synopsis; hanni was never big on physical affection... until she wasnt.
trope; hanni x 6th member!reader, fluff!
wc; 1.2 k
cw; n/a
a/n; i still dont know how to write but i heart hanni so its fine its OKAY its COOL !! just been listening to yearning music and stuff so BAM. aLSO!! i was also thinking of making "asleep among endives" the song attached to this... but idk i love the fluttery feeling of laufey.
It was a known fact by many that Hanni Pham was not one for physical affection— especially in public. Danielle trying to kiss her during a livestream? Dani-ed. Hyein trying to ask for affection? Rejected. Softly. Hell, even your attempts were futile most times.
Trying to hold her hand in public? Swatted away. Wrapping your arms around her waist while waiting in a line? She's whining out like you’ve just stabbed her. God forbid you try to kiss her hand or cheek (you’ve tried. She screamed.)
You were the opposite of Hanni Pham. Physical affection was one of your top if not the top love language of yours. Every living and breathing moment you had to be in contact with one of the members. Squeezing Hyein’s shoulder reassuringly during an interview, absentmindedly playing with Haerins fingers in the car, tapping and poking Minji’s back just to be a nuisance. It was just a natural everyday habit for you. More often than not, Danielle is the one to frequently reciprocate— she was just as affectionate as you were, after all. It wasn't uncommon to find the two of you within each other's arms, practically melded into one another.
You’ve learned over time that not many people are fans of being touchy. Unfortunate, but that's what Danielle was for. You had come to terms long ago that Hanni would never be interested in indulging in your neediness— not genuinely, at least.
… Or so you thought.
This week has been particularly rough. Back to back to back plans, on top of packed schedules for weeks on end. NewJeans is practically dominating the world, and though the attention and growth to your career was great… you were only human. You were practically still a kid. The world doesn't completely change once you hit twenty.
After what felt like forever, Japan promotions have finally ceased, and you alongside the girls finally have a chance to breathe. You collapse into your dorm bed, welcoming the plush mattress and blankets as you sigh. You genuinely cannot remember the last time you’ve been able to fully relax without an upcoming schedule looming over your head, let alone relax in your own bed.
allowing yourself to be fully enveloped by the blankets and plushies, your eyes close. The muffled sound of Hanni in the nearby shower lulls you almost hypnotically into a drowsy state, leaving you drifting in and out of consciousness for the next few minutes.
you just about nearly knock out on the spot before you suddenly feel a mass slip into the bed with you. It was a fairly familiar feeling. Though, normally you were the one crawling into the other dorm beds, this was still a welcome experience. Too exhausted to open your eyes, you softly murmur.
“Dani… what’re you doing here…” you say, before subconsciously wrapping your arm around the mystery figure.
Huh. Feels different.
“I.. It's not Dani.”
Your eyes immediately shoot open as the sound of Hanni’s soft voice rings out. Surprised, you look down at the girl in your arms, who’s already settled comfortably in your arms, face buried into your chest. She seems to be avoiding your gaze. Her hair was still slightly damp from her shower, with the iconic bobbed wig set off to the side for the night. Her skin was cool to the touch, a welcome contrast to your warm contact.
A soft, almost nervous chuckle leaves your lips as you’re still caught incredibly off guard. “Han?? Whats.. what's up with this?” You try to pick your words carefully, not wanting to scare her off during such a rare event— but to be frank, you were never good with your words and on top of that, you were half asleep.
“M’just tired…”
You must either be dreaming, or this isn't Hanni. Maybe it's Danielle disguised as Hanni? Has Danielle finally managed to crawl into Hanni’s skin before you could? Damn.
The feeling of Hanni’s face burying deeper into your chest snaps you back to reality, and you hold your breath. Body tensing almost comically at this point. What do you do now? She's never willingly brought herself this close to you before. What if she’s just toying with you?
Very hesitantly, you slowly use the arm that's draped over her form to rub soothing circles onto her back. Much to your relief, the vietnamese girl seems to take well to the touch, letting out a soft sigh against your chest as she practically melts into your touch.
“I-Is this okay…?” You quietly whisper, and you get a soft, “mhm..” in response.
Okay, now you’re definitely beginning to overthink this. How does Hanni even like to be touched? Everyone has their own preferences on how to receive physical affection, after all. Physical touch is an art and a skill very few can master, and you were determined to prove you were more than capable.
Danielle had always been a fan of you playing with her hair— especially in its naturally curly form. Maybe Hanni would like the same?
Slowly, your hand begins to trail higher along her back, soon meeting her long, dark hair. You begin to gently card your fingers through the silky locks, resulting in a soft, satisfied hum from Hanni in response. The vietnamese girl was always the one to get the most interesting haircuts during comebacks, though she always made the effort to keep her natural hair as healthy as possible despite everything it's been put through. You don't even know how many times a new wig of just about any color has been slapped onto Hanni’s head.
Slowly, your fingers find their way up to her scalp. Her poor head must’ve gone through so much– nearly as much as Danielle’s, probably. Massaging her skin softly, Hanni becomes boneless in your arms. She loops her arms around your neck, pulling you impossibly closer as her head cranes towards your touch. The gesture leaves your heart fluttering.
It seems like the touch is unfamiliar for her as well. Her movements are slightly awkward, but not uncomfortable. Neither of you decide to comment on it.
After being practically Hanni-starved for god knows how many years, you’re over the moon. You wanted this moment to stretch on forever. The shorter girl is practically purring against you at this point, absolutely relishing in your magic touch. Your legs tangled together beneath the sheets as your shared body heat fills the room with a welcomed warmth.
Now relaxing a bit more, you can fully take in the moment. The scent of Hanni’s shampoo fills your nostrils– peaches and cream. You had gifted her that shower set some Christmas ago. Nice to see it was still being put to good use.
The darkness envelops the both of you as a comforting silence passes. Hanni’s warm breath hits your neck as you feel her breathing steady, seemingly enamored by your touch. Her body feels soft, relaxed, and absolutely perfect against yours.
You still weren't sure exactly what prompted Hanni to come into your embrace in the first place. Maybe this would be the last time. Or maybe after another long work week, she’ll find her way back into your bed within the night.
But for now, you two remain comfortably entangled and engulfed by one another, the sound of soft snores filling the air as you slowly drift to sleep, feeling nothing but warmth within her arms.

heyo! thoughts on g!p minji? 🤭🫢
Tumblr media Tumblr media
okay so minji is so bf coded, she for sure js gives me energy where she's gonna take care of you, has her arm around your waist at all times, if you're cold she'll wrap her jacket around you, all that sort of shit. and she does this because of course she loves you but also because you're her property. she owns you.
that's js how I feel ab minji in general, now as for g!p minji in bed, she's definitely on top I mean c'mon. she's FERAL for you, a dirty talker, a rough fucker, she's unhinged. when she wants you, she WANTS you, pinning you by your wrists against the bed and drilling her girthy cock aggressively into your tight pussy, making you scream in pleasure. she's not nice in bed, she loves knowing how good she makes you feel even if she doesn't try, even if she's fucking you for her own pleasure. you feel as if you're in cloud 9 everytime her dick sinks into you, her member filling up your hole perfectly, so snuggly inside, her tip reaching into your depths and hitting your g-spot once she fully thrusts in.
and she just pounds you with so much primal necessity, your pussy leaking wetness onto her cock making her thrusts so slick and delicious. she almost growls against you, mouth against your ear panting and letting out struggled and pleasured noises, calling you a good fucking cumslut who loves mommy's cock ruining her tight little pussy. absolutely loves cumming inside, fucking her cum deeper into your orgasms ripple through you both, shaking in each other's hold. makes sure to keep her cum inside of you by keeping her cock there! of course she's a cock warmer, she js is addicted to your pussy and can never get enough, need her dick in you anytime, anywhere, usually in your cunt.

𝐊𝐈𝐌 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐉𝐈 ── ❝ You smell pretty today... ❞
“You too!” You blurted out, right before realizing you'd gotten your words mixed up, “Wait- I meant to say you look pretty, but... I guess I mean both? Gosh, does that even make sense?”
A tiny smile spread across Minji's features at your adorable timidness, her boot-clad feet taking a few steps towards you before pulling you close, gracing your frame with a tender hug, “It makes perfect sense, weirdo… thanks...”
Her voice was calm and soothing as usual, despite the way it made butterflies swarm in the spot where your heart should be. You couldn't really explain it, but something about Minji's energy always had a way of making you look and feel like a lovesick geek by time you got a proper sentence out—
“So,” she began again, breaking from the embrace and looking you straight in the eye, her hands resting at your shoulders, “when were you gonna tell me about this little crush you have on me?”
Your eyes widened like you had seen a ghost, a nervous chuckle slipping past your lips as she tilted her head at you, just as you muttered a distracting, “Right after I told you which Victoria's Secret fragrance I'm wearing?”
𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐈 𝐏𝐇𝐀𝐌 ── ❝ Crystals? As a gesture?... ❞
“Pfft, of course!” Hanni replied matter-of-factly, “just like how you gave me coins for that gum-ball machine we passed earlier… but who's keeping track of all that stuff anyways?”
“You, apparently...,” you said as a gentle laugh escaped your lips at her quirky reply, “but touché, Hanni Pham... what should I do with these?”
“Hmmm,” she hummed, cupping your right palm in her own as the colorful stones glittered beneath the mall’s sunroof, “you can put them under your pillow at night!... o-or maybe even stash them in your purse so you can think about me wherever you go!”
“As if I'd need a crystal’s assistant with that,” you teased, ruffling her hair slightly with your free hand. “These are cool, though,” you went on, heart warming at both the feeling of your hand in hers and at the unique gift, “very sweet of you...”
“Eh, I tryyyy,” she replied smugly, right before blowing a tiny pink bubble with the gum she chewed, only to spit the leftover candy into a napkin and ask, “wanna close your eyes and guess what flavor you taste on me?...”
𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐒𝐇 ── ❝ I like your sweater… ❞
“Oh, this old thing?” Danielle asked with her warm Australian accent, taking the colorful sweater’s hem in her fingers to examine it's loose threads, “My nana knit this for me like... forever ago...”
“Well it's cool to see she was a step ahead of fashion trends back then,” you smiled, letting your hand brush over the soft yarn of her sleeve... That's when a certain question arose in your head:
“Random, but by chance, are you any good with using chopsticks?” You asked, wanting to keep the conversation going.
“Oh, for sure! I’m basically a pro at it,” she boasted, flipping her curly locks in a cartoonish manner.
“Sweet! I have two coupons for two different places. One for a craft store, and another for a sushi bar… only thing is that they both expire tomorrow,” You went on, hoping that she'd catch your drift without you having to state any specifics...
“Oh? Well it'd be a total bummer to let them go to waste,” she shrugged, hooking her arm in yours before tugging you along with her, “we better get going quick before they run out of sashimi… or yellow yarn…”
𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐇𝐀𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍 ── ❝ Can I come in please...? ❞
You heard a gentle voice call from behind your bedroom door, face buried into the largest pillow you could find given the sob-fest you had earlier…
“The door’s unlocked,” you sniffled, turning over on your bed to face her as she peaked from behind the door, her bright smile not even fading at the sight of you.
“I brought some heartwarming treats and DVD’s!” She began, voice just as pleasant as it always was. Haerin made her way to sit beside you on the bed, opening one of your favorite candy bars and handing it to you.
“How’d y’know I was upset?” You asked before taking a bite of the candy, chuckling a bit at the way she watched you so intently while doing so.
“I didn’t,” she went on plainly, “… I already wanted to surprise you today and just got lucky that it ended up being at a time where you needed it most…”
“Awww,” you pouted, dropping the candy bar to pull her into a hug, “you’re literally the best friend I could ask for, Haerin… thank you for coming to see me…”
“Of course,” she whispered, mind lingering on the word friend for a moment, even though she was certain you meant something a little more than that…
“So,” she began again, breaking from the contact and reaching for the TV remote, “Wanna rewatch Mean Girls or Clueless first?”
𝐋𝐄𝐄 𝐇𝐘𝐄𝐈𝐍 ── ❝ Can I touch your hair? ❞
You asked the question for one reason: You were bored out of your mind from waiting at the bus stop, and playing with Hyein’s hair seemed like a fun way to pass the time…
“Oh, sure!” She chirped, immediately straightening her posture on the park bench as you scooted closer to where she sat, taking her wavy locks into your grasp.
Hyein’s round eyes wandered to the sparkly pink Juicy Couture purse you wore over your shoulder, compelling her to ask, “What’s in the bag?”
“Oh- just some barrette’s and hair clips I got from Claire’s yesterday,” you replied, pausing to click open your purse and show her the different kinds, “Thought you might be interested in some extra bling, so…”
“You know me far too well then, ____,” she smiled, scanning each package with her eyes before suggesting that you decide which hair-clip style she would wear, and vice versa.
You let out a simple “Okay” at her offer, reaching for the pack of silver shooting stars for her hair while she held the pack of butterfly clips beside your face, a satisfied look spreading across her features.
