Bad Bread

Nikolaj stared at the vague imitation of a loaf of sourdough on his kitchen counter; his lips pressed into a thin line in a desperate attempt to keep himself from laughing at it.

"Niko, I'm gonna fucking die. Oh my God it's so ugly I'm genuinely ashamed of it. My hideous first born child," His guest, an enthusiastic but slightly hopeless bread baking tutee groaned pathetically, her upper half slumped onto the counter next to him with her face in her hands.

"It's... certainly an effort. So."

She made a distressed keen from behind her hands, a sound he imagined a slowly dying rodent might make, "Fuck this I'm sticking to desserts. The only bread I'll ever make is monkey. God."

That hardly counted as a type of bread in Nikolaj's opinion, but he digressed;

"Maybe not all is lost, Anna, the outside appearance is. Well. We can both see it in front of us but maybe-"

"Niko I swear to whatever higher being you believe in if you it's what's in the inside that counts me right now I'll throw a fuckin' tantrum."

"Frankly, I think you're already throwing one. A small one, but one nonetheless," He pulled a bread knife from his knife block (a recent birthday gift from the woman currently whining over his counter) and approached the almost bread adjacent lump to slice it.

Wow.

"It deflated."

Anna screeched something unintelligible and all but fell to the floor, crouching on his tiles. The crust had somehow completely separated from the actual bread, and was floating down pathetically onto the loaf like a sad, threadbare blanket. Nikolaj once again sucked his lips in to keep from wheezing out a laugh, his friend was having no such reservations however.

She'd gone from woeful humiliation to loud uninhibited squawks of laughter; stifled only by her hands that still hid her face, "Oh my god it's so bad!"

"Air bubbles happen," He was trying for encouraging, "It might be alright."

"Nikooooo-" She wheezed out through peels of laughter, "You know it's shit!"

"Not yet I don't." Despite his placating he was squinting suspiciously at the thing. Truth be told, he had zero inclinations or even a smidgen of faith that it would taste alright. He broke off a teeny piece from the slice he'd cut, steeling himself to try it.

His efforts to prepare himself were for naught, however, because Anna had sprung up whip-quick from her spot on his tiled floor and snatch the morsel from his fingers.

"No. No fucking way. I'll be damned if I let you try this. I'm humiliated as is and I'd sooner throw myself down this building's elevator shaft than let Nikolaj- premium baker savant perfectionist- Kato put this anywhere near his pretty mouth." She punctuated her (ridiculous) statement by tossing the bite of bread into her mouth and chewing quickly like there was a risk he'd take it back from her. He leaned back onto his counter, crossing his arms over his chest and watching the very impressive array of expressions cross her face.

"It's so bad. It is so goddamn bad," was the final review- delivered with a now deadpan face and rounded shoulders, "It's a good thing I brought my own ingredients instead of using yours like you offered. This is a total fucking waste. Of everything. Even air."

Nikolaj snorted and swiped a second small piece for himself, he wanted to know. He was desperately curious, ignoring Anna as she slowly shook her head no, tossing it into his mouth and cautiously chewing.

It really is true that curiosity killed the poor cat.

"Honestly, I'm impressed. It's texture in hand and on first bite is fine but somehow it turns to ash the second it comes into contact with saliva-" He wasn't able to suppress a huff of laughter this time "-it even tastes like ash. I imagine this is what'd it be like to scoop a handful of remains from the inside of a crematorium and try to eat it."

"Niko I am going to fucking kill myself right here in your kitchen."

She said it so dryly (as dry as the bread attempt he was currently spitting into his trash can) that he barked out a surprised laugh, nearly choking on what was left in his mouth. After a second or two she started laughing again, each exhale getting louder and louder.

