Wastleland Crafting Suits Cost Breakdown!

In an earlier post, I recommended to Players that they should have a Wastleland Style Suit in their arsenal. Because the accessories in those suits are versatile for a number of different style choices. Especially if you enjoy doing fantasy character styles, and enjoy a lot of the suits within the "Evening" and "Goddess" tag.

hi!! do you have any infinity nikki tips to share? your outfits look really beautiful- i'm not caught up with the story yet, and i wanted to know if some of those shoes were from resonance, recharge or storyline/world? im struggling with the impulse to spend money (i'd feel fine doing like a single purchase or something, but my road with nikki has been paved with quite a bit of money already, so i'm worried about the slippery slope)

some of my favorite outfits in the game are legit just free stuff you find/earn by playing! a lot of the stuff i’ve shown off here are in-game rewards entirely for free either by crafting or doing styling challenges.

so far here are my big tips i’ve learned just w my own experience (and mistakes 😬):

- there are SO many clothes in the overworld, way more than you might expect. check every chest and shop you find WHEN you find it. it’s never not worth it even if it’s slightly out of the way. same with dews of inspiration! they will only get harder to locate as you clear more of the map so make sure you never pass up the opportunity to grab one. EVERYTHING in this game ties back to clothes one way or another, so it’s never not worth it to be interacting w all of the systems in one way or another.

- do not spend a ton of bling until you are further in the main story quest. it’ll be tempting to roll stuff like the wish o matic but if u blow all of your bling on it or anything else early on you WILL regret it later. bling is used for every other upgrade system in the game.

- make sure u are not capping out on vital energy too often, its super quick to run a realm of the dark fight or trade it in for collection insight if you’re close to cap and about to log off. its constantly replenishing and the currencies/materials you can get from it are so valuable down the line.

- i would HIGHLY ADVISE that you save the diamonds you earn exclusively to use for pulls on limited time gacha banners. the ones with the pink resonance crystals. do not use them to refill your energy, do not use them for the permanent banner pulls. you are going to need to do a good chunk of pulls to get everything u need from limited banners before they go and this will make sure you are minimizing the temptation to spend real world money when u dont need to.

- don’t skip out on leveling eureka! the system can be a tad confusing and somewhat de-emphasized at first but it’s low risk and so worth it. ANY well leveled eureka at all is better than nothing for styling contests. you can literally double your score with a good set of eureka, it can be the difference between an average or perfect score.

- speaking of styling challenges, try to unlock the mirror styling challenges as soon as u can! you will know them when u see them, i forget exactly how you unlock it but there is a weekly reset version of the challenge that gives great rewards.

Shining Nikki to TS3 - Devil's Whisper Shoes

My first successfull SN shoe conversion yayy!! These were on my WIP folder since last year april, and since now I have a bit more xp with shoes I decided to revisit it for Simblreen (but it also gave me a lot of headaches, oh well 🙄)

Pick and choose the ones you'll want! This time I wasn't able to link the textures because TSRW threw a fit when I tried to import the package with renumbered meshes, and I just accepted my defeat 😔

As usual, it has some weird shadows in CAS but looks fine in game

You can answer this whenever, or never, if you don't want to! But can I ask for advice on how you come up with outfits? I saw the one with Nyan and Kariya's protest outfits not too mention the ones you come up with on your own.

They're all just so pleasing to the eye, and I need to know your secret!!! or tips or anything!!! 🙏🙏🙏

I guess all I can say is you gotta see a lot, save it to your memory, and know how to do some mix-match.

If you take a look at the Galery section in my commission info web, you'll see nothing I've done to the PCs comes even a bit close to what I actually design for commission or work. The style, I mean. So if you want to draw clothes or characters with simple but still pleasing designs, I think it's safe to say just do whatever you like. My PCs wear only black and white because I like those colors. Lyah wears glasses because I like men with glasses, he has his sleeves rolled up because I like men when they roll their shirt sleeves up. Lya's dress top is skimpy because I like to draw soft boobs spilling out of the hem of clothes. Kariya wears virgin killer because I like bare back and side boobs, etc... Do what you like most. Then you'll know how to make them pretty.

Or... if you want to be more complicated, let's say, hoyoverse or onmyouji or Square Enix level, even Love Nikki level of complicated, then you must really add as many things as possible to your image library. I don't know how to actually say this, it's hard to put into words, but just keep finding references and keep drawing.

Motifs and tropes are something to learn too. For how insect wings and flowers will make you think of fairy or natural, while clocks or gears remind you of steampunk.

How to make a female character look like a mommy? What kind of mommy are we talking about? The "ara ara" type? By making their figure look more round and plum, making their hair loose or more silky with a long dress and apron, and making them always have their palm to cup the side of their face, and tilt their head a little... Things like that. Sometimes stereotype is a good way to start your design game.

Or how to tell if a character is a young brat? Spiky hair, missing teeth with bandages here and there, maybe a tattoo or some piercings with sloppy clothes? Butttttt when you look closer they always have, maybe, some cute stickers on their belongings? Maybe because they have a lil sibling and they have a soft side for that sibling? Yeah, sneak in some easter egg here and there. It's fun when people notice an Easter egg and hopefully, that could lead to questions or discussion between your fans!

Part of the reason I've hurt my wrists was from typing. I've made a few lifestyle changes that have helped, but I wish I knew how people can type so much/for so long without hurting themselves. I've fallen off using social media much because my life has improved a lot, and though I only really am able to make a consistent wage off commissions, I haven't been motivated to work on things like that. I still feel I have to finish working on Meanderer before I make decisions. I'd love to go back to drawing fanart of things I love like I would when I was posting more consistently. I have played so many games, read and watched many new things. I wish I had some way to speak about them all. There are so many good things out there, and we wait until we have a good excuse to play them, but I figured out that there is no point in waiting for that excuse. There is no reason not to experience something new and insightful. My only regret is not being able to log my experiences in a way that satisfies me. Thus I think of drawing them all. Maybe one day I'll have the time to dedicate myself to draw all these characters I met and love with the same quality as I did OFF, LISA or Yume Nikki. I fear how much time the internet as we know it has on the clock, and if I'll be able to have time to finish my game and also enjoy posting like I used to, at least for a while longer. I suppose it doesn't really matter, as just living life feels pretty wonderful right now. Anyway, if anyone has any typing wrist-pain related tips, I'd like to hear them... Or at lest a place to buy a split keyboard that doesn't cost 300 dollars.