“These are gonna look gorgeous on you,” Hyein smiled, right before opening the pack of butterflies clips and popping a few different colored ones in her palm, “This is too fun already, hehe… I can decorate your hair first, right?…”

plot: Minji was bad for you, and you knew it, but somehow, you still couldn’t walk away.
Note: this is for my @zaynieshdieh my favourite in the whole wide world of tumblr
warnings: like one punch, lowkey toxic minji, dumbass reader
Tumblr media
Minji had always been the nonchalant type—charming, confident, and frustratingly aloof. It was part of what drew you to her in the first place. The thrill of being with someone so unattainable, someone who could make you feel like you were the only one in the world with just a glance, was intoxicating. But as time went on, that thrill turned into a gnawing unease. You both weren’t exclusive, and Minji made sure to remind you of that whenever the conversation even hinted at commitment.
Tonight, you were curled up on the couch together, her black hoodie draped over your shoulders as you leaned into her, seeking comfort in the familiar scent of musky velvet that clung to her clothes. Minji’s arm was slung lazily around you, but her attention was elsewhere, her fingers tapping away on her phone.
You glanced over, catching a glimpse of the name on the screen, and felt your heart sink. She was texting someone else again. It wasn’t the first time, but it stung just the same. You bit your lip, trying to push the feeling down, but the hurt was hard to hide.
Minji noticed the shift almost immediately, her sharp eyes flicking up from her phone to your face. She let out a small, almost mocking laugh, as if she found your reaction amusing. She tossed her phone onto the couch beside her and turned her full attention to you, leaning in closer with that smug, boyish grin that you both loved and hated.
“What’s with the face, baby?” she asked, her voice teasing but with a dark edge to it. “Getting jealous again?”
You felt your breath hitch as she leaned in even closer, her gold chain dangling just above you, brushing lightly against your skin. The closeness was overwhelming, the scent of her hoodie filling your senses, but it did little to ease the unease gnawing at you.
“I just don’t get it, Minji,” you mumbled, your voice barely above a whisper. “Why can’t we just make this official? Why does it always feel like you’re keeping me at arm’s length?”
Minji smirked, a cold, detached look in her eyes as she tilted her head, her hand coming up to play with a strand of your hair. “Because I like things the way they are. You know that, baby. We’re having fun, aren’t we? Why mess with it?”
Your heart tightened at her words, the casual way she dismissed your feelings like they were nothing. “But it’s complicated… I can’t keep doing this if I’m just one of many to you.”
Minji’s expression darkened, and before you could react, she grabbed your chin, tilting your face up so you had no choice but to look into her eyes. “You’re not just one of many. You’re my only y/n,” she said, her voice low and dangerous. “But I never promised you anything more, did I?”
Her grip on your chin was firm, her eyes boring into yours with a mix of frustration and something more possessive. The way she held you, her hoodie enveloping you in its musky scent, made it hard to breathe, let alone think straight. All you could focus on was the heat of her body against yours and the icy coldness of her words.
Minji finally released you, her smirk returning as she leaned back, satisfied with your silence. “That’s what I thought,” she murmured, her voice softer now, almost affectionate. “Just relax, okay? You’re the one I’m with right now, so stop overthinking it.”
You swallowed hard, the mix of fear and longing twisting in your chest. Even as your heart ached for more, for something real, you couldn’t help but be drawn back to her, craving the small moments of tenderness she allowed you, even if they came wrapped in toxicity.
———-
She was always out, always busy, and you couldn’t help but wonder who she was with when she wasn’t with you. The small, gnawing doubts turned into something bigger—a sinking feeling in your chest that wouldn’t go away. But you pushed it down, telling yourself you were overthinking, that Minji would never hurt you like that.
One evening, you decided to surprise Minji at her place. She had been distant lately, and you thought maybe spending some quality time together would bring her back to you. As you reached her apartment, you noticed the door was slightly ajar. Your heart pounded as you stepped inside, the sound of soft laughter coming from the living room.
There, on the couch, was Minji, wrapped up with someone else. The sight was like a knife to the chest. The girl in her arms was laughing, leaning into Minji’s touch in a way that felt too intimate, too familiar. It was a scene that should’ve been reserved for you.
“You’re terrible, Minji,” the girl teased, playfully swatting Minji’s chest as she laughed. “But I kinda like that about you.”
Minji chuckled, her voice low and teasing. “I’m just saying, if I wanted, I could have you wrapped around my finger in no time.”
The girl smirked, leaning closer until her lips were nearly brushing Minji’s. “Oh? And what makes you think I’m not already?”
Minji’s eyes darkened with a mix of amusement and something more as she pulled the girl even closer, her hand resting on her thigh. “Guess I’ll just have to find out, won’t I?”
That was when Minji looked up and saw you standing there, frozen in the doorway. Her eyes widened in shock, and the smirk on her face disappeared in an instant.
“Y/N—” Minji began, her voice faltering for the first time, but you didn’t wait for her to finish. The hurt and betrayal washed over you like a tidal wave, too raw and overwhelming to process.
Without another word, you turned and fled, ignoring the frantic calls of your name echoing behind you.
“Y/N! Wait!” Minji’s voice was desperate now, but you couldn’t stop, couldn’t look back. The image of her with that girl was seared into your mind, a wound that would take far too long to heal.
You didn’t know where to go, your mind a blur of pain and anger. Before you knew it, you were standing outside Yujin’s apartment. She was your best friend, the one person you knew would understand. When she opened the door, her eyes widened in concern at the sight of your tear-streaked face.
Without a word, Yujin pulled you into her arms, holding you close as you finally broke down. She didn’t ask what happened, didn’t push you to talk until you were ready. She just let you cry, her presence a comforting anchor in the storm of emotions swirling inside you.
“I walked in on her with someone else,” you finally choked out, your voice barely a whisper. “She didn’t even try to hide it.”
Yujin’s grip on you tightened, her jaw clenched in anger on your behalf. “I’m so sorry, Y/N. You didn’t deserve that.”
You stayed with Yujin that night, finding solace in her unwavering support. She made you feel safe, cared for in a way that Minji never had. The next few days were a blur of emotions as you tried to process what had happened. Yujin was there for you every step of the way, always ready with a comforting word or a shoulder to cry on.
Meanwhile, Minji was falling apart. She tried calling, texting, even showing up at your place, but you refused to see her. You couldn’t—your heart couldn’t take it. Minji’s world, once so perfectly balanced, was crumbling, and she didn’t know how to stop it. She realized, too late, that you were the one she couldn’t afford to lose.
Minji broke things off with every girl she had been seeing behind your back. It wasn’t easy; they didn’t understand why she was suddenly pushing them away, but Minji didn’t care. The only thing that mattered was fixing the mess she had made with you.
After days of agonizing over how to reach you, Minji finally found the courage to go to Yujin’s place, knowing you’d be there. She stood at the door, her heart pounding as she knocked. When Yujin answered, her expression was icy, clearly not pleased to see her.
“I need to talk to her,” Minji pleaded, her voice trembling. “Please, Yujin. I need to make this right.”
Yujin’s eyes narrowed, anger flashing in them as she stepped outside, closing the door behind her. “Talk to her?” Yujin’s voice was low, dangerous. “After what you did? You think a few words are going to fix this?”
Minji took a step back, startled by the intensity of Yujin’s anger. “I know I messed up, Yujin. But I love her. I’ll do anything to make it right.”
Yujin scoffed, her fists clenching at her sides. “Love? You call what you did love? You don’t deserve her, Minji.”
Before Minji could respond, Yujin’s anger boiled over. She didn’t even think, didn’t give Minji a chance to react before her fist connected with Minji’s jaw. The force of the punch sent Minji stumbling back, her hand flying to her face in shock.
“What the hell, Yujin!” Minji gasped, the pain radiating through her face.
But Yujin wasn’t done. The rage she felt on your behalf took control, and she lunged at Minji again, grabbing her by the collar and shoving her against the wall. “Do you have any idea how much you hurt her? How much she cried because of you? You don’t get to just show up here and pretend everything’s okay!” Yujin huffed and continued with gritted teeth “if it weren’t for you, I would have given y/n what she deserves from the start. And that’s someone who can commit”
Minji didn’t fight back. She could barely breathe under the weight of Yujin’s anger, the guilt and shame suffocating her. “I know, Yujin,” she managed to choke out. “I know I hurt her, but I love her. Please, I just need to talk to her.”
Yujin’s grip tightened, her eyes blazing with fury. “You don’t deserve to even look at her.”
Inside the apartment, you heard the commotion and rushed to the door, flinging it open just in time to see Yujin pull back for another punch. “Yujin, stop!” you shouted, stepping between them.
Yujin froze, her fist still clenched as she looked at you, her anger slowly giving way to concern. “Y/N…”
You turned to Minji, who was slumped against the wall, her face bruised and eyes filled with tears. “What are you doing here, Minji?” you asked, your voice strained with emotion.
Minji looked at you with desperation. “I’m sorry, Y/N. I ended things with all of them. I can’t lose you. I’ll do anything, just please… give me a chance to make this right.”
You didn’t respond at first, the anger and hurt swirling inside you. But you also saw something in Minji’s eyes that you hadn’t seen before—fear, regret, and a deep, overwhelming sorrow.
“Yujin, let her go,” you said quietly, placing a hand on Yujin’s arm.
Yujin hesitated, her gaze shifting between you and Minji before she finally released her grip, stepping back. “You don’t owe her anything, Y/N,” Yujin said softly, her voice still laced with anger.
“I know,” you replied, turning to face Minji again. “But I need to hear what she has to say.”
Yujin looked at you for a moment, her jaw clenched, before nodding. “I’ll give you two some privacy,” she muttered, shooting one last glare at Minji before walking back into the apartment, leaving the door slightly ajar.
Minji took a deep breath, trying to steady herself, though her eyes remained fixed on you with an unsettling intensity. "Y/N… I know what I did was wrong. Unforgivable, even. But I need you to understand that I ended things with all of them. I can’t lose you, and I won’t."
You crossed your arms, trying to keep your emotions in check. "And what? You think saying you're sorry will just erase everything? That I'll forget how much you hurt me?"
Minji’s lips curled into a faint smile, almost as if she found your resistance amusing. "No, of course not. I don’t expect you to forget. But we both know you can’t walk away from this, from us. You need me as much as I need you."
A chill ran down your spine at her words, the way she so casually dismissed your pain. "Why should I believe you this time?"
"Because I’m not giving you a choice," Minji replied, her voice dropping to a whisper that was both tender and chilling. "You belong with me, Y/N. You know it, I know it. No one else can have you, and I’ll make sure of that. If I have to prove it every single day, I will."
Her words felt more like a threat than a promise, but the desperation in her eyes was real. The love you had for Minji was still there, tangled with fear and uncertainty. It would take time—time to see if she was truly sincere or if this was just another one of her games.
"Alright, Minji," you finally said, your voice soft but firm, trying to maintain control. "One chance. But this is it. No more lies, no more manipulation. If you hurt me again, I'm done."
Minji’s smile widened, a glint of triumph in her eyes. "You won’t regret this, Y/N. I’ll make sure you never have a reason to leave again."
As Minji pulled you into a tight, almost possessive embrace, you couldn’t shake the feeling that you were stepping into dangerous territory. But a part of you was drawn to the intensity, the passion in her words. Maybe, just maybe, this time she really meant it—but you couldn’t ignore the nagging suspicion that Minji would never let you go, no matter what it took.
Minji’s lips brushed against your ear as she whispered, “You’re mine, Y/N… and I always take care of what’s mine.”

LOVE WHISPER⠀───⠀KANG HAERIN.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SYPNOSIS : y/n l/n always makes kang haerin feels like herself. even though she doesn't quite get what's the meaning of love, she knew that yn is what the dictionary would defined about love.
TAGS : wlw, fluff, gf!haerin, yn is the same age as haerin, just them being a cute couple ig.
NOTES : finally finished one of my draft 😪 this might be nothing to yall but i finally wrote for all the njs members ( ive been trying to do this for months ) so yay 🥹
Tumblr media
if there’s one word to describe love, kang haerin would say “yn.” to her, her yn was sunshine — radiating warmth and light even on the cloudiest days. every moment spent with yn felt like a gentle embrace, making her heart flutter and her worries dissipate.
haerin often marveled at how yn could turn the simplest days into cherished memories. whether it was their late-night talks or cozy afternoons, yn had a way of making everything her feel special.
on this particular day, the sun streamed through the window, casting a warm glow across the cozy living room where yn sat curled up on the couch, her nose buried in a novel. a cup of steaming tea rested on the side table, the faint scent of chamomile filling the air.
across the room, haerin sat on the floor, her knees pulled to her chest, glancing at yn with a shy smile. she wanted yn’s attention but felt too shy to ask for it.
after a few minutes of watching hn completely absorbed in her book, haerin sighed softly, unsure of how to break the silence.
