RAHH SCREENSHOT REDRAWâźď¸âźď¸đŚ
Doing these always makes me realise how stylised some of the character designs in this show are, namely Carmenâs massive head and the insane slope of Shadowsanâs shoulders đ
Zack and Ivy are pretty normal tho đ
I love this episode cause wtf was Shadowsan doing dressed like that any where outside VILE, âmaster of being unnoticedâ bbg put some damn trousers on đ

While I do think anon was rude, I do think it's pretty shitty to set up all this stuff you were going to add the au and then just drop it. It's disappointing. Definitely unfollowing.
Bye.
#ask me#anon#once AGAIN.#I am not dropping anything#the au is not getting cancelled. more than likely i'm gonna take a break from it until i find motivation again#But I've been drawing the AU for half a fucking year#In that time I've only drawn 5 things that aren't mlp related#I'm getting tired and my last few posts didn't do as well as I'd hoped#And I'm not about to burn myself out on mlp au art even if I really do love making it#I'm still gonna make comics. I have a bunch of ideas.#Tulli and I still wanna do the limited run merch shop#Discord is still coming. Sunset is still coming. Sombra is still coming. I have so many ideas#But I need to do something else for my own sake. Did you know I was supposed to get the background 6 designs done by now#But I didn't because I'm TIRED#I've been keeping myself on a schedule to keep content pumping despite travel and school and family and I'm tired#what i'm getting isn't matching what i'm giving and that's nobody's fault. i'm not frustrated at anyone. a slump was bound to happen#drawing the au was fun until it become my Thing. Because when your Thingââyour identityââstarts to faulter#it can really make you freak out#And that's not healthy for the project or for myself. I need to find the fun again and I'm sure I will#I'm really appreciative of everyone's support in my inbox and replies it really does mean a lot especially given that about 2/3 of my#followers followed for mlp. But if you're gonna react to me saying âi'm gonna cool down on mlp art and draw my own stuffâ with âi'm#disappointed in you." then Leave! I think it's good you're unfollowing#you are not obligated to stick by my side! But don't act like I'm doing you a disservice by turning my attention elsewhere#I didn't promise anyone anything and I definitely didn't say I'm breaking any promises.

I thought of this with a carnival in mind but feel free to interpret this any way you want. Looking at you, Radioapple shippers
#Hazbin Hotel#Lucifer Morningstar#Lucifer Magne#Alastor#Fanart#I love their dynamic so much#There are still things I'm not completely happy with but this took embarrassingly long and if I look at this any longer I'll go insane#So yeah. I thought the idea was funny#I hope nobody has thought of this yet. And if somebody has don't tell me bfjsjsjw#Yeah I'm still frothing at the mouth#The songs and characters have been bouncing around in my head ever since the show came out#Oh btw I changed their outfits just a teeny tiny bit#Namely the buttons and Lucifer's collar#Can you tell I had no idea what to do with the background#And that I have zero idea how to draw hands#Yeah those were not fun to draw. So yeah. Started making it had a breakdown bon appetite#My posts#My art#Swearing#Okay yeah click on the pic for not fucked up quality. Thanks Tumblr

Tendou rocking his new collab jacket at the skatepark. Because everyone in haikyuu deserves one.
#Tendou skateboards nobody can change my mind#too lazy to background#I drew the coolest skateboard design I want the board so bad#but it ended up getting in the way of Tendou who is supposed to be the focal point so I removed it#I'll add it to another drawing#I really wanted to do more but this took way too much time than I originally planned#drawing the skateboard poses was completely new territory for me#it def makes me happy to look at though and that's what matters <3#haikyuu#tendou satori#shiratorizawa#haikyuu fanart#happys art#happys headcanons#hokkyokugitsune art#haikyuu headcanons#collaboration jacket

#vent#tw vent#vent in the tags#screaming in the void#okay so.#I know I don't post regularly#and maybe it's because I switch fandoms a lot but#I just wish my art would be reblogged more#and I know that it's silly and I'm probably being annoying by saying this#but it just feels really discouraging for me to post something and get a maximum of 7 notes - if I'm lucky - most if not all of which#are likes. and don't get me wrong!! I really appreciate the likes! it's good and I'm glad you like my art!!#but this site lives off of reblogs - sharing things that you like onto your own blog so that others who could potentially also like this#can find it and share it perhaps onto their blogs#if there are only likes then nobody else gets to see it and it eventually fades into the background and get lost.#I tried reblogging my own art from a while ago cuz I thought maybe that would help but. it didn't change anything. it's still all likes#if any engagement happens at all. it's frustrating because it makes me feel like what I post isn't worth being shared.#like it's not good enough. which I know! realistically is not the case but! that doesn't stop me from feeling like it#I don't know what I'm trying to say with this. I'm not trying to force anyone or guilt trip them into reblogging#of course not. no one is obligated to do anything I just. wish more people reblogged my art because yea. I *draw* for myself#but I do *post* it with the intention of it being seen and appreciated by others#that it might bring them as much joy seeing it as it did me creating it#I'm just tired#if you've read this far thank you. I really appreciate you. I love you and I hope you have a really good day <3

ŕŠâŠâ§âË day seven!! yay!! kinda want to draw this one wc: 1.3k masterlist â.ŕłŕż*:シ
âIâd love to talk more about your plans, you can let my assistant know and weâll set up a meeting⌠thank you so muchâŚâ Your husband smiles charmingly, shaking the hand of another higher up. Someone with money and status. This entire room is full of money and diamonds. Shaking the hand of the man, his other arm draped around your waist and keeping you close. Youâre the only reason he can even stand events like this. He keeps up the forced smile. But only you know itâs mostly fake. Itâs not the same smile he wore when you said âI doâ or the smile you wake up to in the morning.Â
âLetâs get out of here, babeâŚâ He whispers in your ear once the group of guests finally disperse. Everyone whoâs here, mingling around the vast space, drinking, laughing and talking. The rich and influential here to network. Itâs an Alchemax charity event after all. âYouâre the CEO, Mig, you canât just leaveâŚâ You smile, adjusting his black tie over his chest, the knot at the top and the material smoothed down his broad chest under his jacket.Â
âIâve already shaken enough hands, I wanna shake youâŚâ He jokes, a bad joke at that, nuzzling his face into your neck for a moment, rolling your eyes at his unapologetic displays of affection in this crowded room. Unable to stop the smile on your lips. âYou wanna shake me?â Your brow raises teasingly, pretending you donât already know. âIâm not sure I know what you meanâŚâ You sigh, sipping your drink through the little straw. Making him roll his eyes now.Â
âWhat I mean is I want to have sex with you, mi amorâŚâÂ
He says it so clearly and a little too loud. Making your eyes widen. But nobody seems to notice. âI wanna take you home⌠rip that dress off⌠bend you over and have you all to myselfâŚâ He says low and sultry, right in your ear. âYou understand what I mean now?â He murmurs, his big hand moving from your lower back to your ass. Unashamed; just grabbing a handful, running his fingers over the silky fabric of your dress. Pressing himself to your hip so you can feel him, standing you between his legs.Â
âControl yourselfâŚâ You sigh, looking away, looking around to see if anyoneâs giving you looks. He is the man of the hour as usual. âWeâre not leaving⌠not when you have to give a speech in 30 minutesâŚâÂ
âCâmon baby⌠you look too good. I donât care about all thisâŚâ He whispers, wrapping both arms around you, pulling you closer, finding your eyes, always wanting eye contact. He does look so good. In that suit you love. The pressed collar and stark black and white. Reminds you of marrying him all over again every time you see him in a suit like that.Â
âWhat are you proposing? Iâm not letting you skip out on this speech. All these people are here to hear you speak.â You say, wanting to know what he wants to do about it. Heâs stubborn and for the genius he is, he sometimes doesnât even consider the facts. That youâre surrounded by people and low on time. Not a lot of options.Â
âI have an ideaâŚâÂ
âŚÂ
His hands are hungry, his lips even hungrier, latching onto your neck and practically pushing you down the hall. The sounds of the live quartet and conversation fading in the background, backing down the hall towards his office door. And when your back presses against the cold glass door, heâs on you, not leaving you without his touch for long. Hands running down your waist to your bum, kissing your lips, dipping his tongue into your mouth and swirling it around yours. One of his hands reaches towards the panel on the wall while his face dips into your neck. Absentmindedly pressing his fingers on the reader to scan his fingerprint and open the damn door already. Pressing his erection into your tummy through his pants, through your dress. His need for you. When the door finally slides open, he doesnât waste any time, scooping you up with his arms under your thighs, picking you up like itâs nothing and walking to his desk.Â
âWe should do quickies more oftenâŚâ He grins, setting you down on the metal desk, feeling like a couple of teenagers doing something naughty. Hands immediately moving around to the zipper on your back as he kisses your reddened neck, pulling it down gently and watching the fabric relax over your chest and shoulders. You stand up for a moment to step out of it, letting it pool at your heels. Looking up at him and he presses one kiss to your lips, tender and soft. Then one more to the column of your throat. He leans back up, pulling at the knot in his tie to get it off.Â
âWait wait-â You urge him, looking up at the confused look on his face as he freezes. âCan you leave it on?â
âLeave it on, baby?â He laughs softly, pushing your hair behind your ear.Â
âYeah justâŚâ You look down, pulling at his metal belt buckle, the clinks of the cold material around your fingers, pulling it open. Undoing his fly, releasing some of the tension in his pants which have grown quite tight. Once his pants are undone, your hands run up his shirt, under the material, feeling his hot skin and his abdomen moving with every breath. âLeave it onâŚâÂ
âŚÂ
âFeel that baby? Feels good?â He huffs, a hand in your hair, the other on your lower back keeping you pressed to the desk as he bottoms out. Buried deep in your dripping pussy and staying there, stretching you out. Bent over the edge of the metal structure, panties lazily pulled to the side to allow him access. âMmm Miguel please⌠feels so goodâŚâ
It does feel good. To be filled to the brim, taking him all the way to your cervix. His tip kissing all your deepest spots, brushing past the places that have you on your tippy toes. And when he pulls out to thrust back inside, your mind melts. Moaning loud against the cold surface, feeling him piston back in. Coating his length in your slick and the pumps becoming easier and easier as he keeps going. Working up a rhythm, his chest heaving and out of breath already. Groaning at the way youâre squeezing him. Like your pussy was made to take his dick like this.Â
His skin slaps against yours, slick and precum making a mess between your thighs, your panties sticky and soiled.Â
âBaby lookâŚâ His words just pass your ears without you even hearing them. Your mind mush and occupied focusing on how fucking good heâs fucking you right now.Â
âBaby look at that⌠look at youâŚâ He huffs, forcing your head up gently with his hand in your hair, careful not to pull too hard but enough so that you can witness the sight. Glancing at the large office windows. The dark outside allows you to see all thatâs going on in the room. Through the reflection in the glass. The sight of him over you, pounding into you from behind. His tie hanging loosely around his neck and his shirt all tussled, his big heavy watch as he grips your hair. Watching yourself get fucked. Watching him watching himself fucking you. Itâs all too much.Â
As if the sight caused some pocket inside you to burst, your eyes clamp shut, crying his name and coming immediately. No warning. Just instantly gushing. His dick pounding into you even as your juices drip and dribble to the floor, flooding around his cock, making him moan and shudder. âOh thatâs a good girlâŚâ He grins, feeling you squirt and gush on him. Hearing the fluttering sounds leaving your sweet lips. âFuckâŚâ He huffs, pumping into you once harder, then even harder again. Slapping against you, making you drip even more as he fucks it all out again. Filling you soon enough with his seed, coming to a sudden stop and letting himself deposit in you with a huff.Â
âŚÂ
About 15 minutes later. Heâs standing at the podium, addressing the hundreds in attendance for his speech about the company. Smiling and glowing and only you know why. Your panties stuffed in his jacket pocket. An oddly pleasant ache between your thighs.Â