"It was like trying the goddamn cinnamon challenge all over again!" She screeched and he started to laugh harder, remembering that stupid trend and how it'd gone for them when they tried it. He still had the video of it on his computer, two stupid high schoolers in atrocious 2010s fashion trying to swallow spoonfuls of spice and choking instantaneously- coughing reddish brown powder all over themselves and one another in her mother's kitchen. Her laugh increased in volume; interrupted by loud painful snorting as she tried to say something else. It came out more like the sound of a banshee choking and he had to lean on the counter to support himself as he choked on his own spit.

Her laugh had always taken him out, she'd start squawking and he'd bypass laughter and go straight to wheezing and tearing up. She flapped her hands, drawing his attention to the failed lump of bread on his counter- pointing and shrieking as it somehow deflated even further, the bottom flattening out like a punctured tire.

He guffawed (a very ugly sound, even to his own ears) at the pathetic thing and a sharp cackle bubbled out of Anna's chest at the sound. The high sharp, crack of her laughs merged with his diaphragm deep gasps and rumbly chuckles in the air of his kitchen and he briefly worried about his old as dirt neighbor rocking up to his door to bitch about the noise. He looked over at Anna as she leaned over onto the counter, grinning so big he thought her cheeks might tear as she tried to catch her breath.

Whatever. Fuck that old bag.

Nikolaj smiled back at her, not as big as her smile (no one could ever smile as big or bright as Anna did) but no less genuine or joyful, his own chest heaving as he clutched the counter corner for support.

"Niko, I'm telling you-" she straightened herself up "-I'm sticking to desserts." Her grin was still there, all teeth.

"Anna, I'm telling you," He pointed at the "bread" and smirked smugly at her, "I'm taking that thing to school tomorrow, and showing it to Ira."

"You will not show that to our meanest colleague!" She stomped her foot but her smile widened, no doubt imagining their friend's reaction to it. Ira would absolutely try it and the sharp witted woman would bring them all to their knees with the quips she'd make about it.

"Oh who knows. Maybe she'll like it! It might remind her of cigarette ash," He started and Anna let out a chuff of laughter, "You keep making that bread and bring it to her, and she'll be able to quit in no time. Wean her off with it."

"Ira'd beat you half to death with her office chair if she heard you say that!"

"I'll give her your attempt at bread, say it, then run out real quick to the infirmary so that way even if she does catch me I'll be able to get medical attention immediately."

"Wow, full proof plan. Incredible calculations." She turned to face the loaf completely, planting her hands on her hips and shaking her head, "Seriously though, the hell do we do with this? Put it out on the street, it's so bad I'm willing to chuck it to the birds. Leave my first born to the wilderness."

"Stop calling it that, also, what wilderness? This is a residential block, Anna. In a city. The wildest thing here is my neighbor."

"Oh yeah, for sure. That bitch bites I just know it. If that walking mummy gets too pissed about volume she'll snap and leave her dentures embedded in your arm. Septic bite type beat."

Nikolaj chuckled, "She'd pitch a fit if we chuck this outside, and truthfully, I don't even think the birds in this so-called wilderness will want this."

She rolled her eyes as he came to stand next to her, the both of them staring down at the halfway flat bread in amused silence. He nudged her with his hip to get her attention, "We'll try again next weekend."

She looked up at him and matched his smile, "Yeah. I'll bring my own shit again. Not using up your Grade A baking stuff to bring yet another ugly lump into this world."

FA8801 supervision review 3: Henry Symonds and George Funaki 21/03

I feel like we've made some progress in what direction I can take with experimentations pertaining my project. From last weeks meeting with Henry, I was tasked with choosing nine different artefacts that respond to chosen texts in my mind map.

I chose artefacts in my environment, since we're all products of our upbringing, and based this process of selection through sense - smell, sight, touch, hearing, and taste - I wanted these elements to incur memories of my youth to paint a better understanding of being fakaleiti within a Tamaki diaspora and speaking from, rather than to.

I found photographs of Tongan men wearing tupenu with traditional ta'o vala (woven matts typically made from pandanus leaves) while scrolling through online photographic series depicting the Pacific.