“yn…” she whispered, barely loud enough to be heard.
the said girl looked up, noticing the slight frown on haerin's face. “hey, what’s wrong?” she asked, setting her book down.
haerin’s cheeks flushed a soft pink. “n...nothing.. I… I just want… um…”
“want what, rinnie?” yn encouraged gently, her voice full of warmth.
haerin fidgeted with her fingers, glancing down. “I want your attention,” she finally admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
yn’s heart melted at the admission. “oh... of course love, come here!” she patted the spot next to her on the couch.
haerin's face lit up as she scrambled over, settling beside yn. “thanks,” she said, her voice still shy.
yn wrapped an arm around haerin, pulling her close. “what do you want to do? we could read together, or I could read to you,” she suggested with a playful grin.
haerin's eyes sparkled. “can you read to me? I like your voice.”
“only if you promise to stay snuggled up like this,” yn teased, squeezing haerin gently.
“deal!” haerin giggled, her shyness melting away.
yn picked up her book and began to read aloud, her voice soft and melodic. haerin leaned against her, the warmth between them wrapping around like a cozy blanket.
as yn read, she noticed haerin’s gaze drifting to the window, where the sunlight was dancing across the floor in golden patches.
“you know what?” yn said suddenly, setting the book down. “let’s have a little fun!”
haerin tilted her head curiously. “what do you mean?”
“let’s dance!” yn exclaimed, getting up and twirling dramatically in the middle of the living room.
haerin laughed, her shyness fading. “dance? here? now?”
“yeah? why not?” yn said, grabbing haerin’s hand and pulling her up. “just follow my lead!”
haerin giggled, feeling a rush of excitement. as yn put on some upbeat music, they began to sway together. yn’s laughter filled the room as she tried to teach haerin some silly dance moves.
“okay, now we do the ‘I’m a fish’ dance!” yn said, flailing her arms like a fish out of water.
haerin burst into laughter, trying to mimic her. “like this?” she asked, her movements completely offbeat.
“exactly! you’re a natural!” yn teased, joining in the ridiculousness.
as the song changed to something slower, yn pulled haerin closer, wrapping her arms around her waist. “now we just sway,” she said softly, swaying gently to the music.
haerin melted into yn’s embrace, her heart racing. “this is nice,” she whispered, looking up into yn’s eyes.
“It really is,” yn replied, their faces inches apart.
suddenly, haerin’s confidence surged. “okay, but I think we need to add a spin!”
before yn could react, haerin twirled them both around, laughing as they stumbled slightly.
“whoa! careful!” yn exclaimed, her laughter mixing with haerin’s.
they spun again, and this time yn took the lead, guiding haerin in a playful dance around the living room. they laughed, their hearts light, lost in their own world.
“let’s do the ‘invisible wall’ dance!” yn suggested, pretending to push against an imaginary wall.
haerin giggled uncontrollably as she joined in, pushing against the air with exaggerated effort. “this is so silly!”
after a few more chaotic moments of laughter and spinning, they collapsed onto the couch, breathless and happy.
“who knew we’d be such great dancers?” yn said, grinning at haerin.
“who knew YOU would be such a great dancer.” haerin replied, her cheeks flushed with joy.
"hey! I'm offended."
after a few minutes of silences came along. yn turned to face haerin, her expression softening. “you know, I really appreciate you. you bring so much light into my life, even when you’re shy.”
haerin’s heart swelled at yn’s words. “I feel the same way. you always know how to make me feel comfortable, even when I’m too shy to ask for it.”
yn smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind haerin’s ear. “I love that about you and I love that we can be silly together. It makes everything feel so much easier.”
“exactly! you make me feel like I can be myself,” haerin said, her voice sincere. “I never thought I could have this much fun just being me.”
yn leaned closer, resting her forehead against haerin’s. “that’s what love is about, right? feeling safe to be yourself?”
“definitely,” haerin whispered, her eyes sparkling knowing that yn is her definition of love. “I’m so grateful for you, yn.”
“and I’m grateful for you, haerin. you make my world brighter,” yn replied, her voice warm and genuine.
as they sat together, wrapped in each other’s warmth, they knew that their love was a perfect blend of laughter, appreciation, and endless support — a love that would only grow stronger with every passing day.

Skimming through the channels, you really couldn't help but be so agitated by everyone broadcasting this god-awful music show. "God, do these people only watch one thing, and why does it have to be music shows of all things?" You huffed to yourself, whilst aggressively mashing the poor remote. To be honest you'd be the first one to admit that you did enjoy all the award shows and music festivals. Hell, you've even been to your fair share, but do all these channels have to screen the same thing?
It's been the same MAMA award show on almost every channel, even networks that talked about important news, couldn't help but talk about it. Almost as if there wasn't anything else of importance to speak about, making your blood boil even more at the thought.
However, your visceral hatred for music programs wasn't always like this, well, not before at least. You used to adore watching the latest performances, always admiring the work put into performing on stage. It came to the point where you'd buy tickets for venues near your apartment. Despite not always recognizing everyone performing, you'd always sit through every performance, all the while waiting for that one special person to take the stage. Embarrassingly your true intentions were to go watch your then-girlfriend, Hanni, and cheer her on from the sidelines.
That was before, and now, the one who you called your one true love, had just recently shattered your heart into pieces because of work.
All the memories of her loving presence came back flooding into your mind, like how she'd escape practice using Minji's help just to find herself wrapped around your arms. Everything was just too much, the fact she would leave you to save face just enraged you further. "Argh! I am not about to reopen old wounds! Leave me alone you— minx!" You yelled at the screen, before throwing profanity after profanity, like some madwoman trying to stop the voices in her head. At this point, your neighbors were on the verge of sending a wellness check to the apartment.
Your rage was at a tipping point when you saw her gorgeous face popping up on the screen. You held up the remote, ready to shatter the poor television by projectile throwing the remote at the screen. It wasn't until your phone started vibrating erratically that snapped you out of your female rage. Holding your hand out and snatching the phone from the coffee table, you put the speaker to your ear.
"Yeah? Who is this?" You asked curiously, taking a mental note of how the caller's number looked eerily familiar, summing it up to being a coworker.
"Hey, I know we aren't close, but my friend needs a favor." The woman on the other side spoke with a soft and soothing voice, it sounded familiar, though the loud sounds of chanting made it hard to decipher who was on the other end. Thinking for a moment, you took your gaze out from the phone and to the television screen, biting your teeth as you saw New Jeans without Hanni nor Danielle. Sighing in relief you didn't have to see your stunningly aggravating ex-girlfriend.
Still reminiscing about all the times she's carefully and delicately peeled various fruits for you to eat without you even asking. You started to drift off thinking of ways to get her back, before snapping out of your pitiful daydreams, just to respond to the woman on the phone. "Uhm, not to sound round or anything, but who is this? I mean I'd love to do you a favor but—" You rightfully questioned, since this was just such a perplexing thing to ask someone, especially since you had no memory of them.
"Listen I’m…a friend of a friend...?" She spoke unsurely.
"Look, I'm really busy at the moment, I've got a maximum of 30 seconds before the next song starts..." The woman spoke, while you sat there still trying to puzzle together who she was. "It's just, my friend REALLY—" she exasperated the 'really' as much as her voice could. "Wants you to watch the MAMA performance today."
"What... I'm sorry, with all due respect, that's such an odd demand. I must emphasize that I don't know you, and you're not making the effort to state who you are." You commanded at the mic before the call closed, the woman on the other end not wanting to argue with you.
Before you could interrogate me further, the speakers connected to the television erupted loudly with my nose, the screams and praises abundantly clear. And of all the songs it could blast powerfully loud, it was "How Sweet" by NewJeans, but all that you could notice was Danielle throwing the phone to one of the staff before her muscle memory pushed through. (And that Hanni, who was previously sitting perfectly fine with the other members wasn't going to perform the song with them.)
As quickly as you comprehend the song was playing, you put down the volume to a bearable state. Admittedly you still felt a bit creeped out by that call, but then again compared to the phone calls and letters you received from crazed lovers, it wasn't the worst thing you've gotten.
Suddenly a sinister realization hit you, other than working, you didn't do much during your day off, only thing mildly interesting happening today on my day off was this fuck ass show. And if that caller's so-called "friend" wanted you to watch the performances, you'd do just that. So that's how you decided that you'd spend your precious time letting out your toxic rage on these performances in the comfort of your own home.
The time flew so quickly, and most if not all the artists were so enjoyable, but then, the performance you had dreaded the most was about to happen. However, a part of you was quite ecstatic to watch that dreadfully alluring woman fail miserably on stage. (But be honest, Hanni never does, she always looks perfect doing what she loves, not the mention how elegant she sounds when she sings.)
"God Hanni, even till this day you're insufferable. Fuck." You screeched, as the painfully beautiful memories of her flooded your brain, while all you could do was continue to shove chips into my mouth, eating them up with a bittersweet rage. But with your prior knowledge, before the performance started, the artists were given about a 10-minute break to get all the equipment and stage ready. So you were left with your heart racing inside your chest.
After a dreadful wait, you watched as the dim lights began to slowly light the stage with a warm spotlight, and the LED backboard displayed a beautiful orange orchard. It took you aback since Hanni’s most recent solo tracks never mentioned anything about flowers or fruits. You hated to admit that no matter what you still supported her career to the bitter end of your relationship, so every little detail about her was engraved into your mind. But oh hell, if it's a mess up, even better for you right?
"Ah, hello everybody. I hope you've been enjoying the performances today. Everyone is so good!—" Hanni spoke, the crowd roared at her words, and the camera flashed to her coworkers smiling proudly at her words.
"I understand everyone wants my more recent solo songs, but I wanted to showcase a new song. I made it about someone close to me." She continued, while even more mental anguish bubbled up inside your head by how she spoke so softly about the song, and how you assumed she moved on so quickly.
"I hope you all will enjoy this performance." That was the last thing she said before the backtrack began to play. It was a gentle stroke of a guitar before the other members of the band continued to play to the rhythm. The song continued as you leaned closer into the TV, using your remote to turn up the music playing from the speakers.
“Color it gray...” She sang, your heart thumping out of your chest, your mind drifting to the moments leading to your eventual fallout.
“Until I forget you
Like I never met you” The memory of her pleading you to forget about whatever connection you both shared because she didn’t want to drag your career down. Her tears still linger in your mind.
“My dearest, my dearest Clementine” She continued, looking back at the first time she ever spoke so dearly about you, using ‘Clementine’ as a term of endearment because you both cringed at the thought of calling each other ‘baby’ or anything of that sort.
“Color it gray
Until I forget you
Like I never met you”
“My dearest Clementine”
“Throw it away
But close enough to you” Her voice strained by her sorrow.
“Cause although I hate you
I will still fall in love, my Clementine”
“Every time, always”
“No matter how hard I try”
“My Clementine, every time”
You're always on my mind” She ended, fixing her gaze to the camera, looking longingly, as if she was looking at something— no someone through the screen.
You watched in disbelief as she closed up her performance, and walked off the stage, still wearing the matching dragonfruit and orange necklace you bought together. It was a few minutes sitting in utter bewilderment before getting a call on your cellphone. All you could do is weakly pick it up, while still being in complete shock at what you just watched, and without checking the contact you forced yourself to speak up, "Uh..." with a very long pause, you resumed "Hello."
"Clementine!" The voice on the other line spoke loudly, there was no other person who called me that sickening nickname other than the one and only Hanni Pham.
"I thought I blocked you!" You shouted defensively at your phone trying to get this woman to hang up.
"Yeah! But you never blocked Danielle since she never really messaged you, haha!"
"Just leave me alone you freak!" You argued loudly, "I'm hanging up on you Han—" Before you could press, block caller, you heard her scream from the other side.
"No wait!"
"You saw my performance right?"
"Uhm... I wouldn't say I didn't." You awkwardly admitted, still trying to avoid answering her questions.
You sat in awkward silence for a while before she spoke again, "Please, I know you— we weren't the most mature people, but please give me one more chance. I know I shouldn't be asking you on the phone…” You hear a faint sigh before Hanni carries on with her whole speech. “but I don't know any other way to contact you without you running in the opposite direction."
Rolling your eyes behind the phone, you took in a deep breath and analyzed the situation before making a very calm, calculated response. "No! Die in a ditch, Hanni! You dumped me! Then made a song with my nickname and aired it out to everyone!"
"No! No! No wait! Please! Clementine! That's the only way to get through to you! Please Y/N, I wouldn't be begging like this for anyone else."
"Ugh... fine! We'll talk about this later once you're done with work alright? Besides you shouldn't be stressed during award shows, it shows."
"Really?!" She questioned, a bit shocked that you would even give her the time of day.
"Yeah, whatever, don't overwork yourself."
"Thank you so much, I promise I won't, thanks for caring so much, even with everything I’ve done."
"Yeah yeah, you know my place, I'll cook something up, and bring you comfortable clothes, because I'm going to give you a piece of my mind."
"I should've expected that, don't worry, we'll talk, I promise, I’ll listen to whatever you have to say— and I promise I won’t make any more stupid decisions."
"Sure."
"I never break my promises clementine."
"Just— go back to work, Hanni! You're pissing me off, your sweet talk won't work on me this time, I'm gonna beat your ass no matter what."
