#Ninjago Nya x P. I. X. A. L

So, It’s been basically eons since I’ve touched this AU and I’m going to be editing/addressing a few things about it.

I’m going to be changing the shipping as I prefer Polyninja(Kai is also with Skylor but she’s not interested in the other ninja) and Samurai(Nya x P.I.X.A.L.) over Jaya and Lava nowadays. I am going to be leaving in Jay’s past crush because I think it’s funny he fell in love with both siblings.

I won’t be adding any of Dragons rising lore to this Au since I’ve never watched it and I don’t feel like watching another show just to add it to the Au’s lore.

While I have watched season 5 of Lego monkie kid, I’m not adding it either. I do like the season but I don’t love it enough to put it’s lore into my Au.

Because I enjoy happiness from time to time, I’m keeping the spider queen and her goons alive along with Azure. Cause they have pretty privileges.

In order to add the two shows’ lore together, it’s guaranteed that I will have to change a few things to make them fit plus I wanna add some of my own lore to it. (Prepare for dragon family lore)

So I came across a TikTok that basically said” Kai from Ninjago looks like the combination of Red Son and MK.” and then my mind decided to make an entire AU based on this but instead of Spicynoodles, it’s Chimera because Nya is Kai’s Sister and Nya looks closer to Mei. I also began rewatching Ninjago because of this, I’m on the season of after Nya’s sacrifice.

The Main Plots Points of Chimera’s Cubs

Kai is born maybe after 5-10 years after the whole LBD Thing, then Nya after two years

Kai and Nya were kidnapped by Mayor and were dropped off at Ray and Maya’s home

The Mayor jumped realms using the last of his magic to teleport to Ninjago and is also stuck there

“How did The Mayor get away with this?”you may ask, Easy,He set their home on fire as a distraction. As a result of this,they (Chimera) thought their children had died in the fire.

As a result of this, Chimera nearly fell apart because of their children’s deaths.

But when one of Red Son’s robot bull clones finds evidence that the kids survived the fire, they try and find out where they are for the next 17-ish years(haven’t fully decided yet)

They find them in between the ghost season and before Jin season

Kai has a bull form and Nya has a dragon form

Lava is canon in this Au

Jay x Nya is still canon in this Au

Kai has some stripes of red hair from Red Son

Kai can also access the Samadhi Fire like in the novel of the journey to the west

Nya can go into human, halfling and full dragon

Nya has vague memories of her original parents

Nya’s eyes are actually blue which scares her parents at first

Random Ninjago headcanons bouncing around my brain

❄️•Zane gets called Elsa so often that it becomes second nature to everyone (besides Wu, Misako, etc) to call him Elsa. P. I. X. A. L doesn't call him Elsa but she does call him her "snowflake" or "ice Prince"

🌊• Nya is one of the tallest members on the team (Cole is the tallest, then Zane and Nya comes third)

🔥🌊• Before they reunited with their parents in Hands of Time Kai and Nya went back to their home town and visited their families blacksmith shop as often as they could. They usually just talk about funny childhood memories while walking around the shop. One of their kind neighbours offered to look after it when Kai and Nya left to join Master Wu and the ninja officially.

🔥🌊/💚• when they were younger Nya would sometimes find it hard to sleep so she'd sneak into her brothers room as quietly as she could and curl up against his back. Even before unlocking his elemental powers Kai's body heat was slightly higher than normal making him a walking talking heater so the heat of his body, the reassurance that she wasn't alone and he wasn't going anywhere usually lulled her to sleep but on the off chance it didn't she'd wake him and ask him to tell her stories. Kai became really good at making up stories on the fly and when Lloyd came into the picture years later Kai would tell him bedtime stories if he was finding it hard to sleep.

⚡️🪨• Cole and Jay have matching friendship bracelets. When he's nervous or doesn't know what to do with his hands Jay messes with the bracelet as a way to ground himself. Neither of them ever take the bracelets off even during the events of Rebooted + Tournament Of Elements when they were fighting over Nya they both REFUSED to take them off.

🌊⚡️• Jay was the one who taught Nya how to do makeup.

🔥⚡️• Kai and Jay tie for shortest members on the team.

🔥• Kai enjoys sunbathing

🪨• While he doesn't work as a lumberjack anymore, Cole still goes out into the forest near the monastery and chops wood. He finds it helps him let off steam.

❄️• Zane enjoys wordsearches, in the evening after dinner he'll sit in his armchair, a cup of tea beside him (for the aesthetic- he's a robot he can't drink tea) and do his wordsearch until its time for nightly patrol.

🔥• When blacksmithing wasn't working out and money was tight, Kai would babysit some of the younger kids in their small village for extra cash. He thought that might entice Nya to make friends, but she was a lone wolf type often holding herself up in her room tinkering or down in the blacksmith shop.

🌊• Nya would venture down to her villages local dump and salvage parts from the old appliances. She would bring them home and tinker with them in her room.

Actually no idk where to start with this there’s so much anon there’S SO M U C H I guess I’ll do a run of MINIMAL changes tho (for as long as I can)

I don’t think I have to change much in the first two seasons, thankfully, since the writers actually sat down to think about what they were writing at the time but g o d did it go to hell afterwards

Season 3 - This Zane focused season is going to be ZANE FOCUSED DAMN IT. We’re focusing on his loss over his Father, having salt rubbed in the wound by having his father’s work turned into an evil army, and being faced with the fact he’s obsolete compared to it all. He keeps trying to stack up numbers to win, recalculate things, and it’s why his line at the ending ACTUALLY has impact. The thing that sets him apart from the nindroids, his ability to love, is what allows him to defeat the Overlord.