I felt curious towards this image of a Tongan family, particularly the traditional attire worn by the two older boys on the left. Their choice of clothing not only represents their Pacific background, but also the formality of that Pacific background - unconforming to Western or European frameworks. Naturally, Pacific dialogues would not make a lot of sense in European contexts, but I feel that that is the question I must cultivate and answer.

Henry has helped me navigate my interest with the diaspora that responds to the posed question, the cultural push and pull between two worldviews, and how I can encapsulate the hue in the middle. I have referred to Niko Besnier's paper capturing the spectrum of Tongan born leiti, and how they navigate the traditional binary, whilst pursuing their innate whims, whether socially accepted or not.

The problem with this season and Romi and why I dislike her and she’s getting hate while other bad characters haven’t in the past, is that when somone plays a villain we still love the actor because they’re meant to play a villain. But WTFOCK didn’t mean to make Kato a character that everyone should hate, so it makes me question Romi’s views and makes me dislike her. She actually thought this was a good story 😅 She didn’t see a problem with a beautiful white girl like herself treating a black boy horribly then just batting her eyes and using her family problems as an excuse to get out of it. For example I don’t hate Viktor’s actor or Nico’s from OG because they play this horrible character who supposedly took advantage of an undersage girl while she was passed out and because of that we are were meant to dislike him, it was set out from the start that he’s a bad character, a bad person and it doesn’t bother me if an actor plays that role. But with Kato it’s just the pretty white girl playing the victim and thinking she’s done nothing wrong and I don’t like it when I think about an actress in the 21st century degrading woman to that point. We’re better than that. We’re better than using our looks and our home situations to get out of things and treat others horribly. Women aren’t like that and I’m sure many “beautiful white girls” aren’t like that as well. That’s why this story is disgusting to me. And it bothers me when I see an actress take on that role when there are such better characters and stories to tell.

X3 an idea Nekorockstarninja told me on,.. X3 the premise is that Suzuki takes everyone out to a sushi place that she knows of with a small prize contest if ya eat 5 plates of sushi ya get a small prize... Suzuki once attempted to do it on her but couldn't it but this time she brought back up which happens to be the ragtag Cast members of mine that will be aiding Suzuki to get what she needs... XD hilarity will ensue

I tried to do it alone but couldn't do it... ^^ so yea Merrick: hehe -sniffs the air of the place- ^^ heh reminds me the time when I was a lil kid Espio's uncle Seraph brought my siblings and I with Espio to a Sushi place similar to this one

“Vanavond is het eindelijk zover in het dorp: er wordt een grote bruiloft gevierd! 

Iedereen is uitgenodigd en alles staat in rep en roer: het koor oefent nog één keer zijn gezangen, de schilder legt de laatste hand aan zijn cadeau, de wijn wordt geperst, de tafel gedekt, de klokken geluid en het café krijgt nog een laatste opblinkbeurt. Alles staat klaar voor het feest der feesten waarin deze inwoners de liefde, het leven en de bloeiende toekomst van het bruidspaar willen vieren.

Tot een oorlog binnen walst...”

In 2018 vieren en herdenken de inwoners van Sint-Katelijne Waver de honderdste verjaardag van het einde van de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Deze oorlog liet wereldwijd sporen na en ook deze gemeente bleef niet gespaard. Toen de frontlijn voorbijgeraasd was, waren de dorpskernen van Sint-Katelijne-Waver en Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver verwoest en geplunderd. Inwoners trokken op de vlucht en het dorp bestond uit uitgebrande en gesloopte woningen, kerken, scholen en gebouwen. Het vee liep los over de omgewoelde velden. Talloze soldatengraven tekenden het landschap. Er heerste ongerustheid en verdriet over soldaten en niet-teruggekeerde vluchtelingen.

