Basically i think George isn’t super into costumes so the idea has to be reasonably low-key if you want to convince him. this one was perfect bc it really only involved wrestling the boy into a lab coat and attacking his hair with some extra strength hold gel (win win bc you get to have your hands in his hair and he gets to have your hands in his hair 😌) but the effect was still very much there. meanwhile you’re stuck hot glueing pipe cleaners and pom-poms to an umbrella to make a spaghetti and meatballs twister reference prop so your costume isn’t just a blue cardigan lol. george is very nice about the ugly ass homemade prop that you end up throwing in a skip after three drinks :3

Karl:

Ashitaka and San - Princess Mononoke

Karl would basically be down for any Ghibli duo but this is the one i can see him pulling off (as much as i would die to see him in a howl pendragon wig). You guys would put together the costumes yourself (couples crafts 😍) and they come out so cuuuute. I don’t normally include photos but these are the exact vibes i’m envisioning:

Cosmo and Wanda - Fairly OddParents

Iconic and easy to pull off with some simple colour coding. you get those spray cans of non-permanent hair dye from like claire’s and get it all over your dang hands help each other apply it. you also paint each other’s nails and you make little gold crowns and wands with stars on the end. actually adorable vibes by the time you’re done. highly instagrammable and you keep a polaroid of the two of you in costume in your phone case 🥺

also i think he’d wanna go as sword art online characters maybe? but i haven’t played it so

Lightning McQueen and Sally Carrera - Cars

ffsjfkdlfhb somehow he convinced you. i don’t know how. but now your face is smeared with blue face paint and Q has lightning bolts on his cheeks and the whole thing is so unbelievably cursed. it’s smudged before you even leave the house from the tears of laughter streaming down your faces, and you’re both just collapsed on the bathroom floor struggling to catch your breath and starting back up laughing every time you look at the other’s face

ok but fr can we talk about how painful vinny’s face looks? i don’t mean it in a mean or funny way, it just genuinely looks painful. maybe it’s not painful at rest, but when he’s eating or makes a facial expression it looks like it’d hurt. the scar tissue looks really tight, if that makes sense, so i’d imagine it be hard to use the facial muscles

but eating/chewing is what i really think would be a major struggle. so imagine being his loving s/o and making accommodations to his food so he can eat less painful. giving him snacks like jell-o, applesauce, pudding, basically things where he doesn’t really have to chew. or when you make things that would def require chewing, like meat or somethin, you cut the pieces smaller. or maybe making him smoothies? that way he won’t have to open his jaw much at all

just basically doing anything to make it easier for him

I've always thought the same, I couldn't help but think his scarring must have hurt him. Watching it stretch and morph with his facial movements made me flinch at the sight, his muscles just looked so red and irritated.

Just moving his eyes seemed to strain him, I don't even want to imagine how much chewing does to him. I'd imagine this is why he chooses a life of silence; he's not in pain when he's quiet.

Since we're talking about him too, I definitely believe Bo did his own little things to make it easier on his brother. He'd try to make the meat melt in your mouth, he'd tell Vincent to cut his meat smaller before snatching the knife from him to do it himself if Vincent refused, playing it up to be an inconvenience but it really isn't to him. He cares about Vincent, even if they've got their issues. Vincent tries to hide his struggle, but Bo grew up with him. He can't hide the pain from him.

He can hide it from you, and he will probably try to hide it, but you're not blind. Once you finally see his face, it's a logical assumption; he's in pain.

He hates to feel like an inconvenience, he doesn't like making people do things for him, but that's not to say he's un-appreciative. His heart is fluttering just because he knows you're thinking about him. He always offers to share his snacks with you too ❤️

Once Bo and you start reassuring him that he isn't invoncencing you with his needs, it becomes easier for him to accept the help. He might even try to jump in the kitchen with you as you're making smoothies.