Jay, Cole and Nya love triangle is DESTROYED. Pixal, Zane and Cole is the new love triangle and later OT3

Season 4 - The explanation for the other EMs being around is far less stupid. Garmadon establishes that oh yeah all of your parents had elemental powers and even talks about a few of them because holy SHIT. Cole mentions his mom because he should have done that a g e s ago. Is this supposed to be a Kai season doesn’t feel like it. Open the season with better explanations of why the ninja split. Emphasis the fact that Kai blames himself for what happened to Zane, and continues to do so throughout the season. Add that to why he’s so desperate to save Skylor from her dad (not willing to lose someone else). We still lose Garmadon, Kai and Lloyd have a talk at the end of the season. Also ZANE IMMEDIATELY GOES TO GET PIXAL A NEW BODY WTHHH????

Season 5 - Idk this season was pretty good over all I think. A bit better lore established into the cloud kingdom, hints that they don’t actually control fate they just think they do. Explain where the FUCK NIMBUS CAME FROM?? Water can still beat up ghosts but idk feel like there should be some other factors involved, some magic. Kai and Zane figure out they can make water a LOT sooner. Also why doesn’t Kai just set the preeminent’s house armor on fire??? Should have. OH I did forget since this season is supposed to be for NYA GETTING HER WATER ELEMENT how about she actually GO WITH THE NINJA AND DO SOME SHIT SOMETIMES??? I don’t mind her training, specially Ronin helping her but like??? Wtf why not have her ENGAGE, idiots.

Season 6 - I’m the weirdo who actually likes season 6 but that doesn’t mean it’s not without its issues. I don’t mind Jay wondering about where he stands with Nya but his behavior throughout the season has to stay consistent. When he agrees with Nya he needs to let it go he needs to LET IT GO. IT LITERALLY SHOULDN’T BE BROUGHT UP AGAIN UNTIL THE LIGHTHOUSE. He also needs to linger more on his birth father (and besides he should have suspected he’s adopted since season 4 cause he knows neither of his parents had lightning powers). Zane doesn’t ignore Pixal’s warning about Nadakhan but if she’s off somewhere else idk how she gets threatened I’m sure Nadakhan could figure it out. OH and time can still reset and stuff idc but like, Jay and Nya need to talk about it and they need to GO BACK FOR ECHO. EVEN IF THEY DON’T FIND HIM THERE.

Day of the Departed - just wish it was longer tbh, but major changes: Why do the ninja not seem to care that cole is FADING OUT OF EXISTENCE and Lou should be a lot more worried about his son.

Season 7 - I mean, it’s mostly a trash fire, but I think it’d be a lot more enjoyable if they actually had good sibling dynamics going on. Acronix following his brother because he always has, but starts questioning their plans as things go. At first their relationship is much better, which is why they best Kai and Nya, but by the end that flips over. Actually have Kai and Nya having an ISSUE. Kai thinks their parents could have been traitors, Nya seemingly doesn’t care because she’s so wrapped up with her samurai x stuff being stolen. They end up fighting and don’t make up until the boiling sea. ALSO GIVE RAY AND MAYA A BETTER FUCKING EXCUSE FOR BEING GONE THEY COULD HAVE FUCKING SHANKED KRUX WHEN HIS BACK WAS TURNED GET OUT OF HERE HE HAD NO LEVERAGE.

Also Machia isn’t dead okay she’s just in the past she WILL COME BACK

Seasons 8 and 9 I’d say are pretty solid honestly? My minor changes: Garmadon isn’t Garmadon he’s a fucking fake get out of here with that shit THE REAL GARMADON WOULD NEVER. We actually learn where Mr. E came from I don’t even care if it’s just Harumi and UV talking about how they found him in a scrap heap and got him fixed just give me something. Stop treating Dareth like SHIT. Ronin and The Commissioner plan a jail break long before they’re let out in season 9. Teen Wu is a lot less... air headed. Like seriously he seems to have more logic when he’s a child it doesn’t add up. I’m not saying he has to remember everything but wth?? Oh, and Mistaké isn’t dead fuck you.

Season 10 - ............................................ delete it and start over. Literally, hate all of it, get it out of here. Four episodes for villains you built up like FUCK in the last two seasons??? All of them fucking as big as people???????? cowardly, weak, uninspired, I don’t want it I’m just going to have to redo this whole gd season. A) Oni leader is a QUEEN now and she can be up to 30 feet tall no I do not give a FUCK B) Fake ass Garmadon is revealed to be a different oni entirely he was an agent for the queen the whole time but never finished his mission C) She can still paralyze a bunch of people but man Lloyd you’re going to need more than a shiny tornado to fight her off. D) In fact you need to summon your other great grandma so the two of them can get over their divorce spat. E) Where’s the mask of vengeance bring that back into play. F) Mistaké shows back up to help. I suppose plot wise it can?? Mostly run the same but I think they’re going to have to run much farther than the city with how fast she spreads her reach. Also she’s weak for Lloyd because he’s the smol great grandson and he has to use that to his advantage to slow her down. Mistaké makes something that can unparalyze people and they get some of their allies back before the finale thank god. Faith isn’t just in a coma the whole GD time.