“Troupe” is het resultaat van meer dan 500 inwoners van Sint-Katelijne-Waver die hun overgave, energie en tomeloze inzet hebben gebundeld voor een totaalspektakel. Honderd jaar na het einde van WO I, brengen ze een ode aan de herkansing van de mensheid na een catastrofe. Samen tonen ze wat er mogelijk is wanneer een gemeenschap gelooft in verzoening, jongeren, hoop, vrede, samenwerking en toekomst.

“Troupe” kende veel repetities, vergaderingen, omzwervingen en gedaantes voor het zijn uiteindelijke vorm vond. Samen zijn we vertrokken vanuit de talenten van honderden individuele deelnemers: van decorbouwers tot spelers, van tekstschrijvers tot muzikanten, van vendeliers tot ruiters. Gaandeweg ontstonden er ook kruisbestuivingen: dansers tonen hun kunnen op de muziek van de harmonie, de vendeliers leiden met hun vlaggen het spreekkoor in, muzikanten leerden zingen, acteurs hielpen decors te bouwen, enzovoort. Het maken van “Troupe” is een wilde rit geweest, een tornado, een wave – maar bovenal: een feestelijke smeltkroes.

Week 89: Een uitstapje naar een grot, fijne gesprekken, veel etensafspraken, voetbal, soepkeuken & whiteboard

Hoi iedereen!

Boem: weer een wekelijkse mail van je Griekse God! Niet veel praten, let’s go!

Vandaag (maandag) hebben Elder en zr. Finlayson de Elders in Athenes voor een dagje uit meegenomen naar een druipsteengrot. Bjorn schreef ons dat echt heel leuk was en dat het voelde als vakantie. De foto’s in dit bericht zijn allemaal van dit uitje.

Dinsdag hadden we een goede morgen met persoonlijke studie en toen meteen de deur uit om een les met Kostas te hebben. Hij heeft het moeilijk met de alcohol maar ik zal jullie niet te veel bezig houden met zijn problemen. Hij is een goede man die wil veranderen en we zien de liefde van God in Kostas zn leven. Daarna hielpen we onze Albenese vrienden in het park en we mochten met het grote gereedschap aan het werk, wat echt heel cool was! Daarna gingen we naar district meeting, was erg goed. Toen hadden we Facebook en deden we onze studies. Daarna gingen we met de APs naar Pavlos en zijn moeder Nancy die 2 leden zijn uit Griekenland. Was heel cool om met hun samen te zijn en goed home made Grieks eten te hebben! Daarna hadden we een hele goede opbouwende gedachte en gingen we terug naar huis.

Woensdag hadden we weer een les met Kostas in de ochtend. Nu ik aan het schrijven ben zie ik dat we veel lessen hadden met Kostas, maar hij had het nodig en er zijn altijd andere mensen die ons gesprek volgen en mee praten dus dat is goed, maar τελος παντων als je dus leest dat we een les hadden met Kostas weten jullie waarom. Daarna hielpen we de Albenezen weer en gingen we terug naar huis en hadden we lunch. Toen een les met Michael Schafer, ging heel goed. Hij had veel moeilijkheden de afgelopen weken maar we konden hem een beetje troost bieden. Daarna Facebook gedaan en toen vroegen de APs of we met hun naar de Pruess familie mee wilden omdat ze hadden gevraagd of we konden komen dus hadden we weer een etensafspraak! Zegeningen!

Donderdag hadden we Kostas weer in de ochtend en toen hielpen we Nikos en Spiros, onze vrienden van Albanië, daarna namen we snel een douche want we hadden een afspraak met Spiros en Tasos die in het vertalingsteam zitten voor de Kerk hier in Griekenland. We gingen naar een cool restaurant en we praten met hen over een paar dingen en hoe we hen konden helpen en zij ons. Daarna hadden we onze studies in de middag en gingen we naar Syndagma om Mike te ontmoeten. Hij is een vriend van vorige week en hij wil zijn Engels oefenen en wij ons Grieks dus we helpen elkaar en we hadden een hele goede tijd met hem, was heel nuttig!