A/N: okok so this is my first blurb/scenario post,, sorry if its a little messy but i tried my best to keep it organized to each member!!

all my friends and i are talking about prom right now, and thinking about it so much now only made me want to write about a magical night with day6!!

i think simplicity would suit sungjin the most out of anything, but that definitely doesn’t mean he can’t clean up well… i mean have you seen him sheeeeesh. but all in all, he’d wear a suit and tie (and tbh i really think his flowy, brown, middle parted hair would look so dreamy for a prom) ((i can really see him wearing a deep navy color with silver or gray accents)), and leave it to you to steal the show with a beautiful fit and flare dress (maybe a baby blue to compliment his navy suit!!), a stunning makeup look, and flowing hair to match it. as soon as he saw you i KNOW he’d literally lose his breath and just… deadass stare for a solid 3 minutes before snapping back to reality and just sputtering out how beautiful he thinks you look… wow he would literally be so whipped and affectionate towards you, calling you his angel… ouch my heart  yea so ik we joke ab it but sungjin is such a dad when it comes to dances like prom . gggggh  he doesn't quite like dancing so you kept him company throughout (people watching, talking, singing along to random songs, walking over to the dance circle to see jae and brian being literal asshats-) but oh heavens to betsy,, he would so pull you so so close, hold the small of your back, sway with you and sing sweetly to you when there was a slow dance. he would get so shy about it after tho ghdfgh prom would really highlight how masculine and genuinely chivalrous he is ...owie😔✊

tbh jae screams a classic hollywood beauty style. he would want to be in a black tux with a red rose to accent it, letting you wear a black dress (tbh any shape but maybe a halter or a-line top), red heels, bombshell curls and a striking yet classy red lip to coordinate it all perfectly. golden accents for sure, him with an 😤iCy GoLdEn WaTcH😤 and you with a golden nameplate necklace of either jae’s or your name (prolly his name bc . let’s face it, he’s lowkey about it, but hehehe he’s possessive and what better night to showcase that you’re his than tonight???) he would be showering you in compliments all night and keeping his hand locked with yours to show everyone what real beauty is (its you btw . you literally can't forget it bc he's constantly telling you so). okok he danced sO MUCH OH  MY GOFD ?? jae really is jyp’s #1 freestyler i-  yall got in the circle and did the stupidest crap, eventually you were too shy for it but jae was brave and TORE IT UP W YOUNGHYUN OKAY what a legend . but fr when things slowed down, he would let you rest your head on his shoulder or your forehead on his chin and he would make sure to press lots of little, soft, meaningful kisses to your forehead or cheek any chance he got. he wanted to take care of you all night and make sure the night was special and fun for you in every way possible

(tbh any style would make his jaw DROP sis i KNOW) wonpil would sing every song with you and act up occasionally but would probably let you do most of the dancing bc he knew you had fun with it he was just scared to look like a complete fuckhead like jae and younghyun but… ok tea but wonpil really would like to dance in a silly way with you, like holding hands and just grooving along, he loved spending time without a care with you, it felt like the real world would melt away. slow dances would maybe take him a bit of courage initially because .. gaddam u just looked so pretty and he wasn’t sure how to go about it all, but once you showed comfort in slow dancing with him, it all melted away again, back to a lovely and romantic night

sweet little maknae dowoonie ohghdfgh he would wear a traditional suit and tie (which sounds simple in and of itself but ... good lord he looks mature dressed up like this and you really fell even harder for him showing a charming and handsome side that night), letting you steal the show with a majestic ballgown!! he would tell you all night how you looked like a real life princess, he was so honestly starstruck. he isn’t one for dancing, but seeing how happy it made you, he would do it all night long. with that being said, he was really shy to begin with, but seeing how you let go and laughed as you danced with him, he did too. and u mmm m uhh slow dancing was new territory to him .. like entirely new fghffg but because being so close to you made him a little nervous, he was sure to spin, lift and dip you every once and a while :’) at first you were surprised bc .. he did it all with such control, it surprised you, but you really enjoyed it, it felt like a real ball!! and he was sure to flirtatiously say “its only fitting for a princess” when you’d comment on it (where did this charm come from. im not mad i just wanna talk) he was also so conscious of how long your dress was, and helped you as you walked around greeting your friends, he was making sure you would never lose your footing or have someone accidentally step on your dress (heaven forbid his princess be inconvenienced in the slightest on her special night) and at the end of it all, you pressed a small kiss to his cheek and watched as the color rushed to his face, but he just chuckled and let a little confidence take him and he put his arm around you, holding you close to him :’))) hhgfh so so f t i love