Season 11 - Fire half? Good. I need a much better reason why the ninja go to the never realm tho because wow did they just make everyone out of character in that last episode. The ninja have no reason to just ignore Wu and shove him out like that. Wu has no reason to NOT NOTICE LLOYD IS BREAKING INTO HIS ROOM WHEN HE WAS KICKING THE NINJAS ASSES IN THE FIRST EPISODE. Ice half?? ... h Yeah no they should have known Zane was the emperor from the start LMAO. Or at least suspected the possibility. The decades of time passing??? Deleted. Maybe give it a year. Idk why it’s just Lloyd snapping Zane out if why aren’t the other ninja involved like p l e a s e. Also kill Vex with an ice spike, thanks.

Season 12 - Over all I liked what this season had going but there... should have been more. And that ending felt so crunched together like damn... Unagami was a p cool villain at least BUT idk, despite all the focus on the plot so much of it didn’t feel tangible enough. Even if we’re going to focus more on the video game world I want to see more of what these NPCs are up to. Should have tossed in a couple of filler episodes. Also can someone just kill the Mechanic too SMH (and they should have tied Wu up in something sturdier how did he not just break out of that WHATEVER)

Suppose I’ll stop there I haven’t season season 13 yet.

Oh, the timeline itself needs some fucking work too. At least establish Wu and Garmadon’s sudden aging. At least establish how old Zane is (I’d believe he was built 40 years ago but I find it hard to believe he was active for all of it). Establish that yeah the FSM really did basically fuck off like idk 14 years ago and idk why the show acts like it was so long ago it couldn’t have been based on the other facts we know have Wu learn that his dad is a bitch ass motherfucker and he needs to ditch.

Okay now that I know I won’t be clogging people’s dashes buckle the fuck in my dude and I should stress that I literally would not be talking about this as much as I will be if I didn’t genuinely enjoy the show. I’m gonna go season by season and just Rant

S1 has the serpentine as the bbeg and like, as far as villains go they’re p lit. They’re early enough that they haven’t been done to hell, things are fresh, the characters and dynamics are being fleshed out, and all in all s1 is a pretty solid season. There’s some fuckery that gets brought up re: how the FUCK aging works and what the actual timeline of Ninjago is and how Wu and Garmadon fit into that timeline, fuckery that LITERALLY NEVER GETS RESOLVED IN A SATISFYING WAY BC ITS REVEALED IN A LATER SEASON (s8, dw we’ll get there lmao) THAT THE ONLY REASON THE FIRST SPINJITSU MASTER, WU, AND GARMADON LIVED AS LONG AS THEY DID IS CUZ THEYRE BASICALLY DEMIGODS AND ITS IMPLIED THAT LLOYD WILL ALSO LIVE FOR A LONG ASS TIME WHICH MEANS ONE DAY HES GONNA OUTLIVE ALL HIS FRIENDS AND EVERYONE HE EVER LOVED WHICH IS A FUN THING TO THINK ABOUT AT NIGHT But anyway I digress, s1 also coincidentally introduces Lloyd (he wasn’t in the pilot episodes that set up the rest of the series) and the existence of Evil Dad Garmadon.

S2 is where Garmadon starts acting a lot more Evil and a lot less Dad. He’s the main antagonist for that season, and I actually read somewhere that the show was originally slated to end after s2 which high key explains the fuckery of literally every single season after this lmaooooo. Much like s1, I really can’t find much to complain about, the first two seasons are pretty decent as far as I can remember

I hate season three for entirely personal reasons revolving around the STUPID GODDAMN ROMANCE WRITING. okay lemme back up and explain a thing first so, Jay is dating Nya and they’re fine, they’re going steady, aND THEN????? THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON INTRODUCES BULLSHIT LOVE TRIANGLE FUCKERY FOR ZERO GODDAMN REASON, BITCH I HATE LOVE TRIANGLES AND I HATE THEM EVEN MORE WHEN THEYRE DONE FOR NO GODDAMN REASON!!! AND THEN. AS IF THAT WERENT ENOUGH. THEY SHOEHORNED A ROBOT ROMANCE BETWEEN ZANE AND PIXAL AND I KNOW I RANTED ABOUT THIS A LITTLE BIT WHEN I WAS ACTUALLY WATCHING BUT I DIDNT GO INTO ENOUGH DETAIL!!!! THEY MADE THE OTHER NINJA OOC IN ORDER TO PROP UP THEIR SHIP!!!!!! AND AT ONE POINT ZANE GOES “its like we were…made for each other” AND I HAD TO FUCUCJDHVE I HAD TO SCREAM INTO A PILLOW BRO, IM SO TIRED!!!! NO THE FUCK YOU WERENT!!!!!! YOU WERE MADE FOR YOU AND PIXAL WAS MADE FOR PIXAL AND IF YALLS WANNA BANG BOLTS THATS FINE BUT DONT IMPLY THAT EITHER OF YOU WERE MADE INCOMPLETE!!!! S4 is honestly one of my favorites, even though the romance crimes continue (the love triangle bullshit is continuing and honestly I maintain that Cole, Nya, and Jay should all have gotten together and in my personal canon they DID, and also Kai has a forced romance) the VILLAIN makes up for it imo. He’s campy!! He’s funny!! He’s a clown!! He’s serious enough that if he says “I’m gonna kill you” HE MEANS IT and that’s so fucking refreshing!!!! S4 is honestly 8/10 just for the villain alone, don’t like that it retconned the SHIT out of the elemental masters and how many different elements there are TO master but eh, it’s ninjago, shit is stupid.