Vrijdag hadden we onze Soepkeuken in de ochtend en er was een andere groep van Vlaamse meisjes die kwamen om te helpen. De Soepkeuken is een initiatief van de katholieke kerk en daarom zijn er regels voor kleding. Een paar meisjes waren niet gepast gekleed en werden weg gestuurd. Jammer, maar de andere waren aardig en we waren met net genoeg mensen om iedereen te helpen. Daardoor iets later klaar en toen onze studies gedaan en een whiteboard met Kato Patissia, was heel goed!

Zaterdag hadden we weer een les met Kostas in de ochtend en daarna gingen we met de Zusters en Elder Finlayson naar een vrouw die om een zegen had gevraagd. Maar toen we bij het huis aan kwamen was ze jammer genoeg niet thuis. Toen naar Mars Hill gegaan met Elders Zizzi en Gaskill en daar schoon gemaakt en een Gyros gegeten. In de middag onze studies gedaan en toen een les met Stephen die we een tijdje niet hadden gezien en daarna gingen we naar Manolis voor een les. Toen in de avond met de APs en Elders Zizzi en Gaskill voetbal gespeeld met vrienden, was heel goed en we hadden veel gesprekken!

Zondag hadden we Kostas die met ons samen mee naar kerk kwam wat erg goed was. We gingen met hem naar de Engelstalige gemeente, dus dat was anders dan in het Grieks maar ging goed. Na kerk hadden we veel te doen, we gingen naar huis en snel gegeten. Toen wekelijkse planning gedaan wat nodig was. Daarna onze andere studies en toen gingen we naar Syndagma met de APs en we hadden een whiteboard met hen wat erg goed ging!

Dat was mijn week!

Redo, the World Without Regrets

The mysterious virtuadoll Regret. Those who hear her songs are one by one taken into another world. “Redo” is a virtual world created by Regret and manufactured by the mistakes of peoples’ past.

“If only I had done that at the time…”

Redo is a world that realizes the desire held by all to start over. A world where you can make the decisions you chose against in the past, Redo is a lukewarm world without regrets, where you can live out the “what ifs?” of life.

Another Diva and the Go-Home Club

χ is another virtuadoll who is attempting to destroy the fabricated world of Redo. She chooses the protagonist, who realizes that this world is not reality, as a partner and lends them her power. The Go-Home Club is formed by students who learn of reality’s existence after a certain event and aim to return to the real world. And thus begins the extremely difficult return home against the creator of the virtual world.

True Appearances of the Go-Home Club Members

However, the Go-Home Club members’ appearances in Redo are nothing more than a “what if?” that disregards reality and rewrites their past regrets. The true appearance they hide is a taboo that only the player can discover. Embark upon this journey at your own risk and make choices free from regret.

■ Virtuadoll

Regret (voiced by Arisa Kori)

A mysterious virtuadoll that suddenly appeared to the world. Her origin and details are unknown, but her mysteriousness proved effective as rose to fame and gained overwhelming popularity on video streaming websites with her mystical singing voice. With the power of that popularity, she created Redo, an ideal world without regrets, and has imprisoned those suffering in the real world in her virtual world.

χ (voiced by Mayu Mineda)

Another virtuadoll, who opposes Regret and is trying to destroy the fabricated world of Redo. Feeling she is unable to fight Regret with her power alone, she chooses the protagonst who awakened to reality as her partner and lends them her strength. It seems she cannot fully understand human values as she is a prototype virtuadoll that never officially launched in reality.

■ Go-Home Club Members

Protagonist (voiced by Tatsumaru Tachibana / You Taichi)

A second-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school. Leader of the second generation Go-Home Club that aims to escape from the ideal world of Redo. The protagonist was chosen as a partner by the virtuadoll χ, who plans to destroy Redo, and gives her half of their body.

