Nokiah Nesya Penangkap Hantu

Sore itu adalah sore yang tidak akan pernah terlupakan olehku. Kejadian ini terjadi saat aku berusia 10 tahun. Sore itu aku sedang bermain dengan teman sebayaku. Kami sedang asyik mengobrol di teras rumahku.

Seperti yang dibilang orang-orang, saat sore menjelang magrib tidak boleh keluar rumah. Lebih baik di dalam rumah saja dan tutup pintu. Aku teringat dengan kata-kata itu. Sampai sekarang aku pikir perkataan itu ada benarnya. Saat magrib aku dan teman-temanku masih aja asyik dengan obrolan kami sambil tertawa terpingkal-pingkal di teras rumahku.

Tapi dua menit kemudian… Tiba-tiba kakakku keluar dari dalam rumah sambil membawa gawainya. Dia mendatangi kami dan bertanya. Sambil memasang wajah kebingungan. “Coba kalian lihat ini gambar apa?” tanya kakakku sambil menunjukkan sebuah foto kepada kami.

Saat kami semua berada di teras rumah, hanya dia seorang diri dan anjing peliharaanku yang bernama Kolin yang ada di dalam rumah pada saat itu. Entahlah. Kakakku bilang saat itu dia melihat Kolin sedang duduk di ruang belakang daerah dapur rumah kami dengan pose yang sangat bagus untuk diajak foto. Lalu kakakku tanpa berpikir panjang mengabadikan foto berdua dengan anjing peliharaanku.

Awalnya, beberapa kali jepret hasilnya bagus. Namun yang terakhir ini kok berbeda? Hasil jepretnya hanya gambar lantai dan rambut terurai panjang tanpa ada wajahnya. Jujur, aku menuliskan kisah ini jadi merinding.

Kakakku menceritakan kronologis itu kepada aku dan teman-temanku. Namanya kami masih anak kecil jadi tidak terlalu tahu soal itu. Aku berpikir itu hanya sebuah kesalahan saja. Mending foto ulang aja. Tapi kakakku memutuskan untuk tidak berfoto lagi sore itu. Namun dia masih menyimpan foto itu.

Saat orang rumahku sudah berada di rumah, kakakku bertanya pada kedua orangtuaku dan abangku. Saat mereka ditanyai pun mereka hanya menjawab itu hanya sebuah kesalahan saja. Mungkin waktu mau mengambil gambar, tangan kakakku goyang makanya ngeblur gitu. Padahal kalau diperhatikan lagi jelas foto itu seperti seseorang dengan wajah abstrak. Persis seperti kuntilanak.

Keesokan harinya, kakakku bertanya pada teman-temannya di sekolah. Beberapa temannya ada yang mengatakan bahwa itu memang foto hantu. Namun tidak sedikit juga yang meragukan foto itu. Masa foto hantu begitu? Kata teman kakakku yang lainnya.

Akhirnya kakakku bertanya pada teman dekatnya yang bernama Novira. Dia bilang, iya betul itu memang foto hantu. Itu kuntilanak. Pantesan terjepret karna kakakku berfoto waktu magrib. Temannya menyarankan agar kakakku lebih bagus segera menghapus foto itu.

Aneh bin ajaib, saat foto itu dihapus oleh kakakku dengan mata yang sangat jelas, foto itu memang sudah terhapus. Tapi kenapa saat kakakku iseng melihat kembali isi galerinya, foto itu masih tetap ada. Padahal tadi sudah dihapus. Kakakku setengah mati ketakutan dan melapor soal ini ke Papaku.

Tampaknya Papaku tidak terlalu cemas soal ini. Papaku mengambil gawai kakakku dan melihat kembali foto itu. Papa menasehati kakakku agar tidak berfoto saat menjelang magrib. Setelah itu Papaku menghapus foto tersebut, dan akhirnya terhapus. Betul, sudah tidak ada lagi di galeri kakakku.

Tapi… Keesokkan harinya, kakakku jatuh sakit. Aneh banget! Tiba-tiba kakakku menelepon Papa untuk menjemputnya ke sekolah. Katanya dia merasa tidak enak badan. Setelah di rumah, badannya mulai teras panas banget! Mual dan muntah-muntah. Kakakku juga mengalami mencret sampai akhirnya dia dehidrasi. Anehnya, dia sama sekali tidak ada makan makanan yang aneh-aneh. Tapi kenapa bisa mencret begitu?

Seminggu kakakku tidak masuk sekolah dan saat itu Papa berencana membawanya ke rumah sakit. Dokter bilang kakakku hanya sakit biasa saja. Butuh istirahat beberapa hari ini. Yaudah kakakku izin tidak masuk sekolah beberapa hari karna sakit. Puji Tuhan, dua hari kemudian keadaan kakakku semakin membaik. Hingga akhirnya dia bisa kembali bersekolah. Tapi tidak sampai disitu ceritanya.