"It was worth the try." She laughed before hanging up the phone, you swore you were gonna kill her when she came back home. But for now, you forced yourself off the couch and prepared everything for her arrival, after all, she never broke her promises.

It has been one year and a half since you lived with the five girls in college. you enjoyed living with your five best friends.
the dorm was large enough to have six people; thankfully, you and the others are very organized and love cleaning. minji, hanni and you are in your 3rd year in college, while danielle and haerin are in their 2nd, and hyein is in her 1st year.
the first time you met them, it was a little nerve-wracking. ever since middle school, you were a bit paranoid and scared of what people would think of you.
although it would be normal for them to do so, you couldn't stop overthinking it, and lots of times you would get panic attack about it.
when you enter your 1st year of college, you don't have anyone to rely on. as an irregular student, it is already difficult for you to adjust to a new environment and people.
it was then you met minji and hanni, who are best friends ever since elementary.
at first, you were nervous around them since they look too pretty and a bit mean-looking. but as you get to know them, they are far from the mean part and definitely beautiful inside out.
the moment they introduced you to their other friends— danielle, haerin and hyein— you knew that they had already accepted you as a new part of their circle of best friends. and never have you thought of regretting to meet them.
and as time goes on until you reach your 3rd year of college, you start living with them in a large dorm, fit for six and over people. not a single day was boring, and because of them, you enjoyed your college despite the stress and humiliation you've experienced.
since then, you have grown closer to them. you shared your personal life with them and felt like your connection with each other is closer to a family bond, or even more than that.
otherwise, you were just so happy with your current life with them.
─────
"y/n-ah, you wanna hang out today with us?"
hanni asks as she knocks on your door and slightly opens it to peek her head, watching as you tie up your hair because it was getting in your way whenever you're writing.
you hummed thoughtfully as you finished tying up your hair. "i think i'll stay back for now, unnie. who will you go with?" hanni enters your room fully and trots towards your way as you ask a question.
"just going with haerin, hyein, and dani. they wanna eat outside, so of course, i would too since i like eating outside!" you chuckle as you spin your swivel chair towards her and hold her hands habitually and she stood in front of you.
"that or you would only stay in whenever i cook for us, hm?" you razzed at her, raising your brows at her playfully while she laughed sheepishly, playing with your fingers.
"it's cuz your cooking is much better than in restaurants! well, an expected of our hm student!"
sharing a peal of laughter, you released her hands and pat her hips playfully. "anyways, i guess you should be going now? time is running fast, y'know?" to which hanni nodded and patted your head as she turned away to leave your room.
"yeah, man! we'll go now!" you bid her goodbye and turned back to your study table but hanni announced one more thing. "by the way, minji is staying back too! she said she's not feeling well!" then she left, leaving you chuckling.
"i bet she's that unwell." you shake your head, already knowing the oldest's reason.
─────
it has been half an hour since the four left the dorm, leaving you and minji at home alone. minji didn't make a sound outside her room, so you assumed that she was asleep at times like this while you continued working on your projects.
as time goes by, you begin to feel stressed about your work. you leaned back to your swivel chair and released a deep sigh, closing your eyes to ease the headache.
you rested for a while before going back to your projects until your stomach growled for hunger. you sighed once more before deciding to leave your projects alone to make an early dinner for you, and for minji, if she wants to.
retiring from your room, you head to minji's room and gently knock on her door. "minji-unnie? are you awake?" then, you smiled in relief when a soft hum was heard muffling from behind the door.
"i'll make an early dinner right now- do you have anything in mind of what you'd like to have?" you received no answer. you frowned slightly before feeling a soft vibration inside your hoodie's pocket.
you looked down and took out your phone to see a message from minji. you smiled understandingly.
'anything works for me'
just a simple answer from her is enough. you knocked once on the door, "alright, unnie. i will call you out later once it's done." without waiting for her response, you walked away to head towards the kitchen area.
you arrived and quickly turned on the small bluetooth speaker that you bought last month and connected it to your phone. going into your playlist, you tapped the first song.
'fly me to the moon' lofi
you place your phone on top of the speaker and begin your cooking session. you decided to cook dakgalbi with rice and egg and gaji namul, knowing that minji has been craving dakgalbi since yesterday, so you decided to cook that.
to say, you feel happy to eat meat again this week.
as you concentrated on cooking and humming the music, you weren't aware of a door opening and closing and minji appearing behind you.
earlier, while minji was resting since she was feeling a little unwell, she smelled something aromatic outside her door. curious despite feeling dizzy, she leaves her bed and room to check what you are cooking.
upon smelling the familiar scent, she was excited to know it was dakgalbi you were cooking. when she arrived at the kitchen area, she smiled at the sight of you, who was enjoying cooking and humming.
the atmosphere felt perfect for minji.
she tiptoed towards you, planning to hug you from behind. as minji was about to wrap her arms around your waist, you suddenly turned around and both of you shared a surprised yelp.
"unnie! i didn't even hear you coming in!" you placed a hand on where your racing heart was, laughing at what just happened. minji laughed with you, hugging you because she got a little surprised at the sudden turn. "i'm sorry! i wanted to surprise you but i guess we both got too surprised."
you shake your head, "it's okay! just a little surprise- are you feeling unwell, unnie?" you press the back of your hand on minji's forehead, feeling it heat a bit.
but minji only nodded against the back of your hand, loving the warm sensation that you left on her skin. "i'm kinda okay, feeling a little dizzy but water and medicine can fix it in no time."
she reassures you but you look at her with narrowed eyes. "uh huh, sure. go sit down for a bit, it's almost done." you shooed her away and turned around to finish cooking but you jumped when you felt arms sneaking around your waist.
"unnie, really."
minji giggles at your deadpan face, tightening her arms around your waist and leaning her head on your back. "let me stay like this first. i think you're making me feel better." you rolled your eyes at her flirt comment, but not rejecting this sweet being.
"not my fault if you collapse, minji-ssi~" you hummed at her, gently bumping your head to hers before concentrating on cooking. she chuckles lightly and hums back as she relaxes against your warm body.
"...you gotta let me borrow your hoodie one day, y/n. this feels too warm for me and i might steal it if you don't let me borrow it."
you snort as you reach up to the cabinet for 2 plates, ignoring the small whine on your back. "i let you borrow it but you left it inside your closet for months! i wouldn't have it back if i didn't remember it."
minji bit your back and proudly giggled at your yelp. "i felt bad but your worried look is too adorable. of course, not anymore when you got mad at me when you found it."
you nodded with an amused smile, "you don't like it whenever i get angry but you purposely find ways to make me mad, girl. don't even." minji stifles laughter, "well, my bad."
after a little chat, it was finally finished. you asked her to help you take the food on the table, to which she didn't hesitate to do so. once you placed all your meals on the table, you sat next to each other and started eating your dinner. "thanks for the food!"
you both exclaimed excitedly and dug in. the instant minji took a bite, she moaned in satisfaction. "y/n, seriously. you should consider my confession again- i need you as my wife."
you laughed heartily at her serious face and heart-fluttering comment. "shut up! just eat!"
minji giggles at your cute reaction, reminiscing about this heartwarming moment with you before retaking a bite of the dakgalbi, letting out a satisfied and delightful moan.
you hit her arm to stop the weird sound.

MEN DNI
It was a cold night. You were at a random party, bored out of your damn mind. Your friends went off with some randoms and you were left alone. There were a couple of guys that asked you to dance but you weren't interested since well you already had been crushing on someone for a while. As you drink a cup of mixed alcohol you grab your phone and decide to text your best friend, Minji to pick you up.
After sending the text, you glance around the room, your mind wandering to thoughts of Minji. You’ve always loved how effortlessly charming she was, her laughter lighting up any space. She could easily make friends with anyone, but tonight she chose you. You sip your drink, trying to stave off the chill that has settled in from the cold, yet warm surroundings.
A few minutes later you get a text from Minji telling you that she arrived. You throw the plastic red cup in the trash, grab your things and head out.
You get to the car and open the door. You slide inside. "What a shitty day.. Can you drop me off home Minji?"
Minji just laughs and starts the car again. "Of course princess."
Minji had a habit of calling you weird couply pet names but this time it felt different. Heat rushed to your face when she called you that. It was weird.
After a good while you finally stop at your house. "Thanks Min."
But before you could get up Minji grabs your arm. You sit back down and look at her.
"Min what's wrong?" Right when you ask that she grabs your face and kisses you. It was normal for you guys to kiss randomly but this felt different. It felt like more intense and more desireble.
Your heart raced as the warmth of her lips pressed against yours. The world outside faded into a blurred backdrop, the muffled sounds of the cars driving by turned into complete silence. You could feel how soft her plump lips were, how inviting it felt to kiss them. Like it was her way of letting you that you can do whatever you desired to her.
The kiss deepened, each movement of the kiss just made the time go by slower and slower. Your fingers instinctively tangled in her hair, pulling her closer, wishing the warmth of her body could chase away every chill. For so long, you had hidden your feelings, convincing yourself it was just a fleeting crush, but in that moment, all those thoughts shattered like glass.
You truly had a crush on Minji for a while and it was pretty obvious to both you and her.
“Min,” you breathed against her lips, the air thick with an undeniable tension. "What are you doing?" You say inbetween kisses as Minji unbuttoned your shirt. You haven't done things like these let alone with your best friend. "I am tired of just kissing and then ending it off there.." Her voice was low, velvety, and the admission made your heart leap like a trapped bird desperate for freedom.
You could taste the sweet mixture of her fruity lip gloss and the alcohol on your tongues as you explored eachother's mouths, longing to feel more.
She takes off your clothes so now you were only in your underwear. Minji started kissing down from your jaw to your neck.
With her fingers still wrapped around your arm, Minji leaned in again, her perfectly manicured nails digging into your skin just enough to send another surge of pleasure coursing through you. “Is this okay?” she asked, her voice a whisper, heavy with anticipation.
“Yes,” you breathed, the simple word laden with the weight of desire that had been simmering beneath the surface for far too long.
She placed her hands on your hips, helping you grind across her leg. "Fuck you're so wet.. Not bad for your first time huh.?"
She moves one of her hands from your hip and unclasps your bra and takes it off, kissing around your chest and leaving bite marks so anyone who wanted to get a taste of you would know who you belong to. Her and only her.
"Min.. please i can't take it anymore.." Minji chuckles at your comment and pulls away. "What do you need baby?"
You sigh as she says that. "I need you... inside me Minji." "Fuck.. say my name again baby.." Minji sweared. Your breathless voice could make her cum alone. "Minji.."
It didn't take Minji a second to take off your damp panties and start massaging your puffy clit with her fingers. You start to shiver when you realize how cold it was.
Closing your eyes shut, you nuzzle into Minji's neck. Trying your best to hold back your own moans. This felt new, you haven't felt pleasure like this in your life let alone with the person you were inlove with.
Minji pushes two fingers inside you, your eyes widen at the new feeling. She still continues to stroke your clit as she pumps her fingers deep inside your pussy, hitting all the best spots.
"Min.. this feels so.. good." You look at Minji and kiss her again, wrapping your hands around her neck as she starts going even faster.
"Awww sweetheart..are you overwhelmed? Am i making you feel good?"
You nod. Trying your best to not pass out right then and there.
The sound of your wet pussy could be heard outside the car much less your muffled moans and slight screams against Minji's swollen lips. Minji was really enjoying herself.
You feel a slight knot tighten in your stomach. "Minji," You moan out her name against her soft lips. "I.. feel weird.." you say inbetween kisses.
"Don't worry baby, it will all make sense soon." She feels your pussy tighten around her fingers. Indicating that you were getting closer to your high.
Scuffing against her fingers as she pumped them inside you, you feel like you are about to leak.
"Minji... i'm super close.." Minji shushed you as she started to fasten her pace into your soft pussy.
And right at that moment you felt everything start crashing down. You finally reached the high both of you were longing for. Your legs shaking, you ride out your high on Minji's fingers. As you finish Minji pulls out her fingers. Cleaning them up with an extra towel she owned.
"Aww sweetie.." You wrapped you hands around her, cuddling her. "Come on now honey.. let's get dressed." Minji picked up your clothes that were scattered across the car and helps you put them on. She grabs your things and you guys go to your house.
She lays you down on your bed, resting with you. Minji covers you both with a blanket as you guys cuddle together. You soon fall asleep and Minji notices that. She kisses you good night and goes to sleep with you.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing - Haerin x f!reader
Genre - Fluff
Warnings - No one(?), just small
Synopsis: You've liked Haerin for years, but never had the courage to say it, on a trip you decide you can't keep it to yourself anymore.
Tumblr media
The noise of the waves is enough to fill your ears to the point where you no longer hear the now distant voices as you and the feline girl walked side by side. You looked at Haerin only for her to already be looking in your direction, you raised an eyebrow and smiled lightly.
"What?" you asked without looking away from her eyes.
“Just looking, you look beautiful.” your heart raced, even with a simple compliment, just looking at her, her smile, hearing her voice, made your heart race.
“Thank you, you look magnificent” she laughed and looked away, her cheeks becoming pinker.