đŠđĄđ¨đ§đ đđĄđđŤđŚđŹ | đŚđ˘đ đŽđđĽ đ¨âđĄđđŤđ
you and miguel accidentally move in together when the girls in the spider society dorms are mean to you âa ficlet featuring a reluctantly infatuated miguel and a carefree, ditzy spider-girl. pre across the spider-verse but contains spoilers. requested here. fem!reader, 1.5k
cw mature themes. mdni
ËĘâĄÉË
You're laying in Miguel's bed when he gets back to his dorm room. Or, just his room. He'll be living here for the foreseeable future. It took him some time to calibrate to seeing you among his things, in his bed, but worst of all without your suit âit's like seeing you naked. It catches him off guard every time.Â
You look oddly quiet, though you aren't asleep. He knows that doesn't make any sense, that quiet isn't something you can see, but without your suit it's like stripping back a layer of chaos. In a pyjama pack from some Nueva York department store, you've little cartoon characters on your shorts, and a bigger one across your chest, the lilac purple background pretty against your skin. Your hand is tucked under your face, your phone in the other. You're swiping through a match three game with a small panda mascot that cheers, "WÄ sÄi!" every time you clear a line.Â
You smile and click another button. Miguel bites back his own, letting the door close with a metallic shushing.Â
"Hey," you say, without looking up. "Are you okay?"Â
"Why wouldn't I be okay?"
"I thought asking that would get me a better answer than, 'how are you?'"Â
"I'm fine."Â
You laugh under your breath as he makes a beeline for his closet. "See," you say, like it's very funny, "what a useless question."
"How are you?" he asks.
He turns off his suit. Abruptly naked, Miguel is past caring if you see him. He wasn't shy to begin with, and it's nothing you haven't seen now.Â
Finding you a room to stay in away from the mean girls in your dormitory turned to letting you stay with him until he had a chance to find one, which then turned to you sleeping in his bed because you'd already kissed, so what use was having you on a futon? Which turned to kissing in bed, which turned to other things. Peace, for once. Sweaty hours spent with his armed wrapped around your shoulders, your front, his face pressed into your neck. The hours after, your hands in his hair, your lilting murmuring against the shell of his ear.Â
He didn't mean for it to happen.
He can't say he regrets it, either. Though it scares him.Â
"CariĂąo?" he prompts, stepping into a pair of sweatpants.
"Sorry, what did you say?" you ask, setting your phone down on the bedside table.Â
He can't be mad at the phone for distracting you. That's the whole reason he got it for you, purple and shiny and foldable, something he knew would draw and keep your attention when he's not around. You're having a hard time making friends, and there's not always stuff for you to do within the Society. It was a gift for himself as well as you, he wanted to know you weren't sitting alone in your room (his room) with nothing to do.Â
"How are you?"
"I made you a charm for you phone," you say.Â
You insisted he have a phone too so you could text him. He groaned, complained, grumbled, but it is the very best part of his day when he gets to turn on his stupid pink phone and see you've texted him a photo of the bedroom floor, one of your crafts in front of you, a socked foot and naked ankle in the corner of the picture.Â
"That's not how you are," he says after he's pulled on a t-shirt. Miguel treks back into the main part of the room and sits at the bottom of the bed. He pulls your feet into his lap because nobody can tell him not to, quick to press a thumb into the arch of your foot. You're wearing fuzzy socks. "That's what you did. How are you? You didn't come and see me today, what's with that?"Â
"Sorry, I made such a huge mess earlier I had to clean and it took hours and by the time I was done I thought I better shower." Your smile is magnetic.Â
"It doesn't have to be spotless."Â
"It's not my room. I'm not an asshole."Â
Miguel's not used to this⌠anymore. And things are different with you than they'd been before: you know him for who he is, this version of him, the mean, short-tempered, spiky him, where Gabri and her mother had known someone else. Still him, still real, but different. His head aches whenever he remembers âand he remembers all of the timeâ but being with you helps that. You're not her, and you don't have to be.Â
You know Miguel at his worst, and you like him anyway. It has to count for something.Â
"It's not not your room," he says carefully, hand running up your leg to your knee. He strokes back down, a lazy back and forth.Â
"I know I've overstayed," you say, "but that's your fault."
"That's my fault."Â
Miguel pulls your legs down enough to make your head flop off of his pillow, hoping for a disgruntled grunt or a whined, "Miguel." You stay flopped on your back and don't say anything, to his displeasure. He sighs and pulls you bodily into his lap, scooping you up with little energy expelled.Â
"I forget how strong you are," you say, in his lap like a princess carry, eyelashes kissing the skin under your brows as you look up at him.Â
"How can you forget?"Â
"I don't know, especially when you toss me around like a half full sack of flour. I think I have a bruise from your hand last night," you say, pulling your leg up across the other, knee away from him where you're in his lap to show him the underside of your thigh. Miguel tries not to blush at the memory, but the ghost of a dork at his core knows how salacious it is to have your girlfriend in your lap with her shorts pushed down, showcasing skin you bruised during a particularly rough moment. "Can you see? It feels sore."Â
A mottling of wine-stain contusion in the shape of his hand indeed takes station at the base of your thigh. It's not bad. If you had better enhancements you'd have healed by now, but your particular spider wasn't anything special.
"PerdĂłname," he says under his breath, brushing over it lightly with his thumb.Â
"It doesn't matter, don't be sorry, I was just wondering if it was really real." You let your leg drop heavily on top of his. Nothing but adoring shines in your eyes as you smile. "I don't care, Miguel."
"I didn't mean toâ"Â
"I know."Â
He lifts his chin as you sit up in his lap. You kiss his neck, his jaw, and the skin below his ear, your smile audible as you murmur, "I liked it. I kind of like having the bruise, too. Don't feel bad."Â
He'd felt the opposite of bad in the moment. "You're sure I didn't hurt you?" he asks quietly.Â
He doesn't look down, can't, not until he knows. You comb your fingers through the hair at the back of his neck. "I'm sure," you say. "As if you could."Â
"Oh, is that how it is?" he asks, trying hard not to laugh.Â
"That's so how it is."Â
He finally faces you again, pretending like he might gear up for a fight. He holds your gaze, brows set, eyes severe. "Show me the charm you made me," he demands.Â
You laugh through your nose and climb out of his lap. "You're gonna love it. It looks like a jellyfish."Â
He can't imagine how having a jellyfish charm hanging from his phone will go down with the girls, but he finds he doesn't mind. Having something you made with your own two hands is too special to pass up.Â
âI made one for myself, too,â you say, digging through your box of beads to find the charms you made. You turn around holding both to your chest, your pride endearing.
âYours isn't on your phone.â
You flicker with an uncharacteristic bashfulness. âWell, I only wanted to have them if we both had them, and I don't know if youâre okay with having one. Itâs sort of loud.â
âIf loud bothered me, youâd know by now,â he teases. He holds out his hand, gesturing when you donât take it. âCome on, come back. Show me how to put it on my phone case.â
All his added sweetness is worth it to feel your smile as you clamber back into the space between his thighs and duck your face into his neck, hugging him quickly, arms thrown around his neck. âYouâre the best,â you say quietly.Â
He really doesnât feel like it, but hearing you say it is a load off. He relaxes under your weight, thinking your shared cohabitation might be one of the best accidents he's ever had.Â

The torn bond of friendship
The silence between us every time we meet makes my heart ache.
You avert your gaze just so you don't have to look me in the eye. I know that you don't hate me. But to be honest, I'd rather have your hate than your pity.
You wish things had gone differently. But I can't change for you the way you would like me to. Nevertheless, you are important to me.
(You always will be.)
[I tried to put myself in his shoes and that's how these few lines came about. The background in the illustration is a photo I took, it's the view from my window.]
The artist's commentary â psychological aspect/my two centsâŚ
->
Nobody is perfect, no human being is.
Especially not adolescent teenagers who literally have almost no idea about life. Who lack empathy, compassion, maturity, experience and so many other things. All of us have certainly lost a friend at some point in our childhood or adolescence. Close friendships at a young age and the experiences associated with them can have a strong influence on our behavior later in life. All of a person's first intensive relationships with family, friends, etc., whether positive or negative, shape their world view and character immensely.
We can't expect a young person to be flawless and perfect. Maturity comes with years and experience. It is not uncommon for children and youth to be self-centered and egocentric, but that does not make them bad people. To a certain extent, selfishness is even important. As we grow up, we learn to act autonomously, make decisions and form our own opinions. It is clear that we can make mistakes during this process and possibly hurt others. We all make mistakes on our journey through life, that is part of growing up. That is a part of this life.
I have to remind myself each time that they were practically still children as at that time.
Sorry for my poor English, itâs not my native language. I do my best though. Thanks for reading đ¤
(Additional edit 10.02.2024 Tumblr confuses me a little bit, i was wondering why my previous image lost itâs quality after uploading. It took me too long to draw and i need to show the details. Anyways for better detailed view -> Iâve split the artwork. đ)