Dua hari kemudian tiba-tiba Mamaku sakit. Kakinya bengkak yang sangat tidak masuk akal. Mamaku seorang penjahit. Kami berpikir, oh mungkin Mama terlalu keras bekerja dengan mesin jahitnya makanya kakinya bengkak. Nyatanya, Mamaku bilang dia tidak seberat itu bekerja dengan mesin jahitnya. Ini terasa aneh buat Mamaku.

Kami pikir kaki Mama akan sembuh dengan sendirinya kalau menghentikan sementara jadwal menjahit. Ternyata tidak. Malah makin parah sampai membuat kami bingung. Kenapa bisa sampai bernanah begini kaki Mama? Lalu kami putuskan membawa Mama ke dokter. Dokter bilang kaki Mama infeksi. Butuh waktu seminggu lebih agar Mama bisa pulih dan kembali menjahit lagi.

Ah, akhirnya Mama sembuh juga. Tapi tunggu dulu, belum kelar. Kami benar-benar percaya bahwa itu foto hantu setelah aku dan abangku jatuh sakit bersamaan. Dalam waktu bersamaan aku dan abangku merasa tidak enak badan. Kami demam, flu dan batuk. Aneh. Kenapa bisa bersamaan gitu? “Apa jangan-jangan karna foto yang kemarin itu?” tanyaku dalam hati. Kami dibuat mikir jadinya.

Untung Papaku sering tugas keluar kota. Meski awalnya kami merasa cemas juga, apakah Papa jatuh sakit juga disana? Kasihan kalau sampai sakit disana, tidak ada yang mengurus Papa. Ternyata tidak, Papa disana baik-baik aja. Yang ada malah Papa yang khawatir sama kami yang ada disini.

Itu benar-benar kejadian nyata yang berhasil membuat bulu kudukku jadi naik terus. Setiap kali menceritakan kejadian itu rasanya takut banget. Meski kejadian itu udah lama banget. Kalau sekarang umurku 22 tahun, berarti kejadian itu 12 tahun yang lalu. Tepat saat aku masih duduk di bangku sekolah dasar dan abang kakakku duduk dibangku sekolah menengah atas. Ih seeereeemmmmm!

Sakitnya bisa barengan. Ganti-gantian. Duluan kakak yang sakit, baru Mama, lalu disusul aku dan abangku. Saat kakakku sakit itu teman dekatnya yang bernama Novira itu bertanya-tanya, kenapa bisa sakit selama itu? Padahal kalau demam biasa hanya dua hari udah sembuh. Teringat dengan foto hantu itu yang berhasil tertangkap oleh kamera gawai milik kakakku.

Kabar baiknya, semenjak kejadian itu kakakku percaya kalau hantu itu ada. Biasanya dia tidak percaya, tapi kali ini dia kapok. Dia jadi mulai takut berfoto setiap menjelang magrib.

Aku masih ingat persis seperti apa sosok yang ada pada foto itu. Kalau disuruh menggambarkan di atas kertas putih dengan pensil sih bisa. Soalnya masih membekas banget dalam ingatan. Kadang kalau melewati atau melihat ruangan belakang dapur itu pun jadi suka teringat sama foto itu. Untungnya, kami sudah pindah beberapa tahun yang lalu. Jadi tidak merasa dihantui lagi oleh kejadian itu.

What would they like to be called...

In general, all of the ROs would be happy with any pet name. In fact, most of them would preen when called by a pet name! The only real exception is with Andrai, who would probably get too embarrassed over some of the more ridiculous pet names out there (like ‘honey-melon sugar-pie’ type ridiculous) and would ask not to be called them. Otherwise, have at!

What they call their partner(s)...

Mira Twilight

Mira tends to use 'love' for casual endearment, like "Of course, love, I'll take care of it." Once they know it’s okay to use a pet name, they usually end up using it more than their partner’s actual name in casual conversation. When it comes to sincere or emotional moments, they add a possessive and switch to 'my love'.

In the poly route... Mira has a habit of playfully calling Nova ‘sugar’ as their casual pet name, and much like with MC, they start using it more often than they do their actual name. With sincere or emotional moments, Mira sticks with ‘my love’, or, if referring to both Nova and MC at the same time, switches to ‘my loves.’

Nova Dreamreaver

Nova isn't too big on casual pet names and is more likely to just use someone's name. However, if they're teasing someone or being sarcastic, they’ll often use use 'darling'. When they are being sincere or emotional, they will start peppering in the occasional pet name, specifically ‘sweet thing.’ This is mainly because they are trying to mask how emotional they really are by trying to frame it flirtatiously.

