COVID compliance

birdwatching, but for like. algae and slugs and stuff. (they’re too advanced for just birds)

dealing with medical negligence

online shopping (they have 2k tabs open at all times)

marketplace bartering (in any locale)

elementary school riddles (green glass door, etc.)

starting underground rainbow loom empires (adult or child, doesn’t matter)

cutthroat pitchfork reviews

letterboxd (rating film by various, limited metrics? they consider it humanity’s greatest contribution in eons; one of the reasons they make first contact)

writing unhinged YouTube comments

patiently discovering, and reviewing, each ending of a choose-your-own-adventure book

the thing about being a self-professed slut is that people really, really don’t want the details. Bruce Wayne limps into a boardroom at Wayne Enterprises, makes finger guns at Lucius Fox, and loudly says rough night with a suggestive wiggle of his eyebrows.

suddenly no one in that room is pressing him for details. they absolutely don’t want further illustration of whatever encounter Wayne had last night, and that’s exactly why they ignore the clearly broken and taped ribs, the way the limp is a strained ankle and not something else, the puffiness to his nose that suggests someone hit him in the face with a closed fist, multiple times. one look at that suggestive, playboy smile and the rest of the details fade away.

T'Pol got to have a happy marriage with Trip... she got to come back to Star Trek and be treated like she deserves (as a beloved character and insanely cool person, not as a sex object)... she got to have a subplot with Curzon Dax... I'm so fucking happy right now you don't understand. She escaped the narrative! She escaped Rick Berman! She got to have an ending on her terms, and that means everything.