Intoxicating Desire
Pairings: Logan Howlett x fem! mutant reader
Summary: You and Logan have always been close friends, you knew everything about each other and did everything together. The only thing Logan doesn't do, is sit where your power is strongest: the greenhouse. Logan has never seen or heard about your power.
Word count: 4.8 K
Content Warnings: Explicit (18+ mdni), Smut, dirty thoughts, spitting, spicy tension, age gap, praising kink, no use of y/n, reader has ability to control plants and produce flowers from body, along with other flower related things, borderline sub!, teasing, choking.
A/N: This has been sitting in the back of my mind for the past week, I love me a weak Logan * cries out*. Something about his shell breaking and being putty in our hands makes ME turn to putty. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it.
The greenhouse. The place you go to find solace. Granted, it's the only place you can go to feel your powers fully. With being "graced" with the mutation to control plants, along with sprouting whatever you decide from your body.
The silence. The pure oxygen from the plants. It's otherworldly to you, keeping you chained there for hours, sometimes days. Most of your friends at the mansion know about your mutation. But, it's never spoken per your request. Everyone has such powerful mutations, spectacles of wonder and curiosity, then there's you. The plant girl.
You used to hate the mutation when you were shipped to the mansion at 16. Suppressing it any moment given. Charles spent hours upon hours with you, slowly teaching you to love and use the mutation in beautiful ways. Hank taught you how to control your frustrations and anger, which made it more difficult to control it. Scott... Scott didn't teach anything to you, he just enjoyed watching the show when you did use the mutation.
But Logan? He became your best friend, in the aspects of being your mentor. Taught you how to fight and defend yourself during hand to hand combat. He was there to offer a silent shoulder when you cried about boys, to hanging out with you. In fact, you guys hung out everywhere. Until Charles had the greenhouse built for you shortly after turning 18.
Logan never came to visit you when you would hole yourself up for hours. Nobody did really. The only person that visited you was Hank, but he couldn't handle the humidity as well as you did.
Today was humid, but rain pouring down as if the gods were crying. Which meant you would receive no visitors. The constant assault of rain upon the see through roof provided a lulling background noise, it was almost calming enough to let you rest there.
Logan was walking around the halls, bored out of his mind, he didn't have anything to do so he decided to try and find something or someone to cure his boredom with. He turned the corner and began to approach the greenhouse.
You stood in front of a rose bush, trimming any dead or sick leaves and stems from the bush. The rain was a constant sound, almost drowning out the sound of Logan's knocking before entering the greenhouse.
He stood at the entrance to the greenhouse, peering in at you, watching you for a moment before deciding to interrupt you.
"Hey." He said in a gruff voice.
You jumped in surprise, clutching at your heart before smiling.
"Hey! You finally visiting? Or is it too hot in here for you?"
"Too hot?" He raised a questioning eyebrow and shut the door behind him, the temperature in the room didn't seem to bother him at all.
"Seems fine in here to me."
You nod and laugh "Most of them don't enjoy being in here because it gets fairly humid. I think the rain cooled it down a significant amount today." as you gesture to the roof with the plant trimmers before resuming your task.
"Eh, I've been through worse." He shrugged, slowly drawing closer to you, looking over your shoulder to see what you were doing.
You smile again, continuing your work. "I'm cutting any sick or dead stems from the bush. Keeps the plant itself from getting sick or dying."
You look over your shoulder at him. "Would you like a stool? I usually keep one nearby incase Hank or Scott come to visit."
"Nah, I'm fine." He insisted, as he leaned against the wall, he continued to watch you as you worked, he wasn't all that interested in what you were doing with the plant; he was more interested in you to be honest, he'd just never come to check on you as he usually avoided the greenhouse.
"Alright, suit yourself." You shrug your shoulders before doing a final check on the bush, ensuring you didn't leave any behind. You take a step back and smile at your work.
"Now that's a healthy rose bush if I do say so myself." You walk back to the center of the greenhouse, a midsize willow tree surrounded by stone bricks. You sit down on the stone and pat the empty spot next to you.
He watched you as you sat down and pat next to you, beckoning him to sit with you. Logan pushed himself off the wall and stalked over to you, taking a seat next to you. Even sitting down he still dwarfed you in both size and stature, he leaned against the trunk of the tree but still turned his head to look at you, with an eyebrow raised.
You stare up at the willow, and smile. As you're looking up, you say "Isn't it beautiful? Charles picked the location of the green house for the sole purpose of this willow. It's soothing in a way. Branches drooping, almost sad in a constant melancholy state."
He also looked up at the willow, and he had to agree that it was beautiful. As he watched the branches sway, he also noticed the way that they seemed to droop, as if they were sad.
"It does have a calming presence to it." He agreed as he sat by your side, watching the willow.
You break your gaze from the willow, bringing it to Logan. "So how come you never come to the greenhouse? I'm almost always in here. Granted, no one likes the plant loving mutant and her weird fascination with plants, so I don't blame any of you."
He turned his face to look at you, he thought for a moment in whether he should be fully honest with you or not. He let out a sigh before speaking.
"It's not that I have anything against you, I just ain't a big fan in spending a whole lot of time around plants, or inside for that matter."
You nod your head, listening to him as he spoke. You pat your hands against your lap before you stood in front of him "Do you actually think I'm a mutant... like you?" you say as you place your hands on your hips.
Logan raised an eyebrow curiously as you asked the question. What a strange and out of the blue question to ask, he thought to himself as he looked up at you. He also noticed a shift in your tone. So leaned back against the willow and took a moment to think about his answer, before responding, "If I had to make a guess... I'd think you're a mutant."
You nod your head and smile. "That is correct. But my mutation isn't anything special. So I never use it." You shrug before picking up the trimmers and walk over to a patch of lilacs.
He continued to watch you as you moved over to a different plant. He stood up and followed you to the patch of lilacs. " Why don't you use it? You've been here for years, and I've never seen you do anything different?"
You get down on your knees and slowly start your work on the lilacs "Well it doesn't serve any real purpose, so I don't use it. I'm not a show off like some people in the mansion." You turn your head up at Logan and smile innocently.
He chuckled at your response, "No, you're too sweet to be that kind of person." A thought suddenly crossed his mind, he looked down at the lilacs as you worked on them.
"May I ask you something?"
You smile wider at Logan's compliment and turn your head back to the lilacs "Of course, I'm an open book. You can ask me anything."
He watched you for a moment as you continued to work. He paused for a moment, he was suddenly feeling a bit nervous but he didn't show outward signs of it. "So, what exactly is your mutation then?"
You let out a small sigh and slowly stand up. You walk back to the willow, setting the trimmers down. " I'm a little rusty, it's not something I do often, so bear with me." You say, brushing your hands off on your apron. "Come here" You hold out your hand for Logan to come near.
He watched you as you finished up and put the trimmers down. He raised an eyebrow in curiosity as you held out your hand and gestured for him to come closer. He hesitantly stepped closer towards you.
"Come closer...I need you closer for this." You wave him to come closer. You shake your arms and shoulders, growing nervous as to if you can even do it anymore. You smile and wink at Logan, " This is my favorite party trick. But I save it for special people."
He watched you as you stood in front of him with a nervous smile. He raised his eyebrow as you said it was a "party trick". Still, he was more than intrigued to know what exactly what your trick was. He stepped even closer to you, standing in front of you.
You place your hands softly on Logan's chest, over his heart. I looked up at him, " I need you to think about something or someone you care about or love. Whatever it may be. Okay?" You raise your eyebrows, waiting for an answer.
He took a sharp breath as you placed your hands on his chest. He felt his heart rate pick up as you did so. He looked down at you, noticing you had gotten closer to him. He nodded, he had someone in his mind.
"Alright. I got what I need in mind."
Logan watched in surprise as the green house began to change around the both of you, as vines and branches creeped up the glass walls, making it much darker inside than it was before. He looked up at the roof and saw it covered in vines and branches. He watched as vines slowly crept down, blooming into long tufts of wisteria. He looked back down at you, he was shocked to see you exerting this kind of power. He'd never expected it from someone of your nature. Still, he kept his mouth shut, eager to see what you'd do next.
You let out a ragged breath, searching for any more power you had. Slowly, hues of pinks and purples erupted from your hair. Tiny flowers blossomed, framing your face perfectly. You open your eyes, breathing hard and smiling. Your hands still resting on Logan's chest as you say "Like my party trick?" You look around at the vines and flowers covering the inside of the greenhouse.
He was speechless, he looked around in awe at the greenhouse. Covered in vines, with wisteria everywhere. His eyes fell back down to you as you spoke. He looked over your face, noticing all the tiny flowers framing your pretty face. He blinked a few times in shock, until he finally came back to his sense and spoke, his voice slightly shaky from the shock. "That's a pretty amazing party trick you have there."
You smile and gently remove your hands from Logan's chest. He remained in a daze, watching you pat his chest before removing your hands. You looked up at the ceiling, proud of the show you had put on for Logan, after not using your abilities in at least two years.
You reached up, grabbing a small tuft of wisteria, opening Logan's hand and placing the flower in his hand gently. He felt his heart skip a beat as you grabbed his hand, placing the flower there. He could feel butterflies in his stomach as you looked at him.
Your face grows warm before speaking up, " I do have one little more part of my mutation that I didn't tell you about."
Logan raise an eyebrow slightly at your words, listening intently as you spoke. You'd piqued his curiosity. A part of your mutation that you hadn't told him about? He found that interesting and honestly a bit annoying that you hadn't told him already.
"There's a part to your mutation that you haven't told me about? And what is that part, sweetheart?"
You smile, taking a step back so you could clearly see his face. "You know some flowers release a scent? An almost intoxicating scent that's alluring to the senses?"
He glanced after you as you stepped away from him, watching as you brought your hands to your sides. He nodded his head, already knowing where you're going with this. He was already realizing that you'd been holding something back from him. "Yeah, I know what you're talking about, why?"
You stay silent point to yourself, hoping he makes the connection. It took him a moment, but he soon caught on to what you were hinting at. And as soon as he had, he swore his knees almost buckled at the realization.
"You-your flowers do release a scent that's luring to the senses?"
You nod, "Some of them yes. As an extra boost. But Charles taught me to suppress my emotions and this because it acts as pheromone." You state. You take a few moments in silence. "Would you like to see what I mean?"
He didn't even have to think before nodding his head, he wanted to see un-suppress this little ability of yours, seeing the effects it'd have just out of pure curiosity. " Yeah, I'd like to see what you mean. Go on sweetheart go ahead and show me."
You sit down on the stone by the willow tree and close your eyes. You mentally unravel everything Charles had taught you. Slowly. But surely, a rainbow of colors blossomed within your hair and an intoxicating scent mixed with your pheromones.
Logan was absolutely mesmerized as he watched you sit down and close your eyes, watching in wonder as the normally subtle blossoms in your hair began to explode to an almost dazzling spectrum of colors. And as the intoxicating scent mixed your pheromones, he strange sort of need grow in his chest.
"Sweetheart... What are you doing to me..."
The scent grew stronger, becoming easily detected by the normal senses. It filled the green house, almost creating an invisible haze. The scent was slowly driving Logan crazy. His breathing was getting heavier in response to it, the smell being intoxicating like you had said. He felt something deep within him respond and almost beg for him to get physically closer to you.
"Fuck... darling...the smell... It's messing with me..."
You opened your eyes slowly while holding your breath and looked at Logan. You tilted your head in a way of saying "I told you so" before closing your eyes again and cutting off the scent from emanating any more. You stood up and walked back to Logan and smiled.
The moment you'd cut off the scent, he felt like he'd suddenly been doused in a bucket of cold water. He was suddenly able to actually get his bearings again, able to realize how strongly he'd been affected by you un-suppressing that part of your mutation.
"Jesus Christ... that scent was... something else.. I don't think I've ever felt that type of need for someone, sweetheart..."
You dramatically bow, and stand back up straight. " And that is why I spent four years training alone with Charles. All in the mind."
Logan chuckled softly, feeling amused at how dramatically you had bowed just to emphasize the effectiveness of the power you had just revealed. " Damn... I can't really blame Charles for spending that much time with you to make sure you'd be able to control it. If you could just let that loose, anytime, you'd have every single person in the mansion swooning over you in no time."
You look down at your hands momentarily, " That isn't it at the strongest, I know your heightened senses are probably raw from that little bit. I could show you, but if you need fresh air, I promise I won't be mad at you Logan."
As the scent of the flowers still lingered throughout the air, mixing with the subtle but still present smell of your pheromones. It was driving him insane, like a constant itch in the back of his mind, to just grab you and keep you close to him. "Darling I'm not going anywhere."
He hadn't completely regained control yet and he sure as hell wasn't going to leave you alone when he was still being affected by you. You look at him and nod, understanding. " I'll go somewhere where you can't hurt me and I can stop anytime that you want me to."
His breath hitched slightly at your question. His head was still clouded from the scent that had filled the green house and he couldn't think clearly enough to decide whether that would be a good idea or not. Something deep within him was still demanding and almost begging for him to get closer to you, to hold you in his arms. But he somehow managed to answer coherently
"You sure you want to do that sweetheart?"
"I want to show you what it's like if I went out on a field mission with you guys." You start speaking as you look at Logan. "I can't direct it yet at a single person, so if I use it against an enemy, it'll also affect the entire team."
Logan nodded as you spoke, listening intently. The strong scent still filled the air, his mind still in a haze. He was definitely tempted to get closer to you, but he managed to rein in his urges, barely..
"So that's why you can't actually go missions... it'll affect the team as well, not just the enemies.."
You nod your head "Yes. It's really the only useful and semi powerful thing in relation to my mutation..." You trail off, bringing your hand back to Logan's chest. "Are you sure you want to go through it again?"
He was tempted to just wrap his arms around you the second you put your hand on his chest, feeling it like a jolt to his system that just further made it hard to think. But he managed to answer you again,
"Yeah. Go ahead, sweetheart. Let's see what happens."
"Stay right there and don't move" you say with a serious tone coating your voice. You walk over to the willow tree and begin climbing in.
You reach the part of the tree that has a groove, perfect for sitting, a place you commonly rested at. You sat yourself in a way that Logan could still see you, but still in a way that would prevent you from falling in case you fainted.
"And you're positive that you want to do this?"
Logan watched as you went and climbed the tree. He was definitely having to exert every last ounce of willpower and strength he had to follow your instructions and just stay where he was and not follow you up that damn tree. "Sweetheart, I'm positive. Go ahead and show me what you got."
You close your eyes and open your arms from your body. Flowers blossoming from your head, painting your arms in hues of pinks and purples. You slowly begin to smell the familiar scent you spent hours holding deep down, radiate from your skin. As your eyes are closed and focusing on your body, you softly say "This isn't full power... Are you okay?"
The moment he felt the scent return to the air and begin to permeate throughout the greenhouse, all control Logan had was gone; the scent completely taking over his mind within moments. All he could think about was getting up to you, how perfect you would fit in his arms, and how much he just wanted to get close and touch you. But he tried to answer you in a coherent way. "Yeah... I'm fine... keeping going.."
You take a deep breath and let your mind and body begin to take over. You mentally go to a different place as the scent grows unbearably strong. Your body begins to sweat, beads of sickly sweet sweat rolling from your face down onto your cleavage. The sweat creates an even more pungent aroma that mingles with the scent within the greenhouse.
Logan's breathing was becoming shakier with every second that passed, feeling the scent grow even stronger and that mixed with the beads of sweat slowly making their way down your body was driving him absolutely insane. He was still having to exercise every ounce of self control to not follow you up the damn tree, desperately fighting against the overwhelming urge to just grab you and make you his.
"Oh...God... sweetheart you're making this so damn goddamn hard..."
It's been so long since you've let go like this, the release of pent up energy felt good, too good. You lean back hard, back connecting with the thick tree branch as the scent rolls off of you in thick, aggressive waves, as your self control whittles down to nothing.
He was at the very edge of his willpower by this point, the scent was so damn strong now and the sight of you lean back, sweat rolling down your body was taking every ounce of control he had away.
"Fuck...sweetheart you're going to send me over the edge... I swear to God I'm gonna completely lose it if you go anymore..."
Logan's voice sounding further away as you drift away from the control you had spent years precising. You knew deep down that you would have to go back to working with Charles, but in the very moment, it felt soothing to finally lose control.
Logan couldn't think clearly at all by this point, the scent that filled the air and the sight of your body, sweat beginning to soak your camisole, were driving him past the brink of sanity.
"God... Sweetheart... I can't hold back anymore.. I'm gonna do something...I'm warning you now"
You relish in the feeling of release, realizing that it needs to be done more than not doing it at all. Flowers and thin vines erupting from your hands, crawling and wrapping slowly around the tree; creating more open pockets to release the intoxicating aroma.
That was it.
You relishing in the release and the sight of the vines and flowers from your hands, wrapping around the tree was the last straw for Logan. He couldn't hold back anymore and as such, he gave in to the urge, not caring anymore.
"God DAMN it... I warned you." He let out a growl as he quickly ran towards the tree.
You laid there in uncontrolled bliss, too far off of the edge on control to reel it back in. Logan quickly jumped, using every ounce of his strength to scale the tree and get up to where you were, looking absolutely feral as he approached you, where you were sitting in the small groove of the tree.
"Oh sweetheart... look at you... you look like an absolute mess.. like a damn vision sitting up here... a vision that's mine to touch."
You barely feel Logan's body heat as your senses are far more defined than before. But all control of this has been lost and you lay there deep within your mind.
He quickly crowded towards you, leaning over you slightly as you sat there in a sort of half dazed state in the tree. He was feeling very, very possessive of you in this moment, seeing you with sweat coating your body; flowers and vines from your hands wrapping around the tree, and that scent of yours filling the air.
"God you're so damn perfect like this, so damn gorgeous.. so damn mine to touch..."
The lull of release temporarily becomes bearable and you slowly come back to your mind, scent still radiating from your body. You open your eyes and see Logan leaning over you, eyes dark and filled with desire.
He was looming over you, body almost fully caging you to the trunk of the tree. Eyes dark, nothing but lust and wild with possessiveness as he looked down on you, seeing you slowly start to come back to your senses. He couldn't help but take in the sight of you, practically drenched in sweat and flowers, sitting there in a half-dazed state of release at his touch. "There you are... look at you doll... a complete mess..."
You hazily smiled, closing your eyes once again, more vines erupting from your hands, slowly slinking around Logan, tying him in place all while pulling him closer. You whisper to him gently "I told you it's a lot."
Logan tried to bite back a moan as he was suddenly enveloped by the vines from your hands, feeling them wrap around his arms and legs, pulling him even closer until he was fully pressed against you, completely at your mercy.
"Doll... you're killing me here.. you feel so damn good..."
You look at him through half-lidded eyes, whispering "You doing okay?"
He nodded quickly at your question, feeling like his body had never been more alive and on fire than right then. Being all tied up by the vines from your hands, being held so close against you, the aroma of flowers and the sweat from your body being absolutely overpowering...
"Yeah... I'm doing more than okay sweetheart.."
A vine slowly snaked up Logan's back and around his neck, wrapping itself firmly around his neck as more flowers blossomed, releasing the aroma right underneath his nose.
He practically saw stars as the vine began to wrap around his neck, flowers releasing more of the damn intoxicating scent and completely scrambling his mind even more. He let out an almost guttural sounding moan at the intense feeling, the vines and scent making it increasingly difficult to think.
"God... sweetheart.. that feels so goooood...."
You close your eyes once more, controlling the vines wrapping Logan, pulling him face to face with me. The vine grips at Logan's neck again, you open your eyes again and smile. " Told you it's powerful.." You whisper against his lips.
Logan looked completely feral with how he practically on the verge of losing it as you pulled his face even closer, the vine around his neck tugging again, making the sensation even more intense. He let out a guttural moan again at how good it felt being wrapped up and completely within your power, being so close to your face with your lips just barely touching his.
" God sweetheart... you're insane."
You open your mouth just barely, dragging your tongue against Logan's bottom lip before bringing it into your mouth, biting and tugging at it before releasing it. "Tell me what you want to do to me Logan...please."
Logan practically whimpered at that, the feeling of your tongue against his bottom lip and you biting and tugging was more intense than he really expected it to be, driving him insane. He let out another guttural moan as you released his lip, feeling completely under your control as he managed to answer
"I want.. want to touch you.. kiss you.. feel your bare skin against mine.. just have you completely."
A low hum radiates from your throat as you bite Logan's bottom lip again, harder and drawing blood from his lip. "Tell me what you want to do to my body Logan."
He let out another moan as you bite his lip again, drawing blood. It hurt, but he couldn't focus on the pain as the feeling being tangled and held by the vines and being held so damn close you was overwhelming.
"God..I'm..I'm gonna kiss your body all over.. gonna feel your skin.. gonna devour every damn inch of you and make you mine..."
You hum again, "Tell me you're mine... tell me you'll be mine to use and play with whenever my little heart desires Logan.."
He let out a moan at the hum you gave him, feeling more and more like he was yours to use and play with. His primal side was fully taking over at this point as he answered.
" God yes... I'm yours sweetheart, I'm all yours.. I'll be yours to use and play with whenever your damn little heart pleases..."
You close your eyes, tightening the vine around Logan's neck even more "Good boy..." You whisper, praising him.
Logan let out another moan as the vine around his neck was tightened even more, his breathing becoming even more labored as it took him everything he had to answer you. His mind completely fogged over by how this felt, being so completely captured by you, completely at your mercy.
"God... yes... I'm your good boy.. please sweetheart... don't stop... keep going.. I'm all yours..."