BTS IN SYDNEY: MY EXPERIENCE

This is overdue but I desperately need to write about to get it out of my system. So on Friday, 26th May 2017, I went to my first ever concert, and a BTS concert at that (my second favorite kpop boy group). I was looking forward to that day for the longest time, because they FINALLY come to your country (and you’re there!), and getting to experience the rush of purchasing tickets, watching all their videos again and just listening to their songs non-stop up till their concert day.  I went with 2 friends from uni and all 3 of us got VIP seating tickets. (this was how the staged looked from where we were sitting: pic below). 

This might? get a lil cringy and long winded so bear with me or don’t read it lmao. SO LET ME CUT TO THE CHASE:

It was supposed to start at 7 but lights didn’t go out till 7:15. So prior to that there were projectors playing all their music videos and when time drew close to 7pm, all of us started singing along to the songs being played and cheering when we saw our biases on screen. Fast forward 10 mins later, lights dimmed, crowd was losing their shits and the CURTAIN FALLS REVEALING BTS (HOLY FUCKING SHIT). And they started off with Not Today which was absolutely LIT. Ok believe it or not but I fucking cried. I know it sounds ridiculous af but I was feeling really emotional lol. Just imagine seeing your favourite group right in front of your eyes and finally being convinced that this, THIS is REAL. They are real and they are performing LIVE. After years of watching kpop groups through my computer screen and countless fancams of them, they are there in flesh and blood. This isn’t a dream anymore. And what’s even greater is that you’re in a place filled with like-minded people and all of you share the same love and affection for these boys. It’s surreal. Just recalling the memory right now is giving me goosebumps omg. After they performed their first song they did their member introductions which was beyond cute I stg. I couldn’t record those because I was still shaking from all the excitement lmao. I did record after that tho, but I didn’t wanna focus too much on recording and losing out, I wanted to live in the moment. So I only recorded when I was sitting down or when slower/ less hyped songs were being played.

Now I’m going to talk about the members. Min Yoongi holy fucking shit man I still can’t believe I saw him tbh. If yall didn’t know Suga and Jhope are my BTS biases lmao (tho Suga a lil bit more). AND HE’S SO SMOL I FEEL SO SOFT. His solo stage JESUS CHRIST it was emotional af. Before he came out they were playing his VCR on the projector and the whole arena chanted “Min Yoongi” till he came out. That itself had me ShoOKed to the core. Needless to say I screamed like shit every time it was his part lmao. I stg my 2 other friends weren’t even as hyped as I was, in fact this Korean girl on my right was as turnt as me omg. Anyway, Cypher was groundbreaking. Fucking legendary. Rap line was slaying so so hard. ALSO HE THREW A SWEATY TOWEL TOWARDS THE MOSH PIT I STG WHOEVER GOT THAT IS THE LUCKIEST HUMAN BEING ON EARTH RN. When he spoke English I was crying In the CLUB it was so pure lord help my soul. He was tryna say “you guys were legit” but the first time he said it no one really understood lmao so he looked to rap mon for helped and he got all shy and rap mon shouted “YOU GUYS WERE LEGIT” LMAO.  If anything, this concert just intensified my love for Min Yoongi tbh.

