Oh I realized it today. Tire monitor system alerted me one of the outside duallys was a bit low. Pulled off at the first place I could, which just happened to be a church parking lot. Put in air, start rolling. Tire sensor goes off a few more minutes down the road.

Great. I definitely got a problem and I'm in rural nowhere on a small country highway. I aready have a gas stop in my GPS for twenty minutes up the road and it's a slow leak so--I baby Old Faithful to the town where I'm going to get gas. Figure I can set down there and--

There's a tire shop!

It's a teeny tiny little town and yet there is a tire shop which 1) has a huge drive to handle farm equipment so plenty of room for my caravan 2) it's a Saturday and they still are open.

Turns out one of the new dually stems I had put on this winter had somehow loosened. Half an hour later, stem was tightened, tire had been doubled checked, and I was back on the road. The mechanic even refused to charge me.

And I am heading towards the mountains so, um--yeah. Good thing it loosened today and NOT on some mountainside somehere. Definitely yet another heavenly assist, and yes I am, once again, so so so grateful.

Oh, and this was my view of last night's storm😳 So I am also very thankful that me and the crew just got some thunder and rain with our supper!