teammates k.c
plot: you vowed never to date a teammate every again.
warning: suggestive, sorry Courtney Nevin I love you
You swore you would never date a teammate again.
At first you opened your arms to the idea, your heart exploded when your crush kissed you at your game at the under 17âs World Cup.
You remembered Courtneyâs smirk when you backed away with fluttery eyes and blushed cheeks.
You didnât know the heartbreak it would cause you months later.
âCourtney we only see eachother at camps I- I donât think I can do the long distance anymoreâ you sobbed to the blonde girl who sat on the bed next to you.
Courtney stayed silent, looking down at her feet.
âPlease say somethingâ you begged, leaning over to grab her hand.
âI slept with someoneâ she blurted out and you quickly pulled your hands away, your mind ran a thousand miles per hour.
You stayed silent as she was now the one who was begging from a sound out of your mouth.
âWith who?â
âJust some random girl- I swear it didnât mean anything I swearâ she talked but you jumped off the bed.
âCourtney I need you to stay away from me right now, or for a whileâ you muttered, walking back to the door.
ây/nâ
But it was too late you had slammed the door shut, making your way to your and Maryâs shared room.
You swore never to date a teammate again.
You had met Kerstin through Mary, constantly having to deal with the girl FaceTiming her Man City friend. âFowler let your friend sleepâ she laughed as it was clear you were trying to sleep in the background.
âPlease listen to her Mary I told Kyra I would sit next to her in the bus and she wonât let me sleepâ
You heard the Dutch womanâs laugh in the other end as Mary huffed.
During many camps after that you were invited into the FaceTimes, sometimes even talking to Kerstin yourself whilst Maryâs in the bathroom or running errands.
You found your cheeks blushing one time after a game, you were talking to Kirsten as Mary was washing her hair for the teams dinner tonight.
âI took Inspiration from youâ she smirked âoh how?â You asked and she lifted her arm
You tried not to draw your eyes to the veins that popped out but you couldnât help yourself. âLook a number three, inspired by your hatrickâ she laughed and you rolled your head back âwhat is it you Australians sayâŚyouâre a gun!â She cheered and you blushed, too embarrassed to see the notification that Kirstin had taken a screenshot at the interaction.
Mary walked into the room with her hair wrapped up in a towel âlooking fancyâ you stated and panned the phone to her ânice Fowler, looking scrumptiousâ the Dutch girl laughed and you joined.
âif you guys are ganging up on me now I wonder what itâs going to be like when y/n joins cityâ Mary sighed and Kerstin gasped âyour joining city?â She asked and you nodded your head âsigned a contract not that long ago, so surprise?â
You were welcomed to City with open arms from all the girls Alanna taking you under her wing as she felt protective over you.
After all she was the one who caught you crying in the hallway after Courtney had told you she cheated, your eyes filled up with so much tears you could barely see.
âHowâs Manchester treating you?â Allanâs asked as you sat with her and Leila, a Spaniard you had grown close with.
âGood Iâm enjoying my time here everyone is so niceâ
Whilst the three of you sat in the corner Jill cornered Kerstin who was âsubtlyâ looking at you from the other side of the room.
âYou like herâ Jill piped up and Kerstin jumped ânuekan!â She whisper yelled and Jill smirked âno I donâtâ she denied.
âYes you doâ
âNo I donâtâ
âYes you doâ
âYes I doâ
Jill smiled triumphantly and clapped her hands together âthen ask her outâ Jill encouraged
âAsk who out?â
The two Dutch girls widened their eyes at Mary who had innocently jumped in on their conversation âuhmâ Kerstin started and Jill looked around.
âNobodyâ
âY/nâ
The two spoke at the same time and Maryâs eyes widened as she turned to her friend and hit her âwhy did you tell Jill before meâ she said as Kerstin pulled away âow stopâ she said as Jill laughed and turned to Mary, pulling her away from her friend.
âSoâ Jill trailed off âdo you know what y/n thinks of Kerstin?â She asked and Maryâs face fell and with that so did Kerstins âoh my godâ she groaned.
âIâm so stupidâ she thought but Mary grabbed her arm âItâs not that she doesnât but itâs just that she doesnât date teammates, sheâs very big on itâ Mary said and Jill shrugged âwhy?â
âWell when we were younger her and Courtney dated during Matildaâs camps and well when Courtney moved to Leicester and y/n stayed in Melbourne wellâŚâ she trailed off
âItâs easy for a couple to break up cause of long distanceâ Kerstin said as she thought of couples she knew âit wasnât just the long distance, Courtney cheated on her and it really hurt her, so sheâs vowed ever sinceâ Mary said and the two girls nodded âohâ was all Kerstin said as she looked over to where you sat.
You were roomed with Mary for your first away game as your international teammate now was on edge from keeping Kerstins secret from you.
âYou and Kerstin are closeâ she spoke up and you blushed, thankfully you were facing away from your friend so she couldnât see the small smile that erupted on your face.
âI guessâ you shrugged and Mary nodded âI know you vowed off dating-â
âMaryâ you warned her and she groaned âI know but Kerstin isnât like thatâ
âYeah well I thought Courtney wasnât like that eitherâ you defended and Mary dropped her head âlookâ you started âif we werenât teammates and there was no chance of having a weird team dynamic after we break up sure yes I would take her on a dateâ you shrugged
âI mean sheâs nice, really cute, makes me laugh aswell as laughs at my jokes and has the tattoos that Iâm attracted to and sure she would probably make a good girlfriend and-â you stopped talking as you looked up to your fellow Aussie who was grinning ear to ear.
âI like herâ you realised
âYou like her a lotâ Mary sang out and you slapped her.
You didnât know what to do with your newfound information. Everytime Kerstin came up to you at trainings or at games you blushed and ran away like a little school girl.
âY/n/n whatâs up?â she asked you one day as she ran behind you âoh nothingâ you trailed âany weekend plans?â She asked shakily as you both stopped.
You could lie and say no just incase she wanted to hang out but you found yourself wanting to hang out with her, by yourselfâŚwith nobody else there.
âNone at the moment why?â You asked with a smile and the girl blushed âwe should go out for coffee or lunch or somethingâ she said and your breath hitched âor we could not-â
âIâd like that actuallyâ you smiled and the Dutch girl nodded âgreatâ
And with no thought your mouth betrayed you.
âSounds like a dateâ
And you ran off.
The weekend came and you found yourself with Kerstin walking through a couple of clothe stores before you went out.
You couldnât lie and say you didnât like the way how Kirstenâs body would press behind you when you looked at a top for too long.
âThat would great on youâ she mumbled, her breath hitting your neck due to the height difference.
The top was nice and you were looking for your size until and idea popped into your head.
You turned your body to her, faces inches apart âhow about we buy a piece of clothing for eachother and wear it outâ
âwear it to our date?â She asked and you smiled, nodding and dropping your head to hide your blush.
âOkay but the top I like for you is near so close your eyesâ she said with a grin as you did so âyou pick yours then I pick mine I saw something at the start that is perfectâ
Kerstin tried to be quick as she picked up a flowy top near where you stood, she remembered how your eyes lingered on it when you walked in.
âOkay Iâm doneâ she announced before you smiled, a jump in your step as you made your way to a sweater vest that you knew that she would like and you knew she would look hot in.
âOkay Iâm done tooâ you said and the Dutch girl laughed âalright letâs go pay and then get changed because we are already five minutes late to our reservationâ
Getting changed you tried to ignore the way your heart was racing when she picked out the top that you secretly hoped that she would.
Kerstin stepped out with a grin âLove itâ she smiled and lifted up her arms to flex as you laughed but secretly admired.
You both sat down and ate, Kerstin offering to pay as she invited you out. âWell next time Iâm payingâ you told her
âNext time?â Kerstin asked and you sheepishly nodded âyeahâ.
It wasnât until your next international camp that your teammates buckled down on you.
âNo love life in Manchester?â Kyra teased as you smiled and you blushed, ignoring the stare on your face from a certain blonde.
âShe would tell meâ Alanna boasted and Mary choked on her food âno she would notâ Caitlin told her âYeah Lani if I was y/n I wouldnât want you Interrogating my new girlâ Mackenzie laughed.
âWell is there?â Charli asked with a grin and you shook your head as a ânoâ but your facial expressions betrayed you.
âWho?!â
âWhat?!â
âI have to approve!â
âAight everyone off herâ Mary laughed before Steph quirked her eyebrow âyou knowâ she stated and Mary shrugged âWell Iâm the one who has to leave our room whenever she comes overâ she groaned and you laughed from your spot.
âSo does she follow you for all your matches?â Teagan asked and you nodded âyou could say thatâ.
You laid on top of Kerstin, straddling her hips as you kissed down her neck âyou know people are starting to catch onâ you smiled, lifting your head up to press a kiss to her lips.
âSo let them I donât careâ she mumbled âyouâre just saying that cause youâre enjoying me right now.
âI have a pretty girl on top of me what else is there to ask for?â
âThe FA cup?â You perked up as you both laughed.
âIâm just happy I finally got my own room this campâ you tutted âalso my team knows Iâm seeing someone but they donât know whoâ
âEven Courtney?â Kerstin asked and you nodded. You saw hunger creep into your soon to be girlfriendâs eyes as you talked about your ex.
âI donât like that your with her for the weekâ she said, her grip tightening on your hips.
âThen why donât we show her that Iâm takenâ you smirked , leaning back down and kissing Kerstin.
You moaned in pleasure as she moved her lips down your neck, sucking hard on certain parts, knowing when to stop so they wouldnât show up for your Matildaâs game.
You decided that you liked it when Kerstin was jealous.
You broke away as Both your hands went to the ends of your top, trying to take it off before knocking was heard at your door.
âY/n!â Little Harper Gorrys voice yelled out as you rolled off Kerstin pulling your top back down âowâ you cursed and threw a blanket over Kerstins body who was silently laughing at your fall.
Opening the door you looked down to Harper who was smiling âyou make weird noises in your sleepâ she giggled and you nodded âwhereâs your mum?â You asked and she pointed down the hallway where you saw Katrina talking to Allanna who was on the phone.
âThere you are Harpsâ Katrina smiled and walked over to you where Harper put her hands out for her âgo to mamaâ you coed as Allanna got off the phone.
âHey you and Kerstin are close yeah?â she asked and you nodded âyesâ you nodded, panic laced in your voice as the said girl was hidden underneath a blanket metres away.
âJill called said sheâs not at the hotel theyâre staying atâ she said âohâ you mumbled, trying to look around your room to see if there was a clear body on your bed.
But a gasp was heard.
Katrina had her hand to her face and the running footsteps of both Kyra and Mary were heard as they went to your room.
âYou have a hickey!â
âI know who you y/n is seeing!â
The mother daughter duo spoke at the same time as all eyes returned on you.
âDid your girlfriend follow you to Netherland for one game?â Alanna asked as Katrina laughed.
âThatâs who youâre seeing?â She asked, putting the pieces together and you sheepishly nodded.
âWho?â Alanna asked, still confused as your nerves rose but a hand grabbed onto your back for comfort.
âJeez Lani youâve suffered one too many concussions in your lifeâ
âKERSTIN!â
she latched onto your waist and placed her head on your shoulder âsurprise?â