“Oh, stop it Y/n.” You looked back to the front, her laugh was still in your thoughts.
"Why?"
“It’s making me feel ashamed.” You looked at her again.
Haerin seemed to shine in your eyes, you always saw her different, since you met her, she was different, her smile shined brighter, her eyes were brighter and more eye-catching than everyone else you looked at, you remember exactly the day you you realized you were in love with her.
(“Rin!” you called her “I did it! I joined the photography club.” you smiled and the girl smiled along with it.
“Congratulations, you wanted this so bad, I knew you would get in.” She hugged you, you felt your body heat up as she hugged you back, your heart pounded “Your heart is racing.”
“I really wanted that.” she agreed and let you go while looking into your eyes.
“But seriously, I think you should go to the doctor, it felt like it was going to explode, I don’t want my friend to die.”
You will be the reason I die, Kang Haerin.)
You grabbed your camera and turned it on.
"Wait." you stopped walking, as soon as you were ready you called her. “Just smile.”
“Wait, my hair is messed up, it’s going to look weird.” you clicked
“It would be weird anyway.” you lowered the camera as you looked at the photo on the screen.
"Hey!" you felt a slap on your shoulder and you just laughed, Haerin's photo mesmerized you.
“You look beautiful.” she looked at the camera.
“You are a great photographer.”
“I could be terrible, you would be beautiful anyway.” You felt her gaze so you turned, your eyes glazed over each other, for a certain moment you felt sparks.
His chest felt like it was going to explode, your heart was racing, body was getting hotter and hotter, your eyes never left the feline girl and for a few seconds they rested on the shorter girl's mouth, but then they soon returned to her eyes. Without realizing it, you were speaking without thinking.
“Haerin…”
“Y/n…” she spoke quietly, still looking into your eyes, you were starting to feel intimidated.
“I… I love you.” she smiled.
"I love you too." you sighed “Didn’t you want me to answer that? Okay, I don't love you, I hate you.”
“Not that, Rin, I…” you took a deep breath and looked down “I really love you, I know I say that all the time, but it's different this time, I've felt this way for a while and I was so scared of you. talk, you're a great friend and I don't want to lose you, but I don't think I can keep this in anymore…” you spoke quickly, too quickly.
The sound of the sea filled your ears again, you felt your eyes burning as your chest sank and your hand still holding the camera ended up slowly falling to your hip.
“Are you done?” You sighed.
“No… I… I'm sorry, I don't know why I said that now, but I don't think I would keep it any longer, I'm really sorry Haerin…” you felt the tears fall, even though she hadn't nothing said, you settled for a “no” without even hearing it. You wiped your tears with the sleeve of your shirt.
“Y/n, look at me.” You denied lightly.
"I am unable."
“Look at me, please.” You felt two of her fingers lift your chin slightly, you looked at her without moving your head anymore. Haerin smiled “I love you.”
The girl's two hands cupped your cheeks and brought your lips together, feeling the softness left you in shock, your hand shook as you closed your eyes a little. Your left hand held Haerin's wrist and you felt her smile against your lips, unfortunately, she pulled away.
“I was waiting for you to say that, I feel that way too, it feels like I'm going to die every time I see you, I love you so much, Y/n” you were in shock and couldn't think it through, it felt like a dream, you couldn't think it through. sentence with real words.
“Oh.”
“Oh.” She smiled, you were still confused.
“Are you really? It is serious?" she agreed “Oh.”
“Oh.” she laughed again “What are we now?”
“I guess… girlfriends?” you spoke quietly, still feeling the feeling of Haerin's lips on yours.
"Serious?"
“Well, will you be my girlfriend?” You smiled lightly.
"Yes!" She spoke loudly and hugged you. You smiled.
The girl you've been in love with for years has accepted your dating proposal, you wouldn't have imagined that a few minutes ago.
You love Kang Haerin, she loves you back.

Happier Than Ever
Y/N, the youngest member of NewJeans, doesn’t seem to fit in. Her groupmates think she’s distant and always trying to outshine them. But during one performance, she steps forward with an unplanned solo, revealing a side of her that no one saw coming. As the truth comes out, everything changes, and Y/N is forced to take a choice she never chose.
Pairing — NewJeans x F! Reader (platonic)
Genre — Angst and a bit of fluff if u squint
Warnings — Mentions of trauma and abuse
WC — 8.6k words
Tumblr media
Y/N had always been the outlier in NewJeans. The maknae, the sassy one, the one who never seemed to care. At least, that’s what the others thought. From the moment she joined the group, she was distant, never quite fitting into their easy camaraderie. The way she threw herself into practice, trying to outdo everyone, the sharp remarks, the cold demeanor—it was enough to make them think she was just trying to steal the spotlight.
“She’s so full of herself,” Hyein had muttered one day, rubbing her sore shoulders after another long practice session. “Yeah, I don’t get why she tries so hard,” Danielle added, her tone frustrated.
“It’s like she thinks she has to be perfect all the time.” Haerin hummed. “She probably just wants to be the center of attention,” Minji sighed. “I don’t know. She’s always got this attitude. It’s like she doesn’t care about us.”
What they didn’t know was that Y/N was fighting a battle none of them could see. Her father, a man who had never supported her dream of becoming an idol, was the force behind her relentless drive.
To him, anything less than perfection was a failure. And failure wasn’t an option. “If you don’t stay at the top, you’re done,” he had told her, his voice harsh. “I’ll pull you out of that group and make sure you do something worthwhile. Doctor. Lawyer. Something respectable.”
She had no choice but to push herself harder than anyone else, even if it meant alienating her members. They didn’t understand. They couldn’t.
Tumblr media
That night, the arena was packed. Thousands of fans waved their lightsticks, cheering as the stage lights dimmed for the next performance. Backstage, NewJeans were preparing for their set, but Y/N felt a knot in her stomach that wouldn’t go away.
Tonight, she had to break free.
Before the others could ask what was wrong, Y/N stepped forward, holding her microphone tightly. Her heart raced as she looked at Minji, her voice trembling. “I need to sing a solo.”
“What?” Minji frowned, confused. “We don’t have time for that, Y/N. It’s not part of the plan.”
“I'm sorry, but please.” Y/N said quietly, her eyes avoiding theirs. “I have to do this.”
The others exchanged glances, their frustration evident. What was she thinking? They had worked so hard to prepare for tonight’s show, and now Y/N was going off-script? But in the end they agreed. She never begs, nor apologizes. This must be important.
“Fine,” Minji finally said, exasperated. “But this better be quick.”
Y/N nodded and walked toward the stage, her steps heavy. As she stepped into the spotlight, she caught sight of her father sitting in the front row. His face was blank, emotionless, but Y/N knew better. She could feel his judgment, the pressure that had been suffocating her for years.
She grabs her guitar with her, playing the chords softly, and Y/N took a deep breath. This was it.
She was going to let everything out.
"When I’m away from you, I’m happier than ever…"
Her voice was soft at first, almost fragile, but the weight of the words echoed through the arena. The fans quieted, sensing something was different. Backstage, the other members stared in confusion, unsure of what was happening.
"Wish I could explain it better, I wish it wasn’t true…"
Y/N’s voice cracked slightly, but she kept going. The memories of her father’s cruel words, his impossible demands, played over and over in her mind. This wasn’t just a performance anymore—it was her story.
"You called me again, drunk in your benz, driving home under the influence…"
As the next verse flowed out, Minji’s eyes widened in realization. This wasn’t just some random song choice. Y/N was singing about something real. Something painful.
"You scared me to death, but I’m wasting my breath, ‘cause you only listen to your fucking friends…"
Tears welled up in Y/N’s eyes as she sang. She could feel her father’s cold gaze on her from the audience, and it made her chest tighten. She had spent so long trying to please him, trying to be perfect, but it was never enough.
"I don’t relate to you, I don’t relate to you, no, ‘cause I’d never treat me this shitty, you made me hate this city…"
Haerin gasped softly, finally understanding. Y/N wasn’t some brat trying to outshine them. She was fighting for her life, for her dream. And she had been doing it all alone.
"And I don’t talk shit about you on the internet, never told anyone anything bad, ‘cause that shit's embarrassing, you were my everything, and all that you did was make me fucking sad…"
The pain in Y/N’s voice was raw, unfiltered. Every word cut deeper, every note a release of all the emotions she had buried for years. The fans were in shock, many of them wiping away tears, while backstage, the members watched, hearts breaking.
"So don’t waste the time I don’t have, don’t try to make me feel bad..."
Y/N’s voice grew louder, more intense. The anger she had kept hidden for so long was finally spilling out. She wasn’t just singing for herself—she was fighting for her freedom, for her right to choose her own life.
"I could talk about every time that you showed up on time, but I’d have an empty line, ‘cause you never did…"
Her hands trembled as she gripped the microphone, her voice carrying the weight of years of disappointment. Her father had never been there when she needed him, never supported her when she struggled, and now she was finally telling the world.
"Never paid any mind to my mother or friends, so I shut ‘em all out for you ‘cause I was a kid…"
The lights on stage seemed to dim around her as the final words fell from her lips. The room was silent, the audience stunned, unsure of how to react to the raw honesty they had just witnessed.
Backstage, the other members could only stand in shock, tears streaming down their faces. Y/N had been fighting a battle none of them had seen, a battle they had misunderstood. She wasn’t trying to be better than them. She was trying to survive.
"You ruined everything good, always said you were misunderstood, made all my moments your own..
just fucking leave me alone!"
By the end of the song, Y/N’s voice was shaking, her body trembling from the emotional toll. She stood there, tears rolling down her cheeks, staring out into the darkened crowd, knowing her father was there, watching.
Then, as the final note faded, the silence was broken by slow, hesitant applause. It started with one person, then another, until the entire stadium erupted into cheers. The fans understood. They had felt her pain, and they were with her.
Y/N didn’t move. Her eyes were locked on the figure of her father sitting in the front row. His face was cold, unfeeling, as if her words hadn’t touched him at all. And in that moment, she knew—he would never change. He would never let her be free.
As the rest of NewJeans rushed onto the stage to comfort her, Y/N felt her father’s presence like a dark cloud looming over her. Her members hugged her tightly, whispering apologies, telling her they were there for her now. But Y/N couldn’t shake the feeling of dread.
“I’m so sorry,” Minji whispered, holding Y/N’s shaking form. “We didn’t know… We didn’t understand.”
“We should’ve seen it,” Hanni added, her voice thick with guilt. “You didn’t have to go through this alone.”
Y/N’s tears fell faster, but she couldn’t bring herself to respond. Her father’s eyes bored into her from across the stage, and she knew this wasn’t over. It wasn’t up to her anymore.
Suddenly, a figure began moving toward the stage. It was her father, pushing his way through the crowd, his face stone-cold with fury. The members of NewJeans noticed him at the same time, their protectiveness flaring up as they closed in around Y/N.
“What does he want?” Danielle asked, her voice trembling with anger.
Y/N didn’t answer. She couldn’t. She just stood there, frozen in place, as her father reached the edge of the stage and motioned for her to come down. His hand gestured sharply, a silent command.
“Y/N…” Minji started, her voice full of concern.
But Y/N knew she had no choice. She wiped her tears and stepped back from her groupmates, avoiding their eyes as she walked toward the stairs. The crowd’s cheers faded as confusion spread through the arena.
“Where is she going?” Hyein whispered, panic creeping into her voice.
Her father grabbed her arm as soon as she reached him, pulling her away from the stage. The grip was tight, unforgiving. Y/N winced but didn’t fight back. She was too drained, too scared. Her dream was slipping away before her eyes, and there was nothing she could do.
“No,” Minji said firmly, stepping forward. “She doesn’t have to go with you.”
But Y/N’s father shot them a cold glare. “This is none of your business. She’s my daughter. And she’s done with this ridiculous idol nonsense.”
Danielle’s fists clenched in anger. “You can’t do that to her. She’s not your puppet.”
Y/N shook her head slightly, signaling to her members that it was no use. This was her reality. Her father’s control over her life was too strong, and no matter how much they cared for her now, it wasn’t enough to change that.
“I’m sorry,” Y/N whispered, her voice barely audible. “I’m so sorry…”
Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Hyein and Haerin stood helplessly as Y/N was led away, her figure disappearing into the crowd. The fans, confused and heartbroken, watched as the youngest member of NewJeans was taken from the stage, her future with the group slipping away with every step.
As the doors to the backstage area closed behind her, Y/N felt her father’s control settling over her once again. The dream she had worked so hard for, the friendships she had finally started to build—it was all slipping through her fingers.
She had sung her truth. She had shown the world who she really was.
But it wasn’t enough.
Her father’s voice was low and cold as they left the venue. “That’s it. You’re done with this idol nonsense. Tomorrow, we’ll start making plans for your future. A real future.”
Y/N didn’t respond. She had nothing left to say.
As the car drove away from the arena, leaving the lights and cheers behind, Y/N stared out the window, her heart heavy with the realization that her dream was over.
She was no longer a part of NewJeans.
And in that cold night, she knew she would never be happier than ever again.