Gin Noto (voiced by Aoi Ichikawa)

A second-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school and the protagonist’s classmate. A modern high school student who wears the latest fashions, and is driven by excitement and emotion. He is also manly and a good friend. With a personality that allows him to read the room and be considerate, he has a number of friends both guys and girls.

Shota Tsurumaki (voiced by Kento Itou)

A third-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school. A straight-laced and stubborn member of the discipline committee who values order above all else. He is just and upright, and has a strong sense of responsibility, but can also be unreliable and blindly follows others, such as by immediately proposing a majority vote to avoid making a final decision himself.

Ryuto Tsukishima (voiced by Kouki Uchiyama)

A third-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school. He has wisdom and knowledge beyond his years, so much so that the other students make call him a boy genius. Since he is even-keeled and does things at his own pace, he tends to come off as cold at first glance, but is really not a bad person. He often clashes with others for saying things without sugarcoating, but they are often statements said considering the interests of the group.

Kobato Kazamatsuri (voiced by Yuuto Uemura)

A third-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school. As his appearance suggests, he is a frivolous young man and school celebrity. He has an unshakable personality and will shamelessly say he does what he does for the sake of popularity, which earned him both consistent support from the guys and vigilance from the girls. He is proactive and inquisitive when it comes to his amusement, and refuses to do anything unpleasant. He is not very cooperative with the group.

Kiriko Miyasako (voiced by Yume Miyamoto)

A first-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school. Her short blonde hair is her trademark. At first glance, people tend to fear her for her flashy appearance, class absences, and dry personality that does not pander to others, but she is the one with the most common sense in the Go-Home Club. She is highly capable and good for her improvisation, quick wit, and extraordinary courage, but dislikes being relied on and does not put herself out there as much as possible.

Sasara Amiki (voiced by Sumire Morohoshi)

A third-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school. A beauty with a gentle personality who always has a grin on her face. She is treated as an airhead whose speech and conduct are often a beat behind those of everyone else. It is difficult to understand what she is thinking, but she has a strong love for the members of the Go-Home Club and shows exceptional dedication when it comes to putting herself at risk to protect her friends.

Niko Komamura (voiced by Hiyori Kono)

A first-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school. A bright and simple-minded girl. The optimistic type with a glow in her eyes who will interact with anyone and everyone with the goal of having more and more friends. Despite her proactiveness, she is not very skillful or good at contemplating or theorizing difficult things, and often goes in circles.

Marie Amabuki (voiced by Mai Fuchigami)

A second-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school and the protagonist’s classmate. A kind-hearted and helpful beauty with good grades and a no-nonsense demeanor. She is a model honor student, relied upon by the other students to the point that she was selected to become the Tatefushi Academy Student Council President in her second year. She cares for the protagonist however possible.

■ Obbligato Musicians

Machina (voiced by Shun’ichi Toki)

Composer: ???

An Obbligato Musician. An android who wished for a machine body from Regret. He is extremely loyal to Regret, and treats her orders as absolute. He never fails to patrol Redo to maintain public order.

Pandora (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa)

Composer: ???

An Obbligato Musician. A cool, calm, and collected woman who speaks very little. She is an artisinal musician who loves to spend her time surrounded by flowers, working silently to make music in the depths of her favorite garden. Her work room in the garden depths is an insular space sealed off from the outside world.

MU-kun (voiced by Taku Yashiro)

Composer: ???

An Obbligato Musician. A boy with an eccentric appearance and flashy hair. With his sense for music and fashion, and unconventional and exorbiant conduct that make up his “space communication” character setting, he steals the hearts of young as the most popular musician.

#QP (voiced by Inori Minase)

Composer: ???

An Obbligato Musician, second-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school, and the protagonist’s classmate. The fact that she is a Obbligato musician is a secret and she attends school everyday. She is a beauty that has a tendency to seek romance, and there is almost never a time that she does not have a man by her side. The reason she hides the fact that she is a musician is because she thinks the elaborate title is unattractive.