Too Cute to be Angry
Synopsis: A night spent talking to politicians and alt right superheroes is enough to drive anyone crazy but it's sister sage that puts you over the edge
Pairing: Victoria Neuman x fem!supe!reader (feline shifter)
Words: 3k+
A/N - self ingulgent little cat girl fic with my favourite supe written entirely for myself :)
WARNINGS - swearing, brief mention of murder and homophobia
Victoria Neuman was the busiest woman you know. if she wasn't spending her days in meetings or on Zoom calls, she was attending interviews or making speeches. she was a very driven woman. had big goals. ones you could hardly even fathom but not from lack of trying. you wanted to be part of her world but at the same time, it was so difficult to comprehend. it's not as simple as black and white. the people she surrounded herself with weren't always the best and for the most part, it's clear she tries to keep you out of it. possibly some misguided attempt to protect you.
it was a rare afternoon that was cleared just for you. nobody else around. no work calls or meetings. just the two of you sharing a quiet moment. laying on the couch with your head in her lap.A delicate hand scratches behind the feline ears that live upon your head. it feels good; and calming.a sluggish but continuous rhythm that was drawing you to drowsiness. She wouldn't mind. it wouldn't be the first time nor the last that you fell asleep on her.
"babe,"
"yeah?"
"how would you feel about going out tonight?" the answer was no. it was always going to be no. you were too content with a quiet evening to suddenly have plans thrust upon you.
"Where?" you question anyway and her hand slows.
"Tek knights." a mumbled answer that your ears pick up loud and clear. she couldn't be serious right now. there is absolutely zero reason why she would be going to see Tek Knight for anything but business and she already promised you no business tonight. it was just gonna be the two of you.
"Are you... serious?"
"some fancy party."
"no," replied snappily. "dude is creepy."
"When have you ever met tek knight?"
"once actually," you state, moving yourself up to look at her. "and he was fucking weird- asked inappropriate questions about my tail." you swish your tail, gently grazing it against her cheek.
"Well, you can just avoid him all night," Victoria insists, shoving your tail away. "I'd really like you to come."
"no thank you, can you go back to scratching behind my ears now." you lay back down.
"no,"
a heavy sigh. "Victoria," whined softly, as you nuzzled into her lap. you're tempted to gently bite her thigh but you don't. that would not help your case right now. "please?"
"if you agree to come I'll give you all the ear scratches you want."
"that's not fair."
"I need a buffer for when I can't take it anymore and that's you," she gives your side a firm pat. "I got you something pretty to wear."
"how pretty," mumbled against her legs.
"very," that meant expensive. you groan, stretching your arms and legs before sitting up. she raises a curious brow that makes you roll your eyes. She wasn't going to let this go.
"fine but you owe me," she places her hand on your head, ruffling your hair, making sure to get behind the ears. you naturally lean into her touch. this was gonna be a very long night.
Tek Knight lives in a mansion. like an actual massive mansion that's old and creepy but also kind of cool. gothic in nature and not an ounce of homeliness to its name. Victoria annoyingly leaves you alone pretty quickly and you're forced to find your own source of amusement. music plays as background noise and there really isn't anything to do here other than touch ornaments or talk with Republicans. She didn't tell you this was gonna be a party filled with right-wing nuts but here you are anyway. conversing with old white men about reproductive rights and how gay people are fine but need to stop shoving their lifestyle down Americans' throats. you observe the party from the corner of the room. helping yourself to the hors d'oeuvres as trays rush by. It's always a wonder why they don't just have actual food at these events or at least something a little less fancy. something actually tasty.
"you're Neuman's girl, right?" it's not inherently wrong so you allow the nickname especially when you realise who it comes from. she has never tried to hide your relationship but she hardly advertised it either. can't scare off the voters or whatever. you don't mind. you're not exactly in a rush to be hounded by the general public. Homelander stands beside you; strong and tall in his red, white and blue super suit. You've never been next to such a powerful supe before excluding Neuman. he was intimidating in real life.
"homelander," you declare obviously. you're not sure what else to say here. Victoria speaks about him a lot. he's also in the news all the time. you very recently watched him on TV. "I saw your trial," blurted out before you thought of the consequences. he probably didn't like to talk about him murdering a man.
"so you saw that I was found innocent,"
you nod a little. he'd been found not guilty despite the overwhelming evidence which was kind of insane but also expected. "Vicky says you should have been locked up," you agreed.
"and what do you think?" he turns his whole body towards you and you do the same. such intense eyes it's almost like he's looking right through you. you may be a supe but you were hardly on his level. Victoria says he's kinda unstable these days and anything can set him off so you try to think of something safe to say.
"I think... your eyes are really fucking blue- no wonder fascists love you," he smiles. you don't know if it's amusement or menacing but surely he understands you're joking. and if not, he likely won't attack at this fancy little party.
"calm down, I'm not going to hurt you."
"What makes you think I'm worried." he wasn't a mind reader that you knew for sure.
"your heartbeat," he replies. "but mostly the ears," the blonde points to the cat ears on the top of your head. "anyone else would call it cute," and with that, he walks away. he was a... confusing man. even from that short interaction, you can tell he can be elusive. alone once more you decide to go in search of a drink but it isn't long before Victoria is at your side.
"hi baby," you're happy to see her. you hope it means you can go home soon.
"hey,"
"What did he want?"
"Who? homelander?" why did she care? "just chatting about his trial and how cute I am."
"how cute you are?" she repeats back slowly.
"Hmm it's no surprise- everyone is obsessed with me so."
"you are adorable,"
a very bright exaggerated smile, showing your canines before your face immediately falls. "can we go yet?"
"you promised you'd hold out a couple of hours," and it was starting to feel like a lifetime.
"and I have," you groan dramatically.
"It's barely been an hour,"
"y'know, I literally got told women have too many rights," you reply. "too. many. rights- what does that even mean?"
Victoria sighs softly. "I know they can be... opinionated but just suck it up for me okay? it'll be over before you know it,"
"I wanna go now,"
"I know," she runs a gentle hand along your back. "but this is important."
"why is it so important?"
"I- I can't tell you that right now," Victoria replies. She never told you anything. it was always just important calls or important meetings or important parties. it made you want to roll your eyes. "just please behave for me," you put on a pout. "and I'll take you to the nice restaurant with the fancy cakes you love,"
"Really?" said cautiously. when in doubt she'll bribe you. not because she doubts you'll do it for free but rather as an insurance policy. better safe than sorry.
"Always so easy," she chuckles. "you gotta work on keeping your ears in check. perked right up when I said that,"
you frown a little, reaching up to cover your ears with your hands. "stupid ears."
"It's cute," she hums softly, a kiss placed against your temple.
"I hate you," said sharply.
"Just... mingle or something." Victoria pats your shoulder before leaving you alone again. you follow her with your eyes as she walks up to some old man. you decide to go for a walk and find that drink you were after.
"you arrived with Neuman," stated matter of factly. sister sage walks up from behind you. you cover your mouth as you finish the little pastry you stole off a tray.
"Sister Sage," mumbled through a mouthful before you swallowed. "newest member of the seven- I heard you're like the smartest woman ever."
"smartest person," she corrected.
"smartest person," you repeat. "what's someone so smart doing in a place like this?"
"we're surrounded by some of the most powerful people in the United States of America right now," Sage explains. you know on some level that should mean something to you but you hardly feel excited or proud. quite the opposite. you were in a room with some of the worst people in the United States of America. Almost all of them are against the very things you are.
"but not the nicest," you grab a champagne flute as it passes by, taking a long-needed sip of bubbly liquid.
"nice only gets you so far," she continues. "you're probably the nicest person here but also the least important."
wow. okay. rude. "I wouldn't call myself the least important."
"I would," she replies. "even the waiters are of more value right now. you're just Neuman's basically pet, cute but useless."
you're not sure what to say to that. is that why Victoria never shared anything with you? didn't think you were important? just a pet to be paraded about like some cute little mascot in her parade for power? "I'm not her pet."
"how do your ears and tail work? they're biological right?" the question catches you a little off guard. such a change.
"uhhhh shouldn't the smartest person alive be able to figure that out?"
"you're a shifter but only into a feline," her eyes trail over you like this was some sort of interview or examination. "do you keep the ears for aesthetic purposes? surely, you can get rid of the cat ears and tail."
"you'd think," you shrug. "but no, I'm cursed to be every nerdy incels wet fantasy." the cat ears and tail were considered cute by many, disgusting by others and a fetish by too many. for a long time, vought used you in a lot of advertisements and commercials until you quit. you still occasionally do some ads and stuff for extra cash. Not often do people see a real-life cat girl. a hand snakes across your back and you instinctively jerk away before realising it's Victoria. "hey,"
"Can we talk?" she wears the fakest smile ever.
"hmm," sage hums. you quirk your brow.
"What?"
"Nothing," she insists. "you have the exact dynamic I would expect. don't mind me." you'd ask what she meant but she is already walking away and Victoria is leading you in the opposite direction.
"what's up?" you wonder.
"I don't want you talking to sister sage."
"why?".
"Can you listen to me for once?"
"for once?" all you do is listen to her. this whole night was for her. "I'm here listening to old men tell me I deserve to go to hell for you. this is worse than that political banquet where that man followed me around the whole night and kept trying to pet me." you huff.
"you don't think I haven't thought about popping my own head every time one of these rich idiots tries to talk to me about reproductive health?" her voice is quiet but stern. she's trying not to cause a scene. "but I put up with it so just suck up. it's important."
"oh really? never would have guessed." you roll your eyes. "I'll just go sit in the corner and stare at the wall since I'm not important enough."
"That's not what I said,"
"no I get it, don't worry," you force a smile and brush past her. "I'll be a good kitty."
it's a quiet ride home. silent even. staring out the window as bright lights zoom past. you can hear Victoria chatting on the phone. much too busy to take note of your angry brow or vacant stare. you're angry at her. Sage's words weren't helping either. playing over and over in your mind. cute but useless. you couldn't necessarily disagree. Even Vought just wanted you because of how you looked. sure you had enhanced strength and senses but that was only compared to humans. there were plenty of much stronger supes. there were even more useful shifters. you just became a cat. agile. sneaky. but ultimately just a common house pet.
"Are you gonna pout all night?" Victoria eventually asks as you pull up outside her home. it pissed you off more.
"I'm sorry, I thought I wasn't allowed to speak." replies sharply as you exit the vehicle; a quick slam of the door. you hear her get out the other side and follow behind.
"I didn't say you couldn't speak,"
"semantics," you huff back. maybe she didn't say you couldn't talk but she did try to control every conversation. who you could and couldn't speak to. always checking in to make sure you weren't saying the wrong thing. "I don't feel like talking."
"We need to."
you just ignore her. That was much better than an argument right now. all you wanted was a hot shower and to go to bed. As soon as you get inside, you march upstairs. She doesn't follow, instead heading towards the kitchen.
the hot water was a welcomed distraction from your otherwise terrible evening. it was supposed to just be about you too and she just couldn't help but make it all about herself. propping herself up to important people. sneaking off for private meetings that you weren't allowed to attend. you go to bed alone. she was probably downstairs working like always. you don't know how long it is before she joins you.
"you have to talk to me eventually," Victoria hums. "can't sulk in your other form forever."
whenever you fought you liked to shift. being a cat was simpler. nobody had any expectations for cats. it was like the perfect excuse to not have difficult conversations. She couldn't understand you after all but you could understand her. loud and clear. "just tell me what's wrong."
you stretch out. fluffy kitty paws morph into human hands and legs sprawled out in the darkness. you sigh softly following on to your back. Victoria is sitting on the edge, looking down at you. "I'm not your pet," growled quietly.
"I never said you were,"
"that's all anyone sees me as," you reply. "Neuman's girl. neuman's pet. cute but useless/ that's what sage said."
"that is why I didn't want you talking to her," she replies.
"but she's right," you express. "you don't treat me like we're equals. you hide stuff from me. tell me it's too important and I won't understand. I'm not a fucking child or your silly little house cat, Victoria."
"Baby," a gentle hand moves to your arm but you shake her off. Moving onto your side and away from her.
"don't."
"Okay," she retracts her hands slowly. there's a moment of silence before she continues. "I don't see you as a child or some silly cat."
"Sure you do,"
"I don't," she insists. "I'm a politician there are some things I just can't share with you-"
"but you don't tell me anything," you interrupt
"but I admit I could share with you more," she proceeds with. "I just... I try to keep you out of all that bullshit. not because I think you're stupid or useless but because it's just easier. I don't want them tearing you down to get to me,"
"But I'm willing to take it,"
"you shouldn't have to. I don't want that for you- for us." she urges. "Sage can say whatever she wants but I don't believe those things about you. You're smart, beautiful and adorable sure but you're not useless. I'm so lucky to have someone as caring and wonderful as you."
"gross," said playfully after a moment. a small smile tugs at your lips though. "Victoria?"
"mhmm?"
"I'm sorry for acting like a spoilt brat tonight,"
"I'm sorry I made you spend an evening with all those awful people," you chuckle lightly as you roll over to look at her. they really were awful people. and maybe you weren't one of the most important people in America but you were a good person. a nice person. and that was much more interesting.
"World's worst and most boring party," you voice. "how did your private meeting go?"
she hesitates. probably a debate on whether to tell you or not. "...pretty well I think."
"Vice President Neuman has a nice ring to it," you tease. smiling up at her in the darkness. a strip of moonlight crosses her face. twinkling in her pretty eyes. it was a wild thought. one day soon you could be dating the vice president of America.
"how do you feel knowing you'll be the second lady?"
"oooh so official. so important."
"you're already so important,"
"to you maybe." you huff.
"does anyone else matter?"
"you of all people saying that is crazy," you semi-tease. it was kinda true. she cared a lot about her image. about how the world saw her. "let's just go to sleep."
Victoria doesn't answer but she does lie down, shuffling up behind you. there's a slight hesitation like she's not sure if you've truly forgiven her. you move closer to her, resting your head against her chest. listening to the way her heart thumped in her chest "night."
"good night," you hum softly as you let your eyes flutter closed. "I'm gonna get so many fancy cakes tomorrow."

