A flash of ethereal green light could be seen down a old alleyway shortly before a night blue pegasus mare comes trotting around the corner with a large basket in tow. As she looks around partly to get her bearings she checks to make sure she didn't draw any suspicion pulling out a map to look the part.

Shortly thereafter when she was sure Nopony was following she knocks on cinna's door

"Hey cinna, It's me Astrum!"

Need To Know Things About The Prime Nexus

I am currently working on Orīrī, which functions as the central, originally-intended plane of the realm - so this has the most progress out of all of them

the realm was created by a cult-group called the Cord (this name was later mistaken to be the magic of the universe, leading to magic being called the Cords)

the realm was created so that the Cord could escape their imploding realm to a paradise of their own creation... the realm imploded before they could finish

due to the spell used to create the Prime Nexus and the amount of people, many random thoughts, hopes and dreams of the casters were accidentally mixed into the Prime Nexus, making it what it is today

the Cord left behind terraforming technology in Orīrī on the planet Ubos that has slowly degraded overtime. This technology is responsible for the species on Ubos and the exact reason Ubos is so genetically diverse

Ubos used to have a Pangea continent that split apart overtime

the Cord thought only Ubos (within Orīrī) existed and only a few fringe groups of scientists who set up the terraforming tech ever found out about the others

there are (currently) 15 species in Orīrī, 6 species of the Flush and 3 species of the Void, 3 native species of Kipara, and no known native species of Zulix

Orīrī's main planet Ubos, the various species of Orīrī have been posted throughout this blog, but to list them they are: Sun'all (Uxder), Qhenzeits (Rolni), Keerie (Emoth), Im'uth (Qate), Om'ail (Khol), Hiro (Mos), Caisni (Sol'ver), Yal (Hervorian), Tavrul (Doross), Sehnal (Usoit), Dragnaels (Yaris), Xonqrex (Stihro), Nockvein (Etzal), Osnae (Qarine), Qhuv'ots (Gamaian). Each of these species will have a few different cultures, but so far the only cultures I have made/planned out are in brackets next to them. Similar to how humans are a species, but we have many different cultures with different names

The Flush's 3 species are Astrum, Saytrs, Astrum Baron(ess), Fairies, Neterar'iris and Giants and the Void has Nox, Profundis and Nomphoirs (these names and species aren't carved in stone yet - I'm likely to add more)

there is magic in the world and it is quiet common! However, Temporal magic isn't

POPs, or Pace Obstruction Patches, are zones with dilated time due to the fabric of space-time being punctured through inter-realm travel. Aka. by the Cord and their terraforming technology. Teleportation or "jump" points are still damaged as POPs to this day, especially surrounding Cord infastructure

Vampires are not native to the Prime Nexus, and instead can be traced back to one of the Cord scientists that remained in the Flush after the implosion of their home realm

sea travel doesn't exist on Ubos right now despite their technological advancements because the Qarine are extremely violent and territorial toward anyone entering their territory

Omuin is one of Ubos's 3 continents (I haven't named the other 2)

On Omuin, the year is 4663 AF (after fall of the Gamaian Empire), during the Reformation and Renaissance eras... this does not account for previous eras

In reality, based on the Omuin calendar, it has been 96,006,026 years since the birth of the world. Orīrī species have only been alive ~-9,000 BMD (before mother tree death)

A Mother Tree is the terraforming facility responsible for embryonic repopulation of the world (primarily sentient species such as Im'uth and Sehnal, but also non-sentient species such as dragons, rabbits and bears)

this world was designed to work with the dnd 5e system, so many creatures such as dragons, manticores and minotaurs do exist within the world - don't worry, there are hunting guilds who work for cheap (mostly just the beast carcases) to keep local villages safe

As the long line of marching soldiers marched through the streets, Light moved Nox to the side, out of view of the Captain of the Guard, and quietly asked her to wait, while they stood on the street, and kept watch; however, they cursed their luck when they expected the legion to pass into the next street, who then turned to the side, eventually marching all around the Palace led by Lord Shining.

Looking back towards Nox and letting out a deep sigh, Light shook their head as they walked over to Nox, telling her they reckoned it would take some time before their training was complete, and they asked her if she was alright with wandering the city for some time, until the soldiers were gone; a small, yet hesitant smile grew unto Nox's face when she took the enchanted pin from under her wing.

With a gentle voice, Light told Nox they would be there for her, should she need it, if she were to go through with transforming into Astrum, to get past the Guards to reach the Palace, but when they noticed she was quivering slightly, they sat down and gently took her paw, promising her they would stay with her, and that she did not have to continue with something that would cause much distress.

As her smile turned genuine after Light's caring words, for which she thanked them, Nox stood up to peek around the corner for a brief moment, though before she even reached the corner of the street, as she heard neither the sounds of the Captain's whistle, nor the marching soldiers had shrunk, she turned around towards Light, put the pin under her wing, and gestured to Light with her head to go.

