a bark of laughter escaped from angel at delaina's confession, already sensing that the two of them would get on just fine. "it's alright. i'm a raging homosexual. we'll just have to pretend, yeah?" and it shouldn't be too hard. angel was an affectionate person, very touchy feely and already they're draping an effortless arm around the blonde's shoulder, "just let me know if anything's making you too uncomfortable. if it helps, i'm non-binary which means that i'm not 100% a man." though they doubted that'd be very helpful. angel gave a nonchalant nod toward the person standing in the corner, "it's the dude with the farmer's tan."

For a split moment (that seemingly drags on for an eternity), Delaina's as useful as a deer caught in headlights, processing the sudden onslaught of information. Her face brightens regardless, a laugh building in her throat at the sheer irony. "Yeah," she agrees. "Sure thing. Although, gotta warn you now — if I'm the worst cover ever, blame the raging lesbian vibes. You asked for it," Delaina adds with a wink. She takes a step closer to them, within a closer earshot that doesn't require them to strategize at the loudest decibel possible. "Where's the dude I'm helping you ward off?"