i commissioned this pmv from @mudshadow a few years ago and it is really just so exemplary. have a watch :)
HERE is the script iâd written back in 2019, itâs real bare bones bc i never got past deciding what i wanted to do with it before surprise money meant i decided i wanted to commission hannah⌠i thought⌠only someone with a PHD in whitestorm can pull this off properly!!!! i just sent the script as is and said use it as a base but change whatever u want/need to make it work better in terms of flow or story or what have u⌠(this was the perk of trusting her w my LIFE to improve it lol) i donât think a lot was changed in the end because:
the comic book styling and panelling was her idea, partly to minimise the amount of drawing required (especially backgrounds!!!) and partly to better cram in all my ideas while still maintaining a nice flow and likeâŚ.looking good. being understandable. it was a very effective way to keep the workload down- a pmv with backgrounds or fullbodies for every shot or every scene even wouldâve either sent the cost out of my budget or meant she was undercharging. being 4 years ago i donât remember exactly how much it was but i think over 1K.
in the end the comic book look worked out much better than anything else would have- itâs so dynamic, it creates all these gorgeous and impactful transitions and compositions, it lends itself to some funny and creative shit and it just looks great. iâm so delighted with what hannah did, i adore this video, i watch it over again constantly. also, every time i rewatch it, i forget about blue eyed fireheart and then smile. itâs such a great little design. his green eyes are so iconic that nobody ever changes them but he does just look so cute with blue eyes. thank u hannah for my life
ALSO, this pmv has made me learn that i notice shit in songs that other people simply do not because the amount of ppl who have said to me that theyâve never heard the âfuckâ at the start of this song has bewildered me!!!!!!!!!!

