I just need to rant about my oc sorry this is just gonna be a bunch of word vomit. He’s a porcelain doll inhabited by the soul of a vanquished hero and an old pestilential god.

Mischa was once a legendary hero that succeeded in staving off an apocalypse brought about by the old gods. He bound his soul to an eldritch being and died with it, sacrificing himself. Though the world didn't end the lands have been razed by plague and famine. A fanatical cult assembles to bring back Mischa with the doll as his vessel. Hoping to end the dark era and bring about a new age but with the old gods soul intertwined with his he comes back bloodthirsty, forever tormented within his new body.

This is what the original Mischa looked like <3 very inspired by the classic arthurian hero.

and here is the fell pestilence/famine body that possesses the doll alongside the soul of Mischa. I was trying to go more byzantine with the influence here but I’m unsure if i was successful.. This universe is very inspired by bloodborne and fromsofts other work and I hope that vibe comes across well!!

When Nadia Frazier was young, she was the daughter of a duke, soon to be the duchess. She fell in love with the Princess of Cystosc, Perla Ptak.

Perla is also gorgeous id like to add.

anywayyyy fast forward like 4 years or so, a witch is brought in for trial before Nadia. this witch was from the Moon Realm, and she was on trial for basically just stealing stuff from markets. The punishment for theft / burglary is to cut off the hands of the offender.

this witch begged Nadia not to cut off her hands as she needed them for her spells and magic. She offered Nadia all the things humans could ever want magic-wise. Nadia let the witch give her these gifts — semi-immortality (being able to die only when you truly want to die) and the closest person to you also being semi-immortal, control / puppet magic over anyone you bite, shapeshifting (exclusively into a cat, snake, raven, and mouse), and reasonable necromancy, and ultimately,, power.

the witch gave Nadia a warning, telling her that now that she gave Nadia this gift, if she killed the witch, then Nadia will be alone in her power, cursed with eternal life and unable to die, rotting away as a living being until she is nothing but a walking skeleton. this also meant that the closest person to her (her wife) would die and be unable to be resurrected.

Nadia called bullshit, and had the witch executed in capitol square for making a fool of the Queen.

WELL.

Nadia's gift became a curse, and Perla collapsed just as the witch's head fell in the basket. yk, I'm one of those cool quirky people, so yes, Nadia's hair turned black then and there as well, signifying she had been irreversibly cursed.

She crashed out, and waged a couple wars for fun, tried to die, took over the Realms Island, so forth. She laid off the other kingdoms in Luscaria, and claimed the Realms as part of her empire, the Wiran Empire. (she renamed Cystosc to Wir).

she's still to this day the Empress of the Realms but like... she doesn't care what happens there, so long as they do not revolt against her, cost her a bunch of money, or cause a war between this empire and some other realm / kingdom not under her jurisdiction.

uhhh at this point, Nadia is about 150 years old, but will stay looking as she did when she was cursed at about 27 years old. well, bonus the rotting away into a walking skeleton stuff.

Species: Ezarian x Ceruclean

Age: N/A

Height: 5’9

Abilities:

Anti-Gravity: Enhances Via’s strength and agility in battle, also causing objects touched by Viara to levitate or defy gravity completely. Anti-Gravity can also affect Viara; leap large distances, enhance speed and stamina and allow her to fly or levitate on command.

*Ends up causing her to age slower than normal people (astronaut rules >:).)

Withdraws:

Weight Limitations: she is unable to move rubble or debris if the weight limit exceeds three tons.

Nausea: If she were to push herself, it could cause Viara to become nauseated and lose focus.

Energy Field: Viara can mentally generate a green-tinged force field, which she uses for a variety of effects. Most commonly, Viara generates impenetrable energy bubbles around herself or other targets. Her shields are incredibly durable, and can be used to deflect heavy oncoming artillery.

Withdraws:

Blunt Force: While exceedingly sturdy, if very heavy blunt force is applied to the force field, it can be cracked and/or crushed and she can be badly hurt and even fall unconscious.

Corrosive substances: Liquids such as lava, acid, etc.

Before the abduction, Viara was the second eldest of five. Becoming a second mother to her sibling after the birth of the youngest and passing of their father; left ill by an infected wound.