S5 was…interesting? OH WAIT I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT S3 INTRODUCED A GARMADON WHO WAS A LOT LESS EVIL AND A LOT MORE DAD, HONESTLY I THOUGHT IT TOOK A LOT OF THE FLAVOR OUT BUT THATS JUST ME LMAOOO. anyway s5 killed Garmadon, and I was a little sad cuz I like him okay??? I just think he’s NEAT, he’s got big dad energy, he was teaching Lloyd some shit that just got DROPPED and literally was never brought up again which is honestly a theme in Ninjago. Ninjago drinking game: take a shot every time they introduce a plot point or ability and drop it at or before the end of the season. WHICH THEY ALSO DID IN S5 WITH A DIFFERENT POWER ACTUALLY, so all the ninja are masters of Spinjitsu right, well s5 introduced the concept of Airjitsu which only Spinjitsu masters can learn and it lets them FLY and they used that for seasons 5 and 6 and then they nEVER BROUGHT IT UP AGAIN EVEN THOUGH IT WOULDVE COME IN HANDY FOR S E V E R A L DIFFERENT SITUATIONS ACROSS THE SEASONS, ONE OF THEM WOULD BE FALLING TO THEIR DOOM AND MY ASS WOULD BE YELLING “YOU CAN FLY, DUMBASS” - anyway, they do that again later lmao it’s fine. But what’s low key NOT fine is they made Nya the WATER NINJA!!! Like I’m not mad she has powers, except I kinda am, she was doing just fine as Samurai X and honestly the only reason she has super special ninja powers is for plot reasons. Also Cole got turned into a ghost, but by s7 he’s????? No longer a ghost????????? And that’s NEVER addressed or reasoned away, so like. Cool lmao

S6 didn’t happen. Like, canonically, s6 ends with wish fuckery that undoes the entire season and none of the characters remember anything that happened except Jay and Nya because S6 is the season where they get back together so they remember all those events for???? Feelings reasons?????? Unclear, moving on. The actual bbeg for S6 was a djinn with a vaguely Spanish accent, and to this DAY I don’t know why they made him have a SPANISH accent. Djinn are Arabic, not Spanish!! They’re not central or South American, either!!!! Your villain design makes no sense, do better

S7 had MORE time fuckery, and retconned what happened to Kai and Nya’s parents and hmmmhmhmhmhmhm that makes me Upsetti Spaghetti :3 not just the retconning, but the fact that they LITERALLY brought them back oNLY TO NEVER MENTION THEM AGAIN!!!!!! LITERALLY!!!!!!!! Okay so at the VERY very beginning, like pilot episodes beginning, Kai talks about their dad like he died/left fairly recently, BUT s7 contradicts that and claims that both of their parents were essentially abducted when Kai and Nya were little kids, which makes me question what in the fresh fuck two little kids were doing for all those years alone. SETTING THAT ASIDE FOR A HOT SECOND, their parents were also apparently good friends of Wu’s and old war buddies (from the Serpentine wars, which is YET ANOTHER bit of the timeline that doesn’t quite add up but honestly I could make a whole other post about that shit). But if they were such good fucking friends, why didn’t Wu check in every now and again??? What the fuck was Wu doing that was so fucking important that he couldn’t have been assed to visit his friends ONCE in like TEN MOTHERFUCKING YEARS and realize “oh shit, they’re not here and there are two tiny children running around unsupervised…My Kids Now : )” LIKE????? WU YOU LOW KEY SHOULDA LOOKED OUT FOR YOUR FRIENDS’ KIDS BETTER, THEY COULDA DIED BRO!!! Uhhhh the time fuckery also results in Wu getting yeeted ahead in time a bit and the ninja gotta find him

Season. Eight. I have…mixed feelings about this one. The beginning absolutely SLAUGHTERED me, and not in a “this is so fucking funny” way. No, the beginning made me feel like I was being flayed alive with just about every episode because Ninjago was back on its forced romance bullshit and this time it was Lloyd’s turn on the chopping block. That hurt my soul cuz like, look at that mans color scheme, he’s CLEARLY alloaro, why are you forcing romance on my aro man, why would you hurt me like that, BUT ALSO BECAUSE HE AND THE GIRL HE WAS BEING SET UP WITH HAD A LITTLE HEART TO HEART REALLY EARLY ON AND IT WAS THE MOST QUEER CODED SHIT!!!! IT DEADASS READ AS A CONVERSATION BETWEEN AN OUT AND PROUD QUEER AND A CLOSETED QUEER AND THEY MADE!!! IT!!!!! STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! The only thing that kept me watching at first was wanting to find Wu, and then I started enjoying myself once Cole found a plot-relevant baby and had fatherhood thrust upon him. Everything went from “ehhhhh” to “holy shit this FUCKS” once it was revealed that Rumi (Lloyd’s love interest) wAS PLAYING HIM THE WHOLE TIME AND WAS EVIL AND HAD AN EVIL GIRLFRIEND!!!!!! LITERALLY IMPROVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SEASON FOR ME, I COULD EVEN FORGIVE THE WHOLE “let’s resurrect Garmadon, but as evil as possible” BULLSHIT!!!!!!