Now my second bias JHope. Man he was LIVIN IT UP I swear his stage presence was no joke. NGL but he had the best stage presence that night and if it weren’t for him it wouldn’t be as hyped. Hobi was giving fanservice left right and centre and just running around the stage making sure he wouldn’t miss any of the audience. He was the one hyping the audience up as well with his gestures and everything. I really have the best biases :’)))))) im so glad people are woke asf to him and appreciating him more  (but shame on yall for needing a concert to wake yall up). OK BUT BLESS THE STYLIST THAT NIGHT BECAUSE HOBI WAS SERVING IN THE LOOKS DEPARTMENT WITH HIS BLACK HAIR AND FOREHEAD (ALSO RAP MON, JIN HAD THEIR FOREHEADS SHOWN TOO). I am really impressed because hobi was almost performing back to back. Right after he did his dance solo for Boy Meets Evil they performed BST immediately like damn RESPECT. His solo stage was the most fun because Mama is quite an upbeat song so the crowd was singing along the whole way and it was just a good time overall. I feel so blessed, because Hobi is an actual angel/eternal sunshine and just such a happy pill!!!!!!!! PURE!!!

Kim Namjoon said that this concert was special to them because its right after their billboard music awards (the crowd lost their shits, and ofc, me) and was talking bout how beautiful Australia is and he would like living here next time lmao bless u. Kim Seokjin was the most extra human being I have laid my eyes on omg. Everytime he had the mic he wouldn’t hesitate to mention “worldwide handsome” jfc. His visuals are stunning holy shit I was awake but now im woke even more. Prettiest solo stage tbh. I was also looking forward to Taehyungs’ solo the most because Stigma is my favorite song out of all the solos and boy he did not disappoint. That man was glowing omg. I love his skin so much?????? It’s a golden brown color and im ?????wow. HE’S A WHOLE MEAL. Also he needs to stop smirking that aint good for my heart man. JIMINNNNNNNNNNN. One word: SOFT. His “make some noise” was the CUTEST SHIT EVER DO NOT FIGHT ME ON THIS. IT WAS SO SOFT my hearteu is omg fr. I was swearing so much during “Lie” because I cannot believe he just did that!!!! Performing with a blindfold during the second verse and having a chandelier come down from the ceiling (albeit tiny but still). 11/10 vocals, and actual mochi. Also he touched a fans’ hand in the mosh pit and im :) not :) jealous :))) JJK god of singing and absolutely lethal with his looks and gestures how are kookie stans alive????? Overall I thought he was so shy throughout the whole concert???? His solo footwork had me shooked I ascended tbh (and he was really professional when some fan threw the Australian flag in his hands, he just chuckled and put it down nicely :’)))

One of the most memorable performances for me was Run. The transition from Danger to Run was beautiful, and before the chorus dropped in Run, the members were telling us to get ready to jump. And so we did and it was so so so lit/turnt/ALIVE. I cant even describe it tbh I felt like I was in this GIANT party with Armies and BTS fans (I say this cause not all bts fans are armies lmao). The Korean girl next to me (shes a stranger lmao) and I was jumping at it SO HARD. It was truly memorable and every time I think about it my heart feels fuzzy and warm im cry :’) ive never been to a party before and honestly I don’t feel the need to anymore after this concert because nothing could ever come close. Blood Sweat and Tears is my fave song and by the time they performed that they were already so tired but still gave it their best I FEEL SO BLESSED. And last but not least, was Spring Day. The crowd sang along, there was confetti everywhere,  the members were bowing and it felt so magical.

I really wanted to write this because no one irl would want to listen to what I say lmao and the two friends I went with I just felt like we weren’t on the same hype level??? Im having post concert depression rn and I just wanna binge watch all their videos but I have to catch up with uni u feel me ??? Overall, definitely the best experience/night of my life and I know that this is going to be so special to me (being the first concert and all). Im glad I went all out and payed for VIP cause in the end it was more than worth it. Pictures don’t do them justice, they really are statues irl. Their voices sound even more amazing irl and just being in the same place as them and with the fans… indescribable.