In the poly routes... Nova’s general habits with casual pet names remain mostly the same in both their available poly routes, preferring to use their partner’s names unless they’re teasing or being sarcastic. When they are being sincere or emotional, for Mira they will use ‘sunshine’ and for Stella they will use ‘honey bee.’

Stella

Stella uses pet names constantly in casual conversation, usually sarcastically, as insincere flirtations, or just as friendly teasing. Most commonly they will call people ‘babe’ or ‘hun’. Thus, their version of a casual pet name is to actually use someone's proper title (or a title of their own making, if a proper one isn’t applicable), so 'Seer' in the case of MC. In casual conversation, though, they still pepper in plenty of ‘babe’s and ‘hun’s. When Stella is being sincere or emotional, they express their affection by actually using their partner’s name.

In the poly route... Stella gives Nova the same constant pet name treatment, and since Nova does not have a proper title, they have dubbed them ‘Dreamwalker.’ Similarly, when being sincere or emotional, Stella will use Nova’s name.

Désiré Desrosiers

Désiré doesn't use pet names casually at all. In general, if he's calling you a pet name, he always means it with sincerity and emotion. 'My love' or 'my darling' are his go-to, but the biggest endearment for Dez is an action rather than words. Namely, that he will start speaking against Seer's skin as a sign of affection/intimacy.

Vittore Simone Armati

Vittore Simone uses some casual endearments platonically, which is a common cultural practice in Chepria. In such cases, he usually uses ‘urso’ (’darling’ in Cheprian), but sometimes says 'dear' in Common. Casual romantic endearments are always in Cheprian, like ‘che igni’ (my sweet), ‘che bepriese’ (my beauty), or ‘rovi’ (honey). When Vittone is being sincere or emotional, he uses ‘che cietto’ (my treasure). When he's especially in his feelings, he’ll use ‘che piugio/che piugio prippi’ (my heart/my whole heart).

Andrai Freestrider

Andrai struggles with expressing himself, especially emotionally, so pet names are few and far between and usually only used if he's having a very emotional moment. In casual settings, he's more the type where him calling you a fool or other mild insult is actually affectionate and means he cares. For those aforementioned sincere or emotional moments, he'll either use his partner’s name or a traditional ‘my love.’

Vzridmi Ri'kho’ve

Vzridmi will use pet names casually with anyone she's fond of, both platonically and romantically. Usually those pet names are along the lines of ‘hun’ or ‘dear.’ If the relationship is romantic, a few additional casual pet names are added to the retinue and are used liberally. These are all in her native language of Atnachi, and include ‘ada’ (darling) and ‘trini’ (sweetheart). When Mimi is being sincere or emotional she starts to add a possessive to the pet name, most frequently using ‘vna ada’ (my darling).

So new oc:s has been born. And they both play a major role in one of my many stories. I had them in mind but couldn't figure it out how they would look like, until now. They are called Akira & Nova, and are poor humans that got unlucky involved with disguised aliens and ends up on the run with some of them.

Mass Effect Redo

So, I finally got the Legendary Version (after waffling over it) and Damn it Kaidan, you make it too easy for me to fall in love with you.

So I got that biotic booty back in my bed. (love you Kaidan).

But I have to admit that Bioware really didn't think things through did they, especially with Genesis (which I accidently selected to read when I started Mass Effect 2).

This better not mess up my Import Save. I'm not having that shit.

1 - Genesis says Shepard recruited Garrus - Nope, not in this playthrough. I spoke to him but never recruited him and I swear to god, if this screwed up this playthrough, I will scream.

2 - Genesis seems to think Liara was picked up first - nope, I left her to last - even after Vimire because damn it, I'm not having her on my team for any length of time.

3 - Genesis thinks she was there for Novira - again, nope. She was left for last and I did Novira first, saving the Rachni (My Queen - she should have more scenes in ME3 other than being recaptured. She deserved better than that).

4 - Genesis thinks Kaidan thought Shepard was conflicted between Liara and Kaidan...again, nope. Liara was left for last which allowed Shepard to romance Kaidan without any interference or Liara thinking there is something between her and Shepard when there is NOTHING between them because she was left for last and Shepard didn't treat her with kid gloves.

For a company like Bioware who prides themselves on accepting (depending on how you view your games) other people choices, they really didn't think people would leave Liara for last, would not have an interest in Liara or don't bother with Garrus.

(Mostly this is a spiteful thing because Bioware insist on shoving Garrus & Liara down my throat as the best bro/LI)

I wished they had fixed it for the Remaster though - though it would have been more work because damn it, I would have liked it if Liara and Shepard DIDN'T hug when they meet up because dimissive Shepard!!