S9 is a continuation of s8, Garmadon is back and 1000% Evil, 10% Dad, but none of the Dad energies is directed at Lloyd - it’s all directed at Rumi, and honestly I could write a whole ass post on just RUMI cuz that’s honestly my DAUGHTER and I LOVE HER and I’m MAD SHE DIES AT THE END OF THIS SEASON!!!! SHE DESERVED THERAPY AND TO LIVE WITH HER GF AND MAYBE SOME CRIME. AS A TREAT. RUMI DESERVED BETTER AND LOW KEY IM GONNA WRITE A FIC ABOUT IT, BUT ANYWAY WHERE WAS I

Ah right, so s9 has the four major Ninja stuck in the original dimension with no way home, while Lloyd has no powers (cuz he almost died last season) and has to somehow lead a resistance against Garmadon (who has taken control of Ninjago City and is working on the rest of Ninjago). Actually, s9 is pretty cool. Like, the end of s8 and into s9 are low key my favorite episodes, and I kinda wanna rewatch them now -

S10 is a FUN one. Garmadon got got last season, but he didn’t DIE, so he’s in cold storage and now there’s Another Threat and he’s the only one who knows wtf they’re up against so they let him out and he works with them. The funny part is, he is still Very Much Evil and doesn’t quite Get emotions like he did when he was, uh, human lmao, sO HE WOKE UP EVERY DAY DURING THAT SEASON AND DECIDED TO CAUSE PROBLEMS ON PURPOSE. IT WAS THE FUNNIEST FUCKING SHIT. 1000000/10 MY FAVORITE GARMADON, he ended that season by literally fucking off into Ninjago and they never decided to track him down 😭😭😭😭😭and I’m so SAD about it dude

S11 has another Serpentine as the bbeg, though in the setup to that they retconned how the fucking Serpentine tribes and history work??? I think???? Also Wu was a good 150% angrier and generally Done with the ninja’s shit, which was honestly refreshing tho I’m not quite sure I liked what the refreshed view was, but whatever lmao. S11 also had the ninja get yeeted to the dimension farthest from Ninjago, and honestly - okay, so they didn’t all go at the same TIME, Zane left about a week or two before the others did but there was time dilation fuckery afoot which I’m not too mad about cuz low key it makes sense. What I AM mad about is that they didn’t play the angst up to its full POTENTIAL!!!!!! Zane was EVIL in the other dimension!!!! Okay so I’m Ninjago he was only gone for maybe a week or two, but DECADES had passed in the other one, and all that time Zane was alone and disconnected from everyone he knew and loved, with a staff that boosted his power while slowly corrupting him and Turning Him Evil to help him, and like???? The thought of Zane trying to find a way home, trying to get SOME sort of message back, while he has to use the staff more and more to help him survive the long, lonely decades, so that by the time his family DOES show up its too late??? BRO. B R O. THAT JUST HITS DIFFERENT, BUT NINJAGO DIDNT DO THAT!!! THEY MADE HIM EVIL DUE TO MEMORY WIPE!!!!!! MEMORY WIPE IS BABY SHIT COMPARED TO A LONG, SLOW CORRUPTION!!!!!!

S12 was alright. It went into Cole’s mom, touched on some of the adventures she had had, threatened another forced romance (this time on poor Cole, just leave my mans ALONE) but thankfully didn’t follow through this time, introduced cool new powers that honestly hasn’t been elaborated on since that’s the most recent season I think lmao

The nindroid could only stare at his new team, em, brothers. Yes, brothers. He just couldn't believe the fact that now, he had a family, a real family that didn't use him because of his lack of interest in other activities more than helping out others. As far as he remembers, his name was Zane, he was sixteen when he found out that he had amnesia, which causes him to forget everything about himself, or most of it. He only knew his name, alias, and age, most of his other knowledge was because it was self taught throughout time.

He was sixteen when he found his real family, his brothers, sister, and Sensei. And after a few months living with Cole Broockstone and Jay Walker, the other two parts of his Ninja team as well, they found out about the new Ninja member, Kai Smith, and, with some egocentric motives under hand, since he only joined because he was trying to rescue his little sister, Nya Smith.

He was sixteen when they found out about the Golden Weapons, powerful and mystic relics that held the power of one of the Elements of Creation. The Sword of Fire, the Scythe of Quakes, the Nunchucks of Lightning and the Shurikens of Ice, with power beyond comprehension, that can make the maddest of mens try and steal them.

He was sixteen, when he found out about the motive of his lack of memory, turns out, he was nothing more than a Android —Nindroid, as Jay had put it— a Ninja Android, built to protect those who cannot protect themselves. And thanks to that, he found his true potential, a mystical reaction towards what was holding him back.

He was sixteen when he and the rest of his family found out that the small and mischievous child, Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon was meant to be the Green Ninja, a legendary Ninja with the destiny of destroying the dark lord, Lord Garmadon, and sadly, Lloyd's father.

He was sixteen, when he saw one of the most selfless acts ever, he saw, with fear and doubt, how the little blond kid used the Tomorrow Tea without looking back, to turn them into teenagers again, including... Himself.

He was sixteen, when he finally found out about his father, and what had happened to him, and how, now, was he alive. Sadly, that didn't last long, soon, with age, his father passed once more.