While her older brother worked around the tribes’ village, Via stayed at home with the rest of her family. Watching over her younger siblings, often having the youngest strapped to her back while she helped around the house or gathered fresh water for everyone.

It was at nightfall the abduction had taken place. Loud crashes and the quaking ground startling everyone awake. In the chaos of panic and destruction, Via had lost track of all but one of her family; the youngest she had clutched to her chest as she ran.

All she remembers is running before a misfired blast launched her forward into the sharp grains of cold sand. Then it went dark, her final moments she spent staring down at the child she curled around to protect, hugging their limp body closer as the world fell silent.

Markings:

The various markings/stripes and spots differ between each individual—though vaguely similar, no one has the exact same markings. Each individual is born with their own unique pattern; a mix of both parents.

Due to Thalassa being an aquatic/beach planet with lack of tree coverage—with the exception of small tropical forests and oasis spots deeper in land— their markings were designed to help regulate body temperature in warm, sunny climates. They actually help prevent sun burns!

Quick fact: Last names weren’t very common of Thalassa— so Via either made hers up or it was given to her later.

and im going to be honest i haven’t fully delved into their backstories yet BUT they are apart of my wof universe thing where they’re jade mountain academy students‼️ so they’re only dragonets

i also havent fully decided if they should be apart of the og wof universe and its just later on or if it should be their own thing with different queens different dod storyline etc🫣 we’ll see

as you can see algae is based off a clownfish, ( i have a little headcanon that wof dragon designs are based off of both the biome they hatched in and any animal near them at the time/any animal that represents them possibly ), so algae has the three stripes that wrap around their body, plus the very bright orange colors obv, so she hatched near a coral reef

snapper is based off of a great white shark, not as obvious but it just hints to how he hatched in a cave, so he’s dark in color and has foggy bioluminescence lights, also he got his mouth scar when he was little he doesn’t remember it very well (aka its not fully planned out yet LMAO)

he’s also def got some family issues going on, especially cause he’s royalty

his personality is centered around being super grouchy and impatient on the outside, but he’s very clever and loyal to those he loves on the inside

algae’s personality is mainly being super bubbly and ambitious, as well as being very curious and a bit clumsy on top of that

This isn't Twst related but I've been making more art of my personal OC's like redraws/revamps so I decided to share some of them with you all !

(This honestly hurts to look at but I'm so happy with how much I've learned and improved with in art since back in 2022 to now lol.)

So this is my Genshin OC I made back in 2022, and honestly I didn't want to change too much about her appearance besides body shape, slight wardrobe change along with having her color palette be a bit dull since I don't work too well with multiple bright colors so I just add very few in small spots.

I'm still working on her lore since although I don't play genshin anymore I still really enjoyed the time I had creating her that I still try my best to keep up with lore and how she can fit in the plot just for fun and nothing to serious.

Anyways feel free to assume what you'd like about her for fun, but I will say she is a part of the fatui in a way just not in a huge role since she picked it herself.

So the fella pictured is Ursus Spelaeus. He's a ghoul, and has been alive since before the war (like, 200 years ago). The context of the SITUATION is basically that there were nuclear bombs dropped that rendered the whole area a wasteland. Fallout shit. anyway In the 200 or whatever years since the war, Ursus lived alone in a shack. He gradually forgot pretty much everything aside from his name, and reconstructed how to interact with people off of dogs he saw outside his window. The advanced amnesia was basically roused by him going pretty much stir crazy for 2 centuries. Before the war, Ursus was a prison guard. He had a wife who he loved very much and she was actually pregnant before the bombs dropped. Their main way of showing affection was physical contact, hugs kisses holding hooves etc. Ursus was lucky enough to get out of that event a ghoul, but his wife was not- she perished in the blast. Over the next 200 years as mentioned he forgot everything- including her. All he knows is that she existed and that he loves her more than the world. He can't remember her name or her face or where they used to live.

