Story Summary: Back in crèche Y’llek Lae’zel found a lone githyanki egg. With all other life in the crèche wiped out, Lae’zel brought the egg with her. She has been carrying it and watching it ever since. It shouldn’t hatch anytime soon…should it?

A series of one shots in no particular order except for the first two. This thought came to me as I wrote Chapter 42 in "Fire and Runepowder" When asking about the Githyanki Egg and seeing how protective she is over the egg.

"Perhaps I should call you mommy Lae'zel"

"Only if you want to be roasted over the fire with my sword as the spit."

Lae'zel thinks the egg will not hatch anytime soon, but what if she was wrong and it does hatch sometime during Act 3? She is also convinced that it is safer with her rather than in camp. So, what will she do with Xan once the egg hatches?

En este "objeto narrativo no identificado", el autor realiza un auténtico viaje al interior de una comunidad en lucha que resiste ahora y siempre al invasor. Traducimos hoy una serie de fragmentos del libro sobre la historia de la República Libre de Venaus, uno de los puntos álgidos del movimiento No TAV que, en 2005, consiguió —aun sin obtener una victoria definitiva— torcerle el brazo al poder. No lo hacemos con ánimo nostálgico, sino para recordar hasta dónde puede llegar la potencia colectiva cuando se trata de defender el territorio y la vida comunes.»

Una foto, scattata da un drone il 3 settembre 2024, mostra il Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge in costruzione nella provincia sud-occidentale cinese del Guizhou. Con un'altezza progettata di 625 metri tra la piattaforma e il sottostante fiume Beipanjiang, il ponte, la cui costruzione è iniziata nel 2022, sarà il più alto del mondo una volta completato nel 2025. L'infrastruttura, lunga 2.890 metri, si trova nella contea autonoma Miao di Bouyei a Guanling e fa parte di una superstrada che collega il distretto speciale di Liuzhi, della città di Liupanshui, e la contea di Anlong, della prefettura autonoma Miao di Bouyei a Qianxinan, nel Guizhou. L'ultima torre principale del ponte è stata completata il 24 ottobre 2023. I cavi principali sono stati posati al completo nei giorni scorsi, dalla costruzione iniziata il 9 aprile 2024. Con un periodo di costruzione previsto di 42 mesi e un costo totale di 2 miliardi di yuan (circa 280 milioni di dollari), dopo il suo completamento il ponte diventerà il più alto del mondo, superando il ponte Beipanjiang.

Un po' come i No-Ponte, i No-Trivelle e i No-Tav, non vedono oltre il proprio naso, e le istanze che portano avanti sono solo ideologia malsana.

The funniest part of romancing gale is knowing that mystra is most definitely watching your tav or Durge throwing it back on that man during his romance arc shenanigans. He’s actively doing magic during every romance scene, meaning that mystra is canonically duty bound to at least listen. Gale is essentially doing the fantasy equivalent of sending your ex a voice memo of you fucking your new partner in every romance scene. the scene channeling the weave? mystra’s there. astral projection glow in the dark fidget spinner bonefest? mystra’s there. the regular bed option? he summons the bed using magic, so mystra’s there too. scene where he takes you to the astral plane (aka mystra’s literal goddamn house)? mystra’s there. every time. she’s sitting in her little magical cuck chair in the corner watching her ex abuse victim boink his new (likely more age appropriate partner). and you know what? hell yeah. gale deserves a little bit of petty fuckery in his life. go off king