Doctor (voiced by Kazuki Kato)

Composer: ???

An Obbligato Musician. He works as a doctor at the hospital on the outskirts of Okitama City, and is always pushing Kranke around in his wheelchair. He has a cool and blunt personality, but is devoted entirely to his contributions to Redo and actively works on musical activities. Other than Kranke, he prefers not to interact with the other musicians.

Kranke (voiced by Yuuki Takada)

An Obbligato Musician, and a third-year student at Tatefushi Academy senior high school. He is unable to walk due to a leg injury, and is pushed around in a wheelchair by Doctor. His thoughts are hard to grasp since he tends to act like his mind is not present, and he always has a faint smile on his face. Many are drawn to his music and the world it weaves, which is dark beyond his fragile impression.

Kudan (voiced by Mariya Ise)

Composer: ???

An Obbligato Musician. A promotion and agitation specialist. She lies like she breathes and toys with the hearts of others. She is in charge of persuasive propaganda and public relations on behalf of Regret, who does not talk much. She often quotes wise figures from history, manga, and anime.

Bluffman (voiced by Takehito Koyasu)

Composer: ???

The leader of the Obbligato Musicians. A man of many mysteries who hides his face behind a mask. He is always at Regret’s side and plays a managerial role, acting as the ringleader who assembles the musicians in her place. He is said to be such a senior composer that even the new generation Obbligato Musicians acknowledge his superiority. His principle of conduct is to make Regret an absolute being, and he always maintains that Regret is superior to the virtuadolls of the past.

Character Scenario

The Go-Home Club members’ appearance in “Redo” is no more than an alternate version of themselves written over their past regrets. The reality each Go-Home Home Club member faces is full of trauma and pain. However, it is up to the player to discover why these individuals still wish to go back to them. Embark upon this journey at your own risk and make choices free from regret.

Battle System: Imaginary Chain

A battle system in which you predict the future and chain combos. The basic in-game battle system is turn-based, but once the player selects an action, the outcome of that action is revealed. Collaborate with your friends to strategize and overcome disadvantageous situations.

X3 an idea Nekorockstarninja told me on,.. X3 the premise is that Suzuki takes everyone out to a sushi place that she knows of with a small prize contest if ya eat 5 plates of sushi ya get a small prize... Suzuki once attempted to do it on her but couldn't it but this time she brought back up which happens to be the ragtag Cast members of mine that will be aiding Suzuki to get what she needs... XD hilarity will ensue

Suzuki: -opens the doors to the Sushi place as she heads inside with the others- ^^ this is the Sushi place I spoke of... ^^; where I ate like 40 plates of Sushi and got some small prizes out of it... I tried to do it alone but couldn't do it... ^^ so yea Merrick: hehe -sniffs the air of the place- ^^ heh reminds me the time when I was a lil kid Espio's uncle Seraph brought my siblings and I with Espio to a Sushi place similar to this one

Espio: heh... brings back memories doesn't it?? Merrick: it really does

Espio: to this very day I still miss my uncle but he did raise ya well

Suzuki: wait wha

Jared: when Merrick's village got attacked Uncle Yamato told them to find a person named Seraph who happens to be Espio's uncle... Both Merrick and Espio grew up as kids so they're pretty close

Suzuki: oh wow I had no idea

Espio: now ya know Suzuki

Merrick: soon after Espio's uncle passed we split ways on our own.. we didn't get back together until the meterex war happened and worked together with tails and the others on the war effort I was just glad to See Espio again but hanging with Vector and Charmy,, ^^; dunno how he ended up with them but they're an okay sort when I met them I was quite unsure at the time but sometime after the war I accepted them as friends... any friend of Espio is my friend those were my words when I accepted them... ^^; well as for Espio paying rent I usually see him at the door delivering pizza...

