STUDIO CITY, CA – January 23, 2023 – Del (Andie MacDowell, “Maid,” “Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove”), Kat (Chyler Leigh, “Supergirl,” “Greys Anatomy”) and Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow, “The Apprentice”) experience new beginnings and reflect on bittersweet memories in the “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” episode of “The Way Home” premiering Sunday, January29 (9 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel. Evan Williams (Blonde, “Versailles”), Alex Hook (“I am Frankie”), Al Mukadam (“Pretty Hard Cases,” “The Detail”), Jefferson Brown (Masters of Romance, “Slasher”) and David Webster (Luckiest Girl Alive, “In the Dark”) also star.

Kat starts a new job at the local paper and finds herself covering a much different kind of story than she did in Minneapolis. The reporter in her becomes suspicious of Alice’s newfound contentment in Port Haven which, unbeknownst to her, is fueled by the time Alice is spending in the past with the Landrys during a happier time. Meanwhile, when Del gets an offer to buy the boat Colton (Brown) bought for them, the prospect of selling it stirs up mixed emotions.

Sypnosis: After three years organizing fashion collections at a top magazine, Lauren "Graham" is passed up for a promotion and decides it is finally time to throw in the towel on Seattle and move home. 65_RedRoses, directed by Phillip Lyall and Nimisha Mukerji, tells the story of Eva Markvoort who was born with Cystic Fibrosis - a disease that affects the lungs, causing them to fill with mucous and making it harder for those inflicted to breathe. Due to the condition itself, patients are isolated from others. Unable to turn to people in the flesh, Eva turned to the online community for support. She found it in two other women in various stages of the disease in 65_RedRoses, setting the tone for a documentary that is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. 

Nimisha Mukerji will be paired on stage with acclaimed Vancouver director Nettie Wild at Gen Why’s Bring Your Boomers Party on March 12th at VIVO Media Arts Centre. The two will be engaging in intergeneration dialogue around the role of storytelling in the re-imagination of society.