"Bro, I suck at these games, but how do you manage to not knock down at least one bottle?" Hanni half questioned and complained, causing Danielle to nudge her in order to shut her up.
Minji stared at her friends like a menace, even more terrifying when Haerin stared at them for no absolute reason. The sound of the toyish gun machine was the only thing she continued to hear, along with the disappointed sighs, for every time she missed a plastic bottle.
"Should we get more snacks? We could get a soft cold drink for her," Danielle whispered with care in her voice, but since she was a terrible whisperer, it caused Minji's hold on the toy gun to become stronger. "Yeah.. we are definitely going to the snack and drink bar. Minji, we'll be just over there if you decide to give up, okay?"
"Make sure there's ice in it, I can't stand drinks without ice in them!" Haerin looked over to her shoulders as she continued to make her way over to their new destination, her cute yet annoying stare creeping Minji out to the point Danielle had to stop the younger girl from staring.
It took over more than Minji's monthly allowance to finally realize that she needed to stop. Otherwise, she wouldn't have enough money to buy more stuff that intrigued her. Before walking over to join her friends who watched her while making conversations, a stranger took the spot next to her. The strong visuals of the stranger next to her gave her the sudden gay panic attack. Seriously, who knew it'd be a blissful night when all of a sudden you see a cute stranger? It's definitely a win for Minji.
"It's a struggle for beginners." The girl happily hummed, almost as though she was talking to Minji.
"Uh.." Minji awkwardly looked back to her friends, wondering if she should reply(if it was even for her).
Hanni shot a thumbsup, giving it as a sign for Minji to reply even though she didn't know the exact reason for why Minji was staring at them with a questionable look in the first place.
Danielle watched the whole thing, sending a frown at her fellow Australian friend. "Do you even know why she looked over at us?"
"Hey," Hanni shrugged, "anything is good when it comes to a pretty girl."
Hyein, the only 14 year old there, snorted. Acting as though she didn't beg her mom to join them in the first place. Perks come when your mom is a social person. Plus, they were all basically her older sisters, so it was a win-win situation(only for Hyein).
"Unless she told her to stop staring because it creeped her out!" Hyein stated proudly, giggling to herself afterward.
"Right, staring is weird." Haerin added quietly, causing the three of them to look at her to see if she was even joking.
-
Back to Minji. Iternally gay screaming out of her mind Minji. The awkward silence between her and the cute stranger in front of her made her suffocate. For some reason, she wanted to leave, but it'd also mean missing a chance on at least starting a conversation with you. Yeah, blame it on her half introverted when meeting strangers and half extroverted when cursing at her friends personality. It's truly a blessing for her.
"I'm thinking I should aim for the one on the right top and get 10 more points," you spoke out your thoughts, "but I already have more points needed for the prize I want and it wouldn't really matter anyways unless I want to impress the pretty girl besides me and get one for her too. Which one do you think I should go with?"
Minjo turned red the moment you finished your sentence—or question. She didn't really know, but all that matters was the fact that you had basically called her pretty. It was also smooth along the lines.
"Uhh.. I'd say pick your choice? I don't know." Shs quickly answered, biting her lips and cringing mentally for sounding too dry for her own liking.
"Pretty girl, it is." You smiled, aiming perfectly for the toy bottle.
The worker clapped, feeling proud of himself for setting up such an 'easy' game, blind to the fact that half the people who paid to play didn't really win because the bottles were far and not everyone had great vision. Also, because some had horrible control over their aiming.
"Could I get the teddy bear on the top, right?" You kindly asked as he sent a proud thumbs up. "Thanks."
Minji's eyes stayed on you, waiting for you to look back at her to start another conversation. You eventually did, holding onto the teddy bear that the worker had given you.
"Do you still want this?" The shock on her face made you giggle, turning her even more redder than before.
Nodding her head shamelessy, not because her collection was about to be complete but because you had gifted it to her with your own efforts, made everything about the teddy bear feel more special.
"SHE'S SINGLE BY THE WAY!" A loud voice coming over the snacks and drinks bar made you jump a little.
Judging from the way Minji glared at the pretty girl who proudly wore her bangs, they must have been close friends. The passerbys continued to walk after hearing the loud shout. It was gonna be a memorable moment to you, but for the shy girl in front of you, it was definitely gonna be an embarrassing memory for her.
"I'm Minji, by the way," you smiled and nodded, waiting for her to finish so you could introduce yourself. "And I'm very thankful for the uh.. teddy bear. Am I supposed to give something in return? Because.. I'd really love to, so I don't have to feel as though I'm in debt."
"Y/N, and if anything.. I don't really need anything in return!"
"No, no, I insist."
"No, it's fine!"
"No, like, I want you to ask for something in return. Don't make me feel guilty."
"Oh! Then would it be fine if I took some of your time? It'll be short since you clearly have friends over there waiting to hang with you." Minji looked over at her friends who immediately sent another thumbsup, mouthing the words "we don't mind!'' or "we don't care, just leave."
"It's a yes. Take as much time even. I think they'd be more happy that a stranger took me out of their sight.."
You chuckled. "Alright! Where to?"
-
"I'm so fucki— oh. Is it alright if I swear?" Minji asked all of a sudden, waiting for you to finish tossing the ring so you could answer.
"You're cute," you laughed, finding her question funny. "Yeah, I sometimes swear, so it's nothing new to my ears."
Minji flushed, feeling her ears turn red.
Ah.. maybe hanging out with a fourteen year old 24/7 got to me.
The odd feeling of someone staring at her made Minji look around to find the source, making eye contact with one of her friends all of a sudden. The glare that she sent wasn't obviously enough to scare them away.
"What are you doing?!" Minji mouthed.
Hanni grinned. Danielle looked away. Haerin continued staring, although her eyes had a glint of mischief. Hyein looked more busy trying to count the many licks it took in order to finish her questionably big lollipop.
"We came to spy on you guys for our own entertainment!" Hanni mouthed back.
"Something wrong?" You asked, noticing how badly frightened Minji looked.
Making sure to use her whole figure in order to block the other girls out from your view, Minji sent a soft smile. "I think we've had too much ring tossing! Why don't we try bean bag tossing?" It was too fast that you couldn't utter out a single word before Minji could drag you by the hand, making sure the other girls couldn't catch up.
"Should we tell her that we happened to find her by coincidence and played along with it?" Danielle asked, feeling worried. Mostly for you.
"Nah," Hanni grinned, "didn't you see the way they held hands? I'd say it was a successful plan."
"And we voted Haerin the most devious.." Danielle trailed off.
Haerin gasped in disbelief, not believing the fact that her friends would do such a thing. "Hey!— I may stare all of a sudden for no reason, but it's because her reactions are always funny. I don't have the brain to think of something like this."
"Woah dude, congrats." Hanni clapped all of a sudden.
"Your first words throughout the whole night! Maybe getting a girlfriend next is on the list?"
"I despise you." Danielle giggled at Haerin's reply, not noticing the lingering glance that Haerin sent before looking elsewhere the moment her brain woke up in realization.
-
Inhaling for air, you thanked Minji for giving the bottle of water. It was enough coming from her for making you run more miles than you expected.
"I'm sorry, I guess I was just excited to throw bean bags." Minji immediately apologized, looking for any signs of her friends.
Gathering enough air to talk, you pointed to where the bean bag tossing was actually located. "That's nice, but bean bag tossing is over there.." With a huff of annoyance at herself, Minji looked elsewhere to find any fun things the two of you could do together. "Hey.. this might sound crazy but are you down to use your legs paddle something? Well—it's not really paddling, but we're using our feets so basically, it is." "You mean you wanna hop on those boat paddlers after running a whole 6 minute run?" "I'm down if you're down." "Honestly that's crazy, but because you're down, I'm down."
"This was a bad idea." You undeniably admitted the truth.
Minji tried to reply, but she had to catch her breath. After regaining her energy(well, half of it, but nobody was gonna point that out), she sinked into her seat and sighed.
"Well, it was worth the amount of oxygen I needed," She too, admitted. "But hey, we have the best view right now."
If the two of you weren't facing the wrong direction, it would have been the best. Right now, it was a huge wall filled with horrible yet funny art. It looked like junk.
"Are we looking at the same thing?"
"Are we? I believe the view is pretty from my point of view." Finally realizing what she meant, you turned to make eye contact with the latter who wore a coy smile on her face. "So we definitely weren't looking at the same thing."
"I guess the cute shyness disappeared?" You grinned, feeling quite content at the moment. Also, the redness that crept up under your cheeks felt too overwhelming to control.
"Well," Minji clicked her tongue with a geeky smile forming afterward. "I definitely wouldn't pass on a great opportunity like this. Would you?"
Shaking your head at her question, it brought her a great amount of happiness. "Definitely not."
"You sound kinda wayyyy too experienced with that reply. Are you sure I wasn't the only girl you've flirted with?" She joked, feeling comfortable to joke with you this time.
It was a suggestive joke, too, giving you the opportunity to reply back with something more funny. Or maybe a pick-up line at that—she hoped.
"I'm not sure," you pretended to ponder, "was I the only girl you've flirted with too?"
Minji simply shrugged. "Never in my life. In fact, I think you raised my standards."
"Well then, to be honest," you shyly spoke this time, "I've never actually shot my shot and vice versa. It was always questionably a given whenever a person would come up and ask for my phone number."
"Maybe it's cause they don't have toy guns just laying around, waiting for someone to use them?" Minji joked, getting nudged by you. "You know what I mean!"
"Yeah, you wanted my phone number."
"Don't get too confident.."
"You never denied it."
"And I didn't admit it!"
It could go on for long until Minji averted her eyes elsewhere, looking at her friends who waved at her, looking so small, yet she could see that they clearly wanted something. "I think we might need to go back on land.."
-
"What is it?" The annoyed girl grumbled, glaring at her friends(mostly at Hanni).
"Yeah, we get it. We interrupted your date, but we wanted to meet her too!" Hanni spoke out for the rest of them.
You nervous smiled, feeling a bit small in their presence. Minji noticed this, of course, taking your hand and interlocking it with hers. It was somewhat a habit of hers whenever she'd notice a friend was feeling a bit uncomfortable—which was rare. Something about her holding hands with you felt new—it made her feel things that she had never felt before.
"Okay, we'll pretend not to notice that!" Danielle positively smiled.
Before greeting you and introducing herself, she made sure to nudge Haerin. It was the only option she had to stop her from what it seemed like rudely staring at you.
"The names Danielle! That's Hanni, Haerin, and this one.. she doesn't need to be intro—" Before the poor girl who radiated sunshine energy could even finish, she had been interrupted. "Yeah, I'm Hyein. Nice to meet you!"
"Hyein, you're too young to involve yourself in this conversation!" Danielle reminded.
You raised your eyebrows, wondering what she meant by too young. Hell, the latter looked to be the same age as the one who seemed to have a bad case of staring for no absolute reason(which you didn't mind).
"She's fourteen.." Danielle sighed, feeling disappointed.
"Oh.." Sounding a little rude there, you paused. "I meant, oh! She looks mature! I'm in like—shock."
"Really? I sort of get that all the time." Hyein proudly grinned.
"Mhm! And the names Y/N." They all nodded in sync as soon as you introduced yourself.
"Pretty name!"
"For a pretty girl, that's for sure."
"Hey now."
"Relax, I'm not gonna steal her?"
"That's not what I mean- Ugh."
An idea was what Danielle wanted. Specifically something that could allow all 6 of you to hang out. Minji frowned, noticing the happy grin that presented on the younger latter's face. "Anyone up for bean bag tossing? Losers do whatever the winners want."
-
"I WANT A REMATCH!" Hanni complained.
Hyein side-eyed the older girl, feeling happy about the win that she didn't participate in because it was mostly you doing all the work of tossing the bean bags in. It felt truly horrific knowing that there was probably nothing you were good at.
"I honestly should have been in your team. A free win would have been good for me." Minji sighed.
"Be for real," the annoying Australian spoke, causing Minji to glare at her. "We know that's not the real reason." Minji continued to glare, "playfully" pushing the younger girl away so she wouldn't have the chance to say more stupid things.
"It's already eight pm?" Danielle looked at her watch, pouting at the thought of having less time to spend with you. Though it couldn't beat the disappointed stare that Minji gave, knowing that it'd be too upfront to suddenly ask for your phone number.
"We still have the bet going on, right?" You asked, looking at Minji mostly.
"Ah!" It had hit Danielle in realization at the sudden question. "Yeah, gosh. I almost forgot!"
"I'm cold. Hanni, give me your hoodie."
"Um. No?"
"The bet. Loser. Give."
Feeling defenless and giving up at that moment, Hanni started to mutter curse words under her breath while taking off her jacket. Handing over her jacket, Hyein smiled in victory before putting it in on. Danielle watched the whole thing unwrap, looking over at Haerin with a mischievous grin.
"Haerin? Are you afraid of heights?" Haerin immediately shook her head, hoping Danielle would ask her to join her on the ferris wheel.
"Great! How about you ride the ferris wheel alone for three minutes?"