He was sixteen, when he saw her, her beautiful and shining green eyes, another nindroid, just like him! But... Not all things end well. He understood that no matter what happened to him, he was meant to protect, and his life was meaningless without achieving his goal, so he did it. He jumped with his friends, no, brothers help, and slammed himself against the Golden Armor of the Virtual OverLord, or the Golden Master, he felt the power, the intense energy flooding his circuits, making half of his face plate to fall, revealing his metallic features, he could feel the eyes of his family, asking, no, begging him to stop and turn around, to stop this madness. But he didn't, and with guilt in his heart, he sacrificed his own life for Ninjago, for them... For her.

He was seventeen when he rebuilt himself, and he was taken away, send to a mysterious and annoying man that stole his Elemental Powers, using him as bait towards the other Ninja and gain they powers. Sadly, he couldn't do anything about it.

He was eighteen when his little brother was Possessed by the vengeful spirit of Morro, the Master of Wind, one of many of Wu's mistakes, he could only see how the boy he wanted to protect, was almost... Gone, when they found him

He was nineteen when they began to fight against the Hands of Time and, he lost his beloved P. I. X. A. L., Alone, he made his way in the swamp, until he felt the spark of time energy on him. In the blink of an eye, he was gone, and when he awoke, his friends around him, all with mixed emotions. Had something happened?

He was twenty, when his family was together again, a year has passed without knowing from each other and... Wow,! Was that's Lloyd? He looked just so different! Just as the rest...

He was twenty, when he found out about Mr. E. Another nindroid, one that looked just like him

He was twenty, when he found out that Nya and Jay never told him about the last bit of his family, now GONE...

Gone...

He was twenty, when he found out that Mr. E.— Echo Zane, had been destroyed. And also that, his sister, partner, and little brother where just fine.

He was twenty two, when he lost his memory again. Recalling only the name, Ice, once and again. His alias, his name.

He was twenty two, when he finally remembered, and stopped Vex just before to late.

He was almost twenty three when he went back to Ninjago, and saw his mentor, and... Her.

He is just twenty three, looking at the dark star sky, hearing how P. I. X. Volunteers to find him, since it was his creation day, or birthday.

"There you are, Zane" she said, once at his side on the top of the roof of the monastery, with a beautiful sunsetting clique image.

He didn't respond, getting a frown from the female droid

"We are only waiting for you, Zane" she insists, trying to bring his attention to her

He didn't even move

Getting concerned, the Samurai went to call the others, but it was then that she noticed. The Titanium Ninja was not even... There, per say, he was gone, lost in thought and silence, and she finally found him.

So young, and lost, scared, alone and... And so much Ice that hurt...

That hurt him for decades and he never thought about it, he only cause harm and pain, all the contrary of his code. Losing his own humanity was his greatest fear, but losing it to someone that use him, and his powers from destruction instead of Creation.

She, with a smile so small in her features, took a sit by his side, grabbing his hand and resting her head on his shoulder, she looked at him. He allowed himself to look at her, he smiled.

"Ready?" He asked in his tranquil voice

She looked once more to the sky, closing her bright green eyes and sending her last wish to her father and creator, Cyrus Borg, she opened them once more, and he nodded, he already did the same. She sighed, and finally, nodded.

With that in mind, both of they powering modules turn finally off, letting the pain go away as well as they bright colored eyes. And, with smiles in they metallic faces, they shut down completely.

Leaving only they bodies there, under the bright shine of the moon. And finally, free from the pain of they past.

We though that he was lying, that it was to good to be true! And you know why!?" He looked at P. I. X. A. L., Madness and frustration in his eyes "Because we didn't want to raise our hopes... We believed that Zane was... Was... Dead... But he wasn't! And know we feel horrible! I feel horrible! I know that he wouldn't forgive us! But I want to hear... To hear his part" He ordered, sobs escaping his mouth due to his lack of breath

P. I. X. A. L. Looked at him, shock in her features, and disappears, leaving a Nya, Cole and Jay even more confused

"Jay! You can't ask for that! Is not our place!" Cole screams at him, Jay look in the Earth master's eyes

"It is Cole, I know because we were there... W where there when he found out he was a Nindroid, and try to help, even when we knew how to! We where there when he sacrificed himself from Ninjago! And we left him!" Jay counterattacked, frustration in his eyes

"I know that! But you can't ask when we hurt him!" Cole explain

"... I missed him, Cole... He's our brother, and we didn't do anything about it... Because we thought that Chen was going to use or fragile minds to sabotage us! I thought that... That it was all a trap... Chen was going to use us... And you know that we refused when Lloyd said to bring another member to the team! —No offense, Nya— But we didn't when Sensei Wu told us that Nya was an Elemental Master herself! We never replace him! He still has his place in the team! In this family! And I can't believe we actually... That we... Ahg!" Jay left, tears falling as Cascades from his eyes, trembling and sobbing quite loudly. Cole stood there, looking at his best friend going away. Tears falling now from his eyes as well, he let himself fall to his knees

"How could be being so stupid...?" He mumbled, his voice so broken and tiny, getting Nya go finally let some tears...

And it hit her... They saw their best friend die... And neither of them where strong enough, they...

They were still kids, fighting for their City. What was happening when people see them? Or when they make a mistake? The citizens only saw them as perfect heros, not the kids they used to we. "This is all Wu's fault!" She screamed, pausing when the same words repeat her, but in a tiny boy's voice.

'It's all Wu's fault!... It's all Wu's fault!... It's all Wu's fault!... It's all Wu's fault!...' she looked up between tears, seeing the screen of the Samurai X computer showing her something. It was a little brunette kid, his eyes shining red, he was in little training clothes, his face resembling-

"Lloyd...?" The little blond kid was a straight image from "G-Garmadon...?" Nya's broke her trance.

