lot of disdain i'm still not ready to let go of.

The last… Calamity?

Oh, on that day Aisling had pains all morning. A pressure in her head mounting- clattering nerves making her hands unsteady. It was her birthday.

And when the sky turned dark and red, suddenly that pressure burst. This was what she had been anticipating all day- what her body had been readying itself for.

Pharos Siris was struck by the great wyrm Bahamut and something Woke within Aisling. It was on that day that her Echo came alive- and Hydaelyn became one voice among many, clamoring for her attention.

Aisling misses her old coastline. The corrupted crystals that pierce through the lighthouse unsettle her. She finds it ironic that it can still ‘serve its purpose’- the orange crystals burn just as bright as Pharos Siris ever did…

She doesn’t like it, though. It… it’s so…

Sometimes, words fail her when she looks at what the Calamity did to La Noscea, to Aleport, Eorzea.

In the Calamity, she lost people. Ships caught in the sea as pieces of Dalamud crashed, friends stationed in the lighthouse or at Cartenau. Though the event Woke her, she can’t help but wish it never… it never would’ve happened. Destiny is… a greedy thing.
