BBC Ghosts as sharks part 1

In time line order of course

Robin: now the obvious awnser is Greenland shark so Greenland shark because they are the oldest living shark and also they are close relatives of dogfish and he sometimes acts like a dog

Humphrey: I am thinking angle sharks because they kind of hide away ehich he unintentionally dose with him being a head qnd a body separate (sometimes intentional) and also he js really nice so the name fits but

Mary: I had like 50 different opinions for her but I learnt there’s a shark called the nervous shark so I’m so sorry Mary but she’s getting that

Kitty: obviously !! A lemon shark they are always looking like they are smiling which she is and also they choose there favourite diver and they go to it every time and get jealous if other sharks go over which is kitty with Alison Edit: there is actually no scientific evidence behind that but it’s now it appears so I’m keeping it

Thomas: I'm trying to think of a dramatic shark goblin sharks certainly look dramatic they are described as mysterious and unique which he is sort of but was also thinking dusky shark because they travelled so so far to have there baby's qnd that that now metophore he dose so much love letters and poems for people he is In love with so yk that's a bit of a stretch but sharks just armt poets I love both the options so I’ll do both or either

Fanny/lady button: I'm thinking great white I know they are called great white but they have gray and she was the grey lady so yeah also the great white shark is one of them kind of misunderstood guys like I think she is she seems like she's just being horrible for no reason but she's not she's also a person with feelings and all that (im mot saying great white sharks can't be dangerous they can be careful but they are not visous beasts who want to hurt people just cause either)

Pat: Nurse shark: nurse sharks are one of the more friendly sharks and he’s very very friendly they are just cool little guys floating around having a good time, the also usually in groups and he loves his family and his ghosts family also for being a scout leader you do need some nurse like skills like first aid CPR so I think the name fits

Julian: so I wasn't sure for him and I asked someone and they said a carpet shark because they are ugly and bottem feeders which I don’t think they are ugly but yeah the bottem feeder thing is a different thing in sharks the it is in politics obviously but the words the same so I’m going to give him a ornate wobbegong.

I will post drawing of these over the next while and part two when I get to that

If they ever do bring Fanny back and she gets a 3D redesign, the most important thing to me is that they do not nerf her canonically large forehead-

Because yes, she is supposed to have a big forehead, they often make sure to emphasize it with a little sheen, and she even uses it as a weapon

(and it's apparently harder than Potemkin somehow if her win quote against him is anything to go by)

Also the blurb about her from Guilty Gear X Drafting Artworks (page 152) directly mentions it:

La Cachucha

Ignoring the odd choice of words, La Cachucha is a dance of Spanish origin that was a big deal in the 1830s, and I found a delightful video:

Although the quality is not the best of the several cachucha videos on YouTube, the dancer's movements look like they're right out of 1830s social dancing illustrations!

Her costume is modeled on that of Fanny Elssler in the 1836 ballet Le Diable boiteux, which made the cachucha wildly popular:

As a pro tip, smarmily asking nursing staff "what it takes to speed [treatment for your friend's extremely non-urgent problem] up, do I need to buy you pizza?" then standing outside your friend's room for two hours staring at the nursing staff, incessantly and irritatedly asking when the specialist would get here, and not taking "you are not their only patient, they are working on getting here as fast as they can but we can't guarantee a time" (when said specialist was running around the entire damn hospital trying to find the very specific size of equipment the patient needs) for an answer does NOT actually endear you to nursing staff and CERTAINLY does not mean I am prioritizing your speedy discharge over my other patients' needs just because you are trying to annoy and bully us into getting rid of you (or worse, actually are that entitled). Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

So, Eleanor, how did you and Nurse Fanny start getting into a relationship?

She doesn't like talking about the incident, but basically what happened was

Okay so we all know that mickey stayed in wasteland at the end of epic mickey 2 and I know for a fact in em 3 either he was suppoust to get out and find a way back bc something was wrong with him(and the blot still being very much a part of him) or his friends from the cartoon world were meant to notice his absense and somehow find a way into wasteland

But since em 2 is the end and were cut from any action I like to belive mickey just settled in wasteland, since he still has the brush he could probably be a nurse, in epic mickey 2 we see that mickey can use paint on oswald to fix him up as he dies/melts so probably he could do the same to others but diffrent wounds and overall damages work diffrently so being a nurse would make alot more sense for him than just spraying paint on lets say broken arm and poof its fixed! It should be in the right position and looked at before fixing up

Also since fanny used to be a nurse during old oswald shorts she could be his guide/mentor in it, they could be work buddies and the sald coming out of their mouth would be enough to make ocean jaleous and id love that, plus i think mickeys optimism and positive/calming presance would work really well with fanny's sassy and often grounded views/realism since shes been a nurse for much longer

They could even have their own clinic somewhere a bit further away from action where theyd chill after going around wasteland checking and helping people

I was discovered wandering pregnant.  I thought things were going pretty well.  A family took me in.  That was better.  Right after midnight, on 6/25/2009, I started to point out that I thought something was amiss. As I walked down the hall, I dropped Sadie (female, dilute calico) on the floor. We were all put into a box in a bedroom.  Next came Fannie.  She was stuck halfway out and a human helped her exit.  Fannie (female, gray and white) – I’m glad she wasn’t as large as she was soon to become. Carter was born last (a gray tabby with white accessories and what a black nose).  A stripey baby boy.  I think he looks like the Neighborhood King – Grover.  I heard the humans say they were going to trap him and get him neutered so his kingly duties are reduced somewhat.

Match Game ‘76 Episode 811: They’ve given this poor challenger contestant a (particularly interesting but nevertheless extremely) Round 1 question for her Round 2 question:

David said, “You know the game show I’ve Gotta Secret? Well, there’s a new game show about my first wife. It’s called I’ve Gotta _____.”

(Like come on there’s no answer to that. Maybe Headache or Custody Agreement or New Man or Alimony Check or Lawyer or Court Date or No-Fault Divorce or New Lease on Life or Goldmine and He Got the Shaft [edit: that song hadn’t come out yet but I do still think it’s the funniest answer]?)

The contestant nonsensically says Hag (which Gene mishears as Headache and praises as The Answer before the miscommunication is cleared up). And Richard argues why would the guy care about a headache because he’s done with her and probably has a new gal by now and Gene argues it was the reason for the divorce and Richard argues that should’ve been part of the question, then.

All the panelists give different answers (Just Some Guy’s Dud, Brett’s Boyfriend, Charles matched before so doesn’t play, Elaine Joyce’s Weird Girl esoteric Albatross), absolutely none of which land with the audience except for some moderate applause for Richard’s Alimony Check.

And then it’s Fannie Flagg’s turn in the fun, cool, not-at-all-difficult 6th seat with this fun, cool, definitely answerable question. (🙄)

I understood this.

This is a Goodson-Todman gameshow starring Brett Somers, right?