Siklus pertemanan adalah Pertemuan-Kenalan-Barter nomer ponsel-Saling folow akun sosmed. Dari mulai duduk dibangku kuliah untuk pertama kali, cuman saling cengir2 tipis karena masih canggung dan salah tingkah. Tiap jam istirahat masih bingung mau main kemana, sama siapa, makan nasi atau sekedar jajan cemilan dikantin?.Salah satu teman baru mengajak “kosan aku yu” sampe ke semua temen2 kelas (cewek) dia ajak kekosan. Tak lama proses pertemanan pun mulai terlihat dari curhat2an kecil patah hati sampai keluarga juga isi galeri ponsel yang penuh dengan foto2 grupi (hmmmm cewek). Akhirnya tiap istirahat aku memilih istirahat dikosan “Cindy” Ya itulah nama temanku yang punya kosan, karena rumah dia jauh. Bisa dibilang “Kosan Cindy adalah pemersatu kawan” wkw. Seiring berjalannya waktu sudah saling kenal dan sudah saling tahu plus minus dr teman2ku ini. Masalah2 kecil sampai pertengkaran yang mulai membesar. Pernah saling pecah tapi akhirnya bersatu kembali. Semakin dekat bahkan semakin mengenal dan menerima satu sama lain. Boleh deh kita kenalan dulu dengan mahluk2 kosan yang menyebalkan tapi bikin selalu sayang terus.

Power that any assassin, trapped in a room where one suspect will not leave alive, would be remiss to not take full advantage of. 

 "Isn't that right-" her gaze snapped to Shanriel. "Lady Shanriel? You have been careful to lead in the questioning, without tossing accusations to draw unwanted suspicion. You have already admitted to a willingness for deceit with your claim you had ventured to clean up after your High King's mess." She paused, glancing to Varian. "Though I respect Lo'Gosh enough to not lose his temper and I doubt it would actually result in an execution if you had ended Marris yourself. Political power brings with it a sense of immunity in such investigations. At best, we would see this as a cause for another war. I doubt the High King wishes for that anymore than the Horde."

Raern's gaze returned to Shanriel with a hum. "But you lack such power. You spoke of not travelling to Quel'thalas in years, but I doubt you have lost all contacts in our fair homeland. Friends, perhaps, who now frequent Murder Row? Dealing in lies and death? How difficult would it really be to secure a vial of bloodthistle poison and have it transported to Dalaran? Especially with your ties to Archmage Proudmoore, I'm sure she would have suffered a single sin'dorei courier in her great city if you had asked. With the anti-magic field, how else were you to dispose of Marris, if not with poison? Mages are not known for their strength." 

She turned on the rest of the room with a flourish, pacing slowly, heels clicking resoundingly against the floor. "The timeline remains similar, though I suspect Shanriel sought means of disposing of the vial before she sought to have her clothing washed in the laundry room, resulting in Marni's accidental poisoning. I believe the tunnels played no role in this, as surprising as they may be. Yenn was merely lucky to have found them, as they avoided many keen eyes in this room. I suspect few know of their existence, besides Lord Poshui himself.

"As for a motive, I see a few options." She held up her right hand, the metallic cuff she wore catching a ray of light in a dramatic display. Raising her index finger, she continued, "One: a deep seated animosity toward the Ranger-Lord's position in Quel'thalas. Despite claims of turning over a new leaf, even I can admit that our people's racism is deep rooted and difficult to exterminate. There were many magisters who lost reputation from Marris' success." Her middle finger joined her index. "Two: an attempt to weaken the Forsaken specifically, instead of the Horde. The Alliance has displayed interest in reclaiming Lordaeron before, following the Wrathgate. Perhaps if there was destabilization in Undercity, this would be easier to achieve." She turned her cold gaze on Shanriel. "... and what better way to achieve that then to attempt to frame the Dark Lady for the death of her most chosen? It was known few Forsaken would be in attendance tonight - you couldn't have known that I had such intimate knowledge of Forsaken Law in order to proclaim the Dark Lady's innocence." She lowered her hand with a smirk. "It would have been an interesting ploy, if you could have pulled it off.

"Either way, intent is hardly as important as action. It matters little why Shanriel did it, only that she did." Raern came to halt before the inspector. "And before eyes of blame turn to me for my own eagerness to see this investigation done, I would like to draw attention to my alibi - I was with Lord Poshui, or seen by the Dark Lady and Ranger Heartpride, when the poisoning could have occurred. And if that is not enough for you, if you think I possess some foolish motive to see the Ranger-Lord I helped train come to his final death... why would I have killed Marris here, when I walk freely in Undercity and have access to the places he frequents? A place I am familiar with and could have planned much more thoroughly. I can assure you, via my service record and those who have known me, I am more than patient enough to wait."