This animatic is him dreaming about her. As you can see she's represented as a skeleton, because he can't remember what she looks like. Her voice is a choir, because he can't remember what she sounds like. All he remembers is that he loved her. The whole animatic he looks weirdly neutral about it, and that's because he doesn't know who she is. That is... Until she touches him. He melts. He remembers. He gets to share that one little moment with her, before the bombs and before everything was taken from him. He was never a good dancer and they both knew it, and yet they did. They danced on their wedding and they danced when they heard a good song on the radio. And now is no different.

Introduction to Tumbal !

Hello to all of my fellow ghouls and welcome to the first post on this new blog of mine! I, once before, that attempted to post of Tumblr yet I fell out of it and eventually quit, but today is indeed where that changes! And, for my grand entrance, I've decided to. . . Talk about one of my original characters for a long while. I admit that it is a tad cliché but context is important, especially with the characters I want to get to talking about in the hopefully near future. However, before I can get to the name sake of this blog, I will first explain one of my favorite characters within my collection of Deltarune ocs. So please, if you may be so inclined to go on this journey with me, I shall inquire about this character.

Tumbal is my idea for a Secret Boss for my take on Chapter Three of Deltarune. He, as his design might suggest, is based on the infamous Woody Theory based on Toby's remixes of the song You've Got a Friend in Me. Tumbal is not a skrunkly fellow and nor is he a chaotic critter, instead he is a horrific, compassionless beast who actively lures people into his abandoned set to kill them and use their bodies as puppets. To find Tumbal, you'll first need to find his Friends. Around Homewood, you'll be able to find NPCs that seem a little bit. . . off. They seem to be made of trash, people comment on their strangeness, and there seen to be vines growing around them. You'd find the first one very early on, and you'd need to find all four of them to get the OldReel. This reel can be given to one of the shopkeepers, Barley!

Barley's Light World object is an unopened wine bottle that Toriel left in the cupboard. He's a bit of an older gent but there's a reason he still gets roles in Rook's productions. He's chipper and runs a bar near the end of the journey. Once you find him and talk to him about his past roles, you can give him the OldReel, which will allow you to get his secret dialogue about Tumbal, after which he'll give you the TrashKey.

". . . sigh. . . So y' found out about it. . . Alright kid, pull up a seat, it's been. . . A while since I had to think about this. . . Look, everyone has their start. For some, it's a small production that shows their future strengths. For Rook, it was a small little show. A pretty low budget, dinky sets, an amateur filmmaker's playground. Tenna was the first to join, and then a casting call was put out and I got hired to do some work for it. . . But there was this one kid. . . He was full of hopes. . . And so many dreams of grandeur. Yeah, the show wasn't the best, but we all eventually grew to love our cast members and crew. It was great. . . sigh . . . Until the accident. The time for the finale had come around. We'd all been waiting for this day, all of us excited for what was to come. . . But then. . . Disaster struck. . . I don't even remember what happened, all I remember was a gunshot and then violent screams of agony. Everyone was running for the door, everyone was panicking and rushing out. . . Except that kid. He was nowhere to be seen. . . And I knew. I knew that Tenna. . . Tenna unintentionally. . . You can fill in the blanks. Some would say it was only up from there, I'd say that it's gotten so much worse. Tenna never really recovered from that, nor did Rook. It never felt like any of us were close or. . . Even friends anymore. . . Sometimes I think about that kid. . . And I start to notice things I hadn't before. . . Vines growing from mouseholes, trash appearing out of nowhere, random people disappearing. . . All I could think about after that was that leaving that kid there was the worst mistake any of us had ever made. . . . . . Maybe you could stop it for good and give us some closure on that, kid. . . Or maybe it's better to let the dead rot. . ."

You'd find the abandoned set in a lower level of Rook Tower. On of the only things visible once you'd get down there would be a fogged up piece of glass in the wall, like a forgotten window. . . But in the basement of all places? The place would be dark, filles with cobwebs, broken props, loose scripts, and vines galore. One you inspect the glass. . . You finally see the person you've been working your way towards this entire time. . .