A frown fell on her face, along with a big sigh. Danielle was a difficult person when it came to those who liked her. Usually, it was a blessing for Haerin, but she was now annoyed. Minji snickered, finding the situation funny. Haerin lazily made her way over to the ferris wheel, cursing the universe for ruining her enjoyment.
"I wanna join her." you stated, hoping Minji would take the hint.
The butterflies in her stomach disappeared, feeling more like a pit all of a sudden. "Oh. Well, you could if you want to.." Her disappointment sounded way too obvious, causing you to chuckle, "Well you obviously didn't get the hint. I meant I want to look at a better VIEW this time," you emphasized the word 'view'.
Minji unnoticably gulped, nodding quickly so her chances of being alone with you on a ferris wheel on wouldn't go to waste. "Yes. Please."
-
"What are you guys doing here? I thought the winner was supposed to order the losers around?" Haerin genuinely asked, wondering if the two of you had gotten fooled.
Minji flushed, feeling both nervous and giddy that she couldn't answer the cat-like latters questions. You, on the other hand, took the initiative to answer her question, almost sounding as though you weren't internally panicking in your mind.
"We're actually gonna ride the ferris wheel together."
Haerin bitterly smiled, blaming Danielle for her stupidity. Now, she has to basically third-wheel and sit all by herself. 'Good going, Danielle. Look what you did, dense idiot.' was the only thing that echoed in Haerin's head.
-
"It's so pretty.." You stared at the cities that looked small from your view.
Minji had been admiring the view, too, not looking at you this time. "Pretty good, I guess. I've seen better."
"Really? You're seriously a picky one, aren't you?" You raised your brows jokingly.
"Hey— you don't know exactly what I've seen in my life, but it's pretty admirable," Minji jokingly huffed, sounding way too proud of her own accomplished
"I'm sure it has been," you added, pretending to sound uninterested, "I'm sure it has."
The silence grew, keeping it peaceful. Minji had more to say, but she wanted you to have a great time enjoying yourself. The silence grew even more, this time a little awkward than it was before. Thinking of how to start her sentence, Minji decided to go big or go home.
"Listen I-"
"Hey so-"
The cut-offs made by each other quickly turned into laughter. "I'll go first since I'm an impatient one." Minji quickly added in between her laughs. You agreed, waiting for her to continue. "Listen, I had a great time with you and everything. It was truly enjoyable," Minji softly smiled genuinely.
It was mutual. You grew fond of the girl. You wished that the time didn't fly past, but repeated as though it was meant to be. You wanted more time spent with her, but it'd be too weird to admit in front of you.
"Thank you.. for this time. I also enjoyed it," You paused, wanting to add more, "your friends were also funny!"
It grew quiet once again. This time, the two of you had nothing to worry about, letting the silence overtake the atmosphere. Maybe it was the fact that you felt a little sentimental that you couldn't even look Minji in the eye. Just how different would have things been if you saw how fond she looked while staring at you? Would you have done the same? It filled her with questions that felt almost too possible to answer nor ignore. It was on border of being either too annoying or exciting to feel.
"I-" Before she could even finish, the ferris wheel started moving again, showing that the ride was about to finish. "Huh?" You questioned, waiting for her to finish. Minji fake smiled, "it's nothing, I was just gonna spit out a fun fact."
You slowly nodded, wondering if there was more to it than just a fun fact. Oddly enough, she looked more disappointed than you did at the moment.
"So, how did the two of you enjoy your time?" Haerin asked bitterly, remembering how it was just more than 3 minutes to herself. At least it was good enough to question her whole existence.
"Great!"
"Yeah.."
You who sounded enthusiastic looked over at Minji, who looked down. You wanted to say more but a familiar face stopped you from doing so, realizing that it was your older brother coming to pick you up. Also, the friends that you had accidentally ditched just to hang out with Minji, though they didn't seem to mind because they looked like they also had a great time.
"Ah, my brother is here.. this is where I take my leave." This time, it was you who had bitterly smiled.
The glare that your brother had sent for straying too far sent chills down your spine, causing you to bow and apologize before running off to where he was. All of it was too sudden for Minji to even bid you goodbye. Hell, she was frozen, trying to process things.
"Nice going!" Hanni nudged, disappointed that you had left without leaving your number or anything.
There were too many emotions she was feeling at the moment. You turned back, waving one more time with a smile as Minji finally returned it. Your figure leaving further and further away from her was all she needed to realize that you had already disappeared.
"I'm such a coward. Please tell me you angels had gotten her number!" Minji basically begged, feeling like she could cry at the given moment when her friends shook their heads(except Hyein).
Minji faced the youngest one, hope laced in her tone. "Hyein?"
The youngest pretended to shake her head, that is, until Minji's head began to hang low in disappointment. "I'm joking. Oh my god, take a joke."
"Pause. Are you saying what I'm thinking?" Minji asked, a sudden adrenaline rush coursing through her.
"Yes, I asked for it earlier, knowing you'd be a full-on coward. You're welcome." Hyein rolled her eyes, giving the note.
Taking the note from Hyein's hand, Minji's stoic expression melted into a soft smile. Although she wasn't brave enough to ask, she felt happy that her friends(mostly Hyein) had her back. Who knew a handwritten note was what made her night the most besides spending time with you? Minji read the note all over again as if you included words in it.
'xxx-xxx-xxx don't spam text/call please TT joking do it :)'
"Hyein.. I'm definitely buying you whatever you want. You're finishing your barbie doll collection tomorrow, okay?" Minji patted the younger latter on the back.
Hyein smiled while the others frowned in envy, wanting the older girl to buy something for them, too. "Hey! What about us?" They asked in unison. Minji stared at the other girls in distaste, ignoring them before pulling Hyein under her arms, planning to spoil her with candy and drinks for the rest of the night. Who knew an ex-stranger would be the reason for Minji's sudden giddiness?
"Shoot. I forgot the teddy bear at the duck paddling thingy majiggys! We gotta go back!" Minji yelled, running a little later on as the others joined in.
Luckily enough, she was smart enough to hide it under the seats. Otherwise, it would have been a total loss for her and a big treasure find for whoever found it.

How Sweet .
Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis: you somehow find yourself in Vietnam with your best friend Hanni, and the heavy southeast asian heat leaves hanni to her own devices... trope: non-idol!hanni x non-idol!f!reader, best friends to lovers, summer vacation, high school seniors, fluff
wc: 3.9k
cw: none
a/n: hello hello! this is my first fanfic in a long long time, and ive never shared on tumblr before.. but i love hanni's fuckass bob ! please let me know what you guys think, im bit rusty in terms of writing ^^'
-------------------
“So… What do you think?”
You stare at your best friend, mouth agape in complete and utter shock as Hanni stood in front of you. With a sheepish expression on her face, your eyes glaze over the silver blades within Hanni’s left hand as she holds a long lock of her naturally jet black air within her right. As your eyes travel upwards, you’re met with a rather uneven, extremely choppy bob planted on the top of your friend’s head alongside some hastily cut bangs. You would’ve thought it was a poorly done wig if she wasn't already holding evidence of her own wrongdoing within her hands. There's an uncomfortable silence that passes between the two of you as you simply stare, your jaw practically threatening to fall off of the base of your skull as you could see the other girl’s eye twitching ever so slightly in response to your silence.
“Can you please say something?! It's not that bad I swear!” The vietnamese girl whines out, spinning on her heel and making her way back towards the bathroom where she had initially emerged. With Hanni no longer in your line of sight, you snap out of your daze, shaking your head as your brows knit together in confusion, just now beginning to fully process what you had just seen. You practically fall out of your seat on the couch as you scramble to your feet, following after the other girl as you call out, “wait, wait, what?! When did you do that???”
Hanni had made plans for the summer to visit her family back in Vietnam, and had graciously extended an offer for you to join. Excited and albeit a bit nervous, you instantly agreed, having been meaning to make some fun summer plans between the two of you for a while now. Your best friend’s family was sweet, having met her grandmother alongside a few aunts, uncles, and multiple younger cousins who were all pleased to meet your acquaintance.
Despite the lovely first day of introductions and adjusting to the horrible jet lag you two experienced once landing, you soon learned that summers in Vietnam were, for lack of a better word, brutal. For the entirety of Southeast Asia, the heat during these months were ruthless, practically leaving everyone in sight panting, sweating, and doing anything possible in order to relieve themselves from the scorching sun– and the humidity. Oh, the humidity. The air felt thick and heavy in a way you’ve never experienced before. It almost felt hard to breathe sometimes because everything around you just felt so… sticky. How did Vietnam manage to make even a supposed nice summer breeze feel hot? Hanni had conveniently managed to not mention the intensity of the weather at the time, and as a result, left you two practically melting into the couch, marinating within your own sweat as Hanni’s grandmother left the two of you home alone for the day.
You practically break down the door to the bathroom to find a distressed Hanni increasingly becoming more panicked the longer she looks at her reflection.  “My Ba used to always cut my hair like this whenever I visited over the summer, I thought it’d be easy to replicate!” Hanni exclaims, staring herself down within the mirror as she tries to assess the damage that has been done at every angle possible. Honestly, the whole situation was almost too good. Almost like a scene from a sitcom or something.
Fighting back a snort, you smirk teasingly, “has she always made it so uneven?” Your unsolicited comment left Hanni clicking her tongue in offense, raising her hand holding the scissors threatening to hit you before shifting her gaze back towards the mirror, letting out a distressed groan in defeat. “I don’t even know what came over me, y/n. I think this unbearable heat actually fried my brain,” she runs her free hand through her hair, some poorly cut strands falling out as she winces, “I don’t know! I don’t know! My Ba made it look so easy!” You watch as her eyes dart around, not talking to anyone in particular as the panic seemingly begins to take over, “I can fix it though! If i just cut–”
“Nope.” You firmly grab Hanni’s wrist as she begins to lift the scissors back up towards her hair, cutting her words short as you wrestle the blades out of her grip. “Y/n–” she starts, “Hanni.” You begin, your voice a tone that is similar to that of an owner telling a dog to sit, eyebrows raised and head cocked to the side as you lock eyes with your friend. She silently stares back, mouth open as if to retort, but it soon closes as she sighs, sitting down on a nearby stool in defeat as you also let out a breath you didnt you know you were holding. At least she didn't have free reign over the scissors.
“Now let me see what I can do about… this,” You hum, dragging the stool closer to where you stood as you get a better look at Hanni’s hair. The scissors she used were very obviously not haircutting scissors, but you doubted she had anything better on hand. Alongside that, she somehow managed to cut drastically uneven halves of her hair, and it was obvious the cuts on both the left and right side were not a clean process, leaving multiple bluntly chopped bits all within her hair. As for the bangs, thankfully she didn’t cut them too short, actually leaving a lot of hair left to work with. Knowing Hanni, she was probably too scared to commit to the act after seeing what she did to the rest of her hair. Now, you were no hair cutting expert, but anyone with eyes could see what needed to be done in order to fix this mess. Hanni awkwardly avoids eye contact seemingly out of embarrassment as you examine her, eyes looking practically anywhere but within yours as you contemplate your next steps, her cheeks faintly dusted a light shade of pink. You raise the scissors and start off by trying to even out both sides of her hair, the quiet snipping sounds filling the bathroom as Hanni sits up as straight as she can, hands placed a bit too formally on her lap.
“Do you even know what you’re doing?”
“Apparently more than you.”
“That's not very comforting.”
“I can always leave your hair like this.”
“Don’t you dare, y/n.”
Soft, lighthearted giggles erupt from the bathroom as the banter between you two continues. Even in a situation like this, you and Hanni always managed to make each other smile– It's what drew you two to each other. You recall the day you two first met. Through some common friends or the other, somehow you ended up at a picnic within the local park, Hanni being one of the first to arrive. She had brought a container full of fruit to share, and practically dominated the conversation with her cheery attitude– but not in a suffocating kind of way. She somehow managed to know everyone who arrived and they all seemed to naturally flock towards the girl. You were no different than the people she attracted, but you were lucky enough to have her full attention the whole day, her large round eyes attentive and focused on you as you told stories and cracked with everyone. Ever since then, the two of you have been practically inseparable. Always waiting for each other after classes and somehow ending up in comical situations such as this.
After a few more snips of the scissors, you take a step back, taking in your work as Hanni’s eyes flutter open, blinking a bit as she stands up. She approaches the mirror, eyes lighting up as she sees the result. Thanks to your handiwork, her hair had ended up in a lovely dark layered bob with straight across bangs that actually looked intentional. It was a bit shorter than your liking, having the ends land just above her chin, but the other girl didn’t give you much to work with.
“Wow, this actually looks… really good.” Hanni spoke, her voice laced with awe as she continued to admire her reflection, “I kind of look like Mathilda! Y'know, from that kid assassin movie or whatever?” She comments, looking back at you expectantly as you pretend to think for a moment.
“Ah.. That's unfortunate, I was really trying to go for an Edna Mode kind of look… Maybe a bowl cut…” You trail off, feigning regret as you twirl the scissors in your hand, eliciting a snort from Hanni, punching you in the shoulder as you let out a laugh.