With a small, kind smile and a quick nod, Light got up from the side of the street and walked after Nox, leaving the upsetting sounds of a marching army and its commanding whistle further behind them with every step they took; back on the outskirts, Light suggested heading to the other side of town via the outermost street, where, if they remembered correctly, a variety of different stores stood.

Side by side, leaving the main street and the train station next to which they stood, Nox and Light walked the outer road to the other side of the city, though, just before they reached the shops, in the distance, they both noticed the great crowds of Ponies, lost in their thoughts and daily lives; Nox reached for Light's hoof, as if by instinct, and together, they walked towards the busy street.

Anticipating the worst, to protect herself, Nox harshly closed her eyes, squeezed Light's hoof, and leaned into their shoulder, as they led her through the crowd for some time, whispering to her that she was alright and doing a great job every couple of steps; save for a couple of looks of intrigue from some young foals and older Mares and Stallions, not a word was spoken to either Light nor Nox.

Then, in the middle of the street, a voice called out from behind them, making Nox flinch slightly, though, when Light turned around, while Nox still faced away with her eyes shut, they found nopony, until they looked down, where they found a small group of very tiny foals by their legs while their guide, smiling gently, stood a couple of metres away, and waved politely as she moved over to them.

Gently nudging Nox, asking her to turn around, whispering to her that the voice they heard was from somepony who looked like a teacher, Light smiled as they waved to the guide and the group of foals, sinking through their legs to greet the young ones; still Light towered above the foals, who looked at both in awe, with their eyes opened wide, even after they had laid down, holding the paw of Nox.

The guide apologised for bothering them and asked her group to be a little quieter, for she noticed Nox was nervous, and probably could not handle crowds very well, after which she introduced herself as Lavender Quartz, a teacher in the Empire, who happened to be guiding this class of foals through the city, when they noticed them walking in the distance, and ran up to them with great enthusiasm.

With a nervous smile, but a reassured heart, Nox turned around and said with stutter as she waved:

"Hi there… W-With what can- can we help you?"

{Astrum} The Oracle smiles at the last patient, accepting her thanks this way. Then, he turns to the next patient in line. He too, greets the man with his customary smile. "What ails you today?" He asks.

Ardyn shrugs. In truth, he'd just wanted to see the latest in his passed wife's line. He doesn't look like a Nox Fleuret, looks more like he should be from Somnus' line in all honesty. But there is a gentleness that reminds him of the best of them. He thinks he'll like watching this boy grow.

"Nothing ails me, but you look like you could use a break," He said. "Or do they not let the oracle take lunch?"

He gestures with a hand holding a bag, inside of which are some sandwiches and a thermos filled with steaming tea. What better way to get to know the first oracle's descendants, than to have a picnic like he would often do so long ago?

Meet Pitch Black, an evil, monstrous Alicorn who wanted to take over the world and rebuild it in his macabre image, but he was stopped and imprisoned by Celestia and Luna's mother and father before it could happen. He also happens to be Celestia and Luna's uncle (Astrum's older brother), who was originally named Nox

Backstory: Nox is ten years older than Astrum. Nox and his brother were friends and playmates with Princess Galaxia and he thought he was going to be marry Galaxia and be crowned king when his parents passed, but he discovered that Astrum was going to be the next king (and he and Galaxia were already betrothed) and Nox grew jealous of his younger brother. He became so jealous that he wanted to prove himself to his family by studying all sorts of magic. One night as Nox was in the royal library, he discovered a way to create a magic of his own. It sounded promising so, he decided to try it out... only to have his curiosity undermined. He was successful, but the spell he cast transformed him and changed him forever, turning his wings into those of a dragon, making his mane and tail grow longer, turning his coat, eyes, and magical aura much paler, and making his body look thinner and more gaunt, almost starved. Shocked by what this new magic of his could do, Nox fled the land, never to be seen by pony eyes again... that is until years later.

Around the time Princess Luna was born, Nox didn't receive an invitation to the party held in her honor and that made him very angry. When he arrived at the party, Nox saw that he didn't have just one niece... but TWO. Allowing his anger to come to a boil, he cast a wicked spell on the infant Luna, saying that when the time was right the little princess would become so angry, bitter, and jealous that she would transform into a wicked mare of darkness that only wanted eternal night. Meaning that HE was the one who created Nightmare Moon in the first place. And before leaving, he turned to his little brother and said, “I'm not Prince Nox anymore... I am Pitch Black now.”

