He was literally 100 yards from his mother’s home. He was a professional skateboarder (his favorite activity). —— 5 BLACK officers pull him over during a traffic stop and instead of following protocol (Asking For License & Registration along with informing Tyre on why his was being stopped), they pull hims out of his vehicle and kick and punch him. —— 5 BLACK Officers 5 Individuals Who Are Suppose to SERVE & PROTECT 5 Men Who, On January 7th, Became Monsters and Murderers 5 Souls Who In Reality Have No Soul —— What makes this even more sad is, according to reports, Tyre got free of them and started running towards his mother’s house while calling out to her but somehow those ASSASSINS IN UNIFORM caught up to him and continued to beat him even laughing at their horrific actions. ——— Tyre leaves behind a 4-year old son. ——— Tyre deserved better. Warum Hannah Arendt den Hannah Arendt Preis nicht bekommen könnte ...

Ich hatte bisher große Schwierigkeiten damit, die aktuelle Haltung deutscher Politik in Sachen Palästinakonflikt zu verstehen. Sie ist, und das interessanterweise unisono, ausgesprochen einseitig um nicht zu sagen, auf einem Auge komplett blind. Diese Haltung steht im deutlichen Kontrast zu der früherer Bundesregierungen, wie z.b. als Merkel anläßlich der Intifada von 2018 sehr offen die Aktionen der israelischen Regierung kritisiert hatte. Es war mir auch nicht klar, warum Kritik an den Aktionen der aktuellen israelischen Regierung “quasi-kriminalisiert” wird, in einem eklatanten Widerspruch zum verfassungsmäßigen Recht auf freie Meinungsäußerung. 

Ich hab das nicht kapiert bis ich das Essay von Masha Gessen im Newyorker gelesen habe, das die Aberration offenlegt dass Hannah Arendt in Person heutzutage keinen Hannah Arendt Preise bekommen würde.

Ein Dank an den Spiegel der eine Übersetzung publiziert hat,  aus der ich eine wichtige Passage zitieren möchte:

“Im Jahr 2016 verabschiedete die International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), eine zwischenstaatliche Organisation, folgende Definition: »Antisemitismus ist eine bestimmte Wahrnehmung von Jüdinnen und Juden, die sich als Hass gegenüber Jüdinnen und Juden ausdrücken kann. Der Antisemitismus richtet sich in Wort oder Tat gegen jüdische oder nichtjüdische Einzelpersonen und/oder deren Eigentum sowie gegen jüdische Gemeindeinstitutionen oder religiöse Einrichtungen«. Diese Definition wird von elf Beispielen begleitet, die vom Offensichtlichen – dem Aufruf zur Tötung von Juden oder der Rechtfertigung einer solchen Tötung – über die »Behauptung, die Existenz des Staates Israel sei ein rassistisches Unterfangen« bis hin zum »Ziehen von Vergleichen zwischen der gegenwärtigen israelischen Politik und der Politik der Nationalsozialisten« reichen.

Obwohl diese Definition nicht rechtsverbindlich ist, hat sie einen außerordentlichen Einfluss. Fünfundzwanzig EU-Mitgliedstaaten und das US-Außenministerium haben die IHRA-Definition unterstützt oder übernommen.“

Deutschland gehört natürlich zu denen, die dieses Amalgam an Definitionen von “echten” Antisemitismus (der absolut inakzeptabel ist) und legitimer Kritik an der Politik eines israelischen Staates einfach so übernommen hat. Ohne überhaupt zu hinterfragen, inwieweit dies verfassungsgemäß oder gar praktikabel bzw. moralisch korrekt wäre. 

Es ist mir unverständlich, wie man so einfach durch ein subversives Hintertürchen nicht nur die deutsche Verfassung umgehen kann, sondern auch zahlreiche andere, von Deutschland übernommene völkerrechtliche Vereinbarungen ignorieren kann.

Und es ist mir auch unverständlich, wie man einen guten Ansatz, nämlich Antisemitismus bekämpfen zu wollen, derart korrumpieren kann dass er genau das Gegenteil erreicht: Wer auch nur eine Sekunde denkt, dass das was Israel gerade macht nicht antisemitismusfördernd ist, der hat das Problem nicht kapiert.

Nothing else needs to be said. You can attempt to explain it away, but everyone knows there are TWO “justice” systems. There’s a JUSTICE system and a JUST US system. Instead of getting mad and insulting us why not help us fix it?