Similar to Spamton's fight, you'd be alone for the first part of this encounter. Help would arrive only after you'd already used the TrashKey on the glass panel and entered into Tumbal's Domain. This location would be a whole 'nother level of dilapidated compared to the room before it. The life that used to permeate through this set, a place filled wall to wall with times of the good and the bad, is reduced to nothing but an ugly mess of decay and carcasses. . . Tumbal would monologue for a bit before grabbing Kris, throwing them to the floor and getting ready to tear into them, when Ralsei would burst in and restrain Tumbal with his scarf. The Fun Gang would stand in front of Tumbal, the first few notes of DEATH ANGEL blare out as he tries to shoot Kris dead. . . When a familiar green glow envelopes their soul and let's them, and by proxy you, block attacks. Unfortunately, Tumbal has a trick up his nonexistent sleeves, RED attacks. These attacks can't be blocked, but instead need to be blasted away by the Green Soul Mode's new ability, a beam that is charged by oncoming attacks and TP. Now the fight may truly commence!

Tumbal's fight would be a lot more difficult than the bosses before him due to his constant switching of the soul modes for certain attacks, even switching the mode mid-attack. Tumbal would throw everything he has at you, using bullets from his fingers, thorns, vines, signs from his speech quirk, trash, and anything else he could feasibly use to bash Kris's face in. To spare him, you'd need to shine light onto him, slowly causing his movements to become less erratic as he slowly but surely freezes in place. Once you are finally able to freeze him entirely, or beat him until he can't fight anymore. . .

A stage light would fall directly on top of Tumbal, killing him instantly.

Tumbal's end of fight dialogue would come from a recording that starts playing on a TV in the now darkened arena. It'd be the only surviving footage of Tumbal before the accident, and in it he'd talk with someone behind the camera about his hopes and dreams. Eventually, the recording would glitch and distort until Tumbal words would be stitched together to form one final statement, "let me be your strength." After this, you would be given the BanditsHonor if you spared him, the TwistedDagger if you killed him, and a ShadowCrystal. . .

So, that is Tumbal' entire quest line. I really wanted this to be dark and twisted because my take on Chapter Three is pretty light-hearted and it wod contrast well with the other two Canon Secret Bosses. For clarity's sake, I'd like to clear up a few things. Tumbal's speech quirk would have him replace phrases with signs in-game, but in-universe it would be him mimicking things he's heard before. This would be shown through other character's dialogue noises playing during these brief moments. I know this is very similar to Spamton. . . and I don't have much to add after that. Anyway, Tenna and Barley aren't the only ones affected by Tumbal. A minor character in the storyline, Chai Nelguid, would be manipulated by Tumbal to try to get The Fun Gang to him earlier. The rest of The Midnight Channel, the main villains of this chapter (Mike, Rook, and Tenna), would all be affected by his death. Rook would try to play it safe from now on due to Tumbal's death, Tenna would grieve and try to cover the entire thing up, and Mike. . . Mike has a few loose ends he needs to tie up for his master plan. . . Finally, here's a list of his tracks.

First Ever OCS redesign

★ Zandra Knight and Claudya Asghar ★

Zandra was my first EVER oc, I made her in 2016, when I was nine. She was initially meant to be a vampire, seeing as I had a crazy fixation on them, and I made Claudya in 2020 to go with her (I wasn't aware gay people even existed yet, so they were just besties.... who certainly had smth else going).

here's the full story of their development visually and as characters !!! ↓

here was Zandra's original design.

she was such a Mary Sue ohhhhh myyyy goddddddd. I was hung up on "sexy goth vampire" subconsciously.

she (at the time) had the powers to manipulate plant growth — specifically roses, and was smth called a "Rose Vampire." her "heart" was a ruby in her chest, and the only way to kill her was by shattering it or ripping it out.

oh, bonus, Roses ate humans. not just drank their blood, ATE THEM.

here was her first full-blown redesign from 2020 ↓

i mean it's a weird ass leather jumpsuit thing, but the VISIONNNNN IS THEREEEEEE.

this redesign came about after I watched Teen Titans Go! To the Movies and I liked how one of the Ravens looked anatomically. Plus, I was over her old design, I was getting older and her design was getting old. I remember staying up after my bedtime to draw this because I just couldn't sleep for thinking of it.

the following morning, Claudya's first visual design was born ↓

Claudya existed in my storywriting prior to 2020, but I never drew her. She was often described (in my 9-10 year old words 😭) as having "white hair, blue eyes, and skin the color of peanut butter."