Garmadon had say the same things... Before... To Wu! To his little brother! But why- She stopped herself, remembering what Wu tell her

'It was my fault, by the Great Devour to bit my brother, trying to retrieve my father's katana'

Nya looked at Cole, who continued to tremble as a little ball in the floor. She could hear Jay's frantic screams and sobs and Lighting, hitting outside.

And her own rain, the splashes outside the cave, rain made from her own tears

"What have we done...?"

Angst Idea!!! What if when the ninja came for the tournament of elements and they couldn’t find Zane, but after they start to leave the island Zane watched them abandon him!

It was the start of a new day in the life of the Ninja, Zane was only waking up in order to prepare breakfast for the rest of the team, but, when he finally took a step into the kitchen, his friends where already there, awake and drinking they morning coffee, except for Lloyd, who was drinking apple juice. Confused, he was about to ask, but Jay saw him first, and with a weird smile, greet him "Zane! Hey! How are you!?" He asked rather loudly

The nindroid, more than confused, respond either way "Good morning Jay, I am fine, thank you for asking" he then opted to address the 'elephant in the room' "I must ask, it's there a specific reason in why you all are awake at this hour?"

"Watcha mean? It's totally normal" Commented Cole

"Right, if it was, then why you are awake at 5:19am, on a Monday, and, in a day off if I must recall" Pointed out the male droid, with a quizzitive look

The dark brunette, Kai, have seen the distress and went to answer "Well, why are you awake this early, bro?" He asked, in counter attack

"Because I make the breakfast, and it is not a problem for me to wake up?"

"... Touche" was the only answer he got "Oh! By the way, P. I. X. Told us to tell you that they need you at Borg's!" Proclaimed Nya, clapping her hands. Zane, still confuse, only nodded, and went to his room once again. It was surprising that his friends where already awake, but more so, the fact that on late-november, it was over 18° (0°c), which was ratter frustrating for a lot of people, but for Zane, it was like any other day since-

Since the OverLord took over

It was a faint memory, mostly, and the weather must be due to the residue of mild Golden Power, and the last... Stand up against it.

He didn't mind, actually, it was... Nice. He always liked the snow, and most of it was after a awfully warm day, it felt nice for him. And, not only because he was in his Element.

After putting warmer clothes on. He walked over the entrance of the monastery "Okay, I will arrive for meal time!" He informed his colleagues, with a faint response of "Okay! sure! Alright!" With that in mind, he took off to Borg Tower, in the middle of New Ninjago City.

The walk was nice, and peaceful, he didn't like to take his Elemental Dragon all the way, he didn't want any unwanted attention. Much to his regards, he didn't want to cause some type of problem towards Cyrus Borg, P. I. X. A. L.'s father and creator.

After waking in the snow, he arrived to his destination, letting a small sigh scape his silverly lips, he entered the tower.

Greeting the receptionist, this informed that Borg would be seeing him soon, and with that, he took the elevator to the inventors office, that now was mostly a penthouse, and, finally on the correct floor. He waited until the elevator stopped. Taking a step into the hallway, he walked up to the door, knocking, he waited.

A female droid greet him "Zane!" And a warm hug. Zane received the affection, getting inside, still with the female in his arms.

"Hello to you too, P. I. X. A. L." She smiled. Letting the hug end, walking inside the house. Zane was already familiarize with the hallways, since it was not his first time there.

They finally reached the office, where a man in a wheelchair smiled at both of them after seeing them enter "Zane! It's great to see you still in one piece!" He explained, wheeling himself over the pair of Nindroids, raising a eyebrow after seeing why both of them where wearing "Was it planned?" He inquired

At this, both Nindroids react towards what each other was wearing. Zane with an opaque dark blue coat with a light blue turtleneck sweater underneath, dark brown pants, with slight fuzzy white boots, and white scarf, gloves, and beanie. And P. I. X., With a light purple turtleneck sweater, white pants and white fuzzy boots. The droids smiled and laugh a little. They didn't notice at all!

Seeing the reaction, Borg smiled. It make him happy seeing his daughter so happy, especially with someone that could and would stay by her side. "Well, letting that aside, Zane, I actually asked you to come here because be need to make another checking on your systems, if that it's okay with you" he informed slowly. He knew about the whole 'Ice Emperor' thing, and didn't want to cause his guess any fright.

With a indecisive looked from blue to green LED eyes, he nodded. "Very well, the routine it's the same as always!" He added. Zane, seeing more relaxed, took the sit on the middle of the room, that connected to the huge HD computers. And, with a few clicks of the buttons. His mind left his body.

After what felt like forever, he regain consciousness, seeing the loving face of his lover, he sigh. He was fine.

"Well, everything seems okay, the Security Operating Systems are online and running, the Nervous System it's also up and running. But... Zane, may I see your memories?" The invertor went to look at the original droid. And, with a little time of silence, he received a affirmative nod.

Sliding the chair for him to see his own memories, he, Cyrus and P. I. X. Went to see the 'movie'. After a while, the invertor paused, replaying a event that was not...

There?

"Huh... That's... Odd" Commented the blue eye nindroid, confused. It was actually also the memory of his... Sacrifice against the OverLord. It was... Missing?

"Well, according to your data base all memories are intact. No gaps, no missing data. It's like..."