Espio: uhm.... ya back when... uhhh Tails broke his arm and leg at the time when Miss Marine was around at the time... I wonder whatever happened to that girl?? Shadow: heh... who knows Marine The Raccoon: O.o there was a girl after my name

Tails: mmhmm when I had that extreme gear mishap I got badly injured both of em got me home and had me patched up

Espio: she was the one who greeted me at the door at the time when I delivered the pizza... told her why that I had to pay rent because Vector kept going broke

Merrick: this was way before I got my cybernetic enhancements at the time btw

Waitress: -sees Suzuki is here again and sees the big crowd thats with her- O.o oh wow I never knew I am seeing this the ragtag band of the Katos and Prowers and also others also... uhh follow me to the big room for a huge crowd and we'll be with ya shortly

X3 okay thanks to to neko in call from tonight I have now got the idea of how Jared and Suzuki met and such... not giving any spoilers just that this is gonna be in the past there.... well in between the fic where Whisper's mom reunited at the time so yea

Jared's POV: let me tell ya a story.... this is something that happened with me which took place after Whisper's biological mother resurfaced and after marrying her and such..... you probably wondering how I met Suzuki... this took place at a local landromat... .w. damn washing machine got busted no thanks to one of the idiots living at the residence... thought It was a good idea to use a freaking plasma grenade and such.... so ya... heres my story... how I Met Suzuki Yamato and her family....

-6 PM, Laundromat-

Jared: -waiting for the washing machine to be finished as he was reading a magazine and ears starts to twitch to hear nearby fighting- eh??? -hears the noise stopped briefly- huhn...probably unwise for me to go to a laundromat at 6 PM... -hears the noise get louder as hey gets up as he has his Desert eagle at the ready and sees his truck is not in its parking space- wheres my truck

Truck: -goes through the wall missing Jared with someone flying into him- Jared: OH SH-

???: -slams into jared-

Jared: -hits his head hard on the remains of his truck and dazed watching Suzuki get up as his vision starts to blur as the big thug go down-

???: -muffle talks of panicking and etc seeing she hit into somewhere earlier and such-

Jared: -blacks out as he feels ??? pick him up-

???: ahhh geeze oh man oohhhh... man I don't have a- wait... alright I am hoping he doesn't freak out like april did -uses device and goes through portal with Jared in tow-

-5 hours later-

Jared: -starts to awaken as his he has a bandage on his head and vision clears up slightly and sees he is in unfamilar area and then scans and then sees a turtle with an orange mask close to his face soon as his vision clears- O_O Mikey: ^^ Hi

Jared: -screams in panic as he is in full panic mode letting off some electricity- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Lightning Powers: -fries several of donnie's devices and such- Mikey: -screams like a girl- AHHHHHHH!!!!! Jared: -freaking out and panicking after letting off some electricity and slinking back into the couch panicking and pinching himself thinking this is all a dream-

Suzuki: -runs in with Donnie, Leo, Raph and Gen'ichi to see that Mikey pulled an April moment and facepalms- MIKEY!!! Raph: -facepalms- Darn it Mikey

Donnie: -saw that some of his devices got fried- O_o whoa what was that

Leo: -sighs as he goes to calm Jared down-

Jared: -shaking breathing erratically and etc-

Suzuki: .w. geeze... for the first time I was able to encounter someone who is a mobian like me... aside of raph causing an eye injury, me getting stabbed and etc

Jared: -still in full panic as he did not register what Suzuki was saying and etc as he is having trouble processing all this and then his hearing is going back in control of hearing Leo calming him down-

Leo: hey... ya still with us there big guy....

Jared: ugggh -faints-

-5 minutes later-

Jared: -sighs as he has green tea as he sips on it slowly-

Suzuki: -sits next to Jared- sorry about that... heh this isn't the first time Mikey got into someone's face... my names Suzuki btw... whats your name Jared: Jared... Jared Amadeus Prower....