And when Celestia was ten and Luna was five, Nox, now called Pitch Black, had declared war on all of the Alicorn ponies of the globe and threatened to take over and destroy everything they loved. Galaxia and Astrum led their army to fight against Pitch, but he and his forces were much stronger. But just before anything else could happen, Astrum and Galaxia used the remains of their magic to lock Pitch in an ink black crystal and banish him somewhere far away where no pony or creature would ever find him. But because of the war Pitch had caused, all of the Alicorns that fought in it, including Celestia and Luna's parents, had been destroyed and/or massacred by Pitch's forces before he was imprisoned and the Alicorns almost went extinct... except for Celestia and Luna, of course

So for years I have always pondered on the ‘Atmos, world of a thousand mountain top kingdoms’. I’ve always wanted to create a map of Atmos—and I may in the future—with all the terra continents on. But for now, more for the fandom’s enjoyment and use, I’ve collected a number of terra names that could be potentially used for fanfiction stories, character creations and origins, and potentially used for naming these 1000 mountain top kingdoms. Most of these words are Latin origin and have beautiful sky/weather/element meanings. For example; A personal terra I use in my OCs background is Terra Sol, Sol is Latin for Sun - This is a name for a dusty, hot, exotic, desert based terra.

Terra Caelum - Caelum is Latin for sky, heaven; air, climate, weather; (figurative) height of success, glory.

Terra Astrum - Asturm is Latin for star, heavenly body, constellation; a great height; heaven, immortality, glory.

Terra Sol - Sol is Latin for sun; sunlight, sun's heat; (poetry) day; (myth) Sun god.

Terra Ros - Ros is Latin for dew, moisture, clamminess, damp, dampness, water.

Terra Nix - Nix is Latin for snow, accumulated snows.

Terra Crustallos - Crustallos is Latin for ice, rock crystal, crystal-ware.

To be certain that Light was not taking too much upon themselves, as they had a tendency to do, Nox asked if there was anything with which she could help them, perhaps by being a listening ear, or by giving advice on how to manage their thoughts; but Light smiled gently, and said they were thinking about an offer they had received a while ago, but they wished to take their mind off of it for now.

Wandering around the streets of the Empire, heading to the outskirts of town, neither Nox nor Light said much, but still, they appreciated the presence of their friend, and quick, yet kind glances to the other spoke volumes; when they reached the fields, Nox pointed out to Light the roads to follow were not as refined as the ones within the city, and they would need to be mindful of their injury.

Pausing for a moment to feel their bandaged chest before walking into the fields, Light barely felt any pain from their wounds, which they were very relieved about; however, since they were with Nox, whom they knew held a magical, soothing aura around her, they knew they would need to stay careful, and they thanked her for warning them, before they stepped into the grass, and found their balance.

Not worrying, for a moment, about the next step they would need to take, with no more scheduled for the day, and plenty of time to make room for new events, should any appear, the two spent some time enjoying a gentle breeze in the Sun, wonderful scents of patches of flowers and berry bushes lining the fields, and the adorable sounds of a herd of Crystal Sheep being led away, far in the distance.

However, as they walked through the fields, Light felt a sudden, sharp pain in their hoof, and they asked Nox to wait a moment, as they sat down to check for any dirty rubbish which could be harmful, though when they looked, both they and Nox were surprised to find the pin she had thrown away, some time prior, which held her form of Astrum, after her discord with Lord Shining, just before dinner.

Save for their hoof, which only had a minor scratch, Light was alright, apart from the sudden shock of the pin sticking into their hoof, so they got up, but before they continued, they turned to Nox, and asked her if there was anything she wished to do with the pin, for they understood it served as a reminder to an unpleasant memory, and they would help her get rid of it if she wanted their help.

After a moment of consideration, she asked Light for the pin, for while her form of Astrum, who was only meant to hide her true form for a short while, may have been fouled with the fear and anger of Lord Shining towards her, the pin itself was still quite beautiful, and it reminded her of her home and her family, and she knew the memory which had been bound to it would not last the test of time.

With a gentle smile, Light gave her the pin, which she placed underneath her wing as to not lose it while they were in the grassy fields, after which, they continued walking across the terrain, where they took care when crossing the rails for the first time since they entered the Empire; here, when they crossed, they felt the temperature change, and though they stayed warm, they quickly returned.

As soon as they stepped back into the grass fields, as they put their hoof, and paw, to their face, they remembered their journey hither on the train, and how treacherously cold their passage through the mountains was; evidently, the protective, warming power of the Crystal Heart did not reach very far outside of the bounds of the Empire, and the cold lingered, even if it was not as cold as then.

Though they were in the light of the Sun, whose warmth they now adored even more than before, still feeling the frost on their coats, Nox and Light decided that had been enough for the day and turned back to head to the Palace; when they passed the last street before reaching the Palace, however, a whistle was heard, followed by the sounds of barked commands, and marching, and they stepped aside.

The one Pony she wished to avoid for a while, leading a legion in training…