The other girl doesn’t hesitate to pull you into a hug though, even through all of the laughter, and you tense up for only a moment before melting into her touch, your arms wrapping around her waist as her arms snake comfortably around your neck. The light smell of flowers emerges from the embrace, unintentionally causing you to sigh with pleasure as you can feel the vibrations of Hanni giggling into your neck in response. The feeling left your stomach fluttering with butterflies for some reason. Hanni had always smelt really nice, but this time it was a little different– a little more fresh? Maybe the tropical air was doing something to her.
“Thank you,” you hear her whisper into your ear gently, and you could feel your cheeks warm at the praise as you pull back shyly tucking a strand of your own hair behind your ear as you shrug, “It really was no big deal,” You trail off as Hanni’s gaze shifts back onto her reflection. “Still, I wasn't expecting it to be so… Short.”
You arch a brow at her as you bluntly state, “Well you didn't give me a whole lot of leeway with your little scissor-happy act over there,” which rewarded you with another punch on the shoulder and a tongue stuck out in a childish manner from the short haired girl.
As the two of you exit the bathroom, Hanni lets out a relieved sigh, “aaah, that feels SO much better!” She cooes, stretching her arms and shaking her head, letting her short hair fly as she grins. You also smile at the sight of your friend so happy, but let out a tired breath shortly after. “Well I’m glad you like it, but it's still hot as hell in here.”
An imaginary lightbulb goes off within Hanni’s head as a grin forms on her lips. “I know a place, c’mon,” Hanni grabs your arm, guiding you outside as you immediately get hit with a wave of heat and a flash of light. Squinting, you use your free arm to try and shield your eyes from the sun above, “Do we HAVE to be outside?” You whine, feeling beads of sweat forming on your forehead almost instantaneously as you’re guided to a rather charming looking vespa parked nearby. It was pastel yellow in color, and had some stickers plastered on the side. You watch in awe as the other girl hops on it with confidence, taking a pair of keys out of her pocket as she pats the free seat behind her, “do you HAVE to keep complaining and not trust me?”
You are once again brought back to a dumbfounded state as you slowly approach the vespa, admiring its quality and state before your eyes go back to Hanni, “Can you actually drive this thing? You never told me!” An almost cartoonish glimmer shines within her eyes as she winks, pressing a finger to her lips as she playfully grins, “There's a lot you don’t know about me, y/n.”
Very hesitantly, you slowly make your way onto the back seat of the vespa, awkwardly sitting as a brief second of silence passes. Hanni rolls her eyes, chuckling lightheartedly at your uncertainty as she grabs your arms and places them around her waist, “You can trust me with this y/n, I promise.” Her voice was soft and reassuring, and she looked at you with her all too familiar warm eyes that made it nearly impossible to not trust her at that very moment. Besides, Hanni wouldn’t actually let you get hurt, you knew that much. Reluctantly, you let out a sigh and tighten your grip on Hanni’s waist, saying a soft “okay…” which resulted in an unseen smile from the other girl and the sound of the engine to rev confidently.
-
If there was one thing Ho Chi Minh City locals perfected, it was the art of organized chaotic traffic. You fearfully bite back a scream as you watch as oncoming traffic simply did not stop for anyone anywhere ever. People did not look before crossing the street and every vespa, motorbike, car, or other miscellaneous vehicle simply maneuvered around one other to get around. You swear your grip on Hanni at this point would cut off all circulation in her body as she lets out a loud and hearty laugh amongst the chaos, speeding up as she weaves in between pedestrians with ease, as if she's been doing this her entire life. “Hanni what the HELL–”
Soon enough the two of you made it out of the city, and Hanni guides you through the dusty terrain of the more rural areas of Vietnam. You were a bit nervous at first, unsure if you were a fan of the bumpy nature of the rocky road that was debatably either safer or more dangerous than those in the city. Once you realize Hanni was no longer entertaining your fears though, you take a moment to finally get out of your own head and live in the moment. Inhale. Exhale. Your eyes glisten as you take in the sights around you. It was so… Green. The lush flora coats the environment with a serene green glow, and the feeling of the wind flying through your hair was such a freeing feeling. Your grasp on Hanni loosens as you let out a loud cheer, laughing as you let everything go. The dappled spots of light from the overhead trees rush past your vision below as you look forward, spotting multiple ox and farmers ahead within the flooded fields. The clouds ahead looked so incredibly soft, and the sky looked bigger than ever– even bigger than how it looked on the plane ride here. You can't help but wonder if it were nighttime, would you be able to see the stars here? You press your cheek against Hanni’s back as you relish in the feeling for a bit, closing your eyes in bliss as the sounds of the nature around you fade.
Before you knew it, the green forestry surrounding you was slowly diminishing, eventually being replaced with a more beige sandy soil. A small gasp leaves your lips as you look out, spotting a small beach with an even larger body of water. The waves glistened beneath the summer sun and you were surprised such a place had absolutely no human traffic. “I found this place when I first got Sunny here,” Hanni practically reads your mind, also glancing over at the ocean before finding a place to park her vespa and hop off, “It's a place the locals keep a secret, and now you also know of it as well.”
You tilt your head a bit in confusion at her comment, hopping off of the vehicle, “Sunny?” Hanni raises her eyebrow as she points to the back end of the Vespa, a large sticker labeled ‘Sunny’ in large white letters is proudly showcased on Hanni’s vespa, and you mentally facepalm as the other girl giggles. Still, it left a warm feeling within your chest knowing Hanni was sharing a hidden area like this with you.
“Come on, let's go in the water! It's hot out here!!” Hanni exclaims loudly, immediately booking it towards the ocean ahead, kicking her shoes off and into the sand in the process. Your eyes widen as you chase after her, hastily taking your shoes off as well as you call out, “Hanni, wait! We didn’t bring our swim suits!” You hissed a little as the sand was unrealistically hot from the sun practically cooking it throughout the day, muttering out little “ow, ow, ow’s” as you hopscotch your way into the water. You couldn't help but notice Hanni was unbothered by the temperature, her new hair allowing a newfound freshness within her step. It truly seemed like she was made for the beach.
“So…?” Hanni extends the word playfully with a grin, already calf deep into water by the time you awkwardly trudge through the ocean towards her, kicking up liquid in the process and splashing Hanni’s shorts. She gasps in shock at the cold sensation and you open your mouth to apologize before getting cut off by water getting shot directly into your face. Salty water entered your mouth and nearly up your nose and you spat it out, wiping your face with your hands as your eyes focused and landed on the culprit, who stared at you with a mischievous grin, bent down within the water to prepare for her next attack.
“Oh no you dont–” You immediately side step and just narrowly miss an icy cold splash of water before you, bending over to counterattack with twice as much. A high pitched scream followed by genuine laughter followed suit, and the two of you go at it for a little bit, splashing water back and forth in between fits of laughter, completely drenching your clothes. You were happy. Being here, being with her. You took a moment to truly take in the sight of the girl before you. Eyes crescent shaped as she laughs from her heart, a toothy open mouth grin that you knew was genuine and grew to love over the years, and the way her newly cut hair was soaked and stuck to her cheeks and forehead charmingly. You loved the energy Hanni always brought to the table, her constant smile and the endless surprises she had up her sleeve. You were glad she chose you of all people to be her best… friend.
…Oh.
Hanni however, is not aware of your current sentimental and affectionate internal thoughts towards her, and decides to up her game with a new strategy, smirking to herself as she backs up, building up energy while you were catching your breath. You were so worn out and lost within your own thoughts you only noticed the charging bob-haired girl all too late, “Hanni WAI–”
Practically all of the air got knocked out of you as Hanni strikes you down with a full body bear hug, sending the both of you into the water with a loud splash. Satisfied with her work (and quite worn out by now) Hanni doesn’t even make an attempt to hold you down, going full dead fish on your chest with an innocent grin and multiple giggles as you prop yourself up within the water with your arms. Coughing pathetically, you use one of your hands to wipe your face and slick back your hair as you look at Hanni, who rests very comfortably between your legs and on your chest, her arms wrapped around your waist as she looks up at you with those big dark brown eyes. Your breath hitches as you realize how close your faces are to one another. It wasn’t like you two haven't been this physically close before, but that never stopped you from being flustered. Something about the way she looks at you sometimes always caught you off guard, and you never knew how to handle it. The last time this happened was at your last sleepover together, having talked about past crushes, relationships, and how dating would work after high school graduation. Something about the way she looked at you underneath the sheets after asking about your crushes made your mind go blank. She had that look in her eyes again, and it drove you crazy how you couldn't read it. Cheeks reddening, you instinctively whip your head away, needing to look at something other than Hanni to keep yourself propped up within the water.
Frowning at this reaction, Hanni reaches a hand up and cusps your cheek, guiding your head to face her once again, forcing you to make eye contact with her. “y/n…” Her tone was soft and airy, if anything it was a bit needy. The blush on your cheeks was apparent at this point, and you still had no idea why you were even blushing in the first place, but the way her eyes flickered down to your lips for a split second intensified the color tenfold. You watch as her eyebrows knit together and how she subconsciously bites her lip, a habit she had whenever she was lost in thought– a sight you were familiar with. Even so, it felt different this time.
You watch as Hanni closes her eyes and leans in, softly pressing her lips against yours. It was a gentle kiss, a very hesitant one at that. Just a small peck. You could tell it was Hanni’s way of “testing the waters” (ba dum tss) but to you? It was everything. You quite literally felt fireworks within your stomach as she kissed you, and the shock left you simply frozen in place, eyes comically wide open for the very brief moment. All too soon, she pulls away. She looks up at you again, a glint of fear and uncertainty in her eyes as she waits for your reaction.
You take a moment to simply sit there dazed, mouth agape in the water once again as panic settles within Hanni at the silence. “Oh my god. I'm so sorry y/n. I-I thought—“ She had begun to hurriedly make her way off of your chest when you quickly grabbed her wrist, pulling her back into you as you brought your lips together. Now it was Hanni’s turn to freeze up, but it was only for a moment. Almost immediately after, you could hear her blissfully sighing into the kiss as her arms snake their way around your neck, your free hand moving down her back and landing comfortably on the small of it.
Her lips were soft, and tasted ever so lightly like berries despite having been splashed with saltwater multiple times. You’d never think you’d find yourself within the beaches of Vietnam, kissing your best friend, yet here you were. The sound of waves surrounds the two of you as you find yourself lost within the movements of her lips. You felt her pull away for air and you almost let out a whine at the sudden lack of contact before she starts peppering kisses all over your face. Your cheeks, nose, chin, forehead, everywhere. “You look so pretty right now y/n-nie~” Hanni cooes as you roll your eyes, pulling her in closer as she focuses her kisses onto your cheek.
“If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’ve been wanting to do this for a long time,” you tease, getting a hum in response as Hanni brings you back in for another kiss, whispering “you have no idea..”
“So… Do you have a crush on me or something?”
“Do you not like me back, y/n?”
“Well… I don't know about that...”
“I'm going to leave you here.”
“Noooo~”
Several splashes and giggles erupted from the both of you, and suddenly summer just became a little sweeter.

SYPNOSIS : just another day of your favourite study session with your girlfriend, kim minji.
TAGS : short fluff, they're so in love ( im jealous )
NOTES : oh to be yn 😞 THAT SHOULD BE ME HOLDING UR HANDS 😭🫵🏻😭🫵🏻
Tumblr media
kim minji, the most beautiful girl in the world, who's also happened to be your girlfriend. whenever the two of you settle in for a study date, it turns out to be one of your favourite routines in your life.
today happened to be one of the days. as you both cozied up at your favorite study spot, minji glanced up from her books, a playful twinkle in her eyes. "you know," she said, her voice filled with adoration, "i can't concentrate anymore."
a smile tugged at your lips as you leaned in closer, intrigued by her words. "oh? and why is that?" you asked, using your best teasing voice.
grinning mischievously, minji reached out to gently brush a strand of hair behind your ear. "because you, my love, are an absolute sight to behold when you're buried in your studies," she replied, her voice laced with a teasing tone.
your cheeks flushed, and you playfully nudged her shoulder. "flattery will get you everywhere, you know," you responded, unable to hide the adoration in your voice.
she chuckled, her eyes locked with yours. "well, it's the truth. every time I see you engrossed in your books, my heart skips a beat, you're too adorable for my heart." she confessed, her words wrapping around you like a warm embrace.
unable to resist, you closed the distance between you, stealing a quick but tender kiss. it was a stolen moment, a sweet reminder of the love you shared amidst the sea of knowledge.
as you pulled away, a soft smile played on both of your faces. "you're my favorite distraction, minji," you whispered, your voice filled with warmth and sincerity.
minji's eyes sparkled with affection as she intertwined her fingers with yours. "and you're mine," she replied, her voice soft and genuine. "studying with you is my favourite thing ever, although you distracted me most of the time, i will always cherish those memories." she continued with a teasing tone.
"hey it's not my fault that you're in love with me." you argued.
and with that, you settled back into your study session with lots of bickering and stolen kisses.