Claudya was what I called a "Cloud Vampire."

these were "vampires" who were vegetarian (dawg I knew nth of vampires) and loved living among humans. they all had white hair and weather powers that idr the extent of. they were sworn enemies of the Roses simply by birth and blood.

several other characters and species were born, but I never bothered to elaborate on them later.

I also had a fixation on Pokemon at the time, so I made LOTS AND LOTS OF CARDS, much like this one of Zandra (obv this is a redesign, I'm too tired to get up and take a pic of the originals) ↓

in 2021, I redesigned Zan to try and make her clothes make more sense, and I also drew Clauds, but I kept her design ↓

here was the concepts for the current redesigns ↓

about 2 weeks after this drawing, I went INSANE over them. like could not sleep, couldn't eat, couldn't think of anything else but revamping their stories and improving their characters.

smth I didn't mention before was that Claud and Zan came together when Zan tried to kill Claud, mistaking her for a human that she was going to eat. eventually Claud got over it (idek how... I never really cleared that up lmao), and they bonded over fighting these things called "Heartlesses." woo girl.

I kept the concept of these "Heartless" creatures, but instead combined then with some other species called "Invisiblites."

the whole "vampire" thing was scrapped, Claudya became an ordinary human, and Zandra ended up being some kind of other species called the Rose with some kind of supernatural powers (I haven't worked out the kinks yet). She hasn't gotten her powers yet because her father is human, not Rose She and her sister Kyrie are a part of a league called Thorn (SEE WHAT I DID THERE !!!!) dedicated to the protection of humans against these Invisiblites. The Rose were a human manifestation, created based on the longing for protection against the age-old apparitions of Invisiblites.

Invisiblites themselves take on the appearance of a beautiful woman, and must feed on young girls to survive. They can make themselves invisible — hence "invisiblite” — and often are just simple thieves outside of their grotesque ways of feeding. They are typically only active at night, when the nocturnal Rose rise and will set out to kill them.

The Rose must hide that they are of a supernatural species so as to protect themselves from the humans... from exactly what, idk. Think of Santa Claus I guess 😭😭

recently, there has been a parasite.. one that lives symbiotically with the Invisiblites, and they are often unaware of its presence. this parasite is what many of the Thorn have dubbed "the Heartless parasite."

to kill an Invisiblite, you must stab it through the heart, but with the parasite, they transmutate to a grotesque pale white skinned hollowed out body, with long tentacle-like arms. to kill these is random, but in thing is consistent — they lack a heart.

later on, Claudya insists on joining the Thorn, despite being human. Zan's Aunt Rae makes spiritual magic stuff (her power) and makes Claud a wand or smth, idk. this is all I have so far.

I love them a lot, but there are just so many ideas that I can't properly draw them without stimming out or having a heart attack, so I have practically zero art.

how does vampirism work

before we even laid out any sort of plot or character concepts we knew we wanted there to be lots of different types of vampires in this universe, generally what we (when I say we I'm referring to myself and the other devs) consider to make someone a vampire is a disease or magical infliction not present at birth that forces the person to consume blood, or another form of animal (most often human) energy or matter, for either necessary nutrients or another reason. basically, to be a vampire you must be unable to live without taking the lives of others and consuming them in some way. in game we will only address physical consumption but there are other options that I won't go in depth on right now. the main types of vampires that will be discussed in game are full and partial classical vampires. (a classical vampire is basically just drinks blood, cannot eat human food, has some sort of magical power or enhanced ability, most often does not physically age) a full classical vampire would be just that, a partial vampire has either not fully developed after being turned or some sort of external interference prevented them from being fully turned. the way a vampire turns someone is dependent on the vampire, but generally involves bloodshed of both involved.

notes- named after the classical vampire story the vampyre by John William Polidori, his past is long and mysterious.

personality- flirtatious, narcissistic, insecure, often objectifying

notes- has a lot of middle names, all of which are references to things, named after the 1977 movie Martin.

Mikey G. Reigh

personality- talkative, energetic, sometimes frustrating.

notes- the youngest romanceable character, named after mikey way