"It is like it was not even... There. Likely erase, or compressed" Informed the female. At which Zane finally caught on

"Oh, I just remembered, it was during our battle with the Hands of Time and before the Sons Of Garmadon attack, my self unconscious was so stressed out about those events that Decoded it up to a safe, until my friends and I used our knowledge to open it. It was some remains of the Virtual OverLord, and the memory. But after taking it down, it might have cause me to erased it without my consent" He informed the father and daughter. At which Borg asked "Do you wish to have it back?" The mood was now grim.

"Yes" he responded, why was everyone so... Off?

"Very... Well" and with a flick, his memories where once again, complete.

"Thank you, Mr. Borg" he said, disconnecting from the intercom. And stepping on the side of the man, who only smiled wich melancholy. But either way, responded "No problem. Oh my! It's almost evening!" Zane looked, and he dark haired man was correct. It was already 7:26pm.

"Oh no! I have promised the rest that I was going to be there by meal time!" He exclaimed, more afraid of losing a meal time than anything

"Don't bother! Please, go back, they must be waiting!" Apologise the man

"Let us go Zane!" The only female pronounced, getting the droid hand and dragging him up to the elevator. With a smile, they went away. Leaving a grim mood Cyrus alone.

P. I. X. A. L. Was shivering, that action cause Zane to notice. Taking his coat off, he handed it to his girlfriend.

"But you now must be cold also" She said, taking the coat gladly

"Do not worry, my model it's older than yours, I am very capable of surviving cold weather" He affirmed. But the female, not satisfied, hugged his right arm. At the action, the tallest one smiled. And together, they went back to the monastery at snail pace

Finally arriving the monastery, in between laughs and snow on they platinum hairs, the went inside, taking the snow full clothing off. With the hands interlaced, they step forward and to the living room. Getting froze upon seeing the rest of the Ninja, all in a 'cuddle pile' on they pijamas, crying they eyes out, while eating scream and pre-cooked cake

"My friends, what has happened?" Zane's question makes all the colorful Ninja looked at him, and, with the speed of Spinjitzu, he was buried under hugs and tears

"Zane! Don't you ever do that to us, did you hear!? We were so worried! Just, don't do that!" All his family was talking at once, and, the nindroid, took them apart, letting himself breath

"I do not understand, I had tell you that I was going to see Mr. Borg, as Nya has told me by P. I. X. A. L. Message" he explained. But the Ninja only looked at him. Trying to look 'professional' Nya cleaned her face the best she could with her sleeve, causing Zane to flinch slightly.

"D-Dont you remember?" She asked.

"Remember? What? Did I miss something important?" He questioned

"Zane... What day it's today?" Jay asked out of nowhere, his eyes filling up with tears

"November 26, why?"

"See... See on your memories, by date" Added Cole, looking aside. Checking his data, he recalled the memory. It was his sacrifice against the OverLord.

"I do not comprehend" He blurt out, getting shock faces as response

"Zane, but... But it was-" Lloyd was cut off by the master of Ice

"Correct, it was my sacrifice in order to provide safety. After all, I am build to protect others-" but he was interrupted by the fire Elemental

"Zane... On this day, 3 years ago... You died" P. I. X. A. L. Voice remarked behind him

"It was not my death. I was only making the correct option-" he was interrupted once again by his love interest

"Zane! You died! How could you say that was the correct option-and course of action?" She almost screamed

"I am a nindroid. Something replaceable. While I can pass my Element towards another individual, inorganic or not, I am disposable" He finish, getting gasps from his family

"How could you said that Zane!? How-!? You are the most alive person that I could ever know! How could you said that you are replaceable!? How could you say you are-!?" It was Zane turn to interrupt. And he was mad.

"Because I Am! I am a machine! I am the cause of most of Ninjago Problems when the OverLord appear! Damn it! I am the one responsable of causing you pain and suffering, just as I did to the Formlings! And the people of the NeverRealm! Over decades! Heck! Over almost 30 years! I do not want to be the cause of losing you too!" His systems where slightly over heated, like a person breathing heavily after a rant. All the rest of the Ninja and the Samurai where on complete silence.

They didn't know if it was because of the language, of the reaction, of the ice forming besides Zane's boots. They just stood silently.

With a shaky breath. He looked around, once more calm. And aimed for his friends expressions.

Did he...? Had he...?

"Zane..." P. I. X. A. L.'s low and soft voice got his attention, and then, in the flash, she was hugging him, crying. He only soft out his expression, and hug her back.

They thought that was it. Until soft and shaky sobs and cries direct they attention back to the Titanium/White Ninja.

And for the first time, he was crying. Confused, scared.

Feeling... Alone

"Oh... Zane... We..." Now was they turn to feel awful. His 'mother' friend, had gone throughout so much more than them and...

And the only thing they did was make him feel worst. He didn't like to be treated differently, but... But the fact of the OverLord and Vex, took on him more. They make him see that he was nothing, more that mindless machinery, only to follow orders. But, he was create to protect and defend. Which, mixing up, create the feeling of self-sacrifice. He didn't want them to die, so he would put himself in danger before them.

Because he was not-

The Ninja went running towards the droids, and hug the taller one tightly, crying with him. He was broken, without repair, but not a physical repair... A emotional repair that was and wouldn't be gain. He was broken to pieces, he was alone, and scared and... And...

Maybe, just maybe... They all could be broken together.