entry 002
(yandere until dawn)
WARNINGS: Yandere Themes, Cussing, Josh Crying Is Its Own Warning
WORD COUNT: 2070
(8:55 á´á´, á´Ęá´ á´á´ĘÉŞÉ´)
Mike and Jess didn't notice Emily's arrival at first; they were too wrapped up in their makeout session. But Emily definitely noticed them.
"Oh my God. That is so gross," she declared, her voice slicing through the haze of their moment. The words hung in the air, sharp enough to draw their attention away from each other. Emily folded her arms defiantly, "Are you trying to swallow his face whole?" A mocking grin spread on her face.
Matt, who walked in right behind her, said, "Em..." as if he already knew this was going to happen. His tone was resigned, and I could see the concern in his eyes as he took in the scene.
"Seriously," Emily started again, her voice rising. "Can she be any more obvious? No one wants in on your territory, honey!" She shouted.
Jess stood up and began to walk toward Emily, causing Ashley to gasp slightly, still curled into me. "Excuse me, did you say something?" Jess asked, her tone sharp as she narrowed her eyes at Emily.
"Oh, you didn't hear me? Was your sluttiness too loud?" Emily matched Jess's stride, stepping forward with confidence. As everything unfolded, nobody said a word. Some watched in amusement, while others looked on in concern, the atmosphere charged with anticipation as the two faced off.
"Sounds like someone's bitter she didn't make the cut!" Jess retorted, a smirk dancing on her lips as she gestured toward Mike, the implication hanging heavy in the air.Â
"Yeah. It's all just a big cattle call with that dreamboat. Congratulations, you're top cow!" Emily's voice sliced through the thick tension, each word draped in biting sarcasm. Mike shifted uncomfortably, caught between their escalating confrontation.
"Cuts real deep calling Miss Homecoming a cow."Â
Matt stood rigid, tension coiling around him like a taut wire. He turned to Emily, desperation etched on his face as he attempted to bridge the widening chasm. "Em, come onâ" he urged, his tone steady but urgent, as if pleading for reason.Â
"Shut up, Matt," Emily snapped, her tone sharp and unrelenting. "Hey, watch itâ" Emily warned, pointing a finger at Jess.
"Oh, you're the only one who can put him down? No one else gets to play with your toys?" Jess shot back, the words were sharp, aimed to provoke, as if she were daring Emily to retaliate.
"You're such a bitch!"
"Whatever, I don't give a crap what you think," Jess shot back, turning away from Emily in an attempt to end the argument on her own terms.
"At least I can think. 4.0, bitch, honor roll. Suck on that when you're trying to sleep your way into a job."
"Who needs grades when you've got all the natural advantages you can handle?" Jess retorted, a smirk playing on her lips as she leaned into the jab.
"Oh, please," Emily scoffed
"You couldn't buy a moldy loaf of bread with your skanky ass!"
"...Are you serious? You think that's insulting?" Emily said, the disbelief in her voice evident, the look on her face challenging Jess to reconsider her words.
"That bitch is on crack or something." Jess said as she turned to me. I quickly averted my eyes, desperately wanting to disappear into the background, hoping they would sort this out without my presence. The tension hung thick in the air, and I could feel the weight of their rivalry pressing down on me.
"Oh, so now you're trying to get them involved? I mean, it makes sense; you always hog them like you couldn't get attention anywhere else," Emily sneered.
"Okay, everyone, stop," Josh said, clearly fed up with the feud. "This isn't why I invited you all here. If you can't handle being around each other right now, maybe we should take a break and split up for a bit." he proposed.
"I have a guest cabin through that door," Josh pointed to a second door on the wall to the right of the front entrance "Just keep going straight, and you'll find it. It's pretty hard to miss." Josh was looking right at Jess and Mike.
"Fine," Jess began, but it seemed Mike read her mind, interjecting before she could finish. "But only if they can come with us," he said, pointing directly at me. The declaration caught me off guard, and I felt the weight of their gazes on me, a mix of expectation and pressure. I shifted uncomfortably, unsure of how I fit into this escalating drama.Â
"No," Josh said, his voice firm, cutting through the air like a knife. This was the first time I'd heard him speak with such authority. But as I stood there, it dawned on me that I hadn't spoken to Jess and Mike in a while. This could be a good opportunity to clear the air without risking another fight.
I stood from the couch, feeling all eyes turn toward me. "It's fine, really. I haven't seen them in a while anyway, and I'm sure Jess has stuff she wants to talk about." I glanced between them, gauging their reactions. "I'll walk them out to the cabin, but I'll just come back when they make it there. That way, they get their alone time, and I can come back to all of you guys."
My proposal hung in the air, a tentative bridge to ease the tension. I hoped it would give Jess and Mike the space they needed while allowing me to remain connected to the group. But then I remembered I had to please both sides to make that happen, not just Jess and Mike.
I turned to Emily and spoke earnestly, "I promise, when I get back, we can do whatever we wantâfacemasks, paint our nails, I've got so much gossip to tell you." A small smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she nodded, and I could see a flicker of excitement in her eyes, which eased some of the tension.
Then I diverted my attention to everyone else, who had been awkwardly standing near the doorway while this whole fiasco unfolded. "You guys can relax; I'll be back before you know it," I reassured them, trying to lighten the mood "then when i come back, we can all watch a movie or something.". Chris and Josh seemed to really like that idea. The group seemed to shift a bit, the atmosphere slowly easing as I prepared to guide Jess and Mike to the cabin.
"Real quick, before you go," Sam said, grabbing my attention. "While they were arguing, I tried to go upstairs to take a bath, only to find out the hot water was off. Do you want to help me turn it back on in the basement?" She looked at me with hopeful eyes, clearly eager for a little assistance.
"Well, this is Josh's cabin; I don't know how to do that," I replied, a bit bashful about my lack of knowledge on fixing the hot water. The admission made me feel slightly embarrassed, as if I should have known something so basic.
"I do," Josh said, his tone light yet confident, clearly expecting to step in. "Come on, I'll teach you. Then you can walk them out to the cabin... or whatever." He placed his hands on both my shoulders, guiding me toward the basement, with Sam trailing closely behind us.
The basement was spacious and had clearly been turned into a storage area. I spotted skis and sleds leaning against the wall, alongside piles of old clutter. A worn-out sofa sat in one corner, while boxes stacked haphazardly filled the space. Empty paint cans lay scattered about, and a bat rested in another corner.
Wooden beams, worn and splintered, crisscrossed above, their surfaces mottled with age. The walls, painted a faded gray, bore the scars of timeâcracks spiderwebbed their surfaces, and patches of peeling paint.Â
Josh walked over to a wall adorned with various knobs, flips, and switches labeled "Power," "Heater," and more. I would've followed him if the bat sitting in the corner hadn't caught my attention.
I walked over to where the bat rested and picked it up. It was wooden and chipped, but still heavy and in surprisingly good condition. After examining it for a moment, I made my way back to where Sam stood, leaning against the wall and watching Josh tinker with the knobs. Her eyes flicked between him and the controls, a look of mild amusement on her face.
"What's this, Josh?" I asked, catching his attention. He turned to look at me, a playful grin spreading across his face. "It's a bat, silly."Â he saidÂ
"Well, duh, I just mean why is it down here?" I asked again, twirling the bat in my hands. It felt good to grip, and I couldn't help but wonder what it was doing in this cluttered basement. Josh shrugged, still smiling, as he glanced back at the wall of switches.
"I used to play baseball with my dad out here almost every day. It was a tradition every Sunday, but he quit a while ago; he got a little too busy to play with me," he said, his tone surprisingly light.
"Oh," was all I managed to say, unsure whether to comfort him or let him focus on his work. I turned to Sam, who had been listening intently, and playfully pointed the end of the bat at her. A mischievous grin crossed my face, and i new idea in my head.
"Do you, know how to play baseball, madam?" I asked her in a faux ancient English accent, adding a dramatic flair.
She put her hands on her hips, feigning offense, and replied, "Why, I do! I reckon you aren't too good yourself!" Her playful tone made me laugh.
Now it was my turn to act offended. I placed my hand dramatically on my chest and exclaimed, "Now you take that back! I'll have you know I'm the best darn tootin' baseball player to ever exist!" I struggled to keep a straight face, barely holding back a laugh.
"Well, that's something you're gonna have to prove to me!" she replied, raising an eyebrow as if she didn't believe me at alI. Her playful challenge only fueled my determination.
"Oh yeah, watch this!" I said, grabbing an old baseball that was lying on the ground. I swung the bat, connecting with the ball, and watched as it ricocheted off the walls, bouncing wildly before finally dropping to the floor. The sound echoed in the basement, and I couldn't help but grin at my impromptu display.
I turned back to Sam with a smug grin, acting as if I'd just accomplished something great, only to find her bowing dramatically before me, hand over her heart. "You have my utmost respect; I pray you'll teach me your ways," she said, suppressing a laugh. I couldn't help but chuckle at her theatrics.
Josh then cut the act of devotion short, saying, "Hey, _____, do you mind using your flashlight? I can't see the labels that well." His brows were furrowed in concentration as he continued to search through the power box.
"Yes, sir!" I replied, saluting playfully. I pulled out my phone and walked over to where he was bent down, turning on the flashlight. After angling it to where he instructed me, I watched his fingers dance over the board, cranking knobs and pressing buttons with a focused intensity.
Eventually, he stood up straight and faced both me and Sam. "Alright, I think I've got it. Go ahead and try the bath now, Sam," he said.Â
Sam nodded and gave me a quick hug goodbye, wishing me luck with Jess and Mike. Her concern was masked by a playful exterior, but I could still sense the hint of reluctance in her expression as she let go.
She walked up the basement stairs, and I would've followed her, if it weren't for Josh's grip on my wrist. He held me back, a certain look on his face as he gestured for me to stay a moment longer.
"Hey," he started as soon as Sam fully left. "Be careful, okay? Hannah and Beth walked alone out there and, I meanâ" His voice cracked, and I could see his eyes starting to water. It was clear he was struggling to get the words out, his concern weighing heavily on him.
"Lord knows where they are right now. I can't lose you like I lost them. It happened once, and I won't allow it to happen again, okay?" he said, his grip shifting from my wrist to both hands planted on my shoulders. Tears streamed down his face, and I could feel the weight of his worry.
I wrapped my arms around him, embracing him fully. He definitely needed comfort right now, and I'd be a monster to deny him that. His body shook with sobs, and my shoulder quickly became wet, soaked with his tears. I held him tighter, letting him know I too missed Hannah and Beth.
"I know," I began carefully. "I promise, I know the route there safely. It seems like you're forgetting that I've been here like a million times." I said it playfully, hoping to lighten the mood a bit.
All he did was nod and continue to cradle me, his grip tightening slightly. I couldn't help but wonder, why he didn't act like this when sending Jess and Mike out?

Random things I noticed while playing What Remains Of Edith Finch
There was a poster of the cannery that Lewis worked at on the boat.
2. Edith Jr wears what appears to be an engagement on a necklace. Whether this is her ring or her mothers is not mentioned.
3. At the start of the game, Milton's missing posters are EVERYWHERE. There is even a giant pile of them in a nearby lake.
4. The dragon slide that crushed and killed Sven is still outside.
5. As you walk toward the house, the music gets louder.
6. The swing that Calvin flew off decades ago is still looped around the branch.
7. There was a spare peep hole in the garage that didn't have any names or dates on it.
8. At multiple points throughout the game you can hear a train in the background, despite the fact that the train tracks are clearly destroyed.
9. There are multiple pots throughout the Finch house that looks like they have eyes.
10. One of the books the Finches possessed was 'King in Yellow', a book known for making anyone who read it insane.
11. The house sounds alive, or like there are people constantly moving around it.
12. Walters bedroom is painted with both ocean and train designs. One of the paintings is the old house that Odin tried to bring to America.
13. There are drag marks on the ground of Walters bedroom (most likely made when his drawers were taken out of his room.)
14. The entrance to the tunnels is hidden by a book called 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, a classic sci-fi story about a sea monster.
15. Molly's room is filled entirely with animal books.
16. There is a jelly fish on Molly's bed (possible connection to the monster??).
17. Molly has a chalkboard in her bedroom where she is a princess in an underwater castle and Sven is about to get attacked by a sea monster (slightly resembling the dragon slide).
18. As shark!Molly starts falling down the cliff, she passes a road where headlights are briefly scene.
19. When the monster gets back to Molly's room, the window that cat!Molly jumped through is still open.
20. There are still Christmas decorations in Molly's room.
21. The curse is 500 years old. That is a lot of dead people.
22. In Odin's viewfinder, it states "His [Odin's] daughter, Edie, is already dreaming of new Finch house" showing that even though her own father died not even a week ago, Edie has already moved on.
23. The house is filled head to toe with books about death, including two that Odin wrote.
24. Sven's shrine does not have a log painting like the rest of the family. His portrait is painted on a simple canvas.
25. Edie has a number of strange tapes in her room including one titled "conspiracy now".
26. The toys from Gregory's final bath are still in the bathroom.
27. There is an old bottle of alcohol in the bathroom bin.
28. A lot of Sam's photos are based on Calvin (a swing, astronauts).
29. All of Milton's drawings are based on the death. (Molly = cat, Barbara = pumpkin)
30. There are cigarettes and gin on Sam's side of the room he shared with Calvin.
31. Calvin already had bruises, Band-Aids and a cast on his leg when he died.
32. Sam blames himself for challenging Calvin.
33. In the story, Calvin doesn't fall. He keeps flying.
34. Barbara's birthday cake is still in her room.
35. Barbara is holding crutches in her portrait.
36. There are totem-esc styles statues of both Calvin and Molly
37. Barbara's outfit is over the railing.
This is the same way the Hook-Man falls
38. "Performance of her life" can also mean that it is the performance she is known for.
39. There are spare portrait logs in the basement.
40. There is a fake window in the basement.
41. Edie's grave is finished despite her dying and then nobody else going to the house.
42. There is no grave for Milton.
43. Lewis' grave has a crown on it.
44. There are times wear it seems like you can hear sobbing (this one may just be me).
45. There is a box of Kay's old stuff in Sam's bedroom.
46. Odin has a park named after him.
47. This isn't a fact but I think this may be one of the funniest photos of the game (LIKE SIR? YOUR DAUGHTER IS SOBBING!).
48. Both Calvin and Dawn are on Sam's shrine.
49. Gus has a skateboard over his name.
50. Gregory has the soap bottle from his final bath in his shrine.
51. The music cuts out when Gregory isn't moving.
52. Same also blames himself for Gregory.
53. Gus never met his step mother.
54. Gus was crushed by the (totem) statues of his deceased relatives.
55. Dawn's light switch is the only one on
56. Most of the rules are about past deaths. (No playing outside without permission : Calvin, No answering door for strangers : Barbara, No messes after dark : Molly (???)).
57. Milton's garden has a castle (reference to the Unfinished Swan)
58. There is a small Sanjay shrine in the classroom
59. Edith JR did an assignment on her family history.
60. Lewis drew on his desk.
61. There is no death date for Milton on his peephole.
62. Edith JR wrote Milton's death date as 2003 (the year he disappeared).
63. The door from the flip book is in Milton's room.
64. Lewis' dream Palace is decorated with fish.
65. The gnomes scattered around the house are outside the original house in Edie's story.
66. The credits roll in reverse order.
AND THAT'S IT!! I had a few others I thought didn't need to go in.

bury these bones â spencer reid.
writing masterlist | askbox
âââ summary: spencer's day isn't anything more than average, but a surprise phone call and impromptu hospital visit have him rethinking his expectations.
âââ pairing: spencer reid x autistic!medical examiner!reader.
âââ warnings: fluff, a little angst, reader is autistic & a mom, no use of y/n. swearing. mild description of injuries (not serious), references to the 'lauren' arc of season 6, hospitals, this is mostly just flirting with a bit of background angst. i did do some research but honestly all facts & figures in this are probably Not Accurate and should absolutely never be repeated.
âââ word count: 1.9k.
IT ISNâT OFTEN THAT SPENCER is the first one into the office. More often than not, Hotch is already at his desk by the time dawn breaks, and Morgan can usually be found finishing up in the gym. Nobody ever expects Rossi to arrive on time â he usually strolls in a little after 9:30 with his blazer slung over his arm and a half-finished espresso in his hand â and Emily maintains some semblance of a work-life balance by appearing no sooner than work is supposed to start, if she can help it.
The point, Spencer supposes, is that his routine usually falls comfortably in the middle and yet, today, as he emerges from the elevator and heads towards his desk, the bullpen is almost eerily quiet.
Bizarre, he thinks, setting his bag down by his chair. The BAU is so often abuzz with activity, the low hum of worker bees all in a hive slipping into background noise, that to see it so empty is⌠jarring, to say the least.
Spencer heads for the kitchen after a moment, ears ringing in the silence, and makes a pot of coffee before meandering back to his desk. A glance at the clock tells him that itâs still early, and as a mouthful of too-sweet coffee sits on his tongue, he reaches into his bag and draws out todayâs paper, flipping through to the crossword.
Silence is golden, after all. If heâs lucky, heâll beat his personal best.
Heâs halfway through, about to move on to 6, down, when the phone rings. The shrill sound of it pierces the air, and Spencer canât help flinching a little as it startles him. Eyes dart all over the bullpen, trying to locate the source of the noise, before they land on Emily's desk. The offending phone trills on and on. One of the lights blinks red. External call.
He discards the newspaper on his desk, tucking a spare pen inside so the page isnât lost, and strides across the office to Emilyâs desk to answer the phone. It wonât be the first time heâs taken a message for one of his coworkers, and he suspects Emily would rather this than letting the call ring out.
âAgent Prentissâ phone.â His voice feels too loud in the sudden silence of the office, now that the ringing has ceased. âDr. Reid speaking. Can I help you?â
âDr. Reid?â The voice crackling down the line lilts with confusion, and his chest floods with warmth at the familiarity of it.
He can almost picture you, in his mindâs eye. The exact expression on your face as you hear him speak instead of Emily, the little scrunch of your nose, your head tilting to the side. Itâs the same look you have when you find something strange inside a cadaver.
The same bewildered wrinkle appears between your brows when youâre on the plane after a case and Spencerâs trying to teach you how to play chess, and you start to laugh and tell him youâre hopeless, but his persistence is endearing, so you let him explain the rules all over again.
(Youâve only been part of the team for a few months, only accompanied them on cases a handful of times, but the sound of your voice is as familiar to him as the moon on a winterâs night. He canât quite put his finger on when or how he became so attuned to you, drawn in the same way the moon pulls the tide, but heâs certainly not complaining.)
âI keep telling you to call me Spencer.â An amused smile tugs at the corner of his mouth.
     You scoff. âThatâs not professional.â
âOur technical analyst tucks fluffy pens into her hair, and on our last case together I walked in on you dancing to Abba in the middle of an autopsy. I think professionalism is a thing of the past.â
âBite me, Dr. Reid,â you say, but your words are flooded with affection. âWhereâs Prentiss? Why are you answering her phone?â
Spencer shrugs. âSheâs not in yet. Anything I can help with?â
Silence. If not for the sound of your breathing, Spencer might think the call dropped.
Another moment passes before you swallow thickly, a quiet gulp that sends an odd zing skittering through Spencerâs nervous system.
âI need a favour and I donât want to worry Jackie.â
From what heâs heard about your sister-in-law, Spencer thinks thatâs fair. âSure, what is it?â
âCan you pick me up from the hospital?â
Recent surveys conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago suggest that almost half of the American population dislike hospitals, so Spencer knows heâs not alone in his discomfort, but none of his facts and figures are helpful the moment he steps into the Emergency Room at St. Sebastianâs.
The clinical scent of disinfectant sends a thousand tiny spiders crawling up his spine. He tries not to gag but he swears he can taste it at the back of his throat. Spencer forces himself to pause near the door and shuts his eyes, just for a moment, to focus on the solid ground beneath his feet rather than the lurching of his stomach.
In his line of work, heâs no stranger to hospitals. To meandering through long, dim corridors in search of something to occupy his thoughts, of all the beige and stark white walls so bright it hurts his eyes, of lumpy hospital beds and IVs itching beneath his skin and that smell.
He was here, not that long ago. Heâd wept when they told him Emily had died in surgery, and sheâs fine now, but he can still taste iron on his tongue and sometimes itâs still hard to believe sheâs alive until she walks through the door unharmed.
When he opens his eyes again, the ER is still the same, but the unpleasant churning in his stomach has started to subside. At the desk, he reels off your name, stuttering as he goes, before the nurse directs him over to Bay 3.
I was in a car accident. Thatâs what youâd said on the phone, and his whole body had gone suddenly cold even though youâd seemed oddly cheery, and heâd had to remind himself to breathe. You were calling, not a nurse or a doctor, so it surely couldnât be that bad.
But he doesnât believe it, not really. Not until he sets eyes on you himself. Not until he can see the truth right in front of him.
Youâre sitting cross-legged on one of the narrow ER beds. The curtain is pushed out of the way, and he can see your shoes have been tucked neatly beside the bed and your socks have little mushrooms on them. Youâre not in a hospital gown but jeans, and a laugh bubbles up in his throat because your shirt says âmeaner than I lookâ, which is patently untrue in his experience â but he also files this away in the rolodex of reasons you should call him Spencer, because you were going to show up to work dressed like this, and he never wants to hear the word professional out of your mouth again.
He also wants to take a picture, kind of, because thereâs something so endearing about the image. Heâs often grateful to have an eidetic memory, but never more than in this moment. He wants to remember this forever.
Spencer clears his throat as he approaches. The smile you send him as you look up and notice him is bright and wide and it makes him feel all warm and happy, like a cat curled up in a patch of sunlight.
âWhat happened?â His gaze is wary as it trails over you from head to toe, quickly cataloguing all your injuries. You hadnât explained much over the phone, and he hadnât thought to ask in his haste to reach the hospital, but now his eyes snag on the bruise blossoming over your cheek and itâs all he can think about.
You donât look too bad, all things considered.
The bruise looks worse than it feels. The collar of your shirt is speckled with blood, but the cut above your temple is shallow and sealed with two steri-strips.
     All-in-all, it couldâve been worse.
âMy tire blew while I was driving into work this morning,â you tell him as you tuck an errant strand of hair behind your ear. âThe car spun out. All of thisââ You gesture vaguely at your face, âwas caused by the airbag. But Iâm fine.â
Itâs not that Spencer thinks youâre lying. Itâs not.
But you canât quite look him in the eye, and youâre wearing the same guilty expression you have when you pilfer the last of the coffee, so heâs not about to take your word for it.
A quick glance at your chart offers all the answers.
     âYou have a concussion!â
âA mild concussion! Mild! I donât even have a headache!â
Itâs a good thing you called himâ or, well, Emily, rather than your sister-in-law. According to you, Jackie has been known to freak out over a paper cut. This might have given her a coronary.
Spencer frowns. âYou needed a CT scan.â
âPrecautionary measure.â A nonchalant wave of your hand follows your words. âIâm a doctor too, remember? Iâm fine. Really.â
âThey say doctors make the worst patients.â
You grin at him. âI already had a meltdown in the bathroom earlier. Scared a nurse. I think he wanted to sedate me but then he saw my lanyard and he took me to a quiet room to decompress. Iâm good, I promise.â
The lanyard in question is covered in little sunflowers and tucked inside one of your shoes for safekeeping. Displayed on one side of the little plastic window is your Quantico identification; on the other, a little slip of paper Spencer suspects you made yourself, judging by the pink floral background and slanting script that Iâm autistic and trying my fucking best.
The sight of it is familiar to him now, the same way your smile is seared onto his brain for eternity, but he recalls seeing it for the first time and chuckling. Youâd offered to get one for him, too, gleefully declaring that youâre just like a sunflower, Dr. Reid, and thereâd been so many butterflies in his stomach that he could have taken flight, then and there.
Now he merely hums, and shoves his hands deep into his pockets. Stepping back, he watches as you slip your shoes back on and shoulder your bag, having signed a release form not long before he arrived.
âHey, Spencer?â Your voice is small, and the way youâre looking at him, all wide-eyed and wonderful, brings those butterflies back tenfold. He hopes the flush of his cheeks isnât too obvious.
     âYeah?â
âThank you for coming to get me. Iâm really okay, I promise. Iâve had worse.â
     His heart pinches.
He doesnât like that youâve had worse.
âWell,â he says, after a moment too long of staring at you, âmild or not, Iâm not leaving you alone for the rest of the day. Weâre going to follow the concussion protocol. 65% of people reported developing hearing and memory problems as a result of missed symptoms of head-related trauma last year.â
Youâre watching him. The corner of your eyes are a little wrinkled. A fond smile toys on your lips. âI expected nothing less, Dr. Reid.â

take my hands (we can fall together) | lee chan | master list
summary: chan's known you for years and he knows you're friends, but you've always felt just a little bit out of reach. like you see him as someone your brother brought into the friend group when you were kids. he's fine with that. still, it's hard to watch you settle for relationships where you're never the priority. when the weather starts cooling off, chan figures your favorite season is the time to show you that you deserve better. even if it's not him. pairing: brother's best friend!chan x f.reader genre: friends to ??, pining, slow burn | fluff, some angst, smut rating: explicit (not til part 3) warnings: explicit smut, unhealthy relationships (background character), mentions of food, mentions of drinking, see parts for more detailed warnings word count: ~23.5k
note: this kinda got away from me, but this is a 3 part fic of @svthub's fall collab (read the rest of the amazing fics here). so i'm putting together a masterlist. thanks as always to my bby indi @classicscreations for an amazing banner! see below the cut for a teaser đ part one 6.6k part two 7.7k part three 9.2k status: complete
let me know if you want to be added to the taglist! (comment, send an ask, send a DM)
Fall has never been Chanâs favorite season. The weather cools down, but itâs in this weird in-between. One day, itâs cold enough for heavy jackets, and the next itâs almost warm enough to wear shorts. It starts to get dark too early as the days get shorter, which makes it feel like thereâs just less time in the day. Or, even worse, there are days when Chan leaves the apartment in the dark and returns in the dark. Everything feels like itâs dying with the leaves falling. It seems like it should be a season of thankfulness and friends and holidays, but it just ends up feeling like an ending in a bad way. Heâs not cynical, heâs just not really sure he likes this time of year.
âI wish I had someone to do fall things with me,â you announce to nobody in particular.Â
Okay, well maybe Chan needs to rethink this whole opinion on the season. Because hereâs the other thing, heâs always been drawn to you. Sure, youâre his friend. Itâs just, heâs always been closer to your brother, Jay. Always a little envious, too. You and Jay are friends as much as siblings, despite you being two years older. So much so that your friend group is somewhat merged. Chan knows that Jay has friends you donât hang around and that the same goes for you. Itâs still nice, though. Seeing the two you, he understands what it means to love family and also like them.Â
Yet in all those years of friendship, Chan can still remember the moment when he started seeing you differently. Youâd called Jay late one night, no text or anything, and Jay picked up right away because it was so unlike you. It was your first real breakup, a guy you met and started dating in college, the only time you and Jay had been really separated. Even if the separation was only a two hour drive. You were so devastated that Jay switched to a video call and convinced you to come home for the weekend. All Chan can remember is how much he wanted to protect you from ever feeling that way again. He knew you didnât deserve the way that guy made you feel. Then, the new school year came around, and he and Jay were on campus with you. The draw has only gotten stronger since then.
